Verity had just taken a seat on the couch in Eddie's apartment, grabbing the remote to turn on the TV after she had placed down the plate of food she'd just prepared for herself. Since moving in to live with her colleague, who just so happened to be the greatest chef she knew, the cooking lessons he'd been given her before she moved away had increased. It was kind of a given seeing they both had to eat and if their shifts aligned, it just made sense to make something together. It had been a lot of fun, at times maybe even too fun. Not that she was going to read into things by the maybe light flirting that had occurred every now and again, at least on her end. When she heard the door to his room open, she grinned as she stood up and picked her plate up from the table, "Look what I did!" She chimed proudly, "I know it is just a simple pasta salad--" She began to elaborate, "But, the pasta itself is perfectly cooked and I did it all by myself with a whole lot of butter." @eddiexcastro

“Eddie, you’ve outdone yourself tonight! Seriously, this is incredible. The flavors are on point. I’m going to need your secret recipe for that chimichurri sauce.” Gavin loves these moments—bringing everyone together, enjoying great food, and building camaraderie outside of the office. He held a quarterly family and friends dinner with his team and the polling brought them to Cedar. The success he has today would be untouchable without them. Spotting the chef, Gavin couldn't help but compliment them for their work. "Can I borrow your skills for my brother-in-law's 40th?"

Amerie shook her head when not her second, but third plate of her speciality was returned to the kitchen. Growling a little under her breath as she stomped over to the stove, stirring the sauce a little, before giving it a taste. It tasted perfectly fine to her, just like it always did! She didn't understand why people were complaining that it was too salty. "Hey, Eddie--" Amerie called out when she spotted the male nearby. "Could you come over here please?"

Isabella was dressed in her halloween costume of Britney Spears in her Hit Me Baby One More Time outfit. She was out to the bar with her brother and she was looking at her phone while she waited for the bartender to pay attention to them. She was read to get out there and mingle with some more people because she needed to make some more friends and not worry about being such a stickler. She looked over at her brother, Eddie and shot him a smile before then clearing her throat and the bartender came over. "I'm going to get a scotch on the rocks and whatever this one would like." She nudged Eddie and waited.

Verity was glad that Eddie still seemed to want to be spending some time with her, despite how she had hovered over him the last few weeks to make sure he was taking his medication. She had some time before her shift started, and took the opportunity to walk around the festival. It was her favorite season after all. "Oh look!" She said, pointing at one of those old fashioned VW caravans. "Can you imagine driving down the coast in one of those?"

Diego was glad to hear that his cousin was doing better and getting back to work. Diego only had a few days before he started back to school. He did miss teaching, but having a couple months off was nice. He was able to have more time to relax and spend time with Dev. But mostly, he had been fixing up his house and was excited. He was getting there, almost done with it. He needed to paint and do flooring, and last, he would do Dev's room before he moved in fully.
So he was counting down the days of fixing up his home. But he had to check on Eddie again. He had visited him in the hospital and once when Eddie got home and now just because really. He had stopped in and got some BBQ and thought of having lunch with Eddie. He arrived at the door and knocked. "Come on, Eddie, stop being an old man. Open up!" he called out as he knocked on the door. @eddiexcastro

"Thanks for the invite over," Dana said, slipping out of her shoes and making her way to place the take out on the counter. "I know I have my own space at Julian's property," she shook her head, "but sometimes it still feels like an intrusion. It's been a while since he's had a serious girlfriend and the more serious he gets with Haven, the more I feel in the way." Though she knew that was merely anxiety talking and not reality. "It's been way too long since we've seen each other, anyway," she smiled at him, "How have things been with you?"

Fatma stood on the shoreline, watching at the horizon where the water was glittering with the sun's reflection. The waves were lapping around her ankles, and had been for a while as she had stood in place for at least ten minutes. She was taking a moment to reflect in the silence, having found herself in a quiet spot on the beach while everyone had already gone home with the sun due to fully set. It wasn't until she saw someone coming out of the water with his surfboard that she moved her head, watching him as he exchanged water for land. "Were the waves good today?" @eddiexcastro

"So, I have to ask.." Chantel paused, lifting the menu from CEDAR GRILL & LOUNGE and giving it a look over before she looked up, offering a smile to the person sitting closest to her. "Is the beer battered fish made with in house beer or is it the generic kind you find from the store?" she questioned. Little did Chantel know at the moment that she was talking to the chef of the restaurant. "I'm not picky, I'm just curious. I love the more local thing; locally grown vegetables, locally brewed beers, etc. and anyway that I can support a smaller business I'm down for, but it sounds so good that I honestly think I'm going to get it either way."

When Bea moved back to Kismet Harbor just over a week ago, the last thing she expected to be doing was getting on dating apps. However, in the midst of unpacking her apartment on her lunch breaks for work, Beat found herself on a dating app. In which led to a dinner date with a guy named Eddie. She remembered him, briefly from growing up in Kismet but he was about two years older than she was. She arrived first, grabbing a drink at the bar as she waited after telling the hostess that she was waiting for someone else. Sporting a little black dress and sleek hair for the evening, Bea turned around to look for her date. As she did, she spotted him approaching, "Eddie, right?"

Nolan had spent time shopping at a few of the booths, then got himself food to eat. But he wanted to take a break so he laid back on one of the branches and got into looking at his phone, so much so that time had passed and birds had gotten into his food and he didn't even notice. He just was into watching videos and answering texts and with a head phone in and so much going on around him he didn't hear a thing. @eddiexcastro

Mateo handed off an apple cider to Eddie as he approached the other. "Sorry for the wait, line was long as hell," he shook his head before taking a sip of the cider. "I should have set up a spot for the bar outside," the weather was nice enough that he could have done so, even under an awning if it decided to spritz them with some rain. "You gettin' back to work?" Mateo questioned the other with a raise of a brow.

"I'm glad we were able to get in a round of basketball," the high school gym opening up in the winter for recreational sports teams and pick up games to occur allowed Eli to continue to stay active. "Drinks and dinner on me," he offered to Eddie as he pulled open the door to let them into the bar and grill, "I've got nowhere to be, Isla's ditching me for some girlfriends tonight."
