Hi, If Shinichi was part of Kira's case instead of L , what outcome would have been?and What is the difference between Shinichi and L as Detectives ?
It's been a long time since I've consumed Death Note content outside of all the memes so I can't really answer the second question. I can answer the first though.
Shinichi is dead.
This is not an insult to Shinichi's intelligence. In fact, he would solve the identity of the Kira killer. BUT. L wasn't killed by Light because he could never figure out his name, what he needed to kill him with the death note.
Shinichi is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE at keeping his identity. It took Ran a small amount of time to begin to suspect him. Then Heiji found out. Then KID. Then Vermouth. Then Eisuke. We're positive that Akai knows. Sera and Mary know. Rei is now confirmed to know.
Light would figure out Conan Edogawa is Shinichi Kudo and kill him with the death note.

Small Sponning
How did this happen?
Nikaido Eisuke found himself in an unfamiliar position—quite literally, as the smaller spoon.
He had unknowingly drifted into a nap alongside Y/n, and upon awakening, he discovered himself nestled against her, her arms encircling him snugly.
Unaccustomed to being the smalle spoon in their embrace, Nikaido was used to holding Y/n close, assuming the role of the large spoon. Yet, in this tranquil moment, their sleeping positions had reversed.
As he attempted to gently disentangle himself, Y/n stirred, reflexively holding him tighter in her sleep.
Escaping her grasp without disturbing her seemed impossible.
Deciding to stay, he found solace in this position. Cradled in her arms, it was a different kind of comfort, one that whispered reassurance, a sanctuary of safety.
Nuzzling into her, Nikaido relished the moment.
"Mmmh… Eisuke?" Y/n's drowsy voice emerged as she rubbed her eyes. "What time is it?"
Refusing to let go, Nikaido clung onto her.
"Come on, we have to get up," she gently insisted.
"Let's stay like this," he countered, holding onto her steadfastly.
Unable to pry herself away from his embrace, Y/n relented.
Her fingers threaded through his hair. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing, just stay with me," he murmured.
His unusual neediness caught her attention. Y/n pressed her lips to his forehead, planting a tender kiss.
"One more," he softly pleaded.
Amused, Y/n brushed his hair back and placed another kiss on his forehead.
After the lingering sensation of her kiss faded, Nikaido let out a faint whine.
Y/n cupped his cheek. "Feeling particularly needy today?"
Nevertheless, she peppered his features with kisses, starting from his eyebrow and tracing a path to his nose, cheek, and finally the corner of his lips, concluding with a gentle peck.
Nikaido finally found contentment.
"Y/n."
"Yeah?"
"Love you," he murmured, nestling closer against her once more.

Finished Emio – The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club aka FMC3 or just Emio and holy shit that was a roller coaster.
Gameplay definitely feels updated from the 2021 remakes but not so much that it feels like a different game.
Those characters holy shit. Kamihara had frat boy vibes during his first scene but his voice actor was so good I started growing attached anyway and eventually started shipping him with the protag (Taro Ninten is the closest we have to a default name).
Taro has two hands: one for Ayumi and one for Kamihara. Anyway here's a break before I do spoilers.
Okay before I talk about the climax and especially the epilogue I want to call out Junko Kuze for trying to murder me and then stealing my fucking boyfriend. I love her and she's a fascinating character but she married Taro's boyfriend and I'm salty about it.
Okay so that ending. I had figured out that Makoto thought he was Minoru but I wasn't sure if he had some amount of amnesia or if Emio had fucked with his mind. Turns out it was mostly the amnesia but Emio certainly didn't help matters. Although it wasn't as intentionally malicious of a thing as I originally thought given...
When the game basically had Utsugi go "yeah the epilogue's gonna be real fucked up so make sure you're ready before you start it" I was concerned. The game hadn't provided a content warning before this point so I wondered what could be so severe that they'd provide one now. Watching it basically right before bed was probably a bad idea but somehow I had no nightmares (I did have an irrational "what if Emio's in the dark hallway" that made me use my phone flashlight more than I usually would but that's typical for me with horror games. Happened when I watched Markiplier play FNAF all those years ago but I handled it much better as an adult than as a child).
It was tragic and certainly extreme but the things that happened to Minoru never felt unrealistic. A child drowning as part of her effort to escape her abusive father, her older brother killing their father, and said older brother delusionally believing she was somehow still alive all feels like it could be a real story. The key here is that nobody ever stepped in to help Minoru. People recognized there was a problem all the way back when the father's abuse ramped up but nobody ever stepped in. The juvenile detention center heard him talk about Emiko as if she was still alive and did nothing. The Todorokis never pried into his personal life, which is generally a good and respectful thing to do, but we know he will open to people he trusts given he told Ayaka everything about his past. Ayaka was really the only person who tried but she was 17 and already going through a lot herself. She did seem to be helping him open up but once he saw she was being physically abused he projected Emiko onto her and only spiraled downward from there.
