a polyamorous relationship between prism, rowan, and the home depot lighting section. home depot is a stabilizing force, otherwise rowan and prism might do something risky to maintaining the relationship, like talk to each other

25. The OC that resembles you the most (same hobby, height, shared like/dislike for something etc?)

this one’s hard, because they’re all a little bit me in different ways? but im going to say lorna, because i, too, spent my highschool years reading penny dreadfuls and listening exclusively to sweeney todd, and tend to overthink the amount that people are allowed to know me.

im fairly sentimental over an old highschool oc named Eeleth, who issss. kinda hard to summarize?? but he helped me through a lot of ✨Stuff✨ i was going through at the time. ive had to shelve him for personal reasons, though im very grateful i had him when i did

Cryptids are hidden, subtle creatures. By definition, little is known about them. For the transformed Rowan, Mothman being an “internet famous cryptid”, is the perfect oxymoron to represent him.

In-universe, Rowan is actually famous- for internet degrees of famous, at least- having cultivated a following of conspiracy chasers who appreciate his skeptical approach to things and entertainment skills. He’s lived a good portion of his life online, where he has gotten used to constantly being witnessed, and having his words picked apart by a surveilling mass. Post-mothmanification, he is cut off from that internet following- but simultaneously trapped in an animal brain that is hyper aware of every eye that’s on him.

There might be an argument that the whole “unplugging” angle is good for him? But given that nothing about this situation was voluntary and all of his coping mechanisms are on fire, I’m not sure that should be the takeaway.
