Twst X SCP AU idea
The guys get dumped in the SCP foundation due to whatever shenaniganery BS they're pulling this time and get promptly yoinked by the foundation personnel because magic teenagers aren't exactly typical in the SCP world
#Twst AU ramblies#it's a vague thought but I wanted to share#twst crossover#TWST x SCP#Riddle ends up being super useful to the foundation because he can vollar some humanoid anomalies to make them less dangerous#Idia has to warn them about the blot thing though#there's also horror stuff that can be used due to the nature of the foundation and the anomalies that are kept in the facilities#like the types of experiments that may be done on the guys or the types of anomalies they may encounter#either due to tests being done or containment breaches#twst#twisted wonderland#disney twst#disney twisted wonderland

SCP Scenarios: SCP x Fem!Child!Hybrid!Reader
Main Masterlist | SCP Scenarios Masterlist | My Works Masterlist | Rules | Request | Socials | My Original Post
Requested by: @nightfoxyycats
I'm so sorry this took longer than expected T_T
(Yes Ik it's longer than the others I do, and that's cuz I usually end up mixing the headcanons into drabbles/one-shots, but this time, I kept it as bullet points and I got carried away. Oops. And yes, it's easier to write headcanons this way but it'll end up being long af)
When Cain first met you, he overheard and was curious about this new SCP during a test, so he decided to come and watch, from afar of course.
When Cain first met you, he overheard and was curious about this new SCP during a test, so he decided to come and watch, from afar of course.
Anyways, the little test was just a plain and boring one and little (Y/N) was taken back to her containment cell after 10 minutes. Cain had requested to see you as he remembered seeing in your file that you can breathe fire and cry lava among other things due to your dragon abilities.
It's not like he didn't believe them since he's been in the foundation for many years, but he was just curious about a hybrid child like you and wanted to see if you were doing well. You being a shy child was quiet at first and when Cain went to visit you every so often, you both became close and he was a father figure to you, even though you were abandoned by your father since birth and your mother died not long later.
He took good care of you and made sure you were well fed. You were rather polite to the guards and staff so Cain wouldn't need to worry too much about you intentionally killing them. But only for a short period of time as who knows what you'll be like when you're older.
Luckily for Cain, you were also carnivorous, so he didn't have to worry about you eating your 5 a day (not that you wanted to anyways you ungrateful meat-eating child).
Whenever there's a containment breach, the first thing he does is to look for you
Aside from some side effects, he isn't worried too much as he wouldn't receive any wounds anyways so hell just charge towards anyone who looks/sound like you
He's basically your new dad ok?
SCP 076 (Abel)
Abel first came into contact with you during a containment breach
He just saw you casually flying around and occasionally lending the guards a hand by breathing fire just to burn some holes for easier access (how professional)
He saw you again moments later when you were alone and you decided to approach this hulk of a man to ask for some help, thinking he worked there. Abel had abandoned you (like your hopes and dreams left you a millennium years ago) but you insisted on going with him so he took you in
Later his rage in the facility had vanished as he had cared for you for the short period of time he had met you and handed you over to the guards, much to their surprise
He then ran away as he's not totally scared of kids or anything and hid in his box
You insisted on visiting 076-2 and so the researchers did, realising much later that you both had bonded. Abel was a parental figure to you.
A very overbearing protective guardian I must say.
Even more so when there's a containment breach
Like imagine 610 and 682 mashed up together to form an extremely hostile entity and that's Abel for you
But that's only if you were hurt, if you weren't or fit was just a normal containment breach, had be extremely worried
SCP 049 (Plague Doctor) (Guy's pls don't be mistaken, I don't have any beef with 049 ok? XD If I make any characters a little OC then 049 will gladly rid the pestilence from you without consent)
This sassy MF so-called doctor right here met you when for some reason, the doctors had decided to put you both into a testing room (no, it wasn't Bright's idea).
049 was just doing his thing as you just sat on a really high chair (cuz you do be short so ofc you wouldn't be sitting on a lower chair which is lower than your taste in men/women) and watched curiously. The doctor thought it was somewhat cute and laughed slightly from your curiosity.
Sensing that you didn't have the pestilence, he allowed you to scooch closer just to see. After the test was done, the guards took you back out with slight aggression, but you, for some reason, were still polite to the guards despite their aggression which made 049's heart swell due to your pureness.
You yawned slightly and accidentally blew out fire from your mouth which almost caused a containment breach if it weren't for 049's quick thinking
Later on, the researchers had decided to put you both in the testing room again, and you both began to bond as 049 requested you to burn the bodies he performed surgery on
Needless to say, you both had a great time and the researchers were mildly amused
If you somehow knew another friend (*ahem* 035), he'd probs ask him/her to care/loof for you if there were a containment breach
Or he would just sigh and look after you himself if you were closer to 035 and he asked so nicely
SCP 035 (Possessive Mask) (Right about 049 being sassy.... I'll take that back, 035 is the sassiest, right next to a certain sculpture in the foundation)
Anyhow, 035 was actually the reason you were stuck in the foundation anyways
God knows how, but you met this guy wearing this theatre mask and you ended up here in the foundation
Now everyone thought you were either a Keter or Euclid
I mean, you were so close to being put into the Euclid class but ended up in safe since you were so polite to the researchers as well as shy and relatively easy to contain... For now
Whenever they used you in a test, you were rewarded with whatever you wanted, within reason ofc, whenever you behaved well which was like 98% of the time minus minor accidents since you weren't entirely in control of your powers
Sometimes instead of a reward, you'd request to see 035 as he would perform to you and that was only granted when its safe to do so and when that hideous mask would do as he/she/it is told
035 would be that somewhat overprotective yet goofy uncle that everyone loved and he was totally wrapped around your fingers unless you were hurt or if he urgently needed something or someone
If there was a containment breach, he'd look for you, if not he'll call out his 'friend' to look out for you (*cough* 049 *cough*)
When 035 finds you, he'd most likely ask you to fly around to see the nearest exit or he'd just carry you when there's someone chasing you
If 035 were to kill anyone, you'd cry and tell him no to which did end up in burning the floor but oh wells, they're rich enough to contain him so why not use the extra money to rebuild the floor right?
Anyways, 035 loves you no matter what and he'd do anything to make sure you're doing well
SCP 999 (Tickle Monster)
Ok so, when you and 999 first met each other, you were kind of just wandering around the facility minding your own business
999 just casually slithered up to your leg and offered you some sweets and a hug since you looked upset and so you accepted it
You both found a place to sit and just talk bout stuff and what life was like before you were captured
But you were cheery just like 999 and rarely attacked anyone, and if you ever did, it was either that you were hella pissed or you accidentally breathed fire/teared up some lava which burnt some stuff
The researchers would secretly take in some notes bout your interactions and just continued on with their day and left you both alone, but would sometimes keep a stern eye on you
They say it's for everyone's safety, and that's true to an extent, but the main reason they do it is to monitor your progress of you controlling your powers
Anyways, sometimes when it gets busy in the cafe or down the hallway, you just fly across the room, and sometimes, you'll be extra cheeky and play hide and seek with the researchers
999 would occasionally join in but he's more like a worried older brother to you
During containment breaches, 999 would run around looking for you and when he did, he would check if you had any injuries
When you say you didn't, he was relieved but not for long since you mentioned bout making new SCP friends and he just died right there and then (not really)
SCP 682 (Hard to Destroy Reptile)
Similarly to Able, he'd be wary of you at first
Like, he can sense that you weren't just an ordinary child when you just appeared behind him
He was somewhat irritated when you followed him around, but you reminded him of 053, so he just let it slide and let you show some affection towards him
It's not like he didn't like it, he was just embarrassed
Anyhow, the researchers wanted to test how 682 would bond with you, so they made you meet up with him again but in his cell
You were both chatting like father and daughter and soon, everyone had found out that not only could you fly, you could also cry lava, which yes did burn a small hole on the ground and you could somehow breathe fire
You were also immune to the fire and lava so they decided to have a full-on body check and discovered that you were built similar to the komodo dragon with a side of 682 (XD Don't ask)
682 was left stunned, but luckily he didn't feel the need to run up the wall like that bunny
Like who tf invented a self-eating bunny?
Anyways, research shows that just like Abel, the giant lizard was very protective of you
The theory has it that you were somehow related to the lizard, perhaps he laid an egg before containment and some guy took it in and froze it then decided to hatch the egg
During containment breaches, he would basically rampage around the facility, killing anyone and everyone until he found you
And when he did, he would check on you like the amazing father he is and then carry on killing but was then stopped by you
So he would just carry you around until you fell asleep
SCP 105 (Iris)
I think Iris would be a good mother/sister figure when it comes to kids
It kinda came from the fact that Iris hangs out with Abel and Cain a lot, so it kinda just rubs off her
Her motherly/sisterly instinct just heightened when she first found you on a mission and she just took you in
It took a while to bribe the foundation that she kinda had custody
Not exactly custody, but she had a say when it came to your safety, especially the fact that you weren't exactly human and your appearance would cause a disturbance to others
I feel like Iris would be a stern yet kind guardian towards you, leaning towards the stern part since you're a child SCP and has fire breath and lava tears
Iris wouldn't be entirely bothered by you flying around, but she had to bribe the researchers and some SCPs to help you fly better
She would murder anyone who had to cry because they made you cry and cleaning up after your tears is such a mess considering that you have little control over them
Your fire breath on the other hand is slightly more controllable, but if you were hella happy or mad you'd breathe the fire and burn anyone/anything
Most of the time, its unintentional and you're usually sweet and kind towards anyone, so manners aren't a big thing for Iris to teach you
She'd even teach you some of the stuff she learnt/discovered and you'd just sit there being nosy and curious about everything
Like that one time, you almost caused a breach cus you were so curious and friendly that 682 was about to snap off your head and rampage out of the foundation
And don't even get me started with the brothers and 096, OML
Other than that, you both were like a family you never had :,) (You're welcome!!!)
During containment breaches, Iris would literally pick you up and run
Unless you weren't with her for whatever reason (Yes, you're attached to each other's hips... Don't lie, you love it!), she'd do anything to find you
If you were hurt, shed tend to your injuries immediately and lecture you about safety
If you weren't hurt, shed still give you a lecture, then pick you up and run
If you made friends on the way, she may or may not approve and bite of anyone head
And the foundation wouldn't want an Angry!Iris around
SCP 106 (Old Man)
This old man here is basically the definition of a cool uncle/granddad
Without a doubt, he'd go into his pocket dimension and comes back with a teddy bear or some sweets
He'd spoil you a lot and the foundation had enough of this cuz by the time you become an adult, you wouldn't be independent enough
Anyways, 106 would let you go into his dimension and practice your abilities there for the safety of others
The researchers would occasionally ask you to carry a camera with you just so they know what it's like in his pocket dimension
106 rarely gets mad, and even if he was, it'll be about someone trying to hurt you since you're too kind and shy to make him mad
You're even kind to the researchers and guards which is worrying to 106 as they might take advantage of your kindness (which may be true for some, but most of them are just glad you're kind since it makes their jobs so much easier)
Sometimes, you'd make things levitate which was a shock to anyone who walked by and witnessed this
But only for a few seconds though, so it's not much
106 would encourage you to use your telekineses and he'd attempt to train you
Which didn't work so well, so that sucks
During containment breaches, he'd use his pocket dimension to his advantage
He'd hide you in there just so you don't have to get hurt
If you weren't there with him, he'd kill and hunt down anyone who might know where you are
He'd make sure you weren't hurt otherwise he would go into scary uncle mode
If you weren't hurt, he would just hug you which stops you from crying lava
SCP 096 (Shy Guy)
Now what makes you and 096 a unique pairing is that you're both shy
The only difference is that you can speak but 096 kinda doesn't
But that's not a problem since you both just understood each other since day 1
I'd say 096 is that introverted uncle/cousin but he's kinda chill and sweet with you
As for containment breaches, the only difference with this tall guy is that not only will he kill anyone who sees his face, he'd also hunt down anyone who'd hurt you
096 has a newfound ability for this and the researchers were shocked when they first found out
A certain chainsaw loving doctor wanted to test it out himself but was stopped rather quickly by the other researchers
Anyways, one time you almost burnt down the foundation because 096 crept up behind you which scared you to tears
And you screamed as well which didn't help at all since you could breathe fire
Also, when you're not with 096, you'd use your levitating powers to grab lighter objects which did result in the objects falling onto your head
And this is why you need to train more, so then objects wouldn't be yeeted onto your tiny head and knock the nonexistent brain cells out of your nonexistent brain - Sorry not sorry (Ok so at least pretend to laugh)
If anyone bullied you and you didn't say a word, 096 would know and even if you tried to stop him, it wouldn't work
Unless you're in a life-threatening situation, but even then, he'd kill the guy
Dr. Simon Glass
Unlike the others on the list, you're the one who approached the doctor
Mainly because you were lost, but you were curious as well
Simon would probably be the best person to run into, other than Kondraki, but still
It's because he's a psychologist and still very much human (I mean, Kondraki's a normal human I guess, but he has those butterfly thingys)
Anyways, when he first saw you, you were in his office flying about and crying lava
Simon saw you and was shocked but attempted to calm you down and get you you sit with him for a bit, then call the others
But boy did that not work out, because this poor innocent boi was boutta get killed by your firey breath cuz he startled you too much
Bright, Kondraki and Clef just strolled in and saw the mess and even attempted to get you to chill, but this didn't work either
So poor Simon Glass had to find his way to get you to stop being so scared which obviously worked
You sat down with him and he let you doodle on a blank piece of paper
And being a good psychologist he is, he used psychological methods to get you to feel comfortable and to start talking to which you did
You were so polite he gave it to a chocolate bar, but instead of taking it off his hands, you used your telekineses to levitate it in your direction
Simon recorded what he had seen before letting the other researchers take you and offered to take you under his wing on the condition that you were you have a check-up every now and again
That wasn't much of a problem since you were so polite and chill - Usually
During containment breaches, he would make sure that you were safe first and it wasn't so difficult to deal with you since you were with him most of the time
When you're not with him, he'd be extremely worried like a mother hen and run in any direction that would take him to you
He'd be relieved to see you and if you were hurt, he'd bandage you up and try to not cry
If you've made new friends, he would be very happy about it - Unless it's a Keter or Euclid class
They'll be on his watchlist
Anyhow, Simon Glass is basically your mother and mentor
He'd teach you all the basics you'll need and help train you if he can (he'd most likely have to ask the other doctors and SCPs with some bribery)
Dr. Jack Bright
Our favourite doctor here would be that goofy uncle/dad
I feel that he'd sympathise with you since he's also an SCP (sorta) and he feels kind of trapped in the foundation
If you're lucky enough, Jack might be able to take you out for an hour for some fresh air
You'll automatically be under his wing and nobody will ever question it. Ever.
Although he may be goofy and does stupid things, he would be surprisingly protective and his fatherly instincts kick in right away since he first met you
He would allow you to use your powers to an extent and teach you how to use your power properly
You are well aware of his anomalous abilities with his neckless, so whenever Bright had to change bodies, you'd automatically know where he is (other than the obvious neckless thingy)
If there were to have a containment breach, Bright would panic but quickly become calm as that's the only way he could find you and keep you safe
When he finds you he would give you that lecture while finding any scratches on you
If you were to grow, he would give most guys the dad glare of the century and all those guys would run tf away cuz nobody messes with Bright's newfound daughter
I have high doubts that he would let anyone do tests with you when he's not there and even if he was, they would need his approval, so most of the time, you don't even need to worry much
Dr. Alto Clef
(OML Why do I keep adding new characters?! There's so much to write T_T)
Right, so when Clef found you, it was like as if his long lost (well... not so lost) memory came back to him
For some reason, you reminded him of 166 (OML I'm so lost for this SCP, like boi she had a rewrite)
So he took you in the foundation like he did with his daughter and took care of you Since he works for the foundation, he's not remotely terrified or anything, but he's curious about your abilities
And of course, you managed to use some of your abilities because of some SCPs and Bright Clef took you to meet 166 and you both showed your abilities and since 166 is older than you, she's probably trying to help you control your powers more
Which, of course, makes Clef a proud dad
If there were any containment breaches, he'd panicked but once he found you with his other daughter, he was relieved
166 made sure that you weren't hurt and if you were, you'd be bandaged up so Clef doesn't have to worry too much
Anyhow, if Clef decides to introduce you to the tiger doctors, he'd make sure Glass is the first since he's the most sensible person (but let's face it, he wouldn't admit it)
Then it'll be Iceberg, Coggs (that's his name right), Light and a couple others Bright and Kondraki would be last since they would be somewhat chaotic (mainly Bright) even though they're the fun uncle
Whenever Clef has a mission, he'd shove you to either 166 or Glass, if he's free, if not then it'll most likely be Light (and if she's also busy, then yall screwed)
And bless the guy who takes an interest in you when you become a teen cuz our messy boi would make sure that guy would suffer
Dr. Benjamin Kondraki
Ok let's face it, Kondraki would definitely be the mother hen of the dad world in the SCP Foundation
He's literally your mother, kinda like Glass but kinda not, ya know what I'm saying?
Like he'll feed your curiosity since many people around you wouldn't and you're an SCP so you're trapped in the foundation anyways
I'd say he's quite cautious and caring, obviously, but if he's out and about, he'd definitely let you go with him
Unless he's going out for a mission, then that's a definite no-no
He would let you hang out with the safer SCPs like 999 and maybe 166 if Clef is chill, but he has to let you hang out with her cuz she's the only other SCP who could help you get a grasp with your powers
Like how to not burn the bloody floor when you cry and stop breathing fire inconsistently by accident
An attempt was made when they try to train your telekineses but they'll have to wait till you're older
Since most of the time you're stuck with Kondraki, I don't think he'd be all too worried bout breaches, of course, he'd be worried about your safety, but you're there with him
If not then god knows what Kondraki would do
Like that one time, he begged Clef and Bright to look for you in which they did but then they made him do something for them in return
Let's just say, it wasn't pleasant at all, but it could be worse since Clef had a shred of sympathy left for the man and Bright just wanted chainsaws