And yet despite all of this Utsugi reminds you what this guy actually did. He killed Ayaka after she freaked out at seeing him kill her abusive father (she also hated the guy but seeing your older brother figure kill someone with no remorse is understandably terrifying). He killed two more girls the same way simply because they were scared of him. He kidnapped a now amnesiac Makoto and told him they were both Minoru Tsuzuki and needed to find Emiko. He almost killed again 18 years later only to have his head bashed in by Makoto who had finally remembered who he was thanks to Junko's bookmark. I'm skipping over a lot of things but suffice to say the man ruined a lot of lives. His backstory is not an excuse nor does it mean he should be forgiven. It explains why he did these things and shows us how to avoid similar events.
As for Junko, I love her story. You can understand why she said she knew nothing even though it was in her and her brother's best interest for her not to lie. You understand why she makes Eisuke's suicide look like the murders from 18 years prior. You understand why she goes to the abandoned village alone. You understand why she claims to have killed Minoru. You understand why she threatens Taro's life for Makoto's sake. And yet all of those choices were awful. Had she not lied, her brother's disappearance would have been looked into for much longer as it was now a kidnapping. She stole a suicide note and hid it from everyone, including the victim's family and friends. She shuts Kami out of her investigation and leaves both him with doubts he doesn't want to acknowledge (hence why he lashes out at Taro for pointing out all the reasons Junko's behavior is suspicious). She threatens to kill someone who only showed up because he believed she was in danger. She knows all of this was wrong and it's clear the guilt has been eating her alive, especially after what she did to Eisuke's death. She apologizes through tears while holding Taro at gunpoint and after explaining herself to him still can't go through with pulling the trigger. She just wants her older brother back and was doing anything she could. And while she does have him back, he's going to need a lot of support through physical rehab, hopefully intensive therapy, and a reintroduction to society (he was going into town but pretty much only to do construction work and then leave). And she has to apologize to Eisuke's family and friends. And to Taro, though he doesn't seem to be holding a grudge. Also "I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience I may have brought to your lives" is the funniest way to genuinely apologize for almost murdering someone.
Many characters in the game have been through some sort of childhood trauma. Our protagonist, Ayumi, Junko, Makoto, Minoru, Ayaka, Megumi, Eisuke, Kohei, Mama Shoko, and more. Only Minoru ends up being a serial killer. Only Junko and Makoto do terrible non-murder things. All the rest of these characters do nothing of the sort. Some acquire the supports of both peers and the adults around them, others manage to pull through largely on their own, and some we will never know how their story would have gone as it ended far too soon (either of their own volition or not). The game never says that childhood trauma = doing awful things. The game warns that ignoring signs that someone, especially a child, is not okay will often end in tragedy. Someone has to step in. Only a few people are obligated to intervene, but if the people who are supposed to intervene don't or are part of the problem then someone else must.
Eisuke's friends believe he committed suicide until they're told the crime scene doesn't match that. And yet they were right. They were the only ones who noticed something was wrong, but neither of them were able to do anything besides ask him if he was okay (he'd lie and say he was).
One last thing before I stop writing because wow this post is long: I love how Fukuyama was genuinely just a good guy with negative people skills. I was so worried he was doing something to Megumi and finding out that his response to her confession was to try to turn her down gently while clarifying that he did care about her as a teacher is supposed to care about their students. He didn't succeed in explaining that to her and she ended up assuming the harshest possible interpretation, but she seemed to already have a very concerning view on love (someone doesn't return her romantic feelings and her next question is "do you hate me?") so I'm not sure even the best possible wording could've helped there. As for him and Ayumi, it's up to interpretation whether he's interested in her romantically or not, but I choose to see it as him seeing her as his first student to grow up. He never formally taught her, but he was her upperclassman in naginata club. So she's the first person who he helped teach that he gets to see thriving as an adult. And now they're functionally peers, with her being able to comfort him about how Eisuke's death is not his fault as he had no way of knowing how things would go and made the best choices he could (he also literally saves Megumi + the whole case about midway through the game).

What the actual fuck is happening to Detective Conan.
Man I'm not even talking about them making Shinichi and Kaito cousins which was indeed the dumbest not to say irrational decision they could've made on the new movie. I'm not even saying it as a kaishin shipper (Which I am) but as a franchise fan. First of all, it was an unnecessary thing to add, like, we could have lived without it. Second of all, talking about business, I bet there were people who only watched the movies and OVAs with KiD for the fan service that they have on them. Which confuses me because Gosho ain't stupid. He knew what he was doing, so why change now? He built all this tension and suddenly decided to let it die?
