sillies beget sillies enrichment idea #1
goal: be silly with your dog and create more moments of connection in your day
disclaimer: idk your dog so adjust or skip this game accordingly
activity: while your dog is distracted, pretend to "sneak up" (very obviously and dramatically) on them, using any furniture or walls to "hide" while you do so. don't say anything but use very obvious playful body language (big steps, grabby hands, side eye)
tip: don't do this while they're eating, but rather while they're playing independently or looking outside
goal: your dog should come and see what you're doing, bring you a toy, or watch you "sneak up". engage in a short play or big pets session (doesn't need to be long, 30-60 seconds is perfect. offer praise or a snack and disengage to return to what you were doing)

Request for prompts!
Hiya! This July, I and 279 other people will be playing a fanworks exchange game called Battleships! While sign-ups are closed, prompts are still open and will be throughout the game (which starts on July 12 and will probably go until near the end of the month). Battleships is basically played like the Battleships board game, but to call squares, you have to make fanworks first, and each fanwork has to be a gift for someone's prompt - so having prompts to work with is a super important part of the game. And you might get a fic, art, or podfic in response to your prompt!
You can go to the prompt form here to get started! If you want more instructions on filling it out, I've included an explanation below.
How to leave a prompt:
The full prompting rules are here, but here's a simplified version: First of all, you need an AO3 account, and your account needs to be set to receive gifts, or else nobody can give you a response to a prompt! Receiving gifts is disabled by default for newer accounts. Go to your preferences (you can find it from your dashboard or by selecting 'Hi, [your username]') and check that the 'Allow anyone to gift me works' setting at the bottom is checked.
At the prompt form, if you want to add more than one prompt, you can click the 'add another request?' button at the bottom to add up to 50. You can edit the prompts afterward (although you shouldn't make big changes mid-game) or remove them or add more whenever you want.
The fandom has to be one that has already been nominated by someone for the game - you can search for fandoms by typing in the box and clicking if you fandom shows up, but the search boxes can be a little glitchy, so you can also check the set of nominated fandoms (alphabetical here, or by medium here).
Then you select whether you want to ask for fic, art, and/or podfic.
The relationships box is used for both relationships and single characters (and sometimes objects, places, or ideas like worldbuilding). A tag like 1: Character means you are asking for a work centered on that character; this can be filled with a gen work, or a work with any relationship featuring the character, unless you add relationships or something like 'no romantic relationships' to your do not want list (see below). A tag like Character/Character means who are asking for work with a romantic and/or sexual relationship between the characters. A tag like Character & Character means you are asking for a work with a platonic relationship between the characters. Relationships also have to already be nominated; you can search with the box, but this one is also a bit glitchy sometimes, so you can also look for your fandom in the big list of nominated fandoms and relationships and click the arrow next to it to see what has already been nominated.
The additional tags and the optional tags field are basically the same thing, but the additional tags box has a limit of 20, and any after that go in the optional tags box. You have to request at least one additional tag from the list of additional tags, but you can request as many as you want. Be warned that the additional tags box can search the Battleship tags, but if you want to include more in the optional tags box, you have to copy and paste from the tag list. (Putting anything in either tags box except the tags from the Battleship tags list will get your prompt deleted by the mods!) If you want to add a lot of tags, there's a tickybox sheet that can help.
A fill for a prompt has to contain at least one relationship (or character) you requested and at least one additional tag you requested in a medium you requested. You can make more than one prompt for the same fandom if you want to ask for different relationships in different mediums or different additional tags for different relationships.
In the optional details box, you need to include at least a little bit of info for a potential creator. You can write about what you like in the prompted medium in general or any ideas for more specific prompts you have, like tropes, scenes, or AUs. You also need to either clearly list your do not wants (DNWs) or say that you don't have any. DNWs are things that you don't want to receive for any reason (you don't need to explain why), and creators are not allowed to include them when fulfilling a prompt. They should be stated neutrally, and you should try to make them clear and easy to understand. (For example: 'DNW: explicit sex, A/B' is good, while 'DNW: gross stuff' doesn't clearly state what it encompasses, and 'DNW that disgusting ship A/B' is not neutral.)
The archive warnings box allows you to indicate that you are interested in receiving works with those archive warnings. Not selecting them does not mean a fill can't include them (unless you add them to your DNWs) and selecting them doesn't mean that a fill must include them (unless you say 'DNW No Archive Warnings Apply').
Don't check 'Semi-anonymous Prompt?'. Battleship uses the gift functionality of AO3, so a creator can't gift a prompt fill to an unknown person.
When you're ready, click the 'submit' button! And hopefully someone will make something for your prompt 😀

My ( @apexhaven ) romantic selfship / fictional other blog, might have other types of selfships (ie: familial) but they won't go here. Probably. Unless I change this to not just being romantic f/os.
I'm dating Casper aka Grimmy as I'll also call him here among maybe other nicknames, from the game A Date With Death; Mammon from Obey Me!, who I'll also call by nicknames such as Mamm and noodleboy; Affogato Cookie, Black Sapphire Cookie, and Pure Vanilla Cookie, all three from Cookie Run Kingdom; Mystery from KPop Demon Hunters; and debating a few others. Fine with sharing for all unless specifically stated otherwise, I don't see why not when this would apply regardless in that I don't mind the idea of any partner of mine having other partners tbh (usually). Currently Pure Vanilla is probably what I'd consider to be my Main F/O I think? Unsure on sharing for Mystery.
Will prob in terms of relationship refer to Casper as my f/o, boyfriend, and maybe hubby or husband but we aren't married, just dating. I don't like the idea of marriage for myself. (previously just said "I don't like marriage" but that was easy to and had been misunderstood). As for with Mammon, sticking with f/o and boyfriend only feels right for now. Not sure for the cookies but definitely dating as a term plus ofc f/os, probably boyfriends, and with those three I kinda see it as a polyam in my mind. Mystery is f/o, partner, and boyfriend I reckon. Pretty boys >w<
Uh call me whatever you want but for here ig specific name to use can be Aplo / Apollo or any other name you can find for me from my other blogs or make something up I like random nicknames.
Anyone can interact idc but I block freely for whatever reason whether it be comfort or I just don't like someone etc doesn't matter. Also have something like this as a userbox a bit further down.
#apollo reblogs = any and all reblogs from other blogs even if I add comments or it's another of my own blogs (unless I forget to tag them which may happen sometimes)
#apollo rambles = all original posts / non reblogs / reblogs of my own posts on this acc
#apollo chats = inbox posts, if I get anything, will probably be paired with the rambles tag too, may also apply to reblogging asks I've sent to others in relation to things here
some posts of mine or reblogs I consider important below cut, including an ask game I'm currently trying if anyone wants to send me asks for it (please do I like interaction)

