For the kiss ask game, eddietommy 46?
okay this is very different from my usual wheelhouse, including my usual eddietommy. but EYE love it. hurt/no comfort. not Buck bashing exactly (I would never) but emotions are high and he’s not there to defend himself. unreliable narrator in full effect. be forewarned 46. … out of envy or jealousy
Tommy was moping. Eddie hated Tommy moping. They were allegedly watching the Clippers game (Tommy’s team, because Tommy loved an underdog), but Tommy’s gaze had barely strayed from his phone, which was face up on the coffee table, for the entire night.
“He’s not going to text you,” Eddie said bitterly.
Tommy gaped at him incredulously, which was fair, probably. They hadn’t exactly talked about Buck and Tommy’s break up. There was a lot they hadn’t talked about.
“He’s not going to text you,” Eddie repeated. The words felt like they were coming out of some jagged, ugly gash deep inside of him. “He baked for a week and then he was over it. You dumped him and he’s out on a date tonight and you’re holed up here pining over him and ignoring me.”
Tommy shook his head like he was trying to clear away fuzz. “Eddie, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to make you feel like—”
“You didn’t mean to make me feel a lot of things,” Eddie said, dripping with uncharitability. “Why him?”
“Why—what—why Evan?” Tommy asked.
“Why him?” To his horror, Eddie could feel tears welling up. “I thought we clicked. The night of that basketball game? Why did you kiss him?”
Tommy was quiet. Eddie couldn’t bring himself to look at him.
“Why didn’t you kiss me?” Eddie whispered. He felt a warm, broad hand on his knee. Tommy, reaching out. It wasn’t very comforting.
“Eddie, I can’t—I don’t—” Tommy sounded like he was on the verge of tears too.
“I know,” Eddie said. “I know he’s your first choice. Even though you gave him up. Even if he doesn’t want you anymore. Even if I’m right here.” He crowded up against Tommy, meeting no resistance. The last words were breathed against Tommy’s lips.
Eddie wanted to kiss him. Eddie had always wanted to kiss him. So he did. Tommy didn’t push him off. Not even when the kiss ended.
It was short. It was wet, because they were both crying. It wasn’t very good. It was Eddie’s first kiss with a man.
“I think you should go, Eddie.” Tommy sounded wrecked.
“I know,” Eddie said. He didn’t move.
On the TV, the Clippers missed a basket.
Send me a ship and a kiss!

Eddietommy + 👀👀👀
Sexual content. Implied possible / future buddietommy
"Remember?" Tommy asks with a smirk.
Eddie stares at Tommy's big hand wrapped around his cock and stroking just right, his mouth dry. He just nods. Breathless and stunned.
How could he ever forget?
It's been years ago. The desert night was freezing. Tommy's lips were a hot contrast to the cold, burning Eddie as he whispered, "I'm straight" and Tommy whispered back, "Sure you are," fingers wrapping around Eddie's erection.
Just a few weeks later, the helicopter got shot down and they got separated in the aftermath since Tommy's injuries needed special care.
Eddie didn't think they would meet again. Yet, here they are, in a bed in Las Vegas.
It had been surreal to realize that Chimney's Tommy is Eddie's Tommy. To see him standing beside the chopper, in his blue flight suit. Older. Bulkier. Even more handsome. However that's possible.
"Wait, you two know each other?" Buck had said, looking between them in confusion.
Buck. Buck who shook Tommy's hand for a very long time. Staring into his blue eyes. Eddie can't even name the emotion that's rushing through him. Buck ...
"Did you tell him?" Tommy asks, his hand stilling on Eddie's cock.
"Not yet," Eddie grits out, his hips pushing up, seeking friction. But Tommy holds him down.
"You know you'll have to. Eventually."
"I know," Eddie mutters, exhaling shakily. "Tommy. Please."
Tommy chuckles. He slides down Eddie's body, fitting between his legs. Eddie groans, throwing his head back when Tommy takes him in his mouth. "Fuck."
Yeah. He's so not straight.
Fuck.
Thanks for asking! <3

"Don't do this." + eddietommy
"Don't do this," Eddie begs, cradling Tommy's face in his hands. "Please, Tommy, don't leave me, not like this!"
