I've decided to do this new thing where I will upload prompts of one-shot ideas every Sunday, and you guys can send a request. You will need to write the prompt you want, with whom ( for now I only write Eddie and Steve), and which type of one shot you want ( fluff, angst, smut...)

SO SWEET!
This paragraph is just everything “he looks at you with love in his eyes. his center of gravity makes a permanent shift and suddenly its you, the string that ties him to reality…” I love that it’s something that snaps into place for him.
I also love that reader is so positive about everything but not pushy. Like she knows he’s making progress healing so she brightly says that they can start eating at the table now. Celebrating small victories!
one day eddie munson just realizes you’ve been taking care of him for months.
like, he knew you were taking care of him, he’s not silly, but like… he noticed you don’t go to the library on thursdays anymore, because now thats when you and eddie wash his hair and change his bandages. or when robin and steve are going for a late night ice cream run, you turn them down - because wayne isnt always home and youd hate for eddie to wake up alone when you know he’s been having nightmares.
youd just been making a lot of sacrifices for him, and while he thinks hes been pretty gracious about it - he’s always said thank you, and even though he’s been low energy, he doesnt think he’s been mean. maybe occasionally grumpy but he was on a lot of medications and he wasnt quite himself. and you knew that, if you were totally honest; you never even thought about, you never took any of it personally. your boyfriend went thru literal hell, you could cut him a little slack
and ever since he realized, hes suddenly hyperaware of everything happening around him. clean laundry always filled the drawers. the house was clean, and the pantry was full. all the bills were paid without any of eddies dealing money… but he noticed his lunchbox moved a few weeks ago, he was too out of it to bring it up but he would have to soon… and three meals a day were delivered with a smile and a kiss, you never complained when he woke up from a nightmare.
and he know he owes you something spectacular. he doesnt know what or when. but he’ll plan some grand gesture to show you that he sees and appreciates everything you’ve done for him in sickness. first he just has to get back in health.
eddie starts brainstorming ideas as soon as he comes to this realization. he knows steve, robin and nancy, and the whole party really, would jump at the chance to help. you were their friend too and you really had taken the role of caretaker for their dear metalhead <3
you bring in his dinner again today, the same genuine, beautiful smile he loves so much and two simple dinners of chicken and rice on plates.
he shimmies up without your help and you smile, saying, “i think tomorrow we’ll start having dinner at the table.” you join him for one last dinner in bed, kissing him on the cheek before eating. “i think its time to get you out of bed.”
he looks at you with love in his eyes. his centre of gravity makes a permanent shift and suddenly its you, the string that ties him to reality, keeping him calm & grounded. gravity be damned, he had something stronger to ground him.
“i couldnt agree more,” eddie says, smiling at you. it was nice to see him start to get his smile back after the … thing. “thank you for dinner again, my love. ill be your personal chef as soon as i’m on my feet.”
you laugh, “maybe after i teach you how to cook.”

Eddie started having night terrors.
They didn’t come every night, but their intensity had you concerned.
The first one had you flying over the back of the couch to get to him. His shrieks turned your blood cold, and watching him shake and convulse was terrifying to witness. In your panic, you wrapped your arms around him to try to ground him and ended up getting hit in the face. After that you asked your teacher for advice on what interventions to do when someone has an episode.
But you weren’t the only one to suffer with pain after getting clocked in the jaw. The days after an episode left Eddie’s body sore from the sudden jerking of his muscles in his sleep. It probably didn’t help that he had also started physical therapy twice a week either, leaving him sore even with his pain medication most of the time.
Needless to say, Eddie was acting like his normal grumpy self most days, even when his friends would come over. Though, he did try and reel it back when he could catch himself or with a subtle nudge from you. By now you’d gotten used to his grumpy attitude and knew it was just coming from a place of hurting. In turn he’s been much more cooperative with you. Progress.
“What the hell are you guys doing?” You ask with a laugh, as you get out of your car. Eddie is sitting on the ground leaning back against his hands with his legs sprawled out. Will and Grant sit on either side of him as Dustin pushes Eddie’s wheelchair on its back wheels, Jeff sitting in it and squealing as Gareth and Mike laugh.
“They’re trying to break Jeff so him and Eddie can get matching chairs,” Grant called, eliciting a laugh from Eddie and Will.
“N’they’re gonna pay for his new one when they break that one,” Wayne calls from the porch, lit cigarette in hand. All around him are pumpkins of all different shapes and sizes, like a little pumpkin patch had grown around him.
“Ah, I see.” You nod.
Grabbing your bag, you walk into the Munson home to get your things settled. Glancing over into the dining room, you expected to see the table already set up for their game night, but were surprised to see it covered in newspaper and knives and spoons.
“Are you guys carving these pumpkins?” You ask, stepping back out onto the porch and pointing at the Wayne’s posse.
“Yep,” Eddie called back. “My PT said it would be a “fun activity” to work on my hand strength," he said with stiff fingered air quotes.
“Yeah, Eddie’s gonna scoop out all the guts with his bare hands,” Dustin says, setting the wheelchair back down to wiggle his fingers.
“Ew gross,” Mike joins in with Dustin’s antics.
“It’s not gross,” you say with a roll of the eyes. “Save the seeds and I’ll bake them for later.”
“Mmm, some roasted pumpkin seeds sounds real good.” Wayne says, putting his cigarette out and standing from his seat. “Save me some a’them when you make em.”
“Of course!”
“Hey, should we show her what we found earlier?” Your ears twitch when you hear Will lean into Eddie’s side. He looks at you over his shoulder, then back to the group before nodding.
And that’s how you ended up following the boys through the woods around the Munson house. Grant pushed Eddie’s chair through the woods, which wasn’t as terrible of terrain as you had expected. If the slight bounce bothered him, Eddie didn’t say. You stayed steady next to him, only moving to let them go ahead of you when the mostly thinned out trees were too close in some areas.
After a few minutes and a lot of loud conversation between the boys, you came to a small clearing that dropped off into a cliff. It made you nervous to see the boys get so close to the drop, especially when Grant pushed Eddie almost to the very edge.
“Hey, be careful, please,” you called from behind them.
“Come on, come see how far down this is!” Jeff called, his toes right on the cliff’s edge. You take a couple steps forward, just enough that you can see the water sloshing at the bottom.
To see it made you dizzy, so you tried to focus your eyes elsewhere, instead taking in the breathtaking view of the lake below. You could see boats, houses, and even a man fishing off of a dock behind his house. If there was a railing or something to hold on to out here, you could see yourself coming out here to sit with Eddie on a nice day.
“Woah, shit!” Your heart stops beating as you watch Will pull Mike’s stumbling body back from the ledge, and you’re instantly done with this whole adventure.
“Alright, I get the idea. Field trips over,” you say, walking over to Eddie’s chair and pulling him back. “We better go carve those pumpkins before it gets too late and the kids have to go home.”
There’s some groans of protest, but they all follow your lead back to through the woods.
“You have to admit it was pretty cool, though, right?” Eddie says, his head tilting back just a bit to look at you. He was smiling. It was something he started doing more and you couldn’t help the way it made your stomach flip every time he did it.
“Yeah, it was definitely a nice view,” you agreed with a sigh.
“Maybe when it gets warm out we can try jumping from it.” You hear Gareth say to one of the other boys. You recall the large drop from where you all stood at the top and a shiver went down your spine.
“I wouldn’t...unless you really want to get your own wheelchair to match Eddie's,” you say back. Gareth doesn’t let out another peep for the duration of the walk back.
Tumblr media
“Okay, since Eddie is on scooping duty make sure you give him your pumpkins once you’ve got the tops off.”
The boys are sitting in their normal gaming formation, except for where Eddie and Gareth have swapped sides so Eddie can sit next to you. The pumpkin that the boys picked out for Eddie sits in front of you since you offered to carve it for him.
“What are you going to draw on it?” You ask him as you cut into the top of the thick pumpkin with force.
“I’m not sure yet,” he says indecisively. “Something scary for sure.”
“How about Mrs. O’Donnell?” Gareth nudges Eddie’s side, and the boys at the table all grimace.
“Fuck no. As terrifying as she is, I’d rather carve a demoba--”
Eddie catches himself mid sentence, horror written all over his face as he looks directly at Dustin. Mike and Will share similar pale faced expressions as Dustin. The tension at the table could be cut with a knife and you weren’t sure how to defuse the situation.
“Well,” Grant is the first to break the silence, “I think that, whatever we all decide to do, that we could make it into a competition. Let the newbie decide who has the best design.” He was looking straight at you and you were caught off guard by the new label.
“Oh, come on, that’s not fair,” Gareth chimes in before you can say anything, “Will is like, one of the best artists in the whole town. He’s definitely gonna win.” Will sat up straight in his chair, before shrinking down with a smile.
“Hey, now, let’s not forget who designed these bad ass tee shirts,” Eddie says, gesturing at himself.
“You made those designs?” You ask surprised. Eddie nods with pride.
“Yep, when Hellfire was founded in ‘82. We scrounged up enough money to go to a print shop and have these bad boys made at the beginning of the school year. Wasn’t cheap, so we’ve always tried to be extra careful with them.”
“Awe, that’s so cute,” you giggle.
The table erupts in a defensive roar about how it is apparently not cute that their club has tee shirts that they take very good care of. No one was convincing you otherwise.
You blew them off and distracted them by having them give Eddie their pumpkins. They all watched with amusement as Eddie reached down into each pumpkin and pulled the slimy, seedy guts out of them. Eddie’s button nose scrunched up with disgust, contrasted by the wide grin that touched his eyes. His tongue poked out in concentration as he swirled around the inside of the pumpkin, plopping the guts into bowls and pots with each one.
By the time he had gutted each pumpkin of their contents, Eddie looked like he was done for the rest of the night.
“Eddie, do you want to save your pumpkin for another night?” You ask quietly, leaning in so only he could hear. He looks at you, brown orbs darting back and forth between your eyes carefully before smiling at you.
“Yeah, please?”
“Of course.”
Tumblr media
“See, I told you that Will was going to win!” Gareth shouted, his hands falling at his side with a huff as the rest of the group laughed at his bitching.
“I’m sorry, it’s really good! That’s the most detailed pumpkin carving of a vampire’s face I’ve ever seen.”
“Thanks,” Will said bashfully.
“Gareth, I don’t know why you’re bitching. Your jack-o-lanturn’s eyes aren’t even the same size.” Eddie razzed, goading Gareth until he flipped him off.
“Awe, I thought the mismatched eyes were cute,” you said teasingly, and Gareth froze, turning away from your eyes to stand by Will, who gave him a pat on the back.
As you all stood around admiring the hard work of everyone’s carved pumpkins, the sound of loud music playing grabbed all of your attention. It progressively got louder, sounding like it was coming from down the driveway.
“What the hell?” Jeff said with a tilt of his head.
Everyone seemed more confused than anything, but you clocked the look on Eddie’s face as he looked between the trees of the winding driveway. There was a fear there that you’d only seen in his face during his night terrors, and everything in your body was telling you that you needed to get him and everyone else inside.
“Come on guys, lets go—”
The loud revving of the engine drowned out the sound of whatever song the driver was playing. The car came over the bump at an alarming pace before slamming on its breaks once it got up to the clearing. Headlights blinded all of you, and your body moved on its own accord to stand directly in front of Eddie.
The engine cut off abruptly, the lights dimming enough to reveal fire engine red sports car with a black stripe down the middle. You could barely see the fuzzy dice hanging from the rear view mirror through the heavily tinted windows.
“Holy shit,” you hear Eddie say behind you. The fear had left his features, replaced with an elated shock that left you wanting to ask several questions. But before you could question him, Eddie maneuvered around you and the rest of the guys heading straight toward the mysterious car.
Just as Eddie approached the car, the driver side door swung open. A man  only a few years older than you with blond, spiked hair stepped out. The man had to be at least 6’5, his face covered in piercings and he had an over all aura of trouble.
“How the hell did he get this address?” You hear Jeff question Grant and Gareth.
“Rick!” Eddie shouts excitedly.
“Holy fuck, dude,” Rick says, pushing up his sunglasses and slamming his car door shut. He runs up to Eddie and embraces him tightly, bending down to be at his level. Rick pulled back, looking Eddie up and down before bringing his hand down on his shoulder a few times.
“Damn, that dude really did a number on you, huh?”
Eddie visibly shrinks, shrugging his shoulders. “Yeah, you could say that.”
“Who the hell is that?” You ask Jeff quietly, taking a few steps back to be standing next to him.
“That’s Reefer Rick,” he says with an annoyed tone. “He’s Eddie’s friend. Got Eddie into dealing in school.” Your neck almost breaks with how quickly you look at Jeff.
“Dealing? Like, drug dealing?”
Jeff looks at you and nods. “Uh, yeah? You didn’t know about that?”
“Um, no. I didn’t.”
“It was just weed,” Jeff as an attempt to save face, “Aaaaaand sometimes random pills that Rick would give him to sell. But nothing serious.”
“Oh, okay. Just weed and pills. Which are both totally illegal to sell but it’s cool right?” Your blood was starting to boil with this new information. You don’t know why you’re even upset, it’s not like you really cared if people smoked weed or whatever.
Really it’s the idea of Eddie getting in trouble after everything he’s been through. Drug dealers are notorious for being sneaky and conniving, right? What if this guy thinks Eddie got money in the settlement and is here looking for a handout.
“Hi," you say in a clipped tone to the man as you approach him and Eddie. You give him just your first name, extending a hand out to him with faux pleasantry as you settle next to Eddie in his chair. “Who are you?”
“Oh, hey, this is Rick,” Eddie says to you with excitement. “Rick, this is my…caregiver.”
Rick takes your hand, looking you up and down before giving you a loose handshake. “Well, hello nurse,” Rick smiles, maintains eye contact with you as he continues to hold your hand..
After a beat Eddie clears his throat, and Rick retracts his hand from yours. You don’t miss the subtle shift in Eddie’s chair, making him close enough you can feel his arm against yours. You took the hint, and stepped back until you were behind his chair. Rick laughed lowly before looking back to Eddie.
“Well, I’m glad you have someone who can take care of you,” Rick says with a cheshire smile. “Especially since I’m sure Wayne is back at work. Must be expensive to live all the way out here.”
“Eh, we had it built out here as part of the settlement, so it’s paid for. He still has to pay the bills, though.” Eddie’s voice trails off at the end. “Wish I could do something to help…”
“Yeah, I don’t blame ya,” Rick says as he scans the land, nodding his head to the guys as he does. “I’m sure you’re not interested in getting back into the business with me given…well, everything.”
“Ah, yeah…I owe you an apology…” Eddie looks up to Rick with a guilty expression.
“For what? Oh, you mean my house?” Eddie nods and Rick waves him off. “Nah, don’t sweat it man. I took everything with me when I went to Vegas so if anyone went in there snooping they wouldn’t have found anything anyway. It looked like they had sent someone in to clean though. Looked nicer than the day my parents—I mean, the day I bought it.” Eddie nods, letting out a breath that he was holding as Rick talked.
“Well that’s nice that your house that you bought is all clean,” you say, grabbing onto the handles of Eddie’s wheelchair, “And since he’s isn’t interested in your business endeavors, I guess that means you don’t need anything from Eddie then, right?”
Rick looks down at Eddie, then back up to you with a curious look. His tongue rings peaks out from between his lips as he plays with it, before popping it back in his mouth to speak.
“Well, I was just coming out here to see a dear old friend of mine. But, there is one thing that I want to speak with him about. In private.” He leans down to eye level, eyes squinting with how tightly he smiles at you.
You open your mouth to protest immediately, but you feel Eddie push against the wheels, his chair moving away from you as he motioned Rick to follow him.
“Give us just a second.”
You stand in the same spot, speechless as they move far enough away that you can’t hear the conversation between them. A hand on your shoulder pulls your attention, and Dustin motions you back over to where the guys are huddled together.
“He’s an idiot,” Grant whisper yells into the huddle.
“Yeah, but he’s obviously lost his best salesmen for the high school territory,” Mike argues. “Wouldn’t be surprised if he was asking if one of us would want to start dealing for him.”
“He better not. You guys better not,” you say with a pointed finger at the boys who were still in high school.
“Trust us, we won’t,” Dustin said with a firm tone.
“Well, whatever he wants, it’s probably not good.”
“Well…”
“Jeff, no.”
“Hey, he’s the whole reason Eddie even stayed in high school. He probably would have dropped out if Rick hadn’t convinced him to keep trying.”
“He only wanted Eddie to keep trying so he could keep selling drugs to high schoolers!”
“That’s a pretty good point.”
“What’s a good point?”
All heads turned to Eddie, who was just behind you with an amused smile on his face. Rick wasn’t with him, still standing back by his car with a lit cigarette in his hand, eyes watching you carefully.
“Oh, we were just…”
“We were saying that you two should decorate her car for the Trunk r Treat festival. And the point was…that you could wear a mask and no one would know it was you?”
Everyone looks at Dustin like he has two heads. Where he even came up with that…you had no idea.
Eddie’s curls bounce as he shakes his head. “What? Trunk r Treat? What are you guys talking about?”
“Oh, the Trunk r Treat is what the town is doing instead of regular trick r treating since the roads are still pretty messed up. Everyone is gonna pull their cars into the fairgrounds and let the kids trick r treat there.”
“That sounds like fun,” you say, looking at Eddie with a hopeful smile. “It would be nice to get out of the house for a little bit. You said Halloween is your favorite holiday, right? I think it would be fun!”
“You guys are serious, aren’t you?” The mood shifts when Eddie speaks. “You seriously think it would be a good idea for me to go out into public? On Halloween night?”
“That’s why I said you could wear a mask!” Dustin seems to be the only one who isn’t affected by Eddie’s tone. “And no one knows you’re missing part of your leg. It would be perfect.” Dustin gestures to you, “And you’ll have your guardian angel with you. If anyone does give you shit she can pack you up in the car real quick and you can say ‘I told you so’ to us at the next Hellfire meeting.’”
Eddie’s jaw rolls in frustration, a heavy sigh leaving him as he leans forward in his chair.
“Hopper will be there,” Will chimes in. “Him and my mom are going to decorate the back of his old police cruiser. I-I could tell him you’re going and I’m sure he’d keep an eye out on you.” The boys look from Will to Eddie as they wait for his response.
“I…I…Let—let me think about it. Okay? No promises.”
The boys all perk up at Eddie’s potential compliance. Chatter about costumes and getting together at Mike’s parents house has everyone forgetting about the concerns of Rick’s arrival.
You remember though. You hear Rick laugh to himself from where he’s leaning against his car. Looking over your shoulder, you watch as he flicks his cigarette away and opens the door. Stopping about halfway in, he looks at Eddie then to you. He sends you a wink, then gets in without another word.
Tumblr media
After about a week of convincing from all the Hellfire boys, you, and even Wayne, Eddie finally caved in and agreed to go to the Hawkins Trunk r Treat. Wayne talked with Hopper about trying to get your cars parked next to each other during the whole event just in case. And Wayne also promised that him and his friend Ben would stay close by in town if anything happened. Eddie didn’t really have much of a reason to say no.
You on the other hand had to come up with an excuse as to why you wouldn’t be spending Halloween with your best friend.
“We ALWAYS have movie night! You can’t just call in sick or something?” Tonya pleads with you as the two of you split each others Chinese take out. You shrug your shoulders, the feeling of guilt creeping up like bile in your throat.
“I’m sorry Tonnie, I can’t. Honestly, I’m surprised you haven’t made plans with Charles for the night.”
“He probably would have asked but he knows that we always spend Halloween together.”
“I’m sorry, Tonya, but we’re big girls now. Sometimes things need to change…”
Her lower lip pouts at you, and you can tell by the way her eyes are glassy that she’s genuinely upset. If it were anyone else, you would be spending time with her in a heart beat. Ever since the two of you became friends, Halloween has been your thing.
You’d always been scared of the holiday after when happened with your parents, but over the years Tonya has been able to slowly tear down your fears and make the holiday enjoyable again. Now that you’ve gotten the chance to potentially to the same with Eddie and his fear of going in public again, you feel obligated to follow in her image.
“I’m really proud of you, you know?” She miles as you as she dabs the wetness from her eyes. “I can’t believe how much you’ve changed. Your parents, your grandparents…they’d be really happy to see you working so hard. With school, work, and still helping me out here…Oh, come here!”
She stands from her seat and rushed to hug you, which you return with equal adoration. For a split moment you want to tell her everything. About Eddie and everything he’s been through. About how you’re starting to prefer being at the Munson house over anywhere else. About how if anyone has come out of their shell, it’ Eddie. About how you’re not really sure about Sam, and how you don’t want to admit that there might be a reason why you’re feeling that way…
Tumblr media
“Weren’t kiddin’ about your trunk being big, huh?” Eddie and Wayne peer into the trunk of your car as you pop it open. “I’m sure you won’t have any issue gettin’ it in and outta here. Want me t’help ya get in, son?”
“Can I try first?”
Wayne nods and Eddie maneuvers himself to the passenger side of your car. You’re already standing there waiting with the door open for him, holding it in place.
The Trunk r Treat was this coming weekend and the Hellfire boys were going to help decorate your trunk before Friday’s game. All you and Eddie had to do was get the materials and the candy. You saw Wayne hand Eddie some cash thinking that you weren’t looking, but you had no intention of letting Eddie pay for anything. This was for him, so why stress him out when you know that money is a touchy subject for him?
Eddie gets his chair in position and locks the wheels. Grabbing the “oh shit” handle and the side of the door, he lifts himself up from his chair and pauses for a moment. His face is scrunched up from pain after already having physical therapy this morning. It was hard not to get him to over do it now that his mobility has started to improve, but you would rather him learn his limits than go back to being bedridden.
A few deep breaths and a quick shift of his foot puts his ass on the edge of the seat of your car. There’s a loud thump where his head bumps the low slope of your cars door, but he just rolls his eyes and laughs it off, much to your joy. You think about how two months ago when you started caring for him that he probably would have thrown a fit and fell in it if he were to go through this exact scenario now.
“Good job, Eddie,” you praise. He looks away from you bashfully, muttering a small thanks under his breath. Even if he wouldn’t admit it, you know deep down Eddie likes to be told he’s doing good. You’ve noticed it in the ways he reacts to you commenting on all of his achievements; the coy smiles and the way he starts to fidget with his rings when you sing his praises.
Wayne grabs Eddie’s chair and puts it in the trunk. “You gonna be able to get this thing out when ya get there?”
“Yep! I’m used to lugging wheelchairs around by now. No biggie!”
Wayne nods and rounds the car to Eddie’s side. As the two men talk, you hop into the passenger seat and start the car.
“Now don’t go and give her any trouble, Eds.”
“I know, I know,” Eddie says, rolling his eyes. “If anything she’s gonna give me trouble. I just know she’s gonna be having me dress up in every costume they have there.”
“That’s not true,” you say defensively. “I actually already know what I want you to go as, so if you don’t fight me on it then you’ll only have to try one costume on.”
“Why does that not make me feel any better?”
Wayne barks out a laugh before closing the car door. He waves the two of you off as you make your way down the driveway until he’s no longer in site.
Tumblr media
“Okay, let me make sure I’m understanding you right.” Eddie holds up the large, white, round costume that you handed to him, eyeing it skeptically. “You want me to dress up as…an egg?”
You laugh through your nose involuntarily, trying and failing to keep your composure. In your hand you hold what can only be describe as a “sexy devil” costume that consists of a short red dress, a pair of devil horns, and devil’s spear.
“Yeah, and I’ll be the devil, see? We’d—” you snort again, “We’d be deviled eggs!”
A smile cracks on Eddie’s face, more amused at your inability to contain your own laughter rather than at your poor excuse for a Halloween costume idea. He give you a half serious look as he hands you back the egg costume without another comment.
“Awe, come on,” you say as you take the costume from him, “you have to at least admit it was funny.”
“Yeah, yeah, whatever. What’s the real idea that you have?”
You swap the costumes out from the rack for the ones you really wanted to do. Handing Eddie the long nightgown, you hold up what would be your costume; a long red cape and a plaid blue dress with a ruffle under the skirt.
“Okay, so obviously that’s red riding hood,” Eddie says pointing to your outfit. “But what exactly is—” You hand him a wolf mask, which he takes from you and examines carefully.
“You’ll be the Big Bad Wolf, disguised as the grandmother,” you explain after a long moment of silence.
“Yeah, I gathered that,” he sasses. He takes a few more moments to think it over, and you watch the way he looks at your costume, then to you. There’s a shift in his demeanor that you can’t quite interpret, and before you can think too much into it he finally speaks.
“Alright, I’ll do it,” he says, placing the costume pieces in his lap. “Better than the deviled egg idea.”
“Well, maybe next year I can sway you into the deviled egg. But I guess this works, too.” Eddie straightens in his chair, and you swear you could see a small blush on his cheeks.
After you gathered everything for your costumes, you and Eddie did a little more shopping around for some stuff to decorate your trunk with. Streamers, hanging bats, fake spider webs, and enough candy to feed a small village fill your arms and Eddie’s lap all the way to the check out counter.
As the girl behind the counter rings out your items, you notice she keeps taking glances at Eddie. He’s too busy looking at the check out candle to notice, but you keep an eye on her just in case.
