hi, how are you? I hope you're doing well. I have a question about the hybrid things that some people were asking about and talking of it with you. Which hybrid do you think the members of the task force would be? (Like wich animals of hybrid)
I'm really sorry if you already answered this or if is hard to understand, english is not my first language (I'm from Brazil) and I never asked anything to any account here so I'm kinda nervous actually.
Awww don't be nervous!! Your English is perfect!!
I don't think I've done hybrid specific ones before? I've done which animals I think they are a long time ago.
I'll answer this one anyway since it will be relevant later 🤭
John is a bear hybrid. Big hairy man? Bear.
Kyle is a wolf hyrbid (because Elliot said Gaz would be a wolf if he were an animal)
Johnny would be some kind of dog hybrid. Like a Doberman or a Rottweiler. Big and tough but also a big baby.
Simon is a big cat hybrid. Like a jaguar or a leopard. Big, stealthy, deadly.

anyway i want to introduce you all to my Big Cat Husband Household. this is an official thing i love them all. said household includes - black jaguar!toji, snow leopard!satoru, tiger!sukuna, black panther!suguru and mountain lion!tengen.
we all sleep on one bed and that bed is the size of a whole room btw they are massive. tengen and sukuna sleep on their backs while showing off their tummies to the world, satoru is always one move away from falling of the bed, suguru manages to be majestic even when he's asleep he looks like a statue with his paws crossed like that smh (i am jealous of his beauty) and i always end up sleeping under toji's side which means that i am at risk of him just turning over and suffocating me (i love it)
i also can never leave btw. like no bathroom breaks for me whatsoever bc i move an inch and suddenly i'm being yanked back to bed by any one of them and it's so??????????? weren't you just asleep?????????????????? they're all incredibly clingy (i also really love that ngl) oh and i die every summer. bc i am horrible with heat and they're all like HEATERS it's actually so bad and it's not like they really want to let me sleep anywhere else either smhhhhhhhhhh but since they love me<3 they take turns of sleeping with me in the living room instead of the bedroom
satoru also uhh kind of gets bullied by the others but he's genuinely so unbothered by it it's crazy. he also gets special treatment from me bc the others are mean and i am not, i like to baby him sm he gets the most ear scratches while the others glare at him from the other side of the room. satoru thinks it's very funny bc he loves the attention (the others love him too though dw i would actually kick them out if that wasn't the case)
sukuna and tengen tussle the most but it's all for fun they both like playing around a lot,, satoru often joins them too and it's a very entertaining thing to look at lmao toji and suguru typically just stare at them from the couch bc toji is lazy he just wants to lounge around all day and suguru thinks that he's better than the others in a way (?????)
(i also think it's really funny to add housecats dazai and chuuya to this household sometimes bc the idea of dazai and tengen sleeping in a patch of sunlight is so fucking funny,, dazai looks like a fucking twig next to tengen i think if the latter would place a hand over him he might actually break lmao chuuya and toji get along really well though they don't talk a lot but they just feel very comfortable around each other they also take naps together and it's the cutest sight ever)
the tongue baths go insane with them all btw but i won't get into that rn bc i might uhh have a heart attack..

hi its 🐆 anon again back w another feline fack (i saw the panther arlecchino post)
black panthers arent real :D, melanism is a mutatin yhay causes the production of melanin to go boom so a black panther is js a jaguar or a leapord but, yk, black. So arlecchino qould either be a black jaguar or idk, an albino jaguar
sorry i just had to flex my feline knowledge
Ohhh, that’s actually rlly interesting 🤔
I still think we should refer to Arlecchino has a “black panther” in this AU though, just because it’s a name that a lot of people are familiar with and are able to understand when we talk about her.
Besides being a black panther however, I could also see Arlecchino being a snow leopard! I think someone sent me an ask about that once in my inbox, but it was a long time ago and my memory is foggy. But Arlecchino is definitely either a black panther or snow leopard in this AU methinks! Shes very big cat coded <3