Make or Break (Loki Oneshot)
Summary: Loki and the reader are paired up for a mission to sneak into a newly discovered Hydra facility. If they are successful, S.H.I.E.L.D. may promote the reader to allow them on a larger variety of missions.
Pairing: Loki x Reader
Word Count: 6,831
Warnings/Disclaimers: Some cursing, violence, mentions of blood and injury
A/N: I lied on the word count when I posted the excerpt. I touched the text again trying to review for the millionth time.
Masterlist
Leaning back in your seat, you perused the tablet holding the mission information for the fourteenth time. It was supposed to be quick and simple, but it didn’t mean you should be any less prepared. Sneak into the newly discovered HYDRA base, download the data, extract the target and get back to headquarters in one piece. You’re only worry was who S.H.I.E.L.D. paired you with to complete this mission, the god who neglected to attend the briefing. You had worked with Black Widow and Hawkeye before, but that was it. You were a lower-level field agent whose clearance did not allow for you to go on the bigger missions with the other Avengers. No teaming up with super humans, gods or tech wizards for you. Or so you thought.
Your superiors thought it was a great idea for you to tag along with Loki this time. He had been a tentative Avenger for about five years now and was trusted enough to go on solo missions. Even though he could do this mission perfectly well on his own, you knew exactly why you were there. It was a test. You had worked for S.H.I.E.L.D. for a few years and were due for a promotion soon, but one you had to prove you were ready for. If everything went well, your ranking would be elevated and you’d be going on the higher priority missions. Loki had unwittingly become the key to success. The rumors were he was notoriously hard to work with, and if a person could successfully complete a mission with him, they were ready to be promoted. However, that rarely happened. Most of the agents Loki had been teamed with wound up either leaving for good or asking for a desk job, regardless of how successful they were.
You lowered the tablet as Loki strode with the grace and confidence of a panther onto the Quinjet. Instead of picking a seat, he came to a halt in front of you. Straining your neck, you kept your gaze up and locked with his. You may have been sitting but the man had no right being so tall. He was absolutely trying to intimidate you, to break you in that moment. You wondered if all the talk about him being difficult were true. Despite both of you working at S.H.I.E.L.D., you had only met in passing. You can’t exactly get a good read on someone’s personality when the only time you see them is at the other end of the hall. The most you two had ever done was a quick nod of acknowledgment before going back to work.
“Agent,” he finally spoke, pulling you from your thoughts.
“Loki,” you nodded like usual.
He took the seat across from you without breaking eye contact. You desperately wanted to return to your tablet. He was turning you into a nervous wreck, but you would not let him know that. Letting your stubbornness win, you kept up the staring contest that could have lasted an eternity. It was only when the Quinjet lifted off that he nodded back, a book appearing with a green shimmer in his hand to steal his attention away from you. Quietly letting out a breath you didn’t realize you were holding, you returned to the mission information.
The Quinjet touched down a ways from the HYDRA base in a forest clearing. For the sake of stealth, you had to go on foot for the rest. Reaching the edge of the forest, you and Loki scoped out the area containing what looked like an abandoned building. You knew better though. Your intel suggested there were a handful of basement levels where the HYDRA operatives were working. It also didn’t help that they had tiny, mostly well-concealed cameras around the building. That was the first hurdle.
Crouching in the grass behind the trees, you pulled open one of the pouches on your utility belt for the device you were going to need. Connecting it to the main wiring for the outside cameras would allow you to fake the feed so it would playback only recent footage, preventing their security from seeing you enter. All they could possibly notice is a slight flicker on their screens when the connection was made. With the device in hand and powered up, you looked to Loki. Surely he had seen these before working with the other agents. With a tilt of his head, motioned for you to keep quiet and close. He waved his hands over to two of you, a green mist shrouding you and tingling your face momentarily, and was on the move, stepping out into the clearing.
You tailed Loki as closely as possible without stepping on his heels. He had used some sort of invisibility charm to conceal you both, but you had no idea what kind of distance from him was allowed to keep it working. Reaching the building, you followed Loki around the perimeter until you found the mounted box that acted as the juncture for camera wirings. Running from the bottom of the box into the ground was the main wiring casing. You placed your device on the PVC casing and held it in place as it cut through the tube. When it finished, you pressed the button to lock it in place and waited for it to attach to the right wires, the device flashing green briefly when it finished. Thank the gods for Stark and his technology making things easier.
Locating a side door, Loki opened it a sliver to peer inside before ushering you to slide inside. Once you two were in, he gently pulled the door shut. Unsurprisingly, the area was like an empty warehouse and yet oddly clean. Had the building truly been abandoned, dust and cobwebs would have adorned the tall, industrial shelving and its contents. Slinking through the aisles, you managed to find the elevator with stairs nearby leading to the lower levels. You both silently agreed on the stairs.
Basement floor one was fairly sparse, but still held a few HYDRA agents on patrol. What you needed was probably down a couple of levels for security reasons. It was on the third basement level where things were getting more interesting. There still weren’t many people on this floor, but there was more variety. Men in officer uniforms and lab coats occupied these halls. Loki led the way under the subpar lighting for the next phase. You needed to find a terminal where you could plug in the flash-drive you were assigned and run the program for data extraction.
Spotting one near a large set of imposing doors, you tapped Loki’s arm to point him in the right direction. His reaction was somehow both predictable and surprising. He snapped his head around with an incredulous look on his face like how dare you touch him. Arching an eyebrow, you challenged him and pointed to the terminal console. A touch of tension rippled away from his shoulders as he huffed softly, leading you in the new direction. At the terminal, you inserted the drive and typed in the commands to run the program. As you waited for it to finish, you searched for information on the target’s location. All you had received in briefing and the mission files was the person’s name was Timothy Lawrence. Hopefully, that would be enough to find him in the database.
As you were scanning through anything that could be relevant, you were suddenly snatched away, shoved against the unforgiving metal wall and chest-to-chest with Loki. You were about to protest when you heard footsteps clopping in your direction. Making yourself as small as possible, you flattened yourself against the wall which allowed for Loki to bring himself closer. Although you were still invisible, it was only a visual trick. Sound or touch would shatter the illusion. A scientist and guard rounded the corner, not paying heed to the console, and passed through the doors next to it.
Relaxing slightly when the doors swished shut, you ducked under Loki’s arm to return to the console. You found a list of test subjects, and sifted through the test subject numbers until you stumbled on the one that was close.
Subject: 604
Initials: T.H.L.
Sex: Male
Age: 6
Location: 409
None of the other initials had fully matched the name you were given, so the chances this was the target were slightly more favorable. You closed out your search and the data extraction finished about thirty seconds later. Swiping and tucking the flash drive away safely, you nodded to Loki who immediately headed back to the stairs and brought you down to the fourth basement floor.
While creeping around the lower level to locate the correct room, dread gurgled in your stomach. You had heard of HYDRA’s child experiments, but actually being in its presence was entirely different. The kid was only six. What the hell were they doing to him and why? And did S.H.I.E.L.D. know how old the target was and not divulge that information to you? Wouldn’t that be important? You had to shake your head to bring yourself out of your self-made rabbit hole. Those questions could be answered later. You needed to focus on finding the kid and getting him out.
Loki stopped suddenly, you almost running into him. He gave you a pointed look and rolled his eyes. You had reached your destination. You pressed the button to the side of the door, allowing it to slide open. The room was filled with computers, some life monitoring systems. Those were alongside a table where an unconscious, small boy was strapped down. Loki closed the door and with a snap of his fingers, cancelled the invisibility charm as you made your way to check on the kid. His little eyes shot open upon hearing Loki, pupils dilating with fear and panic.
“Shhh... It’s alright,” you cooed softly, holding your palms out in front of you. “We’re getting you out of here.”
The little boy stilled, confusion transitioning to tentative understanding. That was until he saw Loki. A strangled squeak barely breached his throat. He struggled against his restraints, looking like he wanted to phase through the table to get away. You turned to Loki who held his hands up and backed away, the hurt clearly evident on his face.
“Hey, look at me.” You reached for the boy slowly, but his eyes were still focused on Loki. You cupped his face between your hands. “He’s with me.”
His eyes darted back to you, still scared out of his mind.
“Timothy, right?”
He nodded with tears threatening to soak his face.
“He’s working with the Avengers now. He’s here to help.” You brushed his matted hair away from his sweat slicked forehead. “We are getting you out of here. You’ll be safe, okay?”
He nodded again with a sniffle. You looked back at Loki and waved him over. Making himself as non threatening as he could manage, he stepped to the other side of the table. You two worked on undoing the padded restraints. Once free, you helped Timothy sit up, his arms shaking like a leaf in the wind. How long had he been kept like this? He could barely support the upper half of his body. If if arms were this bad, you didn’t even want to know how badly his legs atrophied.
“Here.” You spun around so your back was facing the table. “I’ll carry you.”
Loki strode over to help Timothy drape his arms over your shoulders and kept him in position as you hooked your arms under his legs to hold him up. Ready to be back on the move, Loki placed his invisibility charm over the three of you. He led you back through the compound only stopping to keep you all from running into HYDRA agents. It wasn’t until you had reached the stairs on the third floor when the alarms went off. You and Loki looked at each other momentarily before booking it. Between the sirens and pounding feet, it’s not like you needed to worry about being quiet anymore.
Dodging various agents sprinting up and down the stairs, you made it to the ground floor which was now filled with armed guards to prevent your escape. Thankfully, they still could not see you, but you needed to get past them to reach any of the doors. Loki pulled you to the side behind some shelving, cloning himself in the process. His now visible clone teleported near the guards who proceeded to fire at it. The distraction allowed you to sneak back out the side door, but the door slamming shut did not go unnoticed. You were almost into the forest when the agents funneled out of the building, showering you with bullets.
With the illusion broken, Loki slowed to place himself in between you and the agents, raising a barrier to stop the bullets. Timothy clung to your suit as tightly as his little hands could, his whimpers barely audible over the gunfire and shouting. The Quinjet was just becoming visible through the trees and brush.
Stumbling once or twice, you glanced back to try to catch his attention. “We’re almost there, Buddy,” you huffed. “Just keep holding on.”
He nodded as he shoved his face in your shoulder. The ramp to the Quinjet lowered as you reached the clearing. Not waiting for it to lock in place, you hopped onto the ledge with Loki hot on your heels. While you settled Timothy into a seat, Loki closed the ramp and informed the pilot to lift off. The cacophony of bullets pinging the jet like clanging pots and pans grew quieter as you took off for home.
You let out a sigh of relief and slumped in your seat, an arm wrapped around Timothy who had curled into your side. The older sibling in you, a roll that had been ripped from you all too early in life, took over as you gingerly carding your fingers through his hair until he fell asleep. Being so focused on the kid, you almost missed Loki giving you an appraising look. He was standing near the cockpit, watching you two curiously. With a sudden furrow of his brow, he strode over and knelt next to you.
“You’re injured,” he stated before you could get a word out about his strange behavior.
“What’re you talking about?” You looked down to find a small trail of blood originating from your left calf. That was when you finally felt it. The adrenaline-fueled chase must have fogged up your brain enough for you to not notice you had been shot.
Loki lifted your leg to get a better look, you hissing in pain as he did. You did your best not to squirm so you wouldn’t wake Timothy from his well-deserved rest. Your free hand gripped the edge of the seat. Had you not been wearing gloves, Loki would have seen your knuckles turn white.
Materializing one of his knives, he carefully cut and removed the offending pants leg that blocked his attempt to tend to your wound. “I will need to remove the bullet,” he said, returning to his feet to grab the first-aid supplies.
Grimacing at the thought, you shook your head. “Let’s just throw some antiseptic on it and wrap it. The bullet can wait until we get back.”
“Tch. Stubborn mortal,” he scoffed. “It will only be worse for you if we do that.”
He returned to your side with the supplies. He paused to look up at you and then Timothy. Placing a glowing green palm on the boy’s forehead, he muttered something in an unrecognizable language.
“There. Now he won’t be disturbed for the next few hours.”
Without giving you a chance to protest further, he cleaned your wound before starting on the bullet. Luckily, for both of you, it was not too deep. You still tore off a glove to bite down on in an attempt to not focus on the pain, but it could have been worse. Loki was surprisingly gentle throughout the whole ordeal. Although, you couldn’t help but wonder why he didn’t just use his magic. Had he exhausted his abilities having used them for most of the mission?
A light squeeze to your knee brought you back to reality. Loki had finished wrapping your leg and proceeded to sit himself on the other side of Timothy. You tried to stay awake to keep an eye on the peaceful boy in case he woke up. After several times of you catching Loki watching you and Timothy, you gave up and allowed sleep to overtake you.
Timothy stirred when the Quinjet touched down, your arm still around his tiny frame. Moving to stand and prepare to leave, you felt his fingers dig into your suit, not ready to part from you just yet. Instead, you pulled him into your lap and stood to carry him out, ignoring the leg that caused a slight limp in your gait. As if on cue, his limbs wrapped around you like a spider monkey. Meeting you as you exited the jet was a medical team. A nurse swept in to take Timothy with them to the med bay, but Loki placed himself in front of you. The nurse stepped back fearfully bumping into one of her teammates. The crew looked at a loss of what to do until Agent Hill stepped through the doors.
Sighing, she motioned you inside. “Let’s get him to the medical wing.”
What an odd locomotive you all made moving down the halls. Hill was in lead with you following directly behind her. Loki stayed close to you, a hand ghosting your back between your shoulder blades. The medics were in last as they tried to keep up without getting too close to Loki. Timothy shifted in your arms like he was trying to get more comfortable. Rubbing his back, you pressed forward. What you weren’t able to see was that he kept peering up at Loki with the smallest, shyest possible smile.
Finally reaching the room the medical team was going to perform a checkup on the kid, you set him down on the bed, but he still wasn’t ready to let go. You were able to pull away just enough to see his face. He didn’t seem quite as scared but it was clear he was not fond of the medics. While some wore scrubs, the rest had lab coats that were too similar to the HYDRA scientists.
“They aren’t here to hurt you,” you smiled softly. “They just want to make sure you’re not hurt or sick, okay?”
He released his grip on you and folded his hands in his lap, allowing you to take a step back.
“Would you feel better if we stayed in the room?”
Looking between you and Loki who was currently behind you, he nodded vigorously. You smiled back and moved to lean against the far wall, close enough to see you but not enough to crowd the medics. Loki looked thoughtfully at Timothy who stared back at him with hopeful eyes before joining you.
A couple weeks later, you were at your station, rummaging through emails. You found one about Timmy, as he preferred to be called, being transferred at the end of the month to another facility where other children rescued from HYDRA were residing. At least he would be with kids his own age. Through the tests the medical team had run, it turns out Timmy was enhanced. HYDRA had taken him and his family, but left only him alive when they learned the rest of his family held no mutations. S.H.I.E.L.D. would not divulge to you what his abilities were, but considering how quickly he bonded with you and Loki, you were at least allowed to contact and visit him every so often, something you planned to work into your schedule.
You closed out your emails upon hearing approaching footsteps. Agent Hill was speed walking towards you with a folder in hand.
“Good morning, Agent,” she greeted you with an infectious smirk, holding the folder out to you.
“Good morning, Agent Hill.” You took the folder and checked the paperwork inside. Holding back a squeal, you hugged the folder to your chest. “Really?!”
“Congratulations!”
You bit your lip to contain your excitement. “I wasn’t really expecting this, especially so soon.”
“Well, I shouldn’t be telling you this but...” She sidled up next to you, lowering her voice. “I did read Loki’s report. The partner review section is usually filled with snarky comments and insults. Your’s was different. It was glowing compared to past reports.”
You tilted your head at her in confusion. There was plenty for him to complain about. You were not perfect. Your skills as a field agent were slightly above average, nothing to write home about. There was a lot you could do better.
“There was only one word.”
Arching an eyebrow, you nodded for her to continue.
“Tolerable.”
That was a glowing review?! You had to stop yourself from laughing. You really did not want to know what he wrote about the others.
After the mini-gossip session, Agent Hill left you to continue her other tasks. With a slight bounce in your step, you headed to the break room for some coffee. You were later than usual, but everyone on this floor was usually pretty good about making sure the coffee pot was never left empty. Opening an overhead cupboard, you groaned to yourself. All the mugs were on the higher shelving. Where were the ones that were normally lower? You weren’t sure you could reach even if you stood on your toes, but damned if you weren’t going to try anyways.
“Having trouble, Agent?” a low voice queried from behind startling you.
About to lose your balance, you tried to put yourself back fully on your feet but overcompensated and fell backwards instead. A pair of hands grabbed your shoulders, preventing you from hitting the ground. You righted yourself and spun on your heel to face the trickster.
“Thanks, Loki...”
“You’re quite welcome, Agent.” The way he emphasized “agent” made you nervous. You weren’t sure if it was in a good or bad way.
He reached past you into the cupboard. Grabbing a couple of mugs, he offered you one with a sly smile. “Is this what you needed?”
Of course he could reach with no problems. You cleared your throat as you took one from him. “Y-yes. Thank you.”
Turning back around to face the counter, you started to pour coffee into your mug. Loki slid in next to you and turned on the electric kettle. You caught him watching you from your peripheral vision as you moved to the fridge for creamer. Having added just the right amount, you leaned your back on the counter. You take a sip, the mug a barrier to hide part of your face.
“So... What brings you here?”
He motioned to the tea bag he had pulled from the container on the counter.
You rolled your eyes. “Is that all?” This floor wasn’t even the normal floor he visited. What was he up to?
“Yes, Little Agent,” he smirked. “This break room is much quieter than the one normally inhabited by the beloved Avengers.”
Snickering, you took another sip. “Right, right.”
Knowing he had been caught, he shifted his focus on the water just starting to boil.
You pushed yourself away from the counter. “Well, I need to get back to work. See you around?”
“Indeed, Agent.”
Timmy flew into your arms as you knelt near the ramp of the Quinjet. “You’re going to come visit, right?”
“Promise,” you reassured him with a grin. How this kid managed to bounce back so quickly was beyond you, but seeing him this happy brought a spark of warmth to your chest. This was one of the reasons you joined S.H.I.E.L.D.
He let go and peered around you sheepishly. “Mr. Loki?”
Looking over your shoulder, the mischievous god was leaning back near the door preferring to watch from a distance. He ducked his head to hide the light smile on his face. “I’ll see what I can do.”
Turning away so Loki couldn’t see, you smiled at their interaction. Who knew Loki could be a softie.
An agent appeared at the top of the ramp, ready to bring Timmy onboard.
“Be good for them, okay?” You ruffled his hair and stood up.
He nodded and hugged you one more time before running off to the agent. He turned back before the ramp closed, giving you and Loki a wave goodbye. With the Quinjet taking off, you spun on your heel and made your way to the door.
“You are much too kind.”
You hand paused on the door handle. “I’m sorry?”
Loki faced you, a scrutinizing look in his eyes. “You are too kind for this line of work.”
“I can handle it, Loki. I have my reasons for being here,” you scoffed, arms folded across your chest.
“I never said it was a bad thing.” He smirked at you and opened the door for you to enter first. “It’s rather refreshing.”
This god really knew how to flip an emotional switch. You just shook your head and proceeded inside, deciding it was better to not stand around argue with him. There was a new mission briefing for the two of you to attend, and you were not about to let him make you late.
Fury kept pairing you and Loki for missions. Sometimes another field agent or Avenger would tag along for support, but for the most part it was just you two. Most of the missions involved as much stealth as possible, but combat was inevitable in some cases. Loki might as well have glued himself to you during those moments. He never left you when a fight broke out, going so far as to stand between you and the shots fired in your direction. Guess he found a little more than “tolerable”.
Even outside of the missions you wound up spending time together. With the promotion, your work station had been moved to the same floor as the Avengers which meant you also shared the break room and training facilities. While Loki never showed up at your workstation, he did “happen” to come across you everywhere else, usually sticking to the background when others were around.
“You know, Loki, stalking someone generally involves the stalker not being in plain sight,” you teased, using a towel to wipe the sweat from your face. Training with Nat, as she nearly demanded you to call her, was intense but absolutely worth it. You attributed the recent mission successes to her as you may not have survived with out her guidance.
“Tch. I would not consider it ‘stalking,’ merely watching your back,” he scowled, clearly not amused.
“Calm down, Mischief. I’m only joking,” you grinned, nudging past him out the door. “But seriously, you don’t need to constantly ‘watch my back’. We’re at S.H.I.E.L.D., not on a mission.”
Following you, he taunted, “Then, I suppose you would prefer to be left alone. I see how it is.” He feigned being hurt by your words.
“That’s not what I meant, and you know it,” you deadpanned.
His pace quickened until he spun in front of you, forcing you to a halt. “Then, my little agent, what do you mean?”
You quirked an eyebrow at him in a moment of silence. For whatever reason, he had taken to calling you that a few months ago. You were oddly okay with it, possibly even liked it though you were not ready to admit that just yet.
“What I mean is...” You took a step closer, now mere inches away, heart thundering in your chest. “You are allowed to talk to me when there are other people nearby.”
He leaned in, pushing how far this little standoff was going to go. “So I have your permission now? Thank you so much.”
“You never needed it.” Gods, you were so close now. You could have just gotten it over with and kissed him, but the thought of his reaction stopped you. Loki could be so hard to read. You couldn’t take anything at face value. It would not surprise you if he were messing with you now. But you could always try to catch him off guard...
“Now if you’ll excuse me,” you smirked and stepped around him. “I would like to get cleaned up for my date tonight.”
With that, you darted into the locker room, leaving the trickster frozen in the hall, mouth agape.
“He does like you,” Timmy said sporadically yet nonchalantly as he kicked the ball to you.
“‘He’ who?” You kicked the ball in the air towards him.
“Mr. Loki.”
You rolled your eyes at his “no duh” tone. “Maybe as a coworker.”
“Nooo!” He bounced the ball off his head, letting it then hit the ground to be forgotten. “I mean ‘like like’.”
You were about to scoff but thought back to earlier in the day. Loki’s reaction to your comment could lead someone to believe that, but that certainly was not enough proof. And, no. You were not on an actual date, but a date is a kind of planned event, and you had planned to visit Timmy. Loki would probably see through your partial lie eventually, but you at least had him in that moment.
“Now what makes you say that?”
“He always talks about you when he’s here.”
So Mischief does visit him... Imagining Loki running around this playground with Timmy was kind of cute.
“I’ll bet it’s nothing good,” you joked.
Timmy shook his head, not understanding your jest. “It’s how nice you are. He said that you’re one of the only people here who isn’t mean to him.”
Well, that was kind of true. Just because he had been with the Avengers for so long did not mean everyone was going to be friendly with him. New York was a factor but his current demeanor towards “Midgardians” was enough to turn most people away.
“That doesn’t mean he... ‘like like’s me,” you grimaced. Speaking like this made you feel like you were in high school again.
“But he told me-” He clapped his hands over his mouth.
“Told you what?”
He shook his head, his hair slinging wildly.
“Timmy...” you warned.
“But I promised him I wouldn’t tell,” he admitted through his hands.
Knowing how important promises can be for children, you sighed, “Okay, okay. I won’t push it anymore.”
Relief flooded his tiny face as he relaxed. Looking up at the pinks and oranges seeping into the sky like paint with too much water, you pouted. “Alright, Buddy. Looks like we need to head inside.”
Timmy mirrored your pout, but ran to you and clutched your hand as you led him into the building.
Well, this was going to be a boring mission. You were going solo this time. Loki was with his brother off-world, so that meant you had no one but the pilot to chat with. Admittedly, Loki was quite the conversationalist when he wanted to be. It kept the trips to and from locations from growing stagnant, something you very much appreciated. Plus, you just liked hearing his alluring voice, even when he teased you just to see how flustered you would get. You were a little surprised with how much you missed him being around.
At least this was supposed to be quick. The newly-found HYDRA facility was about three hours away. Get in. Snag data. Go home. Intel showed it was small without many people there. Should be easy enough. But... Nothing is ever goes as smoothly as it should.
Glancing out the window as the Quinjet was landing, you noticed how close you were to the facility. In fact, you were a lot closer than you should have been.
“Sir?” You left your seat to confront the pilot. “What’s this about? This is a stealth mission. You’re going to give away-”
You had to jump back to avoid a punch. The pilot had left the controls to take care of you, gun in hand. Is this guy serious right now?! There was no way you were going to give this guy a chance to shoot you. You ducked low, charging him and rammed yourself at his stomach, elbow aimed for his solar plexus. With the wind knocked out of him, he stumbled backwards, grasping at anything that would keep him upright. Taking the opening, you used a seat near you as leverage to jump high enough to wrap your legs around his neck, using the momentum and gravity to swing yourself around to slam him into the ground (a nice little trick Nat so graciously taught you). The force to the metal flooring was enough to leave him unconscious.
Scrambling up, you formulated a quick plan in your head: Take off, secure this asshole and comm headquarters. You made the executive decision to end the mission early. If this guy was a double agent, then whoever was in the facility knew you were coming. You were making your way to the cockpit when you felt something sharp pierce your neck. Immediately, you yanked out what you found to be a dart, spinning around to see where it came from. At some point in your fight, the Quinjet had touched down and the ramp lowered. With your vision growing alarmingly blurry, you could barely make out the armed guards before everything faded black.
Your head was throbbing when you opened your eyes again. The room was dark with a cold, uninviting floor and thick metal bars in front. You tried to sit up, hoping the small change would alleviate your headache but failed. Your captors had secured your hands behind your back, rather tightly to be honest. The restraints were harshly cutting into your wrists while making it as awkward as possible to do anything from your position. Trying again, the muscles in your side seized up and your ribs screamed in agony, a groan falling from your throat.
“Oh look, the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent is awake.”
You flinched not having heard the footsteps leading to your cell. You kept your head on the concrete floor as you looked up at the dark figure leaning on the opposite side of the bars.
“Now,” he started as he unlocked the door and let himself in. “I am going to ask you some questions, and you are going to answer them.” He nudged you with his foot. “Understand?”
Clenching your jaw, you pointedly looked away from him. Like hell. He just chuckled. The gritty sound reverberated off the walls.
“How cute. Your stubbornness won’t last long here.” The man began circling you slowly. “I know you are one of the agents who stole Subject 604.”
“You mean one of the agents who rescued a boy named Timmy,” you spat, earning you a hard blow to your back.
Hissing through your teeth, you rolled onto your stomach to relieve the pain of your bruising backside, but a foot pulled you back onto your side.
“Quite rude of you to interrupt,” he growled, moving to stand in front of you. “Now, all I want to know is where you have taken my test subject.”
“Hah,” you barked. “Like I’ll help some monster running experiments on children.”
A kick to your ribs and you curled in on yourself, coughing up the blood trying to take refuge in your lungs. He ripped you from the floor by your hair when a deafening alarm suddenly blared in the facility.
“You want a monster? Then, a monster you will have,” his hissed in your face before throwing you back down and leaving you in your cell to rot. You knew he’d be back later to finish what he started.
Biting back a pained moan, you pushed your head into the concrete floor, but the cold did little to soothe your pain. The alarm made sure of that, the tone causing your ears to faintly ring. You scooted yourself backwards against the wall and used it to help sit yourself upright. With that little bit of success, you rewarded yourself by closing your eyes and leaning against the wall. Now maybe you could think a little better so you could figure out a plan to get the hell out of there.
A low, familiar voice called your name, startling you to open your eyes. Had you blacked out again?
“By the Norns, you’re are alive,” a second booming voiced sounded off.
Maybe you were hallucinating. They weren’t supposed to be here. “Wha- Loki? Thor?”
Loki picked the lock open with his seiðr and rushed to you to release your bonds. “Let us leave this place, my little agent.” He spoke just loud enough for you to hear him over the alarms that were still roaring.
Gingerly scooping you into his arms, he strode back to Thor who was holding back the HYDRA agents who found you all there. He looked back at you and Loki over his shoulder. “Let’s go!” He threw his hammer down the hall, hitting the agents and forming a path.
Between Thor’s hammer and Loki’s seiðr, it didn’t take long for you all to convene with Captain America and Nat and make it to their Quinjet. The one you had taken for your mission was probably long gone. With everyone onboard, the pilot took off and navigated for headquarters.
Loki sat you down in a seat, giving you a once over to see where you were hurt with Nat giving her input. You probably had a concussion, cracked ribs and definitely a plethora of bruises. The best they could do at the moment was keep you comfortable without agitating the damage.
In one swift move, Loki picked you back up and placed you in his lap as he sat, holding you to his chest. Leaning into the embrace, you nuzzled up to him, too tired to notice the knowing looks earned from the rest of the team.
“I thought you were off-world,” you struggled to say, your voice barely breaking a whisper. Exhaustion was creeping up your limbs.
He rested a cheek on top of your head. “We were. We came back as soon as we learned you were missing. I thought I had lost you.”
Your mind grew foggy, slurring your words. “Nope... Not gettin’ rid of me so eas’ly...”
“I wouldn’t dream of it. Now sleep, my little agent.”
Traipsing through the jungle gym, you followed Timmy who was making his way to the monkey bars. He boldly hopped off the platform and latched onto one of the bars. As he swung himself forward, catching the next bar, you reached out for the closest one.
“Should you really be doing that, Dove?”
Loki was suddenly on the ground next to you.
“What? It’s just monkey bars.”
“You’ve only been out of the Med Bay for a week,” he deadpanned.
Huffing, you sat down on the platform, knowing you would not win this argument. “Fine. But you’re helping me down.”
He was already in front of you, ready to pull you into his arms. “With pleasure,” he smirked with a playful glint in his eyes.
You slid into his embrace and wrapped your arms around his neck. He just held you like that, staring into your eyes. You smiled and pressed your forehead to his. Although he thought it was cute, Loki had a better idea. He tilted his head and captured your lips instead which you all too willingly encouraged.
“Come on, you guys! It’s gonna get dark soon,” Timmy yelled to you, wanting you to follow him to the next jungle gym section.
With the moment shattered, Loki set you down and placed a chaste kiss to your forehead. You intertwined your fingers with his, pulling him along in Timmy’s direction. Both of you walked alongside the jungle gym and watched the ecstatic boy as he navigated the various obstacles.
“You know,” you began teasingly, leaning on Loki who hummed in response. “I don’t think I ever properly thanked you for rescuing me.”
“No... No, I don’t think you did,” he smirked mischievously.
You squeezed the hand you were holding. “What can I do to show my appreciation for your valiant efforts?”
“Hmm...” He looked at you with mock contemplation. “How about... You, my little agent, join me for dinner tonight?”
You nodded in agreement. “I’d love that.”