Foam collects at the corner of Tommy's mouth, tinged red, as he takes in a deep, rattling breath. A fresh wave of blood flows from the gunshot wound in his abdomen, and Eddie fumbles for another gauze pack, pressing it to the wound in a fruitless attempt to stem the bleeding. He knows it won't help, though. This far from a med tent, that wound is a death sentence.
Tommy lifts a trembling hand to Eddie's face, his fingertips tracing his cheekbones. Eddie can feel the sticky residue of Tommy's blood, claiming him in a macabre way.
"Get... safety..." Tommy wheezes. His breaths sound wet and rattly, and though there's no obvious wound to the chest, Eddie wonders if a pieces of shrapnel somehow broke off and ricocheted upwards, piercing a lung.
"Not without you," Eddie replies stubbornly. He does a quick recce of their surroundings - the jungle is thick, enemies hidden god knows where amongst the foliage. There will be traps, ambushes too, but somewhere out there is their platoon, and the chance to get Tommy the help he needs. If he keeps his head down and runs...
Tommy must catch the resolute gleam in Eddie's eyes as he turns to grab his backpack, because he shoots out a hand to grab Eddie's wrist. He pushes himself onto an elbow, his face white as chalk as his eyes bore imploringly into Eddie's.
"Baby... please."
Eddie swipes furiously at the tears that burn behind his eyes, his throat tight.
"I am not leaving without you."
It's like asking him to cut off a limb or sever an artery. To leave Tommy behind is to leave behind a piece of himself, a segment of his heart forever trapped in this godforsaken jungle. He can't. He won't.
With shaking hands, Eddie cuts a hole in Tommy's uniform around the bullet's entrance, and packs the wound with gauze as best he can. He kisses Tommy's sweat-soaked hair and murmurs words of reassurance as Tommy screams, the pain overwhelming. A final bandage goes around Tommy's middle, securing a large swab to keep everything in place.
"Come on," he grunts, hitching Tommy's arm over his shoulder and hauling him up off the ground. Tommy leans heavily against him a hitched sob escaping his lips. His breathing seems clearer upright, lighting a tiny spark of hope deep inside Eddie's chest.
"I've got you." Eddie takes a tentative step forward, and another, easing Tommy through the undergrowth. "Let's get out of here."

Thinking things. Specifically Buddietommy things. Even more specifically, the Eddietommy of it all. We know they're similar, they got on like a house on fire in 7x04, Eddie's mentioned his time in the army, they've got similar interests etc etc.
I was thinking specifically about the anniversary of Eddie's convoy going down, and him not being alone while mourning them for the first time. Tommy comes home from a shift to find Buck alone on the couch. It's unusual because Eddie and Buck usually wait together for Tommy to come home, normally cuddled up on the couch with at least one of them asleep. After he's put his gear away, Tommy goes into the lounge and gives Buck a kiss before asking where Eddie is. Buck explains that he's in their room, having said he needs some space. Tommy instantly remembers what day it is, and tells Buck that he's going to go check on Eddie.
Tommy and Eddie show their love for one another in a very different way to how they show their love for Buck. Buck is very tactile and loves words of affirmation, whereas Tommy and Eddie prefer to show their love through acts of service and quality time with one another, such as sparring, fixing the car, and making each other coffee in the mornings. Tommy’s also the only other person who understands what it’s like for Eddie on days like today. Sure, Buck is very understanding and tries to make it as painless for Eddie as possible, giving him lots of hugs if he wants, or space if that’s what he prefers. But only Tommy knows what it’s like to lose his brothers and sisters in combat. Only Tommy knows what it’s like to do everything you can to save their life, and still not have it be enough. That might be why Tommy feels he’ll have better luck talking to Eddie than Buck might.
He finds Eddie standing near the closet, with a small box clutched tightly in his hand. Tommy recognises it immediately from when Eddie showed him, and it makes sense for Eddie to be looking at his Silver Star on a day like today. Tommy wants to hug him, but he also doesn’t want to give the guy a fright.
“Sweetheart?”
