Neon Carnival Seiyuu Talk Rough Translation!

Hey guys! Neon Carnival, the Nu Carnival anniversary live, was a while ago and we had the pleasure of seeing Eiden’s seiyuu, Netoru Irakusa, and Olivine’s seiyuu, One Night Love. They bantered and answered some game related questions and it was generally a lot of fun!

My japanese is far from perfect, but I tried my best in providing a rough translation of the bit below. Please keep in mind my lack of fluency, therefore, the translation might not be extremely accurate! There’s a fair bit of guesswork through context, so please be considerate and if you spot mistakes you’re free to message me to fix them.

I refer to this translation by idololivine a lot for this. They translated from the chinese live translation of this and the host comments. Everytime I mention something the host said, it is taken directly from their translation, so please be sure to check their work out!

With that, let’s get to it!

Seiyuus come on stage in very high spirits, especially Netoru. Netoru wears a Topper mask and One Night Love wears a plague doctor mask (it’s kind of his thing, part of his persona). One Night greets the audience in Olivine’s voice and is pleased by their energetic reaction to it. Netoru repeats everything One Night says in an exaggerated impression of Olivine’s voice and mannerisms lol

One Night mentions how nice it is to see everyone with their Topper lights. Netoru questions why nobody gave him one and One Night replies with “well, why didn’t you bring your own?” Netoru then says, desperately, “NOBODY TOLD ME TO BRING ANYTHING?!” One Night says they might have gotten him mixed up with Topper himself.

Netoru greets the audience in various languages, ending with an enthusiastic hello in chinese. I felt especially close to this crowd as they cheered excitedly at a sub celebrity saying one basic word in their mother tongue (I’m from Latin America). After that, both seiyuus thank the audience, wish for everyone to have a good time and properly introduce themselves.

The host asks if they’ve ever been to Taiwan before. Netoru says that this is actually his first time leaving the country! One Night asks the audience what time they think they got up that morning and here I would like to give a shoutout to the people that raise their hands IN A HANG LOOSE like yeah dude. Yeah. EDIT: Apparently, this hand gesture means SIX in Taiwan/China WOW I would’ve never guessed!! They’re trying to guess they slept six hours! Thanks to idololivine again!

Anyway, Netoru says they got up at 5AM and went on a WALK (cute), but Netoru specifies that they didn’t go TOGETHER (god forbid anyone thinks you’re doing gay shit), it was mostly them mentioning to each other they each had places they wanted to check out and then they both went their own separate ways. They didn’t even know the other was walking around the same area lol (brave, I’d never do that in an unknown country). Netoru then mentions that everyone in Taiwan is kind and the food is tasty, there’s a lot he still wants to see but they don’t have a lot of time so he wishes he could come back someday.

Then there’s a moment of silence as the translator reminds One Night it’s his turn to speak.

One Night: “AH ………… what was the question again?”

Netoru: “??? DON’T YOU HAVE THE PROGRAMMING WITH YOU?”

AND EVEN THOUGH ONE NIGHT CHECKS HIS NOTES HE STILL NEEDS HELP FINDING WHERE THEY’RE AT I SWEAR. SMOOTH BRAIN MOMENT.

One Night: “It’s also my first time abroad. The food’s really good. When I got here, I thought ‘man, I wanna eat [dishes I don’t know]’, but now that I’ve actually eaten them I don’t really know what to do…”

The crowd starts screaming suggestions. Some yell TAPIOCA and Netoru mentions he’s had it! They do a little bit of encouraging the audience to give them more suggestions and then end with “yeah, I didn’t understand any of that” lmao. They banter a bit more about food.

QUESTION: What was your first impression of your character?

Netoru says he was really surprised to see that the clothes get ripped off as they take damage (this fucking SHOOK him, I swear, he said the same thing during the Eiden birthday QnA). Netoru does some BAAANG sound effects to exemplify what he means and One Night looks at him and goes “what was that?”, so Netoru repeats his BAANG and One Night GETS UP AND SHEDS HIS EIDEN JACKET, REVEALING HE IS ALSO WEARING THE NEON CARNIVAL COMMEMORATIVE T-SHIRT. Then Netoru gets up himself and TOUCHES ONE NIGHT’S CHEST, LIKE THAT’S SOMETHING PEOPLE JUST DO.

One Night shows off the shirt again and says it looks great.

Netoru: “You wanna take your clothes off this bad?”

One Night: “No no… it’s a bit chilly here :)”

Netoru continues, saying when he got the role for Eiden he was initially nervous about playing a guy so laid back and friendly (Netoru mentioned in the Eiden birthday QnA that he’s used to playing darker, moodier characters, so he was surprised to get one that, despite his sad past, is still really optimistic). The host tells Netoru that he’s quite cheery and friendly and Netoru says he’s feeling happy to be here. Netoru ends by saying that, despite it making him nervous initially, he considers this optimism a charming point to Eiden, which One Night agrees with.

The translator asks the same of One Night and I swear the ENERGY emanating from this scene as One Night crosses his leg like a Drag Race judge about to read a competitor to filth and going “OLIVINE NEEEEEEEEE” as the translator mimics his EXACT TONE. PRICELESS STUFF.

One Night: “When I saw him for the first time, what I thought- and I imagine I share this sentiment with many of you - was ‘what the hell is that SSR outfittttt???’”

Netoru: “IS THAT- IS THAT WHY YOU WANTED TO TAKE YOUR CLOTHES OFF JUST NOW?”

One Night: “NO NO NO. DON’T RUIN MY IMAGE LIKE THAT.”

Netoru keeps teasing One Night, encouraging him to get naked and One Night still refuses like NO DUDE STOP IT. They eventually joke around that One Night could do that as training for his role.

One Night says that Olivine is also very endearing and kind, so he was also concerned about portraying that.

One Night: “Also… when I was recording for the main story scenes, right? I thought well, this game… this video-game… it has a lot of sex scenes, right?! So when I recorded the initial Olivine scene I… kinda overdid it. I was thinking ‘wow, how are they gonna match THAT up with Eiden-kun?’ So that was interesting” (One Night refers to the scene as “kagami no shiin” which would be “the mirror scene” but… none of Olivine’s scenes feature a mirror? So… Idk if this is slang or something…)

Netoru: “... We could try it out right now”

One Night: “Oh yeah? Can we?”

