Summary: You and Ed have been married for a while now & take on a case about a young boy. (ps. I didn't do a full on case as that would require me to like write sooo many pages haha)
Tumblr media
The suitcase clicked shut as you took a deep breath. A pair of hands moving up your arm to your shoulders. It made you inhale deeply, leaning your head back. A presence neared as the touch of lips in your neck, tickled you. You slowly turned around, facing your husband Ed. – “What is the matter love?” – he asked wrapping his arms around you. As a reaction you shrugged a shoulder. – “I’m not sure.” – you responded.
Ed grabbed you by the chin, titling it up so that you were forced to look at him. – “Tell me.” – he insisted upon, knowing very well what kind of life he was leading with you. You took another deep breath, something uncertain reflecting in your eyes. – “It is just… a feeling…” – you said cautiously. – “A feeling?” – Ed repeated with half a smile. Rolling with your eyes, you moved away from him. – “No, no wait honey!” – he called out, grabbing for your hand to pull you back. He had it, moving you back in front of him.
“I didn’t mean it like that.” – he said tugging some hair behind your ear. He brought your hand up, looking teasingly at you whilst leaving a kiss there. – “Please… tell me.” – he stared yearningly at you, hoping he hadn’t been too much of an ass just now. You sighed hard, chest falling with the intensity of your breath. – “It is just a feeling I can’t shake off.” – you told him nervously.
Ed smiled sympathetically at you. – “Maybe I should go alone?” – he said not wanting to put you in any danger. – “God no!” – you cursed with a glare. – “We are in this together Ed. It is you and me or nothing at all.” – you reminded him with a firm poke in his chest. Ed laughed loud. – “You and me darling.” – he smiled before kissing your cheek. He reached around you for the suitcase, taking it with him from the bed. You took a deep breath, staring at the window for a moment.
Letting your hand rub over your neck, you stared yourself lost at the glass. Caught up with your own thoughts as they whispered loudly in the back of your mind. – “Y/n!” – hearing your name made you snap out of it. Turning your head, you saw Ed stand in the doorway. – “Are you coming love?” – he questioned. You nodded, taking your coat from the table, and heading down with him. Ed was carrying the heavy suitcase up to the car.
Opening the trunk to stash it there. You stepped onto the driveway up to the car. Ed greeted a neighbor before closing the trunk. You moved your hand to your neck, feeling the cross necklace underneath it. You took it between your fingers, rubbing it softly. You then walked over to Ed who held the car door open for you. He started the car, driving off.
You were looking outside of the window. Following the passing of the car as Ed drove past the town’s sign. Suddenly the music on the radio stopped, only static coming through. – “Stupid radio.” – Ed called out, turning on the knob to switch between stations. You stood with wide eyes, staring at the radio as out of each station kept coming static. Ed didn’t seem to be bothered with it. – “Ah!” – he said finally finding a station that played music again.
As quickly as it came, it was gone. You looked at your husband who was tapping his fingers on the wheel on the rhythm of the song. For some reason it didn’t bother him. To you it felt like a bad omen. As much of a bad omen as the feeling snuggling deep inside of you. You must have fallen asleep cause the next thing you remember is Ed nudging you awake. – “We are here darling.” – he whispered as you slowly sat yourself better. Looking outside you saw the light outside had darkened.
Changing into a vibrant orange as the sun was setting. Ed and you got out of the car, eyes focused on the house seemingly in the middle of nowhere. No neighboring houses nearby. The door opened as a lady got in sight. Ed and you walked up to greet her. – “You must be Ms. Field.” – Ed spoke, shaking her hand. – “And you Ed and Y/n Warren?” – she responded, shaking your hand. – “We are.” – you answered. Ms. Field led you inside.
You admired her interior. Not too fancy, not too simple. Just ordinary. She guided you towards the living room where you saw Mr. Field and their two children. – “Honey, these are Ed and Y/n Warren.” – She said as her husband got up. – “Nice to meet you.” – Ed said, shaking hands with him. You smiled, suddenly drawn downwards. The youngest of the children, a boy clutched onto his father’s leg. You tilted your head a bit to the side with a warm smile. – “Hello.” – you said. The child tilted his head equally to the side, staring right back at you.
His eyes widened briefly with mischief. He brought a finger to his lips, quietly shushing you. It made you swallow nervously. The young boy curling up a smile. You diverted your gaze to the father and the daughter. You noticed how afar she stood from her father and the little boy. Her hands folded neatly in front of her. Gaze locked onto your husband. Ms. Field offered for you to sit. Ed and you sat down. Ed jumped back up, taking out a toy from underneath him. – “Sorry.” – Mr. Field said taking the toy train from him. – “No problem at all.” – Ed responded, checking behind him to be certain there weren’t any more toys up to surprise him.
Mr. Field ordered the children to go play upstairs to leave the grown-ups to do the talking. You kept a watchful eye on the youngest boy. Something seemed off about him. He looked over his shoulder to you with the coldest glare you had anyone ever seen you give. His chin tilted down with a cold stare.
It made you shudder. If it wasn’t for Ed taking your hand, you might have trembled to the bone. You and him shared a glance. You alright? He mouthed. You nodded reassuringly, holding his hand tighter. As usual Ed began with a set of questions. He needed information to know what kind of problem he was looking upon. Poltergeist? Lost spirits? Demons? He needed to know for sure to know what kind of approach he should take on.
Your gaze went upwards to the ceiling, knowing the children were playing upstairs. Ed and you jumped out of the sofa when the girl came running downstairs with screams. Mr. and Ms. Field getting up as well. The girl stormed into the room, holding her wrist. – “Mariana what happened?” – the father asked. – “Michael bit me!” – she cried out, showing her finger to her father. Ed and you approached. Ed’s eyes widened at the clear bitemarks around her finger. – “Michael!” – Ms. Field called out angry.
You looked up to the staircase, seeing Michael sit by the railing in clear darkness. No light falling onto that spot. He smiled, yet not with a smile of his own. His shoulders shuddering with laughter. If you focused it was almost as if you could hear an older voice laugh. It was there and then that your suspicions around the boy became clear. He was the cause. Ed helped aid Mariana’s finger with care.
Ed and you went to your hotel nearby. Ed sat by the small table, looking through some notes. – “Ed honey…” – you said worryingly. – “It’s the kid.” – he answered to your surprise. It made you widen your eyes that he was spot on without even hearing your words. He turned round in his chair to you. He took a deep breath. – “I could tell by your reactions something was off. It wasn’t till the bite, that I pinned two and two together.” – he said, getting up to join you on the bed. – “Ed darling, I think we aren’t talking about some silly hauntings anymore.” – you spoke with concern.
He nodded, brushing his thumb against your cheek. –“I know…I believe we are at demonic possessions.” – he sighed out, wishing it hadn’t been true. You took his hand, rubbing your fingers smoothly over his skin. Ed and you crawled into bed, giving each other a goodnight kiss. You turned to the side as Ed wrapped his arms around you. Snuggling very close to you. – “Good night darling.” – he mumbled falling half asleep.
“Good night…” – you whispered, staring right in front of you. The darkness in the hotel room gave you an eerie feeling. As if you were to expect something. Aware of your own heart beating loudly in your ear. Taking your cross necklace in your hand, you finally closed your eyes.
Somewhere in the night, you were tossing and turning your head on your pillow. Laying on your back. Ed’s arms nowhere around you. A sense of frightens crawling up to you. Starting from the toes up till your shoulders. Like long fingers it stretched over your body with the slightest of tingle. Your hand plopped to the side. Brows furrowing together in your sleep as you felt something wet. It was sticky as it wettened the back of your hand. It made you widen your eyes. Sitting up straight, you brought your hand up to your eyes.
Yet it was too dark to distinguish what it was. Bringing your hand even closer to you, you took a sniff. Eyes widening at the familiar smell of blood. In a panic, you tossed over, fidgeting to turn on the nightlamp. In a second lighted the hotel room up. The wetness on your hand suddenly clear. The red stain staring luringly back at you. It was dark and seemed fresh. Furrowing your brows once more, you felt a wetness by your side. Staining your nightgown. You looked to the side; a scream caught in your throat. It trapped itself deep down your throat. Blooded hand moved trembling to your mouth upon the horrors.
Eyes were widened so far it hurt your eye muscles. You wanted to scream, cry, vomit at the sight. Ed. Your dear Ed, laying lifeless beside you. His throat slit, laying in a pool of his own blood. Body shuddered as a scream found it’s way out. A cry in pure agony. You grabbed Ed’s shoulders, pulling at him. – “Ed!” – you cried out in a panic. – “No…no please… don’t leave me! I need you Ed!” – you screamed, tears streaming down your face.
His eyes flashed open. Pure as white making you jump back. Eyes snapped open, making you look to the side. A sigh of relief hitting you as you saw your husband breathing peacefully with his face towards you. It was but a dream…no not a dream, a nightmare. You shot up, needing a moment to process the dream that felt so vivid. You screamed again, seeing the little boy stand in your hotel room, surrounded by darkness. His white teeth reflecting through the darkness.
Eyes widening, you shot awake with a loud gasp. Having risen from your sleeping position. Ed shot awake as well. – “Y/n! what’s wrong?” – he immediately stood in defense mode, looking around. You were panting. Sweat dripping down your back and neck. You looked at Ed, bursting in tears. He wrapped his arms around you, cherishing you. – “It is alright… whatever you saw it is gone…” – he told you, tightening his grip around you.
You kept crying, pinching Ed in his cheek. – “Au.” – he called out humorously. – “What was that for?” – he asked. – “To be certain you are real.” – you responded. – “I am real.” – he said seeing how scared you were. You laid your head against his chest, snuggling up to him. How was this possible? You thought for sure you had already woken up… twice. Could it be? A dream within a dream?
The next morning you were wary to go back inside the house and be confronted with the child. There was no doubt it somehow tried to scare you. You staid close to your husband while he swept the house with his device. You followed him around like a stray pup rewarded with treats. Ed and you were in Michael’s bedroom. Ed knelt down by the bed as he let his device sweep over the matrass. – “Are you searching for ghosts?” – you turned your head seeing Mariana stand in the doorway. Ed turned to look worriedly up to you. – “I know what you are.” – she said staying in the doorway.
“Can…can you rid my brother of this evil?” – she asked fumbling with her hands. Ed and you looked at each other as he slowly rose. – “That… that isn’t my brother anymore. He’s different. I can feel it. He’s scary…” – Mariana confessed. – “He should’ve never…” – her lip started to tremble. – “I told him to leave it… but he wouldn’t listen…” – she cried out desperately. – “What? What did you tell him Mariana?” – Ed asked curiously. – “The token.” – she whimpered out.