“Is that all for you?” She asks with a pop of her gum. You nod and she give you your total. As you reach for your wallet in your purse, Eddie shift in his chair, pulling out his own wallet.
“I got it,” he says, taking a $20 bill from the billfold.
“Nope,” you say, pulling out your own money and handing it to the cashier.
“No, please. I want to pay--”
“It’s okay, Eddie. Save it and buy us a pizza or something sometime when I don’t feel like cooking your dinner.”
The girl behind the counter’s gum popped loudly as she held your change in her hand. Eddie shrank back in his chair, stuffing the $20 back into his wallet. You took your bags from the counter and plopped them in Eddie’s lap, much to his surprise.
“Here, if you want to help, you can carry these.”
As you push his him out of the shop, Eddie asks you to stop before going off the curb.
“What’s up?”
“Can we go into the Goodwill over there?” He nods down the strip of stores where the sign to the second hand shop is displayed in the window.
“Sure,” you say without a second thought, “Lets put these bags in my car and then we can go in there.”
The store is a little busier than you expected. Everyone from kids to adults were checking out the shelves for their last minute home made costumes and accessories to wear this weekend. It made you happy to see so many people excited about the event.
The boys told you that Halloween can be a big deal in Hawkins. But after the earthquake, those who still remained wondered if there would even be a Halloween this year. Apparently the mother of one of their friends, Lucas, joined the city counsel and pitched the idea in a city meeting and most everyone was on board.
“The only person who protested was Mary Cunningham,” Dustin told you in a hushed tone. “She said it wasn’t safe to have all of the towns kids in one spot for ‘easy pickings.’” Mary Cunningham was the mother of Chrissy Cunningham, the girl that was murdered by Victor Creel in Eddie’s trailer before he attempted to kill Eddie himself. Wayne never told you this, but, according to the boys, Mary Cunningham is still convinced Eddie was the one who tried to kill Eddie, despite the evidence that supports that it was Creel. You hoped that she wouldn’t show up to the event this weekend.
“No way!” Eddie pulls a tee shirt from one of the racks. You’re standing next to his chair rather than behind it to make room for people to go around you in the tight, over stuffed isles. You turn your body, hand on his shoulder as you try to let a lady and he kid move behind you.
“What is it?”
“It’s a Black Sabbath tour shirt! This one’s from a tour they did in the 70’s though. Like a tour they did in Europe. I wonder how it ended up in this dump of a Goodwill?”
“Sounds like it ended up here so that you could buy it.”
Eddie looked at the shirt solemnly. Most of his attire that he had consisted of plain tee shirts and pajama pants that had come from packs at the store. All of his clothes and other personal belongings had been swallowed up by the earthquake and destroyed.
“Well…” he said after a few moments, “It is only 50 cents…”
“Perfect!” You pluck the shirt from his hands and fold it over your arm. “Keep looking. Maybe someone’s metal loving uncle passed away and his family brought his clothes here. I’m gonna go look at some pants for you.”

“There’s that beautiful smile that I love to see,” Sam says as you push the door of his office open. You gave him a small smile, setting his coffee down on his desk. He stood up, rounding the desk to embrace you in a tight hug, his lips meeting the top of your head to leave a kiss there.
“Morning,” you say, taking a step back from him when he loosens his grip. “Sorry I couldn’t bring you one of these before today. Hopefully you made it through the week without.”
“Barely,” he said with a sarcastic huff. “Have to admit I missed seeing you more, though. Been busy with midterms?”
You give him an exhausted nod. Between getting everything together for this weekend, helping Tonya deep clean the house before her trip with Charles, and dealing with your midterms, you’d been properly worn down to a barely functioning human.
“Awe, poor thing,” Sam cooes at you, his hand cupping your face to rub his thumb against your cheek. “Sounds like you deserve a little fun weekend. My buddy is having a get together at his house weekend and I’d really love for you to come.”
“This weekend?” You ask. Sam nods. “Oh, no I-I can’t. It’s Halloween weekend and…I spend it with Tonya every year. It’s been our tradition since we were kids. Sorry.”
“Oh, that’s okay. I’ve been wanting to meet her and this Charles guy you hate so much. We can do a double date. Maybe some haunted houses or something?”
“No! No—I, um, I don’t do haunted houses.” That wasn’t a lie.
“That’s fine, maybe a movie at the drive in?”
“Sam, I’m sorry. It’s not exactly a tradition where we let other people take part in. Charles wont be there either.”
Sam’s shoulders slump as he sighs, his lips tightening into a straight line.
“Okay, I get it. I’m not going to step on any toes. But…” Sam looks up at you through his lashes, “make it up to me next weekend?”
You breathe in, then out. It suddenly hits you that…you don’t really want to make it up to him net weekend.
“Sure.”

The Munson household is a busy one this cool, autumn Saturday. Eddie and the guys are in his room getting ready for the night. Their collective laughter and talking over each other is the only thing louder than the volume of the music that they have blaring. Even with the door closed you find it hard to think over the noise.
Wayne and Ben are in the kitchen prepping dinner for everyone before the nights festivities. They were joined by the infamous Hopper and Joyce Byers who brought the food by when they dropped off Will and Jane. The same Jane who was occupying the hall bathroom with you right now.
“They were trying to get you to dress up as one of the guys from Devo?”
Jane nods with an annoyed look. “Yes. They wanted me to wear a stupid red hat. I told them no, and said I wanted to go as Pat Benatar instead. She is my favorite singer.”
“Great choice,” your head bobs in agreement. You take a little more of the blue eye shadow on the tip of your finger and smudge it over her eyelids. “What’s your favorite song?”
“Heartbreaker,” she whispers shyly with a smile.
“That’s a good one! I think We Belong is mine.”
“That one is a good song, too. It’s a love song.”
“Yeah, I guess you could say I’m a sucker for a good love ballad,” you shrug, washing your hands of the make up that stained your fingers. “Now, where is the wig you said you got?”
Jane helped you zip up the back of your dress just as there was a knock on the bathroom door. You pulled the red cloak over your shoulders as she opened it, her dad standing just on the other side of the doorway.
“Jesus, kid, is that enough make up?” He says, his voice raising a distraught octave.
“Oh, look at you!” Joyce pushes past the disgruntled Hopper and into the bathroom. She looks Jane up and down, her excitement a clear contrast to Hoppers.
“You look just like her in those pictures! I’m glad we were able to find this fabric to make this jumper.”
“Joyce, she looks like a—“
“Woah, Pat Benatar!”
Will and Gareth poke their heads around the corner of the door frame, both of them dressed like characters from Star Wars whose names you can’t quite remember.
“Oh, you boys look adorable!” Joyce squeezes Will's cheeks, much to his dismay. Gareth lets out a snicker at will’s expense, only stopping once he’s caught your eye. Then, like usual, he slinks back out of sight.
In his place Mike and Dustin pop up. Dustin is dressed like Darth Vader, his helmet in his hand as they barge into the bathroom. “Are you two ladies ready to go yet?”
“I think so,” you say, quickly clearing up the mess that you’ve made in the Munson bathroom.
“Wow, El, you look badass!” Mike says, putting an arm around her for a side hug.
“Thank you, Mike. She helped.” Jane says, pointing in your direction.
“Oooh, I get it,” Dustin suddenly says as if he’s had an epiphany, eyes narrowing as he looks you up and down.
“Get what?”
“Your’s and Eddie’s couple’s costumes.”
The eye shadow pallet drops from your hands with a loud clutter. “Wh-what are you talking about?”
“What do you mean ‘what am I talking about?’ You and Eddie are going as Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf, right?”
“Well, yeah, but…”
“That’s, like, a classic couples costume!”
“Oh, that’s so sweet!” Joyce says, her hand on her heart as she looks up at Hopper. “Didn’t you and Margaret Sanders go as the wolf and Red Riding Hood to John Collins’ Halloween party one year?”
Jim nods with a big, mustached grin. “Yep.”
“I feel like an asshole.”
Eddie’s voice in the hallway catches your attention. Jim moves out of view, making room for Eddie’s chair as Jeff and Grant follow behind him.
“You sound like one, too,” Jeff laughs from behind him.
Eddie was being his normal grumpy self today. Enough that you were worried that he might call the whole thing off and not go. But, he seemed to manage to push through. Although you worried that the amount of people occupying his house was stressing him out a bit.
As Jeff pushed him past the door, Eddie turned to look inside the overcrowded bathroom. Even with all of the bodies in the way, his eyes were on you in an instant. He didn’t say anything, more so looking at you like a deer caught in headlights until he was completely out of view.
“Foods ready!” Ben calls from the kitchen. Doesn’t take much more convincing than that for everyone to file out of the bathroom and into the kitchen. You take the opportunity to finish putting everything away before joining in the chaos.
Loud chattering fills the kitchen as everyone moves around the table to get their food. When you do come out of the bathroom, you see someone’s already put Eddie in the recliner, his tv tray set up in front of him as he patiently waited for everyone to finish getting their plates.
“Hey stranger,” you say, stealing his attention from whatever daydream he was having.
“Hey,” he said with a tight smile. You eyed him suspiciously.
“What hurts?”
He’s still for a moment, before he sighs and gives you a more genuine smile.
“I’m just having those ghost pains or whatever.” His hand rubs over the clothed end of his thigh where his leg was severed.
Ever since he started physical therapy two weeks ago he’s been complaining of pains in his leg where it's not there anymore. You asked your professor about it, and she said it's not uncommon for amputees to have phantom pains. There’s not much you can do about it other than try to distract the person having them.
“I see. Well, maybe eating something might help. Is anyone getting you a plate?”
Eddie shook his head with a shit eating grin. “I told them that you’d wanna do it.” You rolled your eyes, but he was right.
There was still a weird feeling that resided in you about being there for anything other than being Eddie’s caretaker. Even after two months of Wayne’s warm hospitality, a month of being taken in by the Hellfire boys, and being treated as if you’ve always been around by Joyce and Hopper, you still felt like an outsider looking in.
Tumblr media
People on foot walked by as the cars loaded in through the entry gate of the Hawkins fairgrounds. You were sure that just about everyone in this town was showing up tonight. It made you buzz with excitement to see all the costumes and decked out cars.
“Excited?” Eddie asks you, his eyes darting around at the crowds. There was an indecipherable tone to his voice.
“Of course,” you say, the car moving up a bit to keep up with Hopper's cruiser in line. “Are you?”
“Is Eddie excited about Halloween?” Dustin’s head pops between yours and Eddie’s from the back seat. He slaps his hand on Eddie’s shoulder and gives him a little shake. “Eddie is probably the biggest fan of Halloween I know. He made a whole one shot campaign based on our party trying to escape from Michael Meyers.”
“What? No way, that sounds awesome. Halloween is probably my favorite Halloween movie.”
“It is a classic,” Eddie says with a grin. “Although, I will say that Friday the Thirteenth did freak me out for a while after I saw it for the first time. Still can’t believe that it was his mom the whole time—”
“His mom the whole time?” The two of you say it in unison. You look at each other for a moment before laughing. Dustin makes an audible gagging sound from the back seat and Eddie wastes no time reaching back to swat at him. You shush the both of them as Hopper pulls ahead, making your car next in line.
“Hi, folks,” the older gentleman says, shining a flashlight into the car and almost blinding you. “Hop took care of your cover charge and told me to make sure you guys get the spot next to him.” The man hands you a paper with the number 66 printed on it. It looks like it’s cut in a way that lets it hang from your rear view mirror, most likely to keep track of the amount of cars coming in to participate in the event.
As the man gives you instructions on how to find your spot inside, you cant help but you notice the subtle way he glances to Eddie in the passenger seat. You’re not sure if the man recognizes Eddie or if he’s trying to, but you don’t stick around long enough to find out. Eddie slips on his wolf mask once you take off inside of the fair grounds.
It doesn’t take you long to find your spot. The Hopper-Byers group is all helping out to set everything up for Joyce and Hopper to pass out candy. The back of the cruiser is set up to look like a tent, with a fake fire, a stuffed bear, and a blue blanket meant to be a lake side view.
Dustin pulls Eddie’s chair out from the back seat of your car, helping him out as you pop open your trunk. The effort they put into their theme almost makes you feel self conscious of your trunk, the ‘theme’ looking more like a Halloween store exploded rather than anything cohesive. But then you remember it was put together by Eddie and his friends, and you decide you love it just the way it is.
 “All right!” Joyce calls out once your cars are all set up. She sets a plastic bowl in Eddie’s lap and starts pouring candy into it. “Let’s get this party started!”
“Joyce don’t start getting to crazy before the kids get here,” Hops says teasingly as he pulls on his trapper hat. To go with their theme Hop and Joyce are dressed up like campers, which, in hind site, was probably a good call considering how cold the nights have been getting in Hawkins. You were already starting to regret your costume choice as the breeze hit your legs where your dress didn’t cover.
“Isn’t that the point?” Jane asks. “Is she not supposed to scare the kids?”
“Not enough that they wont come around to get candy,” Will retorts.
He’s half paying attention to the conversation as he looks around. Suddenly his hand shoots up, waving and shouting to the Hellfire guys as they walk through the cars. They all gather together and migrate to stand around Eddie, bags and pillowcases out towards him.
“Trick r treat!” They say in a sing song unison, laughter breaking out among them. Eddie’s head drops in the mask, his body shaking as he joins in with the guffaws of his friends.
As you watch them interact, you wonder what faces Eddie is making under the mask. Recently, you’ve felt like you’ve been able to see the real Eddie slip through the cracks. By now you can tell when one of his smiles is fake or genuine, as well as when his anger is real or just out of pain. But, with the plastic mask to hide behind, will he still feel the need to keep himself so reserved tonight?
Tumblr media
It didn’t take long for the night to get going. Spirits were high as children, teens, and adults all made their ways between the cars to fill their bags with candy and other goodies being passed around.
You could admit you were a little nervous when Joyce gave the bowl of candy to Eddie earlier. But, either no one could tell it was him under the wolf mask, or no one cared enough to say anything.
Eddie seemed to be enjoying himself, too. After a while he started to compliment the different costumes in a scary wolf voice, which the kids that came by loved. He even went out of the way to put candy into the trick r treater’s bags, not caring about the scars on his hands being seen.
“Gonna need another refill,” he says to you as the last group of kids move on down the line.
“Roger that,” you say, jumping up to grab another bag of candy from your trunk, pushing the fake spider webs to the side.
Some of the bags slid to the back, so you have to really reach in to get your hands on it. Just as you get a grip on the plastic bag, you feel something pulling on the skirt of your dress. You pinch the plastic of the bag, dragging it out with you as you stand up straight.
Looking over your shoulder, you see that Eddie’s hand is holding on to the hem, pulling it taut over your ass. You’re about to ask what he’s doing when the chuckling from a group of passing boys reaches your ears.
“Thanks,” you say to Eddie, smoothing out the skirt of your dress. His mask looks up at you, and his hand quickly retracts from where it was holding on to you.
“Y-you’re welcome,” he says, voice muffled by the mask.
As you pour more candy into his bowl, a group of three young girls approaches Eddie.
“Trick r treat,” the girls say, holding their bags out for Eddie.
Eddie is still for a moment, grabbing the candy wordlessly and placing it into the girls candy bags. When he gets to the last girl, he hesitates before letting the candy drop inside.
“Where’s your brother, Lady Applejack?” Eddie suddenly says, still using his wolf voice.
The girl's eyes go wide, shifting between her two confused friends before nodding to the side. The two girls move on to Joyce and Hoppers truck, leaving Lady Applejack behind.
“Munson?” She whispers with bemusement. “Is that you under that creepy mask?”
“The one and only,” he says, his hands gesturing wildly to himself.
The girl looks up and down at you, then back to Eddie. “I didn’t know you had a girlfriend.”
You shuffle in your spot awkwardly. You’d gone the whole night with no one saying anything besides Dustin, and you were hoping that it would stay that way.
“We’re not dating,” Eddie says neutrally. “She’s my caregiver.”
“Caregiver? Is that not the same thing as a girlfriend?”
“Basically.” The words spill out of you like vomit. “It’s all the non fun parts of being a girlfriend without any of the perks.” The girl laughs, but Eddie remains still.
“I like her, Munson. You should keep her around.”
“You know, you never answered my question,” Eddie says, clearly desperate to change the subject.
“Huh? Oh, you mean about Lucas?”
Lucas. That was the friend that the boys bring up a lot. He’s a member of Hellfire but hasn’t been to any of the meetings.
“He’s probably still at the hospital with Max. Our parents tried to get him to come out tonight since my mom was the one who put this whole thing together. But…” The girl trails off, looking down at the ground as her attitude fades away. “You know, he still feels guilty. About…what happened.”
Eddie nods slowly. Max was another victim who got out alive like Eddie, but she’s been in a coma since March. Eddie doesn’t talk about her, even if the boys bring her up when talking about Lucas.
“Erica, come on!” One of the girls friend’s call, motioning her to join them.
Erica shifts back into her previous demeanor, looking at you and Eddie once again. “I gotta go. Nice seeing you, Munson and Munson’s girlfriend.” Before Eddie could correct her, she was taking off with her friends.
“Sorry,” Eddie says to you, but refusing to look your way.
“It’s fine. If anything I should be apologizing.” You plop back down in your folding chair with a huff. “Dustin said something earlier about our costumes being a couple’s costume and I’ve been cursing myself for over looking that.”
“Dustin would say something like that,” Eddie grumbles under his breath.
“They’re over here!” Dustin’s voice calls out from a few yards away, his Vader mask in his hand as he motions two people behind him. A guy and a girl dressed as Wham! follow an excited Dustin to your car.
“Speak of the devil,” Eddie says, slumping down in his chair. “And he’s brought his mommy.” You look at Eddie confused. The pair were definitely not old enough to be Dustin’s parents, maybe older siblings at best.
“Dustin, are you sure we’re at the right car?” The girl asks, shooting you a nervous smile.
“Yes, this is the right car. I literally came here in it,” Dustin shook his head and reached into his bag. After fumbling around a bit, he pulled out a full size milky way and presented it to Eddie.
“Snagged this for ya from the Martin’s car,” he said with a toothy grin. Eddie grabbed the candy and examined it and you could feel the smile he had from under his mask.
“Good work, Henderson,” Eddie says, looking up at the boy. Dustin salutes him before standing to the side, looking at the couple behind him with an I told you so expression.
“Holy shit,” the guy says, his law slack.
“Is that really you, M—” The girl cuts herself off before she can finish. The two move closer to Eddie, speaking in hushed tones.
“How’re you doing? Dustin told us that him and Mike have been over to your new place,” the girl asks. You don’t know why, but the way her hand rests on his shoulder irritates you.
“Yeah, he told us the lab set you up with a really nice house. Still not enough after what we all went through in my opinion..”
“Steve,” the girl cuts him off sharply.
“What? We haven’t seen the guy in six months! Am I not supposed to talk about it?”
“It’s fine, Robin,” Eddie says.
“It’s not fine,” you interject. All eyes are on you now, stunned as if they just noticed you were there.
“S-sorry, we didn’t mean to leave you out,” the girl stutters.
“Yeah, uh…” Steve looks you up and down before straightening his posture. “You must be the caretaker that Dustin’s told us about. Name’s Steve. Steve Harrington.”
Steve Harrington stands in front of you, offering his hand for you to shake. You take his hand and introduce yourself. Steve Harrington is handsome in a similar way to Sam you think.
The feeling of eyes on you makes you turn your head. The light catches just right you can sort of make out Eddie’s eyes through the holes of the mask.
“What did you say?” You ask, looking back up to Steve after zoning his question out.
“I just asked if you were free sometime. Maybe we could get a bite to eat before you go over to Eddie’s some time?”
“Oh, sorry,” the words poured out of you again. “But I’m seeing someone.”
You’re not sure if it’s just you, but it suddenly felt like the air got thicker. You could feel Eddie’s eyes bore holes into you, but you couldn’t bring yourself to look at him.
“Shit, my bad,” Steve says, taking a step back. “I thought Dustin said you two weren’t together.”
“We’re not,” Eddie says in a clipped tone.
“Yeah, we’re not, Eddie and I. I’m, uh, I’m seeing a guy from my school. Sam…”
“Ohhhh, okay,” Steve nods, “Gotcha. Well, if things don’t work out—OW!”
“Take a hint, dingus!” Robin whisper yells at Steve. She looks back to Eddie with an apologetic look. “We should probably go, but call one of us some time and we’ll sneak some movies to you, okay?”
Eddie wordlessly nods, his focus on the bowl of candy in his lap now. Steve and Robin give their goodbyes and move along, bickering between themselves as they go. Dustin lingers with you and Eddie for a moment, unsure of what to do with himself.
“Do, uh…"Dustin clears his throat, attempting to lighten the mood. "Do you guys want to go check out the fair at all?” Dustin points with his thumb over his shoulder. “There’s some pretty cool stuff at the back. A haunted house, some games…you know, fun stuff. I’ll, uh, sit and watch the candy.”
You look over to Eddie waiting for his response. After several moments Eddie finally nods, lifting the plastic bowl and handing it to Dustin. You rise from your seat, moving out of the way so Dustin to take your spot.
When you turn to see if Eddie is ready to go, you find that he’s not there. Instant panic sets in, as you look out to the crowd to find him. For a split second, you can see the furry hair on the back of his mask a few cars away. Bobbing and weaving through the clusters of people, you grab the handles of his chair and stop him, making him jerk forward.
He looks back, body tense until he realizes it’s you, his shoulders slumping forward.
“Where did you think you were going?” Anger evident in your tone.
“What do you mean? I thought you were right behind me.” The cutting tone of his voice hits a nerve.
“Eddie, I…” You can feel a whole lecture on the tip of your tongue. But the more you think about it, the more you realize that Eddie is his own person. As much as you’ve grown to want to protect him, he probably knows more about these fairgrounds and all of these people than you’ll ever know. He was a fully functioning person seven months ago, not needing anyone’s assistance just to get through a crowd of people.
“Do…do you want me to leave you alone?”
The two of you stand in the middle of the moving bodies without a word. It feels like the two of you are in slow motion as people move past you.
Eddie sits up, shaking his head. “No.”
That’s all you needed to hear. Grabbing onto the handles of his chair, you push him through the crowd at a leisurely pace. It takes a few minutes for hm to say something, but the paper mache ghost from Ghost Busters hanging off of a cars trunk catches his attention.
“Woah, that’s awesome!” Eddie points it out to you.
“Do you think they made that?”
“I bet they got it at a Halloween store.”
Conversation flowed like that between you as you both rated the cars out of 10 as you passed. There were more cars like yours that decorated just enough to be passable, but a good majority of the citizens of Hawkins really do mean business when it comes to Halloween.
“They made their car look like a dragon!” Eddie shouts over his shoulder to you. “How is that not the best car?!”
“It’s totally an awesome car, but, I’m sorry, the literal hearse with a guy dressed as Dracula in a coffin was hands down the best.”
Eddie slumps back in his chair in frustration, his mask looking up at you dramatically while you push him. You smile down at him, happy to see him having so much fun. He jerks forward and clears his throat, mask moving quickly as if he’s looking for something.
“Oh, look they’re selling popcorn,” Eddie nods to a booth set up off to the side of the cars. It looks like a girl scouts group of some kind, all the girls at the booth wearing patch covered sashes over their costumes. The sign on the booth read “Twenty-five cent popcorn. Proceeds go to Hawkins Rebuild Fund.”
“Hmmm,” you hum curiously. “We should get some. I could use something salty to cleanse my palate from all the candy.”
“Yeah, I think I might puke if I even think about a Reese’s Cup right now.”
You grab a bottle of water and a bag of popcorn to split between the two of you. Not wanting to stop your perusing of the cars, you continued on with Eddie popping a piece under his mask for him and then lifting a few pieces up to your mouth for you to much on.
Continuing on, you finally reach the back end of the fairgrounds. A few fires were going with groups of people gathered around. They talked over cider or roasted marshmallows to shove between graham crackers, adding their favorite candy pieces to complete their sweet treats.
A few games were set up. Kids and tipsy grown men bobbed for apples in a big trough of water. A partially enclosed area was set up for smaller kids and their exhausted parents to take a break away from the older kids.
But in the very back was a make shift haunted house, it’s entrance painted to look as if you were walking into a large jack o lantern. Around it were several tarps meant to cover whatever the haunted house was put together with, various paper decorations taped to it to make it look more festive.
“We should go in there,” Eddie says excitedly. “Wonder if it’s dark enough I can take this mask off for a bit.”
“I don’t know Eddie…” you say hesitantly. You weren’t the biggest fan of haunted houses. Being scared from a movie is one thing, but the lack of control you could have in a haunted house made you uncomfortable.
You also never knew what was going to set you off. The last haunted house you went to with Tonya and some friends in high school was set up to look like an actual house. It didn’t really bother you until one of the actors snuck up behind you, whispering in your ear. It immediately took you back to…
“Awe, come on. Don’t tell me you’re scared?” Eddie teases. “I doubt that Hawkins could make an actually scary haunted house. I bet they have one of those rooms where they make you feel peeled grapes and tell you that it’s eyeballs.”
“I’m not scared,” you say with a level tone, “I’m more worried about you. What if you have a night terror and end up needing me to sit at the end while you sleep tonight?”
