Physique: Kino a de courts cheveux noirs-grisâtres et des yeux roses en cuivre. Il porte la même tenue que les autres frères dans le jeu, vraisemblablement un uniforme scolaire plus défini. La partie supérieure de cette tenue est composée d'un blazer cramoisi avec des parures dorées, d'un ascot noir avec un fermoir blanc en forme de crâne et d'une chemise blanche à col roulé en dessous avec une bande noire autour de chaque manchette. Il y a aussi une aiguillette sous la forme d'un mince cordon d'or reliant l'épaule de son blazer et le fermoir du crâne. Autour de sa taille et sous le blazer, il porte une ceinture noire avec une boucle rectangulaire en or. La moitié inférieure de son uniforme se compose de pantalons à carreaux noirs et de chaussures blanches à semelles noires.

Caractère: Pour une raison inconnue, il souhaite détruire la race des vampire. C'est un prince naïf et égoïste qui pense qu'il est naturel que les gens fassent des choses pour lui. Il est le prince égocentrique typique qui suppose que les autres feront ce qu'il demande. Kino n'hésite pas à tuer quiconque se met en travers de sa route. Kino a une personnalité très similaire à celle d'Ayato.

Histoire: Kino a été abandonné à Rotigenberg, étant bébé. Le père de Yuuri l'a trouvé et les a élevé ensemble comme s'ils étaient de vrais frères. Mais les autres goules ne l'ont pas aimé. Ils en voulaient aux démons qui les avaient persécutés. Parce que Kino était un "vampire", il est devenu l'objet physique de leur haine. Bien que les goules savaient plus que quiconque la souffrance et la discrimination sans raison, ils ne pouvaient pas arrêter l'impulsion de leur haine et essayer de comprendre. Kino a subi une terrible discrimination de la part des goules et même de la violence physique. Au fil du temps... le cœur de Kino s'est complètement rompu. Un jour, son pouvoir s'est réveillé. C'est à ce moment qu'il a confirmé être le "fils" de Karlheinz. Puis, utilisant ses pouvoirs comme un bouclier, Kino força les goules à lui obéir. What I said before: “I suppose if some rural electors are disillusioned with the Nationals, perhaps unhappy with their declining significance and fading role in the Coalition, a minor party like this might be attractive to them as a protest vote.”

What I think this year: The Australian Federation Party emerged from the remnants of a Victorian party known as the Country Alliance, but it is now a quite different entity. As the Country Alliance, it almost snagged a seat in Victoria’s state upper house in 2010, and since then has worked its way through a bunch of different guises, regularly changing its name and absorbing other micro-parties or fringe independents (e.g. Tasmania 4 Tasmanians and the Victorian branch of Katter’s Australia Party). The last time I reviewed this party, they had taken a more militant right-wing slant into the 2018 Victorian state election, including the addition of the slogan “Give It Back!” to their registered name for some poorly articulated reason. They then did not contest the 2019 federal election and took on their current name in February 2020, cropping up since then at a few state/territorial elections and in July 2020 at the federal by-election in Eden-Monaro, where they flopped into 14th place (out of 14) with just 170 votes.

The Australian Federation Party—who abbreviate their name as AusFeds on their website—have drifted so far from their foundations that its website never mentions the old parties. Its candidates this year include some, uh, luminaries of the micro-party scene, such as their lead candidate for the Senate in Western Australia, notorious anti-vaxxer Judy Wilyman, who has jumped ship from the Involuntary Medication Objectors Party. The lead candidate for the Senate in Victoria is Vern Hughes, a serial party-hopper who seems to be standing for a different party every time I come across his name. There are also candidates who were too extreme even for Craig Kelly and Clive Palmer at the United Australia Party: they disendorsed pro-Putin acolyte Jefferson Earl, who is now AusFed candidate for the Division of Flinders (VIC), while the AusFed lead Senate candidate in SA is Cathy Byrne, an antivax nurse (that should be a contradiction in terms) who previously palled around with Craig Kelly and was meant to be second on the UAP ticket.

The Federation Party bills itself as not a new party but “a new kind of political party”. They are obsessed with a rose-tinted, nostalgic view of the past: they have a table that claims to show that up to 1975, Australia was some sort of utopia of community harmony and accessible politicians and that ever since it has been the exact opposite. They describe all their electoral rivals as “centralised, top-down traditional parties” while depicting the AusFeds as a “distributed, networked organisation”. They explicitly draw on Bitcoin to claim their party is organised around similar networked nodes and that policy development will be public with tracked edits: they literally say you should “think a blockchain for text documents” as if turning on tracked-changes is some revolutionary idea.