Also, Toichi being alive makes Kaito's history a lie. He became KiD because his dad was murdered (Which apparently he wasn't) and his mom knew????
While this could give Kaito's narrative more dramatic, when is Gosho going to develop that? He hasn't even finished developing Shinichi.
And making them cousins? The same thing happened to Akemi and Akai.
Because Gosho decided that the Miyano's and the Scarlet family were going to be important for the story after making them a couple.
At this point, I think that Gosho makes up p the plot as he makes the show. Like, at this point the only thing making the black organization unbeatable is the big ass quantity of money Gosho makes with the series.
But, my theory is that, well, nothing is eternal and the series is slowly dying. People are getting bored.
The sequence was starting to get annoying.
After 50 filler episodes we get some minimum plot. And when we think we are getting closer to the end, boom, new character who has more plot to be explored and shit like that. Happened with Akai, then with Eisuke, then with Sera and then Amuro, etc...
And while I get that those characters are important to the main plot, people get tired of waiting and not receiving anything for years.
And so Gosho has decided to make a bunch of plot related stuff.
Like taking Magic Kaitou out of his 7 years (I believe not sure) hiatus.
Like making a connection between the families of his two protagonists.
Which leads me to two theories.
Detective Conan is ending.
I genuinely think that the show won't last a decade more and Gosho is trying to finish it while he can.
And maybe detective conan will enter a hiatus while Magic Kaito gets new content.
Damn.

I’m curious. So if Yuzu and Kei were on the list, would Eisuke and Toshiki be bumped off?
Technically I guess they would but ahhhh that’s a hard question to ask. This is why I don’t like ranking my preferences to be honest 🤣 It’s like asking me to rank my friends. I feel like I’m betraying the ones sitting at a lower position somehow haha
Just to be clear, I love more characters than the ones I’ve mentioned. It’s just that rankings are very restrictive, which is why I’m not fond of them in a way. Even if Eisuke and Toshiki would be removed from the ranking, I still love them. There are many different reasons why I love these characters. With some of them, I love everything about them, or their initial characterization, while with others it’s their development, and sometimes it’s the relationship they have with the MC
As for Toshiki, I haven’t read a lot of his stories and RMD content overall, but I know his characterization has a lot to offer. He’s a cutie pie and so very handsome. And the title can be quite funny or angsty which is to my taste. I put him last since I have read less stories about him.
When it comes to Eisuke, there’s a long history about him that I’m fond of, and I love the KBTBB universe. However with the amount of seasons he got, I couldn’t keep up at some point and stopped reading, and now I don’t know what I’ve read and what I haven’t read yet from him. But when it comes to making art content, I’ve often been inspired by him, and he’s a good character overall, despite the repetitive plots of KBTBB, I love him a lot and I understand that it’s due to marketing that the writers milked content as much as they could. As for the character himself, he’s great and I simply put him at the bottom of the ranking because there are other LIs I read more now that I can keep up with more easily
There are a lot of characters I love and even if they didn’t make it into this made up ranking, that doesn’t mean I don’t love them if that makes sense. I don’t really take rankings very seriously and simply enjoy reading what I like. I’ve started Voltage stories through MLFK, so that title has a special place in my heart and especially Ayato and Taka ❤️
I’m obviously very much obsessed with MK and that’s no surprise, so if I had to add Kei and Yuzu, they would be right under the Boss in the 3rd and 4th positions. It’s the title I read the most because I’m someone who likes to play and buy things I know I can’t be disappointed with. I tend to focus on doing things I love over and over again instead of exploring new things. I didn’t add Kei and Yuzu because since I post so much about MK, people tend to ask me things only about MK and don’t know or forget that I read other titles. I guess I just wanted to show other titles to let people know that I enjoy other characters as well
HLITF is my second favorite title after MK, and that’s because the universe is so original, because Kaga is a freaking great character (that deserves more recognition honestly!), Ayumu’s character development is impressive (I fell in love with the story that showed his past especially), and Tsugaru’s story has so much to offer. You’ll laugh, cry, be scared, feel frustrated because it’s slow burn, and be happy
Thank you for the ask!

I keep thinking back about the interview with Tsurune's director and how literally every sentence of it just confirms everything I've ever said about the anime and it almost freaks me out.
Like, yeah, those were very obvious things from the start. The fact that the animators see kyudo as a sport, the fact that the director completely ignores Minato's flaws, the fact that season 2 favors Eisuke above other characters. But was I expecting the director himself to just... outwright say all of it? To just literally call kyudo a sport, talk about how he wanted Minato to show nothing but positivity and express how much he likes Eisuke on a personal level?
I gotta be honest, I didn't think it would be so in-your-face. And so not self-aware it's almost funny. This man really has no idea.
