Do u have any permanent problems after your eating disorder?

Yes. Not as bad as some people thank God. I have one friend who has osteoporosis..23 years old..

I have severe anemia. My red blood cell count is very low. So its not just about iron. I have to take iron & B12 but I don’t break it down well so I have to eat things high in both vitamins and my pills have an enzyme that breaks it down. Because of my thin blood, I cannot drink very much. I also bleed out more when cut. So when I had surgery (for nose polyps due to suppressed immune system) I bled too much and took longer to heal.

Even with this, I will still always be severely anemic. But if I don’t take the pills and eat the right things, I get very sick. That happened to me this summer bc i wasn’t paying attention. My bones were brittle and frail, my hair was thinning, I was more pale than I already am, I had vertigo (dizzy can’t walk straight), I felt very weak, lost weight, and I passed out once. I missed work the majority of this summer bc of illness. My doctor said if I am not careful, I can develop gastrointestinal cancer.

I have and will always have a supressed immune system. Meaning it is very difficult for me to fight off illness. If I get a cold, I get it for much longer than most people and it takes more out of me. I take extra vitamins to help boost defenses.

But when I’m monitoring, its not that bad. I know other girls with worse issues from eating disorders. Even out of recovery, you may still experience issues depending on how bad your ed was before you got help.

completely disregarding what i said five seconds ago about answering in the morning i’m GLAD YOU AAAASKED😄😁😁 we’ll start with the backstory first. strap in

ok so my irls and i have this oc world with a bunch of ocs/self inserts of ourselves, it’s sorta like an urban fantasy alternate version of our own universe, and we call it “couch lore”. there’s a ton of different magic types that the majority of people are born with, spanning from the classic element-based ones (blaze, aqua, air, earth, light, dark, etc) to a few more specific kinds (insect, sound, undead, toxic, etc). so my guy (aforementioned zombie) is named brooklyn! he’s a dual-typed blaze/undead dragonperson. he started out as just a blaze type, and used to be a part of a hero team that just kinda went around keeping the peace and taking down wannabe supervillains and whatnot. but one day tragedy strikes, and he (HORROR STING) dies in a freak accident!!! (“what was the accident” idk i’m keeping it intentionally vague)

so brooklyn just kind of lays around dead in a forest for a while until this super-powerful over-3000-years-old frost-type mage shows up. cause xe lives in the forest. and idk? xe’s just kind of like “fuck yeah bones” and revives him without thinkkg about rhe consequences? i guess when you’re over 3000 years old you stop caring a little bit. whatever. anyway brooklyn wakes up and he’s in a coffin and he has to dig himself out of a sandy grave and once he does that he tracks down the mage and is like YOU SAVED ME!!!!! and the mage is like Umm You are rotting . hello ? but he eventually gets mostly reacclimated to society and somewhat gets over being a zombie and having a ton of flesh falling off him and stuff (though granted the mage did a really good job considering he was dead for multiple years but once revived still has most of his flesh, props to that)

so that’s the lowdown on his deal. “but eden why did you draw him as the fourteenth tarot card?” well. because of the triple meaning. i wanna clarify from now on that i have very minimal knowledge of tarot so correct me if i’m wrong here. basic art thing but also i took inspiration from other tarot decks’ death cards for the composition of the drawing

card #13 in the major arcana, or the death card, generally does not indicate that you or a loved one is going to die in the near future; rather, it signifies change in the form of an approaching ending, and thereby a new beginning close behind (or in the case of the reversed position, a fear of change). however i thought it fit multiple ways!! such ways include: 1) his journey of ending (dying) and beginning (being revived) 2) his desperate want for things to go back to the way they were before he died and 3) he is literally dead #Lol

bonus: it’s card #13, and 13 is my favourite number, so it all fits perfect :-)

4. How did you first meet?

School. I saw him and thought Satan himself had arrived. Actually my heart melted but don’t tell Richie that.

14. Do you share any of the same hobbies/interests/passions?

A bunch of them. Bike riding, music, cooking, there’s quite a lot.

24. What personality traits do you find most attractive about your partner?

His confidence and bravery.

A mix of a hyena and a trumpet. not really

The sleepover at his place when his parents left the for the weekend. We had loads of snacks and stayed up all night to watch movies. I had a lot of fun until the storm knocked the power out. Luckily Richie knows how to be distracting.

The sleepover I just mentioned.

42. What’s the sweetest thing that your partner’s ever done for you?

Stopped talking long enough for me to get my homework done a few times. Also, that time he came over with a backpack full of comics and fun stuff to entertain me when I was sick.

Ha! Me? never.. We’re both pretty chill.. Ha..

We both are.

I like soft playful kisses that turn into soft and innocent makeout sessions but Richie likes to just attack me with surprise rough kisses and that usually ends in us bickering.

I’m the little spoon. Or I like to curl up with my head against his chest. Always.

47. What’s a gift that you’ve given to your partner? And one they’ve given to you?

I gave him a joke book. He wasn’t amused. He has given me plenty of asthma attacks. Do those count? Also, can’t forget the red teddy bear I sleep with every night.

I like to think we’re reserved but Richie kinda ruins that fantasy.

49. Does one of you like to cook for the other? 

He taught me how to cook because my mom never let me around the stove growing up. So yeah, we both do but I tend to cook more now.

Last Valentine’s Day, we had a picnic and then got ice cream.

Anywhere out of Derry sounds like a fun time.

It’s Richie we’re talking about. nothing surprises me anymore.

To be honest, don’t know what that is. But let’s just go with anytime we’re together so we sound cute.

Our last fight. Lasted like 20-30mins but he left to cool off and I cried because I’m a baby. We fixed it that night though.

Literally the same.

Don’t date a Trashmouth. But, If you’re going to date a trashmouth - find someone almost as great as Richie.

Awkward but absolutely amazing. He kinda shocked me but at the same time, I had a feeling it would happen. But I felt the cliche butterflies and my heart practically exploded. We bumped noses a lot and I sorta giggled nervously a lot which messed it up but it was still magical.

Honestly? I don’t know. I felt like I hated him at times but I was really falling hard for him the whole time. Just everything about him I guess.