Netoru: “NO NO NO, people will get mad if we do”

QUESTION: Throughout this one year, was there any event that was especially memorable to you?

Netoru says he was really surprised about Eiden’s event (I assume he means the one that gave Eiden an SSR), because he thought it was never going to happen, so he was super happy to see it. Netoru uses a weird term I never saw that means more “the event that IMPLEMENTED Eiden”, so One Night says “What do you mean?? He’s always been there?” and Netoru responds “WELL YEAH, BUT HE WASN’T FIGHTING” and One Night concedes.

One Night then comments that he really liked the new feature to add Eiden into the home screen. Netoru asks the audience who put Eiden on their home screen (EVERYONE RAISES THEIR HAND EXCEPT ONE NIGHT? LIKE? I THOT U LIKED IT??).

Then… something I didn’t quite get happens (maybe Netoru also thought it was weird that One Night didn’t raise his hand?) and Netoru asks One Night to look up, to which he says he can’t see much because of his mask. He starts a bit where he walks around the stage looking for Eiden and acting surprised when he sees Netoru there, so Netoru says “BUT YOU COULD SEE ME UNTIL NOW?”

One Night sips a little drinky… for quite a long time. Netoru asks “damn you thirsty??” and when One Night CONTINUES drinking he starts teasing him for it, saying he must be way too free to be doing that. He APOLOGIZES to the audience for his co-star’s audacity and takes a little sippy of his own drink, which One Love takes as a sign that he must too embibe, to Netoru’s utter disbelief. One Night takes a little stroll with his drink on stage and comes back to their seats like… whassup? He comments the stage is quite large and both he and Netoru go each to one corner of the stage to wave at the audience.

When they come back, the host says “so….. let’s continue” and Netoru replies with “OH FUCK YEAH I WAS TALKING”. Netoru continues his earlier point by saying that, during this event, we got to learn about Eiden’s past and that’s why he liked it so much. As a bonus, he mentions that he’s also really curious where Rin’s story in the main story will take them (casually drops that he actually plays the game he works for).

One Night: “An event that was memorable to me…”

Netoru: “Oh, it’s cool, you don’t have to answer this one”

One Night: “??? OK FINE, THEN I WON’T”

Netoru: “Alright, let’s move on!”

Netoru apologizes profusely for this joke and One Night says he isn’t sorry enough, so Netoru gets on his knees and prostrates LOL One Night tells him to get up, he’s forgiven.

One Night mentions there’s been a looot of events, but if he were to pick, he’d probably pick the Christmas event that had just happened prior to this live.

One Night: “It’s ‘cause- ok, before I say anything: who here stans Olivine?” [people raise their green topper lights]

This next line I’m not too sure on, but I THINK he says: “I imagine you stans already thought of this but… don’t you think Olivine’s been showing less skin lately?”

Netoru: “Kinda, yeah”

One Night: “I was like WHAT?! I swear it shocked me more than the story”

QUESTION: Besides your own character, are there any other characters you like?

Netoru: “Well, you already know mine, right?”

One Night: “You don’t even have to say it”

Netoru: “It’s Topper! I want to take Topper-san home!”

One Night: “I know… I KNOW…”

Netoru comments he’s probably super warm to cuddle with in winter. One Night agrees and says he’d like to put him in his bag and take him places, hear him make little kyun kyun noises. They continue to discuss the dynamics of taking Topper around in a bag like oh my god please give these men pets.

One Night: “My favorite character? Topper.”

Netoru: “hey………”

One Night: “IT’S ‘CAUSE HE’S SOOOO CUUUTE”

Netoru: “… wanna fight?”

One Night: “Oh yeah? Wanna go?”

They get up. Netoru starts warming up and, as he turns to face his opponent, One Night has the Topper lightstick that Netoru doesn’t have on hand. It utterly defeats him as he screams “I CAN’T WIN AGAINST THAT”

One Night says that his favorites would probably be Edmond or Blade. He mentions he knows Edmond’s seiyuu, he’s done some other games with him, and that he was looking forward to seeing that seiyuu’s performance as Edmond.

Netoru: “Naughty”

One Night: “I wouldn’t really say naughty… but, well, it’s a little naughty”

(They use the word “yokaranu” here, which I NEVER heard before in my life, but jisho says it just means “bad” so I ASSUME it’s used in a more… ohhh you’re so naughty context)

One Night speaks over the translator here but it sounds like “it’s mutual” before he backtracks and yells “GUYS IT’S NOTHING SUSPICIOUS!” One Night starts poking Netoru and saying “Hey… Netoru… Stop that…” in a whiny voice. Netoru says it’s the first time One Night’s called him by his first name.

For Blade, One Night says it’s really just style, he likes characters with huge bangs that hide their eyes. Netoru points at his face and One Night says that yes, he also covers his eyes, he can’t see much of anything with his mask on.

Netoru: “Let’s make holes for the eyes”

One Night: “No, please, I can’t get a return on Amazon anymore…”

QUESTION: This one’s for Netoru. What’s the difference between top Eiden and bottom Eiden? Can you tell us how you change between the two?

One Night, in an incredibly jealous tone: TOP AND BOTTOM…. WOW HE’S THE FULL PACKAGE!

Netoru says that he doesn’t really think too hard about it? The most important aspect is [looking directly at One Night] understanding your partner’s needs.

One Night: “Understand me. Right now, understand me.” (this was… actually kinda hot? lol)

Netoru gets flustered and reiterates that what really matters is how your partner acts, it enables him to play different types of tops and bottoms (which is crazy to me because they don’t record together so like… how does he do that?).

Netoru then does a tiny bit of an example of top and bottom intonations. BIG MISTAKE, NETORU. Now One Night goes “WELL, WELL, WELL, WHAT’S THIS? GIVE US SOME MORE!”, but Netoru says people will get mad at him if he does. THE FUCKING HOST, HOWEVER, PLAYS THE ACTUAL DEVIL THERE AND EDGES HIM ON, SAYING HE WON’T GET SCOLDED, IT’S OK!! And Netoru actually DOES some more moaning as a treat LMAOO EVERYONE’S DOING A NERVOUS LAUGH ON STAGE AND ONE NIGHT’S SAYING “THIS IS GOING A BIT OFF THE RAILS?”