Their frequent allusions to IT principles sound an awful lot like your drunk uncle at the family barbecue trying to explain his new interest in blockchain and why it revolutionises everything despite having only a superficial grasp of the principles. The silly part here is that literally almost a decade ago, the Pirate Party had actual member-designed policies with edits publicly visible and did so with sounder knowledge of IT principles and policy development rather than this arrogant notion that the AusFeds are the first and only community-based party in the country. Likewise, the whole “our members will hold town halls and be accountable to their community” lark is just plagiarising what indies in the mould of Cathy McGowan have done for years.

So what are they, if they aren't the innovative new party they claim to be? The AusFeds are covid conspiracists, as you would expect when Judy Wilyman and Cathy Byrne are standing for them. Throughout their webpage are crackpot claims that at every turn minimise the severity and prevalence of covid. Their “about” page starts not with a general introduction or a description of their history but a rant about lockdowns. They claim to be an evidence-based party but this is of the "I dO mY oWn ReSeArCh" brainworms variety. To illustrate their policy that party members have a conscience vote on every issue but must back their vote with evidence, they give an example that a party member could not vote for lockdowns in a pandemic even if their constituents wanted lockdowns because there is (according to them) no possible way this could be evidence-based. They have deeply dangerous policies that would prohibit covid vaccines even being offered to people under 18 and pandemic policies that would leave Australia completely exposed to the worst effects of any pandemic now and in the future.

I won’t bother with their other policies, many of which are bullet points that say next to nothing, because you get the picture. This party is now a hotbed of fringe politics and anti-vax advocacy, and must be rejected.

My recommendation: Give the Australian Federation Party a weak or no preference—indeed, they should be one of the very last parties you number if you distribute preferences fully (which I encourage you to do, as it maximises the power of your vote).

No matter how much hell life puts them through, Koishi and the gang are strong willed against the odds. Let the light shine in the dark, let the voice of the dragon be heard!

The No one's rose pointed at everyone as she drowns in her memories of despair where Yukari and Koishi had such a tragic revelation ever since the death of their world at the hands of the lunarians as tears pour from her eyes as the black dragon roars in despair through the music expressing her love further.

Koishi begins to dwell into all the hard times in the family where there are incidents that resulted in almost getting herself killed a dozen times, yet through the hard times there are the good times when when she spend time with her family, assisting her wife and friends no matter what. No matter how much she struggles, at the end of the day she always emerge on top bringing her family peace. She opened her eyes in a flash coming back to reality once more unleashing the fury of the black dragon within with her final words of love.

The voice of the black dragon's voice echos through out the mansion as the audience being her entire friends and family cheered abd clapping their hands, roaring in triumph at the black dragon's voice of inspiration.

Yukari on the other hand is shedding tears of joy and happiness from the No One's Rose's way of showing how much she loved her wife and how much she supports her and everyone. Tonight as of now is the best night of her life, and Koishi couldn't be more happier. No matter what happens they'll akways support Koishi no matter what.

Cô giống như những bông hoa hồng trong khu vườn này, mong manh và cứng cỏi giữa mùa tàn phai.

Đôi mắt cậu chăm chú nhìn lên cao, cao hơn cả những ngọn gió, nơi tồn tại sự nối kết vô hình giữa trời và đất, nơi ánh sáng của trăng tan nhòa vào luồng trắng tỏa lên từ nền tuyết dưới mặt đất, nơi thật ra trống rỗng vô cùng để rồi có những suy nghĩ lạ lùng. Loài hoa trắng muốt, trong sáng và đơn thuần, cho đến khoảnh khắc cánh hoa rời khỏi đài sa xuống mặt đất lạnh vẫn không kề đổi màu. Sự tàn lụi của chúng giống như tan vỡ, tan vỡ thành muôn vạn hạt bụi cũng trắng xóa hòa lẫn với bông tuyết buốt giá. Mong manh đến mức cậu muốn bóp nát vụn…

Cô giống như những thứ đã kết tinh nên bông tuyết trên nền đất này, thuần khiết và phù du giữa cơn buốt nhói.

