Also, I beat Artificer's campaign!

It was pretty fun! I ended up beating it in just like five hours. Am I missing something? I killed the Scavenger king fella, and then is that just kinda it? I've heard stuff about an ascension ending, but because I'm stuck at only the first karma level I don't think I can do that route any more.

I really, really like playing as Arti though. The scavs suck, but the movement and using explosives is wonderful!

The backstory stuff is pretty sad too, though I kinda had everything spoiled through fanart and stuff, which is my own fault. It was bound to happen.

Metropolis is super cool as well! These new areas are great! I still can't get over the new more unique shelters. They add so much!

I'm taking a short break from the Downpour slugs to be a parent (as evident by the slugpup), mainly because Spearmaster will take a while, because I wanna try to get all of the broadcasts.

i’ve not just. like. lain in my bed and read for 2 days straight (ha) in. YEARS. i literally? literally. LITERALLY barely moved this whole weekend because i was just ~~*READING*~* i was so absolutely absorbed in that story i laughed i yelled i cried and I FINISHED IT last night at 3am and i can’t stop thinking about it and my heart aches and i’m just. i wanna read it again i want it to go on forever but it HURTS—but it hurts GOOD—HHHNNNGGGGGGG i’m flattened i’ve been steamrolled i don’t know whether to thank or block you for introducing me to that but i think it’s thank? i think it’s thank. what a beautiful story i’m gonna just. i’m gonna sit here and let my heart cry and just—uuuuuuuuuuggggh

ah yes. the afterlife fic. it all makes sense now.

it is my FAVORITE. OF ALL TIME. while i would say "no! i can't believe you spent a whole weekend in bed reading!!!" but i can believe it, because i did the exact same thing. I read and read and did not move until i finished it (and it's quite a beast at 491k words). and that ENDING? THAT ENDING?

i am sO SO thrilled you found it through my bookmarks! i should go back and add more (because i'm shitty when it comes to ao3 and remembering which fics i enjoyed). it was an incredible read and it HURT so much but that's the point! good writing is supposed to make you feel things!!!
