Have you met Dare Wright's angsty little doll Edith and her friend Little Bear? Wright was a photographer and model, and she created a series of books known as The Lonely Doll series. She illustrated all the books with photographs of her childhood doll and two stuffed teddy bears in great, detailed scenes, often with disturbing images. Edith is often spanked in the books, and in this case she gets tied up. Many of the less creepy stories have been brought back into print, but not this one.