You rushed over to her, calming her. You looked worriedly over at Ed. Ed nodded agreeing with you. – “Tell me about this token Mariana.” – you asked brushing her hair back. Mariana shuddered with tears. – “It was… round… hay woven around it as it stuck out at several points… like a star.”- she explained. – “It…it had some hairs woven between the hay… hair with red tips…” – she continued.
Ed looked frantically at you. – “Where did you find this?” – he asked. Mariana moved a trembling finger at the window. Making Ed and you look. – “The well.” – she said shaking. – “Show us.” – Ed demanded gently. You helped Mariana up to her feet. The three of you went downstairs to the front door. Mariana guided you around the house, far onto the property. By an old willow tree stood indeed a stone well. The leaves of the willow rustling carelessly in the absence of wind. Mariana came to a sudden halt, not wanting to come any closer.
Ed approached the well as you staid by Mariana’s side. – “Y/n, come!” – he called out. You let go of Mariana, giving her an encouraging nod before joining your husband. – “It’s boarded up.” – he told you. The pit of the well was indeed boarded up with wooden planks. –“Father did it!” – Mariana called out. – “After Michael had fallen in.” – Ed hummed loud. – “How could anyone have fallen in?” – you whispered to him. – “Unless something lured him in?” – Ed added thoughtfully. – “We have to open this up.” – he said as you put a stop to him.
“Are you certain? Perhaps things are best left untouched. We do not want to open Pandora’s box.” – you responded with concern. Ed placed a warm hand on yours that laid on his arm. – “Darling, we must… to understand Pandora’s box, we must open it.” – he said. You exhaled deep, taking a step back. – “Where is the shed?” – he asked Mariana. She pointed at the side as Ed made his way over to it. You staid with Mariana, moving your arm around her. – “What are you doing?”
You gasped spinning around. Eyes widening at Michael near you. He tilted his head to the side, looking past you to the well. He narrowed his eyes at you. – “Michael…” – you said eyeing the shed. He turned his head, seeing Ed come out of the shed holding a sledgehammer. His eyes widened. – “No!” – a loud voice came through, not sounding like his. You gasped when Michael ran up to you with claw like hands. He grabbed you firmly pushing you up against the well.
Your back arched when you hovered over the wooden planks. Michael grabbing you firmly. His face contracted with pure anger. He started shouting and cursing in a language you did not understand. His eyes darkened as for a moment you saw his face physically take on another shape. Something monstrous. It made you scream loud as it tried to keep pushing you onto the wooden planks, so you’d break through and fall. Mariana was screaming and crying.
It kept raging on, black goriness dripping down his mouth. You kept shaking your head to not have it fall onto your lips. – “Y/n!” – Ed screamed out, running over to you. He knocked Michael in the back with the handle of the sledgehammer. His grip faltered on you. Ed grabbed your arm, pulling you off the well. – “Are you alright love?” – he asked holding your hand firmly. You nodded shaken. Ed furrowed his brows, wiping some blackness of your cheek.
You wrapped your arms around him. Ed looked concerned down at Michael unconscious. The claim was firm on him. It wouldn’t be an easy job to release Michael from the demon taking possession of him. Ed kissed your cheek; glad you are unharmed. For that was his biggest worry. If you had fallen through the wooden planks, you could’ve broken your neck and lie dead at the bottom.

Teachers Pet
So, entering into a new fandom with this piece. It's gonna be a mini-series..maybe...honestly who knows. This is set in the Conjuring Universe with some tweaks, and the tweaks being that more then just ghosts and demonic entities exist, think of it as a bit of a Supernatural crossover without the characters. It will be a Ed/Lorraine/femreader fic, it's bit of instant love. Femreader is a hunter, and has some physic abilities that they use to assist when hunting supernatural creatures.
Warnings: Sexual undertones and heavy making out, brief mention of cheating - but not the three members of the throuple.

The Teachers
You could hear some of the audience whispering around you, the scepticism in their words and tones had you rolling your eyes. If they didn’t believe in the spiritual or demonic why even come to this lecture. The Warrens were well known for being experts in the subjects and had been involved in many cases around the country. You had kept an eye on their work as often as you could, reading every article and watching every news or talk show episode with them on it. But you had never seen them in person and you were beyond excited.
You watched the two of them walk onto the stage and your breathe caught. Your heart raced and you could hear your blood pumping in your ears. They were even more stunning in person, and Lorraine, you could almost feel something surrounding her. You had always been attune to others auras and to spirits. You weren’t a clairvoyant like Lorraine, you had no visions and when you touched things you never felt the emotions connected to the item or saw what happened moments before. But you were something.
You tried to pay attention to what the two of them were saying but you found yourself focusing more on their lips moving, their body language and how they interacted with each other more than the content of the lecture. You were currently busy staring at Ed, thinking you were covered as just another face in the crowd but the next moment Ed’s eyes seemed to find yours. Your eyes stayed locked together, as Lorraine took over talking. You felt your cheeks start to heat, as Ed continued to look at you, his lips slowly changing from the smile he had had the majority of the lecture to a relaxed smirk. Lorraine walked up beside him, her eyes following his line of sight and caught your eyes as well. Just like her husband she maintained eye contact, her smile becoming soft and gentle as her eyes seemed to penetrate right through you. That’s when you finally broke eye contact looking down at your lap as your face flushed deeply. Your fingers fiddling with the rings you were wearing.
You forced your eyes to stay on your lap the rest of the lecture and even through the question segment. You didn’t want to get caught staring at the married couple again. Everyone started shuffling out of the lecture hall, talking amongst themselves, you allowed yourself a moment before standing to trail along behind the others. You refused to look back at Ed and Lorraine as you left the room, breathing normally for the first time since they had stepped onto the stage. There was no way to explain or describe the feeling that those two produced in you, it was like they became the centre of your world. The thing that allowed you to feel others, was drawn to them, it was the strongest it had ever been. Which was why you could feel that they were walking towards you and they were almost out of the classroom, part of you wanted to push through the other people and get out of the building but your instincts raged against that thought, making your head hurt. The normal sign that you were choosing the wrong option, so instead you slowed your steps allowing the crowd to wash past you ensuring that you were practically the only ones in the hallway when you felt a gentle hand on your shoulder. Your body shivered at the feeling, as a shock radiated from where her hand had touched.
“Hello,” Lorraine smiled at you, you pouted a little when you noticed that you were shorter than her. Ed and Lorraine shared a look, a heat in their eyes as they took in your lips pushing forward before you quickly forced a calm look over your face.
“Hi,” you said eyes shifting between the two quickly, unsure who to focus on and not wanting to stare at either of them for too long. The pain in your head had disappeared, and in replace of it was a feeling of light, like you were flying almost.
“We noticed you in the lecture, you seemed very interested but we noticed you didn’t have any questions,” Ed said, an eyebrow raised. You couldn’t quite determine the tone of his voice, but it was nothing like the one he used in the lecture.
“Oh, um,” you had never told anyone before that you had had experiences with spirits, the demonic and other creatures of the supernatural. Learning how to deal with them, and help others but you had stayed under the radar not wanting to gain the attention of the Church.
“It’s alright,” Lorraine smiled her hand squeezing your arm, it was odd, normally you didn’t like people touching you but the feel on Lorraine’s hand on your arm calmed you, and that was something you didn’t like. Her eyes were kind and gentle but still had the feeling of seeing right through to your soul. “You can tell us. I feel a similarity between us, don’t you?”
You sighed rubbing the back of your neck, knowing that Lorraine could sense the thing that made you different, just as you could sense it in her. The sound of voices drew your attention to the hallway over the shoulder of the demonologists and you clamped up, drawing further into yourself.
“Perhaps not here,” Ed suggested. “We could grab some coffees and go to the park that isn’t far from here?”
You bit your lip as you considered your options, the light flying feeling you had got stronger when you thought about going with them and the pain in your head returned when you thought about denying the suggestion. You winced reaching up to rub your forehead and quickly brought your thoughts back to going with them.
“Alright,” you nodded ignoring them sharing a look of concern at your wince.
--
The three of you were walking through the park, aiming for a table on the far side that was away from everyone else that was in the park. You were walking in the middle, having tried to be on the outside but Ed had swiftly moved to your other side the moment that you had left the university and all the way to the coffee shop and to the park. You had also tried to pay for your own drink but again Ed had moved swiftly and ordered his and Lorraine’s drink and paid for all of them before you could pull out the money for your drink. They had made small talk during the walk but you had found it difficult to speak to them, the pressure of what you had to tell them was too much. But you hadn’t felt any pain in your head so you figured you were still doing the right thing.
You sat on one side of the table and Ed and Lorraine sat on the other side, both of them placing their forearms on the table and leaning forward. Not necessarily in your space but definitely letting you know that they were paying attention to you.
“So, I didn’t asks questions because I already knew a lot  of what you were talking about,” you explained with no prompting you didn’t want to give yourself a chance to back out, you had in the past ignored the pain in your head and it eventually disappeared but it honestly wasn’t worth it. You knew these two wouldn’t call you crazy but it was still worrisome. Especially if they decided to go to the Church. But there is no way your instincts would tell you to go with them if doing so would endanger you.
“Have you had experience with spiritual beings?” Lorraine asked tilting her head to the side a little.
“Yes,” you nodded. “I…feel things, not quite like you, Lorraine, and I have…dealt with beings that have been causing havoc with people.  I know the Church frowns upon such things but why should people have to continue to suffer if I can help.”
“That can be very dangerous,” Ed started, his brow furrowed. You felt a flare of anger but also something different at his words. Anger that he felt the need to tell you that what you were doing was dangerous, it was almost condescending. And another part of you, hummed. Happy that someone was concerned for you, it had been a long time since anyone had thought about you enough to be worried.
“I am well aware however, it is far safer for a person like me to do it then you,” you pointed out defensively. “You do not have…let’s say extra senses. I do. Plus my instincts have never let me down, they have a way of telling me if I am making the wrong decision.”
“She does have a point, Ed,” Lorraine laughed, poking her husband in the arm grinning cheekily at him when he looked at her. He rolled his eyes before planting a kiss on her cheek. Your body warmed at the smile on her face when she looked back at you and winked. “How does it work?”
“Well, when I choose the correct option I get this light, almost flying feeling,” you had never had to explain that feeling to anyone before so do so now it was difficult. “And when I even so much as think about the wrong option I get a pain in my head, and it stays until I change my mind. Sometimes when I decide to ignore it the pain can last for several days.”
“So coming with us was the correct choice?” Ed asked, his eyebrow raised again and a teasing glint in his eyes. His lips were quirked into the same little smirk he had when he had caught your eyes in the lecture.
“How do you know I didn’t just decide to ignore the pain?” raising your eyebrow you found your own lips quirking up into a teasing grin.
“You looked in pain until you agreed to come with us,” Ed responded, his eyes dropping to your lips for a split second before he sent a look to Lorraine who seemed to soften even more. The humming in your body slowed to a softer hum from what it had been, the light feeling that normally only stays in your body for a few minutes after you follow through on the correct option had stayed, burning brighter than normal and slowly moving out from the centre of your body.