Eddie freezes, his eyes wide and looking into yours through the holes in the mask. You feel like you said something wrong, but you’re not sure what.
“I-I’m sorry, I didn’t—”
Eddie starts to laugh, clearly trying to get a rise out of you. It both relieves and pisses you off.
“Eddie, you’re such an asshole! I thought I hurt your feelings!”
“You did, little red,” he feigns offense, his hands resting over his heart. “I can’t believe you would make fun of me. I’m wounded. How will you ever make it up to me?”
“Oh my god,” you say with exasperation. “I’m so sorry Mr.Wolf. I guess I can be brave and take you through the haunted house if that will suffice.”
Eddie fake sniffled and nods. “Yes, I think I may be able to forgive and forget your offense if you lend me your company inside this estate.”
The two of you get in line, chatting for the few minutes it takes to get to the front. When it’s finally your turn, the lanky teen at the door looked down at Eddie.
“Uh, be careful with your chair, man. Should be good, but, uh, there might be some bumps between the rooms. That alright?”
Eddie nods and the boy ushers the two of you inside. It looks like the haunted house might be made of several sheds or storage units placed together to make a long string of rooms. A lot of the rooms were more silly than scary, but a few people dressed in costumes were able to get some scares out of you and Eddie.
Well, you more than Eddie.
You hadn’t even realized that you were leaning so close to him. It was a reflex to bury your face against him when you got scared, laughing the whole time as you pushed on to the next room. He didn’t seem to mind, probably too busy laughing at your reactions to care.
You wondered if the actors were talking with each other, because it felt like more people were trying to scare you the further into the haunt you went. By the end you were practically strangling Eddie, your arms wrapped around his shoulders  with your face against the back of his neck as he guided you both through the exit that exited to the other side of the fairground lot.
“They were so mean!” The words came out in strained huffs as you tried to catch your breath, still laughing from all the nerves. Eddie probably would have been keeled over with how hard he was cackling. He lifted his mask briefly to wipe the tears from his eyes, his hair sticking to his forehead with how much he was sweating under the plastic.
“Holy shit,” he barks out. “That was sooooo worth it. I want to see how bad you get scared in a haunted house that’s actually scary.”
“I can’t believe you’d want to put me through that after everything I’ve done for you,” you say with faux offense.
“Can’t help it,” he says with a shrug, “I guess I’m a bit of a sadist.”
“Hmmm why does that not at all surprise me.”

The rest of the night went on without a hitch. The guys showed up again eventually, making base between yours and Hopper’s car to trade candy. Jane told you that she got lots of compliments on her costume and thanked you over and over for helping her with her make up. Joyce took the opportunity to get everyone together to take pictures. Apparently Will’s older brother, Jonathan, left one of his cameras with them to take pictures while he’s off at college and Joyce took that task very seriously.
“Let me get one with the two of you!” She says to you and Eddie. Eddie looks at you and you shrug.
“Do you want to lean on me?” You ask him.
“What do you mean?”
“So you can have a picture not in your chair. I can hold you up--oh we can make it look like you’re trying to eat me?”
Eddie stands, leaning against you as you have your arms around him in a tight hug. Joyce takes a few steps forward to get his chair out of frame, giving you both the go ahead to make a pose. Eddie lets go of you, posing with his hands as if he was about to grab you, the mouth of his mask about an inch from your face. You hold on to him with one arm, letting him lean into you as you let your other hand fly back with fake terror.
The bright flash from the camera has you grabbing Eddie fully once again. You were able to feel his leg wobbling, still not used to holding up his whole weight. Eddie plopped back into his chair, letting out the breath he had been holding.
After a while the festivities began to wind down as cars started making their exit. When Eddie’s back started to hurt from being in his chair for so long, you decided to join the rest of the crowd and leave. Dustin helped load Eddie up in the car as you cleaned up any mess that had been made.
“Dustin, why don’t you ride with us?” Joyce calls over from their car. “Eddie’s probably tired and ready to get home. You’re staying at the Wheeler’s anyway, right?”
Dustin looks at Eddie, whose mask was up enough to let his face breathe, to you, who looked like you were ready to climb into bed and pass out. Gears turned under those tight curls. A vision of the two of you “accidentally” falling asleep in each others arms on the couch and waking up all embarrassed, until you inevitably confess your feelings for each other and get married and grow old together was clear as day in his mind.
“Yeah, sounds good. Thanks Mrs.B.”
Tumblr media
“Do you even want to attempt a shower?” You ask Eddie with a yawn, eyeing his devil faced pumpkin that the two of you carved that sits next to the front door.
“I feel gross after sweating in that mask,” he yawns in reaction to your yawn, fumbling to get his keys in the lock. “But, honestly, I’ll probably fall asleep sitting in there.”
Eddie pushed the door open, and wheels inside. You can barely get a foot in the front door when Eddie stops abruptly. You follow his gaze to the couch, and are surprised to see Ben leaning against Wayne. His head rests on Wayne’s shoulder, Wayne’s bald head lays against Ben’s head as the two of them snore intermittently.
Eddie turns slowly back towards you with wide eyes. You place your finger against your lips, giving him a silent shush as you slowly maneuver his chair to his room. Eddie doesn’t say a word, even after you close the door to his room. He’s as pale as a ghost, still looking as you as if he was waiting for you do to…something.
“What’s wrong?” You ask him, and he flinches. He finally blinks when he realizes that you’re not going to say anything, tension leaving his body until he’s visibly exhausted.
“Nothing, I just…ugh I really need to shower. But I’m so tired.” He sprawls out in his chair, hands running over his face and through his matter hair. The icky feeling of being outside and around people begins to make your skin crawl, too, as you feel a shower calling your name.
“Well, the longer we wait, the more tired you’re going to be. Let’s get you in there so I can go home and take one, too.” Eddie perks up, looking at you with knitted brows.
“You’re not staying the night?”
“Well, my sleeping spot is currently being occupied,” you say with a cheeky grin, nodding toward the living room.
Eddie presses his lips together, deep in thought as he tries to come up with an solution so you don’t have to make the 30 minute trek home.
“You could…sleep in my bed? I could sleep in Wayne’s room. If the love birds wake up, they’ll just have to deal with it.”
Thinking about sleeping in Eddie’s bed makes your chest flutter in a way that you hate. Well, rather, you want to hate it. But you really don’t. The idea of being in his bed with him penetrates your mind, and you think of anything else to push it away. Like how you’d finally told him about Sam earlier in the night. You still needed to psycho analyze his reaction to the news, which was how you usually passed the time in the car.
“I’ll think about it.” Eddie nods, accepting that as your answer for now.
You set up the shower for Eddie, hardly a word between the two of you with the combined low energy. You quietly snuck Eddie’s dirty clothes into the laundry room as he showered, taking a few minutes to pick up the kitchen in hopes to lessen the work load for Wayne tomorrow.
When you returned to the shower, Eddie had just turned off the water. He was humming a song to himself, probably to keep himself awake as he went through the motions of his shower.
He pulled the curtain open, and slowly blinked at you. You understood his message, taking the few steps to stand beside him. You went through your drying routine, getting his back and gently squeezing and scrunching his curls in a towel to dry them. There was no way he would be able to blow dry them tonight so you just took your time getting them as dry as possible. Eddie would start to doze off until the resistance of his hair pulling would wake him again.
The two of you got into position for Eddie to stand and pivot into the chair. You held on to him, and he held onto his towel, waiting for your count to stand. A quiet one, two, three had him pushing off of the shower seat with his leg.
But he was still tired, and he began to lose his balance. One hand shot to hold your arm, and the other grabbed the bar attached to the wall. You felt his body starting to go down and reflexively turned him towards his chair. His grip on the wall threw you off, causing you to fall into him when he finally let go and landed in his chair.
You braced yourself against the arm rests as the floor was slick under you. The top half of your body was pressed into his, mimicking the closeness of an hug. When you went to pull away, you felt his grip on your arm tighten.
“Don’t move.” He says next to your ear.
“What?”
“My towel fell.”
You snort, resting your forehead against his shoulder, wet curls pressing into your skin. “Why do you have such a hard time keeping a towel on?”
Ever since the first shower where he almost lost his towel, at least once a week his towel seems to find its way out of Eddie’s hands and onto the floor.
To Eddie’s defense, it was hard for him to maintain his grip, and you couldn’t hold him up and keep his towel in place, so it was something you’d become accustomed to. If he could feel his towel slipping Eddie would usually give you a heads up so you could keep your eyes above belt level.
After a beat you can feel Eddie’s smile against your cheek. “Only around you,” he says with a sarcastic tone. You suck in a breath, and hope he can’t feel the heat that rises to your cheeks at his playful comment.
“I’m starting to think you do it on purpose.”
Eddie shakes his head. “If you close your eyes and move, I can reach the towel myself.”
“Okay,” you say, positioning your feet so you can stand up straight.
As you move your foot back, it bumps against something and catches you off guard. Reflexively, you open your eyes to look back and move your foot accordingly. Once you find your footing again, you shift to face forward once again. But, in your sleepy haze, you forget a crucial move; closing your eyes again.
Still looking down, your eyes manage to land directly where they’re not supposed to.
It was like a car crash. You knew you shouldn’t gawk, but the site of Eddie’s dick as it lay against his leg had you frozen in place. It was long, reaching half way down his hairy thigh, and thick. What made it worse was that he looked half hard; whether on it’s way to full mast or starting to soften you couldn’t be certain.
Suddenly you became very aware at how revealing your costume was and how close your body had just been against his. Hell, you’d been touching and leaning against each other all night. Was he like this because of you? Surely not. You scold yourself for even thinking about it.
Regaining your composure, you push away from his chair and get your footing. You snap your eyes closed so quickly, hoping that he didn’t notice that you were looking. It felt like you had been staring for an eternity, the image of it seemingly tattooed into your corneas even as your eyes were closed, but in reality it was no more than a second.
Even if you had seen it, you’d assured him plenty of times before that it wouldn’t be the first dick you’ve ever seen and it wouldn’t be the last with the field of work you were going into. But you also respected his privacy, maybe understanding a little more as to why he didn’t want you to see. If he said anything, you wouldn't make a big deal about it.
“Okay, you’re in the clear,” he says, his voice not giving any hint to if he knows what you saw. You open your eyes as he’s backing away and back into his room to get dressed, leaving you to clean up. Which you do quietly, willing Eddie’s dick out of your mind but failing as you pick up.
By the time you joined him in his bedroom, he was still in his chair, fully dressed and his head nodding forward as he tried to fight off sleep.
“Ready to get in bed?” You ask him in a low voice so not to startle him.
He looks up at you drowsily, “Are you gonna stay the night?” You shake your head and his pouts up at you.
“I’m sorry, Eddie. I’ll be okay getting home. I’m…feeling very awake now.”
And you head plenty to think about on the drive home. It didn’t feel long enough to analyze everything, your thoughts spilling over as you stare up at your ceiling fan in bed.

you shouldn’t be here. you didn’t like parties in the first place. it was your boyfriend that had convinced you that you deserved a night out after a successful homecoming at hawkins high. it had been a long busy week for all the students and apparently now it was time to “let loose”. there were parties being hosted everywhere throughout the small town but the real rager was being thrown at steve harrington’s. anyone who knew someone, who knew steve, got in. it was why you had an invite.
you yourself didn’t know steve much, but you had been a victim of his long time best friend, eddie munson. that awful man doubled as your sworn enemy.
class of ‘86 had grown up together from pre-k to senior year. eddie had always been a year ahead of you until recently when he was held back. you dreaded that he had been pulled from graduating. the first three years of your high school career the asshole would pick on you. you thought you would’ve been free by now but you had underestimated his laziness and his determination to make every day for you living hell. you hated eddie munson. you hated how he treated you and his peers, how loud he was, how confident, you despised him. you couldn’t believe you still had an entire semester to go. and in the spring? you would be required to walk the same gradation stage as him.
his sadistic personality towards you was awful. each of his actions had become a blur but you loathed the recurring events the most. between classes he would slam your locker shut in your face just to hear you let out a pathetic whine at him. he’d pick on you at lunch time by pulling you to the side and saying the most vulgar things in your ear. after a few sentences you would lose your appetite and he’d steal your lunch. always casually walking away with a statement of “love that i can count on you, babe”. in shared classes he would steal your answers or convince you to let him borrow your notes (only because he needed to copy them for a test).
besides the thought of his looming presence, the party was grand. there were jocks running up and down the stairs with paint on their bare chest, girls were on the kitchen counter letting strangers do body shots off of them, trashy red solo cups littered the halls, and you heard someone announce that ‘king steve’ was about to take on an entire keg by himself. grand it was, the environment was still to busy for you. further deducting you to someone who absolutely did not like parties. to make things worse the taste of liquor on your tongue wasn’t muffling the impact of the overstimulation one bit.
you took another shot before you moved to the back door of steve’s home. you made an exit hoping to catch some fresh november air. regain your composure before going back inside to bum a ride off of anyone. your boyfriend had been missing in action for over an hour. pulling open the door gave you a sense of relief, as you pushed it shut the sounds of the crowd muffled. you took a step out onto the grass. it helped that this new environment was quiet, better yet, it lessened the chances of bumping into eddie.
so you thought.
you should’ve known you would’ve found him there. eddie wasn’t a fan of parties either due to his social class. he was sitting under a tree across the yard with a freshly lit joint in his mouth. you watched him from a few feet away. his sudden presence had made you wish to turn and run from him. he lifted his head slightly at you and gave you a sick grin. you could only stare. it was just the two of you in the dark yard. how reserved you both were from the rest of the student body made chills run up your spine. rumors weren’t sparse when it came to the devilish boy and he was always such an asshole to you at school. because of his behavior, a feeling of dread always sat at the bottom of your stomach. you couldn’t help but wonder if what you overheard was true. you had to face that reality being alone with him. part of you grew excited at the thought of being able to lash out at him now that he didn’t have his friends or a crowd of onlookers to perform for. the idea of giving him a taste of his own medicine pumping adrenaline through your body.
he grinned like a cheshire cat. his eyes sparkled at you under the moonlight. eddie continued playing with the joint between his teeth, rolling it with his tongue every once in a while. “what are you doin’ out here, sweetheart?” he laughed at you. “get lost looking for someone..?” he paused, “or were you looking for some trouble”. the lighter he must’ve used to light his smoke was dancing between his fingers. light from the moon was reflecting off of the silver as it sparkled. the object looked so small in his big hands.
you were quiet on your feet as you walked closer. you watched as the once seated tall dark figure moved to stand. he was just a shadow when you spotted him from the backdoor but as he moved the light of the house illuminated him. it wasn’t on purpose that you found him, it was more like fate. your curiosity urged you to find out what he was doing at the far end of the backyard. your mind raced as you began to think of what to say to him while you both slowly inched closer. before you even had time to think he was in front of you. he crossed his arms and snapped his lighter shut. you jumped. the action made him chuckle at you. the sound was low and from the depths of his chest. he puffed out his chest.
you puffed your chest back and glared at his nonverbal teasing. you thought you had caught a glimpse of nervousness on his face at your actions but that couldn’t be true. the two of you stared at each other for a bit. you couldn’t tell because of his hard exterior but eddie’s heart began to race. he had been drinking throughout the night too and being intoxicated always made his brain a little hazy. “hi, eddie”, you barked at him.
he liked the way you said his name in that tone. it was why he always pried and picked on you. you noticed his suggestive glance as he looked you up and down. a predatorial glint was swimming in his eyes. he wouldn’t ever admit it but he was hoping he would see you tonight, and god he was so glad the stars aligned. you were wearing a cute outfit. a swallowing brown patterned sweater on your frame, and hip hugging blue wide cut jeans. a jacket that was lined with fleece to keep you warm sat rested on your shoulders while your big boots tied the look together. eddie never understood what came over him when you were around but it was almost like you boosted his testosterone levels. the need to have dominance over you was astounding. he felt overly confident.
his adrenaline mixing with the alcohol in his body was dangerous.
“hi, pretty girl..” eddie bent slightly down to your eye level with his words. as he moved he puffed smoke out of the corner of his lip at you. you swatted it out of your face and coughed away from his direction to shield your embarrassment. after you had regained your posture you looked up to find the man leaning over your frame and laughing.
“hey!” you jabbed him in the chest with your finger to warn him to back up. he didn’t move an inch. “you’re such an ass, eddie. i wasn’t going to run away from you and give you the satisfaction this time. i wanted to be nice”. he giggled, “oh, baby i'm so so sooo sorry i’ve ruined your plans of being nice to me” he teased. “you wanna start over, doll? we can try again. promise ill be good for ya this time”. he smiled stupidly while standing up straight and waiting for your next greeting. his irises were dark and shielded by his eyelashes as he stared.
“i.. what are you doing out here?” you questioned him instead of offering a greeting like he thought you would. “oh, now you’re interrogating me? can i remind you that you were the one that walked out here and to me? i didn’t even have to whistle you over here”. he said the last statement as if you were some pet to him. “no, i'm not interrogating you, eddie. unless there’s something you shouldn’t be doing out h-...”, your words slowly died on your tongue as he raised an eyebrow and pulled the lit joint away from his damp lips. he laughed at your speechlessness, your body tensed.
“mhm”, he let the lit smoke fall to his side as his fingers pinched it tight. “wanna know a secret?” you slightly nodded. “i think you wandered out here to me because you’re nosey… you wanna know what the town's misfit gets up to when he’s not picking on his favorite girl, baby?” he gave you a wolfish smirk. you sent him a death stare at his gross pet names. “oh, don’t look at me like that, you know i love when you’re all pouty for me..” eddie lifted his hand to take his third or fourth drag of the night.
“god, you’re so gross. i'm so glad i won't have to hear your stupid insults when you leave next semester..” you tone was a whisper though you meant it. eddie acted overly insulted. “oww, words hurt, you know? it’s really rude to say something like that to someone that’s been such a constant in your life”, he smiled. you pushed a flat palm into his chest with as much force as you could muster. “oh so it’s fine for you to call me names?? but as soon as i do it your act crumbles?” you knew he was being sarcastic with his comment but it set you off, you continued, “i hear it almost everyday, ‘baby’, ‘sweetheart’, ‘doll’, and what about your favorites huh? ‘whore’, ‘slut’. what about those words, eddie?” each vowel you said was a blow to his chest. he stepped back from you but not before he grabbed your wrist to stop your assaults. he pulled you into a close proximity with his burning grip.
eddie had subtly and secretly pulled his hand holding his joint away from you, careful not to inflict a burn on your delicate skin. he would hate himself if he caused an accident like that but he didn't let his tenderness for you shine through his knives of assertion. “hey! you watch it!”, eddie growled at you. his tone almost shut your body down. you could tell he was mad now. “i only call you a whore because you deserve it. always fucking sucking face with your piece of shit boyfriend. i think you need the judgment. maybe if i keep it up i’ll see it less and less, hmm?” you cowered under his gaze and trembled in his grip. “oh i know why you came to find me now, you wanted to get me alone so you could take it all out on me didn’t you? wanted to give me a taste of my own medicine”. eddie read your mind. his grip loosened on you but you didn’t dare move. “whatever … an- and.. he can’t fucking kiss you anyways, such a slob with you”. he mumbles.
eddie didn’t elaborate his statement but he let it linger. it hung in the air over the both of you as he glanced at your lips. you caught him but he didn’t care, he studied them. they were damp with your hot breaths in the cold, almost winter air. he was breathing in what you were exhaling. he could smell your pretty perfume and shampoo. you felt your heart begin to race and your cheeks heated up the space between your bodies. he couldn’t shy away from his own doing the same. you wiggled against him to shift your body weight onto your other foot. he didn’t like your struggle. you felt him move his own feet with yours, eddie’s big boots boxing you in even more. you felt his hard metal belt buckle dig into the side of your hip. his cuff of his leather jacket was cold on the exposed skin of your wrist he continued to hold.
eddie smiled childishly at you. the new expression was something you hadn’t seen from him before. you moved your chin down to avoid his stare but as you pulled away, he just as easily let your wrist go and instead gripped your chin. with his thumb and pointer finger he held you. you fought to keep your eyes away from him to the best of your ability. eddie huffed, he pinched your face harder. “look at me”, as soon as you did you wished you hadn’t. his look was determined and sultry. his bangs framed his face messily. you had never been this close and his features were easy to get lost in. he was pretty, which was such a huge inconvenience for you to realize now that you were alone, it was dark, and he was this close. “don’t go shy on me after having that burst of attitude. c’mon you wanna give it to me? then give it to me, baby”.
your thoughts raced back to your boyfriend. you shouldn’t have been talking with eddie like this. you pulled away from him and turned your head back to the sliding glass doors of steve’s house. they looked so far away. when you looked back at eddie your eyes were wide. you noticed his tongue twirling the joint between his lips. waiting for a response from you. you dared to indulge. his gaze fell to your lips again. his cheeks burned red when he felt your stomach slightly bumping into his own. you stole a look at his lips like he had moments ago. you watched him nervously wet his lips. your cheeks blushed even deeper. eddie smirked at you and tested the waters of your new expression. he stuck out his tongue further and licked his sharpest canine tooth. you were mesmerized.
your stomach flipped. you wondered what he was thinking. “what do you know about kissing?” you blurted out without thinking. eddie coo’d at you “i know far more than your stupid boyfriend, i guarantee it.” eddie said with confidence. he crossed his hands over his chest, now that space was granted between you. you mirrored his actions and your forearms grazed his. you shrugged his suggestive gesture off. you were certain he was just bluffing. his rough exterior surely scared any girls he tried to smooth talk away, as he had tried many times with you.
but now you weren’t scared, now you were looking to pick a fight. you decided to ignore his comment about his kissing skills to avoid yourself from growing more hot. this conversation could easily take a more suggestive turn if you urged him on, and you weren’t going to let him win the stand off. you wracked your brain for ways to shut him down before speaking again. your next sentence tried to change the subject, but it definitely fell short.
“you’re right. he’s a shit kisser, but that’s none of your business and you don’t have to be mean about it.” the drinks you had doubled as truth serum. he whined pathetically at you, “wasn’t trying to be mean. if anything you’re being mean to me for a change.” you frowned, “seriously?”. “yeah, you told me i'm ‘such an ass’ and then started hitting me.. don’t think i deserved that. you’re so cold hearted, you know?” he giggled.
the playful banter you shared made you both smile. the absurdity of your dynamic was so dramatic. the buzz was hitting your system hard and he was right there with you. you watched eddie as he bent down at the waist to grab his almost empty beer off of the ground. he must’ve been babysitting that while outside by himself. when he raised back up he tilted his head back and drank the rest of the can. you watched his adam’s apple bob up and down while he chugged the golden liquid. a bit fell from the corner of his lips and down his throat. you watched as it dripped down to his shirt collar. when you reached the edge of the garment you noticed a tear. under the rip was his sharp collar bones. his pale skin contrasted against the darkness. you noticed a dark inky black line through the split of the aged t-shirt. it peeked at you. when he was done eddie dropped the can.
when he connected your eyes to his quicker than you could register, eddie noticed you watching him intently. the fresh liquor in his system gave him another boost of confidence. he stepped to you. the distance between you two closed just mere inches between your bodies in a now comfortable silence. his frame was large, his body casted a shadow that consumed you. you had always thought there wasn’t much of a height difference between you two, but now you weren’t as sure. no matter the inches and centimeters you tried to think about, the numbers didn't help to busy your brain. you knew even if there was a large difference, eddie was sure to make you feel small under him in anyway. that's how it has been your entire life.
you watched his left hand raise between your bodies and to his lips. still holding onto his darling joint. he submitted to placing it once again between his teeth. the hot cherry on the end was slowly dying because of the icy outdoors. you blushed as he caught you stealing another glance at his lips. you seemed so intrigued by him now, not angry or upset. eddie realized you weren’t just looking at his lips for no reason. the tension he craved was there. the tension he thought he would never be a witness to snap. he was always so desperate for you to see how badly he wanted your attention but it was hard for him to express his feelings and he knew it was even harder for you to catch onto his rude ass behavior translating to him flirting. he didn’t blame you for hating him after all these years, he hated himself for it.
your attentiveness caused his body to ignite. you wanted something more now, and he so desperately wanted to provide anything to you. he wished he could read your mind to know what you were thinking. his eye contact didn’t budge from yours as he slowly pulled his lighter back out of his pocket. when his fingers couldn’t quite grab a hold of it his eyes trailed away from yours and down to his jeans.