Netoru does some more fake moaning and One Night says they’re sounding a bit too funny. BIG MISTAKE, ONE NIGHT. Now Netoru’s ACTUALLY moaning, making the crowd go wild and you can JUST FEEL THE EMBARRASSMENT COMING OUT OF THAT PLAGUE DOCTOR MASK IN WAVES LIKE THE FRAGRANCE OF THE HERBS THEY USED TO SHOVE IN THERE BACK IN THE DAY. Netoru ends it by saying that now the audience should be able to tell the difference between top and bottom voice acting (he looks really nervous lol) and that it’s really important to understand the feelings of your partner in the scene.

QUESTION: Olivine has some… audacious scenes. Are there any scenes or lines that became especially memorable to you?

Before answering, One Night makes a point to fix Netoru’s sitting posture, saying that he’s not a child lol

One Night says he doesn’t like picking between stories but there’s definitely one that was super memorable to him: the idol event! One Night sings a bit of the chorus for Summer Dream and Netoru eggs him on like “WHAT? WHAT? CAN YOU KEEP SINGING? I CAN’T HEAR YOU??” until One Night sings THE ENTIRE CHORUS TO US THANK YOU ONE NIGHT LOVE SAMAAA BLESS BLESS BLESS

One Night says he’s never sung many character and unit songs, so he was excited to get to do it for this event. He hopes he can sing more character songs in the future (EXTREMELY wholesome answer for what the crew expected when they put this question in, I’m positive).

QUESTION: If you had to pick a character from the game to date, who would it be?

One Night: “Wait, guys, we’re gonna do it on ‘go’”

They both get up and make a show to stretch and prepare to say their answers.

Both: “Aaaaand GO: TOPPEEEEEEEER”

Netoru: “HE’S CUTE AND WON’T EVER LEAVE ME!”

QUESTION: How do you feel after this 1 year? What would you like to say to your fans here and your fans watching you live?

Netoru: “Thank you so much for everyone who stuck around for this one year. I would like to thank everyone who loves this game and everyone who’s working on the game from the bottom of my heart. I hope you’ll continue to look forward to Nu Carnival! Please keep supporting us!”

That’s… the gist of it at least. Netoru then says “I love you” in japanese, english, korean and mandarin, with an extra “thank you” in mandarin.

One Night says “I love you” in mandarin and the crowd goes WILD seriously taiwanese people I got you so fucking bad you’re all my homies.

One Night: “I’ve only managed to do these amazing things this past year because of everyone who’s been playing the game, thank you very much. I want to come back and celebrate 2, 3 years, so I hope everyone will continue to play until then and the staff will continue to create amazing stories. Please continue supporting the game, thank you very much”

Since we are celebrating the first anniversary of Nu:Carnival, here's to you a completely ot list of my five favorite h-scenes of the game.

I started two days after launch and in this long year I've grinded 200 rooms with the strength of a thousand suns and a lot of patience, so here's my rambling about this crappy game that makes me cry at every cliché put up like I've never seen one in my life <3

5) Quincy Forest Guardian Room 5

I know, all the SR h-scenes are a bit cringeworthy, both in length and in how they are written, and it was only by re-watching them that I actually realized how much they have improved over time.

Anyway, this one is hands down my favorite because I love how super soft Quincy is with Eiden despite how at first impression it may seem otherwise. In general all of Quincy's rooms are super wholesome, even those of Eclipse event, but here a little bit of the atmosphere, a little bit of the location, make it even more intimate.

By the way, being precisely among the first scenes, compared to all the other members you really notice the difference.

((Then excuse me but Quincy is an absurd simp for Eiden, like, he keeps going along with any of his shit without blinking from the second zero?? iconic))

4) Edmond Sweet Aroma Room 2 || Kuya Kitsune Dream Room 5

I KNOW There are supposed to be only one scene for point, but I am weak and indecisive so I put both💀

Let's start with Edmond, I'm going to put my hands up and say that all the rooms in this event have emotionally destroyed me, BUT!

This scene because a) it finally removed the Hamletic doubt we all had about Edmond whether his nipples were really inverted and not just a collective mass hallucination and b) because it is like Room 2 of White Lover (Valentine's Day event) but better. Edmond is a tsundere and so far we all know that, but this was actually the event where he embraced his bottom being and seeing him so surrendered in Eiden's arms behind some trees... Yes.

Usually room 2 of events don't say much to me made a few exceptions (COFF KUYA COFFCOFF DANTE COFFCOFF YAKUMO AT HALLOWEEN) But here I swear to you the first time I saw it I gasped so hard I had to watch it a second time instantly to make an indecent amount of screens, and flood my friends' memory with endless spam on WhatsApp.

Kuya, on the other hand, there is only one thing that makes me love this room madly namely: the moment when Eiden asks him if he can take off his glasses because he wants to look at his face, and he goes along with it by doing so🥺

It's a single gesture, but the very fact that he listened to him instead of continuing to fuck him against the wall>>>>

I really liked Kuya in this event even though he was still an unqualified asshole; but he has his own traumas about abandonment and stuff so we forgive him. By the way those glasses in his skin keep killing me, it was like the last thing I expected and I don't know if I love the fact that they look so good on him, or the endless amount of memes that resulted then LMAO

(( Also bonus because Eiden is adorable in this event and in this scene in particular <3))

3) Dante Icy Equilibrium Room 5

Dante is like my biggest ??? within this game ahahaha, I like his design a lot but at the moment I'm still not too fond of him.

BUT HERE MY GUYS Apart from the fact that I LOVE the skin of this event despite the dubious gravity with which the coat is on his shoulders; for the first time his rooms are not just endless scenes of him fight with Eiden every second to prove that he's the best like children, but I really felt a little more depth, and the fact that there was the first kiss between the two of them AAAAAH turned the whole thing around because it went to a search for even emotional intimacy if you can call it that. The whole part where Eiden drags him into the room, and he laughs as he loosens his hair, and he teases him because that's his first kiss and Dante is pretty much as inexperienced as Edmond even though he doesn't look>>>>

I was moved. It was beautiful and I'm glad that Dante is slowly overcoming this terrible wall of arrogance to mask his weaknesses!

