Most people who wandered into places like this a majority of the time had no clue what type of place they’d come across, with maybe the occasional non-vampire coming by solely because they were interested in— well. Being a donor, to say the least.

Edgar couldn’t assume the latter of Archer, who seemed to be poking around the place curiously, trying to talk with people and asking questions to the patrons entirely unaware of the confused looks some were directing their way.

And unfortunately, it looked like Edgar would have to cut his own conversation short— just when he’d managed to find a cute random to flirt with. Just barely on the cusp of talking the guy into a little fun had been when he was distracted by Archer suddenly milling about the place, and once they spot him and beeline in his direction he finds himself glancing their way, touch of awkwardness on his face.

Hell.

He gives the other guy an apologetic look, who takes the hint and steps off for now.

“Hey to you too, but uh— I don’t think is the best place for you to be. You do know where you are, right? If you stick around you might become someone’s meal.”

Or, well, they could try— but Edgar sure as hell wouldn’t just let that happen to someone who wandered into the midst of the party unaware. “Let’s just, step outside for a sec, yeah?”