The biting wind of the night caressed your face as you ran along the shore. You were soaked through and through, water splashing around your boots with each hurried step. You had been cooped up in the Raft for too long.
It had been weeks since the civil war had shattered any form of bonding. You felt the weight of your betrayal, the distrust of those you had once fought with, and, deep down, the worst feeling of all: the feeling that Steve would never come looking for you.
You never thought he would come.
You had watched him make decisions that you knew had not been lightly. The separation was a deep wound, even more so when you were trapped in the Raft, in a cold, lonely cell, unable to communicate with anyone. Every day, you waited for something, or someone, to come to your rescue. But it never came. Steve never came.
For months, you fed on your anger and disappointment, and even though everyone around you treated you as if you were a criminal, you knew that you, too, were a victim of Steve's decisions.
But one day, opportunity knocked. A lapse in security, a breach in systems, and a little carelessness. It was your chance to escape. Without a second thought, you seized that moment to flee.
You slipped into the shadows; you moved with the agility of someone who has been hiding for too long. You didn't know where you were going, you just knew you had to get as far away as possible and keep running until you were safe.
The idea that Steve might be looking for you no longer seemed so real. You had left him behind. He wasn't coming.
First, there was a small vibration on the ground, then the sound of helicopters overhead. It couldn't be.
Maybe it was just a chase, maybe it wasn't him. But the sound was getting closer, and finally, just when you thought you could escape, something stopped you: a firm hand reaching behind you, pulling you forward with a strength only Steve Rogers could have.
In an instant, you were trapped, not in a strange body, but in arms that wrapped around you with the familiarity of him.
“You need me, I know you need me.”
It couldn't be. It had been so long; you had thought you would never see him again, but there he was.
You stopped dead in your tracks, staring at him, unable to believe it. It was real, and worst of all, he had found you. Because you knew it, you felt it: even though you had believed he no longer wanted you, you still needed him.
“What are you doing here? Why didn't you let me go?”
Steve didn't let go; his face was inches from yours.

Inhuman - 5
Fandom: MCU Pairing/starring: Eventually Bucky x fem!reader, Loki x fem!reader, Stucky, more (some canon, some not). Word count: 1830. Contents: A visit home, first mission, Thor. A/N: This was my first ever fanfic - it looked different in its original version but I'm editing heavily. It will be starring pretty much ALL of the MCU characters (Avengers, X-Men, Agent of SHIELD, etc), and will be tackling everything from "Civil War" and on differently than canon. Any questions are welcome. Please comment and like and reblog. Let me know if you want a tag.

