Group G, Round 2, Poll 1:
Propaganda under the cut
Lila Pitts
She borrowed her best friends ten year old and travelled 30 years into the future to when her ex boyfriend lived and (with the ten year old being in on it) pretended that the kid was hers with the ex boyfriend and made him look after him. She did this instead of telling the ex boyfriend that she was pregnant. I need to stress that it had been like a couple of months since she saw the guy and she showed up and was like oh yeah it’s been ten years and this is your son time to step up deadbeat. The kid wasn’t even the same ethnicity as either of them. He fell for it???
Edelgard von Hrelsveg
1) She started a war against the church, lied to her classmates, and wields a giant axe 2) War Crimes :)
1. Starting the war (planning, preparation, or waging a war of aggression) 2. Invading the Alliance (the deliberate attacks on property of neutral states) 3. The imprisonment of Rhea (the mistreatment of prisoners of war) 4. The imprisonment of Rhea (the taking of hostages) 5. Forced conscription or death (the mistreatment of civilians, civilian labourers forced to support war effort/slave labor) 6. Turning people into crest beasts (biological warfare experiments on humans) 7. Using crest beasts (the use of chemical and biological weapons in warfare) 8. Wanting the Nabateans dead (genocide) 9. Keeping the citizens in Enbarr during a battle (the use of human shields) 10. Petra is a political hostage and possible enemy (Compelling a prisoner of war or other protected person to serve in the forces of a hostile Power) 11. Attacking the monastery (intentionally launching an attack in the knowledge that such attack will cause incidental loss of life or injury to civilians or damage to civilian objects) 12. Attacking the monastery (intentionally directing attacks against buildings dedicated to religion, education, art, science, for charitable purposes, historic monuments, or hospitals) 13. Gathering soldiers disguised as merchants and pilgrims at the monastery for infiltration (the feigning, before an attack, of non-combatant status) 14. The stealing and using of crest stones (the abuse of corpse) 15. The killing of Claude (killing an enemy who, having laid down arms, or having no longer means of defence, has surrendered at discretion)"
Literally a girlboss (emperor) building her empire (conquering the continent)
"Gaslight: when confronted by Dimitri about her working with the people that caused a genocide said “I had nothing to do with that.” and “Why bother with this? Stay silent and fight.” Gatekeep: when battling Claude she said “But without sufficient knowledge of this land's suffering, I can't entrust Fódlan to you!” (Which is funny because Claude gets to be the only lord that learns the true history of Fodlan) Girboss: starts a war of conquest so that she can rule over the entire continent "

Another abuse of power because SOMEONE has to rely on two versions of Gullveig, Christmas Edgelgard, and Brave Felix while having Azura make sure at least ONE of these broken units get an extra turn, LIKE THEY FUCKING NEED IT.
Get plenty of multi move units for this bullshitter.

"Oooh! WELL, maybe one day you will find someone!" And he nods at Zhilan's question. "MHM! I liiiiiiiiike you, Wang Yi, I like Yolanda, Byleth, I like Aether, Edgelgard, Monkey King, Eiden..." The list goes on, but he stops at a specific name of course, "I like Zhang San."
If Zhilan is observant, he may be able to hear the difference in how Sun says he likes Zhang San.
"I understand!" Someone like Zhang San! OR like Zhilan! Zhilan is a very good listener and a very good helper too! "I bet you're a very great cheerleader to Wang Yi when he needs it."
"Zhilan! Do you have anyone you like though?"

After almost 2 weeks, I have finally beaten all the ( good paths ) of Fire Emblem Three Hopes!! I will finally be able to be online again. ( but I gotta play that new otome game as well lol ).
#[ It’s Akira / Joker loving hours. OOC ]#maaaaaaan that was a long ass game;;#everything was a bit tedious;;#I personally like Strikers because it was more straightforward;;#also the blue lions best route in both games now;;#kind of did edgelgard dirty in the route but I am not a fan of hers so it didn't bother me as much;;

DAY TWO: FE3H HANDWRITING CHALLENGE
...a favorite support scene.
Three Houses is always discussing dark versus light, and symbols with deeper meanings and stories... like daggers... I love that Byleth is Edgelgard’s guide.

Kouyou Ozaki
She's an executive in the mafia in the story (girlboss) who told this girl Kyouka that she could never be a good person and escape the mafia because she's a "flower of darkness" who "can only bloom in darkness" (gaslight) and stabbed the main character because she thought he wasn't being a good enough big brother to Kyouka (gatekeep)

Personally I like Edgelgard, but considered her to be ultimately a villainous figure. Its awesome she controls her own destiny, unlike past I like how she is allowed to be the master of her own agency, how many female antagonists in Fire Emblem can you say that applies to; Ishtar, Brenya & Selena are all fanatically loyal to one guy. Nuibaba, Sonya's sisters, Eremiya, Aversa, & Arete are all brainwashed with virtually no agency & had their villainous career started by a man abusing them.
I’m not familiar with the rest of the franchise so I cannot comment on that.
Regarding Edelgard, you got a right to your opinion, but I disagree. Like I really, genuinely think she’s heroic, but I see how others might consider things she does to be moral dealbreakers (and anti/ counterintuitive heroines are just as rare as serious villainesses outside of the usual tropes, you can tell by how confused everyone gets when one shows up anywhere in media)
Whether you like the concept of something has no bearing on whether it is what’s actually present in one particular work and it’s not bad because it happens to be doing something else. What ppl think is interesting varies wildly after all there’s never one BEST/ RIGHT option in creative work the whole point of creativity is to be… creative.
I mean I that I really like the idea of a humanist and logical-utilitarian, semi-Nietzschean (in the self-directed fashion - I don’ think he wholly agreed with humanism) hero and that might be a source of bias but insofar as that is humanly possible I do think that I have good reasons to think that’s what the devs were actually shooting for here, and that they succeeded, while still having her feel more like a sometimes fallible human who tried to live by beliefs rather than the abstract embodiment of a concept.
Subverting the villain tropes is part of the uniqueness appeal, and without that she’d just be a genderswapped version of dime a dozen villains.
Giving a trope boobs does not by itself make it less tropey - it can if the author knows what they’re doing, but you still need actual creativity.

" If you become a threat to Lady Edelgard , I won't hesitate to eliminate you myself " ( he's a nice person i swEAR )
unprompted / always accepting / @vestraborn
as a servant to edgelgard, hearing this from hubert was surprising in one way, yet not surprising in the other. of course being devoted to those you serve makes sense … though to even these lengths – and a student threatening a teacher, nonetheless – that was a surprise to the professor. however byleth could assume that such things did not matter to hubert when it came to edelgard. it was respectable, in one way or another.
“ i’ll keep that in mind. ” words spoken after a moment of thinking. “ though, i will say i’m not particularly worried. ” their gaze does not waver once as they speak. byleth, while modest in some regards, has confidence in their own ability. but even before that, they do not have any plans on turning their back on edelgard. hopefully hubert will come to realize that with time.