“fuck.” he grunted.
you felt frozen. the vulgar word was said in just a breathy whisper, it gave you goosebumps. not in a bad way like before, just different. he grabbed his lighter and put it between the two of you. his tone was gentler because of how close he was. making sure that you would know he wasn’t directing the term towards you and instead the inconvenience his overly tight pants were causing him.  his hot breath brushed over the sparked flame putting it out and in its path you felt it on your cheek. he clumsily tried to light it again.
after the constant spin of the wheel and the strain of his hands, his actions snapped you out of your daze. when you realized he was trying to spark a flame. you let out a sweet giggle. eddie looked at you before watching you take the lighter away from him. he gave you a glare while you continued to laugh at him softly. it was directed at him but he didn’t feel spiteful like he usually did when people laughed at him. eddie craved to have you laugh at him, craved to be the sole reason he heard that sound fall from your lips.
he was so soaked up in each of your expression  as you moved in front of him with his lighter in your hands. eddie left out a small grunt when his fingers lightly brushed against yours. he wouldn’t have caught it himself if you hadn’t pointed it out, “stop whining, let me help you”. he willingly let you take it into your hands. he was quite possessive over his belongings so him letting you just snag his lighter was a very big deal to him. the contact of your hands made shivers go down his spine.
his hands were warm compared to yours. the only contrast was his cold rings. in one motion your small thumb sparked the flame of the lighter. he looked back up and your eyes met once again. eddie motioned his hand to take it away from you as he nodded appreciatively, but gave you a confused look when you wouldn’t give it back. you swatted his hands away. you held the lighter in your right hand. the flame burned. you moved your vacant left hand onto his lips slowly. your palm touched the bottom of his chin while your cold fingers pinched the joint out of his mouth. your fingers lingered on his lips longer than they should have.
in an instant eddie’s confidence shattered. he let your motions continue as he was stuck watching you. his cheeks burned a brighter red then the flame. you gave him a smirk as you placed his joint between your lips. successfully stealing it from him. you tasted eddie, the damp end was sweet but there was a touch of beer that laced the end of it. your hands cupped the flame while relighting the smoke for him.
you snapped the zippo shut. his jaw dropped.
eddie watched you spark a bright red cherry between your lips with your lungs. you inhaled the smoke easily, and pulled it away from your lips. eddie turned away from you to avoid your eyes, he was flustered. his jeans tightened around his groin. he tried to not think about your soft, plush, lips that stole his joint. he felt you pull his chin back to face you with your index and thumb, just like he had previously. your hand on his face startled him, your touch was cold. he almost let a sigh leave his chest, but he held it back. you moved in just a bit closer before a big cloud of smoke left your throat and puffed into eddie’s face. the boy began coughing while you laughed. when the cloud cleared you noticed eddie hadn’t really moved away from where he stood. he liked how close he was. you pulled the joint away from your mouth while looking into his eyes. you spoke in a sultry whisper, eddie barely heard you.
“you know, you really shouldn’t be smoking these. kills your brain cells.” you said softly. “oh, yeah? and what do you know about smoking?” he teased. “far more than you’d imagine, munson. I guarantee it.” you mocked his earlier jab at you about your boyfriend.
your comment reminded eddie of the conversation you previously shared. he gulped, lost in thought while he watched your hand raise back up to your face. you inhaled deeply, the musky taste of the plant covered your tastebuds. when you exhaled you turned your face away from him. eddie was in a daze. his eyes trailed up and down your features. you turned your face back to his, luckily you didn’t catch him that time, he would’ve died of embarrassment. your faces were a little more than inches apart.
he wished he could have the strength to get closer. to really close the distance. this wasn’t like him. he never dared to come onto you intimately, scared of rejection, and he definitely never expected you to have the courage to stay so near. after he had been tearing you down for years it was surprising. he always knew you were strong willed but this was another level. he didn’t know if you wanted to get to know this eddie munson. the eddie he hid from everyone, the eddie that he acted like a hardhead because he had to. now he couldn’t be mean as he melted at your soft gaze. the poor boy had imagined what he would do if he ever ended up in a position like this with you. on several occasions it was after a long week of classes, in his own bed with his hand between his sweaty thighs.
his blissful stare gave you the confidence to speak again. you had no clue what came over you but you decided to be alluding. it could’ve been the mood that you two found yourselves wrapped up in. or the unspoken tension. you knew this was bad. your boyfriend that hated eddie more than you was only ten or so feet away, partying in the house behind you. you weren’t the only victim to his constant bullying and degrading speech. and in the stance you were both in if anyone caught you it could be horrific.
you threw your cares to the wind and continued.
“i like smoking. keeps my mouth busy.” you whispered looking at his lips and taking a puff. eddie paused. all of the blood in his body rushed south. you watched him try to gather himself. his stomach was in knots at your words. he almost short circuited when he realized you were being even more suggestive than before. you were blatantly flirting with him. a growl left his throat. his head lolled to the side. his neck was exposed again.
your eyes traced his neck with curiosity. you wondered if he was sensitive there. what it would be like to lick your tongue up and down the veins bulging out. he looked down at his hands to avoid your glance. you eyes followed. you watched him clench his fist till his knuckles went white. his sparkly rings glistened under the light the moon supplied. he quickly shoved his hands in his pockets. fighting the urge to reach out and grab you. that's when you saw how his already bulge hugging jeans were swollen. you averted your gaze embarrassingly. you didn’t know he was this easy to get worked up. when you looked back up at him. his shoulders trembled and he let out a deep breath. the whites of his eyes glowing as he closes off more distance between you and him. his voice was drawn out in a low mumble, almost strained. his whispered in the vicinity of your ear. chills rushed down your spine as his grunts made your tummy turn.
“you’re fucking killing me, sweetheart”, he almost moaned. “i bet i could keep your pretty mouth busy all night. even better than your boyfriend”. eddie coo’d. “...you think I'm supposed to believe you know a lot about girls and their mouths, munson?” you mumbled around the smoke. “i’d love it if you’d let me show you…” he paused for a brief moment.
eddie moved his right hand and opened his palm to touch you. his fingers wrapped around to your jawline. his hand was massive when it fully surrounded your face. his touch was slow and deliberate. his rings were cold, the metal almost stung your face. his fingers danced across your features with purpose. eddie’s thumb touched the bottom of your face. your movements followed his direction. his index finger met your top lip and his middle tugged on the corner of your mouth. your lips stayed closed anticipating his next move before you realized he was pinching the smoke out of your mouth just like you had done to him moments ago. you were stunned.
eddie was tugging at the joint with his delicate fingers. he giggled at how easy you were, but before letting go of the joint with your lips you stared up at him with your eyes. he watched you intently. your cheeks went hollow as you sucked on it and inhaled one more hit. eddie had never been so jealous of a joint in his life. you watched eddie’s eyes slowly roll into the back of his head at your actions before he closed them. he shamelessly moaned. your chest tightened at the noise. the cherry of the joint burned a bright red as he released it from you.
eddie rushed to inhale the remnants of your taste with his own hit. you both had reached the last of it. he turned his head away kindly to exhale the smoke but his eyes stayed fixed on you and your lips. his fingers flicked the ash of the smoke onto the ground and stopped it out. your eyes sparkled at him. you hummed a soft note innocently before he reached his hand back up to your face. his grip was stronger this time, like how it had been when he was mad at you. eddie moved his fingers from your cheek to the bottom of your lip rudely. his thumb pulled at your bottom lip. you drooled onto his fingers as he blew smoke into your throat.
he exhaled, you inhaled.
it tasted like eddie. he felt your spit on his fingertips before he released you. your bottom lip wetly snapped back in place as he dragged his thumb downwards. his eyes stayed fixed on your plump slobbery lips as his irises burned with the smoke rising. he could think of thousands of things he wanted to do to you and your pretty face. his fingers remained on your chin. holding your face towards him.
“oh, you're gonna get me in a lot of trouble. i just know it.” he purred. “why’s that?” you questioned.“...don’t tell me you forgot about your boyfriend already, baby?” he paused.
you heart stopped. the way he called you baby now made your thighs clench together. he smirked as your cheeks glowed red. the strain you two had been sharing always calmed eddie down. it seemed to have the opposite effect on you. all your senses were heightened as it buzzed in your body. your mind was on overdrive. you wanted eddie bad. but as quick as you realized you needed him his hand left your chin. the touch lingered. it was electric. you lost yourself in the moment. your eye’s closed before you let out another soft hum and giggle. the strain turning all your nervousness into making you loopy. eddie raised his eyebrow at you, questioning your motives. you realized you hadn’t answered him.
“y– yeah. you’re uhm…”, a pause, “right. i should get back to him. don’t want him finding out about this.” you whimpered. “uh-huh, that's right, baby”. eddie laughed at you.
your body stayed still. he brushed some of your hair out of your face to get one last look at you. the quick movement brought you back down to earth. he stared, no, began glaring into your eyes as you looked at him with a fucked out expression. he was leering at the sight of you. his gaze was filthy. you gasped as he experimentally traced his fingers on your skin. his touch started at your lips where he had played before, but he didn’t stop there. he moved his big heavy hand down to your jawline, and then your neck, and onto the collar of your sweater. his touch barely danced on your skin. he listened as you whimpered when he moved one finger down the center of your chest and then it was snuggled onto your hip.
his grip was needy and harsh. it resembled how your lousy boyfriend would paw at your hips when he wanted something from you. the difference was your body willingly moved with eddie’s grip. you were basically throwing yourself at him. his hand moved under your sweater. his touch was cold on your warm sides. half of his hand stayed fixed on your skin, the other on the waistband of your cute jeans. he didn’t want to seem too eager, but his grip was tight and aggressive. he pulled you into his chest by your waist and your arm gripped onto his big shoulder that was guarded by his leather jacket. his head was almost buried in your neck at the soft sudden embrace he whispered in your ear.
“you should really get back to him. i think it would be better for both of us if i left. what do you think?” he whispered. you couldn’t think. the only thing that was on your mind was eddie and how he was holding you. he infiltrated your thoughts. you arm tightened around his frame. physically begging him to keep you here. he listened to you whimper into his chest at his question. you felt his jeans tighten on your thigh. he whispered into your ear again,
“fuckkk, sweetheart… you making those pretty sounds for me? barely even touched you”, he teased. things were moving too fast. you slowly broke away from his grasp to ground yourself. he looked down at you with consolidating eyes. if this continued on you wouldn’t know what could come of it. you both weren’t very sober either. your cheeks were almost purple as you looked up at him with a hazy stare. he smiled. you just nodded. scared of what you might say next.
he figured you pulling away was his cue to leave, so he started to walk back towards the house. the foot of distance that was put between you two helped cut the tension. you couldn’t tell but under his skin he was a mess. eddie was secretly glad that he had a few too many drinks and a joint. he wouldn’t have been able to face you like that otherwise. he heard you let out a small sigh with your exhale. your hand that was holding him fell to your side.
truthfully he tried walking away. but he felt your eyes watching his back and the idea of moving forward without acting on his fantasies was enough for him to suddenly still. your eyes followed his movements as he turned around. the next actions were fast. his big arm moved past your head and grabbed the back of it. with you in his control it allowed his other hand to wrap around your throat and constrict. the feeling of the tingles caused by the weed mixed with the overstimulation from his touch made you delusional. he listened to you whimpering in fear as he imposed on your personal space again. he let out a devilish chuckle. he opened his mouth slowly to say his next words. they came quickly but you spoke before he could.
“you’re s–” he was cut off. “do you want to kiss me?” you choked out.
eddie paused, the soft question seemed so innocent. he knew that if he did kiss you he wouldn’t be able to stop himself soon after. it would be long and messy. he also couldn’t promise that he could fight off the urge to do more to you. he put some reasoning into his own head. it was totally irresponsible to kiss you right now. you both were standing in a vast open yard, intoxicated, and not in the best headspace. it was the drugs and liquor talking, not you, no way you wanted this. he had to shamefully admit, if he was gonna kiss you and make it count now would be the best moment.
he felt his cock stiffen as he watched you purse your lips. his mind wandered to how you would feel wrapped around him like that with a pretty pout and puff kissed lips. he wanted to know what you would do if he pushed you up against his body and embraced you fully. he wanted to sloppily lick up and down your neck and hear the noises he could spawn from your throat. his eyes consumed your mouth as he processed what his next move would be. he had thought about this moment just hours before steve’s party. your eyes looked so sparkly as a blush crawled up your neck and onto your cheek bones as you waited for his answer. you wet your lips with your tongue. knots were in his stomach.
he grunted, “shit.. it doesn’t matter how bad i wanna kiss you”, he paused, “and it doesn’t matter that i think you're the prettiest girl i’ve ever seen. this wouldn’t work. i’ve been such a dick to you. you deserve better than someone like me”. you thought that was funny coming from him considering how much eddie hated your boyfriend.
his eyes continued watching the mouth he desperately wanted to kiss before you started to speak. “tha-..”, he glared at you before raising his index finger onto your lips. he applied a little pressure. he watched as they pushed out and around his finger. he smirked while shushing you. he thought back to how you looked with your cheeks hollowed out sucking on his joint again. his soft hands felt so good on your face. you weren’t going to fight him on this, you never wanted this moment to end.
before you could stop yourself your lips opened slightly, inviting him in to play with your tongue. he groaned as he felt you kitten lick his finger gently. he didn’t pull away. his dick was sore with how much you two had been teasing each other back and forth. he fought every urge to shove his index down your throat to really feel it. he continued talking to you. his tone was mean and messy, laced with dominance. you loved this eddie, you didn’t care that he was mean.
“.. shhh… you really do love keeping that mouth busy don't you…”, he teased, “i was right about you being a little whore..  hmm?” eddie raised his eyebrow at you. pulling his wet finger back onto your lips. he played with your top and bottom lip slowly before he adjusted his hand. his thumb was pushing at your bottom lip, testing if you were gonna welcome the other digit into your mouth. you stuck your tongue out fully at him. he placed the pad of his finger onto the wet warm muscle and you took it into your mouth. you looked at him with eyes that put him in a trance. you were successfully distracting him from pulling away from you. he tasted like all the things you loved about a man, but it was uniquely eddie. warm, salty, and a hint of beer he must’ve spilled on his hand earlier. sucking on him slowly he moaned.
“oh. fuck. me.” whining between words. he watched you for a second before trying to speak again. “do you… do you really want this as bad as i do?” his face was so close. you watched his chest rise and fall as his breath invaded your space. you smelled the musky combination of liquor and smoke on his tongue. he looked longingly into your eyes waiting for you to say something. you continued to play with him. you must have stood in silence for far too long because eddie spoke for you. his tone was heavy. you watched his lips move with his words. while his fingers toyed with yours.
“baby?’ he asked. you just nodded and sucked harder.
he giggled while rotating his soaked thumb on your tongue. “hmm, what’s the matter, that sweet mouth of yours doesn’t wanna be so mean anymore does she? poor thing. how devastating, i love hearing your pretty noises.. and whines… and pouts. you just need something to fill you up, don’t you?”. eddie clicked his teeth in dissatisfaction as your tongue continued to play with his salty finger. you shook your head at him like a child. telling him you didn’t wanna talk and would rather do this. you were scared of what you would say anyways. the man smirked at you before moving closer to whisper something in your ear. as he spoke softly you reminded yourself this was your sworn enemy. never did you think he could make you so hot. never did you think you would let something like this happen.
eddie was fully in control as he spoke to your empty mind. when his lips barely touched your earlobe you could hear his breath. it made your head spin. that was the closest he had been to you. you felt his hot exhale on your neck. his tone when he said his next words were laced with evil. “tell me, what is it that you want out of this? i can tell you’re touched starved.” his breath grazed your ear again, his lips fell to your jaw and he kissed you there. “mhm,” eddie groaned. “your boyfriend isn’t taking good care of you and your mouth is he?” eddie paused. “because if he was, i bet you’d have way less of an attitude with me all the time.”
this was a dangerous game you two were playing.
you moved your hands between your bodies. the tip of your finger grazed the hem of his shirt and slightly pulled it up. you felt the path of hair that guided you into his pants. eddie winced at the action. he pulled away from you slightly to give your hand room to slip into his waistline. you looked down at his jeans, realizing he was about to pop the zipper on them. you wished it was a bit brighter so you could see exactly what he was packing. there was really no need because you could feel him in your hand. he groaned into the skin of your neck and started leaving messy open mouth kisses in his wake. when you curved your hand just right he whined. “ohh… fuckk”.
eddie grabbed your hand away from his body and instead rushed to pick you up. you yelped and giggled as he drug you back to his bestfriends house. “what.. what are you doing, eddie?” he let out a gruff laugh. “finishing what you started”. his boots stomped on the ground as the pitter patter of your own soles tried to keep up with his. when you both had arrived back inside the party was in its last stage. he rushed you through the doorway and then into the kitchen. bodies were passed out on the livingroom floor. cans were both empty and spilled all over the stairs that eddie was leading you up. there was a door that had a sock on the doorknob in the hall that led to the guest bedrooms of the large home steve and his absent family stayed in.
he threw open a door to a room he knew wouldn’t be occupied because steve always kept a room reserved for eddie and robin when they stayed over. as he manhandled you he slammed the previously open door and pushed you against it. he looked into your eyes. “..this okay, yeah?” he huffed. his chest raised quickly anticipating your answer. “ye-..”, the reassuring words hadn’t even left you before he was swallowing them down.
eddie forced the searing kiss onto your lips while he groaned. it was all tongue and teeth as you both fought to taste each other. he grabbed you cheeks to keep you steady while he studied each curve and imperfection of the lips he had always wished to kiss. he traced his tongue though your crevices. you were everything to him. he had secretly been starving for this very moment since he had a sample of your taste from his damp joint you bummed. your spit teasing him.
though he was rough with you his hands were gentle. he held your face softly and pawed at your hips. it was easy for him to maneuver around you and unbutton your jeans. you were both so desperate, but eddie was pathetic. he was whining and moaning while grinding against your thigh. he pulled away with a soft bite on your bottom lip. he lifted you up by the waist and carried you from the door and further into the room till your back was met with the guest bed. he grabbed your ankles as you fell back and pulled your pants down just enough to where he could see the tiniest bit of your panties.
eddie bites his lip softly, smiling to himself. he had been wanting to get you into this position since the beginning of his toments. eddie crawls up your frame as he slowly pulls your jeans completely down. his arms wrap around and spread your thighs. your head unwillingly fell backwards. the muscles of your neck strained. you felt him leave a gentle kiss on your covered clit. it wasn’t much, but it was enough to drive you insane. he laughed with his face close to your center. his hot breath so close gave you another sensation of how crazy this was. eddie teased you with his fingers over the fabric making your thighs clench together around his head. blocking his view and slowing his moments.
“ah.. you keep those legs open or we’re stopping… been thinking ‘bout this too long.” he hooks his strong arms around your calves. he forces you into the position easily. eddie wasn’t being dramatic. he had been dreaming about this for years and now he wasn’t gonna let you move an inch. you let him hold you.
you hated him. you loved this.
you cupped your hand around your mouth to try to stay quiet. as soon as you did, eddie raised over you and pulled it away harshly. he laid your palm flat and open over your head. “none of that either.. talk to me, doll. let me hear you…” he demanded with a sultry tone. “yes, eddie..” you nodded and then he kissed you. the kiss this time was softer and laced with feeling.
“that’s a good girl… such a good girl”, he murmurs the words to himself as he makes his way back down. “your boyfriend ever do this for you baby…?” eddie possessively played with the hem of your panties while purposely teasing your lips. you answer him with a small whine. “..no..”, you lean forward to watch him. he grins at you like a devil. eddie slides his fingers under your panties, rubbing your slick around your mess. “oh god.. you.. you were this wet for me while we were out there talking weren’t you?” all you could do was nod. he slowly hooks his fingers onto the straps of your panties and pulls them off to expose you to him fully. his breath hitched, you heard it. the damp fabric moving from your hips down to your thighs and past your ankles makes you roll your eyes back and instinctively buck your hips towards him. as your panties had moved down, his lips now moved up. a kiss on your ankle, a harsh bite on your inner knee, a wet suck and pop of his lips on your inner thigh.
“gonna make you feel so good, you’re gonna feel so good cause of me, baby. no one else, m’kay?” eddie opens your legs wide again so he can indulge himself. he grunts as he gets a good look at you. he kisses your exposed clit and sucks deeply. his eyes roll back at the taste. soft, messy sounds start to fill the room from your dripping wet pussy and his sloppy tongue. you could subtly hear the grind of his hips against the spring mattress. his tongue worked in firm circles on your sensitive nub, followed by gentle slides of his up your tummy in tender touches.
“god, you soaked through your panties, pretty girl”. you whined above him, unable to answer his statements. you watched him as he collapsed your worn garment into a bundle in his free hand, he stuffed it deeply in his back jean pocket. “gotta save that for later so i know i'm not dreaming…” eddie growled from deep in his throat. the overwhelming and confusing feelings made you reach for him. he giggled and stuffed a finger into you while continuing to lick his flat tongue up your center to savor your dripping arousal.
the air was filled with the smell of sex and the sloppy sounds of him drinking you down. he worked you open for him. he was silent as he catered towards his own needs and fantasies, still not fully comprehending that you were wincing under him in pleasure.  when he felt your walls clench around his fingers and your pants grow even shorter, eddie began to talk you through your finish. “does that feel good, sweetheart?” his hips rutted into the mattress, hard. the prospects of getting you off was getting him harder than he had ever been before.
though eddie was so fucked out, his mean demonor didn’t stray far away. he slowed his movements just to hear you cry out for him. when you looked for an answer to why he was slowing down, he smirked at you. you watched through your lashes as he flicked his tongue just right and in a dreadfully slow curve. “taste so.. fucking.. good”, he said to himself. then he harshly slapped your clit after your hand had fallen back over your mouth to muffle your moans. “ahha!” you cried. “what did i say? answer me.. feels good, doesn’t it?”. “yes.. yes feels…ah… really good.. don’t stop. please. don’t stop.” you whimpered for him. his chest grew warm, his tummy turned.
he whispered his words while kissing your clit “mhm… wasn’t hard was it? all i needed to hear, baby.” he continued his faux attitude while you cried for him. he was close to falling apart. he had to be dreaming. eddie moved his fingers over you in an agonizingly slow manner, while he day dreamed. as he mindlessly day dreamed of all the things he could do to you tonight he heard you cry out for him to give you more. you didn’t have to tell him twice. he picked up his pace once again. you trembled, a moan stuck in your throat threatening to rip through you. you couldn’t hold on anymore. your entire body shakes for him as your breath leaves your lungs. his name is a constant curse of how good he could make you really feel. the way you moaned for him was making his cock unbelievably hard. you can feel his devilish smile againsts you as he furthers his torture and fucks you through your first orgasm, not daring to slow down for you to catch your breath. his hips continue to chase friction from the mattress.
a massive tidal wave washes over you. the sounds of your hot cunt leaking for him and down his fingers make him leak through his pants and onto the bed with his own pre. the relief you feel brings tears to your eyes as you cum harder than you thought was possible for a person to. your dripping hole clenched around him like a vice. it continues to suck him back in, he’s not ashamed to give your greedy pussy more.
“eddie! ahhha.. eddie!” you scream out from overstimulation. your needy tone surprises him so he quickly slows down his pace. he calms you. eddie places hot kisses on the hollow spot between your hip and thigh. after he sucks your skin a deep purple eddie sits up a little. he’s letting go of your legs, and placing both of his hands on the top of your thighs. he grips the doughy skin gently to ease your tingly body. the tenderness of his actions allows you to come back down to earth. you look up at him over you. as you made eye contact eddie pulled his shirt off of his chest. his hands worked on loosening his belt buckle. he was so handsome like this. “you’re handsome..” you mumbled in a drowsy state.
“you.. you really think so..?” he blushed a deep maroon while you hummed when he collapsed onto you. he raised slightly to help you take your own shirt off. he moved desperately. “need to feel you..” he pulls you into a searing hug. skin on skin. eddie raises your back to arch for him before he pops the back of your bra undone. you whine at how efficient he was with it. “eddie..” you whimper. he pulled the garment off of you as he raised himself up. he threw it somewhere into the room with the rest of the now growing pile of clothes.
then he was working on his jeans. he clumsily moved his knees back and forth to rock out of the tight restricting pants. your hand must’ve made it’s way to his lower tummy while he undressed. he pulled the band of his boxers down and he let his swollen cock bounce free. it slapped the back of your hand. you both moaned at the contact. his tip was bright red and dripping. eddie whined as he grabbed his base. he got a serious glint in his eyes as he let you take it and guided it down to you.  “you think it’s handsome?” "y-yeah," you nodded, sounding a little hoarse.
you sighed a little at the feeling of him letting you run it through your folds. he was huge and bigger than anything you had ever taken. he grabbed your hips to keep your body from running from him, or worse pushing him into you when he wasn’t composed at all and risking hurting you. he insulted your past experiences to make himself feel better about the fact that he was forsure going to bust early. “never had a dick this big?” he teased shyly. his false confidence died when you looked at him with need. oh, he was so fucked. he had already been so on edge while playing with you using his fingers.
he bent at the waist and kissed you again, right when you least expected it. you felt his hips pull away from your slightly. he whispered “..you.. shit.. are you ready?" he asked you, but it sounded like he was stalling.
karma's a bitch and you were tired of waiting. you were going to win this standoff. the break between your last orgasm and now allowed you to catch your breath. with a huff and a whisper into the shell of his ear, you teased, “are you?”. you broke down all his walls with those two words. "baby… oh baby.. fuck i've been ready for this for years," he choked the confession out breathlessly before plunging forward and filling you with his cock in one smooth motion. eddie shivered as he pressed his hips up to yours, moaning weakly and so completely in love. his eyes were shut tight and his head tossed back in concentration.
when he regained his composure he fucked into you like he was crazed. he grabbed the back of your thighs and threw you into his cock. back and forth. his pace was relentless as he started moving his mouth a mile per minute. just like his hips. “i don’t deserve this. always been… so mean to you and.. you still wanna give me this sweet pussy? god, you’re gonna make me cum, sweetheart. i’m sorry i'm already gonna cum.” he was rambling while he lost his tempo. eddie pulled your legs onto his shoulders as he rotated his hips deeper. he popped his finger in his mouth and licked the digit before he laced it between your bodies and started working on your clit. “it would be really mean.. of me to not let you.. cum again. and.. ahha- fuck.. i need to feel you cum on me. please”.
your legs trembled, your walls sucking him in deeper. “yes! yes! just like that, baby”, he grunted in your ear. “eddie ohh.. god.. im gonna cum. im gonna cum!” you felt him shake over you while his hot breath painted your neck in a allowed dampness. he bit your neck to suppress his needy whines. he chanted your name but not before dropping an absolute bomb on you.