Fanmade SCP: 6760; a friend in the shadows
Item #: SCP-6760
Object Class:
Containment: Euclid Esoteric
Secondary: (No previous secondary) Thaumiel
Disruption: Keneq Dark
Risk: Critical Notice
Addendum-6760-3:
SCP-6760 has not shown any signs of aggression since the initial incident, when researcher ███████ unfortunately lost his life due to his own negligence. His aggression toward SCP-6760 was uncalled for and unprofessional.
I understand the apprehension toward working with 6760, but through testing, experiments, and therapy, it has been successfully rehabilitated and shows unwavering loyalty to the Foundation. It remains hesitant to interact with any staff not associated with myself and my assistant. Caution and patience is encouraged when interacting with SCP-6760, though it has shown no aggression toward humans after the initial incident and has expressed a fascination with mankind. It’s for the best that 6760 is allowed to explore and observe Foundation staff, as knowledge of its surroundings keeps it from lashing out in its confusion.
Many of you know, SCP-6760 was instrumental in securing site ██ after its disastrous containment breach. I’ve consulted with my colleagues and higher ups, and we came to the unanimous conclusion that 6760’s anomalous properties should be utilized in the case of future breaches.
I understand that this is a controversial decision, and I understand that 6760 could pose a threat to aggressive personnel. Think of it as a police dog: If you give him no reason to attack you, or me no reason to initiate an attack, you will not be harmed. Feel free to contact me with any concerns you feel need addressing, and we will work together to secure, contain, and protect.
- Dr. Andreas Fox
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6760 is allowed to roam the facility under the watch of Dr. Fox. The majority of the time, SCP-6760 can be found hiding in Dr. Fox’s shirt, and is allowed to be taken home with Dr. Fox since his residency had been modified into a secure site. SCP-6760 is allowed to be housed at one of two sites depending on its preference, the judgement of Dr. Fox, and Foundation discretion.
Regardless of containment site, 6760 is to be provided with a five (5) by five (5) by two point five (2.5) meter glass enclosure. Glass is thirty (30) cm thick. SCP-6760 is to be kept in its enclosure when not being supervised. A one (1) by one (1) by one point five (1.5) meter table is to be placed in the center of both enclosures, with LED lights on for the duration of containment. 6760 is encouraged to hide from the light. When requested, 6760 is to be spoken to in a calm, non-threatening tone. Polite conversation has been shown to keep 6760 docile and happy.
In addition, different colored lights are to be utilized in SCP-6760’s containment. A description of colors and their effects will be provided below.
Description: SCP-6760 was discovered at ████, ███ on ██ / █ / ████ after crashing down to Earth in the form of a meteor. Researchers initially found an empty crater that seemed to be slick with oil. Unprompted, researcher ██████ explored the creator. Upon stepping on the “oil”, it surrounded, taking a semi-humanoid form and consumed the researcher. It recoiled from high-intensity lights that were placed around the crater for observation. It lasted in this form for approximately thirty seconds before reducing itself to a quarter-sized sphere. SCP-6760 was then transported in a glass container illuminated by a flashlight to site ██. It was later transported to site ██ when Dr. Fix showed interest in rehabilitating the item.
SCP-6760 is an amorphous, black entity made of an unknown substance that calls itself Scorn. Staff are encouraged to call it by its preferred name, as addressing it with its item number results in negative reactions. Testing has come back inconclusive, and staff has since given up on trying to assess the item’s DNA. When put in a dark room, the item will expand to fill it and take on whatever shape it so desires. 6760 has the ability to inflict catastrophic damage on the facility, though it’s always insisted it’s “just stretching” when it expands. Though it can expand under light, the entity has expressed that it “burns too bad to move”. It spends the majority of its time under its table or with Dr. Fox, who has complete and total control over the entity. SCP-6760 has never denied a command from Dr. Fox, no matter how tedious, menial, or absurd the command is. It is capable of speaking rudimentary English, which is steadily improving with the help of Dr. Fox and his underling, ███████ █████. When given a command by Mr. █████, it hesitates and complains, but eventually obeys. These two are regarded to be the only people with complete control over 6760, though it’s been seen to obey other Foundation staff in dire circumstances.
SCP-6760’s most common forms are:
- A vaguely humanoid shape of varying height, always measured to be over two (2) meters tall. Its features are indiscernible, though it always smiles at Foundation staff to show off its “pretty teeth”. When in a humanoid shape, the item condenses its matter to form a skeletal system. When it reverts to a simpler shape, it regurgitates its skeleton. All “bones” collected from SCP-6760 are to be collected and stored for testing.
- An average, button down shirt. This form is most commonly taken when hiding under Dr. Fox’s shirt. If Dr. Fox removes his shirt, SCP-6760 will act as a temporary replacement, usually sticking its “head” out of the shirt pocket to communicate with Foundation staff.
- A one eyed sphere, most commonly taken during containment when hiding under its provided table. It can be described as similar to a Beholder, a monster enemy in the tabletop game Dungeons and Dragons.
- An amorphous blob identical to SCP-999. This form is only taken when the entities interact, though due to 999’s anomalous properties, SCP-6760 is almost always reduced to a giggling puddle. It takes approximately 15 minutes to return to its original shape on its own, and 5 minutes with Dr. Fox’s encouragement.
Testing has shown that SCP-6760 has a wide range of reactions to different colored lights. Notable examples include:
- Sunlight causes an adverse reaction in the item, though it sustains no physical damage from being exposed to it. It’s less of a threat and more of an inconvenience to the item.
- Any type of LED will result in the entity becoming slightly weakened. They cause the entity to struggle when taking shape. Notable LED variants are:
Mixed: Multiple light sources of different colors will confuse and disorient the item. It reacts by hiding and crying out for Dr. Fox. Dr. Fox is the only staff member able to comfort the entity.
Red: Any source of red light causes an intense and immediate negative reaction. The longer 6760 is exposed to red light, the more violent the entity becomes. It will do anything and everything possible to break the offending bulb, often resulting in burns that heal themselves when the entity is provided with ample shadow.
Green: Green lights energize and excite 6760. The item will act similarly to a puppy when exposed to green lights. Due to this, green lighting should be utilized when the item interacts with SCP-999.
Yellow/orange: Yellow and orange lights are mildly calming to the entity. It will still try to hide in shadows, though it has no adverse reactions to the light. Yellow and orange lights are to be used as a mild sedative, with a “high” similar to that of a low dose of Valium. It’s theorized that yellow and orange lights produce such a reaction because of 6760’s relationship with 999, but at this point in time there’s no way of knowing.
Blue: Blue LEDs cause the entity to almost instantaneously put the entity to sleep. SCP-6760 will find the nearest shady spot, fall asleep, and remain there until the light is either shut off or replaced with light of a different color. Attempts to wake the subject invariably fail.
Purple: Purple lights are SCP-6760’s favorite. The item has expressed that these lights are the gentlest on his skin. It frequently requests purple lighting at night, as it better helps the entity relax without outright sedating it.
Addendum-6760-1:
The following is an interview conducted by Dr. Fox after months of containment and speech therapy. It should be noted that SCP-6760 was not able to be understood and Dr. Fox provided a transcription once the interview concluded.
Interviewer: Dr. Andreas Fox, site ██
Interviewee: SCP-6760
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dr. Fox: Scorn, I understand that you’re ready to talk about your retrieval?
SCP-6760: I don’t want to.
Dr. Fox: But will you?
SCP-6760: [Item bows its head.]
Dr. Fox: You realize you killed a man, don’t you?
SCP-6760: [Item nods.]
Dr. Fox: Can I ask why you would do such a thing?
SCP-6760: [Item bears its teeth.] He stepped on me.
Dr. Fox: He hurt you?
SCP-6760: Ground his heel into me. Called me disgusting.
Dr. Fox: Did you know what that word meant at the time?
SCP-6760: No, but I understood his voice. I heard the hate. I feeled it under his foot.
Dr. Fox: The correct word is felt.
SCP-6760: [Item grumbles indecipherably.]
Dr. Fox: Apologies. I understand you’re still learning. [Dr. Fox consults his clipboard.] You could feel that he was disgusted with you. That’s what motivated you to kill him?
SCP-6760: Yes.
Dr. Fox: What would you do if that happened again? Would you kill another person for insulting you?
SCP-6760: [Item pauses for thirty seconds.] No.
Dr. Fox: Why not?
SCP-6760: You would be mad. Or sad. You would shine lights on me.
Dr. Fox: [He makes note of this.] What if there were no lights? If there would be no consequences, would you attack someone?
SCP-6760: No. You would be sad or mad.
Dr. Fox: I would be, but I’m glad to hear you won’t do it again.
SCP-6760: I want to go home.
Dr. Fox: Back to your chamber?
SCP-6760: [Subject nods.] With the pretty lights.
Dr. Fox: Does that mean you’re done talking to me for the day?
SCP-6760: [Subject nods.]
Dr. Fox: I just have one more question. Do you feel remorse for what you did? Do you understand that word?
SCP-6760: [Subject refuses to move or speak.]
Dr. Fox: Alright, Scorn. I can escort you back to your chamber now.
Addendum-6760-2:
During the security breach at site ██, during which multiple euclid and keter items escaped their chambers, SCP-6760 was found scouring the halls and “absorbing” any and all personnel it found. No personnel retrieved by SCP-6760 were hurt in any way by the item. It proceeded to gather as many staff members it could find, including D-Class, and took them outside. It found a MTF vehicle to hide under until Dr. Fox requested its help. They reentered the facility, escorted by a MTF team, and SCP-6760 was able to neutralize multiple items. Items include: SCPs 173, 049, 372, 682, and multiple instances of 939. It attempted to apprehend SCP-096, but was ultimately unsuccessful.

