Love All Your Curves (G.D)
Warnings : body shaming, cursing
Word Count : 706
Plot : after going to a red carpet event, y/n reads an article about her weight online
Author’s Note : Really and truly, you should love your body, curves and all! Society honestly sucks, trying to shove one type of body down everyone’s throats, but everyone is different, and everyone is absolutely beautiful!
I smiled as I looked into the mirror, smoothing out my outfit for tonight’s event. Grayson came up from behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist, and placing a kiss on my shoulder. Two years together, and these simple things still give me butterflies. "You look beautiful." He said softly. I turned around, still in his arms, and placed my hands on his chest.
"And you look very handsome." I smiled up at him, and gave him a quick kiss.
"Are you two ready?!" Ethan calls for us. We pull away and head out.
When we arrived to the red carpet, Grayson kept his arm around my waist as the three of us went to get our pictures taken. We posed for a few minutes, and then decided to head inside. We were stopped just before the door by a lady with a microphone, behind her a guy was holding a camera. "Grayson, Y/N! How long have you two been together now?" She asked. We smiled at each other as we answered. "Wow congratulations! Y/N, did you think that the two of you would last this long?"
"I had a feeling, we clicked from the get go, and just fell in love over time." Grayson kissed my cheek.
"I knew from the start that she was the one for me." He added on. I couldn't help the blush forming on my face.
"You two really are adorable! Well have fun tonight!" Grayson and I then turned to join Ethan inside, who saved us seats. He waved us over, and we sat beside him, excited for the night ahead of us.
The next morning, I woke up and went to make breakfast for everyone. I tried my best not to wake anyone, though knowing the boys, nothing will wake them. I hummed some songs to myself as I cracked the eggs, whisked them, and then cooked them. I was just having the time of my life, dancing a little, humming, and just cooking a nice meal for the two special boys in my life.
"What a sight to wake up to." I jumped, and turned to see Grayson leaning against the door frame, looking at me. He then walked over to me, giving me a quick kiss. "What are you making?"
"My special breakfast wraps." He smiled widely at me, reminding me how much he likes them. "That's why I'm making them. Go wake up Ethan, they're just about ready." He gave me another kiss before heading to Ethan's room.
After breakfast, Ethan and Grayson told me to relax and that they'll clean up. I thanked them, and spread out on the couch, and began scrolling through my phone. When I saw an article about me and Grayson. Grayson's Girlfriend Has Let Herself Go. I looked down at my body, not seeing any difference in it from when I began dating Grayson. As I read through it, I began to feel worse about myself. They were saying I shouldn't have worn such a tight dress last night, no one wants to see that.
"Y/N!" I snapped out of it, and looked up at my boyfriend. My completely ripped, completely fit boyfriend. Almost as if he is complete muscle, no body fat to be found. Why was he with me? "What's wrong?" I smiled, shaking my head, telling him I was fine. As I went to look back at my phone, but Grayson took it from me.
"Hey! What are you doing?!" I tried grabbing it back, but he moved it, and began reading the article I had just finished reading, and he started laughing. "What's so funny?" I curled up to myself, pouting up at him. He sat beside me, his laughter stopped.
"Was this what made you upset?" I didn't answer. "It's bullshit. Complete, utter bullshit. You're not fat, you have curves! You're absolutely gorgeous, and I can't see myself with anyone else."
"You're not just saying that?" My voice was soft, as I tried not to cry.
"Y/N, I love you, curves and all. And there's nothing that will ever change that." I moved into his arms, just wanting to cuddle up to him for the rest of my life.
"I love you, Gray."
