I get geckos outside my house and the other day I found out I can grab em super easily >:)
#they don’t drop their tails idk if these ones just can’t or if they don’t think I’m that much of a threat#but I also don’t grab them by their tails so that might be why too#their bites are rly small and cute :)#I never really knew how prehensile their tails were they wrap them around my finger like a snake#I thought they’d be WAY harder to catch but they don’t start wiggling until I already have a grip on them LMAO#once I’m holding them for a while they stop wiggling idk if they’re trying to play dead or if they’ve just accepted their fate#but I’m sure they’re happy when they find out I’m not gonna eat them#sassy speaks#edit looked into it and I’m pretty sure they’re mediterranean house geckos#and they CAN drop their tails so I guess grabbing them by their bellies means they know tail dropping isn’t gonna help