hello!! it was jokers family fun & games in maine, there used to be two locations in augusta and westbrook but i remember going to the augusta one the most since it was a bigger location, plus i also remember seeing these guys there (bare with me here since i was a kid so my memories gonna be fuzzy) it was pretty much chuck e cheese but for maine and i remember there were on a blue, round stage area with no curtain or backdrop so most of the time (or at least in my memory) we saw them idle with some slight movements i don't remember most of the band but i do remember the front man being a moose in what i believe was a black tuxedo, kind of looked like bull-winkle (it makes sense considering moose is kind of a staple of maine lol) if you guys aren't unable to find these guys that's okay! i've tried couple times myself with no results, but i enjoyed getting to share these guys! i really loved going to jokers a lot as a kid and remember i would sit in front of the stage a lot because these guys stuck out to me a lot lol SORRY TO RAMBLE JUST, I LOVE ANIMATRONICS LIKE THESE LOL
OK! SO! I DID find some footage of animatronics at a (now closed) Joker's location! Yippee!!
HOWEVER!
The show isn't really what you described, which means we've still got a mystery on our hands!
youtube
Here's what we've got so far! This was at the Auburn Mall location! No moose to be seen-- looks like a band of big cats, perhaps? Looks like a panther on keyboard, a lion(?) on drums, and a cheetah/leopard on guitar? I don't recognize this particular show, but it looks super cute!
Does anyone have any information, either on the show OP is describing or the show in the video? Send it in, we'll be more than happy to post it!
-Mod Possum
EDIT: BAND IDENTIFIED!
This is Mick Jaguar and the Sly Cats by VP Productions! I believe we featured them briefly in an old post.

question time: what animals do u think suit the gotei 13 squad caps and lietenant?
i see soifon as either a black cat (obviously) or a fox and omaeda is a big ol’ honey bear
toshiro would be a snow jaguar and raigiku would be a peacock
(and idk about u but i think komamura would be like a dog, just saying 🤷‍♀️)
what do u think?
ohhhhhhhhhh, I love this question!!!! I'm definitely missing some, but here it is <3
Tumblr media
I think Gin is definitely a snake. I mean for obvious reasons, but he's sneaky like a snake and moves in silence.
Byakuya's a wolf. He likes to be alone and fierce, but he needs his family to survive.
Yumichika is a peacock. Cocky and he knows he's beautiful.
Ikkaku is a bull. He loves to fight and isn't afraid to show it.
Shunsui is a bear. Big and cuddly, but very strong and deadly.
I feel like Jushiro is an otter. Let me explain myself 😭 Otters are really cute and spend most of their time sleeping, just like my man.
I feel like Toshiro is either an ice dragon, duh, or a porcupine. Porcupine's are small and cute, but will stab you if you try to pet him.
Soifon is definitely a black cat. Mysterious, but has claws if you know what I mean 🤷🏼‍♀️
Kenpachi is a lion. Strong and loves to fight.
Mayuri is something else from a whole other planet...
Rukia is snow leopard, not only because of her powers, but because she's fierce.
Renji is a dog because he's super loyal.
Rangiku is probably also a peacock because of her beauty.
Aizen is a black panther for obvious reasons.
Unohana is some sort of bear. She looks nice and cuddly, but could kill you.
Shinji is a monkey because he's silly all the time.
Sajin is a dog/wolf...for obvious reasons again.
Isane is a cute bunny!!
Rojuro is a cat.
Kensei is a bulldog.
Nanao is a beaver. She looks innocent, but is incredibly dangerous.
Yachiru is a slow loris.

How about young Panther Blake learning what Tiger Yang’s chuffing sound means as tigers can’t purr? 🥺
So, technically, Blake is a black jaguar but black jaguars and leopards fall under panthers. I'm pretty sure they don't purr either, but I have an idea to make this work! Don't you worry, @reeves3!
*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*
JuvenileTiger!Yang: (chuffing as she rolls around on the ground and rubs up on JP!B)
JuvenilePanther!Blake: (slowly leans away) What are you doing?
J.Tiger!Yang: (props her head on JP!B's shoulders) I'm chuffing!
J.Panther!Blake: You're.... what?
J.Tiger!Yang: Chuffing.... you know... like (chuffs again) that.
J.Panther!Blake: What...is that?
J.Tiger!Yang: You don't know what chuffing is? I thought panthers didn't purr.
J.Panther!Blake: We don't. What does that have to do with it?
J.Tiger!Yang: It's a verbal affection! It mean's I'm happy and I like youuuu.... uh..... (whiskers start twitching in time with her ears) I mean....
J. Panther!Blake: (ears twitch) O-Oh..... um.... (looks to the side bashfully and tries to chuff before nuzzling JT!Y's muzzle)
J.Tiger!Yang: (tail corkscrews and springs straight as she puffs up)