But maybe even more obvious than that is the way his lack of exprience bleeds through the things he says. The way he talks about his accomplishments and shortcomings when working on S2 screams newbie, even though this is his third title as a director. He did improve significantly from S1 to S2, but by God, there's still a lot of room for a lot more improvement.
The one thing that really gets me is how the Minato-Shuu-Eisuke trifecta has been confirmed as the narratologic focus of this season. If we ever get a sequel of the anime (which, considering how S2 ended and how Tsurune keeps doing collabs left and right until now, we probably will), I wonder who's going to be given the spotlight. Haneina wasn't remarkable enough to be the new Tsujimine and Kirisaki didn't show up much in volume 3, but Yamamura won't be caught dead giving Masaki's character any proper attention.
I suppose there's enough content to make a whole season while mostly shoving him to the back again, given how much shit happens in volume 3. Still... would they just completely ignore the thing with Masaki's biological father? They kinda already erased the hints of it that appear on volume 2 in this season, so maybe they’ll sweep it under the rug and call it a day?
I have seen people straight-up saying that they don't want KyoAni to adapt volume 3 for a multitude of reasons, and a lot of them include the fact that Masaki often gets pushed away like he doesn't belong there. It's not even just because he's a fandom favorite, but also because much of the plot is linked to him. As always, I'll be taking what I can get if we ever get that far, but I'd be lying if I said that the story feels complete (or anywhere near the general area of satisfactory, tbh) without his side of things.

me: *opens Love 365 app* ah another eisuke story *closes app*
Voltage, how long do you keep squeezing the hell out of ktbb and eisuke, let the man rest,
ok good for his fans maybe, idk not to offend anybody but God damn focus a little on the other titles... at this point these posts of mine, or fellow fans or even those surveys are good for nothing... voltage will do as it pleases and create more content for what generates revenue until the end of universe... while ignoring most other titles

A Past Long Forgotten?
Chapter 16 - The Final Chapter
Words ~ 3141

⚠️ Warning for sexual content ⚠️
This is the final chapter to A Past Long Forgotten? My first attempt at a multiple chapter fic!
Thanks to those who have read it, I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it! ♡
The ticking of the clock filled the silence of Eisuke’s suite. Having changed out of her racy dress and into some joggers and an oversized t-shirt, she made herself comfy on his plush sofa. Her legs crossed and a steaming coffee in her hand.
Upon their return to the hotel, everyone had dispersed, making various excuses for needing to return to their rooms immediately. It was obvious they were being considerate. Allowing Eisuke and MC some time to talk.
While she was thankful for their consideration, the thought of being alone with Eisuke to discuss them had her feeling nervous.
Uncharacteristically so.
Like she was that seventeen year old girl who was totally besotted with him all over again.
Well, it wasn’t the farthest thing from the truth.
She knew very well she was in love with Eisuke. But having to close those feeling off for the last seven years, the idea of them being brought out again had her heart racing.
Eisuke sat on the same sofa. Holding an identical cup of coffee. This had a familiar feeling to it. Odd, considering Eisuke and MC hadn’t been a couple for almost a decade. Odd considering all the time they had spent apart.
Yet this felt right.
She could sense his eyes on her. She tried desperately not to acknowledge his look. Not to look back. For should she look back, the comforting silence would be broken, and deeper discussions would fill that silence.
Why was she so nervous? It was Eisuke, for goodness sake! She had known him since they were kids. Except… he wasn’t just Eisuke anymore… he was THE Eisuke Ichinomiya. The Hotel King. The very Eisuke Ichinomiya, who sat on her agencies blacklist, yet never acted shady enough for them to investigate him too thoroughly. Although spending time with him and on her mission involving Spencer had taught her, he was just very good at covering his tracks.
“MC…” His voice told her she wasn’t going to be lucky enough to avoid this discussion forever. She looked up. Their eyes meeting. “Your eyes really are the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen. They always held me captive when we were younger. They drew me straight to you when you came to my hotel before, and even now. I can’t help losing myself in them” He whispered sweetly.
“Eisuke…” She had barely whispered his name.
“Dinner, 7:30pm, every day while you are on your break from missions.” He commanded.
She looked at him in surprise. Dinner? She thought he had wanted to talk?! Reading her facial expressions like a book, Eisuke smirked.
“Look… I haven’t forgotten what I said. I want to talk. But I think we should have that talk once we have spent some time just going on a few dates. I want to hear about what the last seven years have been like for you”.
“Ok! That sounds good!” She smiled. Getting up from the sofa, she started heading towards the kitchen with her cup.
“MC?” Eisuke asked, confused.
“It’s late, I should be heading back. Don’t tell me… you’re going to miss me that much?” She joked, smiling at his pouting face.
“Stay here, I have a spare suite you can use for the night” Eisuke offered, although it sounded more like a command.