“I guess you have me there,” you muttered pouting again, you caught Lorraine’s eyes dropping to your lips this time.
“What else do you feel? You said it wasn’t quite like my feelings,” Lorraine inched her hands towards yours that were resting on the table but you moved back. That connection was not something you wanted, you knew Lorraine would be able to sense something and you didn’t want to know if that was a good thing or not.
“Yes, I don’t have visions or feel emotions that are connected to items or memories,” you shrugged. “But I am attuned to peoples auras, which is helpful when people are being targeted by the demonic or spirits. And I tend to be able to sense even the smallest presence of the supernatural creatures.”
“That would be incredibly helpful,” Ed nodded.
“It is, and I can’t explain how but it tends to help me deal with them as well,” you continued. “I have created ways in which to handle the supernatural creatures.”
“You keep saying supernatural creatures?” Lorraine asked, confusion clear as day on her face.
“You believe in spirits and the demonic, surely it can’t be too much of a stretch to think that other creatures of myth exist?” you teased them both.
“We have never encountered them,” Ed stated, a hint of the tone he used to lecture entering his tone.
“And yet they still exist, you do tend to only take on cases that the Church asks you too, and they only hear about possessions, and demonic,” you rolled her eyes. “And I also hate to break it to you but demons are capable of a lot more than what you realise.”
“And you exorcism them?” Lorraine appeared to be getting more and more concerned.
“If I can,” you nod. “There are ways to trap them and limit their power. You know, I am not the only one who is out there helping those that the Church ignores.”
“The Church-” Ed’s tone had become as defensive as yours had been moments before.
“Only takes on cases that they are able to get proof on, and only look at potential hauntings or demonic presences,” you interrupted leaning forward getting passionate. “And they don’t even consider looking at anything else. I have helped people who have gone to the Church and been turned away, no-one even went to look. And don’t even get me started on the fact that they are less likely to help those who haven’t been baptised or don’t go to church.”
Lorraine was studying your face, you knew that she was most likely sensing something. Another clairvoyant you had met once mentioned that when you feel any emotion with an intensity, this presence tends to appear alongside yours. You were cautious when you asked them what it felt like. They had said that it was different, almost like nothing they had sensed before, it wasn’t dark or malicious but in the same breathe it wasn’t light either. It was there but they mentioned feeling a strong sense of protectiveness from the presence.
“Don’t worry about that,” you waved your hand at her.
“Worry about what?” Ed asked looking between the two of you.
“She has a presence,” Lorraine’s voice was distant as she was still focusing on you and whatever the presence was.
“And before you even suggest it I am not possessed or being tormented by a demonic spirit,” you drawled tone blank. “A clairvoyant I met a few years ago sensed the same thing you are when I got angry. They said it was neither malicious or light, it merely protective of me and just there, and they weren’t worried and neither am I.”
Ed closed his mouth, a huff of amusement leaving him as you correctly predicted what his next concern would be. He looked to his wife for confirmation, and saw that she wasn’t worried more curious than anything. His eyes switched back to you and scanned the part of your body that he could see. You were a very attractive young woman, maybe around ten years younger than Lorraine and nearly twelve years younger than him. He knew Lorraine thought the same if the way she was with you was any indication but he knew his wife and he knew she was draw to you and not just for the fact that you had similar abilities. For he was drawn to you as well.
“Alright I will concede the point I wanted to make about the Church,” Ed turned the conversation back to the point before it had been sidetracked. “Other than your gifts how do you know how to deal with these supernatural creatures?”
“From others, there are a number of, they call themselves hunters, that had gathered information from trial and error I suppose and they pass it on,” you explained. “Some keep journals to pass on when they decide to “retire” and whenever we meet each other we give ways to communicate.”
“How do others not know of these things?” Lorraine had finally refocused on the conversation and not on the presence inside as it had disappeared once your passion and anger had simmered down.
“We don’t allow it, we deal with them without any fanfare, we don’t discuss it with anyone who isn’t already aware to some degree of the supernatural,” you took the final sip of your drink. “It’s better that way, prevents a panic. I mean can you imagine what would happen if people actually believed in demons and ghouls and vampires?”
“Nothing good I imagine,” Ed agreed reaching out to grab your cup and Lorraine’s before standing up to throw them in the bin that was closest to your table. Leaving you alone with Lorraine.
“You don’t want me to touch you,” it was a statement rather than a question.
“It’s complicated,” you sighed rubbing the back of your neck. “The last time a clairvoyant touched me my instincts flared, they didn’t like him touching me. And I also don’t really like knowing that that touch can give you a deeper insight into me.”
“I touched your shoulder before-”
“Over my shirt,” you interrupted again. “I think clairvoyant gifts only work on me if they touch my skin. My clothing provides a bit of a barrier…I think. And I did get a bit of an electric shock.”
“Hm, that is an interesting theory,” Lorraine smiled. “Before my husband comes back, if we needed your assistance on a case, would you be willing to help us?”
“On the condition that the Church never knows about me,”
“Of course,” Lorraine agreed. “We’d keep you completely away from that side of things.”
“Will your husband agree?” you raised an eyebrow. “I know how to completely disappear, so if there is-”
“I wouldn’t tell a soul,” Ed’s voice interrupted coming from your side as he took a seat beside you instead of back with his wife.
You inched a little away from him, under the guise of giving him more space. You dutifully ignored all the happy feelings his presence brought up in you. And you also ignored the warmth you could feel from his body as he followed you, not quite touching you but also leaving little space between your bodies. You risked a glance at his face only to find him already watching you, his blue eyes were captivating. You flushed as you tore your gaze away to find Lorraine watching you again, her own blue eyes seemed to gleam with a knowing look but you noticed that she didn’t seem put off by any of it. You cheeks heated further as Lorraine continued to watch you and you could feel Ed’s gaze on you as well, the combination of their attention was both too much and not enough. Lorraine’s gaze was soft but you could feel a heat behind it especially when you poked your tongue out to wet your lips, her eyes tracing the movement.
You quickly thought about leaving and when no pain followed you stood up startling the two demonologists with your movement. The light flying feeling you had dimmed leaving behind a cold emptiness inside. But that was preferable to the pain and to the humming that your body was doing in their presence.
“I need to get going,” you declared stepping over the seat and striding away.
“Wait!” Ed called after you. Your body froze without your say so, the empty feeling starting to fill with warmth again. You refused to turn back around however your fingers tangling together in-front of you.
“We have a case that we may need your help on,” Lorraine started. “We could discuss it over lunch?” Lorraine had moved closer to you, standing to your side and trying to catch your eye. You hung your head and sighed.
“Tomorrow?” you asked. “I do actually have some errands to run today.”
“Tomorrow,” Ed agreed.
Lorraine past you a folded piece of paper. “Our address, come by anytime after 11.”
Nodding you started walking again the cold empty had gotten smaller once you had agreed to meet up with the married couple again. You truly had no idea what to make of your instincts and why they were reacting the way they were, nor did you have any idea what make of how the two demonologists had acted around you. Hopefully, lunch tomorrow would get all of this shit sorted but you wouldn’t be surprised if it only made it worse.
--
“She is certainly something else,” Ed muttered watching you walk away, Lorraine noticed how his eyes seemed dropped once or twice to watch your hips sway before he tore them away.
“Yes, I did rather notice how she seemed to captivate you from the moment you saw her,” Lorraine teased.
“Honey, as if you can talk,” Ed wrapped his arm around her shoulders as they walked off in the opposite direction. “I saw you watching her lips while she talked.”
“We did always have the same taste,” Lorraine grinned. “You want her.”
Ed was aware of the fact that his wife wasn’t asking, she was telling him. He squeezed her tight to his side and dropped a kiss on the top of her head.
“So do you,” Ed responded. The two of them were incredibly in sync with each other, knowing the other well enough to know when they wanted something.
“It has been a while since we found someone that interested the both of us enough,”
“Shall we test the waters?”
“I think we can be certain that she is interested in the both of us if her adorable flush was anything to go by,” Lorraine chanced a look over her shoulder and was rewarded with one last look at you before you disappeared around the corner. “Maybe we can be not as subtle, in testing the waters tomorrow.”
“She doesn’t like touch too much, but we can come up with a way,” Ed grinned.
--
“Why couldn’t I have been born without this shit?” you asked yourself as you sat in your car outside the Warren’s house.
It was a beautiful house in a beautiful suburb, which just reinforced the fact that this was a married couple, with a daughter. You thumped your head against the steering wheel before the tugging that had started in your chest grew stronger and you couldn’t ignore it any longer. The humming started back up and kept getting stronger the closer you got. As did your light flying feeling, which told you that you were doing the right thing. The door opened just as you reached it, you didn’t know if that meant they were watching out a window or if Lorraine just knew that you had arrived.
“Welcome!” Lorraine happily welcomed you in to their home. She moved towards you before she pulled back. “Please come in.”
You tilted your head as you realised she probably wanted to hug you but remembered that you weren’t always comfortable with it. But the humming seemed to deflate a little when she didn’t hug you. You smiled at her and it wasn’t as forced as you thought it would be, you also couldn’t help but notice how the clothing she wore today hugged her curves quite nicely.
“Hi, thank you,” you were again a little soft spoken, it irked you a little that two people could have this effect on you, when nothing ever had before. “You have a lovely home.”
The inside of the house was as beautiful as the outside, there was signs that they had truly made this house their home. There were books and records everywhere. Photos of them and a young girl who you assumed was their daughter and an older woman, who looked like Lorraine so you assumed was her mother. You noticed paintings on the wall and upon closer inspection saw Ed’s name signed down the bottom of all of them.
“Oh my, these are,” you breathed eyes taking in all the details. “Beautiful.”
“Thank you,” Ed’s voice finally got your attention away from his paintings. He stood next to Lorraine, his arm wrapped around her waist as they both watched you in their house as you were taking everything in. “Welcome to our home.” Just like with Lorraine you couldn’t help but notice how nicely his clothes fitted to his body, he was wearing more causal clothes then the suit he wore yesterday. The clothes he wore today displayed the muscles in his arms so nicely that you had to force your eyes away from them.
“Thank you,” you found your smile growing in Ed’s presence making you freeze for a moment before turning back to look at the paintings. Your cheeks heating again.
“Lunch will just be another ten minutes,” Lorraine detached herself from Ed and walked beside you, she was careful not to touch you as she placed her arm behind your back. Even though there was space in-between her arm and your back plus the material of your clothes you could have sworn you felt the heat from her arm.
“Is there anything I can do to help?” you asked. You always found it a little odd to just sit or stand around while others prepared meals.
“You can keep Lorraine company while I finish up,” Ed smiled falling in step behind you and Lorraine after you past him. “There’s some drinks at the table.”
