MY #TRAFFIC AND #CROWDED STORY: Ganito ang scenario dito samin sa Baguio, La Trinidad, Marcos Highway, Halsema Highway at Naguillan Roads. As in soobrang traffic db? One main reason is ung pag akyat ng mga tourists with their vehicles that oversaturates roads and streets. Mga iba is kaskasero or pasaway s daan. You will really notice if the driver is not from Baguio or Benguet by their road behaviors while driving. Its like carmagedon, bumper to bumper. Full pack ang mga terminal ng jeep. Mejo hirap talaga sumakay. Pag gabi naman ang hirap makasakay ng taxi pauwe. Trapped in EDSA | A Poem

The rain is heavy.

EDSA is traffic again.

So I'm trapped in the bus again,

In EDSA there is no movement,

Except for motorcycles,

They can run away quickly.

When it's raining,

I remember a lot,

Painful and happy past,

You decide on which of it will you react,

It depends on your mood.

But EDSA has many events,

You will see a collision,

But other than that,

You would rather sleep in traffic.

All I really want to say,

The rain is heavy and lightning is included,

People must be careful especially those who are prone to sickness,

Don't get sick especially if you have so much to pay.

After an hour...

My poem was done moments ago.

I'm still here in EDSA and acting crazy.

Because cars aren't moving.

There's an ambulance who wants to go by,

But it's having a hard time,

Because of the heavy congestion of traffic.

After 1 hour and 15 minutes

I'm comforting myself,

Because I feel like I'm urinating and it's alarming.

I want to get rid of this very stressful traffic,

But I guess I'll just wait for this traffic to finally move.

When will the traffic in EDSA end?

People are so sick and tired of it,

And yet nothing is happening.

I hope we'll get a solution to this,

To make us feel at ease.

Okay, soo we’re not moving because of this perennial edsa traffic jam!!!! Annoying selfie muna with my Mr. Yamot 😁😘

FACT: I enjoy being stuck in traffic. I find it very relaxing because I feel like the world is moving too fast and moments like this makes you pause for awhile from our fast-paced lives, for us to be able to reacquaint with the earth. Wala, being reaaaaally present with the person you’re with lang, making this your peaceful time to contemplate your life and just appreciate the outdoors. It makes me smile seeing street children na super jolly while selling sampaguitas, cigarettes, water, candies, nuts, etc. It makes me appreciate anong buhay meron ako, kasi sila kahit mahirap life nila nagagawa padin nilang mag smile. I’m also amazed by how these trees, birds and of course the clouds were perfectly created. Parang ang galing lang Niya at naisipan Niyang gumawa ng mga bagay na to. It makes me realize how beautiful our world really is, ang galing lang ni Lord like He’s truly the best of the best, He’s the greatest for creating all of these.. for all of us. Okay, I shall stop this now kasi I feel like zuihitsu is provoking me na hahahaha.

Let’s slow down to enjoy life 🤗