Then, really, he is super cute in this event so easy win in my heart.

2) Kuya Afternoon Daze Room 5

Okay guys, Kuya again because this old shit attends to any form of control I have and makes me cry as if I were five years old and seeing The Lion King for the first time.

Anyway, honorable mention to the walking stick, rightly so after glasses for eyesight, the arthritis stick is also important. It cracks me up that until now he has literally been an old man watching others sweat and bust their asses to organize the tea party LMAO

Rush this room unseemly, obviously , and everything I would have expected, EVERYTHING, given even the premise of Room 2, was not what I actually read.

GUYS This room is 18 minutes of Eiden trying to make out with Kuya with all the force in the world. That is, his only goal is to stick his tongue in the old fox's mouth, and Kuya goes along with him only to push him away half-impressed/scared when he realizes he's enjoying it a little too much. Kuya be like "ehww what's that, feelings??"

Kuya completely wasted after this event, I'M WHEEZING; By the way the way he looks at Eiden is illegal, it gave me goosebumps!!! Oh, and of course after breaking out dick all last event blabla young master you can't hug me blabla NOW not only is Eiden all over him with his legs folded in the worst weave ever that not even playing tetris, but while kissing him he's holding him so close and even running his hands through his hair.

I will keep screaming until the end of time, I tell you.

1) Edmond Sweet Aroma Room 5

So. At this point no one is surprised probably ahahah but I think I will never recover from this room.

Months later it remains the high point of my experience on Nu:Carnival, and not only because Edmond's skin literally generated panic for a week as soon as they revealed the artwork, but also because it kicks off what I like to call the "kissing revolution"

Before this room, this event, there were very few onscreen kisses, maybe like two? One with Olivine and maybe one from Quincy; the rest a few scattered among various rooms of R cards like Kuya or of course Blade's treacherous smoochies. Which was consistent with the fact that IN THEORY this is a porn game, no one cares about context more than the BL. IN PRACTICE after 8 months and three rollercoaster events of excitement, the devs started to make EVERYONE kiss. Guys, there has been the hard lemon fair from August to December: Quincy, Olivine, Dante, now Kuya; resulting in a deepening of the clan member and their stories, and this gives me so much joy every time I think back on it.

ANYWAY BACK TO US.

Edmond in this Room getting his hair untied and slammed against a tree ( what can I say but YES) but most importantly letting Eiden kiss him after he practically confessed that he never did it and didn't understand the point of it because he was forced to be repressed all his life that he never desired intimacy with anyone.

And I was already in tears here, but what destroyed me were the last three minutes when Eiden and Edmond are talking and Eiden at one point takes Edmond's face in his hands, looks at him, and leaves kisses on his eyelids, cheeks, nose, and mouth. And Edmond looks at him and says nothing AND I SWEAR, I SWEAR I felt in my heart, in my bones the realization that he had in that moment. An awakening, an endless gay panic and I closed that screen with the knowledge that Edmond had just become my fave boy and that I would probably sell a kidney to pull all his banners.

Well, this endless rambling has come to an end!!! Honestly, I still have so much more to say but I will contain myself for this time; see you next year with the updated version which honestly, if I already have to reduce myself like this at the first banner it will all be a mess, I can already feel it.

Camille still keeps Athena’s spear at the now-possessed Chaodis. She just wanted to go home and end her hero’s journey, but Athena’s last words were a warning she is forced to heed. And she finds herself going after Chaodis and Eris, unraveling the truths and lies about the relationship between him and the goddess Eris.

Camille knows the trireme ship’s trying to get out of the Underworld by taking the river Styx to leave. She noticed the steering wheel maneuvering the ship has no one controlling it so she points at the wheel and strikes it with lightning. The wheel spins rapidly before breaking into pieces. The trireme ship is now heading towards a massive waterfall that leads to the deepest parts of the underworld.

Chaodis staggered, but soon regain control of his balance and charged at Camille. The threw in a few swords thrusts, some swipes, and many slashes. He occasionally used Eris’s Golden Apple of Chaos to make illusions and stacks an attack with it as a combo.

Camille uses Aegis to defend herself but knew her blue barriers would just break. So she saved Aegis for the illusions and mixed what she learned in capoeira into her combat, dodging the attacks with ease. She even managed to get on her two hands, grab the sword with her feet, and disarm him along with a kick to the face. She then backed up and delivered thrusts with Athena’s spear.

Chaodis still had Eris’s Apple of Chaos and he splits them up into 16 pieces, and he divides up into 16 duplicates. It was almost impossible to figure out who is the real Chaodis.

Camille kept her guard up and tried to dodge any swift attacks that the possessed Choadis would perform, but she fails to avoid all them. Chaodis and the duplicated were all laughing at how Camille can’t figure out who’s the real target while defending herself.

Rage was building up in Camille, so she released it by twirling her spear, raising it up, and stabbing it to the ground. This created a pulse of lighting that wiped out the duplicates and push Chaodis back. He hits a mast and collapses, the divides apple is formed back into one.

Chaodis gets back up and grabbed the apple. He gets back up and plucks another feather to make another sword, but Camille disarms him with just one lightning strike. Camille began walking towards him. Chaodis performed a few illusions, but the lightning strikes wiped them into mists that drift aside. As Camille got closer, the ships end up getting stuck in between a few rocks at the edge of the waterfall. Below the waterfall is an endless darkness.

This didn’t stop Chaodis from fighting, but Camille knew they had to get off the ship.

“Chaodis, Eris, we need to get off this ship, like right now!” Camille tried to convince them. “If you’re going to be staying with the gold and silver like this, both of you will die!”

“And so will you, because I want Chaodis to take you with us!” Eris speaking through Choadis’s voice.

“Do you realize what I’ve been through, you twisted squid!?” Camille didn’t want to argue in this situation, but she snapped. “Making me show up in a dress!? The way we were about to kiss!? Give him the stone for your needs!? I’m been through enough! You’re a twist old squid hag!?”

Eris has other things up her sleeves while possessing Chaodis. “You know Chaodis has told me of your goal, so tell me if this is twisted. Camille and her friends reignite a Hero’s flame and save Inkopolis from Leviathan.”