Hi, gremlin from recent coment here.
I got bit more ideas to dump in. Until they get proper name and look I will refere to them as "Cat".
-Cat being a minicon just like Ravage, but maybe without working with bigger bot. They could either be free minicon or had master that died or they run away from.
-They might be a bounty hunter, hitman or spy to hire. Maybe without faction they belong to, just who pay more.
-Alternatively, them being opposite of Ravage: Autobot security guard, responsible for keeping sensitive data from getting into Decepticon's hands.
-Since Ravage resembles black jaguar, Cat could look like other species of big cats, like lynx or caracal.
-Since I brought Kitty Softpaws, Cat having sort of disability/permanent injury. Not working T-cog, their animalistic paws replaced with clawless version or something else.
I've thought about more about this kittycon more while I was gone, and the best name I could come up with was Feliform or Felifast which is a bit ehh
May I suggest they had a host mech who died in the war (or after the war)? But they've been alone for a While since
BOUNTY HUNTER MINICON SOUNDS SO COOL TO ME
That or maybe an assassin
Or the autobot security guard idea, maybe that'd pit the two of them against each other temporarily??
Hmm, I was tempted to either base them on a more sleek panther or even a serval cat? Honestly there's so many options, though I'm still stuck on their color palette (maybe, considering Ravage is black and whitr, Cat more brightly colored?) (I'm thinking almost white and blue or yellow with black highlights?)
I feel like we should absolutely lean into our inspiration here and suggest Cat has no claws, and it causes issues like declawing usually comes with issues.

You have probably asked / made a post about this before, and if correct, I'm sorry for asking but...
I've been wondering, which Big Cat every doctor (both from the classic and new) is? I'm genuinely curious.
This is an amazing question. Thank you!
1 - Manul/Pallas cats are what I default to - crabby & fierce & not very big
2 - Scottish Wildcat, entirely because of Jamie
3 - lion. Social, regal, also actually fairly goofy if you watch them for an extended period of time
4 - tiger. Big, dramatic, colorful. Very loud
5 - cheetah. Blond, neurotic, very athletic
6 - smilodon. Huge & dramatic & absurd (also my favorite, as he was the first cat I wrote)
7 - I'm honestly not sure on his case? I'm tempted to go for cheetah as well, just because of the virus
8 - black panther ala Bagheera, if only because it matches the literature vibe he gives
9 - snow leopard. Elusive, from the North (I didn't say these weren't shallow), prickly with a soft center
10 - one of those small cats that looks like a housecat (e.g., black footed cat) but actually one of the biggest predators of their ecosystem
11 - caracal. Something long & leggy
12 - I'm not sure on him either, to be honest. Maybe a leopard of some kind
13 - either a serval or a gold footed cat
14 - house cat what went feral
15 - don't know enough about him yet, but inclined towards something flashy like a jaguar
Thank you for letting me sit here & think about cats & Doctors, my 2 favorite things!

Are the aliens at all impressed with any aspects of humans, or do they just find us inferior in every regard? Personally I like it when humans in stories have one or two things they're better at than the aliens, even if it's small things that are easily countered by the aliens technology
Hi my darling!
Absolutely! I'll talk more about it when I talk about life on Nion 8 (which won the poll, purrrr), but the aliens are quite impressed with Earth (even if they roast it on a daily basis).