Chapter 4
You are practising some sort of violence almost every day, and on the few days off there’s history of SHIELD and Avengers to read up on, or Bruce wants to test if any of your abilities are developing.
They seem not to, but at least you’re getting faster at working them in the sense that influencing the cells of any person’s becoming easier as you learn to zone in on them faster. It does require almost constant contact when you heal someone else and you can only do it through your hands which seems to puzzle Bruce as it, according to him, shouldn’t make any difference which limb you use. When you jokingly suggests trying with a foot, he actually considers it before realizing that it wasn’t a serious idea.
Also, the “radar” seems to be stuck with a radius of 52.4 meters (yes, he measures it on a regular basis which involves walking out until he disappears from “view”). It wouldn’t be fair to say that he’s disappointed by the lack of change, but he does seem less optimistic about the prospect each time you stop by.
“Certain developments have been reported in other cases, mostly in terms of the Inhuman’s ability to control the skills, of course, but sometimes also discoveries of new aspects to them.”
You know your way around the lab quite well by now. Stepping out from an advanced machine that measures electric impulses throughout the body, you shrug.
“There’s quite a lot tied in to this…skill…thing so what more d’you want?”
“What are the restrictions? Can you do anything else than healing to anyone?”
“I dunno.” You’ve thought about this already, but the prospect frightens you more than it makes you curious. Barely.
”Maybe…we can go on a field trip? See if you can sense animals too.” Tapping away on the tablet, Bruce’s in full investigative mode. “D’you sense any birds or rodents in the area?”
“No, but to be fair I haven’t even SEEN any close to the bunker.”
Scratching his head, Bruce manages to make his curly hair even more unruly than it already was before he snaps with his fingers. “Oh, that’s right…Tony’s testing a perimeter shield, maybe that’s why.”
“Shield?” It should hardly be a surprise given the team’s track record of pissing people off that they’d want some safety. “You expect any attacks on this place?”
“Well it’s a logical risk of course, but it would surprise me, really. Even so…we do have to take certain precautions,” he adds apologetically, “our existence in itself’s a provocation to certain people and it’d not be the first time we’d be targeted.”
“I read something in the files about a…a Zemo or s’mething?”
Bruce’s entire stance changes. Fists clench, mouth thins and his gaze bores into an invisible speck on the floor, making you think it might cause a fire. “Yeah, that was...not good...”
It seems to be one of those subjects that’s better left alone. “D’you think I’d be able to sense you if you went green?”
Admittedly, it’s not a much safer subject but thankfully the result’s curiosity rather than worry. Even so, precaution wins this time at least.
“Let’s not test unless absolutely necessary, but if, as it might seem, a higher-level consciousness has to be involved then you might not…the…other guy isn’t the brightest. Still it’s worth investigating!” And he goes off mumbling about self-awareness, evolution, and classical ways of determining this, completely forgetting your presence.
… …
As it turns out, the threats Bruce hinted at are rather regular even if you haven’t felt any of it so far because most are completely ridiculous and aren’t taken seriously. Others are which is why FRIDAY monitors the media for any hostile comments and analyzes the risk level. Stark has made sure she/it is tapped into SHIELD databases (that’s probably not official) as well as those of other major agencies all around the world which means that any information’s checked, and any recurring threat-makers are kept track of.
One of these seems to have raised a lot of red flags, leading Coulson to stop by one day for a visit.
“We don’t have a name, but there seems to be a lot of activity going on with weapons and personnel coming through the Netherlands to somewhere in Eastern Europe. We’ve people on the ground as we speak, but whoever’s behind this is covering their tracks very well.”
“I have a few favours I could call in still,” Natasha comments ominously.
The Director’s polite smile’s charming. “Yeah, do that.”
In the end, it’s decided that Natasha and Clint will go work the favour-owing contacts. Bruce’s heading back to SHIELD headquarters to meet with Simmons and look over some interesting results she has found relating to radiation induced cellular changes. This leaves just Stark and you in the bunker...much to his chagrin.
“I’ve said it before! I’m not a babysitter.”
“That’s fine, I don’t need to be watched over like that. I’m not going to run off.”
“Well, that’s too bad,” smiles Coulson, “I was planning on letting you on leave to see your family – I know it’s been a while.”
“I’m allowed to leave? That’d be awesome!” No offence, guys.
And so, it’s planned with strict instructions to stick to the existing cover story (last minute conference replacement) and extend it with a brilliant job offer at a privately funded hospital in the US to explain why you’d eventually go back overseas again.
Lying to your family wasn’t exactly something you had wanted to do from the beginning, but after having read about the Watch Dogs and seen the general stance on enhanced people…well it made sense in some twisted way. The benefit’s mostly for your family: the less they know, the safer they are. And it had been relatively simple to keep up the charade as long as communications were via emails at least. You’ve no doubt that it’ll be tougher face to face.
... ...
The entire world knows about the Avengers: it’s been in the news and especially the events in New York got a lot of focus from the media – even in Europe. After Sokovia there was a lot of talk by politicians on how to deal with, as the they said it, extraordinary people. That discussion has also found its way to your homeland but to be fair: this is a fairly uneventful country. Cozy, but quiet. Definitely no superheroes or super-villains here.
The trouble with good and relaxing times are, as Tolkien once wrote, that there is not a lot to say about them and such times also tend to end earlier than we want them to. Generally speaking, they don’t get interrupted by a god of thunder beaming down into the flower bed, though.
Both of these points are important to keep in mind as they might explain why your (normally) down-to-earth father makes his way out of the raspberry-patch at a very high speed at the noise of Bifrost slamming into the ground. And then he stops dead. It’s not Thor he’s staring at, it’s the broken and smouldering dahlias that are his main concern. Never mess with this man’s garden.
By the time you reach the two of them, the old man’s yelling at mythology incarnated about “watching out”, and how “no decent person would walk around smashing other decent people’s flowers”, and “who does he think he is anyways”.
Perhaps it’s prudent to explain what Thor’s facing at this point. The Midgardian’s in his late seventies and during the summer season, he spends all the time in the garden…meaning that he doesn’t really look as respectable as he could: hair (what’s left of it) messy and with small leaves or dirt in it, worn button-up shirt hanging open, and old, holey, cut-off work pants, socks and clogs. He’s sweaty, dirty, and skinny from running behind an old-fashioned lawn-mower all season on half a hectare of land. In other words: he’s a sight giving sore eyes, and it’s only understandable that Thor’s looking utterly lost and confused while trying to get this old man to just shut up.
“Dad! Dad, stop! I don’t think he can actually predict where exactly he lands!” you yells.
This at least makes the father shut up long enough for Thor to offer his sincerest apologies which do seem to calm the storm a bit.
Grabbing the quiet as an opportunity to drag the visitor out of earshot of your parents (by now your mom has made it over as well). They’re both upset and you wish you could explain to them what’s going on, but the truth is that you don’t know yet…you just know there has to be some important reason for Thor to appear without warning and that’s what you have to figure out first. Thankfully, he’s quick to accept who you are although he sticks to some slightly archaic greetings that make you blush. It’s not often someone kisses your hand in earnest.
“Lady [Y/N] daughter of [Y/mother’s/N]…the lair of the enemy has been located and it has befallen me to impart this information onto you and bring you with me to the site. There we shall be aided by our friends in conquering the villain. We must leave immediately.”
It’s difficult to convince your parents everything’s fine when their youngest daughter’s about to leave with a deity. Even more so when said daughter appears surprisingly unsurprised about the situation. With promises of a better explanations upon return (“Yes, mom, I WILL be back. No dad, he’s not a scoundrel and it won’t be dangerous.”) you get them calmed down and can turn to face Thor again.
He’s looking amused but also surprisingly tender. “It is joyous to witness such love among family members. Honoured elders of [Y/N]…it shall be my duty to guarantee the safe return of your daughter!”
This might not actually make your parents more relaxed but at least there are no protests.
“So...how do we get there?”
“Allow me, maiden.”
He ensnares your waist with the left arm, strong muscles bulking against your ribs, holding you tight as he starts to swing Mjølnir faster and faster.
Next moment, the ground is being ripped away from under you, clinging on to your belly in an attempt to keep earthbound, and all around you is wind and the colours of the rainbow. The sound’s deafening which makes it impossible for you to ask any of the questions you had in mind, but before long it’s over and the feeling of shooting into the air’s transformed into the sickening sensation of falling.
A few seconds later you’ve somehow ended up cradled in Thor’s arm and lap as he’s kneeling on the ground. A pattern’s smouldering on the ground all around you and you have an uncanny feeling that it might be your stomach contents. Deep breaths. Slooooow, deeeep breaths.
Looking around, you find Steve, Stark, Clint, Bruce, and Natasha.

Fellow Artists Who Use Discord, By Wary!
It looks like Discord is partnering with DomoAI, which is an app that uses AI to edit and restyle images. Unsure if this means it will scrape your art for training but it's still a good idea to take preventative measures.
Programs like Nightshade and Glaze add hidden bits and pieces to your art that can confuse and/or "poison" AI tools to create jarbled outputs. Although they may be a bit GPU-heavy if you don't have the best computer (Glaze has a web version, though!).
Reblog to spread the word!
EDIT:
Commenter told me that Nightshade and Glaze may do more harm than good in terms of deterring DomoAI. If anyone knows of a better preventative measure PLEASE reblog and put it in the tags or in the little comment area.

