i seriously gave up on NE. Haven't been able to play since that visit to the vampire kingdom (i dont remember which episode that was). like I'm not only disappointed, I'm also straight up bored. I never had to skip a dialogue in any game before. I'm not having any fun at playing, the dialogues, the pace, the story...nothing seems worth of my time and money. A main factor for ANE failure is the lack of consequences. Most of the time we don't feel the consequences of Erika's actions in secondary characters 's routine and vice-versa, at least not in some logical way. Leiftans kidnapping was an example.

The main trigger was Nevra's stupid diva moment "I know we are in a total different place from Eldarya, surrounded by enemies, but I'm the boss and I order you to eat, even if everybody here is used to dangerous missions and with enough stamina to handle a two-days mission without needing to eat (or are you telling me that during the mission on Genkaku they mentioned something about eating? nope, nothing! One day of trip and one day investigating the building), submitting them to a closed space and feeding Erika's paranoia. I highly doubt Nevra, the flawless-mission-achieved picture-perfect kind of guy would have submitted his comrades to such a place. The less they stayed there, the better; and Lance-boneco-de-posto did nothing to stop him despite being normally his replacement when needed. Ffs speak up, mf! You two are soooo siamese-brothers now that surely Nevra would have listened to your concerns!

I won't even elaborate on how the library scene was ugh! Then we all know what happens and Leiftan is kidnapped and she goes to her father again. The following scenes where Erika tries to make us believe she's worried about Leiftan are laughable for you can't help remember that everything could have been avoided, but hey plot reasons.

Mainly the scene in Erika's human room, they could have given us at last an impactful scene showing the consequences of Nevra's and Lance's lack of intelligence (and giving them the "look, even guard leaders who were once known as flawless can fail on purpose sometimes when they don't give a f*ck about the person, even if their main job as leaders is to protect their members but in this case we make an exception right? right??" trait, proving what HC always said "DON'T BLINDLY ACCEPT ORDERS PEOPLE GIVE YOU!!! ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU CLEARLY SEE IS A STUPID ONE!!!!!!!!") not only in Leiftan, but Erika as well. She could have felt Leifs daemon powers affecting her, or if it was sooo hard to write it, Leifs excruciating and maddening pain. After all, their reasoning to leave Leiftan behind was roughly "mehmehmeh we are here to protect YOU no one else*, so we will flee and Leiftan que lute until we come back to rescue him", so it would have been waaaay more impactful if the two realized that Erika was way more affected than they thought, quietly trying to keep herself together (whether alone or with Lance/Nevra), suffering Leif's pain and trying to reassure him at the same time. But then we got that stupid scene where Nevra only looks at Leiftan kinda apologetically after rescuing him. No consequence, no "forgive me", no realization that he was a moron and that by trying to make things right, he was blinded by his ego and almost killed Erika AND ELDARYA! Again, everything starts with that stupid let's eat scene, where the two know-it-all ignored the prudent voice of a woman (two women, if Erika sides with HC).

As a Leiftan simp and considering all the topics previously mentioned I tell you it wasn't enough for me. The've been knocking Leif down the entire season, I would have liked Nevra and Lance suffered the same at least once! And I'm not saying that to hate on them like everybody who doesn't know how to handle criticisms say, Nevra and Lance are the LI's I like the least, but their prompted and unbelievable stupidity here could have served for something nice in this bland story. By leaving Leiftan behind they had risked Erika's life nonetheless, risked the Chosen One's mind and by consequence Eldarya's destiny. They could have been largely responsible for Erika's breakdown, action-consequence!

This part could have been the last straw for Erika in daemon route, after all her boyfriend was tortured and kidnapped thanks to Lance's and Nevra's brilliant tactician minds and even Koori (no I won't complain about her, what a miracle heh?) could have had her time to shine here, being the one who helps Erika to calm down her daemon rage when the dumb squad returns.

After all she is sooo friendly with Leift since he's the only guy she can dominate, that she would also be devastated by his kidnapping and they could bond thanks to their mutual despise for the said men in power, because that's also the moment Erika is finally overwhelmed by her status, it's taking everything away from her. Lance and Nevra left Leiftan behind saying they must save her, her useless life is more worthy than Leiftan's. Their word (the final say, order) was more important than Erika's (cry of mercy, plea) for Leiftan's life or even HC's safety logic before that. If not even logic nor emotion can convince them, what do Erika and HC need to do to make them see THEY'RE WRONG?! THAT in itself is a power/gender dynamic that could have been a proper moment for her to connect with Erika's pain and enrage and cry with her.