One thing they admire about humans is their resilience. When trouble comes a-knocking, humanity fights back. We're people of blood, sweat, and tears. No matter how much time it takes, we persevere through hardship and never take defeat lying down.
It's one of the reasons why the aliens haven't completely eradicated life on Earth. Sure, they killed a lot of humans, but that was done the same way people kill in war. They stifle the opposition and allow the remaining survivors to live under their rule.
The aliens see humans as beneath them, but they don't underestimate the threat they pose. So, it is better to know thy enemy than ignore it. They allow just enough humans to live so they will be more inclined to accept this as their "new normal", but not too many where they forget who now rules over them.
Aliens from Nion 8 are also concentrated in their own cities around the planet. Humans can go days, weeks, months without encountering any alien humanoids unless they're near that populated area. The aliens are rebuilding their own civilizations. They aren't worried about the petty, small humans unless they stick their noses in business that doesn't concern them, and cross the boundary lines set in place by the aliens.
The hard thing for humans, other than you know..the obvious, is that the aliens left them with few resources and little means of acquiring any. That means that you're pretty fucked if you don't have a source of food, clean water, or shelter. Humans have either been left to their own devices to starve or not, the aliens don't care, or they've been enslaved and possessed to serve as lower-tier soldiers in the alien militia. Remember, story of survival! Yeaaaa it's all coming together *rubs hands together*
Now the alien humanoids aren't what you should fear on a daily basis...it's the creatures. Imagine the apex predators doubled in population and began chilling everywhere on the planet. Like you try to take your daily jog and a jaguar is rolling around in your front yard. Mhm...it gets real bloody real fast.
Whew I went on a tangent...BACK TO YOUR QUESTION!
The aliens are also impressed with how advanced the humans are technology wise. Nion 8 has some bitchin' tech, but they also have many different resources available to them. It's sorta like the alien's have vibranium and can create the Black Panther, but they're still impressed with what humans can do with their own metals. "Not bad, silly humans. Not bad."
Humans are also much better at living meaningful lives than aliens are. Life on Nion 8 is pretty pre-determined. There isn't time or thought towards hobbies, likes and dislikes, or free will. You have a position, you have a job. That is it. They aren't unhappy with that, per say. It's all they're used to. Seeing the humans be so well rounded and interesting definitely impresses them.
"What is this?"
"A video game!"
"What do you achieve from this..vee-deo game?"
"It's just for fun."
the aliens:
Tumblr media
Many aliens also have a fascination with human food and have taken human chef's to their cities with the sole purpose of making them cook for their people.
The human chefs after thinking they're about to be sacrificed, fried, and bbq'd for the aliens to consume, only to be told they get their own rooms and just need to run their own lil alien restaurant (prompted with the threat of death, of course)
Tumblr media
Nion 8 was in a silly goofy mood when they invaded Earth. Happens to the best of us.
Thank you so much for your question, sunshine! ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
All my love,
Cheye