Eris makes Chaodis use his claws to swipe at Camille who backs up in response.

“Camille and and her friends defy false gods on the island of the Galapagos to rid it of a fabricated reality!” Eris continued.

Chaodis is told to swipe at Camille again, and she dodges.

“Don’t you remind me of those!” Camille threatened. “They’re different from what I’m going through in this!”

Yet, Eris continued: “And Camille and her friends liberate an entire empire from a corrupted republic in the name of an Emperor that fell in love with her cousin!”

Chaodis swipes at Camille one more, and Camille kicks him away.

Eris continued: “Camille...Camille! Camille! Camille! She’s a hero, but she doesn’t care about that title. Look at you... Serving Athena and Zeus, carrying the spirit of an Amazon Queen, fought Titans and horrors influenced by Typhon. But you want to know who’s behind causing all this? ME! So you can blame me for the deaths of one of your friends and your girlfriend!” She mentioned Emerald and Sapphire.

As Eris laughs, that last sentence was going to be her last. Camille soon screams in anger and strike one more lightning at Chaodis, one that’s huge enough and strong enough to pulls Eris out of his body. The lightning was no directed at Eris and it started to turn her into ashes.

“This is for making Rhea kill Sapphire!” Camille zaps Eris again. “This is for making Chaodis manipulate Emerald and leading her to her death!” She zaps another time. “This is for putting my friends and family through all this!!” She zaps several times. “AND THIS--IS--FOR--EVERYTHING--ELSE--YOU--SQUID HAG!!!!”

Eris was soon nothing but ashes and feather. All that’s left is the Golden Apple of Chaos, her artifact. Camille retrieves it so that she can return it to the Olympic Vault. She then retrieved the Omphalos Stone from Chaodis.

Camille was breathing, trying to cool down after taking her anger on Eris.With that goddess now dead after centuries of hiding, Chaodis collapses but Camille ran over to him and helps him up.

There was still a heartbeat. Camille sigh with relief.

“....Thank you...” Chaodis replied after regaining consciousness. “........But oh how wrong I was.....”

Camille now knew Chaodis was being used, manipulated by Eris to act like son she ever had. But her evil intentions were exposed, and Chaodis is now just a lost squid.

“Chaodis... I forgive you.....” Camille holds him close, something she might do only once for someone.

“No...” Chaodis lightly pushed her away. “You may forgive me,.... but this world would say otherwise...”

“There must be a way to--” Camille was cut off a gesture made by Chaodis.

“I’m afraid you’ve done enough.” Chaodis shook his head. “It’s not like you to be concerned about me.”

“.....I understand.” Camille looks down.

“Just do one more request for me... Kill me,” Chaodis asked.

Camille didn’t want to do that; there were already enough lives lost on this journey. This squid, her racing competitor, her once new friend, her ally, her love interest, and now her enemy. Is it worth take the life of this kind of squid? Camille thought.

Her mixed up feeling pained her, having to choose between the choice of sparing the boy that loved her and offered her so much and the choice of killing the boy that manipulated her and betrayed her.

There was only a few thing to say. She held him close. “Just one more thing..... I love you...” She was close enough to use a dagger attached to her belt and stab Chaodis right in the gut.

Chaodis gasped, but soon closed his eyes and smiled. He relaxed as if the stab wound wasn’t there. He lets go of Camille and places a hand on her cheek.

“Don’t cry... we’ll meet again in this world of the next........Here’s looking at you, squid...” Chaodis said those as his last word before backing up and going overboard.

Camille runs over to rails and watched as Chaodis plunges into the deepest parts of the Underworld, an endless darkness. Soon the rocks that are preventing the ship from falling were about to break, and Camille had to escape fast, but a conscious Charon was able to row the boat away from the waterfall. The ferryman turns the ship around, realizing the errors he made and how foolish he was to take Eris’ bribe.

Once back at the Underworld piers, Camille rejoined with Nebula, Telemachus and Agent 7. Hecate was there with a few undead servants and daemons to get the golds and silver back to the seventh sector of the underworld.

There was no time to explain what happened as Camille grew silent. The only response she gave was “I’ll be fine. Let’s go home.”

The journey is finally over.

The Olympian Vault - Hephaestus's Forge, Mount Olympus, Greece - 12:00 Midnight

Agent 7, Nebula, and Telemachus were in the vault returning the Nemean Lion Cloak, Poseidon’s Trident, Triton’s Conch Shell, Hades’s Helmet, and the Key to the Underworld back on their pedestals.

Camille was still outside the vault, holding the Omphalos Stone. The Spirit Camilla and Athena appeared before her.

“What ideas are you having with the stone?” Camilla questioned.

“What does this thing do really?” Camille asked.

“It was meant to grant Eurynome’s and Ophion’s powers,” Athena explained, “I wields the powers that all the gods and goddesses possess.”

“..... This maybe so much I can do with this...” Camille then thought of Sapphire and Emerald. “But I can’t use such a thing... but for one thing. I want to use it to bring back Sapphire and Emerald.” Camille holds the Omphalos Stone out. “Eurynome! Ophion! If you can hear me, I want Sapphy and Emmy back!”

The silver stone soon flickered, and in morse code, it said: “Granted”. Then there was one flash. Camille covered her eyes for a moment and stopped when the brightness faded. She wonders if it worked.

Hephaestus came out of the vault. Athena and Camilla quickly fade away. “Miss Squidly, Athena’s Spear and Zeus’s Thunderbolt.”

“Oh...” Camille thought the stone didn’t work, so she handed the Omphalos Stone to him. “Sorry for the holdup.”

“It’s alright.” Hephaestus looked at the stone. “I’ll have Hermes return this to Mount Othrys.”

Camille enters the vault and place Athena’s spear back in her pedestal. The spear moved to point at the pedestal next to it, and it shoot lightning at it. Now there’s a lightning bolt on the pedestal of Zeus.

A cyclops enters the vault. “Hephaestus, mortals! It’s a miracle.”

The cyclops later takes them to the tomb where Sapphire’s body and Emerald’s body rests. Agent 0 and Sylver were there to visit the graves once more but were not hugging their children, Emerald and Sapphire. Camille is shocked; the Omphalos Stone did work.

