twau is fantastic but unfortunately it will make u think the comics will also be fantastic. which is a mistake
#📝: misc#I love bigby wolf so so much he’s a fantastic character but his best moments imo are when you aren’t playing him like a total dickwad#but . the comics bigby feels like total dickwad bigby and that is infuriating#which sucks. but I think snow’s treatment is so so much work.#edgy fairytales are kinda tired and I will be real Fables often feels very Alan Moore (derogatory)#also bill just doesn’t know how to write women. like at all#the best characters in twau were holly nerissa and snow!!! they were all really well written and complex ppl#twau has an edge to it but I feel like it backs it up with good character writing and a fascinating mystery!!!#meanwhile fables… all edge seeped with misogyny and frankly very like… eesh#I don’t feel like twau shies away from its tougher content but it’s not as voyeuristic or demeaning to the women involved#meanwhile. snow gets assaulted A Lot and even by bigby once which FUCK off#agh . whatever#I miss telltale’s games and I have been waiting for twau s2 since 2015ish