“Okay,” you agreed as Ed pulled out two chairs beside each other, Lorraine gently nudged you into one before taking the other. Ed’s hands stayed on the back of them as you pulled them back in. You felt a quick swipe of his thumb on your back before it was gone, your body shivered at the contact. A simmering heat started at the point of contact and moved outwards warming your body as it went.
“We’re having some crispy shredded chicken, with some potato salad,” Lorraine said taking a jug and pouring some into a glass. “Do you drink?”
“That sounds delicious,” you smiled, your mouth watering at the thought. “And yes I do…”
“How does a margarita sound?” Lorraine grinned, sitting the glass in-front of you and pouring herself one and then another glass and setting it across the table where a third plate was set.
“Delicious,” you nodded taking a sip, a hum of satisfaction leaving your lips at the taste. “Did Ed make this as well?”
“He did,” Lorraine grinned turning a little in her chair to face you, propping her head up on her hand. “Isn’t he talented, he can cook, make amazing drinks and paint?”
You blinked a little confused by the tone of Lorraine’s voice but you agreed with her statements, Ed was incredibly talented and if lunch tasted as good as it smelled you would be in heaven. Your body warmed, and it wasn’t just from the cocktail, Lorraine was being very careful not to touch but kept a small amount of space between the two of you. You could hear Ed in the kitchen, humming a little to the song that was playing in softly in the background, your smile becoming gentle as you took another sip of your drink.
“Yes he is,” you agreed, unable to maintain eye contact with Lorraine as you looked down at the table. “You are very lucky, as is your daughter.” You forced yourself to remember that these two were not only married but had a daughter.
“Indeed, Judy is out with my mother,” Lorraine provided without any prompting. “They’re enjoying a day in the park before going back to my mother’s for the night.”
“That’s sweet, I bet they’ll both enjoy that,” you looked back up at her, you couldn’t help but watch her lips as she took a sip. Your blood felt like it was on fire, and as hard as you tried to ignore it your pussy had started to throb a little, from the moment you noticed how the Warrens looked in their clothes.
“They should do, which give us plenty of time to discuss our case and also to get to know each other,” Ed responded entering from the kitchen with three plates of food balanced perfectly. “And I hope you enjoy this.”
Ed placed the first plate in-front of you and the second in-front of Lorraine, making sure to kiss her lips as he did, you quickly looked away before you could be caught staring. Ed then took the seat across from the both of you, his lips pulled back into a smile.
“It smells delicious,” you assured him, picking up your fork to taste the chicken. Your eyes shuttered closed as a moan left your lips at the taste of the chicken. It was so beautifully tender and seasoned.
Ed had to shift a little in his seat at the sound that left your mouth, it was positively sinful. Lorraine squeezed her legs together as she felt her panties get a little wet. They shared a heated look both thinking how much they wanted to hear that noise in a different setting.
“I take it you like it?” Lorraine asked, a teasing tone to her voice that you missed entirely.
“This is amazing, Ed,” you praised any concerns you had previously about why these two had such an effect on you forgotten in the face of really good food. It was the easiest way to get through your walls, good food.
“Thank you,” Ed grinned. “I’m glad you like it.”
You eagerly dug into the meal, taking a sip of the margarita in between every few mouthfuls. This was one of the best meals you had had in a while, you mostly grabbed take out or frozen meals, seeing as how you couldn’t cook at all. It was in the best interest of everyone if you never touched a stove. Ed and Lorraine watched, they both rather liked the image of you at their table enjoying a meal cooked by Ed. Lorraine had even inched closer to you her leg slowly pressing into yours bit by bit when you only glanced at her a little, a soft smile sent her way before you went back to eating. Ed stretched out one of his legs to tap your foot with his. Neither of them touching bare skin, as Lorraine was wearing a pair of pants, the material soft against the skin of your leg. Your body seemed to settle from the contact between the three of you, the humming settling down.
You settled back into your chair nursing the last bit of your drink, content from the delicious meal you had consumed when you noticed Lorraine and Ed watching you. Your cheeks heated at their attention, you carefully placed your glass back on the table and looked down.
“Sorry, it’s been a while since I have had a home cooked meal, I normally just get take out or a frozen meal,” you muttered, unsure why you felt the need to explain why you absolutely devoured that meal. You weren’t going hungry but there is something that is just superior about home cooked meals.
“No need to apologise,” Ed smiled, deciding to test the waters a bit more and reached out to cover your hand with his, pausing with his hand hovering above yours to give you time to move away. When you didn’t he gently placed his hand over yours and squeezed softly. “It’s a great compliment to the chef when people enjoy their food so much they can’t stop until its gone.”
Lorraine noticing that you didn’t pull away from her husband’s touch leaned into you, gently placing an arm over your shoulders, her fingers softly stroking the skin of your arm. She too moved slowly, waiting to see if you would move away from her touch before she actually touched you, when you leant into her side she grinned. An electric shock went through both of you the moment she touched your skin with her fingers, your body heated from the inside out, in a very pleasant way.
“Oh,” Lorraine maintained the contact, as her body started to heat and that feeling she got when she felt the presence yesterday returned. It wasn’t unpleasant at all, in fact it made her feel safe, the thing seemed to wrap around both her and Ed, extending its protective circle around them.
“What?” Ed asked, you had been worried that he might feel left out from not being able to feel what you and Lorraine were feeling but he mostly appeared curious as he stroked you hand.
“The presence that is inside our girl, it wants to protect us,” Lorraine explained staring at you with wonder. “It feels like safety, and my body is heating up, it feels like electricity is passing between us.”
You thought you had misheard when Lorraine referred to you as “our girl” but when Ed only nodded and looked between you and his wife with awe you thought that maybe that is what you heard. You felt the warmth in your body finally reach your hand that was resting under Eds. You bit your lip wondering if you could find a way to pass the warmth to him as well. Ed’s fingers stopped stroking your hand his eyes growing wide as he looked at you.
“I think I can feel…warmth,” he whispered in wonder. You grinned, though unsure of how you managed it, happy that Ed didn’t have to be left out. “Our girl.”
The presences within you seemed content, in a way you hadn’t felt before, the humming was now a constant low buzz in the background. You wanted to test something, so you thought about getting up and leaving, about never returning to them. The pain that ripped through you head was like nothing else you had felt before, you gasped eyes squeezing shut.
“What happened?” Ed was up and out of his seat, coming around to your side of the table and kneeling beside you, his hand on your thigh. Lorraine had moved her hand that was stroking your arm to the back of your head, gently rubbing through your hair as her other hand fell to your thigh closest to her.
“It’s fine,” you waved their concern away quickly letting the thoughts drop, the warmth returned as did the light. “I…just needed to test something.”
“And it caused you pain?” Lorraine asked. “You thought about a decision that was wrong.”
“Yeah, I thought…I thought about leaving and not returning,” you confessed softly. You had only known these two for a day, if that, and you knew that your instincts were telling you that you had to stay with them but that didn’t mean that it wouldn’t creep out the married couple. They might have both called you “our girl” but that also doesn’t mean anything.
“It would seem that you are meant to be here,” Lorraine told you, pressing a kiss against your cheek, grinning as your entire face went red.
“With us,” Ed added squeezing the thigh that was under his hand. His eyes smouldering when he saw how you reacted to Lorraine merely kissing you on the cheek.
“But,” you saw a photo of them with their daughter and it was like ice water had been dropped on you. Ed and Lorraine gasped, feeling the drop in your warmth from their connections with your skin. “Your daughter, you are married and you have a child.”
“Our child who will understand,” Lorraine assured you. “My mother used to date more than one person, and Judy asked about it one day, poly relationships are easy to explain to a child.”
“But the church,” you tried again only to have Ed gently cup your cheek and tilt your head upwards as he stood up.
“It is a little at odds with the teachings of the church but Lorraine and I have come to terms with it long ago, before we had Judy we use to see other people for either short term or long term,” Ed explained. “But none of them ever felt right enough for it to become permanent.”
“But there is something about you that is different,” Lorraine continued. “We can’t explain it but I think the fact that you were in so much pain when you thought about leaving us just confirms that this difference is a good thing. That we are meant to be.”
You nibbled on your bottom lip, trying to sort through your thoughts, ignoring the humming that had started back up in earnest when both Ed and Lorraine acknowledged that you belong with them and they belonged with you. It was absurd for you all to be feeling so strongly about strangers, even knowing what you know about the supernatural it was weird to you. But that was only a small part of your brain, the rest, well the rest was happy with what you were feeling. It was like pieces of the puzzle finally coming into place, like coming home. And your instincts had never led you astray before, the last time you ignored them when it concerned a relationship you had ended up with a man who cheated on you constantly. You focused back on the couple beside you, they were trying hard to hide their hope but when you smiled at them, their faces blossomed. They seemed to have a conversation between themselves before they both leaned in and kissed your cheeks.
“Our girl,” they both grinned, enjoying the flushed look on you. “May we kiss you?”
“Yes,” you answered softly. Obviously the conversation they had was regarding who was going to get the first kiss. Lorraine nudged your chin up and around to her, with a finger, her thumb stroking your bottom lip. Ed’s hands were gently holding your hips, as he kneeled back down, encouraging you to turn slightly in your chair to face Lorraine.
The first touch of her lips against yours was soft and gentle. Just a press before she tugged your bottom lip between hers sucking it into her mouth, drawing a whine from you. She released your lip, pressing back in, licking your lips to encourage you to separate them, her tongue delved into your mouth tasting you and drawing your tongue to twine with hers. You could feel Eds hands squeezing your hips, before one of them reached around to wrap around your stomach, pressing you against him while Lorraine pressed into your front. Lorraine pulled away, pressing one last kiss to your lips before she separated entirely from you, looking down at her husband to see his darkened eyes staring at the two of you.
“Your turn,” Lorraine whispered nudging you towards him.
Ed stood up, copying what Lorraine did to draw your head up as he bent down to capture your mouth. Where Lorraine’s kiss had been gentle, and calm, kissing Ed was like a storm. It was demanding, he took control in a different way to his wife, his teeth tugging on your lip before he pulled your tongue into his mouth, sucking on it and letting his teeth graze along it before he pushed it back in your mouth with his tongue following. You could feel your clit throbbing as more of your arousal soaked your panties. Ed pulled away from the kiss, scraping his teeth along your jaw quickly before he stood up. He smirked, a little proud of himself for leaving you breathless and your eyes almost glazed over, as your breasts heaved. His eyes dropped to them, licking his lips as he imagined what they would feel like in his mouth. Lorraine was busing dropping kisses along your neck, her hands stroking up and down your thighs as she pressed her chest against your back. Your hands had stretched up to rest against Ed’s stomach, as your eyes dropped from his unable to handle the heat in them. You blinked, eyes widening in surprise when you saw the bugle in his jeans. His cock hard and straining.
