Eggpaw is from @fringeclan-rebirth- this blog has the most beautiful watercolor art! Though it has just started, I am very excited as to where the story is headed.

Raincrackle is from @gray-thistleclan- it was difficult to choose which cat to draw because every design is so unique! The story is very intriguing and I look forward to every update.

Caterpillarpaw is from @echoes-in-echoclan- the art in this comic is lovely and the story is very creative. Kesteralstar and Raggedghost are a great duo, but it’s good that they finally have other clanmates.

Longpaw is from @juniper-clan- it was such a creative idea to make a clangen blog set in the 1700s, and Longpaw and Heronstar are both very compelling characters. Lyrestar is from @moons-of-dewclan- I genuinely love this comic beyond words- the story, the characters, the art style, the mysteries behind the traitor and lyrestar’s partner, everything about this comic is wonderful.

Chapter 4: A Sinking Feeling

Prologue Previous/Next

This chapter was definitely a nice break after the last one. Only six characters to draw (three of which only appear once) and simple, easy backgrounds. Plus it was fun to draw the mud and the venus flytrap, as well as writing Foggypaw infodumping about the plants. He’s such a nerd when it comes to plants in the game and I love him for it.

Anyways the next chapter is one that I’m really excited for, and it should be a shorter one so it should hopefully be out sooner rather than later. A lot of stuff has been slowly building up to it so I’m excited to finally get some payoff.

ROOKTREE purred as she led the soon to be medicine cat, COTTONPAW down the path to a moss covered cave, silently recounting the path shown to her in her dreams.

Two SWANCLAN cats sat beside each other, exchanging purrs and murmurs before the smaller cat turned her attention to the pair.

EGGPAW AND TIGERTAIL QUIZ ROOKTREE AND COTTONPAW ABOUT HERBS BEFORE LETTING THEM ENTER THE CAVE, WARNING THEM OF THE WATER THAT HALF WAY FLOODS THE CAVE.

COTTONPAW IS NOW KNOWN AS COTTONSHOCK, SHE HAS GOTTEN A MESSAGE FROM FLECKSTRIPE, HER ADOPTIVE FATHER.

SOON AFTER COTTONSHOCK FINDS A LITTER OF FOUR ORPHANED KITS AND BRINGS THEM BACK TO CAMP. ROOKTREE INFORMS THE REST OF THE CLAN THAT THE KITS WILL NEED TIME TO GRIEVE.

PEAR'S KITS HAVE BEEN RUNNING AROUND THE CAMP.

BLOTCHKIT HAS BEEN RENAMED TO BLOTCHPAW, UNFORTUNATELY BLOTCHPAW IS ATTACKED ON HIS FIRST PATROL OUT. HIS LEG WILL NEED TO HEAL BEFORE TRAINING.

AFTER A FEW SUNHIGHS OF SEARCHING, LEIF HAS JOINED THE CLAN. PURRING AND WALKING BY MULBERRYLION'S SIDE WHILST WALKING BACK.