When Eddie looks up, Tommy sees that his eyes are red rimmed and swimming with unspilt tears. His jaw ticks as he rhythmically clenches and unclenches it, trying to contain his emotions. Tommy slowly walks towards him, his arms extended for a hug, but with enough time for Eddie to say he doesn’t want it. Instead, though, Eddie collapses into him and clings onto his shirt as he cries and cries and cries. Tommy holds him through it, not caring that his shift is becoming a snotty mess. When Eddie’s crying slows into little hiccups, Tommy leads him to the edge of the bed, where he tells him to sit and wait for him.
Tommy goes into the kitchen to get Eddie a glass of water. On his way back, he finds Buck and tells him how Eddie’s doing. Buck is obviously concerned, but Tommy kisses him and strokes his hair and promises that they’re all okay. When Tommy goes back into their room, he finds Eddie sitting on the bed where he left him. The Silver Star has been packed up and the box is sitting beside Eddie on the bed. Tommy hands him the glass of water and strokes his hair while he drinks, leaning into Tommy’s side.
“When I had days like this, I used to go on drives. I found it helped clear my mind,” Tommy tells Eddie. Eddie lists further into Tommy’s arms, his breathing still a little shaky. “Would that be something you would want to do? We don’t have to go anywhere, can just drive until you want to come home.”
Eddie nods in response, and Tommy kisses his temple, then his cheeks, kissing away the tears.
“Get your shoes on and I’ll meet you out the front.”
Tommy goes back into the lounge and tells Buck of their plans. Eddie emerges a few moments later with his shoes and a jacket, and cuddles into Buck’s side when Buck opens his arms for a hug. Buck gives him and Tommy both a kiss before they leave, telling them to have a good drive and not to worry about dinner.
They’re quiet in the car, and Tommy drives along the residential roads, not taking the freeway. Eddie looks out the window and doesn’t say anything, but he clutches onto Tommy’s hand tightly. Tommy rubs the webbing between Eddie’s thumb and forefinger with his own thumb, occasionally bringing the hand up to brush a kiss against his knuckles. About 20 minutes in, Eddie starts to quietly give directions. Tommy figures out where they’re going, and no longer needs directions by the time they’re four blocks away from the cemetery.
When they get out of the car, Eddie begins to walk through the headstones. Tommy follows behind him, not touching Eddie, but still remaining close so he knows he’s here. Eddie stops in front of a grave that reads “Anita Mills.” He explains who she was, choking up occasionally. Tommy lets him speak, listening to every word Eddie says. She’s buried out here because her parents moved out to LA just after she was deployed. She’s the closest one to Eddie now, and he goes to see her once a year.
Eddie wants to talk to Anita on his own for a bit, so that gives Tommy the opportunity to send Buck a quick update. Buck tells Tommy that he’s got dinner underway, and for them to take their time, there’s no rush at all. So, when Eddie’s ready, Tommy takes his hand and leads him through the headstones once again, telling him that he wants to introduce him to someone.
They come to a stop in front of an older looking headstone, with a name carved into it that Tommy hasn’t seen for a long time. It’s his wing leader, he explains to Eddie. She was shot down over enemy territory and Tommy was part of the rescue mission that was sent out to recover her body. She was a role model to him, and taught him a lot about the kindness of the world. Him and Eddie stand together, Tommy’s arm over Eddie’s shoulder and Eddie’s head against his chest, and they just let themselves mourn. Tommy doesn’t know how Eddie’s feeling, but it’s really nice for him to have someone by his side who feels the same pain.
“I think I want to tell Buck about this,” Eddie whispers a few moments later. “I don’t want him to always feel left out when this comes around. I want him to know how it feels to me, how he can help me like you have.”
Tommy pulls Eddie in for a gentle kiss, and strokes his cheekbones. “He’ll be happy you trust him with this. We just want you to know you’re loved, Eddie.”
They go back to the car now, Eddie feeling a little better after having seen Anita and being with Tommy. Tommy drives them past their favourite ice cream place, where they both get a cone, and bring back a small tub for Christopher and Buck to share when they get home.