PSA: Free Software
Reading this may really save your time, privacy, and money! Reblog or share to spread awareness!
Folks often use software that’s expensive and sometimes even inferior because they don’t know there are alternatives. So to those unfamiliar: basically, free and open-source (FOSS) or "libre" software is free to use and anyone can access the original code to make their own version or work on fixing problems.
That does not mean anyone can randomly add a virus and give it to everyone—any respectable libre project has checks in place to make sure changes to the official version are good! Libre software is typically developed by communities who really care about the quality of the software as a goal in itself.
There are libre alternatives to many well-known programs that do everything an average user needs (find out more under the cut!) for free with no DRM, license keys, or subscriptions.
Using libre software when possible is an easy way to fight against and free yourself from corporate greed while actually being more convenient in many cases! If you need an app to do something, perhaps try searching online for things like:
foss [whatever it is]
libre [whatever it is]
open source [whatever it is]
Feel free to recommend more libre software in the tags, replies, comments, or whatever you freaks like to do!
Some Libre Software I Personally Enjoy…
LibreOffice
LibreOffice is an office suite, much like Microsoft Office. It includes equivalents for apps like Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, which can view and edit files created for those apps.
Tumblr media
I can't say I've used it much myself yet. I do not personally like using office software except when I have to for school.
OpenShot
OpenShot Video Editor is, as the name suggests, a video editing program. It has industry-standard features like splicing, layering, transitions, and greenscreen.
Tumblr media
I've only made one video with it so far, but I'm already very happy with it. I had already paid for a video editor (Cyberlink PowerDirector Pro), but I needed to reinstall it and I didn't remember how. Out of desperation, I searched up "FOSS video editor" and I'm so glad I did. There's no launcher, there's no promotion of other apps and asset packs—it's just a video editor with a normal installer.
GIMP
GNU Image Manipulation Program is an image editor, much like Photoshop. Originally created for Linux but also available for Windows and MacOS, it provides plenty of functionality for editing images. It is a bit unintuitive to learn at first, though.
Tumblr media
I've used it to create and modify images for years, including logos, really bad traceover art, and Minecraft textures. It doesn't have certain advanced tech like AI paint-in, but it has served my purposes well and it might just work for yours!
(Be sure to go to Windows > Dockable Dialogs > Colors. I have no idea why that's not enabled by default.)
Audacity
Audacity is an audio editing program. It can record, load, splice, and layer audio files and apply effects to them.
Tumblr media
Audacity is another program I've used for a long time. It is not designed to compose music, but it is great for podcasts, simple edits, and loading legacy MS Paint to hear cool noises.
7-Zip
7-Zip is a file manager and archive tool. It supports many archive types including ZIP, RAR, TAR, and its own format, 7Z. It can view and modify the contents of archives, encrypt and decrypt archives, and all that good stuff.
Tumblr media
Personally, I use 7-Zip to look inside JAR files for Minecraft reasons. I must admit that its UI is ugly.
Firefox
Firefox is an internet browser, much like Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Safari. While browsers are free, many of them include tracking or other anti-consumer practices. For example, Google plans to release an update to Chromium (the base that most browsers are built from these days) that makes ad blockers less effective by removing the APIs they currently rely on.
Tumblr media
Aside from fighting monopolies, benefits include: support for animated themes (the one in the picture is Purple Night Theme), good ad blockers forever, an (albeit hidden) compact UI option (available on about:config), and a cute fox icon.
uBlock Origin
As far as I know, uBlock Origin is one of the best ad blockers there is.
Tumblr media
I was on a sketchy website with my brother, and he was using Opera GX's ad blocker. Much of the time when he clicked on anything, it would take us to a random sponsored page. I suggested that he try uBlock Origin, and with uBlock Origin, that didn't happen anymore.
Linux
Linux is a kernel, but the term is often used to refer to operating systems (much like Windows or MacOS) built on it. There are many different Linux-based operating systems (or "distros") to choose from, but apps made for Linux usually work on most popular distros. You can also use many normally Windows-only apps on Linux through compatibility layers like WINE.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I don't have all four of these, so the images are from Wikipedia. I tried to show a variety of Linux distros made for different kinds of users.
If you want to replace your operating system, I recommend being very careful because you can end up breaking things. Many computer manufacturers don't care about supporting Linux, meaning that things may not work (Nvidia graphic cards notoriously have issues on Linux, for example).
Personally, I tried installing Pop!_OS on a laptop, and the sound output mysteriously doesn't work. I may try switching to Arch Linux, since it is extremely customizable and I might be able to experiment until I find a configuration where the audio works.
Many Linux distros offer "Live USB" functionality, which works as both a demo and an installer. You should thoroughly test your distro on a Live USB session before you actually install it to be absolutely sure that everything works. Even if it seems fine, you should probably look into dual-booting with your existing operating system, just in case you need it for some reason.
Happy computering!