When Emerald and Sapphire noticed Camille, they run up to her and Nebula. The four had a group hug, being happy that they’re reunited.

Hephaestus didn’t know how this happened, but then looked at the Omphalos Stone. He looks back at the reunited friends.

Hephaestus smiles.

Alexandria District, Inkopolis - 5:00 PM

Agent 7 was already leaving a conference building after a meeting with the Inkopolis Government, Agent Blueshift, and Agent 2. When he was heading to his office, Nebula bumps into him and the two inklings fall backward.

When they both got back up, Agent Blueshift and Agent 2 were following Agent 7, and Nebula quickly ran over to hug her father, Blueshift.

Agent 7 can hear Nebula almost cry. He then saw Camille, Celeste, and Telemachus run in and stop. Telemachus had his usual neutral face, Celeste had that "I'm busted" look, and Camille looked concerned for Nebula. Camille stepped closer.

"Uncle Sev, we can explain..." Camille began.

We told him the issue we had when cooperating to take down a titan. Uncle Sev didn't look mad when he heard what we had to say. He skipped the subject and reported that Emerald, Sapphire, and Arsenic managed to rout Coeus from Mount Olympus.

He dismissed us to Telemachus's dorm, leaving us with a reminder about a meeting he wants tomorrow morning. Nebula didn't come with us, wanting to stay with Blueshift and Agent 2.

Chaodis came to visit us..... okay he only came to visit me and told me he's attending our meeting tomorrow, so he's cancelled our time to hang out.

In the morning, I saw why he did it.

Olympus Meeting Room - Alexandria District, Inkopolis - 8:36 AM

Agent 7 was sitting with Neo-Squidbeak Splatoon; Nebula didn't have enough sleep last night. Emerald, Sapphire, and Arsenic were still in Greece, protecting Mouth Olympus. Justinian and Sea Angel Splatoon were sent to Kepler to investigate unknown activity on Erikka's Ammonite Colony. Chaodis was supposed to be at the meeting, but he hasn't come to attend.

"Now before I announce what I'm going to do with Neo-Squidbeak Splatoon, I have to note that what happened will not be tolerated even if another titan is destroyed in the end. Telemachus trained you as a team, and how you guys did on this mission wasn't a team." Agent 7 shook his head and kept his arms crossed.

Camille and Nebula looked at each other and then looked away. Agent 7 shakes his head.

"So what's are you going to do with our team?" Celeste asked.

"To ensure that you all will cooperate, I'm merging Chimera Splatoon into your Splatoon to join your ranks." Agent 7 then gestures his hand to the exit door.

Chaodis open the doors in his Agent Uniform. He wielded a custom mini-splatling and he smiled at Camille.

"This means that  Agent Upsilon is a temporary member of Neo-Squidbeak Splatoon," Agent 7 stated, "No exceptions."

And he wasn't joking.

"Absolutely no way!" Camille and Telemachus objected.

Celeste giggled. "Oh come on guys, I bet adding a new member can be a blessing in disguise. Who cares if he and Camille are in a relationship or that he's taking her away from Telemachus. And I don't think Nebula is bothered by him. He can be a good asset to our Splatoon!"

"Celly!" Camille was holding in her anger again while holding a smile. "You're one of my best buds, but you have to shut up right now."

"Easy, princess, easy." Chaodis sits next to Camille. "I'm not gonna let some relationship rumor keep us stressed. After all, you can do the same."

"...Yeah, I can..." Camille looked away with a blush.

"Okay then. Are there any objections?" Agent 7 asked.

Everyone shook their heads. Before Agent 7 can continue, Iruka barges in.

"Iruka? What are you-?" Agent 7 was cut off.

"Shut up, 7! I got a message for the Olympians." Iruka then looks at Camille. "You have to come to Greece! Cassandra foresees a kidnapping! From a titan!"

"A kidnapping?" Camille raised an eyebrow until realizing who it could be. "... Neo-Squidbeak Splatoon, come on!"

We had to go back to Mount Olympus. We weren't going to let a titan kidnap one of our friends. But getting back there was interesting. Kitzeh showed us a shortcut.

Kitzeh's Kettle Pub, Octo Valley - 10:00 AM

Kitzeh's mercenary guild is closed for a while, but she allowed Camille and her Splatoon inside. The place was a mess because of some party she threw.

She showed them to the kitchen and then to the freezer where she pushes some crates to the side. Behind it was a tunnel that led to a volcanic cavern.

"I have no idea how this got here, but you guys probably would know who did this." Kitzeh left the Squids be.

"Hephaestus...," Telemachus assumed.

"I guess he's generous enough to make a shortcut to his Forge," Celeste agreed.

"Let's just go and save them." Nebula enters the tunnel.

Camille, Celeste, and Telemachus followed her, and they reached a larger tunnel. There were tracks and a cart made of steel; There was a lever nearby to make it move, but it seems one of them has to stay behind to activate it. There was a note attached to the lever's handle.

Camille takes it and reads it out loud: "Champions, I made you a shortcut to my forge under the request of Emerald. I'm happy you actually have a someone to be my champion, she's a real help in building this. Enjoy using it - Hephaestus."

Nebula, Celeste, Telemachus, and Chaodis were already in the cart, expecting Camille to pull the lever. Camille noticed and rolled her eyes.

"...Fine!" Camille gets into her Olympian form and pulls the lever. Afterward, she flies towards them and hops into the speeding cart.

Hephaestus's Forge, Mount Olympus, Greece - 2:50 PM

The cart reaches the end later, catapulting them towards a door that automatically opens for them. They then land on a comfy pillow and the doors close behind him. A few minutes later, Hephaestus and Arsenic arrive to greet them.

"Guys, you're here!" Arsenic welcomed.

"You might want to add some changes to this shortcut," Celeste commented, "like the cart's catapult at the end."

"Alright, we'll work on that." Hephaestus cracks his neck a bit. "Also your two friends are dealing a weeping Rhea."

"Rhea?" Nebula questioned.

"She's weeping?" Telemachus added.

"She's more of mourning," Arsenic answered.

"Rhea's the Queen of the Titans, Titaness of Fertility, and my Grandmother," Hephaestus informed, "She must be here mourning my family's fallout and deaths many centuries ago."

"You can find your friends outside the Forge," Arsenic told them, "they might've not gone that far."