Nhắm mắt lại, cậu nghe những dòng chảy đây đó trong mạch đất ngầm. Chúng rồi cũng sẽ lại hóa thành những bụi tuyết nhỏ li ti trải khắp mặt đất góp vào bức tranh mùa Chết tẻ nhạt sắc màu trắng xóa. Nỗi nhức nhối vô hình tỏa ra từ trong xương chứ không phải từ dòng máu lạnh lẽo của một sinh vật bất tử như cậu. Màu trắng lóa ập đến, bủa vây lấy thị giác khi vừa mở mắt khiến cậu choáng váng ngay cả khi đang trong đêm. Sắc trắng nhức nhối đến khó chịu của tuyết lạnh cộng hưởng với những đợt sóng tràn ra từ trong xương cốt thốt nhiên khiến cậu run rẩy. Cơn run rẩy của sự tức giận. Thuần khiết đến mức cậu muốn vấy bẩn…

Cô giống như lớp lớp ánh sáng tỏa xuống từ vầng trăng trên vòm trời cao, đẹp đẽ và điêu linh giữa đêm sương sa.

Hít vào một ngụm không khí khô khốc, vị đắng ngắt của gió lạo xạo trong lồng ngực cậu. Nhói buốt. Tựa như ánh bạc của đêm trăng tròn hòa tan trong cơn gió, cứa vào lòng cậu từng nhát, từng nhát rất ngọt. Con dao bạc luôn mang theo bên mình thậm chí còn chưa từng khiến cậu đau đớn đến thế. Nó từng lạnh hơn cả thân nhiệt của một con quỷ hút máu là cậu, càng trở nên lạnh hơn khi đè nặng lên nó là một lời nguyền của cái chết. Nhưng nó đồng thời là chìa khóa giải thoát mọi sự đau khổ, cho cả cậu và một người khác. Không giống như ánh trăng huyền ảo đổ xuống trong đêm sương giá, chúng xuyên qua cậu, ghim chặt một lời nguyền không lối thoát, giam hãm cậu giữa những chấn song không lối thoát. Tuy nhiên lại đẹp đẽ đến nỗi mê hoặc. Đẹp đẽ đến mức luôn khiến cậu khao khát…

Và cô ấy đang ở Eden.(2)

Chỉ có thế thôi và cậu đã quyết định lao mình trở lại nơi mà suốt cả một thời gian dài trốn tránh, Quỷ giới.(3)

Trong đêm sương sa, kẻ tùy tùng phủ phục trước vị chủ nhân cao quý. Hắn cúi đầu rất thấp, ngay trước mặt cậu với một cuộc đối thoại không âm thanh. Vạn Quỷ Điện (4) bỏ trống, cậu chỉ cần có thế để khẳng định sự có mặt của cô gái ở Eden.

“Hắn ta dường như muốn cậu đến. Vì cô gái.”

Cậu vẫn còn nhớ đến luồng ánh sáng chuyển động trong mắt người anh trai khi anh ta nói câu đó bằng một sự bình tĩnh chỉ đối với cậu là khó hiểu. Anh ta hiểu rõ phản ứng ngay sau đó của cậu. Đó cũng là điều cậu ghét nhưng vẫn trở về, nhanh nhất có thể.

Tuy nhiên cậu lại chẳng có can đảm đến đối mặt với cô. Cậu sợ. Nỗi sợ đắng ngắt như cơn gió khắc nghiệt tiết trời đông tại Quỷ giới đã ập đến nhanh chóng và mạnh mẽ. Bởi vì cô là tất cả những gì cậu mong muốn, khao khát đồng thời e ngại, dè chừng. Vừa muốn bóp nát, vừa muốn vấy bẩn nhưng cũng sợ hãi để chạm đến. Cậu, với đôi tay trước nay chỉ quen sử dụng bạo lực, chẳng có hy vọng nào vào sự nâng niu, chỉ có thể giữ lại cho mình những gì vỡ nát. Chẳng biết từ bao giờ…

Yêu thương đủ để căm ghét, căm ghét cô và chính bản thân mình, như cái cách cậu đã làm trong suốt quãng thời gian từ khi có nhận thức. Nỗi ám ảnh từ ngày thơ bé của một đứa trẻ cận huyết, mớ hỗn độn ký ức đó ùa đến trong hình hài khủng khiếp của những cơn ác mộng đủ khiến cậu phải run rẩy.