20 Questions More
A deeper and more detailed version of the 20 questions for AO3 fanfic writers. Thanks @fabulousglitch for the tag!!
1) How do you keep getting ideas for your ship/fandom?
The blorbos won't leave me alone.
2) Which authors inspire you in your fandom, and why are they so freakishly good?
There are too many to count. I was introduced to Supergirl through fanfic and the canon I know to be true has been built on the backs of hundreds of contributors. It wouldn't do anyone justice if I started a list because 1. it would become a monolith of names and 2. I would definitely miss one(s). If you're in this fandom, you've likely inspired me, and that counts both for written, gif-ed, and drawn works.
3) Aside from the characters of your main ship, who are the characters you love to write?
Alex, but I don't always get it right.
4) Are there pairings or tropes you know for sure you'd never write about? Which ones?
There is a lot I probably wouldn't do, but I also for sure never expected to write an F1 au, so...
5) What is your writing process and why is it cursed?
I can either sit down and crush 1-3k words or sit down and tweak the same seven sentences for two hours. There is rarely an in between.
6) What is your favorite part of your writing process?
Editing. Oh boy do I LOVE editing. Those opportunities for finessing and fine-tuning and tweaking are *mwah*
7) What’s the weirdest thing you’ve had to research for a fic?
This isn't weird but is more recent: I did a deep dive into star constellations for a throwaway line in 'new kind of romance'
8) Is there a particular writing rule you struggle with (grammar, spelling, tense, reality in general)?
This is a nonanswer, but I would love to expand my vocabulary. The thesaurus is my writing buddy, but there are very real moments where I pout and scowl and glare at the ceiling because I can't think of the word that I'm feeling.
9) What was your hardest scene to write so far and why?
Any sort of conflict/confession/confrontation is always really hard for me, but they're also maybe my favorite things to write. I want the characters to hash things out and be honest and vulnerable, and I think tackling big emotions is a delicate balance. I never want to sound too forceful, but I don't want to leave things unsaid, but I don't want anyone to do anything out of character, but i don't want to yadda yadda...
10) Have your characters ever done something you didn’t expect, changing your plot completely?
see: 'crisis of indulgence'
11) If you could converse with any of the characters, who would it be and why?
Lena; I think she'd be a lot of fun to debate/argue with (respectfully).
12) What are some of the tropes or themes that you find yourself returning to in your writing?
(so far) always a happy ending. the readers and these characters deserve it.
13) What's your most important resource as a writer?
Living experiences (which takes time!). I don't think I could write heartbreak without having experienced that guttural feeling of loss in the same way I don't think I could write about failure or anger or insecurity or love or laughter. I think reading and the act of writing every day are incredibly resourceful, but the act of my lived experiences and those feelings is something I draw from in everything I write.
14) Can you share some of your strategies for editing and revising your work?
I edit as I go which doesn't work for everyone; however, a super fun thing I've picked up in recent works is this: when going to do a final edit of a <insert: chapter, one-shot, etc>, I read the last few paragraphs first. That sets me up to know exactly what the chapter is aiming for: feelings, motivations, plot, etc. I then use that as the anchor for how I tweak/edit/add small details to the rest of the chapter during my final read-through. I find it helps flesh out the larger story with smaller details.
15) Which is worse: making the summary, picking the tags, or the anxiety when you post your fic?
none of the above really since nothing about posting is carved in stone. tags and summaries can always be tweaked.
16) How do you define success for your fanfic - hits? Kudos? Comments? Bookmarks? Or just if you like it?
If it's finished. Bonus points if people get something out of it, but the act of having written something feels like the biggest success.
17) Do you have a playlist for your favorite character/ship?
Not really. I have go-to soundtracks for 'writing vibes' but nothing project/ship dedicated. (though 'like we're made of glass' was definitely inspired by very specific songs)
18) If fan art was going to be made from your work, which fic would you pick and which fan artist would you like to create it?
Again there are too many jaw-droppingly talented artists in this fandom to choose just one. It would of course be a wild crazy honor to see a work inspired by one of my fics, but there's already so much in this fandom to be inspired by that it doesn't feel like a loss.
19) How many WIPs do you currently have?
*sighs* for supercorp? there are a few (five). but the one that has most of my creative down time is a supercorp wicked au i have wanted to write for years but only have the faintest wisps of an outline for.
20) What's your advice to new fanfic writers?
Do it, do it, do it!
But also, one of my favorite pieces of advice for ANY creative venture is from Marc Dalessio who made this super cool 'creative process' graph in 2010 and included this line to summarize it: The ability to see improves before technical skill, and we often have difficulty assessing honestly exactly how our work looks.
It helps during those ruts when I look at everything I've recently written/drawn/created and scrunch up my nose in snobbish disgust because it just means I'm growing in some new way and not that anything I'm doing is inherently bad.
- - - - -
tagging (respectfully and without pressure) @sideguitars @fazedlight @inkedroplets if you want some rapid-fire q's thrown your way. but also anyone who wants to take a swing, i'd be jazzed to read the different answers

Tumblr media
PLEASE READ THIS-PINNED POST -Marilyn Manson was a controversial artist from the '90s-mid '00s. Obviously these days he's still controversial, but for other reasons. I will not be debating this or any other matter with anyone on this blog. If you've got shit to say, do it on your own posts. In the same breath, I need to mention that Manson himself is far from the only controversial member of the endeavor that makes up the whole of the Marilyn Manson project. I will not be debating any of them, either. I will not wash or censor history-who (or what) appears in these photos was there and the things that happened, happened. You and I can do nothing to change that, but it helps no one to edit the truth. -Manson has made a ton of work, from traditional art, photography, music, and other things. A lot of this features subjects that are 'not safe for work.' I will be uploading things that tumblr might (incorrectly of course) try and take down onto a separate page. But all the same, please be aware that this artist exists (to a certain extent) to provoke. If you see something you don't like, scroll on. -I'll be posting photos according to the era. I used to be able to tell just by looking-but I'm old now and my archives have been moved and rescued so much that they are in disarray, so if I misidentify the era and you catch and can correct it, it would be greatly appreciated. Just send the correct era/date/corrected information in a dm and I'll fix it. The same goes for the source of the image, photographer, and other people in them-if you know something I don't, please feel free to add on information. If it can be verified, I will edit the post so it is accurate.
-If you have a higher resolution version of something, please submit it or feel free to share it! -What's with the 'hierophant' tag? Back in the day, The Hierophant was a website and forum for Manson fans and a massive archive of images from all the eras up to that point. It was a formative part of my MM experience and now that it's gone, I actually have no idea who-or if anyone-saved those things, so I want to share what I have. The Nachtkabarett, project by Nick Kushner (may he rest in peace) once backed up all things Hierophant and more, and served as a sort of new version of the old site with a forum and archive, but has been left to stagnate, as presumably there is no one to care for it now. The site is broken up since Flash player stopped being viable. I'll be uploading some things from there, too, in an effort to preserve them. If you have rights or ownership to anything I post and you want it removed, contact me and we'll figure out what's going on. My utmost goal is to preserve the history of the massive art endeavor that Marilyn Manson was and still is, and no disrespect is ever meant or intended especially to those who came before me in trying to do so.
Finally, as I did back in the old days, every post made inside this 'era' will be tagged also with that era (currently we are in 'One Assassination Under God.') Partly, this is so newer fans have access to these images, but on the other hand, it's also shorthand for when, roughly, they were posted to the blog. Happy hunting in the archives. r