“fuck… i love you, always loved you. and i love this pussy shit..” you hardly caught his confession as your orgasms both teetered on the edge. “gonna fucking fill you up, fill my good girl up.. you want that? fuck give it to me… i need it. i need you...” you nodded your head with haste. “give it to me, eddie. please.. you can cum inside me..” both of you crossed the finish line together as the waves washed over you. eddie’s entire body shuddered. his grip his rough hands had on you was so tight there was sure to be evidence that this wasn’t just some sick dream tomorrow. the way your nails had clawed against his back and forearms branding him in the same way. he felt both of your liquids gush around his cock as he slowed his pace and grunted. he didn’t wanna pull away. eddie was too scared of what your reaction would be to his afterglow of the best orgasm he had ever had. not to mention the embarrassment of his loose tongue.
after a few moments of silence he slightly moved so he could look into your eyes. you had a dumb smile on your face. eddie accepted the humiliation and grinned back. he stayed buried inside of you. only adjusting to see you better in certain moments. you allowed his words from earlier to ring in your ears. he looked at you with pure devotion wondering who was going to address what he said first.
“so-“ he started.
“we-“ you said at the same time.
“you.. uh.. you go first.. please?” he nervously bit his lip while adjusting the warm blanket you two had found yourselves wrapped up in. he moved his face to yours. “no.. how about you finish what you started”.
the boy could only slowly blink at you. oh how the tables had turned.

"Still can't believe you've kept it after all this time"
A shaggy mess of dark bouncy curls stomps up to the counter in the arcade before slamming down a handful of tickets and proudly pointing to the ring underneath the glass counter.
Eddie looks at you with his big brown eyes and an even bigger gap-toothed smile. You return his smile and nod your head, holding his hand in yours, your fingers inter-twining together.
“That one please!” he says to the older kid working behind the counter.
The ring he’s pointing to is a chunky pink ring with a big silver heart shaped gem in the centre of it.
The boy behind the counter hand the ring over Eddie
“Here you go, kid.” the boy behind the counter smiles.
Eddie immediately grabs your left hand and slides the plastic ring over your ring finger.
“There!” he smiles brightly, his rosy freckled cheeks flush under the rainbow glow of the fluorescent arcade lights. “You have to wear this ring because you’re my girlfriend and I love you!”
You hold your hand out in front of you, admiring the ring in all its fake, plastic glory.
“Eddie!!” you giggle as you lean in to kiss him on the cheek. “I love it!”
“And when I’m old enough I’m gonna get you a real ring, and I’m gonna marry you, that way we can be best friends together forever.” he tells you with a confident nod of his head, his shaggy hair bouncing as he does.

You had moved away when you were nine years old and it had been tough on both you and Eddie. He was the closest thing that you had to a best friend and now you had to move away to Chicago because your dad had got a job there and moving there just made things easier. Despite Chicago being only a three hour drive away from Hawkins, in your young mind it might as well have been on the other side of the world.
You promised to call each other every night, and so you did. Never wanting to miss out on hearing the sound of your best friend's voice as you swap stories about your days. The phone calls sometimes going on into the late hours of the evening up until the rasping voice of Uncle Wayne could be heard in the background, reminding Eddie that he was racking up a phone bill longer than his arm.
Of course you would visit each other each summer, one year Eddie and Wayne would make their way up to you, and the next; you and your family would spend some time back in Hawkins during the school's summer break.
As you got older you got closer. Closer than most best friends do. You had been each other’s first loves since you were children playing together in the schoolyard, and then as two giggling pre-teens holding hands in a dark movie theatre. You had been each other’s first kiss. It wasn’t anything special. It had been clumsy, and ungraceful as you bumped noses with each other, but it was sweet, and charming and most importantly it was you and your Eddie.
No matter how old you got, you always made time for each other. Last year Eddie had surprised you by coming down to visit you all by himself. Driving up in his van just to see you.
That summer you spent your time together watching the sun fall in the back of his van, counting the stars and getting lost in each other's touch. Holding each other close like you had always dreamed of.

You’d moved back to Hawkins after 10 years of living in Chicago, coming back to the town you grew up in all those years ago.
The moment you got back you immediately made your way down to the very familiar site of Forest Hills trailer park. Stepping towards the old tattered door of the Munson trailer you knock your fist against the door excitedly.
You giggle to yourself at the grumbling voice you hear walking towards the door on the inside, grouching about "who the hell would be knocking our door at this time of day?"
The door swings open, and there he is. The boy that you fell in love with all those summers ago.
"W-what are you doing here?" He asks, immediately bringing you into an almost bone-crushing hug.
"I'm back!" You smiled broadly "..and I'm back for good this time! Didn't think you could get rid of me that easily, did you, Eddie?" You teased.

“I can’t believe you’ve kept it after all this time.” Eddie said, nodding his head towards the small plastic ring that you’ve got hanging on a chain around your neck. "I mean, we were kids when I won that for you." He smiles, playfully nudging your arm
“You won it for me, so it’s special to me” you smiled as you toyed the ring hanging around your neck. "I remember you telling me that as long as I had this ring, we were going to be together forever." You say, catching his eyes in a quick glance.
"I also remember saying something about giving you a real ring, sweetheart.."
Oh he remembered that moment just as well as you had done. He'd been thinking about it, about you ever since.
Sliding the clunky metal skull ring off his finger, he takes your hand in his and slides the ring over your finger.
"It doesn't have to mean anything now, but I love you, I've always loved you and I just want you to have this."
It doesn't have to mean anything now.
But it does. It means everything to you. You knew you loved him, you always had done. Just as he'd loved you, you loved him just the same.
You smile down at the large chunky ring on your finger, and a small tear escapes the corner of your eye, suddenly feeling overwhelmed with emotions.
"It's perfect." You tell him, before leaning into him, placing the most gentle of kisses against his plush pink lips.
You feel him smile against your lips, his arms wrapping around you, to pull you deeper into the kiss like he's always longed to do.
"You know, this one was always my favourite one of your rings" you grin.
Oh yeah, you were the girl for him. No doubt about it. He was going to marry you one day for sure. Eddie knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with you, he could never imagine his future without you in it, he didn’t want to imagine it. He wanted to be with you forever and always, and he could only hope that you felt the same.

⚠️all smut. Mentions of knife play, a tiny moment of blood kink, roleplay as killer and victim
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
I hope you guys enjoy this random idea I had after seeing these pictures on Pinterest. And this gets you in the spooky and sexy mood for Halloween ;)
Eddie and Y/N were always open to trying each other's kinks. They knew some things they'd have in common and some differences. But they always gave each other a fair shot. Some kinks they had conversations about before starting, and some were spur of the moment. They had their safe words and trusted each other completely.
Eddie was Halloween shopping with Dustin, more of Dustin needed a ride and offered Eddie a twenty. Dustin ran all around, checking out every shelf and aisle. Eddie followed mindlessly behind, scanning the masks and fake weapons. And his eyes caught a certain mask. He reached forward, his fingers tracing the long black eyes, short nose, and open mouth. The white material felt cold along his skin. The black fabric felt thin and airy. He quickly grabbed the small fake knife next to it and headed for the checkout counter.
~~~
Y/N was cleaning the dishes when Eddie walked in, her back to him as he walked up slowly. His heavy boots hit the floor with each step, she smiled as she heard him get close.
"Hey, handsome. Have fun with Dusty?" She asked, her eyes on the plates as she scrubbed. She waited for a response but was met with silence.
"Eds?" She asked, wiping her hands as she turned around. She jumped as he stood right in front of her, wearing a ghost face mask. She laughed at her reaction, pushing his arm.
"You scared the shit out of me!" Her laughter died as he continued to stay silent. He stepped closer, her back against the counter as she looked up at him. She could hear his breathing from behind the mask, his black T-shirt tight on his arms as he moved fast, his right hand around her neck. She shivered at his cold rings, the veins in his arms flexing as he squeezed her neck. Her eyes filled with lust and desire as she took him in.
She slowly caught on when she felt his cock against her thigh.
"Oh no, am I the poor innocent victim?" She teased, covering her mouth as she gasped.
Eddie squeezed her neck again as he nodded. She moaned as he moved his right hand down to her chest. He yanked her tank top down, her bare tits meeting the cold air, he was rough and eager. His right hand squeezed her right breast, then he slowly teased her nipple. He turned his head as he looked down at her, she fought to keep her eyes open as he flicked her nipple before moving to her left breast.
She moved her hands to reach for his jeans, but he moved faster. His hand caught hers, and his grip forced her hands against the counter next to each side of her body. She moaned as he pressed himself against her, her body trapped and held down.
"Careful little one, I didn't say you could touch." He growled from behind the mask. She shivered at the sound of his deep voice, whimpering as she gave up all control. Her bare chest rubbed against his thin shirt when he moved his head down to her neck, she could feel him inhaling her scent.
"Smell so innocent, so pure." The way the mask muffled his voice turned her on even more. She felt herself clenching her thighs as he let her go, standing back and taking her in. He lunged at her quickly, yanking off the rest of her tank top, and threw the material across the room. She didn't move a muscle, letting him use her any way he wanted. He teased down her shorts, a rough slap to her inner thighs when he caught her not wearing underwear. She stood naked as he was fully clothed, making her his prey in so many ways.
He grabbed her arm and twisted her around. Her arm smashed against her own back as he pushed her down. She moaned as her chest hit the cold counter, her ass perched in the air. His grip on her arm was tight, and she knew there wasn't a way for her to move. At his mercy as she was bent over on display for him. His left hand kept her arm against her back, his right hand teased the curve of her spine. His rough hand slammed down on her ass. She gasped at the slap, biting her lip as he rubbed away the sting. She felt her cunt dripping as his cock was pressed against her, his hand slapping her ass over and over. She wouldn't be surprised if his handmark was left behind. The way he was completely silent was driving her insane. Eddie was always so vocal during sex, that he liked to tease and mock her.
Yet he found ways to humiliate her without a sound.
With every crack against her skin, the more she felt her thighs being soaked by her cunt.
She felt his grip release her arm, but she stayed in place. His body moved off of her, and she went to turn her head but he immediately shoved her head against the counter. Her cheek smashed against the cool marble as she gasped.
"Don't move a muscle or I'll slit your pretty little throat." He warned, and she whimpered at his words. His eyes caught the sight of her thighs clenching and her fingers gripping the counter.
He stepped back to unzip his jeans, taking out his cock. He spit on his hand and pumped himself. Taking in the sight of her bent over with his handprint on her ass. He pumped himself a little more.
He stood behind her, his right hand holding his cock as he teased her folds. His tip slipped in and out, and her cunt tried to clench around him. She wanted to push back against him, forcing his cock to slip fully inside of her, but she knew better.
Finally having mercy, he slammed himself inside of her. She screamed as her cunt was stretched open without warning. Her hands gripped the counter as he relentlessly fucked into her. Her body jolted forward with every thrust of his hips, her breasts moving against the counter and her head bobbing.
"Fuck Eddie, my god." She moaned loudly, his hands grabbed her hips and yanked her back on him. Forcing her cunt to take him even further as he continued to fuck into her.
She yelped as he fisted her hair and yanked her head back. The force yanked her body up against his chest, and his left arm wrapped around her. His cock deep in her cunt as his left hand moved down to rub her clit. His right hand was fast to grab his fake knife, but then he saw a real knife drying on the rack. He smirked and snatched the knife and held it against her throat. He quickly took in her eyes and face, making sure there was no fear before he continued. But when he felt her cunt clench around him and her teeth bite down on her lip, he knew she liked it.
She whined as his left hand moved away from her clit and returned to her hair. He yanked her hair, forcing her neck exposed as he held the blade against it.
"I'm going to murder this pretty pussy, fuck you so hard until I feel your insides against my cock. And I don't want to hear a single sound come out of your mouth, got it?" He growled, and she gulped as he pressed the blade against her skin, the blade pierced her skin and a small trickle of blood began to run down. She moaned as she felt herself bleeding.
"Or what? Are you gonna kill me, Mr. Killer?" She teased.
Eddie smirked underneath the mask, pulling it up slightly to free his mouth. He leaned down, licking up the trail of bled that ran down her neck. She moaned at the feeling of his tongue.
He continued to fuck into her, placing the knife back against her throat.
"I'll gut you open right here, princess." He warned, the tip of the knife moving down her body, in between her breasts, down to her stomach.
His hand returned to her clit, rubbing fast circles as her breathing picked up. His cock pounded inside of her, and the sound of their skin smacking against each other echoed in her ears.
She clawed at the counter in front of her, her stomach tightening. Before she could cum, he backed away. The knife left her skin, and his cock left her empty.
"Noooo" she whined, frustrated tears in her eyes.
"Shh pretty girl," he cooed, turning her around. She took sight of him, the way his cock was pulled out from his jeans, and stood fully clothed.
He placed the knife back on the rack, his right hand wrapping around her throat as his left pushed his cock inside of her.
"Gonna look at me when you cum." He growled, her eyes half closed but she tried to keep her eyes on him. He was in the mask as he picked her up and set her on the counter. She kept her arms at her sides, gripping the counter as he fucked into her.
The fast and rough pace had her jolting forward and smacking into his chest.
His hands went back down to her clit, circling her sensitive clit as she got close. She tried to warn him but all that came out was moans and whimpers.
She gasped and threw her head back as she came, her head smacking the cabinet but she didn't care. She gripped his T-shirt as her orgasm took over her, her legs wrapped around him.
He fucked her through her orgasm, his own approaching in seconds. He came inside of her, slowly fucking himself back into her as he rode it out.
His cum leaking out and dripping down her thighs. A small puddle on the counter as he fully pulled out.
He backed away, to drop to his knees. He removed the mask and chucked it across the room. His tongue immediately licked through her folds. The taste of his cum mixed with hers on his tongue as he cleaned her up. She cried above him, hands in his hair as she tried to yank him away but he refused. He used all his strength to keep his head right between her legs, his tongue pushing inside of her to keep the cum from dripping out even more.
He removed his tongue and ran it up her folds, the tip of his tongue flicking her clit. She whimpered as he closed his mouth over her clit, sucking gently as his hands rubbed her thighs.
Her body felt like jello immediately, she couldn't move or feel anything other than his teeth softly scraping against her clit.
After a moment, he took mercy on her. He removed himself completely, leaning back on his knees to look at the damage he caused.
Her cunt was used and red. He could see her cunt pulsing and her thighs shaking. A proud smirk on his face as he stood up.
"Feel good?" He asked, cupping her jaw softly as he slowly leaned in. His other hand shoved his sensitive cock back into his jeans.
"Uhhh" she muttered out, her eyes closed as she melted against the cabinet.
Eddie chuckled and leaned down to press his lips on hers. She was so fucked out she couldn't kiss him back.
"You did so well for me." He praised, his soft kisses landing on her jaw, cheeks, neck, and shoulders.
She hummed at his praise and soft kisses.
He helped her get down, wrapping his arm around her as he walked her to the bedroom. She collapsed immediately on the bed, Eddie covered her with a blanket, and a kiss on her forehead as she slowly began to fall asleep.
Eddie smirked as he left the room, closing the door behind him as he headed to the kitchen to clean the mess.
He picked up the mask and his smirk grew. This definitely wouldn't be the last time Ghost Face comes out to prey.
The Demobat Queen
Tumblr media
A/N: Okay, hear me out. I got this idea from the app that shall not be named and then it suddenly turned into 10k words. Classic.
Synopsis: After the Demobats attack Eddie, you find him dead in the dirt. At least that is what you think he is. But when he coughs, you see a chance. A chance to be less lonely in this dark and gloomy dimension. You feed him your blood to heal him and, after some initial suspicion, he warms up to you. For the first time ever, you get to experience what it’s like to have a friend. But before you can explore your growing feelings for Eddie, the desire to be close to him, to kiss him even, he makes it his mission to return back to Hawkins, to leave you behind for good. You don’t really blame him. He doesn’t belong here. And after all, a bat’s love can never be reciprocated… right?
Words: 10669 Warnings: fluff, angst, blood and feeding, near-death experiences, violence, burns/fire, vampire/bat!Reader
“I made this world mine. I own it. I own you.”
“You don’t control me, Henry. You never did. We struck a bargain and we agreed to live in peace after that. Remember that.” Your eyes flashed red as you spoke, the veins under your eyes protruding and giving you a downright eerie look, you could see it through the dirty mirror in the house you resided in.
Henry—or what was left of him—remained unfazed. Growling, he turned away from you.
“I’ve kept my word so far. You let them come too close,” you stressed.
His flesh was singed, soot covering his half-rotten limbs from the burning petrol. Tilting your head, you narrowed your red eyes at him and dug your nails into your fists until they stung.
“Your thirst for revenge will kill you eventually and you know that.”
“You dare threaten me?”
“I have no desire to kill you, you know that. So why would I threaten you with it? The girl you’re after… she can’t be worth all of this trouble. I want a way out. I want to be up there, I want a real life.”
“You don’t belong there,” he growled.
“You are the reason they would hunt me down like a rabid animal now.” This time, his growl practically tore through the cool darkness around you. Turning on your heel, you marched away from him, feeling his burning gaze on your back as you conjured your bat-like wings, spread them, and took off without looking back.
Tumblr media
You counted a dozen or so bats dead on the cold and uneven ground of the trailer park. Stabbed, beaten to death, or sliced open by a sharp object. Your heart bled upon seeing their lifeless bodies, yet more victims of Henry’s thirst for vengeance.
He might not have controlled you… yet even though the bats listened to you and did your bidding based on trust and likeliness, it was Henry who controlled what happened in this dimension. You took a deep breath, the metallic smell of blood filling your nostrils and igniting your hunger.
You landed, scanning the ground for the source when you spotted a young man, bloody and torn open by the bats, with three of them still feasting on his flesh. He was alone—collateral damage after a failed assassination attempt. If anyone had been with him when he died, they’d had to leave his body behind. A sigh escaped your lips as your feet touched the ground and you tucked your wings away, your head whipping in his direction when he coughed with a start, blood presumably pooling in his lungs and choking him from the inside out. Your lips parted. He’s still alive.
“Shoo! That’s enough!” The bats didn’t listen. Not until you flung them out of the way with your bare hands. “I said that’s enough! Off with you now!”
His eyes were closed, his white and ripped shirt drenched in blood and revealing the countless bite marks all over his chest. More blood was dribbling from the corners of his mouth as he coughed again. You knelt next to him, indecisiveness creeping up your spine.
You could heal him with your blood. But if you were too late, if he was too close to death already… Henry would kill you if you turned him, made him part of this world. You cursed under your breath when your fangs forced their way past your lips, causing you to hiss. Only another heartbeat passed before you brought your wrist to your lips and sunk your canines into it, drawing blood to feed him.
His eyes remained shut even when he felt your cool skin against his mouth. He gagged soon after your blood poured down his throat.
“Drink… drink it,” you whispered. Henry could not hear you—he had long stopped keeping tabs on you. There was nothing you could do, after all. But you could tell the boy was scared. He was young, on the verge of proper manhood, twenty-two at most. As you drew away, you wondered just how he had winded up in this fruitless conquest to kill a monster who controlled an entire dimension.
“Help me carry him home,” was all you said when he lost consciousness again. The bats hissed before obeying you, digging their claws into his clothes to carry him off. You followed suit.
Your so-called home must have been a lively house up in the light dimension, as you liked to call it. Inhabited by a happy family, perhaps. Here, it was but a depressing and empty place to retreat to, a mere illusion of civilisation. This dimension was a lonely one, after all.
You flinched when the young man who now recovered on your bed finally gasped for air a few hours later and sat up straight as if awoken by a nightmare. You hurried over to his side, gently forcing him back on the mattress. It had taken him long enough.
“Easy… easy! Take it slow.”
“W-wha…” He coughed, eyes widening when he noticed you properly. Your smile was hesitant, timid.
“Welcome back. I was worried you wouldn’t make it. You lost a lot of blood.”
“W-hat the hell… happened?”
“Well, you almost died. And you took down quite a few of my bats with you.” In an instant, his expression grew harder. Coldly, he scanned your form, hostility radiating from him. Granted, you probably looked quite intimidating, dressed all in leather and a long coat made of the same material. He sat up again.
“You need to rest.” When he simply stared at you, you pushed him back into a lying position. “I said rest. I healed you with my blood,” you continued. “I don’t just do that lightly, it’s incredibly risky. You need to rest for it to circulate through your body properly. It will take a while. Be patient.”
“You… fed me your blood,” he stated then. To be honest, it sounded more like a question. You nodded matter-of-factly.
“Who are you?”
“I haven’t used my name in so long that I think I can’t remember it anymore. Why don’t you give me one?” It was true. Your real name was buried along with those you had taken to the grave. Creatures, humanoids with a thirst for blood like you before they’d cast you out of what little of a society this dimension possessed. Your name was there, of course. You hadn’t literally forgotten it. But it sounded so foreign and strange to you that it felt wrong to still use it. Especially after making a deal with who could only be compared to the devil.
“Then what are you?” he asked instead. He swallowed thickly, noticing only now that you had cleared his face of all the blood. You had taken his bandana off to clean him up while he was still unconscious. It was currently in a pile with the rest of the bloody shreds of fabric you had used.
“I believe you can answer that question for yourself. But I don’t have powers like Henry does.”
“Henry? You mean Vecna? You’re with him?” he bellowed.
“Vecna? Is that what you call him up there? I’m not with him. I struck a deal with him out of necessity. I wanted to survive when he showed up, much like you now,” you snapped.
“What the hell does that mean then, am I turning into a vampire?”
“More like a humanoid bat but… no… it’s more complicated than that. You would have to die with my blood still in your system. You didn’t. Give it a few days and you’ll be fine, Eddie.”
The young man blinked at you. “How do you know my name?”
“What, Eddie? Is that really your name? I was making a joke. It’s a reference. Eddie Van Halen, you know? You look a little like him.”
Eddie stared at you for a moment, unable to return the smile you offered him. “Was there… was there anyone else there? When you found me?”
You shook your head. “No. You were alone.”
Eddie nodded, realising it was probably for the best that whoever had left him behind had done so for their own good.
“You must be famished. We need to find you some food. Can I trust you’ll stay here and won’t wander off? I can’t guarantee my bats will leave you alone when I’m not near.”
“You gotta get those fuckers under control then…” he mumbled, sitting up for the third time. You raised your eyebrows.
“If you are referring to the lake, you intruded on their territory. They were just defending it. Besides, I don’t control them. They just… choose to do as I say.”
“They almost killed Steve!”
“Whoever Steve is, I’m sure he won’t make the same mistake again then. Nor will you. Stay put until I’m back. If I had wanted to hurt you, I would have already. Besides, I can’t risk Henry finding you here.”
It sounded absurd but the restaurants in the light dimension… threw perfectly consumable food out, more than you could count. Eventually, it would appear here as well and if you were fast enough, you would be able to take it with you for Eddie to eat and regain his strength before it went rotten. You flew off outside your house, praying that the metalhead would listen to reason and do as he was told.
About twenty minutes or so later—time was relative down here, after all—you returned with two pizza boxes containing leftovers that were still warm when they appeared in between some black plastic bags.
The air had cooled it all down only a moment after but it would do. For just a brief moment, as you dug your hands into the bins behind the restaurant, you wondered why you bothered helping him in the first place. But the answer was obvious, was it not? You were lonely down here. Henry was not one for company and he was not one for chit-chat. Decades in solitude were gruesome, besides… you were not him. You might have been what Eddie referred to as a vampire but that did not make you a ruthless killer. You were a survivor.
“Eddie?”
“Still here…”
Relieved, you walked up the stairs and back into the room you had chosen for your bedroom, pizza boxes in hand.
“You are indeed.”
“There’s not exactly… lots of places for me to go, so…”
You smirked. “Fair point. And a wise choice. It’s not safe out there if you don’t know your way around.” You placed the cardboard boxes in front of him. “It’s not much but… it’ll do.” Eddie stared at them for a second. Next thing you knew, he opened them both, brown eyes widening. He dug in as if he hadn’t eaten in ages. Well, he probably hadn’t. You didn’t stop him. He needed all the sustenance he could get until your blood was out of his system.
“So, uh… you’re Vecna’s right hand then?” he said almost casually with his mouth full.
“I happen to exist in the same dimension. He doesn’t control me, we came to a more or less peaceful agreement. I mean you no harm, Eddie. I have no desire in destroying Hawkins, not like him.”