~Đứa trẻ đáng kinh tởm! Cút khỏi đây ngày! Ta không muốn thấy ngươi! Không bao giờ! Nii-sama(5), nii-sama, người ở đâu? Người ở đâu rồi?~

Người phụ nữ vừa gào lên trong hoảng loạn vừa xô mạnh đứa trẻ ra xa. Nàng ngồi bệt xuống sàn gỗ, hai tay không ngừng cào cấu lên mái tóc dài khiến chúng rối tung. Vài sợi tóc trắng như tuyết rơi xuống vung vãi cùng với mảnh dây buộc tóc mà chỉ khoảnh khắc trước nàng còn nâng niu. Đứa bé con có mái tóc trắng tuyệt đẹp giống hệt nàng đứng chết trân ở chỗ mà người mẹ đã đẩy nó đến, chịu đựng trong sự câm lặng những cơn điên thất thường của đấng sinh thành. Bàn tay với những ngón thon dài mảnh dẻ đầy dịu dàng của nàng trước đó đã ôm ghì lấy đứa trẻ mà vuốt ve giờ đột ngột nhào đến cào cấu như thể muốn phá hủy luôn tạo vật xinh đẹp chính nàng đã tạo ra cùng với Nii-sama, một đứa trẻ cận huyết. Đứa bé giống người đó và cả nàng một cách nhức nhối, nó giống như một nỗi tủi hờn, uất ức chẳng thể gọi tên trong cõi lòng nàng. Ngày mà nàng sinh ra nó, Nii-sama đã bỏ lại nàng giữa tòa tháp cao bao quanh bởi vườn hồng trắng và nàng chợt nhận ra mình bị lợi dụng. Thế nhưng nàng không ngừng lại được tình yêu đau đớn trong mình. Nàng yêu Nii-sama bằng tất cả sinh mạng chỉ bởi người đó nói rằng nàng xinh đẹp và thánh thiện như đóa hồng trắng người tặng cho nàng vào ngày sinh nhật. Mỗi ngày nàng yêu thương đủ để căm ghét chính đứa con trai luôn luôn đến thăm mình nơi căn phòng nàng bị giam lỏng. Từ một công chúa dòng thuần đến một người đàn bà điên loạn phải để bọn gia nhân suốt ngày để mắt trông chừng cách nhau bao xa? Chỉ có đứa con trai mang trong mình dòng máu thuần hoàn hảo nhất của nàng biết, nó biết với sự câm lặng, chịu đựng, nhẫn nhịn và sợ hãi. Subaru của nàng là đứa trẻ ngoan, nàng biết rõ điều đó chừng nào thì lại càng căm hận nó chừng đó. Yêu thương đủ để ghét bỏ, yêu thương đủ để kinh tởm, yêu thương đủ để sẵn sàng cầu xin đứa con trai một ân huệ lớn nhất cuộc đời của một ma cà rồng, cái chết. Nàng yêu Nii-sama nhưng nàng chưa từng nghĩ sẽ để sinh mệnh của mình trên tay người ấy, bất kể mâu thuẫn, nàng vẫn luôn khát khao tình cảm của Nii-sama và cả cái chết trong tay con trai mình. Bởi thế nàng chưa từng biết, Subaru của nàng đã sống những ngày tháng như thế nào trong tội nghiệt dằn vặt cả nàng lẫn đứa trẻ. Nàng không biết Subaru đã luôn nghĩ mình là nguyên nhân của tất cả đến nỗi tự căm ghét bản thân như nàng đã căm ghét nó trong cơn điên loạn mất kiểm soát. Thằng bé vỡ nát ngay từ khi còn rất nhỏ để rồi cũng mang trong mình cơn giận ngấm ngầm thường xuyên trút lên bất kỳ thứ gì xung quanh, trừ nàng. Thằng bé mất đi hy vọng bởi những thương tổn nàng tạo ra để rồi tự tổn thương mình trong bóng tối góc khuất của bản ngã. Thằng bé giống nàng, tin tưởng mình giống nàng, để suy nghĩ bản thân ô uế vấy bẩn thành nỗi ám ảnh thường trực trong từng cơn ác mộng mỗi đêm. Chúng bủa vậy thằng bé trong không gian chật hẹp của cỗ quan tài, giam hãm thằng bé mỗi lần giấc ngủ trốn tránh thế giới ở bên trong. Subaru của nàng loay hoay trong cái vực thẳm tăm tối mà nàng tạo ra. Nàng đã không biết. Thằng bé cũng không cho nàng hay biết…

Bóng tối nuốt chửng Subaru của nàng. Thằng bé cũng không vùng vẫy. Cho đến khi…

“Subaru-kun! Cậu bị thương rồi! Chờ chút tôi sẽ giúp cậu băng bó!”