I once found myself foolishly complaining to my old therapist about some deeply unsatisfying exchange I had on tumblr with somebody who had willfully misconstrued what I said and was going after me about what they decided I meant, just because that was what they would rather talk about. You know, the usual. My therapist threw me off my game by just asking my why I post here to begin with, instead of indulging my desire to passionately bitch and moan. She seemed very skeptical about whatever I said, I had the idea that she wanted me to admit that I was either looking for a fight, or attention, or validation from a bad source where I am destined to encounter a lot of friction. (Man o man, if only she knew about the absolutely bonkers and irrational "you are valid" culture we have here...) And I mean, she's right, you ARE destined to encounter a lot of friction on tumblr if you do anything remotely personal with it, but somehow that annoyance can be outweighed by
a) the internal satisfaction of putting your thoughts in order
b) the catharsis of venting, even into the void
c) the small but unignorable possibility that someone will deeply understand what you said, or have something relevant and provocative to add based on their own unique and valuable experience/expertise.
I think about turning off replies all the time now, quite a lot of the time there's someone being rude either on purpose or inadvertently, because they're too obtuse or thoughtless to consider the implications or real usefulness of what they are saying. Sometimes I think about turning off reblogs on everything too, and I'm trying to develop the habit of stopping before I post to ask myself, every single time, how I'm going to feel when some total cretin reblogs something that is obviously either not universally applicable (e.g. just personal in-the-moment venting) or actually not their business (discussion of personal tragedy that you'd think people would have the good sense to leave alone, like just let strangers who need to talk about something do so in peace?). All of these things have happened more and more lately, and I think what would be really great for me is if I developed a much tougher hide, if I developed a mental baleen that filters out all the shit I don't need to care about and lets in all the tasty, nutritious stuff that I'm actually here for, that I like so much that it makes all the chaff totally worth it.
My problem is that I don't have that natural thing that tells you what incoming stimulus is relevant and what you can completely ignore, I'm curious about EVERYTHING especially how other people think and behave. When I hear something insulting or idiotic directed at me I immediately start processing it like it's a mystery that it is my duty to unravel, instead of casually throwing it in the trash like I should. This morning I posted about how I was reminded of a personal tragedy by some stupid thing a business did to me, and I get this complete stranger unloading his own version of that tragedy, only to then condemn me morally for my interaction with the business. Like does he think I'm going to be so humbled by his "direct action" that it's going to change the world? What was the goal besides picking a fight before the sun is all the way up in the sky? Yesterday I posted links to a bunch of film scholarship I published along with some new blu ray releases, literally calling it my life's work, and somebody reblogged it and put in the tags that they don't like one of the movies and they don't know what the other two are. So...what was the point here? Are you planning on buying two expensive collector's editions of movies you don't know by a director you don't like? I mean thanks for promoting my work, I guess if the price of your sponsorship is that you say rude, pointless things that don't mean anything to anyone, then I'll take it? It might have a positive impact on my mental health if I turned off replies and reblogs universally, but then I wouldn't get to hear from any of the smart and nice guys I've met on here who have opened my eyes to all sorts of things. So yeah my Christmas wish or New Year's resolution or whatever is to give a shit much, much more selectively, for the rest of my life.
PS Regarding disagreements on the internet: There is an important qualitative difference between someone saying something you find disagreeable on their own blog, which you don't even have to be aware of if you don't want to, and someone going out of their away to like cross into your yard to start a fight about what's on your blog ~as if~ you had called them on the phone and said it directly to them personally. Most of what you see on the internet doesn't require your input at all, if you don't really have anything to add except your own emotional content. The difference: Learn it, know it, live it!

Online Notepad
Improve Your Work: Top Reasons Why You Should Use An Online Notepad
Improve how you work with an online notepad—find out the many benefits it offers for making your work easier. Whether you're a student, a professional, or someone who likes writing ideas down, an online notepad can offer a lot of benefits.
Easy Access Whenever And Wherever You Need
One big advantage of an online notepad is how easy it is to get to. Unlike regular notepads that you have to carry around, you can use an online notepad from any device that's connected to the internet. Whether you're at home, work, or out and about, you can get to your notes easily. This is really helpful for people who travel a lot or work from different places, because it means they can always get to important information.
Tumblr media
Real-Time Collaboration For Enhanced Teamwork
Online notes often have features that let many people work on the same document together at the same time. This is really useful for team projects, when people are brainstorming ideas, and for writing together.
Working together in real-time means you don't have to keep sending emails back and forth. All the changes and ideas are in one place, which makes it easier to see what's been done and how things are going.
This feature helps teams work better together and makes sure everyone knows what's happening and what needs to be done.
Improved Organization
It can be hard to keep track of many protected text, ideas, and documents. An online notepad gives you tools to help keep everything in order. You can make folders, use tags, and search for specific notes quickly.
Some online notepads also give you templates for different kinds of documents, like to-do lists, meeting notes, and project plans. These things make sure your notes are easy to find and well-organized.
Auto-Save And Backup
One of the common worries when using a regular notepad is losing your notes because of damage or misplacing it.
Online notepads usually have auto-save and backup features. These features make sure that your notes are saved automatically and kept safe in the cloud.
This means you don't have to worry about losing your important information. If your device stops working or if you accidentally delete something, you can easily get your notes back from the backup.
Cross-Platform Compatibility
Cross-platform compatibility means that many online notepads can work well on different devices and operating systems.
It doesn't matter if you're using a desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone - you can access and edit your notes without any problems.
This makes sure that your experience is smooth and consistent no matter which device you're using.
Enhanced Note-Taking With Multimedia Integration
Online notepads are different from regular notepads because they can do more than just text. You can add pictures, audio files, videos, and links directly into your notes.
This helps you make more interesting and informative documents that aren't just plain text. For example, students can add images and videos to their study notes, and professionals can put charts and graphs in their meeting notes.
Customization:
An online notepad has many options for customization. This means you can change how it looks and works to fit your needs. You can pick different fonts, colors, and layouts to make it feel right for you.
Some online notepads even have extra features. For example, they can highlight code for people who write computer programs or support markdown for writers. These options make online notepads good for many different people.
Affordability
Some fancy traditional notepads and organizers can cost a lot of money. But many online notepads are free or very cheap. Even the best versions of these tools usually cost less than the physical kind. This makes online notepads a smart choice for anyone who wants to take notes and get organized without spending too much money.
Environment Friendly
Using an online notepad instead of a paper one is better for the environment. When you go digital, you use less paper and help save trees and natural resources.
It's a small change, but it's important for making our way of living more sustainable. For people who care about the environment, switching to an online notepad is a good way to reduce their impact on nature.
Privacy
Several online notepads provide strong security features to keep your information safe. You can use things like password protection, encryption, and two-factor authentication to make sure your notes stay private and secure.
This is especially important for sensitive information, such as personal thoughts, business plans, or confidential meeting notes. The peace of mind knowing your data is safe is invaluable.
Integration:
Many online notepads can connect with other apps and services that help with productivity. These might include calendar apps, project management tools, and cloud storage services.
This integration is useful because it makes your work smoother. For example, you can link your notes to your calendar events, tasks, and files. This means that all the information you need is easy to find and use.
Easy Sharing
Sharing online notes quickly and efficiently is another big advantage of using an online notepad.
Whether you need to send a grocery list to a family member, share meeting notes with colleagues, or give lecture notes to classmates, online notepads make it easy.
Most online notepads offer several ways to share, such as through email, direct links, and integration with social media. This makes sure that your notes can get to the people who need them without any trouble.
Conclusion:
There are numerous benefits to using an online notepad. From enhanced accessibility and real-time collaboration to improved organization and security, an online notepad can greatly boost your productivity and streamline your workflow.
Whether you're a student, a professional, or simply enjoy writing, an online notepad is a versatile and invaluable tool that can cater to your needs in the digital age.
Embrace this technology to enjoy a more efficient, organized, and secure note-taking experience. Elevate your note-taking with Notes Online today!