He swallowed. “Do you… consume blood?”
“I do. Occasionally. I need it to survive but I can go without it for a long time. It gives me… strength. And if I don’t feed for a while, I do get fatigued and burned out but other than that… I’m just like you. Well… minus the wings. I’m sure you don’t have those,” you added, winking at him.
“Who… or what… do you feed on?” he asked suspiciously in return.
“Creatures from this dimension… until, um…”
“What, like Demogorgons and shit?”
“What?”
“Those huge things with fangs for a face that looks like a flower? I’ve never seen one myself luckily but I’ve been told they’re quite terrifying.”
“I… if that’s what you want to call them. But I… I did try human blood when a few poor unfortunate souls ended up here against their will. I have no desire to make that a habit though just in case you’re still worried I am fattening you for slaughter.”
Eddie gave you a silent look before he continued eating. You watched him quietly with your arms crossed after sitting down at the small vanity in the room. The bats outside your house screeched, making you sigh.
“I’ll be right back…”
They knew he was in there, hungry for his blood and eager to feast, assuming he was as good as dead and that his body shouldn’t go to waste.
“Shut it! He’s off limits, do you hear me?” The bats flew around you in circles, following your every movement. One of them landed on your shoulder, screeching loudly as if to complain.
“No. He’s alive and well. Besides, he has my blood in his system at the moment. Stay away from him.” The bats flew a few more circles around you, following your hand as you pointed at the dark and gloomy sky.
“Kas…” Eddie suddenly said. You spun around, not having realised that he had followed you outside, hiding behind a garden rock. No wonder the bats were almost going insane.
You frowned. “Kas?”
Eddie slowly emerged once the last bat was out of sight. “You said you don’t have a name. That’s what I’m gonna call you. I figured… that fits?”
“Kas…” you repeated the name as if tasting a piece of candy. “Okay… I like it.”
Tumblr media
“Is this because we are in a darker version of where you come from or is your room really this chaotic?” Grinning, you followed after him. Eddie’s room was plastered with metal band posters and a huge hand-drawn flag reading “Corroded Coffin”. Clothes and other bits and bobs lay scattered all over the place, along with the odd guitar pick, questionable décor, and… condoms on the nightstand. You blushed.
“Come on, it’s not that chaotic.”
Eddie had insisted on returning here and, after having him practically beg you for two days straight, you had agreed to accompany him. Even though the bats had kept their promise and did not lurk around for him anymore, it was still way too dangerous to let him roam freely around here. You liked the goofy metalhead, truly. Eddie was a deeply misunderstand young man with a knack for theatrics and for making people laugh. You shook your head, clearly disagreeing with him here. The room was an utter mess.
“So… you’re saying they blamed you for the murders in Hawkins? Because of a game you play?”
“Yepp… they needed a villain to hunt down and I guess I was in the wrong place at the wrong time,” he mused, kicking a stool out of the way to reach for a guitar. It wasn’t the one he’d used on top of his trailer—you had heard him play, provoke the bats and their sensitive ears to distract Henry.
“They’re gullible…”
“Yeah, they think I’m a satanic cult leader and worship the devil.” He strummed the guitar once. It sounded horribly off, so he sat down to tune it.
“And do you?” you joked.
“Only on Sundays,” he replied, making you laugh while exploring the room some more.
“Do you live here alone?”
“Oh no, with my uncle. He works nights so I’m alone a lot.”
“Your uncle… and you’re still at school?” The schoolbooks on one of the shelves gave it away.
“I was supposed to graduate almost three years ago but…”—he drew the word out—“I guess we can’t all be Albert Einsteins.”
“How old are you?”
“Twenty-one. Even though this room is three years younger than that. That’s a pity. The new Metallica record would have made this place a lot better,” he added looking around.
“What is that supposed to mean?” you asked, tilting your head with your arms crossed.
“Oh, Metallica is only one of the best metal bands in existence.”
“No, not that part, I know who Metallica is, believe it or not.” In fact, you knew a lot of bands. That restaurant you got your pizza from for Eddie had an old jukebox with dozens of records on it. It didn’t work down here but at least, it gave you some sort of idea of pop culture and music trends. “What do you mean by ‘this room is three years younger than you’?”
“You didn’t know that?” Eddie looked up from his guitar. It didn’t sound like a question. You still shook your head.
“No, I didn’t…”
“This place is quite literally three years behind. I mean, it’s a parallel world, right? Everything that happens up there in the real world, happens here as well. Only three years later.”
You raised your eyebrows. “Right. So then that means the food you ate earlier was three years old. Sorry about that.”
Eddie chuckled. “I’ve eaten worse stuff. Wayne and I are horrible cooks.”
“Your uncle?”
“Yes.”
“What about your parents? Where are they?”
“Well…” Avoiding your gaze as if he was ashamed all of a sudden, his fingers played around with the tuning pegs. “My mum left when I was just a kid… I don’t really remember her and my old man… is currently in prison.”
“Oh.” You weren’t going to ask why. By the looks of it and Eddie’s darkening expression, it couldn’t be too good.
Eddie strummed the guitar again, satisfied with the sound this time. The chords he played to follow up sounded beautiful—so melodic and calming compared to the screeching of your bat friends and the hungry growls of the other creatures residing around here. Not to mention the sounds Henry made every now and then, thinking he was scary. Well, not to you. To those kids, to Eddie… definitely. You shuddered.
“How… how long have you been here?” he suddenly asked.
“It’s hard to say… now that I know that I’ve been living in the past but… I’ve… just… always been here. My whole life. It’s always been… I’ve always been… like this.” You gave him a dramatic half-bow, pushing away the thought of the few like you that remained and that would kill you on sight.
“Shit, how old are you?”
You shrugged. “Judging by the calendars you humans started to make… I would say a couple of hundred years.”
Eddie nodded, processing your words all but flabbergasted. “And you never thought of leaving?”
“I didn’t know I could. Not until the veil between our dimensions cracked and opened up gates for the first time. But not all of them are the same, not since Henry started killing.”
“I need to get out of here,” he said. Another strum, as if to emphasise his statement. Your heart almost skipped a beat. He wanted to leave. But of course he did. There was nothing here for him. In fact, as a human, the atmosphere would sooner or later kill him. He didn’t even know you that well, he had no reason to stay, and even if he did… some depraved and delusional part of you had imagined that for the first time in over a decade, you’d have a friend by your side. You swallowed. Perhaps even more. The way his fingers played that guitar, a stark contrast against the black colour of the instrument and the handmade writing on it… That simple action hit you square in the face like a blow. Eddie was bloody handsome.
“You… want to go back,” you finally choked out just to say anything at all.
“Yeah…?”
“No, of course you do. You couldn’t possibly stay here.”
He nodded, slowly. “They all think I’m dead, that should give me an advantage for a while. I’m still… wanted for murder, after all.”
“I’m sure you’ll figure it out.”
Another thoughtful nod. This young man was carrying a burden far too heavy for his age. He paused when you said nothing else. “You said there were cracks… now… between the dimensions?”
“There are. But they would literally tear you in half if you attempted to walk through them. Even… what did you call them the other day? Demogorgons? Even they couldn’t make it through. Henry can. He is the only one who can. You need a smaller gate. I know where to find one.”
Eddie looked up. “There used to be one here. And at the lake and… and the forest. There’s different ones now? More?”
You nodded.
“Can you take me there?”
“I can but not yet.”
“Not yet?”
“Eddie, we need to wait for my blood to be out of your system entirely. If something happens to you when you’re back… if you die… you’ll turn into a vampire just like me.”
“Right… How long do we need to wait then?” The suspicion in his voice was clearly audible, eliciting a defeated sigh from you.
“Just a couple more days to be sure, please. Then I will take you to a gate, I promise.”
Eddie nodded once more, strumming another chord.
“We should head back soon. The bats get hungry around this time. I don’t want to draw any attention to you.”
“Why can’t we just stay here?” he asked. The innocence in his voice nearly had you melt… and the canines hidden away in your gums pressing to the surface eagerly.
“Here? Are you sure?”
“Yeah… unless you, uh… sleep in a coffin?”
“Oh, ouch, wow, that is an awful stereotype.” You grinned. “I don’t sleep in a coffin. I do sleep upside down sometimes though.”
“Wait, really?” Eddie’s eyes widened, eliciting a chuckle from you.
“No! Don’t you have sarcasm up there?”
Eddie put his guitar away and made himself comfortable on his unmade bed. “You’re uh… welcome to join me then. Bed’s big enough.”
Tilting your head, you took a hesitant step forward. “Aren’t you afraid I’m gonna bite you in your sleep?”
“I’d be as good as dead down here without your help, so uh… you might as well.” His bitter smile broke your heart but then again, what did you expect? That he’d fall to his knees before you in gratitude? You might have saved him but he had no reason to believe you had not done so for your own selfish gain, to keep him as a living blood bag. While a dark and malicious part of you buried deep in your heart rejoiced at the thought of that, the butterflies in your stomach stopped the dangerous thoughts from crawling to the surface.
“Alright then… only for a few hours. Then you grab what you need and we head back. It’s not too safe in this area.”
“Neither here nor in the real world…” he muttered. Eddie closed his eyes, his body relaxing almost fast enough for you to be taken aback by it. He’s still exhausted. Of course he was still exhausted. He almost fucking died and was now regenerating with your blood. You’d truly taken a risk with him—and you could only hope that Eddie wasn’t going to take any damage from your emergency medicine.
By the time you finally laid down next to him, the cute metalhead was sound asleep.
Tumblr media
You knew you were in trouble when the butterflies in your belly fed on Eddie’s presence as if he was a drug, sweeter than any blood you had ever tasted. Over the next few days, long talks, and more three-year-old pizza, Eddie quickly became the closest to what you would call a partner in crime. You’d never had one—you wouldn’t know what it was truly like but if there was one thing you were certain about it was the fact that you were not supposed to desire a friend the way you did. To want to be close to him, listen to his heartbeat, feel that lively vein pulse beneath the sensitive skin of his neck, and find out if his lips were as soft as they looked…
“… so each class has different attributes and skills and weaknesses.” For the past hour, Eddie had been attempting to explain Dungeons and Dragons to you. You only understood half of what he was rambling but his passion for the fantasy game was reflected in every single word he spoke. He was sprawled out on the bed with an old D&D handbook he had found under his bed, one he had lost around two years ago, so he’d told you.
Very soon now, you’d venture out to the gate you had promised to bring him to. You’d wanted to wait until the equivalent of daytime just in case your bats decided to disobey you after all.
You’d miss him. As if he’d been in your life for years, you could already feel your heart tearing, leaving a void that would never heal. Were you being dramatic? Yes. But that changed nothing about the fact you were slowly realising that you, in the shortest time possible, had fallen in love with him.
“Eddie? Why don’t you tell me about those warlocks on the way to the gate?” you interrupted him gently. If you ripped him out of your life like a plaster, quick and easy, perhaps it’d hurt less. The sooner he was gone, the sooner you could learn to forget him.
Keep him with you. Feed him more of your blood. Make him stay. Your primal instincts mixed with your growing feelings, making your canines press against your gums almost painfully. Stop. It’s time to say goodbye.
Eddie paused, glancing out of the window. Daylight was barely distinguishable from the night down here but the look of relief and excitement that washed over his face felt like a dagger lodging itself deep into your gut.
“Okay. Let me, uh… grab my things.” You did, watching each and every single one of his movements with curiosity and fascination. If you asked if you could come with him, what would he say? Would he laugh at you? Look at you incredulously? Both?
“You think I could just take that D&D book with me?”
You chuckled. “I don’t see why not. No one will miss it here.”
“Then, um… I’m all set.”
“Good.” You smiled sadly. “Then let’s go.”
Perhaps you’d just stay in Eddie’s room, make it your new home. No one else was going to claim it once he was gone and that way… that way you could keep him in your memory. Your link to the outside world, the one friend you’d ever had down here in this lonely hellhole. You were like a lovesick puppy, detached from reality and what could and could not be, weren’t you? You were pathetic.
You shook your head to chase away the thoughts as Eddie followed you through the gloomy dimension you’d learned they called the Upside Down towards one of the more hidden gates in the forest you had discovered on the same day you had found him after hunting.
And by the time you reached it… he might as well take your heart with him too.
“Here. You’ll have to crawl through. I… I’m not sure what you should expect on the other side but… good luck. You’re innocent, Eddie, I refuse to believe you won’t be able to clear things up.”
“Yeah… maybe. I hope. Uh…” He stared at the hole in the tree stump as if it’d disappear if he took his brown eyes off of it.
“Thanks. For uh… everything. You saved my life.”
“My pleasure. Oh… you might want this back before you leave.”
Your hands were shaking as you pulled his bandana out of your back pocket. You’d tried to clean the blood off of it but you assumed that up in the real world, they’d have functioning washing machines.
Eddie reached for it with a smile. “Thought I lost it.”
“Well, you didn’t.” You stood on your tiptoes then, gently placing your palms on his chest to press a gentle kiss on his cheek.
Ask me to come with you. Ask me to stay with you. Please… tell me you don’t want me to stay here all on my own…
“Are you gonna be okay?” he asked, tilting his head when I pulled away again, reluctantly removing my hands from him.
“I’ll… be fine. I’ve always been here, remember? Good luck, Eddie.”
“B-bye,” he said, waving awkwardly before getting to the gooey ground.
And with every inch he crawled forward, your heart broke a little more until eventually… he was gone.
Fuck, were those tears? Your eyes were burning, your vision was all blurry. You blinked, frantically, to scare them away. It was for the best. Eddie didn’t belong here. Sooner or later, he would have faced the consequences of staying down here. The atmosphere was toxic to humans, you reminded yourself, the lack of sunlight and vitamin D a constant threat to his well-being, not to mention his poor nutrition if he had kept eating leftovers from literal trash cans.
And yet… yet a part of you had hoped that, even after such a short time, Eddie would want to stay with you. He was an outcast in Hawkins, feared and hated by the majority of its people but here… here, he had someone who cared. Was that selfish? Probably. If only… if only you had bothered to find out if his lips were as soft as they looked. If only you had been able to capture the moment of sleeping in his arms forever. But the memory would fade, just like your real name. Kas. You smiled to yourself. That was who you were now. You would use his name for you with pride.
When you shoved your hands into the pockets of your leather coat, something hard and cold brushed against your knuckles. Frowning, you blinked once more, pulling out a tiny silver object. Your lips parted when you realised that it was one of Eddie’s rings. A silver cross surrounded by four skulls. Don’t forget me. He must have slipped it in your pocket when you’d kissed him goodbye. A sad smile tugged on the corners of your mouth before you slid it on.
Then your heart sank. You felt his presence before you glanced behind you. You didn’t turn around to face him.
“What do you want, Henry?”
“You hid a boy here. Nursed him back to health. What for?”
“Leave him out of it. He was just collateral damage to you anyway. And it doesn’t matter anymore. He’s gone now. He’s back in Hawkins.”
“Then he will die regardless. They will all die. Remember what you promised me.”
“I did my part, Henry. The bats did what you asked them to, they protected your precious home and they will wreak havoc once the cracks are safe enough to… travel through. There’s nothing more I can do to help you.”
Henry growled and you spun around, fuming. “Thanks to you, I’ll never be able to have a life up there. That was the one thing you promised me. That I would be able to leave this place.”
“You will, bat. No need to remind me.” Bat. Not Kas. Not what Eddie had named you.
“Yes. I will return to a pile of ashes and decay.” To a place where, even if Hawkins’ people mysteriously survived, you could never be with Eddie simply because of what you were. “They’ll start another attempt, you know,” you insisted when he turned to leave. “They will not stop until you’re dead. If I have learned anything about Hawkins, it’s that they will fight back until their very last breath.”
“Then their very last breath it shall be,” Henry responded. You flinched when he made the gate disappear with but a flick of his wrist—long, gooey vines annihilating the only way up that you knew currently existed. Your only way up should you ever decide to take the risk and leave, hoping the humans would not hunt you down simply because you came from the Upside Down. Not if, you realised. When.
You hissed at Henry, baring your fangs before he vanished, and twisting the silver ring on your finger. You had to warn Eddie. You owed him that.
Tumblr media
Before the goofy metalhead came into your life, you hadn’t known your heart to be capable of so many emotions at once. You longed for him, missed him with every fibre of your being, and yet, with every step you ventured out further away from his trailer in search of another gate to reunite with him, the more your heart bled for your bats.
Leaving them behind and to their fate after what you had asked them to do… it felt wrong to leave them in the lurch but what other choice did you have? Hundreds, if not thousands of people would have to let their life up in the real world where, according to Eddie’s stories, there were oceans and actual sunlight. You had needed a push, something to finally pick up the courage and get away from this bleak existence. But you’d never considered paying a price this high.
The fire hit you out of nowhere. Hot and scourging, it singed your skin, blinding you and throwing you to the ground. You covered your face with a shriek, the burning and unbearable sensation having you thrash on the dirty ground in pain.
Your lungs filled with hot hair, the crackling and windy sounds drowning out even your own screaming. But then you suddenly heard his voice.
“Harrington! Stop! Stop it! Steve, please, stop!”
Were you hallucinating? Perhaps you were dying. Perhaps you were already dead. Perhaps Henry had killed you and your mind attempted, frantically, to make the traumatic experience more endurable.
Eventually, the fire ceased in a way it almost appeared like your attacker was being shoved away, with only the sizzling of your burned skin remaining. Angry red marks and blisters formed wherever the flames had tasted you and licked across you, including your cheeks and palms.
Trembling, you curled up on the ground, still too blinded to make out the person who knelt down beside you and cradled you in their arms. Those hands, however, adorned with cool silver rings… Eddie.
“Shit, shit, shit… Kas, are you okay? Look at me. Hey… hey! Are you okay? Open your eyes, Kas, please open your eyes!” His panicked voice made you want to calm him down, providing you with just enough energy to do as he asked.
“Oh, thank god… are you okay? I’m so sorry, I’m sorry…”
“Y-you’re back,” you choked out, taken hostage by a coughing fit only a fraction of a second later.
“Yeah… yeah, I’m back.” You felt his palm against the side of your cheek that was not burned, calloused fingers stroking over your cheekbone.
“W-what can I do? Are you gonna be okay?”
“…n-need… -ood…” Talking was exhausting. Keeping your eyes open was exhausting. Fighting against the pain was so tiring it would have been so easy to give in to cool darkness and slip into blissful unconsciousness.
“What? What do you need? Speak up, sweetheart.”
Sweetheart. You didn’t care you probably had an audience. You could sense them. More humans besides your attacker, at least two.
“Bl-…ood… I need blood.”
Eddie’s eyes widened. “Could you… I mean, could you drink from me? Would… would that work?”
You nodded—barely visible to the naked eye, your chin moved up and down once. Eddie caught it nonetheless. Without any hesitation whatsoever, he leaned down to you until your warm and shaking lips brushed against the sensitive skin of his neck, his long hair acting like a curtain and shielding you from the eyes of his friends.
This time, as soon as your instincts took over, you let them. Your fangs appeared within a second, your eyes turning blood-red. Your mouth watered in joyful anticipation when you opened it, sinking your pair of sharp teeth straight into his neck, breaking the skin, and… fuck, he tasted divine. So good and sweet and rich and…
Eddie flinched when you bit him but, albeit carefully, held you even tighter, mutely urging you on.
“Shit, what the fuck is happening here? Eddie? Eddie!”
“No, Steve, stop! It’s fine.” The metalhead did not elaborate, not for now and not until you had enough of your strength back to dig your fingers into his shoulders, feeling the cool leather of his jacket under your fingertips.
You promised to yourself that you would take five more sips—one, two, three, four… five… Reluctantly, you pulled away and licked your lips. You’d left a bite mark on him—one he quickly covered with his hair.
“A-are you good? Do you need more?” You shook your head in response, feeling your fangs retreat and your eyes, hopefully, returning to their usual colour.
The one with the fire—Steve Harrington—glared at you suspiciously, holding a lighter in one, and a can of hairspray in the other hand. The other two were young women—strong, intimidating almost. One more so than the other.
“Everyone… this is Kas.”
“Kas?” one of the girls repeated. “She’s the one who saved your life?”
Eddie nodded. “This is Robin,” he said, nodding towards the girl who’d spoken up. “And this is Nancy, and this… is Steve.”
“Sorry about that. I thought you were…”
“It’s fine… Eddie told me you guys are generally suspicious of everything down here.”
“Can’t blame us. Last time we were everything tried to kill us.”
You blinked at him before turning your attention back to Eddie. “Why did you come back?”
“That’s a long story but…”
“One we don’t have time for right now,” Nancy interrupted. You felt the urge to snap at her and you probably would have if you didn’t still feel weak. Your wounds were regenerating but it would take your body some time to fully recover from the attack.
Fire… the one lethal thing that could kill you instantly. If Eddie hadn’t stopped him…
“Henry closed the gate you escaped through. He’s gonna make his move. Soon. I tried to come and warn you, find another one.”
“We need to get you out of here then, sweetheart.” There it was again—that adorable nickname that you liked even better than Kas. You nodded once more, too weak for your mind to toss around all those thoughts you’d surely have if you hadn’t just escaped death by a smidge.
“I’ll uh… I’ll take her back.”
“Back? You want to bring her to Hawkins? What if she—“
“She won’t, Steve,” Eddie snapped at him. But when he turned to you again, scooping you up like a bride, his voice instantly became softer again. “Can you walk?”
“… don’t know…”
“It’s okay… I’ll carry you.”
His kind offer was the last thing you heard before you finally succumbed to the welcoming darkness.
Tumblr media
“Kas? Like the vampire Kas? She’s Kas? Dude, I thought you were talking about some eerie humanoid bat person, not… not a girl!”
“Yeah no. No, that’s who I meant. I know how fucked up this is, man…” Eddie’s voice became muffled for a moment, almost as if he was hiding his face in his hands.
“So… she’s not… is she linked to Vecna? Because if she is and we kill him, wouldn’t that mean that she dies too?”
“No,” you croaked out before Eddie could respond to the other person. Two heads whipped in your direction instantly, one of which you did not recognise. You shifted uncomfortably. You were lying softly, covered with a blanket that smelled like Eddie and cigarette smoke. Someone had removed your leather coat too.
“W-where am I?”
“You’re in my bed… again.” Eddie’s cheeky grin warmed you from the inside out, even more so because he blushed. “Welcome to Hawkins, sweetheart. You’re in the real world. The Up… if you will.”
“You said… you said you wouldn’t die if we kill Vecna?” the boy with the curly hair and a hat that read Thinking Cap asked.
“That’s Dustin,” Eddie explained. “He’s a friend.”
You nodded. “No. I’ve been in the Upside Down for much longer than Henry. He’s… made this world his master but not me. I just happened to be in it when he arrived.”
“You were… born there?”
“Yes.”
“So there are others? Like you?”
You shot Eddie a hesitant glance. You hadn’t told him about that—you hadn’t wanted to freak him out even more. “There are. But not in the upside-down version of Hawkins. I was the only one there.”
“So… so you don’t have to go back eventually to not… drop dead if the gates close?” Dustin probed.
“No.” At least, that’s what you hoped. You had no solid proof that you wouldn’t turn to dust once the first ever sunbeams you had ever seen with your own eyes hit your skin either. You already had a feeling you would have to remain in the shadows as best as you could but unlike Eddie in the Upside Down… you were pretty certain you could survive in this dimension. You were not human, after all. It was in your very nature to adapt. The question was… would the humans tolerate you after all the evil that Henry had brought upon Hawkins through the gates?
“The others,” you started then, “Nancy, Robin, and Steve… are they still down there?”
“Yeah. They should be back anytime now. We uh, found another gate—by chance, really. They went back to the Creel house. Vecna’s house, trying to find… something. Anything that could help us stop him. We don’t have a lot of options left at the moment.”
You nodded once more. “What happened here in the meantime? Were you able to clear your name?”
“Not… really. Yet. I’m still in hiding, technically but uh… Hopper’s working on it.”
“Hopper?”
“He’s the Sheriff of Hawkins. Or he used to be,” Dustin intervened.
A third nod. Quite frankly, you were overwhelmed with being in a different dimension altogether—you finally understood how Eddie must have felt, especially after almost dying. You almost laughed out loud. The exact same thing had happened to you now. The irony was truly hilarious.
The noise that came from outside the trailer was audible to you first. With your enhanced hearing, you instantly made out the voices of Steve, Nancy and Robin. Moments later, the front door opened. Dustin sped out of the room, closing the door to Eddie’s room in the process.
“How are you feeling now?” Eddie asked.
“Better but… still weak.”
“Do you need more blood?”
Guilt washed over your entire body as you bit your lower lip. You were hesitant to nod for a fourth time. Eddie caught the hint nonetheless. But just when you were about to ask him to bring you an animal or a blood bag from the hospitals in this dimension, he spoke up again.
“Drink from me again.”
“Eddie…”
“Just do it, sweetheart. I’ll be fine. You need your strength back.”
Finally, the metalhead sat down on the bed with you. Your heart sped up when he pulled you onto his lap and your legs hugged his hips, his calloused fingers exploring your back.
Biting back a moan, you brushed his lovely hair out of the way—and as soon as his scent hit you, it was game over, and sunk your fangs into him and drank.