"Thank you." Camille soon runs off with her Splatoon following.

Hephaestus narrowed his eyes at Chaodis who was behind the Splatoon. He sensed something familiar yet suspicious. He could warn Camille, but they've just left.

We decided to join with Emerald and Sapphire and meet with the Titaness. When we reunited, Sapphire decided to make peace with Rhea.

Mount Olympus, Greece - 3:00 PM

Emerald and Sapphire were hiding behind the bushes where they were keeping an eye on a blessed robed Titaness. This titan was in a place where she can see the whole view of Mount Olympus.

She had a blue cloak of the night and a silver headdress of the aurora lights. A mask of a maiden with closed eyes and fixed hair cover the Titaness' face. She was on her knees weeping and muttering. This is Rhea.

Camille and her Splatoon were in another part of the area where Emerald can see them.  Camille was the only one in her Olympian form.

They communicated through headsets.

"What are you doing here?" Emerald asked.

"Cassandra warned us that one of you will be captured," Nebula explained.

"So you must be the Ex-Agent Delta," Chaodis assumed.

"....Is that Chaodis, Camille--?" Emerald asked.

"--Agent 7 wanted more cooperation in my Splatoon," Camille quickly replied.

"Well, at least he can be of help." Emerald then noticed Sapphire come out of the blushes. "Oh no..."

"What is Sapphy doing!?" Camille now knows who'll get kidnapped. "Don't let her get captured!"

Sapphire approached the Titaness in her normal clothing. She can no hear what the Titaness was saying.

"Oh, my children and grandchildren.... why did they do this?" Rhea mourned. "All you ever wanted was to keep order in this universe, and look what you've done, Zeus."

"...Queen of the Titans?" Sapphire approached her.

Rhea turned to look down on her.

"You've only come here to mourn?" Sapphire asked.

"Yes, mortal." Rhea looks back at Mount Olympus. "And I never knew I would bind myself to Typhon just to take back what my husband has lost."

"Typhon..." Camille has heard that before. Nebula screamed it during her nightmare, and Hephaestus probably knows something about this when she was fighting Crius.

"You'll never understand my pain, mortal." Rhea looks down.

"I don't share the same pain as you... but for me, I felt it when I was young." Sapphire sits next to her. "But at least I found something to learn in nature."

"...Hmph. When my son freed me from Tartarus, I didn't have anywhere to go. Cronus force my brother and my sisters to make a bond with Typhon in the blackness. And I had to do so as well. It was a chance to take back my old life before the Olympians."

"You didn't need to do that, my Queen." Sapphire bows. "You must understand that the titans are bringing disaster to my world and probably all life in the universe. There must be another way."

"No one can convince Cronus to end his Conquest of the Universe." Rhea gets up and sniffs. "Not even a mortal like you can convince him."

"..... How about someone else?" Sapphire takes out the antler crown and puts it on. Once in her Olympian form, she bows again.

Rhea is surprised and kneels down. "An Olympian..." Then there was a moment of silence.

"As a Champion of Artemis, wielding the soul of Hippolyta, I want to speak with your husband," Sapphire demanded.

She thought making peace with the Titans would work... but Rhea did something else.

Rhea quickly snatches her and prevents her from moving her arms and legs.

"My child... he would love to see you," Rhea stated.

Sapphire struggled.

"Rhea...what are you-?" Sapphire was scared.

Emerald comes out of the bushes in Olympian form and fires an arrow at Rhea's leg. Rhea looks at her. Camille does the same in her Olympian form preparing Athena's spear. Nebula, Telemachus, Celeste, and Chaodis come out of the bushes armed with their ink-firing weapons.

"Two more Olympians.... and mortals helping them?" Rhea seems confused. "So they are back..." She raises one arm up high.

"Camille! Emerald! Help!" Sapphire screamed.

Camille sprouts owl wings from her back and she picks up Emerald so that they can free Sapphire from Rhea's grasp. However, red lightning strike Rhea, and Sapphire screams. Afterward, Rhea disappears.

Camille almost drops Emerald, but at least she managed to grab her hands.

".....No....Sapphy." Camille didn't expect her to go that quick.

Emerald was glaring at where Rhea stood. She began kicking her feet. "That Titan took my sister!!!!!"

Nebula and Celeste help me drag Emerald back into the Forge. We told Hephaestus about what just happened.

Hephaestus's Forge, Mount Olympus, Greece - 3:45 PM

"She took the Champion of Artemis!" Hephaestus was enraged.

"We have to save her!" Emerald replied.

"Emmy, calm down! We don't even know where she took her!" Celeste tried to calm her down.

"Who know what the Titans will do to her." Telemachus was looking at Hades's helmet.

"I bet she's on another planet like Kepler, being tortured and starved out. And years later she'll die from--" Celeste imagined.

"Celly, not helping!" Camille cut her off.

"Calm down, I think I know where they might be." Hephaestus then became hesitant. "But you'll have to go to the birthplace of the first Olympians. Mount Othrys. It's just south of here."

"Will it lead to where Rhea took Sapphire?" Emerald asked quickly.

"Yes, but..... I wouldn't go there." Hephaestus shook his head.

"Well, you already told us," Chaodis reasoned, "And I think we have enough Olympians to perform a rescue mission."

"Oh no, I think we should just bring a small rescue party," Camille ordered.

"...Very well. Just make sure you're prepared." Hephaestus then dismissed them.

I didn't want to do this, but I actually called Uncle Sev in case we rescue mission leads us to another planet. In the meantime I've formed the rescue party: it's me, Nebula, Emerald, and Chaodis. I'll leave Celeste and Telemachus with Arsenic and Hephaestus in case another Titan appears on Earth.

Chaodis approached Emerald in a training room where she was practicing with Apollo's Bow and the Plague's Throwing Dagger. He approached her, eating a yellow apple. He swallowed his food before talking with her.

"You sure are prepared to rescue your sister, huh?" Chaodis asked.

"Well, Camille and my sister had something special during last winter... I don't know what happened between them after that." Emerald was aiming her glass arrow at another target.

Chaodis took a bit out of his apple again and swallowed after a few chews. "Is that so?" Chaodis stepped closer. "And  I can guess she isn't bothered that she's with me?"