Giọng người con gái khẩn trương pha lẫn chút sợ hãi, run rẩy đồng thời xa xăm như thể từ miền vô định vọng lại.

Cậu bừng tỉnh khỏi ký ức. Chúng đang rạn nứt theo từng đường rãnh vô hình nhưng bóng tối vẫn còn đó. Bóng tối thăm thẳm bủa vây lấy cậu không dứt, đè nặng lên cậu cái u ám của ám ảnh, day dứt và tội lỗi. Bằng cách nào đó, cậu đã hiểu được tình yêu của người mẹ. Tình yêu đau đớn đến nỗi muốn phá hủy, đến nỗi muốn vấy bẩn, đến nỗi luôn khao khát nhưng lại luôn sợ hãi cùng cực để chạm vào.

Yêu thương đủ để căm ghét. Đó là tình thương câm lặng, khó khăn đến nhường nào?

Bóng xám quen thuộc của tòa tháp phủ trùm lên Subaru, cậu đứng yên, mân mê chiếc chìa khóa luôn mang theo người từ ngày còn nhỏ. Nhưng rồi cũng quả quyết tiến về phía trước.

Những gia linh đã quen thuộc với sự xuất hiện âm thầm của vị thiếu gia, bây giờ đã trở thành chủ nhân gia tộc, chúng cúi rạp người cung kính trước cậu khi cậu bước qua ngưỡng cửa. Không nhìn lại đến một lần, cậu bước nhanh lên tầng gác cao nhất của tòa tháp. Ổ khóa xoay mở tạo ra một tiếng động khô khốc đủ để đánh động đến người phụ nữ ngồi ngẩn ngơ bên khung cửa sổ gỗ mun đen bóng. Nàng giật mình quay người lại. Đôi mắt màu ngọc lựu xinh đẹp sáng lên rực rỡ bất chấp sự u ám của căn phòng.

“Nii-sama, Nii-sama, người đến rồi sao?”

Dáng người dong dỏng cao của cậu trai bất động ngay ngưỡng cửa trong khoảnh khắc khi nghe thấy câu nói của người mẹ. Người phụ nữ nhào đến, ôm siết lấy cậu. Cái ôm nụng nịu tìm kiếm yêu thương từ người yêu hơn là từ một người mẹ dành cho con trai. Subaru lặng yên trong vòng tay mẹ, để mặc người càng ngày càng siết chặt vòng ôm. Cậu mở miệng, giọng rất nhẹ, tựa như hơi thở trượt qua vành môi.

“Mẹ…”

Vòng tay nàng cứng lại, chậm rãi ngẩng lên nhìn khuôn mặt đứa con trai bằng đôi mắt trừng lớn. Người ấy từng có đôi mắt giống thế, nỗi buồn man mác của kẻ cô độc trên đỉnh cao quyền lực. Chúng mê hoặc nàng từng giây từng phút, thậm chí là cả cuộc đời. Cái nhìn mê đắm của nàng dõi theo Nii-sama đã bao lâu? Nàng không biết, cũng không nhớ nổi.

“Ông ta…chết rồi! Karl Heinz chết rồi!”

Cuối cùng Subaru cũng thốt ra được điều chặn cổ họng cậu từ lần gặp mẹ trước đó. Cơn nhẹ nhõm như thể trút được một nửa gánh nặng đè trên vai kể từ khoảnh khắc ông già mất đi không dễ chịu như cậu nghĩ. Thế giới vỡ vụn trong đôi mắt người mẹ. Người khụy xuống sàn, không còn chút sức lực nào trên hai chân nữa. Những ngón tay mảnh dẻ, yếu ớt của người bấu víu lấy cánh tay cậu khiến Subaru có cảm giác chỉ cần chúng rời ra thôi mẹ cậu sẽ bị nhấn chìm trong cơn đau khổ quá sức chịu đựng của người. Cậu quỳ gối xuống bên cạnh, bàn tay vụng về vuốt lên mái tóc trắng như tuyết của mẹ. Người run rẩy và yên lặng, khác xa với những gì cậu đoán trước. Và điều đó khiến cậu hoang mang.

Người phụ nữ đột nhiên dùng hết sức lực túm lấy cánh tay đứa con trai, bắt nó nhìn thẳng vào mình. Nàng nhận ra trong mạch máu của nó cuồn cuộn chảy nguồn sức mạnh của người nàng yêu hết cả cuộc đời. Giọng nàng run rẩy.

“Nii… Phụ thân chọn con làm người thừa kế?”