Eddie’s grip around you tightened, almost as if he was unwilling to let go of you anytime soon. Almost as if… almost as if he was enjoying it. But that was impossible, right? You were hurting him. You were sucking the very essence that kept him alive out of his body…
In your hungry haze, you noticed the door opening again only a few seconds too late. Dustin walked back in, followed by Robin, Nancy and Steve. You looked up with your teeth still lodged deep inside Eddie’s neck, noticing their horrified expressions.
I must look like a monster to them. Red eyes, dark purple veins under them, sharp fangs, and a murderous, famished expression…
You forced yourself to pull away, bloody fangs and lips surely glistening in the artificial light in Eddie’s room. You covered your mouth quickly and licked yourself clean, turning away so you wouldn’t have to face them again for a brief moment.
You could tell that Eddie was about to ask if you’d had enough or if you needed more when he too realised that you had an audience.
“Did you find anything?” Eddie asked.
“Nothing.” Steve didn’t take his eyes off of you. You leaned back again, covering yourself with Eddie’s blanket so you’d have something to do with your hands, making it clear you didn’t want any attention, especially after what they’d just witnessed.
Steve nodded towards you nonetheless. “Are you sure we can trust her, Munson? I don’t care if she’s like one of your D&D characters.”
“Wait… what? You named me after a D&D character?”
Eddie blushed. “Uh… yeah… a vampire who works for Vecna but eventually betrays and kills him.”
“Oh. Well, that sounds about right.”
“So you’re on our side.”
“Of course I’m on your side. Steve, is it, right?”
“You said you wanted to come to warn me. Us. Vecna’s gonna make his play soon?”
“I… yes. The bats will be first. Henry’s planning on opening more gates to let them all through. To let them loose in Hawkins.”
“But I thought he doesn’t control them. You do?”
“That’s… I… I wanted to tell you but…”
“You told them to attack Hawkins,” he concluded.
“No! I mean, I… I told them to invade the town once he opens the gates.”
“What! Are you crazy?” Steve bellowed. You flinched, the loud noise hurting your ears a little.
“That’s what your deal was about? You didn’t tell me that. You said the bats were harmless if they’re not provoked.”
“Eddie, I’m sorry… I couldn’t… that’s why I was about to come here. I wanted to give you a headstart, all of you. I wanted to make things right because…” Because I’m falling in love with you. You stopped yourself before you could end the sentence and embarrass yourself even further.
“So when they make it through… can you stop them?” Robin intervened. In the meantime, Nancy and Dustin only glared at you all but speechless.
“I can try.”
Eddie reached for your hand. “You said they listen to you.”
“They do but… they are simple-minded creatures. Once they’re up there, there will be more prey for them than they’ve ever known to exist. They might not aim to kill but they will attack when they get hungry. Not out of malice—simply because it’s in their nature. They want to survive. And the more food they have available to them, the more strength they can build.”
“Well that’s just great,” Steve remarked with sarcasm dripping from his voice.
“Okay, you know what… let’s call it a night. Nothing good will still come out of us arguing with her. Let’s meet again tomorrow and plan our next steps then,” Nancy said.
“Yeah… it’s a little awkward all of you standing around in my room like that.” You chuckled to yourself when Eddie grinned at them. Seeing him smile was not only a relief, it was a revelation.
“Okay, I don’t mean to freak anyone out but do we still have until tomorrow?” Robin argued.
“I can sense the bats. I’ll know. We’re safe, for now.”
“Good to know. You’re right. Not you, Munson, Nancy. We’ll catch up tomorrow. Are you sure you’re gonna be fine here… all alone… with… with Kas?”
“Yeah, I’ll be fine.”
“I’ll behave,” you added, daring a little smirk.
Steve and Robin blinked at you as if you’d just admitted to killing a puppy.
“Okay… good night, Eddie. We’ll call tomorrow.” Dustin was the only one who waved before they all staggered out of the room one by one and Eddie shifted on the bed so he could lie down next to you. You still waited until the door fell shut to scoot closer and place your head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat. Even after only such a short time… you had missed the sound of it.
“I’m… I’m really happy to see you.”
Eddie smirked. “I’m really happy to see you too. You kept my ring,” he remarked, nodding at your hand which was tracing the print on the band shirt he was wearing.
“I found it in my pocket after you’d left.”
“Nah, yeah I thought I’d leave you a little something so you wouldn’t forget me.”
“I don’t think it’s physically possible to forget someone like you, Eddie. At first… at first, I thought I’d never see you again. That’s stupid, right? We met only a couple of weeks ago.” Just say it. I like you. Three little words, so easy. Fuck… you were no silly teenager with a fear of rejection. You were a goddamn vampire, for Heaven’s sake! You could deal with a human boy not reciprocating your feelings. Feelings that seemed to consume every fibre of your being and…
Your heart stopped when his lips landed on yours. Suddenly. Out of nowhere. The kiss was almost too brief, with no tongues attempting a battle for dominance.
When he pulled away, he instantly panicked. “Sorry… was that too much? Or too soon? I… fuck, I thought I lost you there when Steve didn’t put that fucking hairspray away.”
“I guess we’re even now then. I want you… no, I need you to kiss me again.” That made him grin, mischievously so. “I wanted to stay with you. But I also wanted to go back home, you know?”
“Eddie… staying would have killed you.”
“I wanted to ask you to come with me.” Slash. Like a dagger twisting in your heart.
“Why didn’t you?”
“Because… I don’t know, isn’t it like… a big thing to ask someone to leave their dimension to live in another?” His breath was warm against your lips. You let your fingertips trail over the two bite marks you had given him.
“I had been hoping to get out. Ever since that first gate opened a few years ago. I just… didn’t have the guts to do it yet. Because of Henry… Vecna… what do you think will happen when they find out what I am, Eddie? Your friends clearly don’t trust me, in fact, I’m absolutely sure they hate me.”
“They don’t hate you. They’re… suspicious? I mean, so was I… you can be pretty mean and scary.”
You gave him a weak smile. “What about the other humans? They’ll hunt me down and shoot me dead, or lock me up in a lab to experiment on once they realise where I came from.”
“I won’t let that happen to you.”
“Promise?” you breathed out.
“Promise…” And with that, his lips were back on yours, more eager this time to drink you in like you were his last meal. Eddie’s left hand came around the back of your neck, pulling you even closer to him all the while you hooked one of your legs over his lower body, your right hand grabbing a fistful of his t-shirt.
His mouth tasted almost as divine as his blood. You could make out cigarettes, a faint hint of weed and… some sort of honeyed cornflakes and pizza. Fuck, you wanted to devour him whole.
Getting a little braver, you crawled on top of him so you could straddle him, your hands exploring his clothed chest all the while your tongue teased his soft lips, asking for entrance. Eddie’s mouth opened wider and you sought out his tongue, starting a passionate fight.
By the time he pulled away out of breath, his hands still stroking your back, you were almost too far gone to remember the threat that was lurking in the Upside Down.
“You still hungry?” he murmured.
You raised an eyebrow at him. “I’m starting to think you like me drinking from you.”
“Yeah, well, uh… it’s pretty hot… to be honest. Very metal. I… kinda enjoy it.”
Hearing those words from his mouth… fuck, you wanted to pounce on him, feed on him and fuck him all at the same time. Tilting your head with your eyes turning red, you trailed your fingertips over the side of his face, making him shiver. His brown orbs widened as soon as he noticed the colour change in yours.
“I need you to rest. I can’t take so much at once. Let your body recover first. I… could be persuaded to have another sip tomorrow.”
“But are you gonna be alright?”
You nodded. “The wounds have healed well. Perks of not being human. I’ll be back to normal by tomorrow.”
“You sure, sweetheart?” There it was again. Sweetheart. You suppressed a sigh.
“I’m sure. Let’s… let’s get some sleep.”
Eddie stole another kiss from you before he obeyed, draping the blanket over the both of you. You fell asleep in his arms, listening to his breath slowly evening out as he too wandered off to dreamland.
Tumblr media
Steve kept his promise. The next morning, it had barely struck eight am before Eddie’s phone rang, ripping you both from your slumber. The metalhead almost fell out of bed when he went to answer it, quickly barking a few words into the little construction before leaning his forehead against the wall, still half-asleep.
By the time he finally brought himself to crawl back into bed, you too managed to open your eyes, wrapping your arms around him to stay warm. You never thought you’d enjoy body heat so much. You were used to the cold, used to sleeping alone—and even though you knew that there was only so much heat that you could take, cuddling with Eddie made your heart pound and put your mind at ease. You felt safe, protected…
“Hey…”
“Hey…”
“You hungry?” You giggled like a little girl, burying your face in his neck. His excitement was tangible—in fact, you were certain you would be able to taste it if you bit him right now.
“How about you have some breakfast first? I don’t want you to faint on me.”
“Yeah, coffee and a cigarette actually do sound like a great idea.”
“A cigarette? For breakfast? I mean real food, Eddie. No wonder humans have such short lives.”
He grinned and you followed him into the kitchen. The fridge didn’t have much to offer. There was some open yoghurt in there that, according to the smell, had expired already, a half-empty egg carton, some milk, and some leftover pizza on a plate with some cling foil on top of it. Unceremoniously, Eddie took it out and chucked it in the microwave. You scrunched up your nose. In the meantime, he made sure to make himself some coffee and finally, lit himself a cigarette.
“I’m pretty sure the food I got you in the Upside Down tasted better than what you’re consuming right now.”
The metalhead shrugged. “Wayne’s gonna bring some groceries home when he gets back from his shift. Since I still can’t just… you know… stroll into a supermarket and stuff.”
“How… how did he react when he learned you’re still alive?”
“He was… relieved. Hugged me. Even cried. The old man treats me better than my own father. He’s more of a dad to me than he’ll ever be.”
“I’m glad you were in good hands then when you left.” Me. The last word you almost choked on. The microwave started beeping just when he finished his cigarette and extinguished its butt in the ashtray on the kitchen table.
Growing a little more confident about your surroundings now, you hoisted yourself up on the counter all the while Eddie dug into his left-over pizza.
By the time he only had one piece left on his plate, there was a barely visible film of fat around his lips which he quickly wiped away with the back of his hand. You smirked. So he always ate like he was starving.
Raising an eyebrow, you slid off the counter, walked over to him, and sat down on the table next to his plate. His eyes widened and his smirk… downright mischievous, even more so when you reached for his wrist and held it with both your hands. You bared your fangs and sank them into his flesh.
You certainly did not imagine the moan that escaped his lips when you broke the skin, his own food and coffee quickly forgotten. When you released him, the look on his gorgeous face was so aroused, you could have pounced on him. Maybe you could. Maybe you should.
Licking the last droplets of his blood from your lips, you pushed yourself forward so you came to sit on Eddie’s lap. Your mouth was on his before he realised what was happening, your hands grabbing fistfuls of his long hair that was still completely dishevelled from sleeping.
And once again, you became so caught up in each other that you did not hear the knock soon enough—nor the door opening and Eddie’s friends spreading inside the kitchen and living room area as if they’d seen a ghost. The only one who was missing was the kid with the hat. Dustin. You liked him.
Eddie held you tightly when you attempted to move off of him. When none of them dared say the first word, you took the initiative, braver than yesterday now that you were feeling better again too.
“You all look surprised Eddie is still alive after spending the night with me.”
“Yeah… you can’t… really… blame us,” Steve choked out. Robin nodded with an apologetic expression on her face. Nancy was the only one whose poker face was so impenetrable you were starting to wonder whether she had slept at all last night.
“This is Jonathan,” she finally said, introducing you to the stranger they had brought with them. You tilted your head. Jonathan looked like social awkwardness personified. He nodded at you with half a smile.
They’re still scared of me, you thought, biting your lower lip.
Eddie cleared his throat so they would stop staring at you. “So? Any news?”
“Uh, yeah. Joyce is on her way with El and Will.”
“What about Hopper?”
“Says he’s currently busy with filing that police report on Jason Carver to prove you didn’t kill him.”
“Right.”
“In the meantime, we need to get back to the War Zone. We need more weapons. Like, now. Are you coming with us, Munson?”
“I want to stay with Eddie,” you instantly blurted out.
The metalhead reached for your hand and squeezed it.
“No offence… but I don’t think it’s a good idea for you to roam freely around Hawkins… yet,” Steve said. He almost sounded a little like he was sorry. Perhaps he didn’t loathe you after all—even if he’d almost killed you last night.
“None taken. I don’t exactly feel ready to either. But I’m not staying here alone.”
“I’ll stay,” Eddie reassured you. “I’ll stay with you.”
“Um, Kas… we need you to tell us how we can get rid of your bats. I mean… I’m assuming you don’t want us to kill them,” Steve offered.
“Absolutely not.”
“That’s what we thought, so… is there a way to weaken them?”
You took a deep breath, contemplating whether you could trust them. If the bats got hurt, that would be on you—your fault.
“They don’t like warmth. They’ll steer away from it, just like me. If you found a way to keep Hawkins hot enough, they would retreat and hide in the woods. That’s the best advice I can offer you. I don’t want you to harm them.”
“Are they like… your children?” Jonathan asked carefully.
“No, they’re… we’re just very alike.” You didn’t elaborate and you were sure you didn’t have to, not really.
“So that’s nothing new then. Our next step should be to get in touch with Hopper, there’s gotta be a way to heat the city up so the bats will stay clear from everyone.” Nancy sounded determined, earning her an obedient nod from Jonathan.
“Just don’t… don’t make any loud noises, not like you did in the Upside Down. You’d want to get rid of what’s causing you pain too,” you added when they both turned to leave. They acknowledged it with a quick wave, leaving only Steve and Robin behind.
“That means Robin and I will head to the War Zone until El and Will get here. Take this.” Steve handed Eddie what looked like a portable phone. You realised quickly it must have been a walkie-talkie. And then, with a brief goodbye, they too were out of the door again.
For a few heartbeats, it remained silent. It was a comfortable and yet tense silence both at the same time. Eventually, you leaned your forehead against Eddie’s. You noticed only now that his wrist was still bleeding a little and he’d grabbed an old and probably used napkin on the table to cover it up.
“Who are they? El and Will?”
“El has superpowers, literally. Like… like Vecna.”
You gasped. “She must be the girl he’s coming after Hawkins for then.”
Eddie nodded, his hands caressing your waist. “And Will is the boy who went missing a few years back. Got possessed by the Mind Flayer and I think he can still… feel Vecna? I don’t know, it’s all so fucked up.”
“I’ve heard of him. I never saw him but there was this red-haired girl…” Guilt washed over you as you bit your lower lip. That girl had been one of those victims you had fed on—she’d been too far gone to stay alive for much longer and still…
“A… a red-haired girl? Was she… was she wearing a cheerleading uniform… by any chance?”
“I… no, she wore glasses and high-waisted trousers.”
“Oh…”
“Who is… was the other girl?”
“Chrissy. She… uh… she died right here in our… in our living room.” Eddie’s brown eyes trailed over to where Vecna must have taken her life, creating a gate and spreading fear and horror. Your lips parted the more distant Eddie became and you quickly realised why.
“You have survivor’s guilt…”
“What?”
“That girl… an innocent girl died and there was nothing you could have done to save her. Eddie, it’s not your fault. This is Vecna.”
“Yeah… yeah…” Clearing his throat, he tore his gaze away from the invisible spot in the living room. “I just wish I didn’t run away, you know.”
“Eddie… I saw you in the Upside Down. You’re brave. And… you’ve got a vampire sitting on your lap right now.”
He laughed. “Yeah, I guess… that’s true.”
“When does your uncle get home again?”
“Should be another hour or so.”
“Good. Then how about we continue where we left off?”
Eddie swallowed. As if you’d flipped a switch on him, his brown eyes glistened with unfulfilled desire yet again. “Are you sure?”
You let your eyes turn red. Eddie grinned when you bared your fangs at him and winked. “I’m sure. Are you?”
He nodded and you watched him frown when you gently pushed the wrist he offered you away to focus on his neck instead. His scent was intoxicating when your nose brushed against his sensitive skin.
Perhaps it would take a while longer for Eddie’s friends to accept you the way he had. Perhaps you too, much like Eddie, would have to live in hiding for a few months. But once Vecna was gone… once your bats were back in the Upside Down safely and all threats to his life, to all of their lives, were eliminated… then maybe you’d both get your happy end. You both deserved it.
@spicycinnabun and I expanded the friends prompt. Hope you enjoy the angsty fluff from us ❤️️
My Buddy, My Bro, My Pal The party had been going on for about an hour or so. Steve was hosting. He didn’t know when Eddie had arrived but could hear his voice, and then he saw him chatting with Jonathan and Nancy. Steve shot him a smile from across the room. He was so happy Eddie was there. It’d been a long work week, and they hadn’t seen each other since last weekend. He couldn’t wait until they got a moment to greet each other. Chrissy and Robin were there, too, so Eddie had plenty of people to talk to while Steve was making the rounds.
Steve was just catching up with some of his friends who had gone off to college. Everyone was back home visiting their own families during the school break. It’d been a perfect time for a party with his parents out of town.
When Steve finally broke away from the conversation, it was to refill some of the snacks and drinks. He ran into Eddie in the kitchen. “Hey, man. Happy you made it.” Steve went in for a half hug and gave Eddie’s back a few hard pats as he pulled back and smiled at him. “How’s my good buddy doing? Did you get a drink?”
There it was again. The word Eddie so loathed. Buddy.
Eddie thought that shit was going to stop once they’d started fooling around together, but if anything, it had only increased. Buddy this, bro that. Once, Steve had even called him pal.
Eddie should have grinned. He should have played along like he usually did. But he was four vodka Cokes in, and his feelings were more feelingy, weeks of pent-up frustration hitting its peak.
So, he did something monumentally bold and got into Steve’s space, putting his (fifth) drink down and backing him up against one of the counters. “You know what? Buddies don’t kiss each other,” Eddie said, breathing the word harshly between them. His fists clenched at his sides. “Yeah, you… You’ve definitely had a few.” Steve could smell the alcohol on his breath. He was worried they were standing too close to the gas stove. Eddie saw Steve’s eyes widen, his head twitching like he was just barely concealing the urge to look around and make sure nobody had heard that. Eddie barrelled on. It was a courtesy that he was even lowering his voice. He didn’t have to. “If you want to keep on pretending that’s all we are, you go right ahead, Steve. But I won’t be.”
Steve’s heart sped up like it normally did when Eddie got close to him. His eyebrows rose as the counter dug into his ass. This would’ve been really fucking hot if Eddie wasn’t so angry at him. He was surprised that Eddie had that reaction to his comment. He thought it was an innocent enough statement, but clearly, he had struck the wrong chord.
Steve’s eyes were doing all the reacting, looking at Eddie but dying to see if anyone had overheard. If they had, it probably wouldn’t have made sense to them anyway. No one knew he’d seduced Eddie into more than just kissing him. Friends didn’t kiss or fuck each other like wild rabbits, either.
Steve shook his head. “I’m not pretending. I didn’t know that you wanted this to be an official thing. I thought you wanted to keep things casual,” he said coolly, even though his heart was beating out of his chest. “I’m open to something more exclusive if that’s what you want.”
They hadn’t talked about what they were, but if Eddie was gonna call him out so aggressively and publicly at his own damn party, he was going to get Eddie to admit that he wanted to be his boyfriend. What he had been doing was bullying him about being friendly and excited to see him. Wasn’t this a mutual decision they needed to come to before feelings got involved? It was too damn late for that, apparently, with Eddie’s alcohol-induced liberty.
Eddie was short-circuiting. Thrown completely off. “Excuse me, what?”
Heat rose to Eddie’s face with the speed of a Nascar driver, leaving a burning trail up his cheeks. He had been… like, one hundred percent sure Steve was deeply in the closet, and that was why he kept insisting they were friends and not, you know, fuck buddies. More than dudes who spent time together. Steve didn’t call any of the chicks he slept with what he called Eddie, right?
“I—I never said we have to be official,” Eddie finally said. His face was blisteringly hot at this point. Had Steve actually said he was open to it? To him? To dating Eddie? Fuck. “I just thought…” Eddie swallowed (fuuuuuck), “…you wanted to hide me under the rug like some bro. So I was pissed about that.”
Did Eddie want to go steady with Steve?
Hell yes!
He had been infatuated with the hairy bastard long before they’d started sleeping together.
“I would be amenable to. Um. To being exclusive. With you. Yes.” God, he was usually way smoother than this. His fists finally uncurled. He looked at Steve uncertainly. “Do… you want to?”
Steve had said he was open, but what did that mean? Open wasn't really yes.
“I invited you here.” Steve wanted to end the night alone with Eddie.
They’d spent the last few weekends in his bedroom, exploring every inch of each other’s bodies. (Steve didn’t even know he had that many moles and that there really was one there. He’d laughed like a hooligan, and it felt like he was gonna break his neck trying to find it in the mirror. Eddie had helped him find it eventually.)
Steve hadn’t been exclusive with anyone since he’d gotten with Nancy, but the thought of being with anyone other than Eddie made his stomach hurt.
“And we hadn’t talked about it yet,” Steve pointed out. He wasn’t lying. He was open to it because he’d been thinking about it. He saw the way Eddie’s demeanor changed from hurt to hopeful. “I brought it up, didn’t I? Yes, Eddie, that’s what I want. I promise not to refer to you as my friend, without boy in front of friend ever again.”
Steve wanted to prove it. It was his party, and he could kiss who he wanted to. While Eddie had been so concerned about being a secret hookup, Steve was only concerned about what would make them both happy. He knew kissing each other did, so to hell with what everyone at the party thought about Steve “The Hair” Harrington kissing Eddie “The Freak” Munson. They could get the fuck out and leave them the hell alone if they didn’t like it.
Steve smiled and kissed his boyfriend for the first time. Eddie, still stunned but quickly getting with the program, clutched Steve’s hips and kissed him back.
In the background, they heard Robin and Chrissy cheering. “Nancy, you owe us twenty bucks!” Robin yelled.
Bloodlust part 6
-Touch Her, I Dare You-
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Warnings: angst and violence
A/n: picture by me. i rewrote this so many times its unreal.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Slowly opening my eyes, i groaned in pain. my left eye felt swollen. my right eye, instantly mapping out the entire space. I was now in a chair, arms now bound behind me. The room looks like the attic of the creel house.
“Shit.” I breathed out,  the house is on the other side of the town.
"Welcome back, y/l/n." Jason says as he appears in my field of vision.
"What do you want, Carver?"
"I want you to suffer." he teases the tip of the knife against my cheek
"Suffers for what? Jason, if you don't let me out, i'll..."
"You'll what?" he laughs. "You're weak and useless."
i narrowed my eyes, growling.
"You know nothing about me, how about you untie me and fight me, unless you're afraid that a girl will kick your ass" i thrashed and tried to fight my way out of the tight rope, rubbing my wrist raw to the point they were bleeding.
i spit in his face. "You bitch!" he yells , slapping my face. grunting from impact, and then faced him.
"The only bitch I see here is you!" i hissed, despite my pain. "You're going to regret Kidnapping me."
"Shut your mouth!" Jason voice boomed. He slapped me harder. how much can someone withstand getting slapped? panting the pain was starting to get overwhelming. my vision was getting spotty again. he huffed and paced around me.
~B-Baby, can you hear me...I-i need you~ i hoped Eddie could hear me. my head lulled forward.
Jason gripped my hair, forcing me to look at him. this is starting to get annoying
“ Is that all you got, Carver?..... i've walked through hell and back before.... so try harder, " i was provoking him.
“i said Shut up you bitch.” He stabs me in the thigh and to make matters worse he also punches me in the stomach. I made a muffed scream. causing me to look down as i grit my teeth in pain.
~please baby, can you hear me?~
“Rise your fucking head and look at me freak.”
I didn’t raise my head. That only led to my chin being grabbed and yanked up. I winced.
“I don't know why Chrissy was your best friend. You are white trash filth”
“She was my best friend because she didn't care about status and being the queen of high school. Something that you will never understood" I sneered, this caused him to grip my chin tighter.
"If only you knew something was torturing her within her mind, you could have saved her." i spat. i didn't even know until it was too late. Memories of her filled my mind. i'm sorry, Chrissy, i couldn't save you.
*small flash back*
Chrissy wanted to hang out with us after the game because she didn't feel like being with Jason and his drunk teammates. everything was fine until she started acting skiddish, and then all of a sudden, she was unresponsive and levitating, Eddie and I witnessed her life being taken. we ran, and since it happened at his trailer, he got the full blame.
*end of flash back*
"Your boyfriend killed her with his satanic powers"
i started laughing. "Eddie is innocent, that man couldn't hurt a fly," but now, he is going to kill you for touching me, I thought to myself.
“ You know what.... If you are so desperate of getting rid of Hawkins filth, why are you taking so long?” I teased him. His hands instantly gripped my throat. He flings me down. The impact made me gasp. He cut the rope around my waist that was attached to the chair. i rolled over and kicked him in the shin. When he fell, i kicked him in the jaw. he looked at me fury in his eyes as spit blood to the floor.
"shit."
"oh you're going to regret that bitch" he stalks over to me, i try to squirm away but he reached me and started to drag me across the attic by my feet.
~Eddie!~ I screamed in my thoughts.