What animal forms would you say sit at the intersection of the King and Magician Jungian Archetypes?
oh wonderful question! the king/ruler is a quintessential archetype: a member of the structural quadrant, the king seeks to enact their vision through asserting power and control in the world around them. they find security in maintaining a sense of control; often these individuals are either strong visionary leaders or corrupted by their authoritarian viewpoints. the magician is somewhat more enigmatic — as an impressionist, they also act as a catalyst for change, but when the magician is dominant and lacking structural influence they predominantly enact this through their intuition, reflection, and understanding. the crossroads of the ruler/magician paints the image of a wise leader, in tune with their own feelings and perspective, willing to seize leadership in order to bring betterment, but perhaps even more drawn into the trap of only seeing their own perspective.
for animal forms, apex predators are very fitting for the ruler and i think there's a nice selection of ones that evoke intuition, transformation, and polarized opinions as well. i'll touch on three here.
Tumblr media
the jaguar i used the jaguar as an example of a pullman daemon befitting the ruler in my post, but it's the perfect combination of the ruler and the magician. the jaguar is noble, courageous, and spiritual; in much mythology it is a symbol of leadership and wisdom through innovation. the jaguar exemplifies transformative leadership though also the withdrawn, intensely private nature a ruler/magician would possess.
there's boundless stories of the jaguar in mesoamerican cultures. the maya, for example, associated the jaguar with godliness, the underworld, and fertility. the popol vuh, which recounts the creation and history of the k'iche' maya people, features the hero twins: jaguar-spotted xbalanqué and his twin hunahpú. as another common example, the aztec similarly associated the jaguar with godliness (specifically tezcatlipoca, the smoking mirror, the creator god known to be both vengeful and a patron to the esteemed and wealthy) and strength — seen also through the ocēlōtl warriors. jaguars also are heavily associated with nagual: mesoamerican shapeshifters who have connected with power and spiritual insight, enabling them to take the form of their tonal animal. this is also quite smilar to the olmec spiritualism of the werejaguar, whose symbol is debated, but the anthropomorphism of the jaguar's portrayal seems similar to how the jaguar intersects with divinity and power in other mesoamerican cultures.
anyway all of this culminates to make the jaguar the perfect form for someone who resonates strongly with both the ruler and the magician. the jaguar certainly has other motifs as well; the jungle is of course a strong one, as well as mesoamerica, stalking and hunting, and the significance of their black morph (often called the black panther).
Tumblr media
the bearded vulture the bearded vulture is one of my favorite raptors and another beautiful intersection between the magician and the ruler. vultures in general i believe are wonderful candidates for the magician; scavenger animals excel in insight and transformation, often associated with themes of death and rebirth. the bearded vulture is a real striking example of this — its association with sovereignty comes primarily from iranian culture, known vernacularly as homa. homa is a legendary divine bird, believed to fly restlessly and never land, though when it casts a shadow or lands upon a man it is believed to bestow kingship. even the turbans of kings bore feathers from homa's plumage. homa also had connections with rebirth: similarly to a phoenix, it would be consumed in fire every few centuries, and then be reborn new from the ashes.
homa and the bearded vulture have strong positive associations in iranian culture, as it's also considered a bird of luck and lifelong happinness. it also has intensely false negative associations with taking livestock (the bearded vulture is also called the lammergeier, or lamb-taker in german), which unfortunately has contributed to its threatened status. in greece, the bearded vulture (or ossifrage) were one of the types of birds that ornithomancers could use to guide political decisions, again connecting bearded vultures to the spiritual and to kings.
altogether, the bearded vulture is a great option for someone who relates strongly to the transformative and rebirth aspects of the magician, as well as the destined and noble aspects of the ruler. the bearded vulture, in addition to elements mentioned above, also is associated with symbolism of the alps and highlands, death and decay, and sacred divinity. the bearded vulture is also a good option for a ruler/magician who also relates to aspects of the explorer.
Tumblr media
the cobra the quintessential cobra is commonly confused with the king cobra — or maybe just overshadowed as the king cobra is largest and most venomous "cobra" while not being a cobra at all! it is an ophiophagus and not a naja like species such as the indian cobra and the egyptian cobra. cobras in general have complex associations of nobility, divinity, and fear. it's difficult to separate any snake form from its intrinsic negative associations, though the cobra is particularly rooted in most people's consciousness as being part of snake charming acts and notorious for deadly bites. i'm going to go over the cobra in general, though you could absolutely look into specific species that may fit you the best.
the ruler symbolism of the cobra has been seen both in how the cobra associates with the divine and with kings. the uraeus is one of the most striking cobra symbols: an upright or rearing cobra used in ancient egypt to denote kings. the cobra was intended to be a protector of the pharaoh and of tombs; it was also worn as a head ornament, conveying legitimacy of the ruler. this is due to the uraeus being a symbol of wadjet — the protector of lower egypt, depicted as a variant of a snake-woman (most often an egyptian cobra). gods of other cultures were also associated with the cobra. the hindu gods shiva and vishnu are often depicted with cobras, the latter seen resting atop the cobra shesha: a naga demigod and king of the serpents who holds the planets within his hood. despite the cobra's venomous reputation, it also holds an important place in cultural symbolism as the protector of spiritual and sacred spaces.
all in all, the cobra may be an excellent form for a ruler/magician who relates somewhat to elements of the outlaw. the cobra has a multifaceted reputation of both protective and deadly, kingly and feared, and featured in stories of both creation and destruction.
hope this helps in getting form ideas flowing! :)