Thằng bé ngoan ngoãn gật đầu. Bỗng nhiên tất cả cảm xúc dồn nén trong cõi lòng nàng vỡ òa thành nước mắt. Chúng thi nhau thổn thức rơi xuống, thấm ướt vai áo Subaru của nàng. Không biết bao nhiêu thời gian đã trôi qua, Subaru cứ quỳ ở đó. Vai áo cậu ướt rồi khô lại,mẹ cậu cũng mê man đi. Giờ đây người yên lặng trong vòng tay cậu, lần đầu tiên ngủ thiếp đi khi ở bên cậu. Những vết nứt vô hình trên bức tranh ký ức mang hình hài cơn ác mộng ám ảnh lan rộng một cách lặng lẽ và rồi vỡ toang. Đã đến lúc cậu gom đủ can đảm để đối mặt với người con gái ở Eden.

Sau yêu thương đủ để căm ghét là điều gì? Là buông tay.

Chạy dọc hành lang dài hun hút trong tòa lâu đài đồ sộ giờ đây thuộc quyền sở hữu của mình, Subaru không để phí một giây phút nào để tìm kiếm cô gái vốn là lý do cậu đặt chân đến Eden. Và cậu chợt nhớ ra, nếu như là Eden thì chỉ có một nơi mà những tùy tùng của Cha cậu để lại nơi đây có thể giam hãm người con gái ấy.

“…Này! Này! Cô có ở trong đó không!”

Cậu chẳng mất bao nhiêu thời gian để phá cánh cửa, xông thẳng vào trong.

“Haa… Cuối cùng cũng tìm thấy cô rồi! Nào, đi thôi!”

Cô gái mở lớn đôi mắt hồng nhạt nhìn cậu đầy ngạc nhiên.

“Subaru-kun! Sao cậu lại ở đây?”

“Reiji và Ruki đã lại cố gắng làm những điều không cần thiết. Tôi chỉ tình cờ tới để kiểm tra thôi. Và quả nhiên chuyện phiền phức đã xảy ra… Xin lỗi…”

Cậu cúi đầu, giọng gằn xuống thấp che giấu thứ thực sự đã dâng lên đến cổ họng là nỗi khao khát được ôm cô vào lòng.

“Nếu như tôi thực sự nghiêm túc thì họ đã không cần phải nhúng tay vào. Nhưng không phải vì thế mà tôi sẽ để người khác phải lo lắng vì việc của chính bản thân mình. Bất kể có cô bên cạnh hay không, tôi không quan tâm. Tôi không phải kẻ vô dụng đến mức ấy…”

Sau cùng cậu vẫn không kìm được một câu bào chữa yếu ớt.

“Hơn thế, tôi cũng không thể hạ thấp bản thân đến mức ép buộc một người phụ nữ đã hoàn toàn thuộc về thằng đàn ông khác…”

“…? Subaru-kun?”

“…Không có gì cả.”

Cô gái mỉm cười, nụ cười cậu đã luôn mong đợi để xoa dịu trong sự dịu dàng của nó. Và cả cách thế giới luôn giữ màu sắc tươi sáng trong đôi mắt mở lớn khiến cậu xao động của cô.

“Tôi tin nếu là Subaru-kun thì mọi chuyện rồi sẽ ổn thôi.”

“…”

Cô chưa từng thay đổi. Tất cả sự trong sáng, tốt đẹp và dịu dàng đó vẫn luôn hiện hữu trong từng khoảnh khắc. Người thay đổi có lẽ chỉ là cậu thôi. Chỉ mình cậu để cho cô làm xao động bóng tối bủa vậy quanh mình, đem lại hy vọng rồi lại khiến cậu tuyệt vọng. Nhưng yêu là để căm ghét rồi vượt qua chúng thành tình thương day dứt vĩnh viễn, phải không?

“Nếu là Subaru-kun thì cậu có thể đưa Eden trở lại xinh đẹp như xưa. Đó là điều mà tôi tin.”

“Dựa vào cái gì mà cô nói thế?”

“Cho dù chỉ là một thời gian ngắn ngủi thôi chúng ta sống cùng nhau, tôi dù chỉ biết chút ít về con người Subaru-kun…”

“Vậy à?”

Đã bao lâu từ ngày chúng ta sống chung dưới một mái nhà, Subaru tự hỏi, và đã bao lâu cô trở nên đặc biệt đến nỗi chi phối tất cả hành động của cậu như vậy? Cậu cũng không biết và cũng sẽ không cố tìm câu trả lời. Bởi vì cậu đã có quyết định cho riêng mình.

