Sorry, the app wouldn't let me reply at all and I'm just now back to my computer.

There is a smaller IUD than Mirena, and that's what we're going to try. If that can't be placed I'll have to get the arm thing since I can't be on the shot anymore (cumulative reaction to the injection itself, which I HATE because I love the shot). The idea of the arm thing freaks me out some, though. :/

(Also, I used to have a mirena and it was great; it had to be removed for hormone testing though, and every attempt to place one since has failed.)

As for any sort of anesthesia, yeah. there's apparently some sort of freeze thing they have now but I don't know if that counts. They don't have general, and if they have local they aren't telling me about it. I asked about toradol and the NP said a prescription dose of aleve is more effective... I don't think she realized I was asking about a SHOT of toradol, followed by a day or so of the pills. I have diclofenac and flexeril at home, though, so I'll take those along with my ativan.

I vastly prefer romance in stories to romance stories. I love plot and adventure and world building. Romance is the spice that keeps me coming back for more. Doesn't mean I'd make a meal of it.

​Oh, same, if it's only romance it often gets boring. I have a tendency to not finish romance books or shows because when the pair gets together and they say "I love you" I lose interest because it's all the story was leading to and now it's done so why bother.

My lovely and wonderful friend, you're still younger than me. ;3 26) What are they most passionate about? What could they debate about for hours? One of Fives passions is being a menace to people who menace others. Fives is a merc, it's the thing that pays his bills, and what most people recognise him for, but he also has a habit of slipping into vigilantism more often than a lot of people realise. [It even took Viktor a while to catch on to it.] He wants to make Night City a safer place, not just for the people he loves, but for those who want to quietly go about their day and make it home for dinner, in one piece. He's maneuvered himself into the middle of most things from gunpoint robberies and shakedowns, to out and out gang fights that cause collateral damage. Admittedly after losing Jackie, he has developed the habit of stepping into increasingly dangerous situations for the sake of saving others. Passion's not always a wholly positive thing after all.

As far as debate goes: Fives believes that universal health care needs to be a thing, and that Trauma Team cornering off and privatizing a large chunk of the rapid response medical sector has done far more harm than good in both short and long term.

Heyo. Saw your sad post. Can't even tell you how much I relate. It's super hard to dig yourself out of all the awful depression crap that gets piled on, especially in the last couple years of real-world awful. One thing that helps me, tho, is reminding myself that depression is an emotional effect and a chemical imbalance that our Very Smart Brains work hard to justify logically, which is why we come up with so many reasons to be sad and blame ourselves, cuz we can't think of what else to do.

that’s actually really great advice and not something i’d thought of. depression is kind of a weird one for me because it isn’t like full unipolar depression but a symptom of other conditions -- my chronic illness, for one. i feel like i’m still trying to come to grips with it all i guess, and frustrated i haven’t coped faster >< thank you so much for the encouragement

thanks!! i use paint tool sai mostly, and yes yes i do use references... sometimes. not as often as i should, honestly! the martin sketches were done from memory, taking inspiration from a couple other tma artists who draw martin's body type very nicely