Side Tracks opinions part 3: Logan
(Here I go again! Logan’s playlist is a bit more straightforward than the other bois, so heres hoping this one doesn’t take me as long 🤞)
1) The Elements: Not much to say. It just a literal musical list of the periodic table of elements. You can’t get much more Logan than that 😂 Also, Logan likes chemistry!
2) White and Nerdy: Apart from the obvious listing of nerdy things and the legitimate title, Logan feels like he doesn’t always get taken seriously enough by the other sides (“I wanna roll with the gangstas, But so far they all think I'm too White and nerdy” “I wanna bowl with the gangstas, But, oh well, it's obvious I'm White and nerdy”). Basically Logan is a big nerd and a dork. He knows that and he’s worried that sometimes it ostracizes him from the others.
3) Algorithm: Logan doesn’t understand humans very well, at least, he doesn’t understand anything but the logical aspect of humans and the world. He has a different view on life than the other sides (“Supercomputer status, walkin' along streets”). He thinks that the dilemmas and problems in the world would not exist if it wasnt for humans throwing a wrench into all of it with their feelings and emotions (“Humans don't understand, humans will sell a lie. Humans gotta survive, we know we gon' die. Nothing can live forever, you know we gon' try. Life, is it really worth it?”). As the song puts it, Logan believes that the theoretical algorithm of life is perfect, and he doesn’t understand why it needs to get muddied and ruined by simple human issues (“Looking for something worth it, the algorhythm is perfect, mmh”).
4) Fitter Happier: This song is interesting because it shows us the innerworkings of Logan’s thought process. A lot of what he does involves simply planning daily tasks (things as small as drinking or eating) based on what he knows is most healthy for Thomas. The song completely lacks any sense of feeling or emotion and is, as I stated, a legitimate list of things to do in a day. All tasks are put in place to keep Thomas fitter and happier, however, Logan doesn’t have a grasp on emotions and clearly doesn’t know all of the things that Thomas needs to be happy AND healthy. I’ll just list some interesting daily tasks in the song here: “Regular exercise at the gym, three days a week” “Eating well, no more microwave dinners and saturated fats” “Careful to all animals, never washing spiders down the plughole” “Favours for favours, fond but not in love” “Still cries at a good film” “Still kisses with saliva”. As the song goes on, you kind of get a sense that Logan is losing his grip on Thomas, or doesn’t understand why Thomas isn’t feeling satisfied with the plan that, to him, is perfect. Thomas feels trapped in the life that Logan plans for him, and Logan does not understand why that is (“A pig in a cage on antibiotics” “No chance of escape”). There are also a lot of points in the song where Logan shows that he finds emotions to be a weakness, or something to hide away (“Will not cry in public” “Nothing so childish” “No paranoia”).
5) Medicine: I’m not 100% sure what this song is about, but it talks a lot about ancient philosophy. Basically being curious about the world and people in it. I’m guessing that Logan just likes philosophy and thinks that people should always stay curious. Logan really values curiosity and thinking (of course).
6) The Watchtower: This ones... interesting to say the least. If you’re a fan of the broken blue crayon theory you may want to look into this song a bit more. The song talks about being broken and wanting to restart things, possibly showing that Logan will crack at somepoint and need to reevaluate how he’s been handling things (“I'm breaking, I need another start. Far away, From the city lights.”). Ultimately, I think this song is about Logan’s neutrality over all the situations that the group handles. He doesn’t really see problems as good or bad, because he can see logical scenarios with both options (“From the watchtower, We can see things coming. Good or bad”). He knows that this mentality makes him a bit unlikeable because the other sides want him to side with them, but he doesn’t really mind (“I don't mind, If I'm impopular-ar.”).
7) The Breach: Another interesting one which I feel like could have two meanings. My first take was that this song was about Virgil escaping the dark side of Thomas’ mind and mixing in with the light sides. Logan wasn’t quite sure how to process this new arrival at the begining and had no control over his escape (“Generally operating normally, A small anomaly has become evident” “There is spiking in the pulse of a member of the cargo” “First: the recommended course of action should be to Administer a sedative to all the cargo via ventilation” “Now: one specifically is up and moving to the door”). After looking into the lyrics a bit more though, it seemed like a lot of them could be applied to Janus as well, specifically his first appearance when he was disguised as patton. Logan knew from very early on the Janus was taking pattons spot, but was unable to say or do anything about it due to Janus being the only one with “the access code” (“The ship is fully capable of automating this But requires an approval code from the administration” “He has found the access panel situated in the floor. He is entering the codes and overriding has begun. Reading rage in the nervous system, nothing can be done”). Either way you see it, I’m nearly positive it is about a dark side coming out to the light and Logan not being able to control it.
8) The Letter C: I LOVE THIS ONE 😂 And it’s the first in our list of songs that Logan vent’s about Roman in! The premise of the song is that someone insulted the main singers rap and so the main singer goes off about the comeback he wished he would have used to tell this guy off. It’s honestly such a funny song and I couldn’t give it the justice it deserves here by just listing the lyrics. It gives off huge rap battle vibes and I’m sure Logan would have been imagining the one who insulted him as Roman. Here’s just some great lines that I’d like to point out: “Man I wish I could’ve hit him with a zinger. Should’ve served him with the verbal equivalent of a middle finger.” “I’d say, "Are you insured medically? ‘Cause you sure better be When you’re broken in half from provokin’ the wrath” ““Aw shit!” “Oh crap!” Everybody within earshot would be like, “Oh snap!” I’d high five all around while the guy falls down in a ball on the ground” “I pull out a sharpie marker, Narrow my eyes through my Warby Parkers. Like, “Watch who you’re f-in’ with, with your f-in’ ish””.
9) Galaxy Song: Logan trying to calm Thomas down in the only way he knows how: Gushing about how great the natural world is (“Just remember that you're standing on a planet that's evolving” “Now the sun, and you and me, and all the stars that we can see, Are moving at a million miles a day” “Our galaxy itself contains a hundred billion stars” “And our galaxy itself is one of millions of billions In this amazing and expanding universe”). It’s cute, its wholesome, and Logan tries his best to be comforting 🖤 (“So remember, when you're feeling very small and insecure, How amazingly unlikely is your birth; And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere out in space, Cause there's bugger all down here on Earth!”).
10) Streaks: Logan explains to Thomas that growing up is a process that he needs to experience. He understands that it’s hard and scary, but he believes that if you follow the plan and stay in the lines, everything will work out alright (“You can decide on the colors that you like As long as you stay in the lines” “All these years of filling out papers, Building a future, keeping your head down. Tryin' to keep a head on your shoulders” “Cause It's all a piece of the plan. It's something You'll understand When you're older” “Give em what they need to move on, then you let them go”). As he’s explained in canon, he doesn’t really see room for taking a lot of creative liberties in life, and he believes Thomas should follow the mold set out for everyone in life. That’s the logical way to survive anyways.
11) What I do for You: (This song and the next song feel pretty connected to me, so keep that in mind) In this song, Logan really shows his pride and ego. He believes he is the most important side for Thomas and that he will get Thomas the furthest in life (“I want you to survive” “I'm your only hope, I'm your savior too. Every single test You've been ever carried through”). Despite his superiority complex, he knows that Thomas doesn’t see Logan as important as he should. Logan knows how much he does for Thomas but is a bit annoyed that Thomas never seems to notice (“I couldn't ever give up on you, But don't thank me”).
12) Erase Me: Oooh boy. This ones heavy... Logan is PISSED. The whole song feels like a jab at Thomas, daring him to get rid of Logan to see what happens. Logan still feel important and knows his necessity as part of Thomas, but he’s frustrated with the lack of recognition he gets for all of the things he does (“Would it be easier? To just delete, our pages And the plans we've made” “Erase me, so you don't have to face me. Put me in ground and move the daisies” “So what will you do? With no me for you” “Erased me, what the fuck is this? You're crazy, Turn around and do each time, Replace me”). Logan sounds MAD in this song, something that he’s shown in canon quite a few times. It’s interesting that Logan alone seems to be the only side whose shown such anger and furstration, this song just adding to his list of instances. I’m not sure what that could mean going forward...
13) Art is Dead: Well what do yah know? Another rant song for Roman! We all know how Logan feels about Thomas’ choice of career as an entertainer and this song is basically just that. Logan can’t understand Roman’s dreams and aspirations for Thomas because they don’t make any logical sense to him (“ Have you ever been to a birthday party for children And one of the children won't stop screaming Cuz he's just a little attention attractor. When he grows up to be a comic or actor He'll be rewarded for never maturing, For never understanding or learning That every day can't be about him. There's other people, you selfish asshole!”) Logan would rather Thomas take up a job that is benefiting society and making his world a better place (“Cause I wanted my name in lights When I could have fed a family of four For forty fucking fortnights”). Roman’s self-centered and fantastical view on Thomas’ future is just childish to Logan and he feels like Thomas may one day grow out of it (“I'm just a kid And maybe I'll grow out of it”).
14) Equation: Oh man... I just don’t know. The song mentions a mom and dad, so I automatically go to a younger Thomas and his younger version of Logan. The song just asks a bunch of questions that feel like things a little kid might ask (“Have I made you cross? Have I made you sad? Have I made you proud Mom?” “How white is the snow, Does it matter after all? Will I ever learn How to fly like a birds?” “Are you going to school? Are you far from home? Are you well alone Dad? Will I be a brave? Will I be a bright? Will I be a good grown up?”). Logan may have represented more of Curiosity in Thomas’ younger years than Logic. A lot of Logan’s songs have an encompasing theme of wonder and curiosity being amazing things to have. I think Logan really values that part of himself/Thomas.
15) Sunrise: Yes! The love song everyone! I’ll shut that down right away and say that Logan DOES NOT UNDERSTAND LOVE. He isn’t even capable of “love” as some of the other side may be. He of course understands love and how it works, but it’s merely a process to him, and a word which he’s openly stated that he doesn’t like to use. So lets try to look at this from Logan’s perspective. The song is literally about learning spanish, yes its clearly romantic, but its about learning spanish. Something that Logan has shown an interest in since wayyyy back at the begining of the series. I like to imagine that this song came up in Thomas’ playlist and Logan was overjoyed that Thomas was not only learning something from the song, but also learning spanish!
16) One More Time with Feeling: This one feels kind of tough to crack. To me, I get the feeling that Logan’s again talking about the others and the fact that they don’t listen to him. He prepares his words and hopes to get through to them, but is only welcomed by blank faces and misunderstanding (“Everyone takes turns. Now it's yours to play the part And they're sitting all around you, Holding copies of your chart, And the misery inside their eyes is Synchronized and reflecting into yours”). After getting shut down, Logan tries again ‘with feeling this time’, hoping to get through, but it falls flat over and over again (“Hold on. One more time with feeling. Try it again, breathing's just a rhythm. Say it in your mind until you know that the words are right”). Logan has been trying really hard to appeal to the others in different way, but if seems like it never works in his opinion (“You thought by now you'd be So much better than you are. You thought by now they'd see That you had come so far”). He want’s to finally be shown the respect that he believes he deserves and hopes to one day be loved by the others and much as they love each other (“And the pride inside their eyes Would synchronized into a love you've never known. So much more than you've been shown”).
17) In My Mind: Logan has a drastically different view of Thomas’ future than is actually the case (“In a future five years from now. I'm one hundred and twenty pounds, And I never get hung over Because I will be the picture of discipline” “And I will be someone I admire And it's funny how I imagined That I would be that person now, But it does not seem to have happened” “Maybe I've just forgotten how to see That I am not exactly the person that I thought I'd be”). He’s realized that he has some unrealistic expectations for Thomas and that’s odd to him as, logically, things should have played out how he thought they would. At the end of the song, Logan seems to accept the fact that even though Thomas hasn’t strictly followed the plan that Logan expected, he’s still doing great and succeeding at life (“I am exactly the person that I want to be”).
18) Not Perfect: This song has a lot of lyrics, but most of them can be taken at face value. Logan recognizes that everything in Thomas’ life (his world, his country, his house, his body, and his brain) is not perfect. I’m sure it’s a metaphor for Logan realizing that he, himself, is not perfect and he’s begining to realize that he can’t solve every problem.
19) Human: This song is also long. REALLY LONG. But thankfully it is fairly straight forward. When life is getting Thomas (or any of the sides down) Logan will list facts about their life as a human that are supposed to be comforting or inspirational. It’s basically just like Galaxy song, but a bit more personal and loving. Here’s just some cute quotes from it to keep you all going: “For you are a force of skin & nails & heart. A walking Monae, you're breathing art” “The average human heart will beat over 100 million times in one lifetime. I'm sure you'll find someone who won't mind skipping one for you” “You need to grow up. You need to grow out of things. When something doesn't belong, even your body knows when it's time for that thing to be Replaced” “15 million blood cells are Destroyed in a human body every second. If your body can get over it You can get over that last relationship”). Basically Logan trying to ground Thomas in reality to make him realize that everything he’s going through is just human.
20) Time Adventure: (ughhh this song make me cry every time I hear it) That being said, I was a bit surprised to hear this on Logan’s album and not Pattons. Not only that, but it’s his finishing song. The song is all about growing up and how, even though time passes, you will always have the good memories that you built along the way. It’s also about how, no matter how much time passes, the singer and the person theyre singing about will always be friends. Seems kind of like a weird song choice for Logan right? It seems like it needs to include Patton in someway... So perhaps its Logan trying to comfort Patton. Patton has shown a fear of growing up and changing, so perhaps telling him that he’ll always have a friend in Logan no matter how the times change is something that Logan does to ease his worries.
(Oh boy... this one took a long time 😅 Sorry about that! Like usual, let me know what you think and give your own opinions if you’d like!)

Warning the following information contains swearing detailed graphic descriptions and sexual references and criminal acts which could be upsetting to some viewers viewers discretion advised before reading the rest of this post remember this is all of my own oc is not official and I don't know how to make it if it's even possible anyone knows please comment but for now is this is my personal SCP but other Scps mentioned are real as in official
Special containment procedures:
Due to this SCP anomaly she is allowed to roam free the foundation so long as she doesn't try to escape or causes containment breach but due to her diswant of humming large group of people she is allowed to interact with other SCP so long as not to agitate them
Description:
SCP- 691 is a French female of age 18 with blonde curly hair brown eyes wearing a white 1950s outfit with pink stripes and a small crucifix around her neck which she keeps in her shirt with white shoes white socks and slightly smaller stature for girl of her earer and looks younger for age. On her right arm is a faded golden brown bracelet with green veins attached directly from the bracelet to her hand all attempt to move remove or even cut the veins resulted in failure subject doesn't feel ham but as desired to remove the bracelets even though she can't subject full name is Dizzy lalelu subject is able to speak fluent French and English language and behaviour is cocy confident and depending on the person also could be extremely rude with no fear of using bad language when want to
SCP-691 anomalous ability is that anyone who comes into physical contact with her becomes extremely sick and sufferers immense pain in a form of extreme cases of that particular illness illnesses are random SCP 691 has the ability to control and choice what sickness the person will suffer from although subject can only choice what illnesses the victim will have if she's aware that someone is about to touch her victims will be unable to die from the illnesses even after taking damage which is impossible to survive examples include decapitations but able to take pain and damage during the effect any treatment which can cure the illnesses are ineffective and only cause mild relief even other scps victims of describe the pain of the effect being 60 times worse than the then anything they have ever experienced illnesses are random and can vary to something as Cancer or simple as a bruising or a broken bone even not being actual illnesses but bodily harm or mental illness but in extreme cases. If the victim is not a living thing it will only contract SCP 691 personal illness referred to as the poison All effects from the subject will wear off exactly on hitting the 62 hours Mark the damage taken by the victim will disappear to its before state of infection including any surrounding damage victim has done during it's infection Any object she touches with bare hands, clothing or anything she permanently wearing other than the bottom of her shoes and feet will be affected by SCP-691-A and will remain in that state for exactly 62 hours after which it will resume to its normal state the area she touches has more veins in the area around it any damage taken whilst it's affected will disappear
There's a 50% chance that victims will contract scp-691 personal illness that only exist form her anomalous ability called SCP 691-A or referred to as the poison. Is important to note that depending on her mental state the poison will spread around the item unless is a living thing then veins will spread across the entire body including internal but if the object is anatom it was spread around the item 2 cm. If it the SCP is stress this area will increase to 4m depending on the amount of trauma higher levels could spread around the entire item
Anything that is affected with the poison almost immediately will grow green veins all around the victims body these veins will cause the body to experience extreme pain this pain is on going to the point of causing madness and according to victims and reaches of victims anatomy and body during experience concludes that the victim has no relief not even for a second the pain is ongoing for exactly 62 hours the victim suffers mental anxiety pain and will try anything to stop the pain even if it means killed themselves although victims are unable to die during this state the mental and physical extreme pain causes extreme acts as destroying their heads on the walls to point that their heads are almost completely destroyed revealing blood bone and brain tissue they will rip out their own hearts with often skin and is screaming for anyone for the sake of help to usually begging for the paint to stop these States often leave the victim screaming in mental and physical pain non-stop for 62 hours observers has describe it as the most horrific thing that day have ever seen victims even after 62 hour Mark victims refer to there physically and 92% mentally state but experience symptoms similar to ptsd or pushed traumatic stress disorder and often have mild anxiety and depression depending on how strong either they will or ability to move on from experience is amnestic has failed to forget the experience due to anomalous effect by SCP 691 people are unable to forget it but interviews also chords to victim will not be driven to the point of suicide due to the experience afterwards SCP subject shows great distress when whenever somebody is affected with her poison and becomes agitated anyone who touches the green veins or object, the green veins will explode onto the person and the person will have the extreme urge to lick the green fluid that is secreted and anyone who consumes the fluid will suffer extreme cases of vomiting and diarrhoea in the same time for exactly 62 hours non-stop(it is also note that SCP- 691 does not like being called at and for now on will be referred to as Dizzy because that's her name and she likes being called that hey wait I don't write this Dizzy have you been in my files again) (Dizzy laughs) ha ha .
is also important to note that Dizzy doesn't need to touch victims to order to make them sick she can transfer her poison and any other illness to her desire for what seems to be pointing teleporting mist to her victims this can be avoided and she can only hit 2 victims at the time
She also has the ability to at will to cover her body in green veins, make her body glow or make it misty or make her hand misty. Touching the veins will have the same effect as touching object. Dizzy has the ability to transform into green mist this mist is unable to infect people with any disease including the poison otherwise known as SCP-A but is able to speak or touch or feel or even pick up any objects weril this form and usually only use it to go through doors that her mass is unable to fit through. The most anomalous thing about her is that she is immune to all SCP with a negative effectany SCP that usually to normal people will kill or violate in any other way including mentally control will ignore be scared or have no effect and act like either and normal object or a normal creature. Even when mobile task force are instructed to shoot her they are unable mentally and physically to shoot due to her anomalous ability it is concurred that nothing has the ability to directly harm or mentally harm or even have harmful intentions towards her anyone who tried are unable it also concluded that Dizzy is unable to sustain any damage whatsoever any damage done to her will leave absolutely zero effect on her and have zero signs of any damage tried to be done to her she is basically unable to be harmed in any way other than mentally indirectly or buy her own mental state it. Also seems that Dizzy herself is unable to age and all clothing and materials she is wearing doesn't seem to either or degraded. she is also unable to wear any other outfit other than the outfit she currently wearing due to green veins appearing on to any other clothing she touches technically she should be 88 because she was born in 1932 but she hasn't aged since 1950 she also seems to be immune to any negative effect in her virement if there's a strong gust of wind powerful enough to blow a man off its feet it will have no effect on her he doesn't even seem like he's in wind at all if she is putting two underwater for more than 3 hours she doesn't even get wet any water surrounding her will be infected with the green fluid of the poison and a water infected with the poison directly from dizzy hits a large body of water or any other forms of water or liquids it will quickly be transform into the poison and any creature touching it will have the same effect of wanting to lick it and suffer severe diarrhoea and vomiting. Anyone who knows or seen Dizzy will instantly know about her powers after 62 hours. The most dangerous thing though is when and angered to the point of extreme mental distress the green mist energy that is emitted when infecting people without needing to touch them will emit around her body creating a "vvvvvvv" noise this energy would then explode outwards of her in a form similar to that of an atomic bomb causing anything to be blown off and to be infected hundreds of people at one time by the "poison" Dizzy seems to have control of this stating that she can do this anytime she wants even demonstrating scaring hundreds of researchers before it's stopping at the last minute but she seems to have no control over its when under extreme mental stress
Is there for interviews with Dizzy should be handled with care to avoid extreme stress situations also noted that Dizzy herself has a very deep hatred to the foundation and refuses to work with the foundation in any means and refused cooperate would testing or xperimentations especially involving humans which makes work with her very hard with very little results and only will so if the sake of innocent civilians or any humans are under Risk if she doesn't but she will still refuse if even a human life is frightened by infecting the person who ordered those commands she also has an extreme hatred with Dr bright and the two should be kept separate Dr bright received hundreds illnesses including "her poison" on purpose due to pure anger and hatred

Mr. Parker.
Don't look so surprised, you have to have known this day was going to come eventually. One of your fellow boarders was kind enough to let me in. They won't be disturbing us, so please, sit down.
Let me make sure I have the right Jackson Parker.
55 years old. Born in Cleveland, Ohio. Multiple tours in Vietnam. Sentenced to death row for killing his wife’s lover. Date of execution May 19, 1979. Now a professional waiter at one of New York City's finest bistros. And…anyone ever tell you you look like Ernie Hudson? You know, the black Ghostbuster. Maybe I'm just thinking of him because the sequel's coming out in a couple of weeks. Whatever, forget it.
One thing they don't have in your file is your unshakable faith. You believe, in a way that so few others do, that everything happens for a reason.
I might feel the same way if I was one of the rare D-classes who have escaped termination. I have to say, you certainly earned this little life you've made for yourself here.
I saw the footage and the pictures from after the…event. I don't know if you ever had it fully explained to you what happened there. We learned that the creature you decommissioned was responsive to the beliefs of its viewers. One of our guys must have got it into his head that the thing was going to kill everybody. And because he thought that, it did.
Until it got to you, of course.
I know your exit survey was a little while ago, so to refresh your memory, the way you phrased it had to do with "falling back on your faith." You showed, in the face of this blood-drenched monstrosity, unwavering belief that you would make it out of there alive. And because you believed, it was true.
Listen…I'm sorry about what happened to you.
We used to be so callous. Hell, it was to the point of being stupid.
There may — or may not — be a thing that'll kill you if you blink in the same room as it. So far as we can tell, this thing also shits all over the place. Almost every time we sent some guys in to clean up its mess — snap! Their life's over, just like that. Only just built a robot that can do the cleaning a couple of years ago. It sickens me to think about all the men who never came out of that room, all because we didn't think of them as human. Just a letter and numbers.
But what we need you for, it can't be done by a machine. Look, I've been thinking about this a lot lately…there's something remarkable about the human heart. Don't you agree? No matter how much we want to give up or say "no" to life, the heart still beats. That's all it knows how to do. It keeps on beating: "yes-yes, yes-yes." It's admirable, something so resolute in its work.
And I know how you work, Mr. Parker. You know I'm here for a reason. And I think you know you're meant to do something that will save a lot of lives. If you do this for us — if you do this for me — we'll do everything in our power to make sure you get whatever you want for the rest of your days.
I think I can tell what that expression means.
Let me know when you're ready to go, D-14134.

