i do think h*ikav*h is the closest thing to a "canon" gay ship in genshin but like

1- they dont come close to the actual canon lesbian ships in honkai and genshin like kiamei bronseele beiguang and eimiko

2- both of them are boring guys recicled from other boring guys and also alhaitham is kinda Weird with the Eremites (see his voiceline about dehya)

3- kaveh will never be kaeya.

Nobody on this earth will ever be kaeya. But also yeah like sorry they are yaoi bait and their dynamic is lame too and also just sorry i don't like kaveh he's a blonde man + his conflicts are boring to me he's literally every architecture student on this earth which is why people like him actually but sorry kaeya is just better.

Also like 😭 one thing about genshin is that it does have like. that being said, soukoku from Bungou stray dogs has been my OTP for years- the enemies/rivals, ex-partners, short/tall, bickering, anger issues, hate relationship but insane trust, mafia/detective dynamic just does it for me. not to mention how both of these characters are insanely well-written and can be appreciated by themselves, even tho they were literally created to complete eachother. (confirmed by author) (other ships i like from BSD are ranpoe, fyolai and sskk)

mizuena from Project Sekai is my favorite wlw pairing, again with the banter. but they deeply care for eachother, adore one another and just their dynamic as friends is wholesome. they understand eachother, help eachother grow and heal with truly inspiring stories. their relationship just feels real. (other pjsekai ships I rly like are ruikasa, anhane and akitoya.

xiaoven might be a very hated Genshin Impact ship but it has a chokehold on me.. the immortal demon/deity troupe is just immaculate. (some of my other ships are haikaveh, cynonari, eimiko, beiguang)

mitsukou from TBHK. they had me when Kou to wanted to die together with Mitsuba so they could live on together as spirirts.. such a platonic thing to want isn't it. all jokes aside, what they have is so precious. Mitsuba is a lonely guy but Kou is always there for him through it all. I'm also a sucker for the human/ghost dynamic.

okay so eimiko is definetly my favorite wlw pairing and in general one of my favorites because they are just so funny. they obviously care about each other and its in a way i know a lot of ppl dont get where theyre jokingly rude to each other but really they care so deeply and love each oher and i want nothing but good things for them even tho its kinda cringe yae waited 500 years for a girl who was busy with her own shit.

beiguang also grew on me because theyre also very funny and remind me of bayonetta and jeanne. rich aunts who show up to the holiday party and give the best gifts. they also obviously like each other a lot and they have such grandiose ways of showing it.

sucrose x rosaria probably counts as a crackship but i like it a lot! i imagine sucrose having a crush on rosaria but is so intimidated and i think rosaria would be like. genuinely interested in conversation and stuff with sucrose. i think they have a lot of potential.