“Thế giờ cô định như thế nào?”

Cô gái ngẩng nhìn lên cậu, giật mình trong một thoáng rồi mới đáp lời.

“Tôi…tôi muốn quay lại Vạn Quỷ Điện. Nhưng một mình tôi không thể… Cho nên là làm ơn đi, Subaru-kun. Cậu có thể giúp tôi không?”

Do cậu tưởng tượng hay sự thật trong đôi mắt cô ngấn lệ? Cậu ngập ngừng trong cổ họng.

“Tôi không thể đi…”

Thế giới cũng gần như vỡ vụn trong đôi mắt người con gái trước mắt cậu. Giống như mẹ cậu. Điều ấy khiến cậu có dũng khí nói nốt câu tiếp, hoàn thành trọn vẹn dự định trước khi đến Eden.

“Nhưng tôi có thể sai gia linh đưa cô đi.”

“…Cảm ơn cậu, thật sự cảm ơn cậu, Subaru-kun.”

Nhìn nụ cười trở lại trên gương mặt bừng sáng lên của cô, bất giác cậu cũng mỉm cười.

“Em thật sự không hiểu chuyện gì cả…”

Bình minh lên khi tuyết vẫn rơi. Hương thơm tinh sạch và buốt lạnh của chúng lấp đầy khứu giác Subaru. Cậu đứng trước cỗ xe ngựa cùng vài gia linh đang chuẩn bị nốt những công đoạn cuối cùng cho chuyến đi một cách cẩn thận hết mực. Bên cạnh cậu, cô gái ấy dường như nôn nóng đến mức chỉ muốn khởi hành ngay lập tức. Cậu thở dài mở cái bọc vải vẫn cầm trong tay lấy ra một chiếc áo choàng lông trắng muốt, quay lại cẩn thận quàng qua vai cô. Lớp vải nhung dày buông xuống vừa chạm nền tuyết, che kín thân hình bé nhỏ. Cô ngước lên nhìn cậu, trong mắt đầy vẻ ngạc nhiên. Chỉ một khoảnh khắc không còn kiếm chế nổi, cậu cúi xuống ôm trọn cô vào lòng. Vùi mặt vào lớp lông mịn của mũ áo choàng, cậu hít sâu một hơi mùi hương ngọt ngào của cô lần cuối trong khi thì thầm.

“Đi cẩn thận.”

Buông cô ra cũng đột ngột như lúc bắt đầu, cậu lập tức quay người, ra lệnh cho đám gia linh hộ tống cô lên đường. Bóng lưng đứng thẳng trong cơn tuyết đổ không hề ngoái lại lấy một lần kể cả khi giọng cô vang lên phía sau khi chiếc xe chuyển bánh.

“Cảm ơn cậu, Subaru-kun!”

Thật may mắn cô đã không nói câu tạm biệt. Cũng thật may cô đã đi đủ xa để không nhìn thấy bờ vai của Subaru run rẩy trong tuyết lạnh.

Yêu thương rồi có thể trở nên thầm lặng như thế…

LA JETEE.