When they walk in the door, Buck already has dinner ready, and he’s set up the couch with a nest of blankets. Christopher is nestled beside him and looks up with delight as his dad enters the room. Eddie cries a little more as he holds Christopher, and kisses Buck, thanking him for the effort he put in, and for the food. They all snuggle up together, Eddie and Chris in the middle, with Tommy and Buck bracketing them on either side, and Eddie sighs happily as Tommy’s arms circle his waist, pulling him against his chest. They sleep really well that night, all three of them cuddled against each other. Eddie’s in the middle tonight, and Buck and Tommy hold him and kiss him and stroke his hair, while also trailing loving fingers over each other’s arms.
That day is the last time Eddie ever feels alone on the anniversary, because from then onwards, he has his boyfriends by his side, who hold him and let him grieve, and show him how much they love him. And he loves them so much too.

10 eddietommy :)
thank you for the prompt Janai!! 💕
10. … desperately
If Eddie didn’t get his hands on his husband soon, he was going to burst.
Surprisingly, or maybe not that surprisingly, Buck knew a lot of facts about spontaneous human combustion. Which was mostly a good enough distraction. Mostly.
“I can send the you the link to a documentary … oh, and there’s this podcast—” Buck said as they changed back into their civvies at the end of the shift. Eddie didn’t stick around to listen to him finish the sentence. They both knew he would never listen to the podcast anyway.
“Where’s the fire?” Buck called out glibly from behind him. Eddie counted in his head. One. Two. THUNK. “I didn’t mean it like that, Chim,” Buck whined. “Besides, we’re off the clock.”
The alarm bells could’ve been ringing. Nothing would’ve stopped Eddie from getting out the door, fumbling for his truck keys, peeling out of his parking spot, and getting the fuck home to Tommy.
Los Angeles traffic was most certainly doing its best to stop Eddie from getting the fuck home to Tommy.
Finally, finally, finally he turned onto his street. Finally, finally, finally he pulled up in the driveway. Finally, finally, finally he nearly burst down the door when his key nearly stuck in the lock.
He could hear Tommy in the kitchen. Eddie tugged his shoes off and stumbled towards him.
“Hey, babe,” Tommy smiled, and then he didn’t say much else because Eddie was covering his mouth with his own. He kissed Tommy until he felt like he couldn’t breathe, and then he kissed his cheeks and chin and nose, drinking him in.
“Woah there, cowboy,” Tommy said.
“It’s been a week,” Eddie moaned.
“It’s been a little over twenty-four hours,” Tommy said diplomatically. “We saw each other yesterday morning. We had sex yesterday morning. But you know I’m glad to see you again, too?”
“Yeah, yeah,” Eddie said. “Take me to bed, will you? I’ve had to live through this tortuous dry spell.”
Tommy kissed him on the forehead and beamed down at him. “I think you’ve suffered enough. I’ll give you what you’ve been missing.” He guided Eddie’s hand down and—there it was, Tommy’s raging boner, pulsing and hot and all for Eddie. All because of Eddie. Tommy ground into his palm. “Sweetheart, I’ve been desperate for you too.”

for the ship and a kiss prompt <3
eddietommy 19 or 23 or 29 or 30 or 38
infideliteddie ❤️ yay ❤️ if this is a stretch to fit the prompt no it isn’t. I just realllllly wanted to write them cheating with each other. also promise and comfort are lowkey in here too cause why not?
38. … because they’re running out of time
They’re still sleep-warm and sated. Tommy runs his hand down Eddie’s spine and presses a kiss to his shoulder. “Evan’s getting back from Pennsylvania tonight.”
“What time?” Eddie asks, like he doesn’t know. Like there hadn’t been a possibility he’d be the one to pick Evan up from the airport. He wriggles his back up against Tommy’s front, makes a hot, aching line of himself.
“Supposed to land at a quarter after seven,” Tommy answers, playing along. He pulls Eddie in closer, cupping a peg, nibbling at his ear. Eddie’s hand drifts up and rests of Tommy’s thigh.
“When do I get to see you again?” Eddie asks. “For real, not at basketball or something. When it’s us.”
Tommy thinks about it. “Evan’s doing some overnight chaperone thing for Jee’s class in a few weeks. They’re sleeping over at a museum. I’ll have the house to myself.”
Eddie tosses him a smirk over his shoulder. “No, you won’t.”