Since today is Therianthropy Day, I have decided to join in the fun of this Otherkin Challenge from last year that I stumbled upon by accident.
Each day, until I've gone through all 30 prompts, I'll post a response based on either my theriotype (black panther/jaguar) or my kintype (Jötunn/giant).
The rules of the challenge said to pick just *one* kintype, but I'm both Therian *and* Otherkin, so I'm doing both and no one can stop me. 😜
So, here we go...
Day 1: What kind of dirt would your kintype eat?
Jaguar - Rainforest dirt. Duh. What, you think I'mma eat any old dirt? That dirt better be full of luscious plant matter and devoid of nasty rainforest ants, OK?
Jötunn - Ummm. Why do I feel like he's more likely to eat dirt than the cat? 😅 I was gonna say something like snowy dirt, but I'm getting some really strong clay vibes on this one. ...... You know what, I don't wanna know. 😆
(Also, just some background info to clarify... My cat theriotype is almost always female/feminine to me, and I've affectionately nicknamed her Riva. My Jötunn kintype, on the other hand, is the opposite - always male/masculine. I don't have a name or nickname for him currently. Therian disclaimer: Yes, I know that they are both me. This is just how I choose to process and describe my theriotype and kintype. ^^)

Leona x that one black panther oc you have. I love him.
Fluff please
hi! thank you so much for requesting! <333 it's a bit short, but i think it came out cute!
-
character: leona kingscholar, twst
contains: oc used as main character - not an x reader, fluff, male main character
view the oc here. for basics, he's more or less a black panther beastman (referred to as hybrid, as they are different things, but similar) named yuujirou. you can read the fanfic i'm writing for him here (quotev) or here (ao3).
Dealing with Savanaclaw's dorm leader was typically a difficult task, Yuujirou wouldn't lie.
But, sometimes, he truly did grant a sense of peace like no other. There wasn't many others that had big cat heritage like the two of them, and especially not with their kind of presence either. Leona and Yuuji were predators, and quite a duo, too.
Not that anyone would be able to tell from where they were now, lounging together in the Botanical Gardens without a care in the world.
The hybrid had more or less accidentally ended up volunteering to look after Leona for the day for Ruggie, upon hearing about how the hyena beastman had recently fallen ill to a cold (believe him when he says he'll be visiting Ruggie later, too), not that he could complain about it.
There was rarely something that came anywhere close to being as comforting as being in a heap with other big cats, the panther had found. Even more so when it was noted how little he got to be in groups like that.
"Tch. You're thinkin' so hard I can practically hear it." Leona rumbled, somewhere between annoyed and affectionate, nudging his head against Yuujirou's shoulder with a huff of his breath. "Spit it out."
"Mn?" The hybrid hummed, nudging back in a show of affection, a light purr making it's way through his chest as their tails intertwined. "Nothing much. It's just nice here. Maybe I should join you more often..."
"Hmph. That's what I've been tellin' you."
Though his tone was gruff, Yuujirou could tell that Leona was pleased, the lion taking his time to cuddle into the jaguar more, and it wasn't long until they drifted off together with purrs rumbling through the air.

Did you ever get the chance to watch Wakanda Forever? If you did, what was your verdict on it?
I hadn't, but your ask reminded me to and I had some free time this weekend, so I finally did!
I think, for me at least, every opinion I have about this movie comes with the big asterisk of "considering the circumstances". The loss was conveyed very well, and the resulting grief and revenge-centric plot was very effective. But it was also forced to be that by the aforementioned circumstances, and you can tell this isn't quite the story they wanted to tell, but rather had to.
Anyway, I enjoyed the movie! It was pretty good. I'll give you my positives and negatives list.
Positives:
-I really liked Shuri's journey as the Black Panther! It did retread similar territory as T'Challa's Civil War storyline, but Shuri's path was a lot more wrathful and morally dubious. Her suit's cool, but sometimes the CGI made her look shockingly thin - as in, more than she naturally is, which was a bit distracting.
-Riri's suits are cool! I think the only part I would change is the helmet on the Mark 2 - just looks kinda generic android-y to me. Personality-wise she felt a bit all over the place - I think of her as a very headstrong, reckless, and kind of arrogant character, and there were shades of that but not enough - but she did make me laugh a couple times.
-Everything Talokan was super cool. I can't believe they gave them siren powers, I didn't know about that! I do feel like they kinda nerfed Wakanda just to make them more of a threat, when they didn't really need to. Namor was pretty fantastic, too - true to form, an extremely powerful and dangerous bastard you love and hate to see in action, and definitely a guy you want to try and keep on the good side of whenever possible.
-I didn't really care for the CIA storyline but Martin Freeman's character was nice to see again
-Killmonger in the Ancestral Plane was pretty much perfect. Love to see him call out the flaws in the royal family while remaining blind to his own - good stuff for Shuri to recognize, but not the mentor she needed. Michael B. Jordan continues to kill it - really most of the cast was great!
Negatives:
-Like I said, most of the CIA stuff wasn't very interesting. I get the feeling Valentina's supposed to be some quirky flavor of Amanda Waller and she's just not doing it for me. (kinda made me miss Victoria Hand and Rosalind Price...)
-Killing off Queen Ramonda felt like the wrong choice to me. Flooding the capital and destroying who knows how many livelihoods with the threat of taking his violence worldwide is more than enough motivation for a revenge trip, IMO, if not as personal. It's not like Shuri fully loses her moral center when she dies, either - M'Baku's there and she obviously chats with Ramonda herself in the Ancestral Plane - so it felt more cruel than necessary to me. Then again, you know me, I don't really like character death 99% of the time.
-While I did like the design overall, I feel like it was a big mistake to have Riri make her first proper suit in someone else's story. It's not like T'Challa or Peter in Civil War, who are already established heroes (in a sense) and whose origins can get neatly summed up - you really need to show how this previously unknown teenager can go from 0 to reverse-engineering the Iron Man suit. Feels like they robbed her of her moment a bit.
-Just like Black Panther 1, the CGI was sometimes distractingly noticeable (not as bad as that Panther v. Jaguar battle though, that was a pretty atrocious point in an otherwise great movie).