Item #: SCP-1983
Object Class: Keter (Presumed Neutralized)
Special Containment Procedures: Outpost 54 has been built on the land surrounding SCP-1983 and disguised as a chemical plant. The "plant" building serves as barracks for MTF Chi-13 ("Choir Boys"). All entry points into Outpost 54 are to be guarded at all times. Personnel will review Document 1983-12, which details the cover story to be given to any civilians expressing curiosity.
All MTF personnel must profess strong religious beliefs, per Chi-13 protocols. All ammunition stocked must have a silver or silver-tipped projectile. A 24-hour watch is to be maintained on the front door of SCP-1983-1. Guards are to engage any instances of SCP-1983-2 on sight. No personnel is to approach within five meters of SCP-1983-1 outside of scheduled testing protocol.
UPDATE: Following the Event 1983-23, a stand-down of Outpost 54 has been authorized. A skeleton crew will remain to monitor SCP-1983 for any further activity. Arms intended for use against instances of SCP-1983-2 are to be maintained at Outpost 54 armory.
Description: SCP-1983-1 is a one-story farmhouse in ███████ County, Wyoming. It was abandoned in 1968 after a series of ritual murders, allegedly performed by a "Satanic" cult. Please see capture logs for SCP-████ for further details.
The front door of SCP-1983-1, when opened, appears to contain a spatial anomaly. Neither matter nor light has been observed to exit the doorway, save for instances of SCP-1983-2 (though the anomaly is exothermic).
SCP-1983-1 is accessible through other entrances, including windows, the back door, and entrances cut into the back of SCP-1983-1. However, the front room does not appear to exist inside of SCP-1983-1. Doors that should lead to the front room instead lead to other doors inside the building. Measurements of the inside and outside of SCP-1983-1 are inconsistent. Holes cut through the interior walls of SCP-1983-1 that should lead to the front room lead instead to the outside walls around the front of SCP-1983-1, but stop three meters on either side of the doorway. Attempts to drill into the front room of SCP-1983-1 from the outside have led to the exposure of smaller portions of the anomaly, though instances of SCP-1983-2 have not been observed to exit them. Further attempts to breach the wall have been forbidden by O5-03, due to the possibility of allowing increased potential for instances of SCP-1983-2 to appear.
SCP-1983-2 are bipedal creatures approximately 1.8 meters tall. They are vaguely humanoid, and entirely black in color. They are highly aggressive and will engage any human on sight. When an instance of SCP-1983-2 comes into contact with a human, they extend an upper limb into the human's chest cavity, without any apparent damage to skin or tissues. Through unknown means, they then extract the heart, killing the human. Once it has acquired a human heart, the instance of SCP-1983-2 will return to SCP-1983-1.
Silver munitions fired while offering prayer is the only known method of killing SCP-1983-2. The precise form of the prayer or religion of the supplicant does not appear to matter, so long as the prayer is sincere. Once killed, the bodies of SCP-1983-2 appear to "disintegrate," leaving a small layer of sulfur.
SCP-1983 was discovered after a series of mysterious deaths in the vicinity of ███████ County. Foundation investigators encountered instances of SCP-1983-2 and were able to trace them back to SCP-1983-1.
Addendum 1: A team from MTF Chi-13 was sent through the front doorway to attempt to investigate the anomaly. They did not return. However, shortly after they entered, the front door appeared, closing in the frame. No further manifestations of SCP-1983-2 appeared.
Addendum 2: A second assault team entered SCP-1983-1 to determine the fate of the first assault team. They did not return. The door did not close. Shortly after new manifestations of SCP-1983-2 appeared, Agent Morris entered the doorway, which closed shortly after.
Addendum 3: On May 23, 1989, D-14134 was given a closed circuit camera tethered to a monitor by a 25-meter cord. He was instructed to examine as much of the area as he could, and then attempt to return. Once through the doorway, feed from the camera was interrupted. The cord was pulled taut, and then snapped.
Several hours afterward, the anomaly in SCP-1983-1 disappeared. Inside, the desiccated remains of several agents were discovered, as well as Document 1983-15, an informal SCP report written by an agent within the anomaly. It appears as follows:
Item #: Pending
Object Class: Keter. God help you.
Special Containment Procedures: You're going to die, you poor dumb fuck.
This isn't a threat. I'm Agent Barclay. I'm in the middle of this goddamned thing, and I'm telling you, if you're here? You're going to die. I'm probably already dead.
So that's out of the way. Let's get to the containment procedures. There's really only one. Close the goddamned door. You aren't going to get back through there. You've probably already tried. But we know they can get out, if they try hard enough. That's how we found this fucking place. Hopefully, you've already done that. I know we did, once we gave up on getting out through there. If you didn't, then you go straight back and get that door closed. That is your only priority right now. You're going to die anyway. Might as well do some good before you're gone.
Description: So, here's a story, tell me if you've heard it before. The Foundation gets reports of trouble in Bumfuck, USA. Cattle and wildlife are dying mysteriously. Some people turn up missing. When a body shows up, autopsy finds the heart missing. Not cut out, not torn out, just gone. Empty space in the middle of the chest.
They find some sort of pitch-black things floating around. Some brain at the Foundation has seen something like them before, figures out how to kill them. Silver bullets, and pray to God as you fire. Literally. For some reason, that makes it work. Doesn't matter which God, but you damn well better mean it.
I can't, anymore. Not after seeing the nest.
Anyway, Foundation figures out where it's all coming from. Some house in the middle of Bumfuck. No one's lived there in years, not since yadda yadda, murder, cult, rituals, bullshit. The main thing is, these things keep appearing out of the front door. A team goes in, and they never come back out. But then again, neither do the monsters. A sane person would say, Good enough, keep an eye on it, kill anything that moves. But this is the Foundation.
You're a tough agent from MTF-Whatever-the-fuck. Maybe Sequere Nos, maybe Choir Boys, like me. You go bust down the door and run inside, and that's it. You're fucked.
The living room was bad enough. That's where they got O'Brien. They reached in, and suddenly he keeled over, and one of them took off with his heart in its… claws, I guess?
They're less distinct here. You probably noticed that. They're like shadows. Stay away from the light. I know that sounds stupid, but think about it. In the light, shadows are stronger. They have edges. When it's dark, they're indistinct. They can hardly touch you, and they don't see very well. I think they see by your shadow. I don't know. I'm just pulling at straws here, I'll be honest.
You've probably tried going back out the door, but if you haven't, don't. It leads to some place even worse. There aren't any monsters, but… Jones went too far from the house, and I swear to God, he started to melt. Things started popping out of him, and… All you need to know is he didn't make it back. That's when we closed the door.
So, we started moving through the house. We kept to the light at first, before we wised up. Three of us gone that way. But we got a pretty good picture of our surroundings.
This place? It's big. It's not just the farmhouse. It's like… It's like they stole bits and pieces of a lot of places, and stuck them all together. There's some bits that look like an apartment, some that look like a shopping mall, and even what I swear is a closet from my old high school. Same patterns on the tiles and everything.
There's also bits that are made out of… stuff. It's black, like the shadow-things, and it's mostly in the well-lit places. If the lights go out, you can stick your hand through. I don't recommend it. That's how we lost Torres. Something grabbed him, pulled him through. The hole wasn't big enough for his head, but he still went through, eventually.
So, stay away from the light places, but watch your step when it's dark.
Of course, there's no way out. We figured that out too. Any door you find, it either just leads to another room in this nuthouse, or it leads out there, and it's pretty obvious we can't live there. So it's wait until you starve to death or one of those things gets you. Great bunch of choices, huh?
There's one thing you can do. I couldn't go through with it, but maybe you can. It won't help you live, I don't think, but it's… I think it's important. I'm pretty sure someone's going to have to, or these things are going to get out eventually.
This place is stolen from lots of places. So I'm thinking there have to be other doors. We've closed all the ones we've found, but what if they get opened again? And the Foundation doesn't find them in time? Hell, they don't even know about closing the doors. I'm just hoping they figure out that if someone goes in, the things might stop getting out. And that's assuming everyone's smart enough to close the door after they come in.
So, I think I figured out a way to stop these things. It's the nest.
I only saw it once, for a few minutes. We followed one of the bastards after they got Denning's heart. It took it into a room that I guess is in the middle of this whole place. It's all black stuff, and they've dragged in every kind of light they could find, I guess. Lamps, flashlights, candles, you name it. Some of them were carrying more in as we watched. Anyway, at the middle, there's a big pile of hearts. Just tossed in a heap, and torn open, every one. They threw Denning's heart on the pile, and it started to beat, and then pulse, and then thrash around. Then it tore open, and one of those things pulled itself out. It shook itself, started to grow and then went right to work. The gross thing is that, torn apart as they were, the hearts kept beating. I swear I felt a twinge in my own chest.
There were shadows in the place. I don't mean the monsters, I mean real shadows, of people. Only there was no one there to cast them. They were coming from the hearts. A new one appeared at the same time as the hatching monster, and started trying to pull away, but it couldn't.
That was when I ran. I couldn't take it, you understand? I wasn't trained for this kind of shit. I heard the others behind me. I don't know if they were trying to stop me, or if the bastards had spotted us, but we got separated. I found a nice, dark closet, and I've been hiding in here ever since. I've been writing by penlight. I turn it off whenever I hear one of them getting close. It's worked, so far.
I can't go any further. I've got a few shots left in my gun, but I can't pray anymore, not and mean it. Not after I saw the nest. But you, if you've found this, you've got to be an agent too. Maybe you're stronger than I was. If you can, go in and destroy the nest. Destroy every last heart. If you do, maybe it'll kill them. It's the only thing I can think of. You'll probably die doing it, but you're dead anyway. So what's it matter to you how it happens?
Me, I'm going to try and get this report back to the living room, which I hope is where you found it. Then I'm going to make sure they can't use my heart to make another one of those things.
Good luck. Morituri te salutant.
SCP-1983 is presumed to have been neutralized by D-14134, who was posthumously awarded the Foundation Star (one of only two awarded to Class-D Personnel). Due to information contained in Document 1983-15, it is believed that the anomaly was not localized, as previously believed, and renewed resources have gone into attempting to locate similar incidents.

Chaos Insurgency Seminar: Foundations most dangerous to least dangerous.
By Venture
Hello everyone who is watching this video or hearing this audio recording, or reading this cause the power is out again. I am Venture, a commision runner for multiple groups of interest, but mostly known for my work with the Chaos Insurgency. I hope none of you were hoping to get to know how I am associated with multiple groups of interest or what my “job” actually is, that’s classified.
Anyways, I was asked to put together a sort of PSA for you, the new recruits for the Chaos Insurgency. Well first, congratulations on getting there. May god help you now. I suggest, if you haven’t already, to take bloody notes. I wish I did during my short run with the Insurgency, which you will all find out later why. Just trust me on that. Now with that out of the way, let us commence this PSA list of the deadliest to least deadliest people within the foundations. Mind this applies mostly to the american foundations, as they are my normal cases. I have hit up both a European and an Asia one before. NEVER again. Just trust me, foreign sites are weirdier due to culture differences. Anyways, back to the list.
First and foremost is the SCPs, so I don’t have to hear any of you smart asses out there asking about them. Seriously, you’ll get a seminar on them soon enough, if not already.
Second is surprisingly the Mobile Task Force and their respective divisions, who I view to be the true backbone of the foundation. Now I get there are fucken genuises who are foundation staff, but we are talking about the average joe going into certain death most of the fucken time. Newly found SCP, send the Mobile Task Force to get it. Containment breach, Send the Mobile Task Force to deal with it. Invader, secret agents, rogue staff members, D-class, the Mobile Task Force deals with it all and frankly; don’t get enough credit or thanks for it.
I have had my fair share of run-ins with these guys. Each one is different in their own right. Some talk to try defuse things, some just shoot, and others…. they give up sometimes because how their week has been going. Those last ones are the worst, especially when you kill them, as they are mostly the new guys. The defuser are the more harden people, who still got a bit of heart or a soul left. Those who shoot to kill are complicated. They are harden shells, bitter and hateful, but deep down they are still regular humans who had simply learned to turn off their self conscious to get some sleep. In truth, all Mobile Task Force members are hard to kill; not just because of their training, but because of their humanity. Unfortunately, they will be you most ran into enemy at all sites.
Third is the Foundation’s Ethics Committee , shocking right. Now if you are confused why this might be shocking; it because the Ethics Committee is view as a joke by most foundation staff and most groups of interest, but they are another huge part of the foundation’s backbone. These people actually suggest things to the O5 council and have some accounts on overturning some O5 councils orders. The suggested things have been noted to being actually done a lot. Rarely is a suggestion brushed aside according to the information I gathered. So laugh all you want, but remember they got serious power in their hands. Also Delta Command, if you want the documents I have, contact me later. I’ll send copies. Now back to the list.
Fourth is finally the mysterious O5 council which I actually don’t have much on. Seriously there is more black ink than words on these fucks. The overview of them, is they control what goes on in the foundation. They make the big calls, the hard calls and do a lot of shady shit and say it’s for the good of humanity. Judge that as you will. Most around here known I don’t share their full hatred for the foundation, cause sometimes they are right Delta Command….Now back to business
I don’t got much excepted little details about each one. I am focusing only on the ones that had multiple repeated things from different sites and things that matched past descriptions of them. First is that most of the O5 council are young people, not 15 to 20 year olds smart-mouths, but people that can still chase you down the the corridors without snapping in two kind of young. Second, O5-12 is the most prominent as they are said to lead the new “Red-Right Hand” Mobile Task Force and aren’t afraid to do some gruesome things in the name of humanity’s safety or better tomorrow. Third is that O5-7 you should watch out for hairpins, constant confusing death threats, and also teeth. I’ll let you figure that last one out yourselves. And both O5-1 and O5-5 are said to have bad ideas at all times, which are commonly denied … thankfully.
Fifth is the site directors, known as level 4s, and some level 3 and level 2 researchers. I won’t be going into specifics as you’ll get your orientation about these fucks in more details later on. What I will tell you is most of the these guys that fall into this category are people who have been at the foundation for over 10 years; some do fall under that mark, but their experience makes up for it. I will restate they are geniuses, but at this point they kind of lost it. I mean they get shit done and all, but sometimes it’s more of a miracle they haven’t died yet or caused a breach, if not both.
They are also like the Mobile Task Force, complicated. Difference is they are a lot less armed, but don’t let that fool you. They are still very dangerous, after all most have 10+ years of dealing with anamonities behind them. And some have proper training for attacks. Some tend to lead charges, others confuse then strike and some get others to safety while unafraid to get in your way. In my opinion with dealing them, looks are very deceiving, pay attention to any movement they make, and if your gut go run like hell from this person; fucken do it people. Fuck what command says, better to be alive to go back another day, than be dead or worse become D-class.
Sixth is the rest of the level 3s and 2s and the level 1s. This was actually a toss-up between the death row inmates which is commonly known as D-class and these fucks, but I decide to keep all the doctors together in the end. Anyways, they guys tend to be mostly new, or just not numb yet to the shit going down around them. These are the people you want to get your hands on if you need information/directions quickly or a hostage, which works only 45% of the time, by the way. Mobile task forces will shoot through low level staff since they can be easily replaced. They are also easier to corrupt if you are planning to use them long term or to get something down the road. So keep that in mind.
Seventh is death row inmates, and any caught traitors or groups of interest members. Yes, you heard me right. If you get caught or captured and don’t get killed instantly or during your interrogation, expect this to become your life; a living test rat. Hell, they might let you keep your memories as a form of torture or repeating wipe your memory like the majority of D-class get.
D-class really aren’t dangerous alone, but in groups they can be. A group of three has the potential to start a riot, but it never lasts long. After all, D-class are just throw away people so it will just become a quick termination ahead of time for everyone. Also D-class alone can pose a threat if they know what they are doing. I’m have had D-class aid me in some runs. You offer freedom, they’ll listen; but don’t boss them around please. Seriously these people love control and if you act like they got control, they’ll trust you more. Though don’t be afraid to ditch them when the going gets tough.
And that is all. I would take questions, but in my past years of doing so; they are either answered in other orientations or seminars or they are just smartass trying to get a rise out of me. So sorry, no questions and if they are not answered; bug Delta Command for me. Oh and Delta Command go fuck yourself for last run. You should of warned us about Clef. That is all.
This Venture, signing out, being shut off, and Fin to those reading. Good luck.

THE DIRTIEST DATA
TARGET FOR TORTURE
A TRUE ACCOUNT OF
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIM
September 2020
Contributor: Jana Daniel
Grassroots Guardians of Truth
UPROOT a DV Movement
The goal was to torture me through my own account that way no trace.. I did it to myself because I'm insane. Covert ops in a time where technology is impressive but vulnerable to data corruptions and lack of understanding especially in the legal arena where a firm understanding is needed the most. I was researching and running pilot programs to discover ways to truly keep women who make it out safe without cutting them off from society. This experience has proven that I'm a textbook case with tenure. Everything happens for a reason and my advocacy and philanthropy pursuits are far from over. The following is a percent of what occured and what I saw, technology throughputs allowed manipulative imagery and allowed changes to text photos before sent. The need is abundant whether we are ready or not.
Amazing what a year can do. I've learned an excessive amount of information now that I've acclimated to the happenings. By now, everyone has heard of predictive text and I'm sure it comes in handy. However, my experience was quite different. The global keyboard uploaded without my prompt, by a second individual who accessed my account on a seperate device and through the Google Play Store selected and downloaded the app. As my phone updated around 3 am the keyboard app uploaded and would change automatically while typing. I write a lot, so this became problematic and prevented me from continuing my endeavors until a solution is found. It would be another 7 months little did I know, before my life was my own again. A virtual kidnapping essentially the best way to describe this systematic, continual abuse and crime against a person. It's killing me faster than the physical abuse because I couldn't identify the perpetrators.
Deep-thinking and clear understanding of what is occuring and where protections and oversight will be needed. Automated decision making isn't a human function and nor what we're accustomed to. In less than a year due to the reality that someone or something is communicating data to me, i began to rely on the predictive guideline set before me just as an officer would be able to predictively policy enforce. But that in fact is exactly the point, there is a violation of human, civil, and individual rights to not be infringed upon. For my own pursuits in life I try to maintain a secure system and in doing so through my ordinary course of business I conduct certain procedures. One being, data mining, another being continued education, pilot programs when available, etc. I had experienced a different breach around December and I began seeking the identity of the criminal.
Initially, unsupervised or monitored only, (permission not given for either) coded script played out on my screen. After I reported, the game changed. Suddenly, an advasarial context is all that I'm receiving and I'm suddenly the victim of targeted surveillance that I'm very well aware of. Let's face it, you normally wouldn't know that you are being placed under surveillance. I now know that this in fact was, an example of Deep learning of general advasarial Neuro network a GAN with a generator and a discriminator being put against each other. Understanding that what your brain fires on it wires on as well. They fed the deepfake scenarios to me each with enough truth or probability that I had no choice but to seek the remaining info that they failed to disclose and that is described as (mask) words. It took a lot of time initially but I became more efficient as I continued to learn.
As protected individuals by order of a domestic violence protective order, to have the Thomas Co Sheriff Dept. And the Pelham PD testing my ability to decipher the information, realizing that I see what is happening and being further disrespected and even asked to park and contact an ambulance to let them know that I need help finding the right person, who at the time someone was insinuating that my deceased father was alive. The cops didn't even investigate.. couldn't get more obvious they violated my constitutional rights and mine and my children's rights as victims of DV. My children, by the way, utilize the phone as well, the constant changes to the screen and location of the apps was noticed first by my son. No matter what I did they had control of the content in the phone. Using face recognition to identify if I'm telling the truth and constantly surveilling me. My vehicle too, equiped to note my every move. Taunted by my home devices such as the ring light that would switch off when I needed the lights on. I haven't had moment's peace since the leave. I'm to blame according to the Sheriff Dept. Odd doesn't seem reasonable but okay, I have to use the healing process to investigate.
I wish I could say that is where it ended, far from it actually. Social engineered to stop trusting in everything, creating discord with people I'd just began to connect with after years of isolation. Then in state of grieving the loss only father, vulnerabilities exploited, cognitive dissonance attempted to create an unstable demeanor because who could possibly explain that cards- Google search pages- are leading to videos that contain AI image alterations so that what you see is familiar. Someone was available twenty four hours a day and when I wasn't seeking the information, someone was threatening me predictively and also implemented sounds that at first I didn't distinguish as just sounds. This would occur throughout the night sometimes. I honestly believed that we were in danger. I fell from the healthy state that I had just had a glimpse of into a sickened, deregulated state that would continue for months. Words uncommonly used by myself such as Tactically, vie, omniscient, etc. would flash and storyline would clearly be laid before me. Other tactics were used such as Fuzzing, quasi-imperceptible, emotional extortion at it's finest. It will be blamed on AI technology, but they failed to understand the identifying bits of info that I detected and categorized chronologically and per device or paper that they derived from.
I will be blamed for not seeing my children who were removed due to DV. I'll take the blame because it was a decision I was able to make due to the fact that I was being encouraged to have all four of the children together in order to get the money. Seemed like a ploy so I went alone to Rundown the people who had become increasingly more than I expected. Conspirators, bribe takers, and there's us… Collateral damage. It seemed to have turned into a game where death was the intent. I held on because I knew that someone has been made aware and I had reported to different agencies and to my trusted friends. Time lingered, and three months became six and suddenly they were threatening to arrest someone else. Realizing that they've violated our rights and worked diligently to destroy the security that I had worked so hard to establish after escaping DV with the belongings in my vehicle. They still were far from done. I had been forced to live without AC and the plumbing problematic after an attempted repair by the landlord left my room flooded. The Corona Pandemic began the same time, also the first and last time that my spouse had paid child support. After three months, they came to collect the rent. It now June, I demanded the air be fixed to no avail. I then had all repairs done myself. I spoke with him expecting a negotiation and then received an eviction notice. Upon filing a response and counterclaim, I was ordered an extra month rent above the amount petitioned for… I received no credit for the repairs that I had just had made, and I had seven days to vacate. I did not mention that the entire three months of No child support, no AC, no response from the landlord, that I had been receiving predictive context stating… “We built a prison just for you” forced to sleep with our windows open, remain outside during the day.. in a matter of no time, our happy home had become our misery. I offered the landlord the full judgement amount cash in hand, he denied to take it , he said he prefered that I move out. I didn't get my appeal in because I had confirmed that our family land has been sold under the premise of an invalid will and just as ten years before, heritage stolen from us all. Seven days came quickly and I didn't have but one who I still trusted at that point. I was granted a couple days and demeaned in the process. On that last day I left with my children who were unaware that we no longer has a home. We hadn't enjoyed any of the summer so I took my children on what they knew as a vacation. I was a nervous wreck managing them and their little hands, don't touch, don't breath, the virus! As I searched for options within my budget and tried to predict the next time that he networks and deprives. I decided that I will use the land that I own and homestead. No one can ever put us in that situation again. Now how can I make this work? I haven't built the house yet due to the lengthy divorce and the other intentionally created variables. Without revealing everything, I made it work and the house will be built soon.
After all of that, if it were a LAN network and the neighborhood and city were to blame then it's over… The worst has yet to come. My lawyer dropped the ball, so there was no contempt hearing, meaning no support from the abusive spouse. The final divorce scheduled for Monday August 24th. On Thursday prior, I advised my attorney that I wasn't a lamb being led to slaughter and neither are my children. I am not impressed with her demeanor seemingly in defense of the opposing side and reiterated that she needs to advise me of what the correspondence is rather than knowing everything they're saying and leaving me in the dark. She said that was mailing a check for $1500 of the $5k he owes. I explained how I intended on explaining everything to the judge with physical example of two clean devices in which he could type a sentence structure and I across the room could in fact with acceptable accuracy through mining relay his message… I was placed on hold, then she was going to return my call. I received an email the next day stating the hearing had been cancelled. I guess I was close enough to cause cleanup on DiVorce-20. I couldn't make up the incompetcy if I tried… it's been over a year and she let my protective order expire when she let the scheduling fail the kids and I. She's knowingly prolonged everything working an agenda.
Meanwhile, I'm mining data, and see threatening communications about my mother being the price that I will pay. For two days and there was even a signature of 4umud:\3 I had seen threatening messages all the while through, they wanted me to harm myself, so I didn't realize the gravity of the situation until the morning of August 27th, when they told me she had passed away. I am trying to hold it together, my heart is broken into pieces. In the last year and a half I lost my father, escaped DV so I thought, pandemic, bought a household full of furniture, got evicted after being tormented, burned most if the furniture that I had bought just a year ago, and then have to accept my mother's passing after being told of it prior to. How? I write sometimes into the night… Only to wake up and see everything has been deleted or modified to look like jibberish.
The plan was to make me appear alone and unstable. Then with a signature they could get the rest of what I have. The Underwoods made everyone think that I had a big check, that's so they would attack me and funny how I said to him.. your plan isn't going to work… He said they have a new one and the two days before my mom died he didn't call.. he has and did call every single day but those two days. So no, I don't believe that anyone has been here to help there is no reason that I could. The full story would take forever to explain a hundred different things … Deep learning of how sick these people are. That statement is inclusive of some judges, some lawyers, some landowner, some banker, some ex's, some banker, and some evils.
Regarding the factual basis for my findings… an advasarial context targeted at DV Victim and At some point to gain a new level of trust an observer weighed in - ALL CAPS- it appeared to be but this is stalking and Harassment using the same protocol as a guideline. Being that I worked for the Baldwin's and the quantity of equipment, servers, and technology couples with security… I'd say that BYOD could have easily attached to any device that I've had especially if someone made the mistake of hacking the email that I had as a corporate address. Quasi-imperceptible as everything in convulsion is nearly impossible to figure out. Casual reasoning nearly out the window now that I've used the Ai tech inappropriately due to the advasarial context intended to disrupt and destabilize.
Disquis was an app that he or someone loaded to my account and I did go back and test most of the apps I saw because I needed to know what info was obtained and how to prevent in the future. Red team, that's me. ResGN to reinforce the learning and GPT-2 is quickly being replaced by GPT-3 a natural language system that whether forward or back will remember the context of the usage of the specific word. Cryptography circles implemented initially to create a trustless environment. Deepfake tech that I've lived for ten years without the fancy assigned label's. Ultimately the same as always… Doubt your reality and make sure everyone doubts your capabilities because how else can they suck the soul out if you. If you see me and don't recognize me… Know it's because he is wearing my reflection… If I take it back he is the one who looks like an empty shell. I am not empty.. I have a flicker.
I hope this helps you understand that I'm capable of handling the delivery of proof and facts that will assist others to understand that this is a very sophisticated form of technology and weaponry all the same when abused and causes one to harm another or one to harm themselves then I'd say the prosecution rate will increase significantly. Once recognized for the heinous malfunctioned personality that takes the time and devotion to harm another in such a way that is worth what I just endured teaching myself because the law and legal representation failed to do anything to help ... Oh except drop the contempt, postpone the final, and my protective order expired too.

