ive made some super awesome online friends this year and even got to meet some of them at a con!! i was a lead in one of the funnest shows I've ever done at my local theater and had a blast with that cast, I rediscovered a lot of old interests that revitalized my love of writing, me and my sister took a trip to London where we met up with friends we hadn't seen in person in years, i got to see my favorite band (los campesinos) live with my mom!!

hey honest question, did anybody have GOOD stuff happen to them in 2024? cause it was really bad for me and for most people i know, so it would be nice to hear about anything that's been going WELL for any of you. even if it's small stuff. just to know there's light out there.

little sneak peak on what im working on!! its a timeloop/reincarnation scarian fic that will span throughout the life series!

its heavily based on the song praybirds/watcher song by rabbitology!

the crows were back.

spiraling around him, cawing things that would mean nothing to anyone who couldn't understand them.

but he did.

the watcher had grown familiar with the language of the crows, what their calls meant what they were telling him.

and he dreaded it. he resented those birds. what they represented, the news they brought, it was sickening.

their caws spun around his head as they showed him visions of yet another death.

another timeline, another promising start, another version of the man he was cursed to watch in every new life, another death he was unable to stop. no matter how hard he had tried.

it always ended the same way. what happened in between the start and the end was different every time but it always ended the same way.

he had come to resent that man in a way, almost as much as he resented the crows and their calls of death. scar, that was his name. and despite how hard he tried to save scar he was infuriatingly oblivious to every warning, every sign that was sent his way. how could one person be so blind?

sometimes it felt like some higher power, higher than himself, was messing with him. manipulating the timeline again and again solely to drive him insane.

rereading fics i wrote when I was 13-14 and deep in the dsmp trenches and tbh I really enjoyed them. they were not anywhere near as bad as I told myself they were.

so if anyone is interested in a single chapter of a sbi foster au, a bench trio zombie apocalypse oneshot, a bench trio/sbi zombie apocalypse series with like 4 chapters that is very unfinished, a mini fic about s8 mumbo getting watcher abilities, and a unspecified season scarian mini oneshot where grian actually doesn't show up at all. then I'll share my ao3 link

sometimes i remember my sister follows me on tumblr and I freak out because I feel like every interest I have is meant to be a secret and no one in my real life can know about it but then I remember my sister is barely active and I'm allowed to be weird it's not that serious

being the stage manager for a show that doesn't have a lot of tech is great because I get to sit backstage and make tmr incorrect qoute images for like an hour

do ppl actually think like this? like sure if you're new to social media it can be weird when strangers follow you. I remember when I was like 13 and started posting my cosplays on tiktok I always felt a little overwhelmed thinking about the two thousand strangers who knew stuff about me but thats really just how social media works! you have the option of a private account on most apps if it really bothers you!

So I just saw a post by a random personal blog that said “don’t follow me if we never even had a conversation before” and?????? Not to be rude but literally what the fuck??????????

I’ve had people (non-pornbots) try to strike conversation out of nowhere in my DMs recently, and now I’m wondering if they were doing that because they wanted to follow me and thought they needed to interact first. I feel compelled to say, just in case, that it’s totally okay to follow this blog (or my side blog, for that matter) even if we’ve never talked before.

Also, I’m legit confused. Is this how follow culture works right now? It was worded like it’s common sense but is that really a thing?