“Sure, thank you Eisuke” She smiled gratefully, knowing if she refused, he would probably tell her she would be staying in his suite instead so he could ensure she was safe.
Satisfied with her response, Eisuke showed her to the spare suite she would be using for the night. Lingering at the door for a moment, Eisuke combed his fingers gently through her locks before pulling his hand away and heading back to his own suite.
Her heart was racing. God, she loved this man. And starting tomorrow night, they would be going on daily dates, getting to know what the other had been up to these last seven years.
Then… then they would talk.
***
It had been almost 2 weeks of evening dates with Eisuke. Dinners, walks, movies. Eating French, Italian, English, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine. Watching romances, actions, comedies. They had been sweet, romantic date settings.
But not only that, they had talked about so many different things.
She had told Eisuke fully what had happened when she had been kidnapped. How she had found the EAC. How she had been hired. Some of the sort of missions she had been on (hiding the details too confidential to spill). How she had contacted Luke due to injuries and what sort of injuries she had had.
Eisuke told her about his time at university. How he felt when Akira asked him to take over the Ichinomiya Group. When he had developed his first hotel. How he had met the other bidders. The reasons behind the auctions.
They had both discussed how their families were doing. And then other topics, such as dating in the last seven years, reminiscing over school days. Reminiscing over their relationship.
And with each date, she felt herself falling deeper and deeper in love, all over again, with Eisuke.
Tonight was no different. They were discussing the usual topics. Yet when 10pm came, and they made it back to the hotel, neither wanted to say goodnight like they had done every night previously.
“MC…” Eisuke spoke, his hand combing through her hair. Her eyes meeting his, “Saying goodnight, and going our separate ways each night, it is my least favourite part of the evening”
“Mine too.” She blushed. She didn’t want to say goodnight and not be falling asleep with him. “Hey Eisuke—”
Yet, just as she went to ask him to stay with her, he interrupted her.
“Come back to my suite with me?” He asked, his voice seductive in her ear.
“I’d like that” She responded without hesitation. Accepting Eisuke’s hand, she followed him up to his suite.
Eisuke wrapped one arm around her shoulder, encouraging her to snuggle into his side, resting her head upon his shoulder. He rested his head on hers and wrapped his other hand around her own. His fingers ghosting circles across her arm and palm.
“I told you we would talk when we got back. And while I typically am not a man who expresses his emotions to others, I believe I cannot ask you to tell me how you feel, without telling you how I feel. So, I am going to go first… then you, ok?” Eisuke spoke gently to her. She nodded from her place in his arms.
His grip tightened slightly, seeming as though he was nervous. Uncharacteristic of the him he portrayed to others. After taking a calming sip of his coffee and placing down the cup, he began opening up to her.
“When you disappeared seven years ago, I searched for you every day. I swore I would find you. I locked my heart away until I found you and could return it to you. You had my heart throughout our youth. You were the only one worthy of my heart. I believed that would be the case for always. But no matter how much I searched for you, you were gone. No trace. As if you never existed. I won’t lie to you, over these last seven years, I have had many meaningless nights with various women. Truthfully, it was to fill the void left by you being gone. But no one could fill the void. I was always me, but I felt myself becoming colder and harsher. So, when I saw you again that night at my hotel, in my casino, I felt my heart begin to thaw. I knew it was you, immediately. I have never met anyone with eyes like yours. But you ran. I was hurt but also relieved. You were alive. And if you were alive, it meant I could find you. Finding you showed me that my heart still belonged solely to you. My feelings had not changed in these seven years. MC… not once did I stop loving you. Wanting you. Searching for you. I always have and will continue to love you.”
His words were so deep, meaningful, and words she had never expected to hear from Eisuke. He deserved her respect back, her honesty.
“Eisuke… when I was rescued by the EAC, my first thought was that I hoped you were ok. I wanted to run back to you, but I had this sense that I needed to find the man who I had met, and I wanted to work like he did, saving others. Since I was already gone, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to go. Why come back, just to say goodbye? But the truth was, that was difficult. After I was hired, I had numerous missions, in and around where you were. I tirelessly tried to avoid bumping into you, for if I saw you, I knew I would want to run into your arms. But I couldn’t. I had given up my life. No one could be as close to me as I wanted us to be. So, I stayed away. Always keeping my heart as yours alone. Sure, I had boyfriends here and there. Nothing serious, more just hookups that lasted a few weeks or months. But never once did I find someone I loved, like I loved you. When I had my mission at your hotel, I was nervous to bump into you. So, when I did, and you seemed to recognise me immediately, I had to run. Because I sensed myself falling back into the same feelings from seven years earlier. Then I asked them to transfer me, so I could run from you again. Yet still, you found me. soon I went from wanting to run from you, to wanting you to find me and never let me go. Eisuke, the truth is, I am so madly in love with you that I can’t escape you. I never once stopped loving you, no matter how hard I tried to fight it…”
“That’s the truth?” Eisuke whispered.