"...I know you're not her boyfriend." Emerald lowers her bow and puts it away. "But you two look so perfect together... and Nova and Telemachus were another, but... they're more of friends."

Chaodis smiled. "I can assure you I am in love with her." He continues eating his apple. "And as you can see, I am succeeding in winning her heart."

Emerald does a fake laugh. "Trust me, no one can bring her into a relationship. Yes, she can be a bit of a tomboy and harsh, but she's real nice one you get to know her. She just thinks guys like Telemachus and Justinian are weirdos, and other boys don't like her attitude. Look, she just wants to be a racer and that's it in her life. And with this... I think she just wants to get it over with."

Chaodis soon thought of something. "Hey, maybe after this rescue, Camille and I can go on a date here in Greece."

"You can't be serious..." Emerald wasn't convinced.

"No, seriously, there's a party coming to the Parthenon, Athens." Chaodis finishes his apple and disposes it in a fire. "And I can take her there."

"Well if you insist." Emerald leave the training room.

???, Unknown Planet - Time Unknown

Sapphire finds herself still in her Olympian form with her arms and legs chained up. She stood in the middle of a massive throne room where 12 thrones stood. Only 9 of those thrones were filled and the other three were torn down. Oceanus and Rhea can be recognized in the room, but the other titans were different.  Still, they were all 36 feet.

Among the Titans were two beings. One was a humanoid in red bronze armor with a head get in flames. His wide round eyes and gaping mouth were the only features that can be distinguished in the fire. The other titan has an unusual cap that looked like a brain, his robes were that of a typical priest, but his mask was unusually birdlike.

Among the Titaness were  5 beings. One Titaness is a humanoid with orange hair, green tunic, and a smiling opera mask. The next Titaness is simple a violet and gold cloak with a sun for a head, but something hazy is inside it. The next Titaness was a fish-woman with a cloak adorned in scales; her seaweed hair covered her eyes and her mouth has fanged teeth. The last Titaness was wearing a dark visor in a strange magicians hat and a large blue cloak. Her light blue hair can be seen.

On the throne next to Oceanus and Rhea, at the center, a mighty titan with a scythe sat before Sapphire. He was in a dark armor and a black cape and hood. He spoke.

"So... you are one of the few that killed my brothers and nephew?" The Titan began. "I am Cronos, the King of the Titans, and personified at Chronos, god of time. You are in our domain now."

The titan with the brain-shaped cap and priest robes stood up. "You've no right to wield his grandchildren's toys."

Sapphire stared at the Titan, recognizing him as Coeus.

"Speechless...Not even my words can make her talk." The titan with the brain-shaped cap sits down.

"Maybe we should speak alone." Cronos dismissed everyone.

"When do I burn her?" The fiery-headed titan asked.

"I'll decide that later, Hyperion, now go." Cronos gestured him to leave as well.

Once they room of thrones were empty, Sapphire finally replied.

"This is our universe, and we need to share it... there must be some way--" Sapphire tried to reason.

"How dare you!" Cronus gets up. "There will be no compromise, Champion of Artemis!"

Sapphire looks up at him. The Titan King sighed and sits back down.

"We will not end this war until there's no trace of the Olympians," Cronus stated, "My son will pay. And so will the champions that serve his family."

Two humanoid snakes slither into the room and unchain Sapphire. They then grab her by the arms. Cronos gestured them to take her away.

Sapphire can soon her the Titan King ramble things as she leaves; one of the words was "Typhon".

"  hm, how charming that you've picked up a family along the way.  "  kuya wouldn't understand the concept of family nor its endearing parts, but it seemed to have eiden happy even to mention them. it's safe to say that they're important to his master, thus, perhaps kuya can be cordial about their presence in his life. though, there is an underlying, unspoken knowledge that should anything happen kuya would make it a point to voice his scorn. but nothing has happened, the fox will leave this happiness in eiden's chest. kuya hums and his hand idles itself with fixing a stray lock of eiden's hair as he speaks, a foreign gesture, but it keeps his focus on something else for now. at least the disappointment from dropping all those food items went away.

"  at least you look better,  "  kuya says, the last time he's seen eiden  . . .  well, he doesn't want to dwell on it, after all, the hour is getting late and kuya would like to explore the area now that he feels a little better about his situation. but what to do with eiden is another matter, after all, there were no plans in the young master's to encounter the fox at all today.  "  i'd assume they're probably worried where you are.  "

"...ah yeah. It was like that with Quincy too. I think he said something about three days..."

Eiden tilts his head in thought. He remembers he talked about this with Hansol too. It's all a little tiring honestly speaking but there's not much he can do about it, other than give a sigh.

" I know people who've been back and forth. Apparently on return it's like they've never been gone. "

Tired expression brightens however as soon as his brothers come up again. Somehow it makes him a little bashful but also pretty happy.

" Err, yeah. To my knowledge I don't. "

There... was that one guy but Eiden doesn't bring him up. He never really does.

" Actually! Yuuji's ... err, that's the little brother, got a house so I'm living there. "

He’s so quick in the way he wraps himself in the fuzzy warm blanket, wrapping it over his head and covering his entire body. “It’s soooo warm and it smells like you!” He says with the biggest smile

Sun is in a great mood. He has his bracelet. They’re in a warm home and he’s with one of the bestest of the best. 

He’ll wait for Eiden patiently.

“ Hehe - are they now? “ Eiden laughs, giving a passing pat on Sun’s head before quickly heading for the stairs, “ I won’t be long! “

And he isn’t. In no more than few minutes Eiden’s back, relieved and happy to get all the wet clothes off his back. All changed up he takes the loaned hoodie and hands it to Sun.

“ Ahh, it’s great to have dry clothes on again -- here you go! Thanks for borrowing! “ he chatters with a smile as he hands it over.

“ You wanted tea right? But um... sorry I’m not entirely sure what tea is that you want... Do you remember what the package looked like? “

Promptly he pulls up a phone from the huge front pocket of his jacket, fingers tapping across the screen. Few seconds and there it is - their route. The place is quite literally just around the corner. 

“ Ah! I knew it!  “ Eiden exclaims gesturing the other to follow after, “ c’mon, c’mon! Let’s go! I think the lunchtime prices are still on!!! “