Au bout de la jetée, se dessine une silhouette. Elle se tient droite, immobile fixant la mer de nébuleuse placée juste devant elle. Je suis si loin, si loin d'elle. Alors je me décide à avancer, je traverse ce ponton gigantesque tout en fixant ce qui semble être le dos d'un l'inconnu. L'instant ou j'arriverais enfin à l'atteindrais me semble infini. Alors, je me mets à courir. Je tends le bras en espérant pouvoir la toucher plus vite. Cette sensation d'urgence, cette quête sans fin et ininterrompue de la recherche bonheur m’obsède. Je la sens monter en moi. Elle fait des nœuds dans mes entrailles. Il me faut de l'amour, toujours et plus encore. J'ai ce besoin viscérale de me sentir aimer. Plus que quiconque en ce monde. Plus que quiconque dans cet univers. Alors que je cours aussi vite qu'il m'est possible. Je sens l'air jouer dans mes cheveux, il vient à mes oreilles murmurer mon nom. Sa voix douce et lumineuse m’enchante et m'apaise. Comme si, au bout de la jetée, je trouverais enfin les réponses à toutes mes interrogations. Comme si au bout de la jetée, j'aurais enfin retrouvé celle que j'ai égarée. Autour de moi il n'y a que le néant et l'obscurité, mais ce lieu, au demeurant terrifiant, ne me fait plus peur, car, au-devant je vois la nébuleuse, la galaxie et ses merveilles. Quelques mètres me séparent de l'inconnu. Je continue à courir jusqu'à en perdre haleine. Mes jambes sont douloureuses, mais je ne cède pas et j'avance, le couloir obscur s’éclaircit doucement. Encore quelques pas, quelques enjambées précipitées. Me voilà arrivée. Ma course folle s'arrête ici. À bout de souffle, je lève le bras avec prudence et dépose ma main sur l'épaule masculine qui se trouve face à l’univers. Il est de taille moyenne, un dos fort et de larges épaules qui pourraient à elles seules soutenir tous les maux du monde. Je le vois pivoter vers moi et il me fait un magnifique sourire. Ses lèvres sont pleines et rosées. Ses yeux gris bleu en amandes sont rieurs et pétillants. Sa peau est baignée de lumière et son éclat de rire est cristallin. Sa chevelure grise ondule au grès de la brise. Il semble irréel. C'est si déroutant. Avec un naturel désarmant, il me demande de venir près de lui pour admirer la mer de beauté qui s'étend devant nous. Je m'installe à ses côtés et nous nous asseyons au bord de la jetée. Nos pieds nus flirtent avec la surface de l'eau, créent de petits cercles qui s'élargissent au fur et à mesure qu'ils s'éloignent. Le spectacle qui se déroule devant mes yeux est à couper le souffle. Je n'avais jamais vu de telles merveilles auparavant. Je suis soufflée, muette, sous le charme du lieu. La voûte céleste se reflète dans la mer d'un bleu profond. Le ciel au-dessus de nos têtes recèle de surprises bien plus incroyables encore. L'être irréel me dit de lever le visage vers le ciel. Je m'exécute. Au-dessus de moi, des nuances de roses, de mauve, des teintes bleutées, quelques nuances argentée. Les milliards d'étoiles qui se reflétaient dans l'eau sont aussi présentes, agrippées aux nuages et au ciel. Je vois cet incroyable ballet plein de poésie et de douceur s'animer doucement sous mon regard. On dirait que toute la force, la splendeur et l'essence du monde étaient cachés ici. Je me laisse tomber en arrière tout comme le compagnon de rêve, incapable de détacher mes yeux de cette galaxie féerique. Ici, au creux de cet écrin de pureté, je me sens bien. Je me sens chez moi. Je me sens aimée, entourée par cette phénoménale immensité. Je sens la chaleur de la main de cet être qui enlace doucement la mienne. Je ne l'a lâche pas comme si j'avais peur que soudainement tout s'arrête. Peur que tout s'efface. Quelques météores font la course dans les cieux, certaines s'entrechoquent pour créer de merveilleux feux d’artifices au-dessus de nos têtes. On peut voir des étoiles s'éteindre alors que d'autres naissent. C'est prodigieux. Je reste là, sans bouger, détendue. J'ai le sentiment d'avoir trouvé ce que je cherchais. Un refuge, mon refuge. - Tu sais, parfois le monde autour est froid, hostile, effrayant. Mais il y a toujours un lieu secret, un lieu magique. Si tu passes la porte, tu y trouveras de quoi te sentir mieux. Tu pourras y rêver, t'y consoler. Tu t'y sentiras aimé alors surtout n'hésites plus jamais. Quand tu sentiras ton cœur se serrer, quand les jours de pluies seront difficiles à supporter ou que la vie aura un arrière-goût amer, saisis ma main et retrouves moi dans ce petit coin de paradis. Dans cet abysse de douceur. Je serais là, toujours là pour toi. Un sourire à peine perceptible illumina son visage durant un court instant. Soulagée, je me décidai enfin à fermer les yeux me laisser bercer par la brise, le parfum sucré flottant dans l'air et le murmure de sa voix. Serait-ce la fin de ma quête ? Aurais-je enfin trouvé les réponses à mes interrogations ? Dans ce lieu si particulier, semblable à un Eden. Pourrais-je trouver la paix et le repos qui me manquent tant ? Je sens l'euphorie, la frénésie qui se logent progressivement au creux de mon ventre. Je sens l'amour qui déborde de mon cœur pour aller s'écouler doucement dans la mer qui se teinte d'un rose pâle scintillant. Un voile de joie se place devant mes yeux. Je me sens m'élever, je me sens voler, il n'y a rien de plus exaltant que ce sentiment de plénitude qui s'est emparé de moi. Je ne quitterais plus cet endroit. Je resterais là.