“That’s the truth.” She confirmed.
His arms circled around her back, pulling her into his lap. Holding her in place securely by her waist. His eyes searched hers, foreheads pressed together.
“Be mine again MC. For good, this time” Eisuke whispered, holding up a familiar looking ring. Smiling, MC nodded to him, delighted as he slipped the old promise ring onto her finger. Stealing a deep, all-consuming kiss from her.
That kiss became deeper, and his tongue wetted her lower lip, trying to coax her mouth open, to let him inside. As she let out a slight gasp at the pleasurable sensation rising up inside her, Eisuke wasted no time in sliding his tongue between her slightly parted lips, allowing it to dance with hers.
Meanwhile, their hands roamed carelessly over one another’s bodies. Tugging away the clothes that rudely separated them. Flinging them away, as if they were unimportant. Eisuke’s eyes, glazed over with his lust and desire, only saw her. She had no doubt; her eyes saw only him. Filled with that same desire.
Eisuke dragged his tongue along her neck, teeth nipping at her most sensitive spots. His hands worked to find her other sensitive spots. One massaging her breast, while the other found purchase between her legs, stroking her inner thigh, deriving a moan from her lips.
MC didn’t like to be the only one receiving pleasure. She was competitive and wanted Eisuke to feel just as much pleasure as he was giving her. So, she allowed her hand to stroke down his chest, teasingly over his hip, before it met his throbbing, hard length. His desire for her was evident in the way it twitched as her hand glided over the bulge. His eyes darkened more as his need for her increased.
MC allowed herself to rub the tip gently before she began to pump his hard length. Beginning slowly, allowing him to enjoy the pleasurable stimulation she provided. Before finally increasing in speed. She felt Eisuke gasp into her neck. The knowledge that he was enjoying this only spurred her on further.
His fingers made their way into her wet folds, rubbing the sensitive nub, causing her breath to hitch and her body to tremble. God, she wanted him.
“Eis…uke” She moaned his name, encouraging him to increase his attack. She could feel her body trembling from the pleasure he was inflicting. But it wasn’t enough. She wanted to feel him. She wanted to make love to him. “I need you”.
“I-I know baby n-nm. I need you too.” He struggled to disguise the groan that escaped him.
Positioning himself behind her, it wasn’t long before she felt him enter her. She could feel him deep inside. Thrusting hard and fast. Knowing exactly what spots to hit to bring them both maximum pleasures.
It was virtually impossible to hold back her moans any longer. With each moan, Eisuke seemed to intensify his movements.
“I-I love you Eisuke” She exclaimed, as she felt her walls tightening around him, before being swept away by her climax. The feel of her coming undone beneath him, aided Eisuke in succumbing to his own release. Groaning as he spilled his seed, continuing to thrust into her prolonging their bliss.
“I love you too, MC” Eisuke said, kissing her forehead once he had recovered from his high.
His lips brushed hers gently, before he kissed the ring which once again sat atop her finger, as if sealing their love in that kiss.
***
A few days later and MCs time off had come to an end. She had returned to headquarters and had been busy with various smaller scale missions since.
A few weeks had now passed since she and Eisuke had rekindled their relationship. He had been messaging her every day, checking in, inviting her to the penthouse if she was free. Unfortunately, fate had not been on their side and she hadn’t seen him since their final date and night together.
Luckily, she had her ring on her finger. A visual representation of his love. A way for her to keep a part of him with her always. She had to cringe at herself. She was in the lovely dovey phase of a relationship, the honeymoon period. The period where she wants to spend all her time with him. this feeling had been foreign to her for the last seven years and so she was slightly surprised at herself.
A text tone drew her attention. Eisuke.
My suite. 8pm tonight. Stay the night,
One thing that had not changed, despite how sweet he was to her, he was still brusque and demanding as always. MC couldn’t help the giggle that escaped her. Luckily for her, she had a clear schedule tonight, so she would be able to see her boyfriend for the first time in a while.
Firing off a quick text confirming their plans, she resumed sorting through her mission report to send over to the Boss.
Evidently, having plans with Eisuke made her work harder and faster, as she had finished well before she normally did when filing her after mission reports. The Boss had a teasing twinkle in his eye when he recognised the same fact.
Sigh… she really was smitten.
With that thought in mind, she headed back to her apartment to prepare for visiting Eisuke.
***
A few hours later and she was inside the elevator heading towards the penthouse. She wasn’t alone, however, as Mamoru too was heading up.
“Haven’t seen ya around recently kid” He spoke nonchalantly, puffing on his cigarette.
