Addition: it isn’t actually recommended to use literal earthworms in a worm bin, since they don’t actually enjoy that environment. You use species like “einsenia fetida” (red wigglers) and stuff which like shallow environments full of rotting stuff.

Obv. Still check whether or not these are invasive before putting the castings in the ground (if they are, just sterilize the castings first to kill the worms).