“I think we should move to the couch,” Ed almost purred with his suggestion, glancing at his wife before he reached down for your hands and tugged you up and into his chest. You felt his hard cock pressing into your stomach, he groaned at the pressure grinding into you as Lorraine stood up and led the way into the lounge room. Ed squeezed your hands as he tugged you to follow her.
“Anytime you want to stop, just say,” Lorraine said as she sat down, Ed placing you next to her before he took a seat behind you, his hands finding your hips again.
“Promise us, pretty,” Ed leaned in.
“I promise.”

Summary: After a long case, something follows Ed home and takes an instant disliking to his wife, (Y/n). - (Protective! Ed fluff)
Enjoy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tumblr media
It had been a long night, a long day and a very long week. A week away from his wife, who Ed was desperate to get back to. (Y/n) had been the only thing on his mind while he'd been on this case and she was blinding all of his senses.
He could see her out the corner of his eyes, he could feel her hands on his arms and her arms just out of reach from him. Her smell would wander beneath his nose and make him feel nostalgic and lonely all at once.
Now that he was home, all Ed wanted to do was wrap (Y/n) up in his arms and hold her like he was afraid she was going to disappear. But it was two in the morning and he couldn't be so cruel as to wake her up just because he was desperate to feel her touch. He would bind himself around her while she slept and starve himself of her comfort, her waking touch and her voice until the morning.
Ed started to shed his jacket and shoes when he walked into the house and now he made quick work of the buttons on his shirt and his trousers just as he reached the bedroom.
The moment Ed crept beneath the cover, the overpowering feeling of relief, love, warmth and general sense of home hit him like a truck and he could have cried. He didn't do well when he had to be away from (Y/n) and a week dragged on like a year was passing him by. He became dishevelled and lost focus when (Y/n) wasn't at his side to ground him.
Ed didn't usually do a case on his own but things were different now. He didn't want (Y/n) coming on a case with him now she was pregnant, he just couldn't risk anything happening to her. When the demons were particularly dark or aggressive, people got thrown around the room, windows would break and if someone was possessed, they became violent. Ed couldn't have (Y/n) around if that was happening. It was safer for (Y/n) to go ahead to a university and do a lecture while he was away on a case.
With tired limbs, he shuffled deeper under the cover and slowly laid his arm over his wife's waist, gently tugging her closer until her back was flush against his chest and his hand laid over the small swell of her stomach. His lips pressed against the top of her head and he slowly inhaled her scent that always felt like home to him. He could feel a sense of calmness overtaking us previously tense body and his mind finally felt like it was at peace now.
A smile tugged at his lips when he felt a pair of small hands wrap around his bicep and pull his arm tighter.
With a start, (Y/n)'s eyes shot open and her body shuddered down against the bed. She could feel Ed's arm draped over her chest and his face tucked up against her head, his soft breaths nuzzling into her hair. Although she didn't know when he had come back home, his presence would have been thrilling if it wasn't for the constricting feeling around her throat that was frightening her.
Her chest was quaking, moving up and down frantically to try and get some oxygen but something was tight around her throat, cutting off her breathing. Tears burned in the corners of her eyes as she flailed her arm out at her side, swatting at Ed's bare chest to try and get his attention before she dug her nails into his upper bicep. She didn't mean to hurt him, she really didn't but (Y/n) had to get his attention somehow, she needed help.
The room was still dark, it wasn't even morning yet and Ed was sleeping. Was she having some kind of allergic reaction to something? She wasn't choking and Ed nor anyone else were choking her. But when her watery eyes squinted frantically in the darkness, (Y/n) could have sworn some kind of shadow was hovering above her.
A hiss whistled through Ed's lips and he jolted forward, feeling like he was falling through the air as his senses awakened with a start. He could feel his arm just below his shoulder stinging like he had been cut but a shudder ran down his spine when he realised it was (Y/n)'s fingernails clawing at him.
"Hun? What's wrong, talk to me."
Ed pushed up on his elbow and tried to lean over (Y/n) when her hand finally released his arm that was going to be bruised come morning. His fingers brushed over her cheek as he squinted to adjust to the darkness around them.
He watched (Y/n)'s hands move towards her throat and he gently but firmly pulled her hands away when it looked like she was about to scratch her throat like she had just done his arm to wake him up. The feeling of his fingertips dragging down her chin and throat would have been sensual and made (Y/n)'s stomach flutter if she wasn't struggling to breathe. She could feel his fingers pressing around her throat to try and find out what was wrong.
But just as quickly as (Y/n) couldn't breathe, the weight on her throat suddenly lifted. She gulped for oxygen, coughing and scrounging to breathe deeply while her eyes shed streams of tears down her face and her vision tried to focus on Ed who was now hovering over her like a guardian angel.
"Alright, you're okay, breathe with me hun. Just breathe," His deep guttural voice was soothing to (Y/n)'s ears that were beginning to ring like church bells.
His thumb brushed over her cheek in a repetitive, firm motion that grounded her and his other hand continued to flutter across the side of her neck while he steadied his own breathing so she could copy him.
Reaching up, (Y/n) pressed her trembling hand against Ed's face, watching him lean into her touch while her other hand moved to his back, wanting to pull him closer.
"Just a panic attack, sweetheart, you're alright."
Ed let some of his weight settle on top of (Y/n) while his hand creeped up into her hair, his fingers fisting the strands up between them in a comforting motion. He wet his lips and smoothed them across her temple, feeling how flushed her skin was and he could feel her rapid breathing with their chests meshed together. She must have had a bad dream or maybe something had panicked her during the day and her body was finding it's way of release now during the night.
It wouldn't be the first time Ed had woken up and found his wife in a frantic state like this suffering from nightmares, memories, fears and sudden bouts of panic attacks like this. He just hadn't expected one so soon after coming home like this.
(Y/n) closed her eyes and tipped her forehead up into his kiss, trying to steady her breathing now she had made up for the oxygen she had lost.
"Hhm."
Maybe she did have a panic attack, but it didn't feel like one.
It felt like something had tried to strangle her.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As she walked down the stairs, (Y/n) felt her chest tightening and she couldn't help but look across to the right where the locked room was. Maybe the other day when Ed came home, he put something in the room and that was what she kept feeling. Something had to of given her a bad vibe for her to have some kind of panic attack of nightmare like that and all day yesterday, it felt like there was just, something, in the house besides the two of them.
Part of (Y/n) felt the need to go in the room and double check. She knew every possessed item in that room by heart, she could walk round the room blindfolded and point out each and every object held within there. (Y/n) would notice if Ed had put something new in there.
But she didn't want to.
She didn't want to risk disrupting the evil in that room or provoking something when the room had only just been blessed last week by the priest. It was best to leave the room alone and ignore the sixth sense that was creeping up the back of her neck. Sometimes (Y/n)'s senses would be heightened and she would get intimidated for no reason.
Hurrying past the room, (Y/n) dashed across the living room and headed over to the kitchen. Ed would be back soon, he had only gone to the shops and when he was here, the balance would come back and (Y/n) would feel safe and calm again.
(Y/n) busied herself moving the cups and plates off the table from breakfast and took them to the sink before she switched the radio on. Silence was never nice, it left (Y/n) prone to being stuck in her thoughts and that often led to trouble.
Her soft voice hummed along with the tune playing loudly throughout the kitchen and her body slowly relaxed and started to sway side to side as her eyes fell shut. She could feel herself becoming lost in the music as time passed by and she kept herself busy. But something started to prickle at the back of her neck. The hairs on her skin started to stick up in defense and a small slither of dread crawled up her spine.
She wanted to keep her eyes closed. (Y/n) was desperate to stay in the darkness and be oblivious to any other sixth sense she was starting to have in her home that always felt like a safe haven; but she couldn't help it.
Her eyes opened without her command, and something sweeped across the corner of her vision.
For a few seconds, (Y/n) stayed deathly still facing the window with her hands unmoving in the sink, too afraid to pick up the plate she had been washing but also too afraid to try and dry her hands. Her breathing slowed down until she was barely breathing at all and she prayed whatever had just caught in the corner of her eye had disappeared as quickly as it had arrived.
The most horrifying, deafening scream took (Y/n) by surprise.
It was such a shrill torturous sound that cut through (Y/n) like a sharp knife slicing into her skin and it sounded like someone was less than an inch away from her ear, screaming at the top of their lungs.
Her body became stiff and rigid before she began to shake with fright. Her head turned to try and see what was suddenly standing beside her but one look at the horrid face with the broken, hanging jaw and black teeth had (Y/n) shutting her eyes as tight as she could. Her fingers moved up and curled around the cross hanging from her neck and a Latin chant bumbled past her lips.
What was in her home with her? Why was it in her home?
A searing pain shot through her wrists that felt like someone had searing hot pokers for fingers that were burning into her flesh and caused (Y/n) to scream. It was gone.
For a few seconds, maybe even a few minutes, (Y/n) stayed stiff as a board in the same place that thing had left her. Both hands were tightly holding the cross around her neck, her eyes were screwed shut and her wrists were scolded and torturously hot. Every part of her started to shake and she could feel the baby inside her doing summersaults from the shock and confusion of what was going on.
She hadn't realised she started crying until she dared to open her eyes and look around but she already knew it had gone, her sixth sense was dulling back down now and she was back to being alone.
When she looked down at her hands that were still shaking despite clutching to her cross for dear life, her wrists were marked. It didn't look like scorch marks and they didn't look burned like they felt, but they were discoloured to say the very least. And if she looked closely, (Y/n) was sure she could see the faint outline of finger marks.
The sound of the front door opening sent a shiver reeling through (Y/n)'s body but she couldn't find it in herself to move. Her body was rooted to the spot, her legs were made of stone, unwilling to budge in any direction in case the demon came back again. Her fingers felt stiff like she was in rigamortis and she was half expecting them to crack or snap when she finally prized her hands from the cross searing into her skin.
Her hands trembled when she submerged them into the water and she had to bite down a cry when the water licked at her wounded wrists.
The music from the radio finally seemed to get through (Y/n)'s ears now the screaming had ceased and the music made her feel less stiff and a little more at ease before she could hear Ed's ruggid voice calling out to her, asking where abouts she was. She couldn't trust her voice enough to answer.
"Hey hun, I think I got everything... are you okay?" Ed placed the shopping bags down on the kitchen table so they weren't cutting through his fingers but the smile on his face slowly faltered at the corners when he looked across at (Y/n). She looked like she was washing up, but she wasn't actually moving and she hadn't said anything yet when usually she would bound up to him the moment he came home and almost knock him off his feet.
"Hm, I'm fine."
(Y/n) did her best to smile and she shook the water from her hands before she turned and met him halfway.
Her arms cocooned around his lower abdomen and she buried her face in his chest, breathing in his scent that was clinging to the woolen jumper he was wearing. She could feel him chuckling deep within his chest which vibrated through her blood and made her feel less like a statue made of stone.