Tommy grins. “No, I won’t.”
“This week was incredible,” Eddie sighs. “It’ll be hard readjusting.”
“We’ll figure it out, you and me,” Tommy says. “We always have.” And true, time’s winding down on their fantastic little bubble courtesy of Evan’s trip back home. But he’s not back yet. He’s not even in the air.
“Come here, baby,” Tommy says, letting Eddie turn to face him properly and then surging into a hot, lazy kiss, relinquishing himself to Eddie’s grabby hands. “It’s never over between us.”
“Fuck me again?” Eddie asks, already grabbing a pillow to position under his hips. It’s one of Evan’s. Tommy smiles into another kiss.
“How could I resist?”

EddieTommy + cutting out toxic ppl 👀
(I think this is a few years before canon, since I have a vague Eddie / Tommy fic idea in mind)
Eddie glances at his phone.
"No," Tommy says sternly, not for the first time today, raising his brow.
Eddie swallows. But he nods to himself. He can do this. Just like Tommy. It's a waste of time and energy to talk to toxic people. He knows it is. And he doesn't have to talk to his father when he doesn't want to. Not even on Father's Day.
"Today, we are only celebrating one Dad," Tommy says, raising his beer. "You. And you're doing a fucking great job other than men who shall not be named."
Eddie smiles. He clinks his beer bottles with Tommy's. "Cheers to that."
They sit side by side on the picnic blanket, their shoulders touching, watching as Buck and Chris fly a kite a little further away, Chris laughing loudly while the wind tousles his hair and Buck holds him so that he won't fall backwards. "Sometimes I still want to please them all, you know?" Eddie says quietly. "Just want them to be proud. But nothing I do will ever be good enough."
"You do what's right for you and Chris," Tommy says, putting his hand on Eddie's back. "And that's enough."
"Yeah," Eddie says, tilting his head to rest it on Tommy's shoulder. He can have this. He can be happy. There's nothing to prove.
He's free as the kite flying up high.
Thanks for asking! <3

eddietommy + 13 for the kisses ❤️
a peek in eddietommy husbands world! just some good old-fashioned Diaz family bonding
13. … discreetly
Nora hits her first home run on a sunny Thursday afternoon in June, a few months shy of her tenth birthday. Tommy cheers so loudly from the stands that he earns a minor glare from Christopher, who’s sat next to him trying to keep on top of filling in the score keeping book—a role he’d assumed for Nora’s team out of a combination of big brotherly duty and the promise of a bankrolled dinner date for him and his girlfriend. The glare, of course, is only barely covering a wide grin. He’s just as proud of Nora as Tommy is. Eddie’s been coaching her on her swing all season and she’s been steadily improving, but this is the strongest result she’s had yet.
During the next inning break, while the kids are being plied with orange slices by one of the team moms, Tommy gets up to stretch. He traipses around the far side of the dugout, where Eddie’s leaning against the wall, obviously seizing the opportunity a moment of relative quiet from the cheerful chatter on the other side of the thin wooden wall. He’s turning something over in his handsNora’s home run ball that somebody’s sibling must’ve retrieved.
“Coach Diaz,” Tommy calls softly, and Eddie looks up. God, seeing his husband with the baseball cap/mustache combo is never not going to do it for Tommy, is it?
“Look at this!” Eddie says. “That’s our girl, huh?”
“Destined for the major leagues,” Tommy agrees. “Good thing she’s got a great coach.”
Eddie laughs it off. “Speaking of,” he says, “I gotta get back out there.”
Tommy gives him a quick, sweet peck in the shadow of the dugout. “Go win the game for us, okay, Coach?”
“I’ll do my best,” Eddie grins. He presses the baseball into Tommy’s hands and slips around the corner to go back to wrangling a bench full of nine year olds.
Tommy heads back to the stands and plops down next to Chris, who proffers a bag of Big League Chew. “Hey Dad,” he says easily. “Gum?”
Tommy takes a wad, watches his daughter scrambling out toward the outfield and his husband helping a kid put his mitt on the right hand. “Thanks, son,” he says. The words go down as smooth as an early summer day with the best family Tommy could ask for.
