Aujourd’hui est un grand jour, c’est la saint valentin, bonne fête à tous les amoureux. Et quoi de plus approprié pour la saint valentin que de parler d��un jeu qui m’a … déplu : Proteus développé par Ed key. C’est dommage, parce qu’au premier abord le jeu est beau, l’univers est poétique, coloré. Un joli univers en pixel, plein de couleurs, d’animaux etc. Le jeu est lyrique. C’est vraiment beau, l’ambiance sonore est géniale. Tu t’approches des animaux, ça fait de la musique, chaque fleur, animal, etc, fait un bruit différent pour résonner à tes oreilles comme une douce cacophonie mélodieuse. C’est vraiment le genre d’univers que j’aime et auquel j’aurais vraiment pus accrocher. Sauf que pour moi un univers ne suffit pas à faire un jeu. C’est un jeu contemplatif dans un univers grandiose. Oui mais je trouve le jeu trop mou, les déplacements sont lents, finalement c’est pas vraiment excitant. Je me suis retrouvé là dedans en me disant: « ok où je dois aller, qu’est ce que je dois faire? » puis j’ai compris que je ne devais rien faire, et finalement je me suis dit, c’est joli, mais c’est long. Je veux dire avec un univers poussé comme celui là il manque pas grand chose pour en faire un grand jeu. Un gameplay plus rapide, plus d’interaction avec le monde, ce serait génial. A la place tu tombes dans un monde à la génération procédurale que je trouve inutile étant donné que dès le deuxième coup d’oeil (oui j’ai quand même persévéré malgré l’ennui du premier essai) j’ai trouvé inutile de recommencer. Et surtout, peut être est-ce un hasard, je ne sais pas mais l’il était presque identique à mon premier voyage. Alors, évidemment , si tu aimes le genre comtemplatif et reposant ce jeu est fait pour toi. Black Mothers Launch Microschools To End School-Prison Pipeline

In the Arizona desert, a new school model has Black parents driving across city lines to drop their children off each morning.

Frustrated with what they say is their public schools’ failure to provide quality education and nurturing environments for Black children and fearing the persistent school to prison pipeline, a group of mothers, many public school teachers, have created a network of their own schools.

Launched mid-pandemic just one year ago, the mothers’ goal is to grow the seven micoschools into 50.

“We could be advocating 24/7, and still not make the impact that we wanted to see. So, what do you do, do you go charter? Do you try to keep working in the public school system? Nope, nope, not us. We said, well, we can do it ourselves,” said Debora Colbert, executive director of the Black Mothers Forum, a Phoenix-based parent advocacy group.

In mixed-grade classes, students learn at their own pace and are guided by two teachers. Restorative discipline techniques, not punitive strategies, are the norm.

The Forum’s approach to learning has caught the attention of Arizona Governor Doug Ducey in a state where high school graduation rates hover about 8 percent below national averages and less than half of the graduating class went on to college in 2020.

With little to keep them there, students who do go onto higher education often leave the state and don’t look back, Colbert said.

In Phoenix-area churches, nonprofits and shared school buildings, 42 students comprise the first microschools launched last January with preliminary guidance from national microschool giant Prenda. The Forum’s sites have since made the transition to public charter schools within local network EdKey Sequoia Choice. -(source: the 74)