“Yeah, I’ve had a few jobs lately which have kept me busy. You still slacking off?” She couldn’t help but giggle, to which Mamoru granted her a half-hearted scowl.
“To think I’d missed seeing ya face ‘round here, then ya go and say that” He huffed.
“Aw you missed me, I’m touched.” She joked, still laughing.
“Saracastic kid” Mamoru replied, but he couldn’t mask the smile on his face.
As the elevator doors opened up to the lounge, Mamoru and MC were still laughing. A fact that brought a possessive thrown to Eisuke’s features.
“Don’t look at me like that!” MC blurted, as she approached where he sat.
“Hmph looks like you’re having fun” He spoke begrudgingly. Something MC found very amusing.
“Wow, I haven’t seen you in weeks and the first thing you do is moan. Jeez, I missed you too sweetheart.” She rolled her eyes sarcastically.
Eisuke shot up from his seat. Grabbing her wrist and dragging her from the lounge to his suite. She could hear the bemused laughter of the others behind them as they left.
As soon as they were inside his suite, Eisuke shut his door, crashing his lips onto hers, in a deep, erratic kiss. MC did her best to keep up, responding with equal ferocity. Sighs seeping out between them.
“Of course, I missed you baby” Eisuke said, when he finally broke the kiss. His shy honesty melted her heart, and she smiled brightly at him. He smiled back, albeit exasperatedly, shaking his head. “I’ve got something for you, go wait for me on the sofa.” He commanded, yet his face was gentle.
Obediently, MC sat on the sofa, waiting for him to return. When he did, in his hand sat a small square box. Her heart rate increased, unsure of what was happening.
Taking her hand in his, Eisuke looked her square in the eyes.
“MC… Baby… I’m glad I found you again. I am glad you agreed to be mine again. You mean a great deal to me, and the promise ring I gave you seven years ago showed that I felt all these things then… but it didn’t seem right to use the same one for now. So…” He paused, opening the square box. Inside was a diamond ring, which sparkled brightly in the light. It was gorgeous and MC let out a gasp. “This is a new promise ring. One which I am giving you this time around, now that I promise once again, to love you and cherish you always. This ring is a promise of my love, to you”.
“Eisuke!” A few tears cascaded down her soft cheeks. Her smile bright. “I love you so much! I love it, it is beautiful!”
Eisuke smiled at her, before once again crashing his lips to hers as he slid the ring onto her ring finger.
Its glistening symbolising the promise of a bright future, together with her love.
She had tried so desperately to abandon her past, a past that should have been long forgotten.
But no more would she try to lose him to her past.
He was her past.
But he was also her present.
And her future.

YES.
honestly i'm trying not to be a hater because ultraz is obviously just filling the obligatory pseudo-antagonistic new unit role that every new season of an idol anime seems to need
but even though they do work hard, they are making tsubasa's work more difficult. it's not only their fault that her job has been so overwhelming lately, and the primary blame still lies on the agency that's running her ragged, but their behavior is not helping in the slightest
sucks that eisuke feels neglected or like she favors b-pro, but honestly goushi said nothing wrong. tsubasa is legit just so busy these days that she doesn't have time to eat, and this kid wants to sulk because when she finally gets a chance to grab a bite it isn't with him. that is childish
if goushi did anything wrong, yeah, maybe he shouldn't have implied they don't do any "real" work when he doesn't watch their content. but wtf was eisuke on about "you're the childish one for calling me childish" no tf he is not dude you were being childish
anyway for the love of god someone please give tsubasa the break she deserves

Liverleaf/Misumisou (2018)
basic info: directed by Eisuke Naito and co-written by both Rensuke Oshikiri and Mako Tadano. the movie is based on manga series under the same title, created by the aforementioned Oshikiri.
overall ratings: imdb: 6.2/10 rotten tomatoes: 60% letterboxd: 3.2/5
summary: Haruka, after having moved to a stale village all the way from Tokyo, becomes an object of severe bullying, initiated by her classmates. despite the upsetting teases played on her under the leadership of a girl named Taeko, she seeks no reprisal and is content with her life outside school whatsoever, sharing her quality time with the beloved sister of hers. at least until her tormentors decide on setting her parent's house on fire, that resulting in death of both of them and grievous injuries of her sibling. the only person left, apart from her deceased nearest and dearest, in whom she seems to find reassurance is her classmate Mitsuru. having developed faint infatuation for the boy, Haruka is however unable to cope with the magnitude of her loss and embarks on a pursuit for retaliation. having brutally dealt with most of her bullies, she eventually learns the bitter truth about the obsessive feelings Aiba has had towards her, those resulting in ultimately harming her and beating almost to death.