DEVBLOG DAY #3: A USEFUL RESOURCE
So not much progress with the engines today, or any for that matter lmao XD...
But I did find something else.
It's called "The One Page Gane Design Document" ("The One Page GDD"), made by BiteMe Games. A link to their channel can be found below. Go show them some support they're cool.
In essence it is a way to get the core ideas and goals of your game development project down early on to keep yourself on track and try and prevent too much scope creep or drift. At the moment I don't plan on rigidly sticking to it but it could still prove to be very useful:
There is a PDF version that you can get from them, but here is a screenshot from my phone (use the PDF though it'll just be easier that way lmao XD):
Tumblr media
So to fill it out for our dev team at the moment: These are the **current** details that we have agreed upon right now:
Executive Pitch and Story: see devblogs #1 and #2
USPS, Objectives, Price, Age Rating, Planned Release and Supplemental Art: Ask us later if we get that far lmao XD
Playtime: Roughly 3-4 hours, could easily get longer if we decide to tho
Platforms: Steam/PC&Mac to start with
As for other news: We agreed that we could enter some games jams at the moment to build up experience with the game engines, and that we could entertain the idea of having multiple games in the works at once.
If anyone is reading this far, thanks :)
Goodnight y'all!
Edit: It has come to my attention that I didn't add tags to this one. Whoops let me just fix that real quick lmao XD

So there are a few possible factors at work here [edited to add] - besides your point in your tags about gothic horror, opulence, wealth and class, which is extremely valid as far as the aesthetic experience of vampires goes. I'm as "guilty" of this as anyone - my V:tM is Rich Bitch Simulator 2018, it's part of the power fantasy of roleplaying as far as I'm concerned.
Anyway!
The first is the original V1 Chicago By Night. The whole setup with a prince and primogen and sheriff and harpies was apparently never meant to be the default, but a) Chicago By Night was definitively good at what it did, and b) gamer brain loves to take a single "it may be like this" indicative example as a definitive "it's always like this" hard fact. Someone else in my notes has brought up the idea of the Camarilla's hierarchical structure as offering a "levelling up" opportunity and again, gamer brain loves that stuff - it fits. Camarilla drift started early!
The second is playable Sabbat happening. My old tag for Sabbat PCs was something like "a mistake I always enjoy making" and I stand by that. Once the Sabbat were introduced as playable, they became part of a much easier-to-parse conflict between different kinds of awful authoritarian institution. And that kind of conflict is deemed essential to wordbuilding and storytelling, and I could spit fire at modernist manuals of style and creative writing institutions for hard selling the idea of Conflict Uber Alles but... moving on. The point is, the central conflict of V:tM shifted once the Sabbat and their cool powers and infernalism and hierarchy just as developed and substantive as the Camarilla came along.
The third is the innate nature of revolutionary politics, especially fictive ones. That one line about “It has become easier to imagine the end of the world than the end of capitalism.” Now: the Camarilla isn't capitalist, it's neofeudalist, and it's not pursuing an unlimited growth fallacy. But the effect - a status quo that's so entrenched, so overexposed, so rhetorically reinforced through repetition and reiteration - is the same. The Camarilla has been hard sold on the "There Is No Alternative" line (same as neoliberalism) and once that becomes believed, the Anarch pitch that's literally an alternative becomes harder and harder to write into and develop.
And, as I've been saying since the start, imagining alternatives to an authoritarian system and doing the scud work necessary to bring those alternatives about is hard and thankless. It's the fault line in Anglosphere liberalism as a whole and, well, V:tM is a dark mirror, the World of Darkness shows us ourselves and our failings on a lurid, exaggerated Gothic stage. Anarchs fall down the same hole of struggle sessions, tendency fighting, or what-is-to-be-done handwringing as their real political counterparts. You're supposed to want to do that work anyway, but... who wants a game where you can't get wins because your cause is self-sabotaging? Who wants to spend the time pretending a revolution when we're so badly in need of a real one? I don't agree with these arguments... but I can see the shape of them, and how people who just want to pretend to be vampires might opt for the version that's less work.
You know what I can't stand about VtM?
Camarilla apologism.
The Camarilla are monsters with rules, and they will use those rules to justify slavery and exploitation and abuse and control and murder, for ever. And people tell me these are the good guys. They're absolutely not. The Beast is sitting down at table and wearing a pretty dress and her table manners are ever so lovely and her dinner conversation sparkles, but you're still getting eaten alive. And you have to love it. They have made you love it. Nothing in their rulebook says they can't.
I have never actually run a Camarilla game. Not properly. I think it's because that level of authoritarianism makes me urge. It's weird, because I love Dark Ages Vampire with all my soul and those are the same rules, but Dark Ages Vampire doesn't have the "default sect" phenomenon, the expectation that you the players are going to be aligned with this side and therefore that's the right side because you the players are on it.
Woobifying the Sabbat and apologising for the Camarilla makes the real default protagonists of V1 - the Anarchs - even more toothless than they already are, burdened by their writers' failure to imagine a way out of the status quo (not blaming them for that, progressive politics are hard and it's only a bloody game, innit?). And as the game drifted more and more into Camarilla-as-default-vs-Sabbat-the-Anarchs-are-also-there... I don't know where I'm going with this, I was just confronted by the monstrosity of the Camarilla before I'd even had a cup of tea this morning and it's great horror but don't ever tell me they're the good ones. Don't you dare.