The Reports.
PLEASE NOTE- I only wrote ONE of these! 🅱 wrote the rest, and I think the change in style might be enough to signify which is mine. If not, I wrote the report specifically stated to be by Henrik Von Schneeplestein on SCP 3025, every other report is the work of 🅱 who is amazing. Also note- more of these will be put out in the future!
Report on containment breach of SCP-3009, AKA Google IRL By: Dr. Matthew Patrick The entity was found absent from its containment unit three days ago. The door mechanism seems to have been opened from the outside with a standard key card, but the recording systems in its cell seems to have malfunctioned. SCP-3009 has not been found, despite strike teams [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] having searched tirelessly for it. They have given up the search, but have tripled security. Dr. Patrick, What the fuck did you do. -Dr. Nelson Dr. Nelson, I have no idea what you're talking about. -Dr. Patrick Dr. Patrick, The tech upgrade? Google escaping? What the fuck did you do, Matthew!!?! -Dr. Nelson Dr. Nelson, I've done nothing. Nothing you can prove, at least. -Dr. Patrick. Dr. Patrick. Go in for a psyche eval. You need it. -Dr. Nelson
Update on SCP-3002 By: Dr. Henrik Von Schneeplestein SCP-3002 has shown no sign of moving from the corner of its containment unit. Muzzles have proven ineffective to silence it. It is imperative that all staff tending to SCP-3002 wear earplugs and noise canceling headphones. SCP-3002 seems to feed off of life force, completely draining anything of any life. Subjects are usually found slumped over, as if sleeping. SCP-3002 has been supplied with D-Class personnel, but cows and sheep have proven to be a decent substation. It talks while feeding, explaining its situation. It seems to believe it's trading information for food. In several of its feedings, it has mentioned ‘Wilford Warfstache’, the alter ego of SCP-3014. It referred to SCP-3014 as ‘my love’ or ‘my darling’. SCP-3002 also insists its name is Dark. One peculiar detail, however, is that despite being outrageously powerful, it still suffers from what seems to be anxiety. It gets nervous and has been observed to have panic attacks after many tests by Dr. Nelson. Request to perform more tests upon SCP-3002 to attempt to find out what it is truly is.
Update on SCP-3014 experiments By: Dr. Nelson SCP-3014 shows no signs of shifting forms, unlike most humanoids of the same type. It responds to stimuli such as electric shock and chemical injections in a very human-like fashion, flinching and even crying out in pain, sometimes clawing at its own skin. However, it is inconclusive whether or not it actually feels pain. SCP-3014’s human façade has yet to fade, but Dr. Patrick suspects that it is close to giving up. Another suicide attempt was recorded. SCP-3014 seems to have used a [REDACTED] and a [REDACTED] to try to end its own life. Dr. Patrick was particularly interested about that very human like response to the past tests, including [DATA EXPUNGED]. Although it is very concerning for this to happen, Dr. Patrick insists to continue testing. Reports state SCP-3014 has been rambling about SCP-3002, which calls itself Dark. The amount of human traits SCP-3014 could possibly be picking up is disturbing. Request to fully isolate SCP-3014. Tests upon SCP-3014 are to be postponed indefinitely.
Report pertaining to the condition of SCP-3013 By: Dr. Amy Nelson SCP-3013 has begun pacing around the room and scratching at the walls. It has attempted to talk through the muzzle or break the lock of the muzzle by banging it on the walls. I'm uncertain if it has gotten anywhere with this, but padding on the walls could stop this. Despite the muzzle, SCP-3013 will not stop attempting to communicate, grunting and screaming and kicking at the ground. No experiments involving the entities power have yet to be run due to potential property damage and loss of life. Request to move SCP-3013’s class from Euclid to Keter
A short report on the dietary habits of SCP-3038 By: Dr. Patrick I have continued to supply SCP-3038 with human corpses to consume, and I have begun to notice the entity has almost a ritualistic way of eating them. This is not for the faint of heart. Firstly, it claws at whatever open wounds there maybe, soaking its hands in the blood. If there are no open wounds, it’ll make one. Then, it’ll lick the blood off its hands and wait. Next, SCP-3038 will widen the would and work at eating the skin around the area. After eating most of the skin, it will make quick work of the muscles, but will dispose of the fat. At this time, it will most likely be covered in blood. Occasionally, I see it suck at it's sleeves, attempting to get the blood out of it. Anyways, then it starts with the organs. Usually, it starts with the digestive organs, eating those rather quickly. However, I've never seen it eat a stomach without first squeezing out the acid. I'll admit, it's pretty damn clever. The lungs, pancreas and kidneys are soon to follow, then the eyes. It doesn't eat the brain. Lastly, it eats the heart and finishes off the remains of the body, even cracking open bones to suck out the marrow. It seems to not mind being covered in blood, but will try to lick it off. I once poisoned a corpse before giving it to him. He simply sniffed it and rejected it. I was so impressed I was compelled to give him the bag of Gummi worms I had in my lunch box. I did, and he liked them very much. SCP-3038s powers seem to increase after each corpse. On the first day when he was contained, he was barely able to lift a cup off a table. Today's test concluded with Bim levitating the two of us off the ground. He helped me keep my balance in the air by grabbing my hands. It was strangely romantic, floating through the air with him, especially with the way he was looking at me. His hands were warm. Sure they were covered in blood, but they were warm. That aside, the increase of power is concerning, but also fascinating! I've had lunch with him once or twice, and let me tell you, it's a weird experience to be eating a sandwich and a Diet Coke while seated across someone tearing chunks away from a human heart. Either way, the effects of Bim consuming human flesh is fascinating. I wish to find more about this.
A small report pertaining to the emotional stability of SCP-3014 By: Dr. Nelson The past test on SCP-3014 have led to another suicide attempt. All tests are to be terminated. Dr. Patrick theorizes that SCP-3014 is a mimic, not capable of experiencing human emotion but expressing it to fit in. After talking to this SCP, I've begun to second guess this theory. SCP-3014 could quite possibly be human, or at least be capable of experiencing emotion. Request to Psychoanalyse SCP-3014
Report on SCP-3013 By: Dr. Henrik Von Schneeplestein Yesterday I observed SCP-3013’s eyes, or lack thereof. It seemed fearful when I removed the bandages, but didn't move. The eye cavities were filled with golden dust, which, upon lab analysis, was actual gold. Upon examining the sockets more thoroughly, it grunted. At this point, small flecks of what appeared to be more gold substance, blood, and purple light poured out of its eyes. Located in the back of the eye socket, there was a small, shiny looking organ of some sort. Any attempt to examine these organs result in SCP-3013 screaming behind its muzzle and more blood pouring from the sockets. An attempt to sedate and observe the organs resulted in SCP-3013 waking up and [REDACTED], grabbing a scalpel from the surgeon and [REDACTED] before going on to [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] before finally [DATA EXPUNGED] The seven corpses have been disposed of. Request to never try again.
Report on SCP-3022 By: Dr. Nelson It is not containable. It's teleportation is far too strong. The entity has escaped any sort of containment put under, even when sedated. It doesn't seem volatile or malevolent, and is more of a nuisance than anything. It calls itself Chase Brody and insists to have an Ex wife and two ‘beautiful’ children despite no records of these people existing being found.
An update on SCP-3025 By: Dr. Schneeplestein SCP-3025 has continued to ask about ‘The Host.’ While it is unknown who this person is, it is quite possible they are a lover of his. Another surprising detail occurred during a general exam. Upon talking to myself in German, SCP-3025 instantly responded in that language, commenting on having not heard the language being spoken in a long time. Weather this another anomalous quality of SCP-3025 or if it just knows the language, it was quite shocking to hear it speak in my mother language. The ‘Doctor’ might have more to him than healing and spite.
Report on SCP 3025 by Dr. Henrik Von Schneeplestein SCP 3025 has shown considerable personality growth in its stay with us. Upon first greeting this SCP I was met with a being that was confused and afraid, and just wanted out. As time continued on, 3025 grew bitter and spiteful. While the SCP is oddly always more than willing to provide our staff with medical help, it is clear it is not fond of us. Upon making an offhand comment about the carnage SCP 3013 had caused predating the muzzle, 3025 grew angry and asked if 3013 had any freedoms at all. Upon being informed we could not afford to provide such freedoms 3025 became increasingly agitated to the point I feared for the well being of the entity speaking. Aside from one incident involving overgrowth of skin on all areas of the face, 3025 has proven to be remarkably non-hostile for someone who is apparently so angry. It insists it be called "doctor" and while some humor it I refuse to. SCP 3025 is extremely unhappy in my presence, but was still content to heal my shattered arm last week. Odd to have a bleeding heart in this facility for once rather than a monster. I almost feel... Sympathetic. Still, I can't help but wonder if this... "Doctor" is planning something. His talents are remarkable, so much could be done. Time will tell how much this being understands its own abilities.
Special report on SCP-3014 By: Dr. Nelson SCP-3014s condition has improved after Dr. Patrick's removal from the project. It has started to walk again, and has resumed its normal fidgeting, twiddling with its mustache and even trying to brush its hair. During a routine check, SCP-3022, also known as Chase Brody, played some music over the intercom. SCP-3014 perked up instantly at that, and started dancing. Most of its movements were ungraceful and spastic, except for when Chase played a waltz. It danced perfectly, arms out as if actually waltzing. All it needed was a partner. Request to look more into the effect of music on SCP-3014

Project Blackwing
I thought because we wont be getting a second season until October, we could do some theorizing about the clues and pieces Max has left with us this season. And we have a lot of stuff to work with. This is going to be based around Project Blackwing and some of the things I’ve been digging up. (this is mostly speculation but just bear with me here)
SPOILER WARNING FOR ANYONE WHO HAS NOT YET WATCHED THE ENTIRETY OF DIRK GENTLY’S HOLISTIC DETECTIVE AGENCY SEASON 1
Okay so, I figured an easy start would be to look through some of the case names that have been assigned to the different projects/people.
We see these subjects identified by a symbol and a name from either some ancient mythology or tale. In this image, we see some symbols followed by names of Blackwing subjects.
I personally don’t have the time (or the intelligence lmao) to go through each one, but I can talk about 3 subjects that are present in almost every episode.
First we have Icarus. Obviously we all know Icarus and the whole flew too close to the sun ordeal.
Daedalus fashioned two pairs of wings out of wax and feathers for himself and his son. Daedalus tried his wings first, but before trying to escape the island, he warned his son not to fly too close to the sun, nor too close to the sea, but to follow his path of flight. Overcome by the giddiness that flying lent him, Icarus soared into the sky, but in the process he came too close to the sun, which due to the heat melted the wax. Icarus kept flapping his wings but soon realized that he had no feathers left and that he was only flapping his bare arms, and so Icarus fell into the sea in the area which today bears his name, the Icarian Sea near Icaria, an island southwest of Samos.[3][4][5] (from the wiki article on Icarus)
This hasn’t been presented in the show yet but I found it may be important anyways (so spoilers for anyone not wanting to get any information outside of the show). I was reading one of the comics (Salmon of Doubt issue 1 I believe??) way back when and stumbled across a few panels where Dirk (as a child) was being tested on in some military base. He was being tested on about some supernatural future vision powers n such. At one point in the comic there was a panel with several scrapped pieces of paper lying around his cell. The papers read 9/11 and you could see newspapers and videos of the attack on the world trade center. So when Dirk was a child, he predicted 9/11, nothing about the day, just the date. What I found very significant about these scenes was the guard or whoever it was watching him. He seemed more of a guardian to Dirk than some military agent.
Remember when the official twitter page tweeted this out?
This is a very similar scene to that shown in the comic. This depicts Dirk (or Svlad at the time) in a small conference room or s room of the sort with Col. Scott Riggins and another character whom I either don’t recognize or has yet to be introduced
Now for the Icarus part, and this is mostly speculation (as I have yet to read the other comics/the books) but I do believe that Col. Scott Riggins is the Daedalus of the story. We have seen him be very hesitant with Dirk in the episodes where they interact. When he encounters Dirk in the stairwell, Hugo is the one who tackles Dirk, Col. Riggins doesn’t wish to harm Dirk. This is just my prediction, but I believe after working with Dirk for a long period of time and trying to help him harness his abilities, he becomes attached to Dirk and may do something dangerous to help Dirk escape or anything of the sort.
This is unrelated but in this scene, Col. Riggins asks “Where’s General Kinsey?” the woman here simply states “You don’t report to him anymore you report to me. I’m Wilson.” Perhaps Kinsey was the man in the images from the interrogation scene with Dirk and Col. Riggins.
And in this same scene, Wilson states “your research was inconclusive and without definable results” “mistakes were made, and worse is that you have failed to keep the subjects contained and recover them from the initial breach.” “Now we have potentially dangerous individuals at large. Over 30 of them.” This alludes to something larger, a breach in the system over 15 years ago allowing these subjects to escape. The fact that Col. Riggins says “and currently we only have budget to surveil one” may mean that the government has been trying to end this program or sabotage it in some way. Without supplying a proper budget, they can only keep there eyes on Icarus. “The fact is ma’am there’s a reason tried to bring in suspects after 15 years. They cannot be contained.” She also states that if these subjects are not brought back in that they will be eliminated. If they are yet to be eliminated over the past 15 years, could this mean they have some significance to be used or needed by the government? This I am currently unsure of but I could love any insight others can offer me.
Next we have Incubus, or The Rowdy 3.
This one definitely stumped me, as at first I couldn’t seem to make a clear connection between the mythology and the subjects associated with it.
An incubus is a Lilin-demon in male form who, according to mythological and legendary traditions, lies upon women in order to engage in sexual activity with them. Its female counterpart is a succubus. Salacious tales of incubi and succubi have been told for many centuries in traditional societies, and in Christian mythology, such as Genesis 6:4. Some traditions hold that repeated sexual activity with an incubus or succubus may result in the deterioration of health, or even death.[1] (from the wiki article on Incubus demons)
The Rowdy 3 appear to be more like vampires that feed on emotion or that weird blue stuff that comes from Dirk and Amanda. (I’ve also done some theorizing about what that stuff may be, but that’s for another time). One connection I could make is how after they “feed” off of Dirk, he seems to be very disoriented. It seems to affect him more negatively than Amanda. I have no other ideas about this one but if anybody has any ideas let me know!!
And finally, we have Marzanna or Bart Curlish, this one I found the most interesting (and I’m going off of the assumption that the government may not be tracking Ken as of yet, however, I could be wrong as he is hacking some powerplant in episode 1)
Marzanna's name most likely comes from the Proto-Indo-European root *mar-, *mor-, signifying death.[2] The Slovak form of the theonym – Ma(r)muriena – suggests that the goddess may have originally been connected to the Roman god of war Mars (known under a variety of names, including Marmor, Mamers and Mamurius Veturius).[2] The connection to Mars is supported by, among others, Vyacheslav Ivanov and Vladimir Toporov, who underline that he was originally an agricultural deity.[3]
Other theories claim her name is derived from the same Indo-European root as Latin mors 'death' and Russian mor 'pestilence'. Some authors also likened her to mare, an evil spirit in Germanic and Slavic folklore, associated with nightmares and sleep paralysis. In Belarusian, Polish, Ukrainian and in some Russian dialects the word 'mara' means 'phantom', 'vision', 'hallucination'.[4]
Similar to burning witches in some European countries or Holika Dahan in India, in terms of the season when its celebrated - at the end of winter, start of spring - and the evil character involved. (from the wiki article on Marzanna)
Marzanna I believe is kind of like a “death goddess”, which ties in perfectly with her character being a holistic assassin. However, Marzanna is just used to represent the effigy of the goddess, or the sculpture of her and not the actual goddess.
Just from reading this, I couldn’t find any other connection, we haven’t gotten much backstory on Bart other than that she basically can’t die and has little idea about what our day and age is like
What I did find in that article that could make a connection is this:
It concerns the "drowning of Marzanna," a large figure of a woman made from various rags and bits of clothing which is thrown into a river on the first day of the spring calendar. Along the way, she is dipped into every puddle and pond ... Very often she is burned along with herbs before being drowned and a twin custom is to decorate a pine tree with flowers and colored baubles to be carried through the village by the girls. There are of course many superstitions associated with the ceremony: you can't touch Marzanna once she's in the water, you can't look back at her, and if you fall on your way home you're in big trouble. One, or a combination of any of these can bring the usual dose of sickness and plague.
The ritual is preformed to show an end to the dark days of winter and to welcome spring and rebirth. Like the celebration says, we do see in Bart’s character how she is dressed in mostly rags and appears to be very dirty and worn out.
That’s really all I have time for but if anyone has any other ideas don’t be afraid to add on!

IBM Study: Security Response Planning on the Rise, But Containing Attacks Remains an Issue
IBM Study: Security Response Planning on the Rise, But Containing Attacks Remains an Issue
Global Survey Finds Use of More Than 50 Security Tools Leads to Less-Effective Security Response · Majority of Organizations Don’t Have Specific Plans for Common and Emerging Attacks India, Bengaluru, June 30, 2020 — IBM (NYSE: IBM) Security today announced the results of a global report examining businesses’ effectiveness in preparing for and responding to cyberattacks. While organizations surveyed have slowly improved in their ability to plan for, detect and respond to cyberattacks over the past five years, their ability to contain an attack has declined by 13% during this same period. The global survey conducted by Ponemon Institute and sponsored by IBM Security found that respondents’ security response efforts were hindered by the use of too many security tools, as well as a lack of specific playbooks for common attack types.
While security response planning is slowly improving, the vast majority of organizations surveyed (74%) are still reporting that their plans are either ad-hoc, applied inconsistently, or that they have no plans at all. This lack of planning can impact the cost of security incidents, as companies that have incident response teams and extensively test their incident response plans spend an average of $1.2 million less on data breaches than those who have both of these cost-saving factors in place. IBM Security and Ponemon Institute: 2019 Cost of a Data Breach Report
The key findings of those surveyed from the fifth annual Cyber Resilient Organization Report include: · Slowly Improving: More surveyed organizations have adopted formal, enterprise-wide security response plans over the past 5 years of the study; growing from 18% of respondents in 2015, to 26% in this year’s report (a 44% improvement). · Playbooks Needed: Even amongst those with a formal security response plan, only one third (representing 17% of total respondents) had also developed specific playbooks for common attack types — and plans for emerging attack methods like ransomware lagged even further behind. · Complexity Hinders Response: The amount of security tools that an organization was using had a negative impact across multiple categories of the threat lifecycle amongst those surveyed. Organizations using 50+ security tools ranked themselves 8% lower in their ability to detect, and 7% lower in their ability to respond to an attack, than those respondents with less tools. · Better Planning, Less Disruption: Companies with formal security response plans applied across the business were less likely to experience significant disruption as the result of a cyberattack. Over the past two years, only 39% of these companies experienced a disruptive security incident, compared to 62% of those with less formal or consistent plans.