my thoughts: the overall atmosphere of the movie is quite captivating - the melancholic and elongated shots with characters being surrounded by the remoteness of the village's natural stagnation, as well as the nature being a mute witness of youthful cruelty. what especially made a greater impression on me was the sequence of scenes leading towards the end of the movie - featuring Haruka, Mitsuru and Rumi fighting for their lives (quite literally) against the flashing white of fresh snow. its purity becoming an outstandingly accurate contrast for the blood covering their bodies and a blank canvas for the redness splashing all over the place. those frames were entrancing in a way and seemed almost ethereal to me personally, putting the surrealistic plot twist taking place at the same time aside (that is, Mitsuru is revealed to have some concerning, abusive tendencies and claims to had attacked Haruka's grandfather, with whom she wanted to stay and take up on a feasibly normal life in the future - and therefore declined the boys suggestion to remain by his side for a change).
secondly, what i found particularly interesting, is the portrayal of the motifs standing behind bullying in general. there's a couple of interjections concerning the parental background of some of the classmates continuously bulling Nozaki, those environments being rather dysfunctional or unhealthy in a way. taking Yoshie for instance, whom Haruka harmed with piercing her eyeball with an exceptionally spiky stick later on - she must have been extremely frustrated with her own life, feeling like it was worthless in comparison with what her hopeless target had. that is, lack of a stable home, loving parents and most importantly, of empathy. in opposition to the drunkard of a father, whose whims she was forced to abide by under the threat of being slammed with a glass bottle or whatever horrible incident my imagination is able to project me in this very moment. that desperation to prove herself wrong about her inferiority as a human being is then converted into hatred and eventually results in an utterance about wanting Nozaki to kill herself, as if it would end Yoshie's personal torment. another case is the one of Taeko, who is the very origin of bullying targeted at Haruka in the first place. the most puzzling thing about the relationship between the two girls is the fact, that Taeko - despite the monstrosities she decided to perform on Haruka - still holds onto memories and flashbacks referring to times when both of them seemed to be good friends. to my perspective, Taeko is unable to process defeat in a healthy way (as the probable reason for Haruka becoming her victim is her allegedly engaging in a romantic relationship with a crush of hers and, as a result, Taeko automatically feeling like she has to manifest her superiority) and is very troubled in terms of coping with her emotions in general. throughout the majority of the movie she is rather passive in the face of persecuting targeted at Nozaki or later on Rumi too, not only securing herself the position of the leader behind those but also that of an individual on a verge of utmost uncertainty - in reality, i'd say it's doubtful whether she wanted all of this in the first place. that is, ultimately, Taeko ends up on her knees in front of Haruka, begging her to forgive her for the harm she caused and miseries she brought upon the protagonist's life.
thirdly (uhh), i would like to introduce my take on the kind of love Aiba develops towards Nozaki. apart from the obviousness of the fact that almost every single character in this movie suffers from some kind of mental disorders, Mitsuru seems to go beyond just that - somewhere halfway throughout the film it's revealed, that he had killed his father and purposely beaten his mother, this coming to light just after he has battered his grandma. the boy mentions, in case of his parents, that he did it for some twisted affection towards them, just as if he was solemnly certain of the righteousness of his brutality. an akin fate meets Haruka, who manages to find comfort in Aiba throughout the roughest patches in her school life, him also being her only friend at that time. eventually, on the occasion of Mitsuru being ready to give up his life in the village to secure an assistance for Haruka, who is supposed to move back to Tokyo with her grandfather anytime soon, he finds himself rejected by his infatuation. the alleged feeling he had for her rapidly melts into a mixture of appreciation and loathing towards her. this comes down to, let's say, climax of the movie - a sequence of scenes, in which frantic Rumi, Mitsuru and Haruka face each other for the last time. the moment, in which Aiba casually reaches for his camera to perpetuate the image of his beloved, bleeding out in the indifferent snow, evinces unrestrained, destructive tendencies, that might be the cause preventing him from feeling any kind of sympathy for his surroundings in general - he's keen on hurting the people he adores and seems oblivious to the gravity of his monstrosities.
those aspects aside, let me move onto some more pronounced downsides of the motion picture. first of all, the plot - i might be picky, however the "mean world syndrome" and the subsequent lust for massacre type of story doesn't appeal to me that much and makes the whole movie seem blunt in its essence, almost unrealistic to a point. i do have an impression (but have no idea how exactly is this portrayed in the manga, as i haven't checked it out) that the whole concept of the protagonist becoming a teenage martyr is implied only for carrying out the gruesome scenes (which, by the way, seems like a trope similar to the one in "Girl Hell 1999"). the appalling acts of violence of many sorts are enjoyable after all, however not exceptional - the twisted ways of Haruka dealing with her bullies, whether by slicing one's stomach open or squeezing one's nose with pincers, are gripping and entertaining alone, nevertheless their repetitiveness as a straightforward series of rampage makes them nothing more than that.
my rating: 2.5/5