"Sweetheart you're shaking," Ed felt the smile slip off his face in a heartbeat. She was trembling in his arms, why was she shaking like this? He had been gone just over an hour, two at the most. Not long enough for something bad to happen, surely? "Talk to me hun, what's wrong?"
He tried to pull back but (Y/n) clung to him tighter and tighter until her arms were cutting into his sides and back and her face was pressing up against his ribs like she was trying to merge them together. Now she was scaring him.
With gritted teeth and pursed lips, Ed gently held (Y/n)'s arms and pried them free of his waist so he could take one tiny step back in order to look down at his wife.
"When you came home the other night... I think you brought something back with you."
(Y/n) didn't have to say it explicitly for Ed to realise what she meant. She wasn't talking about some unintentional animal climbing into the car on his way home or him bringing an illness back home with him. Something evil had come back with him from his latest case, but he couldn't think what or why or even how.
He had vanquished the demon he had gone to deal with. He and Dean had listened, analysed, recorded and exorcised the demon along with a priest from that area. It had gone and all the strange happenings had ceased, how did he bring something malevolent back with him?
"What did you see?" Ed smoothed his hands up and down (Y/n)'s arms and he tried to control his temper that was beginning to flare.
"I don't know what it was, it was screaming, I felt it the night you came home."
(Y/n) almost jumped when Ed's hands suddenly moved from her arms, up to her neck. His thumbs gently caressed the soft skin on her neck and she could see he was looking for marks since it had just dawned on him that if she felt it when he came home, then whatever it was had tried to hurt her. She hadn't had a panic attack.
His hands were soft and warm on her neck and the feeling made her skin tingle and a warmth formed in her stomach. Moving her hands, (Y/n) cupped his wrists and tried to smile but it seemed to be the wrong move. A darkness washed over Ed's face and his hands retracted from her neck within an instant and moved instead to hold her hands. He pulled her hands towards his chest and (Y/n) shivered when she saw his lips curl up in fury like he was about to snarl.
"It hurt you,"
"No, I'm okay," Even as she spoke, she didn't believe her own words and she knew her husband didn't either. One look at the marks on her wrists and it was clear they had to hurt with how nasty they looked. Something had followed him back to their home, their sanctuary, their safe space. And now it was trying to hurt his wife; this was something Ed wasn't going to stand for.
Moving her hands, (Y/n) looped her arms around his neck and leaned up until she could bury her face in the crook of Ed's neck. She took a few moments to breathe in his scent, feeling it wash through her like a drug overtaking her senses while his arms slowly wound around her hips.
The music from the radio once again seemed to tune back into (Y/n)'s ears and wrapped around them like a comforting blanket and (Y/n) could feel Ed slowly swaying their upper bodies along to the music.
It was soothing, it was sweet.
(Y/n) found herself smiling into his skin and her eyes fell closed as a few minutes passed them by while they stayed in their small bubble. But then (Y/n) could feel the hairs on the back of her neck standing up on end and a slow shiver tiptoed down her spine and throughout her nerves.
Her eyes stayed tightly shut and she could feel Ed's fingers digging tighter into her hips, showing he felt it too. (Y/n) tried to focus on the feeling of Ed's strong hands pressing into the flesh of her hips and how she could feel his head tilting up until his chin was touching the top of her head. Everything felt like it was moving in slow motion. His hands slowly curved around her sides and he slowly side-stepped around her until (Y/n) was behind him, his arms out behind him so he could still hold onto her. Reassuring himself she was safely behind him.
One hand moved to grab the cross around her neck while her other hand scrunched up Ed's jumper in a fist so tight her arm started to shake.
Whatever had followed him home, it was back again.
(Y/n) didn't dare open her eyes this time. She didn't want to know what it was or what it looked like, she just wanted it to leave. It had taken a very quick disliking to her, usually it was the other way around, usually spirits and demonic presences took a liking to (Y/n). They sought out her sixth sense and tried to communicate with or through her, they didn't normally try and attack her straight away but the moment Ed came home the other day, this spirit seemed to hate her.
Ed tightened his hand on (Y/n)'s hip and slowly nudged her back until he knew she was pressed between the kitchen counter and him. At least if he had her sandwiched behind him, he knew he could keep her safe. He wasn't having her get hurt by what was in front of him.
Where was his bible? What incantation should he recite to try and vanquish this demon? It wasn't one he had seen this week, he had brought a rouge one back home he hadn't even sensed until now.
Moving one hand, Ed quickly crossed himself before he held onto (Y/n) again and slowly started to shuffle her towards the doorway. His bible was in the living room, if he could get in there quickly he could find the right incantation and be rid of his spirit before it did any damage.
They only moved two steps away before (Y/n) screamed. It felt like fingers were knotting in the hair at the back of her head and yanking on the strands so harshly she was sure a few loose ends had been ripped from her scalp. Her hands fumbled to try and reach behind her but just like when she had been strangled, she couldn't feel anything there.
Ed whipped the cross from round his neck and held it above the back of (Y/n)'s head while his other arm linked around her waist and pushed her in front of him. If only he had some Holy Water he could have sprinkled around (Y/n) to keep her a little safer.
But the cross seemed to do the trick for (Y/n) stumbled forward, feeling like her hair had been released but her body had been given a rough shove.
"My Bible's in the living room,"
(Y/n) kept her shoulders hunched and her arms coiled around her stomach and with Ed's arms around her shoulders and chest, they stumbled through the kitchen and into the living room just as the door slammed shut behind them. Trapping them inside.
It felt like a game. When Ed grabbed his bible from the coffee table, the vase of flowers in the window suddenly started to levitate.
"No!"
(Y/n) hastily curled her fingers around Ed's arm, disrupting him in finding the right verse in the book so that she could drag him down to the floor before the vase smashed into his head.
They backed up towards the sofa and (Y/n) coiled in on herself, lowering her head down near her knees and then Ed wrapped around her like a safety net. He leaned his chest over her back, keeping her tucked into his chest with his arms around her frame and the bible held in front of them.
He had to squint badly to read the Latin script, he didn't know where his glasses were and there was no time to go hunting around for them. With the book in his left hand and the cross hanging from his right fist, he started to chant. He felt (Y/n) hastily repeating the same verse, muffled by his jumper, but still audible.
Everything around them began to shake and every door in the house must have opened and slammed closed at the same time making an hurricane of wind barge through the room, knocking them both off balance.
Ed's chest heaved with each harsh breath and he felt lightheaded from his rapid chanting but a wave of heat seemed to swarm around them. The cold had all but evaporated and the glass on the coffee table settled back in place and the rippling water in the glass finally leveled out again. Whatever had followed him home had been vanquished.
"Hun, are you alright?"
Straightening up, Ed sat back on his heels and squared his shoulders to crack his spine back into place. He let his arms loosely coil around (Y/n) as she pushed herself back up. Her hands clenched around his jumper so tightly he thought she was going to rip it off him but he could see the look in her eyes. It was a look he had memorised so many times over the past few years. A wave of calmness wahed over her pupils and the frantic look disappated.
Her sixth sense wasn't flaring up anymore, she could feel everything settling around them again.
"I think so."
"Good. I'm sorry, I swear nothing is ever gonna follow me home again."

Blizzards and Beef Stew - Chapter 6 (Patrick Wilson x FOC)
Masterlist Ao3
Blizzards and Beef Stew Masterlink
Summary
[Patrick Wilson x Original Female Character] [Patrick Wilson x Original Character] Éléanor had always adored winter: its snow, its crisp air. But what she treasured most was retreating to her cosy cabin in the Swedish mountains. There, she could bake, sketch, and enjoy the solitude, far from the noise of the world. At least, that’s how it used to be—until a new neighbour arrived. Patrick Wilson was tall, charming, and with a smile that seemed to melt the coldest days. As they struck up a friendship, Éléanor found herself drawn to him, even though he remained oddly secretive about his last name and evasive about his work. But when a fierce snowstorm trapped them both, it became clear that Patrick might just be the warmth she needed in more ways than one. OR: Patrick uses his body to warm up Éléanor in the snowy mountains.

Éléanor woke up slowly, the soft light of morning filtering through the windows, casting a gentle glow across the room. She blinked, momentarily disoriented, before remembering where she was—Patrick’s couch, wrapped up in his blankets, the memory of last night still fresh in her mind. A mix of emotions stirred within her: contentment from the quiet intimacy they’d shared, a hint of embarrassment from how things had played out, and something deeper that left her feeling warm and a little vulnerable.
The storm still raged outside, the wind howling softly, but it wasn’t as brutal as the night before. Snow had piled up high around the cabin, turning the world outside into a quiet, white wilderness. Éléanor’s gaze drifted to the couch beside her, where Patrick still slept, his broad chest rising and falling with each breath.
For a moment, she let herself look at him—really look.
His shirtless body was sprawled comfortably under the blanket, and her eyes traced the lines of his muscles, now highlighted by the morning light creeping through the window. His chest was broader than she’d really noticed before, the pale skin dusted with a light covering of chest hair, something she hadn’t noticed in the dark last night. It curled softly, catching the flicker of firelight, giving him a rugged, masculine edge that made her pulse quicken.
His face was relaxed and peaceful, a stark contrast to the tension he’d carried last night. His lips were slightly parted, and his dark lashes cast faint shadows against his skin. Watching him like this, she felt a warmth that had nothing to do with the blankets or the fire.
His stubble had grown more noticeable, the coarse hairs along his jawline now thicker, and a shadow of a moustache was forming, giving him an almost roguish appearance. Flecks of grey dotted his sideburns, and as the light hit his face, it gave him a certain maturity that contrasted with his boyish grin.
She found it hard to tear her eyes away—so she didn’t.
Her eyes trailed down his body, taking in his flat, defined stomach and the curve of his hips. His boxers clung to him, riding low on his waist, leaving little to the imagination. The blanket had slipped just enough to reveal the curve of his muscular thighs, and Éléanor’s face flushed as she caught herself staring.
God, he was so attractive.
With a deep breath, she slipped out from under the covers, careful not to disturb him.
The wooden floor was cold under her feet as she padded towards the small kitchen, grabbing his sweater that lay discarded on the floor and pulling it over her head.
She wanted to keep busy, to distract herself from the tangle of emotions still swirling inside her. Pulling Patrick’s pullover tighter around her, she began to rummage through what little they had left, trying to piece together some kind of breakfast. Eggs, a few slices of bread, some cheese—it wasn’t much, but it would do.
As she stood by the counter, cracking the eggs into a bowl and slicing up the bread, her thoughts drifted back to the events of the night before. The way Patrick had panicked, the way they’d calmed each other down afterwards, cuddling in the firelight. She couldn’t help but feel grateful for the way they’d handled it. It could have been awkward—embarrassing even—but instead, it had made her feel closer to him in a way she hadn’t expected.