The STRIKE gym was virtually empty at that time of night. Most of the team had finished their workout and had gone to the showers or their homes. There was only the distant echo of crashing weights and the scattered murmurs of a few agents still hanging around.
You were there with Steve Rogers, pretending you had come just to train some more.
And then, in a fit of madness—or rather, lust—you had ended up in the gym's storage room.
The small storage room was barely big enough to move between shelves full of training gear, water bottles, and boxes of supplements. But at that moment, all that had taken a back seat; it didn't matter. Steve wasn't exactly someone who was impulsive... but with you, everything was different.
His back bumped against the metal shelves as you pulled him towards you, and he, without thinking, lifted you with ease, making your legs wrap around his waist. His lips found yours in a desperate kiss, then his lips left wet kisses down your neck, your collarbone....
What happened next was an absolutely delicious mess.
The shelf wobbled dangerously as his movements became more frantic; some bottles fell to the floor, and there was a moment when you thought it would all come crashing down on top of you. But nothing mattered more than the feel of his skin against yours, the choppy sound of his breaths, and the way his fingers clung to you with intensity.
You had no idea how much time had passed when you finally broke apart, both of you still breathing hard, trying to regain control. Steve ran a hand through his damp hair, smirking.
“I think that... wasn't the wisest thing to do.”
“Definitely not,” you said.
After getting dressed, you both opened the cellar door cautiously, peeking out to make sure the hallway was empty. But as soon as you took a step outside, you froze in your tracks.
The entire STRIKE team was there.
All of them.
They had forgotten that there was an extraordinary evening training session that night.
Brock Rumlow, Jack Rollins, and at least five other agents were standing just outside, some with their arms crossed, others with expressions of pure mockery, and one or two trying to hold back a laugh.
Rumlow was the first to break the silence.
“Well, well, well, well... so this is why Rogers left us training alone.”
Steve, next to you, tensed up as if he'd rather face an entire army than the humiliation they were about to experience.
Jack Rollins clicked his tongue, feigning surprise.
“In the hold, Cap? Really?”
You wanted to disappear. Evaporate. Turn to dust and be blown away from that damn scene.
Steve cleared his throat and crossed his arms, trying to pretend he wasn't completely embarrassed.
“How long have you been here? “he asked.
Rumlow smiled even wider.
“Oh, long enough to know that the gym probably isn't the best place for this.
Another wave of laughter exploded through the group. Steve closed his eyes for a moment, exhaling in frustration, and you barely dared to look sideways at him.
You couldn't look at anyone.
You literally couldn't lift your head without wanting to bury your face in the floor.
“Are you guys going to stay here or are you going to train? “growled Steve, uncomfortably.
“Nah, we're done for the day,” replied Jack with a smirk.
But before they left, Rumlow turned one last time and winked at them.
“Just make sure you don't leave any evidence. We don't want another report of “suspicious movements” in the hold.
The team walked away with a chuckle, leaving you standing there next to Steve in complete silence.
Finally, after a long moment, you let out a long sigh and pursed your lips in frustration.
“I'm going to have to avoid this room for weeks.”
Steve ran a hand over his face and muttered under his breath:
“Yeah, me too.”

Keeping the enthusiasm for the musical so high that I ended up literally travelling to Japan to watch it live!!

Friends, time to get your high fives out of the crisper drawer.
Here's your card for this edition of the bingo. Remember, zero need to sign up, but if you want to share it with us so we can reblog and share the love, make sure to @ us by Monday, May 1.
Remember this, too: you don't have to complete the card! Any number of these things you can do will be a great high-five to whatever creator you want to shout-out or encourage. Just make sure you provide a link to whatever you're high-fiving about. (Except for 'message a creator', although if you want to brag about the cool person you messaged feel free to link to their work!)
Below the cut you'll find the usual list of definitions for each square in case you need any help or ideas, along with a black & white version of the card if you want to get creative and make it your own.
Here’s the way we’re defining the activities associated with each card. If any of this is confusing after you read it over, send us a message and we’ll help!
- ‘leave kudos on a fic’
This is the easiest one! Just go out and find a fic you like and leave a kudos on it, if you haven’t already. It’s a small gesture but it makes an author know that someone actually read their story!
- ‘reblog/retweet an art post’
Find any art post you like and share it! Here’s the catch: you need to interact with it a little. When you reblog/retweet, please tell the creator what you thought about the piece – you can add some tags, or reply to the post, or quote-retweet or add a comment, or anything! A simple “I love this!” is nice but some details are even better (“your linework is so good!” or “that shade of blue is perfect”). One thing to think about: a lot of art on Tumblr is reposted (like when a user posts another artist’s work from Pixiv, say), so it’s nice if you make an effort to interact with posts that are actually from the creator if you can. That way the artist will see your comment!
- ‘reblog/retweet a fic post’
Same as the above, but for fic! Again, tags/replies/comments are needed, preferably with a little detail. You don’t need to be super eloquent or leave a detailed review (although if you have time/energy, that would be appreciated!); a tag as simple as “that was really cute” or “great characterization!” will do. Like with the art posts, it’s nice if you reblog directly from the writer (if you can) – some fics are posted by AO3 feed bots and the like, so the author may not even know a reblog has happened.
- ‘reblog/retweet an edit’
Same as the above, but for edits! Edits can include a gif set, or a set of screencaps, or even a fanvid. And, again, some simple tags/replies are needed. “I love that song choice!” for a vid or “great coloring!” on a gifset can let people know their work is being appreciated.
- ‘comment on a fic’
Find a fic, on any fic-hosting site you like, and leave a comment. That’s it! Again, no need to leave a novel-length comment (unless you’re inspired!) – a sentence or two is all we’re asking for this square to be considered complete. This is a great opportunity to let a writer know how their piece made you feel, or what section you particularly liked.
- ‘message a creator’
‘Creator’ here can mean anyone who makes *anything* to do with fandom: art, edits, fic, meta, knitted sweaters with character faces on them – if they’ve made anything, they’re a creator, and now’s your chance to let them know they’re appreciated. Send a message (anonymous or not!) letting them know that you enjoyed their work!
- ‘make a rec post’
This is a chance to tell your fandom friends about something they need to see. You can rec a fic, a blog, a fan event, an artist, an author, that person who knits sweaters with character faces – any kind of fandom thing that you want to make sure people see. This doesn’t have to be long or complicated, but feel free to go into as much detail as you want! Just make your own post, on Tumblr or Twitter or wherever else seems best to you, and give that thing you loved a little fanfare.
- ‘interact with a meta post’
A little love for our analytical friends! Here, you can reblog/retweet any kind of meta post for your fandom, whether it’s a three sentence headcanon or an essay-length dissection of why Character X is the absolute best character in Fandom Y. It’s even better if you respond to the meta, whether that’s agreeing or (respectfully!) adding your own thoughts, but sharing it is the main thing here.
And here’s the non-decorated version, in case you feel like making it your own. Get creative, if you want!