*Eddie pov*
there was something wrong. She was 2 hours late from her schedule shift. was she still working? or did she say she was doing something after work? suddenly heard her voice in my head
~B-baby, can you hear me?... i-i need you.~
~please baby, can you hear me.~
~Eddie!~ the fear in her voice sent a chill down my spin. i needed to find her. grabbing the walkie, i needed answers.
"Henderson, do you copy? it's Kas over." i used my new codename for the first time.
"i copy Kas, whats up." Dustin says.
"we have a code red, i think y/n is in trouble."
"WHAT?!"
"Just get everyone at our house now!" i screamed in the walkie.
everyone showed up at lightning speed.
"What happened? how do you know she's in trouble?" Robin says.
"The mind link she sounded in pain and afraid"
"Jesus Christ. she could be anywhere." Steve says.
"i can feel that she is still in this world, at least." i quickly say.
this sort of relaxed everyone. but Lucas looked terrified.
"um- i hope i'm wrong about this." he says.
"wrong about what, Sinclair?" i questioned.
"I- i think Jason kidnapped her."
"WHAT?!, i thought that Psychotic fucker was dead." i started to pace around the room.
"i wish that was true, but he was sent to prison when He got caught trying to kill me in the creel house. he got out this morning because of his fathers money."
"i'm going to kill him!" i yelled and threw a vase against the wall.
" Eddie, be calm, y/n needs you, we will find her." Nancy cautiously grabbed my arm, trying to calm me down.
" No, Wheeler, this is my fault since he thinks i just disappeared on her. she is the closest thing to linking her to her best friend murder. and since she's dating "a cult leader," he's going to hurt her more." i was getting more stressed. until i heard one word from her mind.
~creel!~
"i know where she is." i said as I threw the front door open, running full speed. when i got closer, i could smell blood..... her blood.
*Y/N POV*
I was being dragged towards the stairs. I managed to get free from his grip and raced down the stairs, almost making it the foyer. When he tackled me down. i couldn't brace myself from the impact to the floor. i began to cry from fear and pain.
~creel!~ i screamed, attempting to contact Eddie once more.
“you're not going anywhere.” He brings the knife to my throat. He raises it above his head and plunges it towards me, but before it made contact, he was ripped away from me. I can hear snarling and a familiar voice “touch her again. I dare you.”
Jason was struggling against Eddie's grip on his neck.
“What the fuck.” Jason struggled to breath out when he noticed Eddie's fangs and crimson eyes.
"i told you my favorite monster has fangs." i mocked him.
Jason stabs Eddie in the side, which causes him to let go of him. Eddie started to laugh. Jason ran the short distance towards me and picked me up using me as a human shield, the knife at throat . This made Eddie freeze instantly. he growls, showing off his fangs.
“Stay away from us, freak. Your little slut is going to die first, then you.”
~be ready~ i say to him looking straight into his crimson eyes.
“I wouldn't provoke him more than you already have, you royally pissed him off by hurting me" I say as i whipped my head back connecting with his nose. i felt a sharp pain in my lower abdomen. Everything had been moving so fast before and now the time seemed too slow as i look down at my stomach. The knife was impaled in your stomach. Blood dripped down my skin, a dark red seeped onto my shirt. i fell to the floor.
I felt the air shift from Eddie moving so fast, and then a blood curdling scream was heard, and then there was silence, I looked up to see Jason splattering blood everywhere from his throat being ripped out. By Eddie's mouth.
His mouth was dripping with blood. He slowly moved his tongue across his teeth, savoring the copper taste. What blood he didn't savor dripped onto the space of bare chest between his leather and denim jacket.
Eddie rushed to me, Slicing the tight rope that bound my hands with his sharp nails that instantly grew out his normal dull nails. Once he removed the rope, he retracted them.
~ You came~ I didn't want to speak. I was too tired from experiencing abuse for hours.
“You called.” he said as he picked me up bridal style.
“Sorry for taking so long.” guilt riddled his voice.
~ It's ok baby, you're here now.~ I reached for his face and smiled when his head sank into my hand.
"Please, let's go home." I croaked.

Okay so we all know that Eddie is just a huge dork (and we love him for it) but just imagine trying to get up from where you're laid in bed together and he's clinging to you, trying to stop you. "But I gotta use the bathroom Eds, please" you whine, doing your best to try and untangle yourself from his hold, failing miserably and just accepting the fact you'll either have to hold it or carry him to the bathroom with you if he will not let go.
"Fine, hurry back otherwise I'll be coming to get you," he pouts, finally but reluctantly letting you go.
You do, taking his promise of coming to find you very seriously as if it was a threat but when you get back to his bedroom, he's refusing to move to let you back on the bed claiming that you'll have to climb over him. Calling his bluff, you kneel on the edge of the bed and throw one leg over him, stopping as you giggle down at him from where you are now practically straddling his lap, "Hey handsome" you laugh at his surprised face but your laughter breaks into a shriek of surprise when he's wrapping his arms around your middle and flipping the two of you over so you're on your back and his body is resting between your legs as he buries his face in your chest.
"Can't move now" he says, voice muffled by your shirt as he tilts his head so he can peer up at you with those beautiful big eyes of his. You can tell he's pleased with himself but truth be told you wouldn't be anywhere else and you move your hands to gently play with his hair which makes him hum happily and nuzzle his face further into your chest in a way that feels like he's urging you to carry on.
There would also be a huge chance that he would fall asleep like that, so no matter if you are comfortable or not, you'd be stuck like that for a few hours (maybe the whole night) because let's face it who would want to wake him when he looks so adorable and peaceful like that.

Pairing: Eddie Munson x sibling!reader
Summary: Your Eddie’s younger sibling and Eddie tries to comfort you after a tough day at school
A/N: Hello! This fic was requested by the lovely @kaitykat20 ! I loved writing this, it was pretty special for me as I have a similar relationship with my big brother. He and I always have heart to heart convos in the car every week and he’s helped me through more problems than I can count. I hope you all are ready for some big brother Eddie!
Tumblr media
“Hey Weirdo!” Eddie called out as you hurried up to your big brother’s van, a bright smile on his face once he saw you. You shot him a glare as you brushed past him as you made your way to his passenger side door and yanked it open, ignoring the, “Hey!” he called out as you slammed and locked the door behind you.
Eddie ran to the other side of the car and jumped into the drivers side seat, looking at you as he shut the door. “What’s gotten into you Weirdo?” He asked, concern clear in his voice. He didn’t really need to ask, he’s seen how the other kids in your year here at Hawkins High could treat you, but you asked him not to get involved and he wanted to respect your boundaries. Even if it upset him to see you so hurt.
“Stop calling me that Eddie. Let’s just go home.” You snapped, turning away from him completely to look out the window. You ignored the sad sigh your brother let out as he started the ignition. The old van thundered to life and began rumbling comfortingly around you as you rested your head against the cold glass and squeezed your eyes shut.
You were Eddie’s younger sibling, a product of your father’s second marriage after leaving Eddie’s mom many years ago. You were raised together as best as your parents could while being in separate houses, but you started spending everyday together once you both wound up at your Uncle Wayne's house after issues with your parents became too unstable for you both.
You loved your brother and your Uncle, but just being born into this family immediately put a target on your back. Most days you could tell all the kids at school to fuck off, it’s not like any of it was in your control after all. But some days, much like today, you couldn’t handle it. Couldn’t handle the fact that the other kids made fun of you both for having different moms, how you couldn’t afford school lunches or new clothes, how you lived in a trailer park. Everything out of your control, yet somehow your fault.
The ride home was quiet- well, besides the music your brother was always blaring- as Eddie didn’t know what to say or do. He wanted to help, say something encouraging or comforting. But what could he say that he hasn’t told you multiple times over the years? The bullying never stopped, Eddie had just grown a thicker skin over the years. So who was he to tell you it’ll get better when you can clearly see that it wouldn’t? He drummed his fingers on his steering wheel in thought, wracking his brain for anything he could do to at least get you to smile again. Even if it didn’t fix everything.
You threw yourself from the van as soon as Eddie parked in front of the little trailer, barely even waiting for him to come to a complete stop before you jumped out and slammed the door behind you as you practically ran into the trailer. Eddie groaned as he rubbed his face in frustration at himself, he needed to figure out what to do.
The metalhead quickly followed you into the home and sighed as he saw your bedroom door shut, your favorite band blaring through his old stereo -another hand-me-down item that you had to deal with while everyone else got something new- as you drowned out the world.
“What’s going on with them?” Wayne asked from his spot on the small couch as he shoved his shoes on to get ready for work.
“They wouldn’t tell me, but I think the other kids were being mean again.” Eddie replied dejectedly as he plopped on the couch next to his uncle.
“Ah, right.” Wayne sighed. He tried his best and knew you loved and appreciated him, but it was hard for him to know that he couldn’t improve your situation as much as he wanted, for both you and Eddie. “Well, maybe try talkin’ to them later. Give ‘em some cool off time and maybe you can go on one of your drives while I’m out. You know how that usually helps at least a little.” He suggested with a little knowing look. “There’s leftovers, but here’s a little McDonalds money. Get them some fries.” He said, pulling a small wad of cash out of his pocket and handing it to the boy. Eddie knew this was most definitely his uncle's money for lunch, but he also knew that Wayne wouldn’t take it back if Eddie tried to refuse so he just nodded.
Wayne got up with a little groan and Eddie hid a wince, working so many hours a week at his age was tough on his body. It wasn’t helped by the fact that even though he moved you all into a 2 bedroom trailer as soon as he could, he wanted you both to have your own spaces and chose to sleep on a small fold up bed in the living room every day. Eddie hoped that he knew how much both of you appreciated everything he did for you. “Thanks Uncle Wayne.” Eddie said with a small, sad, smile.
“No need to thank me, Eddie, you know that.” The man mumbled as he threw on his coat and grabbed his keys.
“Stay safe. Come back home.” Eddie said simply, it was the closest thing the two men could say to saying ‘I love you’.
“Stay safe. Come back home.” Wayne nodded back, shooting your door one final concerned look before he walked out of the trailer.
~
It was hours later and you still hadn’t come out of your room and you were starting to get hungry. You were still upset, but calmer now, and you were deciding if you should go out and finally talk with Eddie and get some food. As if on cue, there was a knock on your door.
“Hey, weird- Little M?” Eddie called out over your music, correcting himself after you asked him to stop calling you his normal nickname for you, choosing his back up from when you were young kids. A small ghost of a smile appeared on your face at his effort, he was always trying to be a good brother. “Listen, Wayne gave us some money, wanna go get fries?” He asked, still outside as he waited for your response.
Your stomach grumbled at the idea of nice, hot, crispy fries and you sighed. You knew that this wasn’t just a ride to get fries. Every time one of you had a bad day you’d get in the van to drive around and talk it out. Whether it was from a fight between you two, or issues at school, the van was your safe place to work through it and Eddie knew that. You chewed on your lip anxiously for a moment as you decided whether you were ready and sighed lightly as you got up and turned off the stereo. “I’ll be out in a minute Eddie.” You replied as you started putting on your shoes.
“I’ll meet you in the van.” He said, you could hear the relief in his voice and felt a pang of guilt. You hated worrying your family, knowing that it wasn’t their fault that you were going through this, you were all struggling in some way. You just let it get to you a little more than they seemed to.
You shrugged on your jacket as you walked out of the trailer, spying the small smile Eddie shot you as you bounded up to the van. “Ready?” He asked as you got situated in your seat, only pulling out of his parking spot once you sent him a little nod.
The town flew by you as Eddie sped through the sleepy streets, the mixtape he had made just for you blaring through the speakers as he drove the familiar path to the restaurant. He let you sit in silence together on the way there and as he pulled through the drive-thru and ordered your food, only finally deciding to talk as he drove out onto the street again, turning down a back road to take the long way back to the trailer park.
“What happened, Little M?” He asked gently after he lowered the music so you could talk.
You chewed the fries in your mouth slowly as you thought of what to say, “Tyler was making fun of me at lunch, talked about dad and how he’s in jail and called me trailer park trash again. Everyone laughed and piled on.” You sighed out, not noticing the way your brother’s hands tightened briefly around the steering wheel. “I know you’re gonna tell me to just ignore them, but it’s hard Eddie.” You said, Eddie’s heart clenched at how sad you sounded.
“I know it is. I know how hard it is, I promise.” He said seriously, shooting you a quick knowing look before turning back to the street with a sigh. “I’m sorry if I ever-” He paused, briefly chewing on his lip as he thought of the right words to say. “I’m sorry if I ever made you feel like you shouldn’t be upset about it, or that you have to just ignore it. You don’t. Fuck, I don’t even ignore it every time. I just try to hide it from you.” He admitted with a little shake of his head. “I just hoped that maybe you’d believe that it gets easier to ignore and maybe it would be. I should have just been there for you more.”
You stared at your big brother for a long moment as you took in his words, watching as he mumbled the words to the song playing softly through the speakers as he waited for you to respond. “You have been there for me Eds, you and Uncle Wayne have been here for me more than anyone else ever has. I think it’d be much harder if I was still with my mom.” You said quietly, shoving some fries into your mouth quickly. “I did take a page out of your book today though.” You said with a small smile.
“Oh?” Eddie asked with a raised eyebrow, your smile mirrored on his face as he stole some fries out of your bag, “What’d you do this time mini me?” He teased lightly.
“Before the rest of the kids joined in, I flipped him off after he talked about dad and said that I couldn’t wait for his dad to go to jail too from selling all those shitty used cars. The whole town knows they’re full of stolen car parts. He did not like that.” You chuckled out, beaming when Eddie busted up laughing.
“Oh I’m sure he didn’t. Did he make that pinched up face and get all red again?” He asked as he took a screeching sharp turn, happy to hear your excited laughter as he did.
“Yeah, he looked like a tomato!” You laughed out as you held onto the door handle as the van swung.
Eddie sped up on a deserted piece of road, driving like a maniac as he was fueled by your giggles, the two of you screaming the lyrics to the Black Sabbath song blaring through the speakers. The van was both of your safe place for stuff like this. You remember when Eddie got the van, you were 13 and he was 16, and as soon as he came back to the trailer with it he told you to hop in and took you for a joyride around Hawkins. There had been countless rides around the state, camping in the van by the lake, rides to theme parks when you had a little extra money. Every issue you had in the last 4 years had been solved in this van.
“I know you know,” Eddie started as he slowed down to be only minorly speeding as the trailer park came into view. “But I’ll always be here for you Little M. No matter what.” He promised, shooting you a gentle smile.
“I know that Eddie. Thank you. I know you sometimes don’t feel like it, but you’re the best brother I could ask for.” You said, returning his smile as he parked in front of the trailer. “And you can go back to calling me Weirdo. I like it.”
Eddie beamed at you, relieved that you were finally feeling better and touched by your words. “Okay Weirdo, thank you. Let’s go watch that movie we rented yesterday again okay?” He asked before pulling you into a quick hug.
“Sounds good Eds.” You chuckled as you were crushed in your brother’s arms.

haven’t seen a lot of people writing eddie with a spit kink but i know he would indulge in it, filth under the cut 18+
the dialogue of a movie plays in the background. the scene before you is at the peak in its plot, some action movie with loud noises eddie put on after you had shared takeout together. the volume of the tv did nothing to drown out the slow, sloppy, messy, and desperate kisses. his now swollen lips had been tending to you for the entire second half of the movie. “so messy f’me”, he’d whisper between the booms of the explosions and the swaps of spit.
earlier in the evening you were both on the couch facing the screen until eddie distracted you. he had innocently wrapped his arm around you and thrown a blanket over his legs to get comfortable. as he cocooned into himself he brought you in closer to his side so he could adjust you. eddie moved your legs over his under the blanket, and burrowed his chin and nose into the nape of your neck. you hummed sleepily at his warm gesture. “so soft..” he’d sigh. his breath tickling you.
then he was being not so bashful. he danced the bridge of his nose on your soft throat till you were squirming in his lap, and with wandering lips he slowly left featherlight kisses down your neck and then back up. when you released a soft sigh and relaxed in eddie’s arms his tongue flattened out from between his lips and began painting you with his mark. his saliva dripping down, down, down till he was lapping it up. eddie would repeat this, over and over till your shirt collar was wet with evidence of his need to savor you.
the cold air when he would pull away every so often caused you to tense up. he could feel the chills spreading over your arms as your thighs clenched in his lap. eddie loved having the power over you and when he dove back in he would sloppily nip your neck with his canines then soothe you with his warm tongue. granting you relief with his hot body. it was a large contrast of the hot and cold, pain and pleasure. a whisper of —“did you like that, baby?”, dying on his tongue and muffled by your skin. when you would whimper he would breathe harder. shielding his groans that were escaping him. eddie trying and failing to hide the fact that he was enjoying this more than you.
after your neck was sure to be bruised and pink with lovebites. he pulled away again. he grabbed you by the throat softly and pinched your cheeks. he popped a kiss onto your pinched lips that made a smack sound. your neck was wet and his eyes were wide. you looked so pretty under him while your loose baby hairs stuck to your now sticky throat. the image in front of him just increased his hunger. after the sweet gesture of the previously innocent kiss, the boy turned your face and licked up your cheek. he was slow and articulate. you could tell he was wanting to taste you, really taste you.
he reached the top of your cheekbone when you tried moving away from his gross behavior. the grip on your neck tightened. his eyes bored into yours forcing you to freeze. “be still. not done with you yet”. he growled at you, eddie pried open your mouth with his long fingers. “get my fingers nice and wet for me, yeah?” he asked but he didn’t need your permission. his pointer and middle finger pushed onto your tongue abruptly causing you to gag. you produced more spit. he pulled his fingers out and let the bodily fluid drip down your chin.
“oh.. fuck” he paused, “you’re such a tease”. he watched you perform for him. your pink muscle moving in circles around him and flicking over his fingertips before letting the drool fall out of your mouth and down your chin. the principal of it was disgusting, but eddie liked disgusting, and he loved you. he moved his fingers away from your mouth and into his own. he made a show of sticking out his tongue and catching the string of spit that sat between his fingers that were shaped in a v in front of you. you moaned for him. he grunted.
“open that pretty mouth for me again, sweetheart”, he almost begged. you obeyed him with mercy, unsure what was going to come next. “stick out your tongue… yeah, baby.. just like that, pretty girl”. eddie praised you briefly. your lips were swollen, drool continued to drip down your face and your throat was wide. “c’mere”.
eddie moved you so your mouth was below his. he closed his mouth and you watched as his throat gathered his own spit into a pool on his tongue. he opened his jaw slowly and held you exactly where he needed you. he hummed in satisfaction when you stayed put, watching him with big doe eyes. his glob of saliva he had produced fell on your pink muscle and he watched with admiration as you swallowed. the boy above you groaned.
the credits of the movie were rolling as he roughly grabbed you and forced you onto your knees in front of him on the couch. the blanket long gone because both of you were so hot. eddie pulled you up off the floor for a moment. another messy and grueling kiss hit you. he didn’t care that his tongue was barely in your mouth and that yours was all over his lips and cheeks. all eddie cared about was having you be dirty for him. only him. a string of spit connected your lips. eddie sucked it up, and you crouched back down on your knees.
the vhs tape clicked off and the blue screen of the tv illuminated his frame as he ripped off his shit shirt and struggled with his belt.
“be good and put that dirty mouth on me. need to feel how wet your pretty throat is, baby.” he moaned for you as you listened to his belt click off. he pulled the denim of his jeans down with his boxers. his hard leaking cock jumped out and he wrapped his large palm around the base. you drooled at the sight.
“now, spit on it.”

Who ever this is better be on fire.
It's your first, and frankly, only thought when the phone (that's less than a foot from your head) rings at 1:14 in the morning.
You blindly reach for it on your nightstand, and mumble a semi-coherent 'hello' into the receiver.
"Hiya, Sweetheart."
Eddie. You shoot up like a rocket. Why is he calling you now?
"Ah shit, I didn't wake you did I?"
Based on the background volume, you're confident he didn't even know where he was, let alone the time. You decide to go easy on him--he is your best friend after all.
...and you're kinda hopelessly in love with him, but that's neither here nor there.
"Hmm, it's 1:15 in the morning, Eds. What do you think?" You're voice is sweet, he knows you're not mad, but man does he feel guilty.
"Fuck, I didn't even see the damn clock. I just," Eddie pauses, you hear a sigh, followed by what sounded like him taking a sip of whatever he picked to be his poison tonight. "I needed to talk to you."
You chuckle, "Eddie, we were together all day, and I'm pretty sure I'll be bringing you hangover bagels in the morning--"
"Hope so...can never get enough of you. Never, never, never." He was speaking quieter now, like his words were just meant for you.
Because they were.
You stomach did backflips. This shit definitely wasn't helping the little crush you had on Eddie, the one that you're desperately trying to ignore.
"Eddie..." It's all you can say.
He's smiling now, you can hear it in his voice, "What is it pretty girl? Love when you say my name, ya know. Sounds so good coming from that mouth of yours."
You fall against your pillows, thighs parting; like your mind is inviting him in. You hear the chaos surrounding him, and you can only imagine what he looks like. Hiding on the phone in the middle of a party, all so he call you, talk to you.
"Eds, you're drunk. Do you even know what you're saying right now?"
Please say yes, please say yes, please don't break my heart and not even remember doing it in the morning.
Your stomach is in knots, then you hear him laugh. "Sweetheart, I'm three sheets to the wind--I can't remember my own god damn address or who the president is, but you're face...your gorgeous fucking face is clear as day for me, baby."
The throbbing between your legs doubled--no, tripled. "Eds, you--you can't just say things like that to me."
"Why not? It's true. You're so fucking pretty," You don't see it but Eddie spins, checking over his shoulder to see if anyone is listening too close. "And you're ass is smokin'."
"Eddie!" You gasp.
You're no stranger to Eddie's brazen ways. He's not exactly shy when it comes to sharing his opinion, but this? This is new.
and you love it.
"Sorry, I'm sorry...shit, I know we're friends and this is probably so fuckin' weird," he sighed, leaning his forehead against the beige wall in front of him. "but last weekend? At The Hideout? You wore that leather skirt--you know the one with the metal chains going up your thigh?"
"Mmm," you tease. "I know the one."
"Can't get you outta my head. Took my breath away. You looked so fucking good and I can't stop jerkin' off to the sight of you dancing to my song, looking like that."
Is this really happening? Does he mean any of this? You gotta do something...test the waters.
"Glad you liked it, Eds." You're voice is shaking with nerves. You'll be mortified if you flirt back and he get's weirded out or doesn't reciprocate. So you take a deep breath, twirling your finger around the cord of your phone. "'Cause it was all for you, ya know."
Eddie was silent--speechless. Your heart pounded in your chest. Did I mess up? Your eyes screwed shut, cringing at your stupidity, when you hear Eddie make a strained noise.
A moan.
"Yeah, sweet girl? All that was for me?"
You sigh, relieved he's into this still; into you. "'Course, who else would it be for? Wanna make you happy, Eds. Wanna be good for you."
Was it bold? Yeah. But Eddie started this, and you'll be damned if you don't finish it.
"Fuck," He breathes. "You are, Baby. You're so good for me. Such a good girl."
It suddenly gets quiet for a moment on Eddie's side of the phone. You hear the latch of a door, and rustling.
"What are you doin' right now, Sweetheart?" He's alone now, and you know it.
So you let your hand fall between you thighs, teasing yourself lightly through your underwear.
"Right now?" You flirt, "Right now, I'm really wishing it wasn't my fingers keeping me company."
Eddie's dead. He has to be dead, right? There's no way you're showing him this side of you, no way you're into him the way he's into you.
Right?
He's gotta be sure, gotta test the waters.
"You teasin' yourself, pretty girl?"
His tone is raspy, a version of his voice you've never heard before. For you and only for you, and you can't get enough if it.
"Mmm, maybe I am. What are you doing, Eddie? Sounds pretty quiet for a party."
He ignores your question.
"You like being teased, Baby? God, the things I could do to you..." He's practically moaning. Palming himself through his jeans like a god damn teenager.
You press down on your clit, a soft moan of your own passing your lips, and Eddie hears it.
"Fuck, sweetheart. You make such pretty sounds for me. Could live between those legs of yours, I know it."
You're breathing heavy now, your hand comes up and pinches your nipple. "What do you wanna do to me, Eddie?"
He moans again, "Wanna make my face your throne, Princess. Eat that pussy 'til she can't take no more. Wanna taste you for the next three days, God..." he inhaled sharply, "Bet you taste so fuckin' sweet."
"Fuck, Eddie."
"You touchin' yourself, baby?"
You nod, knowing he can't see you.
"Yeah you are, play with that pretty pussy for me." He growls.
You could cum right now, but it doesn't feel right. Something is missing--he's missing.
"Need you, Eds. Need you now."
You once again hear a door, and the music return louder than before. "Yo! Buckley! You sober up yet?"
You hear Robin's distant reply, "Yeah, yeah...why?"
"I need a ride--now."
Eddie's whispering when he comes back to the phone, "Don't stop touching yourself 'til I get there, Sweetheart. Want that pussy dripping for me."
You shiver, "Yes, Sir."
Eddie groans, "You're gonna be the death of me, aren't you?