As she mixed the eggs in a bowl, trying to figure out how to cook it without a stove, she heard a soft shuffle behind her. Before she could turn around, Patrick’s arms slid around her waist, pulling her gently back against his chest.
She melted into him, feeling the solid warmth of his body pressing against her back. His chest hair brushed against the back of her neck as he leaned down, his chin resting on her head and his breath against her.
“Morning,” he murmured, his voice rough with sleep, vibrating against her skin. The sound sent a shiver down her spine.
Éléanor smiled, leaning back into him, enjoying the easy warmth between them. “Morning,” she replied softly, turning her head slightly to glance at him. His eyes were still heavy-lidded, his hair tousled from sleep, but there was a soft smile playing at his lips.
He tightened his arms around her just slightly, pulling her closer. “What are you doing?” he asked and stifled a yawn.
“Trying to make breakfast with what little we have,” she said with a soft laugh. “But the stove doesn’t work, and I have no idea how to cook this without it.”
Patrick chuckled, leaning in to press a soft kiss to her shoulder, his touch warm and reassuring. “We’ll figure something out.” His gaze dropped to the bowl in her hands and then flicked back up with a crooked smile. “Or, we could just stick to bread and cheese. A low-maintenance breakfast.”
Éléanor laughed, the sound light and easy, and she felt the tension from the previous night fully dissolve. She caught herself blushing slightly, a bit embarrassed she hadn’t thought of that simple solution first. The eggs were wasted now, a casualty of their morning scramble, but she found she didn’t really mind.
“Honestly, that’s probably the best idea I’ve heard all morning,” she admitted, glancing over at the loaf of crusty bread and the wedge of cheese sitting on the counter. The simplicity of it, the way the fire crackled in the background, made her feel at ease. She let out a small sigh, comforted by the idea that life didn’t have to be perfect to be good.
Patrick’s smile widened, the corners of his eyes crinkling with warmth. “See? It’s the small things,” he said, reaching out to tuck a stray lock of hair behind her ear. The gesture was so natural, so effortlessly caring, that it sent a tiny flutter through her chest.
She set the bowl down on the counter, the broken eggs an afterthought now, and reached for a knife to slice into the cheese. “Next time, I’m sticking to the basics,” she joked, her voice touched with a playful self-mockery and lingering embarrassment.
Patrick’s deep, warm laugh filled the small kitchen, wrapping around her like a favourite blanket. “No need to overthink it,” he said, his eyes finding hers, their familiar sparkle comforting. “It’s not really about the eggs or anything. It’s about mornings like this.”
A soft pause settled between them, broken only by the crackle of the fire and the occasional pop of a burning log. His gaze drifted down, a playful smirk forming as he tilted his head. “You’re wearing my sweater,” he remarked, his voice low and teasing. The brush of his lips against the side of her neck caused her skin to erupt in goosebumps.
Éléanor felt the warmth rise in her cheeks, and she couldn’t help but grin as she turned just enough to catch his eyes. “You didn’t exactly leave me much choice,” she shot back, the humour in her voice softening the air between them. “You were hogging all the blankets.”
He chuckled, the sound vibrating against her skin as he nuzzled closer. “Fair enough,” he admitted, his breath warm and unwavering. The nearness was intoxicating, a blend of comfort and tension that made her pulse quicken.
For a moment, they simply stood there, wrapped in the golden glow of the morning sun filtering through the window. His hands rested gently on her waist, and fingers splayed as if to anchor them both at that moment. She could feel the steady rhythm of his breathing, the rise and fall of his chest against her back. It was an odd mix of domesticity and heat, standing there in his oversized pullover while he held her, both of them pretending that the night before hadn’t changed everything.
Reluctantly, Patrick let his arms fall, stepping away with a small sigh as he moved towards the table where he stretched, his body unfolding in a way that drew her eyes once more. His boxers clung to him, highlighting the sculpted muscles of his thighs and the curve of his back in a way that had her biting her lip. She couldn’t help but notice the way they fit snugly over his ass—tight, firm, and perfectly shaped.
His back muscles rippled as he reached for the ceiling, the light catching on the ridges of his shoulders and the faint sheen of sweat that lingered from the warmth of the room.
Éléanor’s pulse quickened as she watched him, a smile tugging at her lips before she turned to grab the simple breakfast supplies. Patrick brought the bread and cheese from the counter and placed them on the small, weathered table. She followed, carrying two mismatched mugs of instant coffee—more than enough given the circumstances of the power outage.
Patrick leaned over to stoke the fire, the crackle growing stronger as new flames licked at the logs. The warm glow cast long, shifting shadows that danced across the cabin walls, contrasting with the cold, pearly light outside. Snowflakes continued to drift steadily down, adding to the thick blanket that muted all sound beyond the walls.
They settled into the nook beside the fire, knees touching beneath the table, sharing the kind of comfortable silence that spoke more than words could. The flickering light played on their faces, illuminating the curve of Patrick’s smile as he passed her a piece of bread. Their fingers brushed, and a warm spark passed between them.
“So... the storm’s still going,” Patrick finally said, glancing out the window, his eyes following the swirling snow that danced in chaotic patterns against the glass—a sea of white that refused to calm. “Looks like it’s not letting up anytime soon,” he said, his voice low and thoughtful.
“Could be worse,” Éléanor said with a teasing grin, her tone light, though her heart beat just a little faster. “We have food, warmth... and decent company.”
Patrick raised an eyebrow, a smirk curving his lips in response. “Decent? That’s all I get?”
“Well,” she said, the blush rising to her cheeks as she held his gaze, her pulse fluttering under his scrutiny. “I didn’t want to inflate your ego too much.”
He laughed softly, the sound low and rich, the kind that made her stomach flip. Leaning back in his chair, he looked relaxed, but there was an unmistakable spark in his eyes, a playful warmth that drew her in. “More than decent,” he corrected, his voice dipping into a tone that was both teasing and sincere.
Éléanor took another sip of coffee, cradling the warm mug in her hands as she glanced out the window at the snow piling higher in an attempt to stop the fluttering in her chest. “You know … This is probably the most basic breakfast I’ve made in years,” Éléanor said, smiling over the rim of her mug as she took a sip of coffee.
Patrick’s eyes didn’t leave her. “Hey, it’s perfect,” he said, the simplicity of the moment not lost on him. “We’ve got everything we need right here.”
The fire’s warmth settled around them, casting a golden glow that made the cabin feel cocooned from the storm. The silence that followed wasn’t uncomfortable; it was heavy with unsaid things, a shared realisation that the world outside had ceased to matter for now.
“I guess we’re lucky we even have this,” Éléanor said softly, her voice trailing as she looked back at him, their faces close enough to feel the heat radiating between them. “It could’ve been much worse.”
Patrick nodded, but his eyes lingered on her, darkening with an emotion that made the room feel warmer still. “Yeah,” he said, his voice dropping to a near whisper. “I’m glad it’s you I’m stuck here with. You’re... pretty decent company .” The playful curve of his lips softened, revealing a sincerity that wrapped around her like a blanket.
He leaned forward, the movement deliberate, and brushed his fingers across her hand. The touch sent a spark through her, lingering even as he set her empty mug aside with care. When he turned back to her, his expression had shifted, eyes intense, as if he were trying to memorise every detail.
Patrick’s hand lifted, moving slowly until it cupped her cheek, his thumb grazing the curve of her jaw with a tenderness that left her breathless. Éléanor leaned into his touch, her heartbeat thundering in her chest as their eyes met, the distance between them shrinking with every second.
Neither of them spoke.
Patrick moved first, leaning in and closing the small space between them. When their lips met, it was as if a spark had lit a fuse.
Éléanor’s hand slid up to the back of his neck, her fingers tangling in his hair, pulling him closer with an unspoken plea. He responded in kind, his arm wrapping around her waist with a sure but tender touch.
In a seamless motion, they rose together, the movement natural and instinctive, their lips never breaking contact. Patrick guided her backwards, steps slow and steady but charged with intent as they made their way towards the couch.
Éléanor’s heart pounded in her chest, her body alive with sensation. Every brush of Patrick’s lips, every touch of his hand on her skin, sent sparks of warmth coursing through her, making her pulse race.
Patrick gently eased her down onto the couch, his body hovering over hers as their kisses grew more urgent, more demanding, more desperate.
The space between them seemed to evaporate as his hands moved over her back, tracing her curves with a mix of tenderness and raw need. His touch was everywhere —gentle but commanding, igniting a fire that blazed hotter with each passing second.
Éléanor’s fingers threaded through his hair, pulling him closer, craving more. She felt like she was burning from the inside, her skin tingling with a fierce energy, like that fuse they had lit had finally exploded.
There was nothing else—just him.
They broke the kiss for just a moment, both of them breathing heavily, their foreheads resting together as they tried to catch their breath. Patrick’s hands were still on her waist, his thumb brushing lightly against her skin, the simple touch sending waves of heat through her, stoking the fire that was already burning inside her.
“Are you sure about this?” His voice was low, husky, each word a quiet rumble that made her heart race. His breath was warm against her lips, his question lingering between them.
Éléanor smiled, her heart fluttering with a mix of excitement and certainty. She reached up, her hand cupping his cheek, her thumb grazing the stubble along his jaw as she looked into his eyes. “Yeah,” she whispered, her voice soft but steady, filled with the surety she felt at that moment. “I’m sure.”
With that, Patrick’s lips were on hers again, the kiss deeper this time, more confident. His hand slid under her sweater, his fingers brushing against her bare skin. Éléanor gasped into his mouth, arching her back as she pressed herself closer to him, her body responding to his every touch.
Patrick slowly began to lift the fabric, his hands warm and steady. Éléanor shifted beneath him, helping him peel it away, her skin instantly exposed to the cool air of the cabin, leaving her in only her panties.
But before she could feel the cold, Patrick was there, his hands on her bare waist, his mouth covering hers in another slow, deep kiss. Before he lowered himself, pressing hot, open-mouthed kisses along her collarbone. His lips moved with a deliberate slowness, trailing down the sensitive skin of her neck and over her chest, each kiss drawing a soft gasp from Éléanor.
She let her hands wander across his broad shoulders, feeling the strength in him as he held her close, his body warm against hers. His lips brushed over the swell of her breasts, his breath teasing against her skin before he dipped his head lower, leaving a trail of heated kisses as he moved down her body.
The firelight flickered, casting golden shadows across the room, making the moment feel all the more intimate, as if they were the only two people in the world.
Patrick’s hands traced the curve of her waist, pulling her closer as he kissed just above the waistband of her panties, his breath warm against her skin. Éléanor’s breath hitched as his lips lingered there, his touch sending waves of pleasure through her.
He kissed his way back up, capturing her mouth in a deep, passionate kiss that left her breathless, his hands roaming over her sides. Then, with a smooth, almost teasing motion, he tugged at her underwear again before sliding them down and tossing them aside.
