between kandreil, who’d be the most tempted to stay in one of the good universes where their lives turned out a bit better/less loss in ur EEAAO au ? (sorry if u gave it another title i must’ve forgot)

here i think it's a matter of the cost/benefit to them to stay in said good universe. they each have non-negotiables regarding the lives they live now, and the ones they would want to live, despite the possibility of negating the effect of something awful they've experienced.

for andrew, it's aaron, nicky and neil/kevin

for neil, it's the foxes in general

for kevin, it's jean.

i think neil and andrew, where they are in the point of plot i've begun it (post-finals win), they're satisfied with what they have. neil's lost his mother and his childhood, but he wouldn't give up the foxes for it back because those things are done and gone. andrew's already sworn himself to protect his family, so anything that threatens that would be a no-go. kevin can't live if jean doesn't.

i don't think there's a situation where they maintain those non-negotiables in any other context, or at least not all of them. andrew and kevin and neil would not encounter eachother in a situation close to the one in canon under diverging circumstances so it stands to reason that the question becomes who could shoulder the loss easier?

in the eeaao wip, kevin is the one willing to live in another universe as long as a. he's happy and b. jean is alive. these things are mutually exclusive in any universe other than the one he comes from, in eeaao wip. andrew and neil i think are less easily swayed, particularly when it comes to the understanding that in every universe they follow kevin to, jean dies. as such, kevin dies; whether physically or psychologically, it doesn't matter.

to be perfectly frank, kevin is the clear answer here, particularly looking at his psyche post canon, but it's almost an impossibility when jean isn't alive in them.

something, someone, somewhere is eeaao kandreil fic which finally got a (working) title! it may change, who knows. i haven't worked on it in a while which is why i only have one line i can really share.

There are a lot of things Neil hates Kevin for. One more means nothing.
