Lets talk about someone who is so heavily underrated and underestimated. @hcredis. Easily one of the best Alec's if not one of the best shadowhunter blogs in general. They're new to the sh rp, but they're exactly what it needed. They're kind and inviting and inclusive and above all I am constantly astounded by their writing, characterization and complete and utter understanding of such a complex character. All my love and support to such a good bean!

I definitely need to flesh out his world inverted verse (his & Jon’s both, lbr), so I’ll add that to my list. also, man. I’d kill for more interactions with Clarys in general given their interesting dynamic.

                                                       Alec felt their lips separating gently, all the way to the last warm tug of soft skin, Magnus’s lipstick making their lips stick together for a fraction of a second, enough to rise goosebumps up his nape. He stared at him. He hadn’t quite realizes what he had done until this moment. All around them, people meshed into a single vibrating body, chanting, laughing, toasting, and kissing, under the dark and lights of Pandemonium, they were a blur on the back of his mind. His whole attention rested on the warlock in front of him.

Alec had always thought mundane cartoons rather ridiculous, but perhaps their exaggeration wasn’t an exaggeration at all, as much as just a representation of a feeling. Right then, it felt like his heart was definitely beating right out of his chest, battling him for freedom, as though it longed to lunge itself right into Magnus, to join with him. His face was flushed, but he didn’t think it was visible under all the purple and blue splashes of light that danced around them, no brighter than the gleam in his eyes. 

Alec hadn’t really expected to meet him here. He knew the day held a high significance to mundanes, it was impossible not to notice, even for him, and he thought Magnus ought for sure to be celebrating with them, or other downworlders, in Paris or whatever else fancier place where someone like him belonged. He wasn’t even sure what had prompted him to the club to search him out in the first place. He only knew that as Isabelle left for a date, and Jace was roped into whatever it was that Clary had planned, he found himself alone, and unable to focus on anything, or even sleep. 

He’d caught a glance at the clock, and when he caught himself again, he was halfway to Brooklyn, running. Their first date kept flashing through his mind, and Alec regretted getting distracted by the fighting happening around them, when he wanted nothing more than to ask Magnus out again. 

He stared at him now, still panting from his run, and licked his lips absently, cleaning them from lipstick and tasting Magnus on his mouth. It was dangerous to be here, at a highly frequented place where anyone could see them, but he couldn’t have waited another second to kiss him when the loud chanted counting had reached zero just as Alec had reached him. He felt as though he was still in stupor as he looked at him, and he wondered again how could it be possible for someone that beautiful to be real.

“Happy New Year’s.” He mumbled, breathing heavily, his hands still clutching Magnus’s biceps, where he’d grabbed him. “Do...You wanna try that dating thing again? W-with me?” He asked, stepping closer. He was ignorant to the meaning of the midnight kiss, but if he knew, he’d have no regrets. He definitely wanted to start and finish this year with Magnus, maybe another, or several others if he somehow became incredibly lucky. Then again, he ought to be already, to have even met him. He smiled, tentatively, and leaned in, in an attempt at a new kiss. 

He felt weightless.

WHAT  WAS  LIFE  WITHOUT  A  PARTY  ?   in  every  city  she  went  to  alice  liked  to  get  a  little  taste  of  the  night  life .  and  that  brought  her  right  here ,  pandemonium .    shame  bella  couldn’t  join  her ,  edward  had  whisked  her  away  hours  ago ,  complaining  about  how  his  sister  had  already  been  hogging  her  for  the  entire  day .  alice  shuddered  to  think  what  they  were  up  to  now ,  perhaps  it  was  best  that  she  made  herself  scarce .  on  the  dance  floor  she  was  anything  but ,   swaying  her  hips  to  the  rhythm  easily ,  turning  down  any  drinks  that  came  her  way .  she  smiled  when  she  spotted  him  though ;  the  one  who  must  own  this  club . ❛    --   i   must  say ,  you  know  how  to  throw  a   good   party .  ❜  /  @edomsmagnificent

Hey Lou I and wondering your genuine thoughts on the 15th season being the last?

hmm.  well, i like the number ?? like it wouldn’t feel right to me if it was 16 or 17 u know ?? 15 looks pretty neat.  also, i’m content with the idea of it ending next year, because there’s only so many stories u can tell, but at the same time, i’m not ready for it, and i doubt i will be in a year from now.  again, i’m super glad we got to know about it beforehand, so there’s that.  however, i think the one thing that comforts me the most is that, this won’t be the last we’ll hear from them.  mark u that.  i’m 1000% sure they’ll be back in 5-10 years with a movie or some other project.  and there will definitely be conventions to attend throughout ( or watch on youtube like me ), so there’s always going to be some type of connection with the show, in one way or another.  i’ve also got that tiny bit of hope that the fandom in the rp will grow rapidly by that time and we’ll all be carrying on those stories here.  so… yeah… ?

Magnus looked over at the man currently sat in his bed. Sebastian had spent the night again, Magnus having thrown up a million extra wards to hold off tracking and make sure no one else could enter the loft without his invitation. Sebastian rarely stay till morning, but sometimes Magnus could convince him, and the warlock had held him close the entire night. Like his body was pleading for Sebastian to realize that someone did care for him, that he wasn’t alone. If he would just stop, try to do things the right way… he could have it all. Be one of the best shadowhunters ever, have his sister that he was so desperate for, be praised and admired… stay with Magnus.

“ Really? ” Magnus questioned, arching an eyebrow as he continued rearranging the books.

This had been going on for months. And, Magnus was more worried than ever. Sebastian hadn’t done anything to the shadow world in at least a month, and the warlock was concerned it’s because he was planning something big. Something bad.

“ This might have been a better conversation to have when you’re not lying naked in my bed, don’t you think? ”

      Sebastian. Jonathan. at this point all of his various identities ran together & he wasn’t entirely sure which one fit him best anymore. one of them carried a weight he wasn’t sure he could shoulder, but the other carried uncertainty he was equally unsure of. either way, it was irrelevant when he was sprawled so comfortably in the other’s bed. he blinks at the other’s words, realizing belatedly that he had spoken aloud without any sort of context, & the other might have taken what he said with entirely different meaning than he had been thinking. sitting up, he shakes his head & runs a hand through soft, blond strands to push them from his eyes. ‘ yes. maybe. I need to say this, ’ he says slowly. ‘ but perhaps it’s not what you think. I... want to stay, ’ he says softly. 

      he pushes himself out of the bed, pulling on his pants but leaving the rest of his clothes in the thoughtless pile they’d fallen into the night before. ‘ I’m tired of carrying the weight of the sins my father dropped on my shoulder. it’s... who he wants -- wanted me to be. it’s not what I want but... I don’t know how to shed its weight. ’ help me is on the tip of his tongue but his pride slams his teeth shut with an aching rattle, keeping the words deep in his throat. ‘ but I want to. I want to stay. ’

“you lost your ring again?” magnus was always misplacing things in the loft, but he never imagined it would constantly be his wedding ring. in the year that they’ve been married alec can count on both hands how many times magnus has misplaced it, though it’s always somewhere it can easily be seen, magnus is just scattered lately with how busy he has been. alec thought surely he wouldn’t always be this busy, it’s been a good year now, but turns out once you become the High Warlock of Alicante you are very valuable. “i’m going to superglue that to your ring finger. did you check by the bathroom sink?” he asked.