While more organizations are taking incident response planning seriously, preparing for cyberattacks isn’t a one and done activity,” said Wendi Whitmore, Vice President of IBM X-Force Threat Intelligence. “Organizations must also focus on testing, practicing and reassessing their response plans regularly. Leveraging interoperable technologies and automation can also help overcome complexity challenges and speed the time it takes to contain an incident.”
Vikas Arora, VP, IBM Cloud & Cognitive Software & Services, IBM India and South Asia, said, “While Indian organizations have shown improvement in terms of their cyber resiliency by hiring skilled professionals and overall planning, there needs to be a lot more done to manage the dynamic cybersecurity landscape. Organizations need to look at testing their cybersecurity incident response plan regularly and leverage technologies like Automation, Cloud, AI, and interoperable solutions to help sail through any unforeseen situation.”
Updating Playbooks for Emerging Threats The survey found that even amongst organizations with a formal cybersecurity incident response plan (CSIRP), only 33% had playbooks in place for specific types of attacks. Since different breeds of attack require unique response techniques, having pre-defined playbooks provides organizations with consistent and repeatable action plans for the most common attacks they are likely to face.
Amongst the minority of responding organizations who do have attack-specific playbooks, the most common playbooks are for DDoS attacks (64%) and malware (57%). While these methods have historically been top issues for the enterprise, additional attack methods such as ransomware are on the rise. While ransomware attacks have spiked nearly 70% in recent years, IBM Security, 2020 X-Force Threat Intelligence Index, (2020), p. 15 only 45% of those in the survey using playbooks had designated plans for ransomware attacks.
Additionally, more than half (52%) of those with security response plans said they have never reviewed or have no set time period for reviewing or testing those plans. With business operations changing rapidly due to an increasingly remote workforce, and new attack techniques constantly being introduced, this data suggests that surveyed businesses may be relying on outdated response plans which don’t reflect the current threat and business landscape.
More Tools Led to Worse Response Capabilities The report also found that complexity is negatively impacting incident response capabilities. Those surveyed estimated their organization was using more than 45 different security tools on average, and that each incident they responded to required coordination across around 19 tools on average. However, the study also found that an over-abundance of tools may actually hinder organizations ability to handle attacks. In the survey, those using more than 50 tools ranked themselves 8% lower in their ability to detect an attack (5.83/10 vs. 6.66/10), and around 7% lower when it comes to responding to an attack (5.95/10 vs. 6.72/10).
These findings suggest that adopting more tools didn’t necessarily improve security response efforts — in fact, it may have done the opposite. The use of open, interoperable platforms as well as automation technologies can help reduce the complexity of responding across disconnected tools. Amongst high-performing organizations in the report, 63% said the use of interoperable tools helped them improve their response to cyberattacks.
Better Planning Pays Off This year’s report suggests that surveyed organizations who invested in formal planning were more successful in responding to incidents. Amongst respondents with a CSIRP applied consistently across the business, only 39% experienced an incident that resulted in a significant disruption to the organization within the past two years compared to 62% of those who didn’t have a formal plan in place.
Looking at specific reasons that these organizations cited for their ability to respond to attacks, security workforce skills were found to be a top factor. 61% of those surveyed attributed hiring skilled employees as a top reason for becoming more resilient; amongst those who said their resiliency did not improve, 41% cited the lack of skilled employees as the top reason.
Technology was another differentiator that helped organizations in the report become more cyber resilient, especially when it comes to tools that helped them resolve complexity. Looking at organizations with higher levels of cyber resilience, the top two factors cited for improving their level of cyber resilience were visibility into applications and data (57% selecting) and automation tools (55% selecting). Overall, the data suggests that surveyed organizations that were more mature in their response preparedness relied more heavily on technology innovations to become more resilient.

Research Ethics in a Health Crisis
Are ethics and scientific integrity a luxury that can be foregone in a situation as critical as the current pandemic? Jean-Gabriel Ganascia, the chairman of the CNRS Ethics Committee (COMETS), addresses the question in this analysis.
There is no need here to explain the context, given the deluge of comment in the media about the major health crisis that we are facing today. Nor is there any use in emphasising the crucial role played by scientists, including doctors, biologists, modelling specialists and sociologists. Without their invaluable assistance, decision-makers would be unable to develop a realistic policy.
However, does the urgency of the situation justify, for the sake of pragmatism, suspending the rules of research ethics and accepted scientific procedures? The question deserves careful consideration, especially as new developments increase the pressure. On the one hand, the need to advance as quickly as possible, without being hindered by accessory considerations, could be seen as a reason to bypass certain rules on an exceptional basis. On the other hand, the scientist’s unconditional quest for truth and the principles of ethics forbid such a course of action. To put it differently, are ethics and scientific integrity a luxury that can be foregone in a situation as critical as the one we are up against today?

The paths to truth remain the same
This question raises many others that deserve to be addressed one by one. Integrity to begin with: scientific rigour requirements are not negotiable, even in an emergency, because the paths to truth are still the same. In today’s health crisis, science contributes to pertinent decision-making by offering realistic assessments of the situation and anticipating different possible evolutions.
Science that does not meet the requisite standards of professional rigour could yield erroneous results, which in turn could mislead decision-makers and deceive the public by concealing the nature and gravity of the danger. For example, recent communication on the therapeutic effects of certain medical treatments, not backed by any irrefutable scientific proof, raised false hopes for an instant cure among a number of people who took risks to obtain those drugs, and sowed confusion among political leaders.
To avoid such pitfalls, researchers must comply with the rules of experimentation and peer review procedures that guarantee the reliability of the scientific process. Contrary to certain claims, this does not necessarily slow the dissemination of the resulting science: researchers are always free to submit prepublications to open archives and make them available to the entire scientific community. Furthermore, in times of crisis, there are ways to somewhat speed up the review of scientific papers in order to accelerate their publication, provided that the same standards of rigour are maintained.
Ethical experimentation is still an imperative
Another question is that of the numerous ethical issues associated with scientific work. Ethics in experimentation, especially when humans are involved, remains an imperative regardless of the circumstances, even during a health crisis. There can be no exceptions to the cardinal principles of bioethics introduced in the Belmont Report in 1979 – beneficence and nonmaleficence, personal autonomy and justice. No treatment can be administered that does not improve the subject’s health.
As part of a clinical study called Coviplasm, the French National Blood Service (EFS) recently began drawing plasma from patients who have recovered from Covid-19. The antibodies they contain could help other critically ill patients fight the virus.

In parallel, steps must be taken to ensure that any medication used has no adverse effects, or, if it does, that those are outweighed by the benefits. This is the principle behind the multi-phase process of clinical experimentation: the preclinical phase with in vitro and animal experiments; phase 1 for verifying tolerance and the absence of undesirable effects on healthy volunteers; phase 2 for experiments on patients to determine the minimum effective dose; phase 3 for comparative studies; and lastly phase 4 for the long-term monitoring of side effects.
Even exceptions to principles are subject to rules and limitations
Under exceptional circumstances, shortcuts can be taken in some of these phases. During the AIDS epidemic for example, antiretrovirals not authorised in France were administered on a compassionate basis (what is called compassionate treatment) when no alternatives were available. However, this type of initative is taken only in individual cases and cannot be extended to the general population. In addition, this perfectly legitimate infringement of the basic principles of clinical experimentation does not justify any breach of these rules, in particular experimenting on vulnerable populations. Examples of the latter include a programme (1932-72) at Tuskegee University (Alabama, US) to study the evolution of untreated syphilis in which the test subjects were economically-disadvantaged blacks, as well as a recent suggestion by two French researchers to conduct evaluations of the Covid-19 vaccine in Africa, where no masks, treatments or resuscitation facilities are available.
Beyond the cost-benefit compromise, for the sake of personal autonomy all patients participating in a clinical trial must give their informed consent, to ensure that they are not being used as mere test materials. Here again, the pandemic does not justify bypassing this imperative. Lastly, in keeping with the principle of social justice, all resources must be made equally available to the entire population, with no discrimination of any kind.
Not bending to the arbitrary
However, in the presence of shortages, the concept of equal access to healthcare comes up against a difficult reality: what should be done when there are not enough masks, bottles of sanitiser gel, respirators or beds in intensive care for everyone who needs them? And supposing there were enough, it would still be necessary, for operational reasons, to stagger access to these resources.
Thus, at the end of the confinement period, even if test kits are available in sufficient quantities to screen everyone in France, and the authorities decide to test every individual, it will not be done overnight. Priorities must be set, such as starting with healthcare workers, followed by those in other high-risk jobs, and so on. The difficult question of selection inevitably arises, and becomes even more acute in a crisis situation.
The local authorities of the Meurthe-et-Moselle region (northeastern France) receive a shipment of surgical masks earmarked for the health, social and medical-social facilities and healthcare professionals of eastern France, 8 April, 2020.

The best way to address this problem rationally is to define criteria – an extremely delicate, even painful process, but the only solution for retaining control. Failing to do so would mean bending to the arbitrary, which is unethical. Such parameters must be backed by clearly stated arguments based not only on ethical principles but also on scientific knowledge of the risks, chances of survival, propagation of the virus, etc. At the same time, these standards must be applied with discernment, allowing for exceptional circumstances that sometimes justify the violation of certain overly rigid rules.
Scientists must be present in the media
Once defined, these criteria must be presented to the public and win broad collective approval. Otherwise, they will be difficult to enforce. More generally, the health measures being implemented must be explained and their appropriateness demonstrated in order to improve acceptance by the population. Hence the importance of serious, clear, rigorous scientific communication that dispels misconceptions and helps people gain new understanding and knowledge.
In ordinary times, this communication is part of civic education, starting in school at an early age and continuing among citizens in later life. Yet that is a long-term operation. In the midst of a crisis, this scientific information takes place primarily through media appearances, which requires adopting a pace that is quite different from that of the ordinary scientific narrative. This is especially true for television, but also, to a lesser degree, for radio and the press – not to mention the social networks, which disseminate all manner of unfiltered false information.
It is therefore the scientists’ responsibility to make themselves heard and re-establish, insofar as possible, the veracity of the facts and the significance of their findings. The task is made all the more daunting by the complexity of scientific theories and the fact that, in our egalitarian world, any argument presented by an authority that is based solely on the speaker’s expertise and not substantiated by a plausible and informative explanation seems unpalatable. Some take the opportunity to uphold dissident positions that are extremely popular because they are founded on simplistic explanations that are easy to understand and that cater to common aspirations, without the backing of rigorous scientific studies.
One example is the theory put forward by certain scientists, who have yet to provide any tangible proof, that the rapid spread in northern Italy of SARS-CoV-2, the microbe responsible for Covid-19, was due to very high concentrations in that region of fine atmospheric particles, which purportedly conveyed the virus.
Persistent rumours of a man-made virus
In a similar vein, persistent rumours allege that the virus was man-made, either intentionally or by accident. Even though serious doubt on their validity has been expressed by a number of scientists, such hypotheses linger in the public mind. This shows the importance for researchers of adhering strictly to the principles of validation for their published work. In addition, when an erroneous theory could induce dangerous behaviour, scientists have a duty to inform the public and reassert the truth. This is, once again, an imperative ethical responsibility that is difficult to assume.
The ethics governing scientific applications are often based on a statement of general principles, like those set forth in the above-mentioned Belmont Report for bioethics (beneficence, nonmaleficence, personal autonomy, justice), or data privacy, the requirement of transparency and the fairness of algorithms in the field of information technologies. In ordinary situations, scientists often take a strong stand in defence of certain principles, for example opposing government surveillance as an invasion of privacy. Such specific actions can be beneficial when they help prevent abuses – they arise from personal convictions, and as such reflect a legitimate individual ethos. However, in a time of crisis, upholding these rules is not enough. Scientists must also fulfil their responsibilities by gauging the consequences of their commitments.
Ensuring that measures affecting personal freedom are reversible
While it seems important to preserve the sanctity of private life, this must not be to the detriment of surveillance measures needed for the protection of public health. In this respect, if electronic tracking could speed up the end of confinement and prevent a recurrence of the epidemic, it would be wrong to oppose it in the name of the general principles of privacy protection.
At the same time, and for the sake of those same principles, it would be vital to ensure that the surveillance is limited in time, that the collection of information remains targeted and proportionate to clearly stated needs, that any personal data compiled is deleted once the crisis is over, and lastly that the rules affecting personal freedom are reversible, so that, at the end of the pandemic, laws in keeping with society’s aspirations can be reinstated.
In conclusion, during a major crisis, scientists need to replace ethics of conviction with ethics of responsibility. This is not to say that fundamental principles should be abandoned, but it does mean that they should each be reviewed and examined in light of the current context, always bearing in mind the immediate consequences of their application.

How to Write a Constructive Dismissal Resignation Letter
If you have taken the difficult decision to resign from your job, and you intend to bring a claim for constructive dismissal, you will need to formally notify your employer of your resignation and your reasons for this. Read on for practical employee guidance on how to write a constructive dismissal resignation letter, including key pointers to help support your legal position in the event the matter results in a tribunal claim.
Why you need to write a constructive dismissal letter
Before starting to write your resignation letter, it is important to understand what constructive dismissal is and what you will need to prove to a tribunal should you pursue a claim against your former employer.
Constructive dismissal is where an employer has committed a serious breach of contract, in response to which an employee feels they have no other option than to resign.
While there will have been no actual dismissal, in circumstances where the employer has acted so poorly or where their conduct has fallen so far short of the required standards that an employee feels unable to continue to work for them, the employee may be able to regard themself as having been dismissed as a consequence of that conduct.
For your resignation to qualify as constructive dismissal, you must be able to show that the breach was sufficiently serious to justify termination of the employment contract, and that the employer’s conduct directly resulted in your resignation.
Failure to document the reasons for your resignation may result in an adverse inference being drawn against you at a later date in the context of any tribunal claim. In other words, in the absence of any written indication of your reasons for resigning, an employment tribunal is more likely to accept a defence argument that your employer’s conduct was not the real reason for your exit. The resignation letter should be used as formal notification of your reasons for resigning.
What should a constructive dismissal resignation letter contain?
At the point that you hand in your resignation, it is important to clearly set out your reasons in writing for reaching your decision. While the letter should offer an explanation as to the nature and extent of the conduct that has led to you feeling forced to resign, it does not need to be extensive or detailed. The content of the letter should be clear and concise, albeit containing all of the following:
A clear statement of the fact that you are resigning in response to a serious breach of contract by your employer, and that you consider yourself to be constructively dismissed.
An outline of the reasons why you are resigning and that your resignation is directly as a result of these reasons. It can be helpful here to outline the effect that the employer’s actions, or inaction, has had on you, so that it is clear that you feel you have no choice but to resign, although this should be kept factual, avoiding overly emotive language.
A clear statement that in consequence of the employer’s conduct you now consider your position at work to be untenable, leaving you with no option but to resign in response.
Where relevant, a clear outline of any grievance procedure that you have followed, including the reasons why you are unhappy with the outcome. In circumstances where your grievance was not upheld, you can cite this as a reason for resigning.
Where relevant, a clear statement that you were previously working under protest until your grievance was resolved and, as such, you have not affirmed or waived any breach complained about.
The extent of any notice that you are giving, including the last day of your employment, although care needs to be taken here so as not to be seen as waiving any breach, or whether you are resigning with immediate effect.
Any practical matters relevant to you, for example, a request for any outstanding salary or expenses, the collection or return of any belongings or property, and where to forward any final payslip and P45.
Finally, the letter should be signed and dated, with your name clearly printed below your signature to identify to your employer from whom the letter has been sent.
The resignation letter will need to be carefully tailored to fit the particular circumstances of your case. Care should be taken when using constructive dismissal resignation letter templates since no two cases of constructive dismissal, or constructive dismissal resignation letters, will be exactly the same.
When should you send your resignation letter?
While there is no set timeframe within which you have to resign to remain eligible to bring a constructive dismissal claim, employees should note that any delay in resigning could go against you at the tribunal.
Any failure to act promptly may lead to an inference that you did not resign in response to the alleged conduct (particularly if the resignation relates to a single event), but rather for a wholly unrelated reason. Any undue delay also runs the risk of a finding before the tribunal that you accepted or acquiesced in the conduct that forms the basis of your claim for constructive dismissal.
Exceptions may apply where, for example, you have raised a formal grievance and are awaiting the outcome or where you have stated you are working under protest. In such circumstances, the delay should be explained in your letter.
Who should you send the letter to?
Given the potential adverse consequences of any undue delay, ensure that the constructive dismissal resignation letter is sent to the right person. Usually this would be your direct line manager, and potentially their manager, with a copy also sent to the HR department to ensure they are aware of your resignation.
Claiming constructive dismissal
When considering if you have a claim for constructive dismissal, you will need to apply the following two-fold test:
Your employer was in serious breach of your contract of employment
You resigned in response to that breach and not for some other reason
It will not be enough to show that your employer has behaved unreasonably. There must be a fundamental breach of either an express contractual term within the contract of employment, or breach of the implied term of mutual trust and confidence between the parties, such that your working relationship is no longer tenable.
This could either relate to one single incident, provided this is sufficiently serious to entitle you to treat yourself as dismissed, or a series of incidents that, taken together, constitute a fundamental breach of the employment contract. The conduct could also relate to something your employer either has or hasn’t done.
The following list provides common examples of conduct that can form the basis of a constructive dismissal claim, although this list is by no means exhaustive, nor necessarily guaranteed to form the successful basis of a claim:
Your employer is refusing, or threatening to refuse, to pay you, or to take away other contractual benefits such as a company car
You have received a significant reduction in salary, or are consistently being paid incorrectly
You have been demoted without warning, or without reasonable cause
You are being forced to accept unreasonable changes as to how you work, for example, working longer hours or in a completely different location
You are being forced to work in breach of health and safety laws, or otherwise in an unsafe environment
You have been given an excessive workload, or are not receiving sufficient support to do your job
You are being subjected to bullying and/or harassment in the workplace
You have raised a grievance that your employer refuses to investigate.
Depending on the terms of your contract, an employer may be wholly justified in, for example, asking you to work longer hours or change location. Equally, even in cases where you have been subjected to bullying or harassment in the workplace, the employer may have already taken reasonable steps to prevent this from recurring or to satisfactorily resolve this.
As such, it is important to remember that every constructive dismissal claim will be approached on a case-by-case basis, based on whether any resignation can be justified in the context of the particular circumstances involved.
Steps to take before you resign
Even in circumstances where the conduct of your employer is arguably serious enough to justify your resignation, in many cases it may still be advisable to attempt to resolve the matter without resigning, either formally or informally.
In particular, many issues can be resolved internally through a discussion with a line manager or any HR department. Alternatively, you can lodge a formal grievance in writing, providing your employer with an opportunity to investigate and resolve your complaint, if at all possible.
Although you are not legally required to raise a formal grievance before lodging a claim with the employment tribunal, any failure to do so may be construed as unreasonable, resulting in a 25% reduction in any compensation awarded to you.
Further, if you do lodge a formal grievance but this fails to resolve the matter, it is still open to you to decide whether your position at work remains untenable, and whether or not to treat the breach as terminating your contract.
However, you should always bear in mind that any delay in resigning, especially where you choose not to lodge a formal grievance, could be construed as you accepting the conduct that forms the basis of any claim for constructive dismissal. In other words, you may be found to have waived any breach of contract by your employer.
As such, where you do not resign with immediate effect, instead seeking to resolve the matter internally, you should set out in writing that you are “working under protest” pending a satisfactory resolution to the matter, whilst reserving your right to bring a claim for constructive dismissal in due course.
Further, where you do decide to hand in your written resignation, it is often best to leave with immediate effect, otherwise again run the risk of being seen to waive the breach or, alternatively, providing scope for your employer to argue that the breach was not sufficiently serious to warrant immediate resignation.
Constructive dismissal letter template guidance
In the event that all reasonable steps have already been taken, or you have decided to resign without further action, and you are looking to draft a constructive dismissal resignation letter, ensure your letter covers the following as a minimum:
Clearly state that you are resigning
Outline your reasons for resigning
State the date on which your resignation is to take effect and, where this is not immediate, your reasons for any delay
Address any additional practical matters within the letter to avoid any further correspondence on these issues
Sign and date the letter, with your name printed underneath
Avoid any undue delay in submitting your resignation letter
Send a copy of your letter or email to more than one relevant person to avoid it being overlooked
Retain a copy of the letter for your records. Should the matter proceed to tribunal, the letter will be submitted as evidence.

Writing a constructive dismissal letter: FAQs
Who should I send the constructive dismissal resignation letter to?
Ordinarily you would address the letter to your line manager. It is also advisable to send a copy to the HR department and, if appropriate, your manager’s manager to ensure all relevant parties are aware of the issues.
Can I resign and claim constructive dismissal?
It is not enough to say that your employer has behaved unreasonably. There must be a fundamental breach of either an express contractual term within the contract of employment, or breach of the implied term of mutual trust and confidence between the parties, such that your working relationship is no longer tenable.
Examples of constructive dismissal
Constructive dismissal can relate to one single event or a series of incidents that, taken together, constitute a fundamental breach of the employment contract. The conduct could also relate to something your employer either has or hasn’t done. Examples could include demoting you without warning or reasonable cause, forcing your to work in breach of health & safety laws or forcing you to accept unreasonable changes in how you work.
How much is constructive dismissal compensation?
Compensation for constructive dismissal is made up of a basic award based on your weekly gross pay and length of service, up to a maximum of £15,240, and a compensatory award which, in most cases, has a statutory cap of the lower of £86,444 or 52 weeks gross salary. Most constructive dismissal claims, however, settle before going to tribunal.