Now, THAT would have been an amazing show-don't-tell-friendship- moment, a silent (Perrito in Puss in boots 2 ;-;), powerful scene of support, and a nice midsommar reference, I can even see the parallels in how both protagonists are controlled by everybody, even if Erika thinks Eel is her home, she's constantly brainwashed by the plot and the Guard, like Florence's character is tricked into thinking that place is the one she can call home after a life of insecurities and traumas. And let's remember that the voting scene was a waay more logical and interesting scene about gender clash than any of Koori's lectures.

Instead, we get: useless and mana-eating refs, some dumb lines in first episodes on how men are all baddies nonsense and whatever. Their despise and anger would be totally justified here, making Koori way more nuanced to me instead of her so artificial scenes where she tells us they're friends or that she was oh-my-god worried sick about Erika. And I assure you, this headcanon scene would have made me respect her a little, even believe she truly considers Erika as a friend instead of a veery useful piece in terms of influence in her power game.

Maaaan, I'll find a way to apply this rant to my story. Leif is not BoS Erika's LI, but I think I can adapt minor things and seize the idea.

*what about we remind those two dumbheads that if Leiftan dies, so does Erika? Hi, tetra. I was wondering if there are any news about an eldarya remake or smth like that. I really disliked what they did with ANE, and I was hoping for a redemption series. They did a pretty good job with MCL new gen so I was wondering if, in a couple years, smth like an Eldarya new gen could happen. Also how would you imagine it, the similar storyline with an intruder earthling or in another dimension? For me Origins is a comfort series for sure and from time to time I come back replaying an episode that I miss, I truly am mad about how they wrote ANE, I think it would have been better if they left it like that honestly. If it were up to me, I'd just want to see the story Chino had planned from the beginning, so basically The Origins but done well. With no lose ends, the plot being completed as it was supposed to, no crushes being removed and a real Lance route. I'm going to be truthful as always about it, I think you are used to it for those who have seen my last posts! First of all, I'm sooo pissed about Huang Hua's death at the beginning of the episode. The fact that she's telling her all the things that we complained about her attitude since the beginning of the game. Beemoov waited until the last moment, to do this. AND ALSO !!! HOW IN THE FUCKING HELL, she again hide the fact that since the beginning Huang Chu was the fucking phoenix ??? How do you think that could be possible, to do this shit? Huang Chu was capable to stop this shit way before that, and then because Huang Hua told her that she was the phoenix, she has the power? Like if Hagrid in Harry Potter made him a wizard because he told him and all of a sudden his power came? How could be this credible ???? Does Beemoov think we are so stupid to believe in this shit? Then the moment with Lance was short but I'm not complaining because obviously there is shit to do! But also, what does she need a fucking shower? Can't you just do your job and help the population prepare for the exit??? Just because she needs another expensive outfit !!! Next, in the easiest way, Huang Chu knows how to open a fucking portal when before that she said there's nothing they could do but because she can glow she can just after. Then humans saw them BUT GUYS, what could be easier to make Julien (Cobra) a fucking member of an organization about Eldarya on Earth? And he reveals just now when all the shit comes with Charles? That they are journalists, CEOs, and rich people but he just said that they couldn't have the financial needs to buy guns and other stuff and had to hide from the Templiers to let them destroy Eldarya. But decide to save them just AFTER the shit...HOW CAN IT BE CREDIBLE ???

Next, the conversation about how Eldarya was. To me, it's like Avatar, and their world is out of the Earth but very close to it so they could portal themselves. Even if it's very weird that they just have to walk to be just on the other side of Earth like Eldarya is actually on Earth. Then the moment with the illustration. The illustration is very beautiful, but the moment itself...Gosh, like why does it have to be so dramatic for kissing at this moment and not AFTER? Then the monologue is so boring just to use more manaas. Even Huang Chu is like "What the fuck are you doing ?" Then... THE END. Eldarya is gone. Vanished. And I hope they are not going to make like on Earth no consequences came. A fucking world, collapse.

Guys, I don't really know what to think. I'm so scared about what they are going to do next. This is bullshit, so many episodes were way longer for nothing, but this was too short. We don't even hear or saw about the others. They don't even make the time for them to really say goodbye to this world. Why did they have to choose to destroy this so fast? I'm so pissed.