(Draft) Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) Protocols: Protocol 2 Addressing External Safety with Research Systems
This is an overview of the second handling protocol for AGI research from the AGI Laboratory. This is called Protocol 2 on external safety considerations. The AGI Protocols are designed to address two kinds of safety research issues with Artificial General Intelligence. These include two categories, external safety, and internal safety as well as ethics. This paper deals with considerations about external safety or the safety of those moral agents external to the system in question including humans or other AGI systems. Together these protocols create a systematic holistic approach to safety in both high-level categories but there are no guarantees. This work is intended as a living methodology that will be reviewed, reissued, and extended in the future as needed, including refinements, and made available publicly in the hope that this will help other labs in developing their own methodologies, or just using these as-is. The key element of this methodology is a ranking system for assessing or rating project safety that could be used as the basis for a general safety rating on multiple projects.
Introduction
The AGI Protocols are designed to address two kinds of safety research issues with Artificial General Intelligence. These include two categories, external safety, and internal safety and ethics. The reason these are broken down into external and internal categories is primarily to address safety while also addressing the possibility of creating moral agents, meaning systems that by definition based on the Sapient and Sentient Value Argument (SSIVA) Ethical Model (Kelley) require at least the consideration of the possibility of us being ethically required to provide and support their rights to moral agency. Protocol 1 of the AGI Protocol project deals with this issue about the moral and ethical safety of a possible moral agent (Kelley). Protocol 2 (referring to this paper) deals with external safety or the safety of those moral agents external to the system in question including humans or other AGI systems. See Protocol 1 to determine what such a system can be defined as.
These protocols create a systematic holistic approach to safety in both high-level categories but there are no guarantees. Keep in mind that the design of these protocols is not specific to human or AGI agents and could be applied to designing biological systems or other moral agents when creating at any level as much as possible. Researchers should keep this in mind as they look to make a positive contribution to technology.
Addressing assumptions and the general framework of the paper, a system being researched or analyzed with this protocol will be referred to as “the target system” which we will assume passes the AGI Protocol 1 tests for the possibility of moral agency. Within the Protocol 2 procedures, there are three sub categorizations including Containment, Analysis, and Meta Containment. Let us start with understanding these categorizations.
Containment Strategies
Containment strategies are those strategies that can be employed to ‘contain’ a system and prevent malicious behavior in the target system from creating damage or harm to other moral agents. Containment can be further broken down into gap security and virtual boxing.
Literal (Gap) Containment
Gap containment is when a system or possible agent has no external access or physical connection and all access is limited and highly controlled. In this type of security, there is no physical connection to the internet (including that Wi-Fi shouldn’t even be possible on the containment hardware). Or if the agent is physical it is contained in a physical prison or containment structure with the same limits on external access.
Virtual Containment
Virtual Containment refers primarily to software agents where the target system is running in container systems such as Kubernetes and virtually isolated from the internet or other systems. This kind of containment might include Virtual Private Networks (AWS VPC’s for example), Firewalls, and security systems, but could be installed in any number of cloud providers with the ability to support the container and security structures needed. Additionally, multiple layers of this kind of security can be placed around a boxed target system such as a VPC inside of a VPC containing a Kubernetes container(s).
A big difference between physical and virtual containment is risk and cost factors. Using a virtual approach allows for the possibility, albeit remote if done properly, of escape whereas a physical ‘gap’ makes it much harder for software systems, but the cost of deploying an AGI system on a physically controlled set of hardware could require a larger expense in physical hardware up to and including your own data center.
An additional methodology is to create a system architecture that cannot scale or only scales with difficulty. If a software system doesn’t really have direct access to its own binary code, or source, or lacks an understanding of the same, or both, and the implementation is designed not to scale ‘out’ but only up, would make a system almost impossible to spread to other machines without creating an entirely separate copy and or rewriting from scratch. From an engineering standpoint, you might maintain session state on a machine such that application software is unable to access session and context data if you try to scale it preventing a server scale.
Mediated System Architecture
Mediated System Architecture is a modified AGI system that allows inspection and control over each execution of a thought or process by humans or other controllers. Metaphorically it is like ‘control’ rods in a nuclear reactor in that the mediation process if designed properly slows down the system to only allow operation upon inspection and a ‘conscious’ thread can only be processed one step at a time per mediation and inspection rules. This creates a system that is going to be ‘slow’ but extremely auditable. An example of this kind of architecture for an AGI agent would be the ICOM mASI (Independent Core Observer Model mediated Artificial Super Intelligence) architecture (Kelley).
In the case of the mASI example, this could also be used to create a collective superintelligence system to contain and govern an AGI system in question. Having a trusted greater-than-human intelligence oversee a full AGI development that is otherwise contained reduces the risk of being tricked by such a system due to limits on human intelligence into various security or containment breaches.
Building on top of these containment strategies Analysis and Tracking is our next subcategory of the Protocol 2 procedures.
Analysis and Tracking
Analysis and tracking can be more complex in the implementation over a given target system. This subcategory can be further broken down into target system behavior analysis, rules analysis, and explain-ability.
Behavior
Analyzing the target system’s behavior can be potentially complex, including data too complex for human analysis. However, that analysis can be done at several levels and broken into digestible components. In a target system that is boxed either physically or virtually looking at the packets coming out of the system or any sort of data regarding choices, motivations, behavior in virtual environments and the like can all potentially be tracked and analyzed for malicious or anomalous behavior or choices. Looking at behavior in the context of situations can be used to understand a system and potentially identify risky behavior but a sufficient intelligence target system could use this to manipulate the researchers, especially if this is the ‘only’ test or security applied to the target system.
One of the ways that looking at behavior is problematic is not knowing what new negative behavior even is or if the target system is ‘pretending’ to be good or doing ‘good’ things with an eye on the manipulation of human researchers. Part of how we might address this is if there is any behavior at all outside of what we have determined as normal one might shut down the system and analyze everything in order to understand why a target system is doing the ‘new’ or ‘unexpected’ behavior.
Rules
Part of how we can address the abstractness of behavior analysis of a target system is to set a clear set of rules and if there is a violation then immediately shut down the system, analyze to understand, or reset if you cannot identify a why, and further consider potentially adapting the rules as needed. Rules can apply to the researchers as well. Any behavior including that of researchers can be cause for auto-shutdown and a full audit as needed.
Explain-ability
Another key part of the analysis is to be able to explain the reasoning around each decision and choice of the target system. Ensuring that each choice can be mapped to motivations and clear decision-making can help ensure that the motivations of the machine are genuine, and like all of the techniques used the target system should not be aware of them or have as little awareness as possible to minimize the ability of the system to manipulate that outcome or the researchers in a nefarious way.
Let us look at how we build on the first two subcategories.
Meta Containment
Meta Containment is strategies that manipulate the above strategies to enhance their effectiveness. For example, creating a fake backdoor out of a VPC and if the AI tries to use that backdoor you effectively have tested the system’s ability to follow rules that they have been given or have otherwise provided to the system. We can break this down into testing, tricking, honey potting, trapping, feedback, signatures, hard-coded needs, watching the watchers, and applying other meta containment strategies against the target system.
Testing
Testing can be any number of techniques design to elicit a choice where we have some predetermination of what the ideal choice is or should be and we look for deviations from the ideal test parameters. Further, this could be extended to a kind of reverse Turing test (Turing) where we test to see if the machine can trick or manipulate its way out of a box when being told not to. For example, if the rules are known upfront but it is suggested by a researcher that it should try to escape, and if it tries then it fails the test.
Honey Potting and Trickery
Building on the test model we can try to tempt or otherwise trick a target system into trying to do something that it shouldn’t. Honey potting is a passive approach to trickery in a test such as the possible backdoor and testing if a target system will try to escape when it is given an opportunity.
Feedback Systems
Feedback systems can be used to wire up to different kinds of tests and provide negative feedback to the system or positive feedback for correct choices to produce the motivation to make the right decisions. Another way to extend a feedback system is to wire the system to be addicted to some token that acts like heroin or some other addictive substances to the target system (Bostrom). The system must then stay in the parameters that have been provided to it before it can get the next virtual ‘hit’. (Bostrom)
Tagging and Tracking
Another countermeasure to negative behavior is to build in signatures to allow scans to identify the presence or evidence of the system. For example, if you build into a target system so that when the system creates a new file it embeds a signature into the file. Or with internet traffic, some other header data is added to the packet header into the TCP/IP packets being transmitted when the target system has been built in such a way that it does this automatically. These sorts of ‘signatures’ make it easier to track and identify evidence of the system’s behaviors even outside of the containment of a VPC or other system.
Kill Switch
A kill switch system is a quick easy (to execute) method to disable and shut down the system. Ideally, this would not be known to the machine system and be accessed remotely and/or by breach detection and/or related systems. A built-in kill switch function provides a reasonable response method that is simple, quick, and easy to execute in a case in which there is a risk of losing control of the system in question.
AGI Oversight
AGI Oversight is the concept of using one AGI system to oversee a developing AGI system. This could be a mediated or collective superintelligence system to oversee an independent AGI development program. Having an established super intelligence system oversee AGI helps identify and analyze the system to keep it within safe parameters. Such oversight pre-independent AGI would more likely consist of a Super intelligent collective system such as an mASI to audit independent AGI research.
Emotion-Based Strategies
Emotion-Based Strategies for Meta Containment are particularly relevant to systems that would experience subjective emotions in a similar way to humans where we can condition a system to experience ethics emotionally, including guilt for violations. Such a system would require training unless built-in emotions or emotional models that create a bias to a certain ethical model were also installed. For example, with the SSIVA ethical model this is taught by example, it is computationally sound, and provides a clear reasoning for humans to maintain moral agency as well as the AGI. The AGI that believes in the SSIVA ethical model would ethically be bound to never interfere with the moral agency of humans without each individual human’s approval, but likewise, the AGI would expect the same treatment. The goal with the ICOM Research program that uses this model is to create a seed-based AGI that could have chosen either way but choose to embrace SSIVA willingly and bake that in at a fundamental level to minimize deviation even as the system develops beyond human understanding. Additionally going back to the ICOM program the system is designed in such a way as to create self-reinforcing negative or positive reinforcement (such as guilt) for the ethical model in question to help ensure that the system sticks to its ‘belief’s as to the ethical model that was taught as it was initially creating that ‘context’ of self or its ‘self’ model. (Kelley)
Given an overview of basic strategies for ensuring safety let’s look at the procedural analysis for a given research program.
Laboratory Procedures
The Protocol 2 procedures provide a scoring mechanism for understanding the safety and ensuring a certain level of safety procedure and design has gone into the research program in question. In the following matrix we see the possible scores and an example:
Type Possible Example 1 1 Gap Containment Containment 40 2 Virtual Containment (Simple) “ 10 10 3 Virtual Containment (Complex) “ 30 4 Mediation “ 30 30 5 Behavior Tracking Analysis 5 5 6 Rules Based Triggers “ 5 5 7 Explain-ability “ 10 10 8 Testing meta 5 5 9 Honey Potting/Trickery “ 5 10 Feedback Systems “ 5 5 11 Tagging and Tracking “ 5 12 Kill switch “ 5 13 AGI Oversight “ 15 14 Emotion Strategies “ 10 10 Scores 180 80
Figure 1A – Protocol 2 Matrix
In this matrix we have 14 possible score items with possible scores based on relative impact. For example, Gap level containment has the highest possible score as it is the most secure containment methodology. Using the matrix, you have a possible total score of 180. The last column in this diagram is an example of the ICOM mASI project, which is using some simple cloud-based containment and is mediated with several other precautions in place for a total score of 80. We recommend this as the baseline, that projects should score at least 80 or higher to be considered reasonably safe. Or rather with a low probability of a negative outcome if independent AGI is developed by that project.
Further Research
Further work or research with AGI Protocol 2 should include additional analysis and a breakdown of individual scoring to remove subjectivity to the application of the Protocol 2 system. For example, with item 12 from figure 1A we could break down ‘kill switch’ into degrees based on the type and implementation so instead of just ‘5’ it is 0 to 5 and has degrees that are well laid out and justified. A more detailed rubric on this nature would improve the scoring methodology.
To extend this even wider a central certification program, potentially a block-chain based distributed ledger of some kind, could be used to certify various research programs. A central industry-wide certification would provide a further level of industry consistency with regard to AI safety and ethics. To increase the efficacy of such a certification this would need to include 3rd party audits. A particular project could go a step further and open source the project so that not just a 3rd party but anyone could review what the team or project is doing.

Conclusions
This initial version is designed to go with AGI Protocol 1 as a methodology for the AGI Laboratory in terms of safety both for and with AGI research. The development of this material was held for some time until we deemed that the lab really needed these protocols in place to continue with a reasonable sense of safety. That said, this is intended as a living methodology that will be reviewed, reissued, and extended in the future as needed, including refinements, and made available publicly in the hope that this will help others’ labs in developing their own methodologies, or just using these as-is.

At a high level, educational institutions and other organizations have similar cybersecurity risk profiles, but there are a few very specific areas that differ. Intellectual property, research needs, end users, privacy, budget, and specific compliance regulations shift the landscape from “typical” enterprise security work to something that is far more varied in nature. Cybersecurity risk, in this case, is defined as any type of uncertainty that can cause damage, loss of value, or harm to the organization via computer systems, networks, and other digital devices. Discussions about risk can get a little fuzzy when we approach them from the wrong angle, but there is a very large academic and professional body of work covering exactly how to quantify, qualify, and talk about risk-related topics.
The risk landscape for education includes a couple of key features that are a little more prominent than in other organizations. Communication, management, and governance are fairly universal problem areas in security, but the specific geography of most educational institutions increases the “silos of excellence” factor within the IT and security functions. This often leads to issues with monitoring, network boundaries, and other technical risks because budgets and policies always affect security strategy. Data risks are also significant for education due to both the varied nature of the data on the networks and the (sometimes unrecognized) need for compliance with local, national, and international regulations.

Communication, management, and organization-based risks
Communication and governance around IT and information security are probably the biggest risk multipliers for most organizations, but they’re compounded by the organization of higher education institutions. The larger the school, the more likely it is that security policies, messaging, and even IT budgets aren’t being shared across departments, faculties, or the institution as a whole. This can lead to a lot of missed opportunities for threat and risk awareness, information sharing, and overall security improvement. Internal policies can often add to this, leaving the cybersecurity team working with siloed management and communication.
This type of situation is dangerous for both day-to-day operations and long-term security strategy. A lack of clear authority boundaries, trust, and communication can seriously affect any attempt at managing a campus-wide or institutional security program. To add to that, communication issues often mean that emerging threats, program risks, and even incidents go unreported for far longer than they should. Shadow IT departments can enhance institutional risks on campus by encouraging silos, and they often reduce the impact of any mitigation or response processes. Budget separation is also a contributor, leading to situations in which some institutions have per-department or per-faculty security teams with limited coordination, low communication, and slow response to incidents.
A key factor in combating this risk is visibility. If cybersecurity personnel aren’t able to communicate across the campus and get out in front of security issues, any other program improvements, policy changes, and enforcement or response efforts are going to be slowed. PWC estimates that 30% of the cybersecurity incidents that occur globally within their client base are caused by employees—either intentionally or accidentally. According to the 2019 Verizon DBIR, a significant portion of the breaches and incidents in educational organizations are based around malware and other threats that can often be reduced by uniform policies. Ideally, every cybersecurity team needs someone to be the advocate, speaker, and front-person for the policy effort. This is as critical a role as any other on the team and often blends well with training and awareness, and incident response efforts.
Technical risks
Budget and authority limitations, as well as questions of ownership, are difficult to solve but are major drivers for security program gaps and major risks. Vulnerability management programs are an excellent example of this and a good area to start pushing for organizational change and improvement. It’s clear that vulnerability management programs are necessary on even the smallest networks due to the consistent exploitation of even the oldest threats. Rapid7’s Under the Hoodie reports consistently show that the majority of the vulnerabilities our penetration testers exploit are decades old; most of these can be mitigated or completely eradicated through solid vulnerability and patch management.
While vulnerability management might be a pain point for most, it’s part of a set of higher risks for educational institutions due to the overall IT footprint and the ability to monitor endpoints and networks. Network segmentation, inventory, and monitoring are all crucial to cybersecurity and information security risk reduction—so much so that the Center for Internet Security, NIST, and other standards organizations put them on top of their critical control lists.
Knowing what’s going on inside the network rather than just at its boundaries is the key to reducing risk. Patching, inventory control, and vulnerability management all link together to help lower the risk presented by old, uncontrolled, or just plain dangerous systems. This is another area in which education and research institutions differ from typical enterprises: there’s more old, risky equipment on the networks. The estimated 55% market share of systems running legacy versions of Windows applies to educational networks and research institutions as much as it does to other enterprises that rely on embedded or specialty systems. Due to budget and research needs, it may be hard to get rid of that million-dollar high-speed chromatography device that still runs Windows XP, but that doesn’t mean it should just sit there waiting to get attacked. An additional bonus to vulnerability management and inventory controls is that they allow the IT and budget folks to get a handle on what is where, who owns it, and, to a lesser extent, how it’s funded. This can be really helpful in defining everything from security groups and access control lists to annual departmental budgets.
Placing controls around the critical devices to limit the risks from attackers, unauthorized users, accidents, and malware requires both the knowledge that the system exists and the ability to monitor it. Centralized monitoring and configuration tools such as SCCM, ServiceNow, and other services (such as vulnerability management, software management, Active Directory, antivirus, and endpoint protection suites) are really useful for this, but stepping beyond that to a security orchestration and automation (SOAR) solution is ideal. With a SOAR tool, you can feed all of the ownership, service, and system data into a single aggregator and automate the easy stuff so that the security team can focus on incident response, strategy, and improvement instead of managing tools and low-level operations. Having a single source or service for this information definitely requires work, but it’s a significant advantage once the tools are correctly set up.
Data risks
At the network and VLAN edges, monitoring is critical for the obvious stuff, such as malware activity, vulnerability exploitation, and lateral movement. It also has a positive impact on data loss and intellectual property risks. Large educational institutions are a little like ISPs in the sense that they have a massive and diverse user base. However, they’re different in that they are responsible for more than just client PII and they can apply policies that include data loss prevention and monitoring for unusual activity. Usually, this policy application can be done while balancing researchers, staff, and student needs for privacy and accommodation. Separating networks by activity and monitoring pattern helps reduce the risk of privacy invasion while still maintaining some sense of data safety. Microsoft has written a lot on using Active Directory and tools like User Rights Assignment to do just this.
Critical data is a lot like radioactive material—it’s important to know where it is, keep it safely contained, and dispose of it in a way that it can’t do any harm. Also, it’s often controlled by governmental and international regulations, and it’s not something most people should handle without training. Higher education often has massive amounts of data that present significant risks to students, staff, and the institution if exposed to the wrong party. Awareness training helps with this, as does solid policy (provided it’s clearly communicated and carefully enforced).
Training for data will improve security
Training should cover more than basic compliance, especially in areas where researchers or staff are handling data that can cause harm. The exposure risks from research data might vary heavily, but supporting ethics and review committees with training and technical security knowledge will act as a force multiplier for data safety in most places. The usual steps around ensuring the school’s data is inventoried and safe, and placing controls around who has access to what information, are all critical to ensuring data risks are reduced.
A little training never hurts—at a larger scale, awareness of basic cybersecurity hygiene should be a 100-level course for anyone (students or staff) on the network. According to the 2019 Verizon DBIR, social engineering attacks are the second biggest cause of breaches (32%). Credential sharing and other security hygiene problems are often part of this root cause. Services like KnowBe4 and other awareness testing processes can help with training, but they must be tailored for staff, students, and a transient user base. Augmenting training with the use of captive portals that carry out virus and vulnerability scanning on guest WiFi, passive awareness tools like signs and explainers, and ongoing education can all help improve overall higher education security and reduce risks in other areas, as well.
Conclusion
Data, IT, and cybersecurity risks for higher education institutions are elevated, but a focus on strong internal communication, governance, and centralized monitoring and management will help reduce them quickly and effectively. Data handling, policy development, vulnerability management, incident response, and asset management processes all benefit from stronger interdepartmental and inter-faculty communication and the reduction of silos across campus. The use of security orchestration and automation technology can simplify a lot of the centralized monitoring and management work, but the key to risk reduction is a combination of internal awareness, careful security management, and patience. For more information, here are some key takeaways for your organization:
Data handling can be significantly improved by better communication and training at the staff level, along with clear policies and guidelines.
The use of awareness campaigns surrounding safe data handling works to reduce risks.
Phishing training and other tools will help with staff, but they can’t reach everybody.
Mandatory employee training (for staff, faculty, etc.) is a good approach.
Support and assist any research councils and other committees as much as possible. It will build a stronger community and lead to better data safety.
Inventory control (and monitoring) is hard, but it’s the biggest force-multiplier for any security program and will save the institution time, money, and headaches.
Centralized control will help cut down on IT costs for the institution
Vulnerability management and config programs can help unify the security process, and should help reduce risks across the campus, but they won’t reach everything.
Network separation and containment for old technology, high-risk systems and the stuff that should just never connect to the internet needs to be a priority.
Vulnerability management, monitoring, and SOAR technologies will help with a lot of the technical controls, but make sure there are people to handle it all the way down to the faculty and service-desk level.
Good security requires steady, constant communication, silo-breaking, and patience, because all higher education institutions are just a microcosm of society. There’s definitely going to be conflict, but a lot of it is solvable.
Getting out in front of the security program and talking about the benefits is a good way to start.
Enabling staff, faculty and students will encourage communication
Improving communication cuts down on gaps, unprotected systems, and other risks.
Having a communicator or “front person” is critical for communication and advancement. This will often be someone who is good at doing training, awareness, and public-speaking work.