She felt the cold air on her overheated, exposed skin, and her nerves thrummed in arousal.
Éléanor’s hands slid down his chest, feeling the warmth of his skin under her palms, her fingers grazing the elastic of his boxers. She felt his hard cock through the thin layer of fabric and was desperate to feel him, to continue what they had started yesterday.
So she pushed his boxers down, leaving them both completely exposed, their bodies pressed together, skin against skin.
Patrick looked down at Éléanor in the soft morning light, his features softened by the glow filtering through the windows. The shadows from the slowly burning fire danced across his sharp jawline, but it was the intensity in his eyes, the way he looked at her like she was the only thing that mattered at that moment, that made Éléanor feel like she was melting beneath him.
His chest, broad and strong, rose and fell with steady breaths, but the tension in his muscles betrayed the restraint he was barely holding onto.
Éléanor’s eyes dropped to his body, taking in the sight of him, her breath catching in her throat. He was perfect—every inch of him strong and toned, his cock hard and thick, standing proudly against his abdomen. She reached out, her hand wrapping around him, her fingers brushing over his length. Patrick let out a low groan, his hips pushing forward slightly into her hand as he closed his eyes for a moment, savouring the sensation.
But he didn’t let her linger there long.
His fingers traced lightly over her skin, starting at her collarbone and slowly moving downward, exploring her curves as if committing every inch of her to memory. Éléanor shivered at the warmth of his touch, her body responding to the slow burn of his attention before her mind could even catch up.
His hands, big and slightly rough, slid over her breasts, his thumbs brushing over her nipples with just enough pressure to make her gasp.
Patrick’s mouth followed, placing soft kisses along her collarbone, then lower, his lips brushing over her chest, leaving a trail of heat in their wake. Éléanor arched into him, her breath coming faster as his lips closed around her nipple, his hand still gently kneading the other breast.
The sensation was overwhelming—his warmth against the cool air of the cabin, the firelight flickering beside them, and the intimacy of his touch sending jolts of pleasure through her.
Éléanor’s fingers tangled in his hair, pulling him closer, her body instinctively moving with his as he kissed and touched her with growing intensity. His hands roamed lower, brushing over her stomach and down to her hips, and then, with a firm but gentle grip, he guided her legs apart. The warmth of his fingers, firm but gentle, made her hips lift involuntarily, a soft moan escaping her lips.
Without a word, he slid his hand between her legs, his fingers finding her cunt wet.
He paused for just a second, letting the sensation sink in for both of them. “Éléanor,” he murmured, his voice thick with desire, his fingers brushing over her sex with a soft touch, barely parting the netherlips but enough to feel her wetness.
Patrick’s eyes flicked up to meet hers, and a low groan rumbled from his chest as he watched Éléanor gasping and her body trembling under his touch.
He slipped two of his thick, strong fingers into her cunt, pressing them in deep and curling them just enough to find that sensitive spot within her, the one that made her back arch and her breath catch in her throat.
Éléanor moaned, her hands gripping his shoulders, her body reacting to every movement he made. The way his fingers curled inside her and the steady pressure he applied sent wave after wave of desire through her.
Patrick watched her closely, his gaze locked on her face as he continued to finger her with that perfect rhythm, his thumb now brushing over her clit in slow, firm circles. The pleasure was instantaneous, sharp, her hips instinctively lifting to meet his hand. Éléanor moaned into his mouth, her body trembling as he played her like an instrument he knew too well.
“Fuck, you’re so wet,” Patrick groaned, his voice barely a whisper, full of awe and lust. His thumb pressed against her clit again, his fingers moving in rhythm with the growing tension between them. Éléanor’s body responded instantly, tightening around him, her hands gripping his shoulders tighter, nails digging into his skin as she urged him on.
“Patrick…” she gasped, barely able to form words, her hips grinding against his hand as her body moved in sync with his. His fingers pumped inside her, slow but steady, the high building with each thrust. She felt his cock, hard and hot, pressing against her thigh as his thumb continued its relentless work on her clit, sending her closer and closer to the edge.
He could feel it too—the way her body tensed and quivered beneath him, the growing wetness that coated his fingers as he stroked her deeply, curling his fingers inside her just to hear that sweet gasp leave her lips. The sensation of her slick heat gripping him made his cock ache with need, and the way her body responded to his touch only heightened his arousal.
Éléanor’s hips bucked against his hand, her moans growing louder as she felt herself teetering on the brink. Patrick’s fingers moved faster, his thumb pressing firmly against her clit, sending her spiralling into a frenzy of pleasure. Her breaths came in ragged gasps as she clung to him, her body trembling under the overwhelming sensation.
Éléanor’s hand shot up, tangling in his hair, pulling him down for a kiss that was anything but gentle. Her lips moved urgently against his, her breath hot and uneven as she kissed him deeply, swallowing his groans of pleasure. She was so close, her body strung tight, every nerve on fire as he continued his slow, torturous rhythm.
And then he stopped.
He withdrew his fingers slightly, his thumb easing its pressure, leaving her right at the precipice but holding her there, not letting her fall. Éléanor let out a frustrated gasp, her body aching for release as she looked up at him in confusion.
He cupped her face with his now damp fingers, his thumb brushing over her cheek as he kissed her again, softer this time, more controlled. “Not yet,” he whispered against her lips, his voice thick with desire but laced with restraint. He was holding back, savouring every moment, wanting to prolong the pleasure for as long as possible.
Éléanor’s body throbbed with need, every nerve alight with the desire for more, but as Patrick kissed her again, slower, deeper, she melted into him, letting herself get lost in the heat of the moment.
He started to move his fingers inside her again, slow and teasing.
She needed more, her hips rolling against his hand as she sought relief from the unbearable tension building inside her. But Patrick was in control now, his lips ghosting over her neck, the soft, teasing brush of his mouth making her moan with frustration and desire.
“Patrick, please…” she whispered, her voice barely audible, breathless with need.
He lifted his head, his dark, hungry eyes meeting hers.
A smile played at the corner of his lips, and he kissed her again, this time slower, deeper, letting her feel the heat of him. His free hand traced up her side, his fingers brushing over her bare breast, teasing the sensitive skin. Éléanor gasped into his mouth as his hand cupped her breast, his thumb rolling over her nipple again, making it peak under his touch.
Her body responded to every move he made, a slow, torturous build of pleasure that had her squirming beneath him. Patrick broke the kiss, his lips moving to her jawline, trailing hot kisses down her neck and over her collarbone. He paused at her breast, his tongue flicking over her nipple before he took it into his mouth, sucking gently.
Éléanor cried out, her back arching, her body pressing closer to him as the sensation of his mouth on her breast and his fingers inside her drove her crazy. The combination of his touch, his lips, and the deliberate, slow pace was overwhelming, every nerve in her body alive and burning for him.
Patrick’s fingers curled inside her again, pressing against that spot deep within her, his thumb rubbing slow circles over her clit. Éléanor’s breath hitched, her entire body tensing as the pleasure surged through her in waves. She could feel the edge approaching again, that delicious tightness in her core building, but Patrick kept her on the brink again .
Her fingers tangled in his hair, pulling him back up to her lips, and she kissed him with a fierce intensity, her frustration and desire pouring into the kiss. Patrick groaned into her mouth, his own need evident as he pressed his hips against her, his hard cock rubbing against her thigh, spreading precum on her skin.
“Patrick… I need you,” Éléanor murmured, her voice a breathless plea against his lips, her desperation raw and unguarded.
He pulled back just enough to meet her gaze, his hand still working her slowly. His eyes darkened at her words, the intensity in them almost too much to bear. He kissed her again, rougher this time, before pulling his hand away, leaving her empty and aching for more.
Patrick’s fingers paused for a moment as he looked into Éléanor’s eyes, his breath hot and heavy against her skin. He pulled back slightly, the desire still strong between them, but his gaze softened, filled with a mix of hunger and care.
“I should grab a condom,” he murmured, his voice low but steady, breaking the tension just enough to pull them both back to reality, and the memory of last night flickered in his eyes.
Éléanor nodded, her chest still rising and falling quickly as she tried to catch her breath. “Yes… please,” she whispered, her body already aching for him to return, the intensity of the moment too much to wait.
Patrick reached for his wallet on the side table, his mouth curving in a small, knowing smile as he pulled out the condom, seemingly having placed it there sometime after last night, perhaps in a mix of preparation and nerves.
Without thinking, she reached out, her fingers brushing his wrist as she spoke softly, “Let me…”
Patrick shook his head gently, his thumb grazing her knuckles as he held her gaze, his expression soft yet resolute. His eyes stayed on hers as he shook his head, his voice low and soothing. “No, it’s fine—I’ll do it. I don’t think I’ll be able to keep it together if you touch my dick now.”
She watched as his fingers deftly tore open the small packet, the tearing sound loud in the quiet room. His fingers brushed her thigh as he rolled the condom over his hard cock. Her heart pounded in her chest, the sight of him making her thighs clench together in anticipation.
Patrick leaned forward again, his body pressing into hers, the warmth of his skin seeping into her. His lips found hers, slow and deliberate. His hand, rough yet gentle, slid down her side, tracing the curve of her waist before his fingers brushed over the sensitive skin between her legs.
Éléanor gasped into his mouth, her hips instinctively arching towards his touch as his fingers explored her wet sex once more. He teased her, his thumb circling her clit with agonising slowness while his fingers slipped inside her, stretching her just enough to remind her of how much she needed him.
“You’re so perfect like this,” he whispered against her lips, his voice rough and low, sending shivers down her spine. Every inch of her body responded to him, the heat between them growing unbearable, her need for him nearly overwhelming.
Patrick could feel it, too, the way her body clenched around his fingers, her slick heat making his head spin. He groaned softly, the sound reverberating between them, as he moved his hand to guide his cock to her entrance.
She moaned into his mouth, her body trembling with need. Patrick’s cock brushed against her again, the condom in place, and this time there was no hesitation—not like last night. His hand gripped her thigh, pulling her leg up to wrap around his waist as he slowly pushed inside her.
Éléanor’s sharp intake of breath echoed in the room as her body responded to the delicious stretch, her nails digging into his back as she pulled him closer. Patrick’s heart raced, his body trembling as he fought to maintain control, the feeling of her slick heat surrounding him inch by inch.
The sensation of him filling her, stretching her slowly, was everything she had been craving and everything she didn’t know she was craving.
“God… you feel incredible,” he breathed, his forehead resting against hers as he pushed deeper, his cock sinking into her with slow, measured thrusts. He could feel every pulse of her body, every tremor as her walls gripped him tighter.
Her body responded instantly, arching up to meet him, desperate for more. But Patrick moved with deliberate care, easing into her slowly. Filling her inch by inch until he was fully inside her. He groaned against her neck, his breath ragged as he held himself still for a moment, letting her adjust to the feeling of him.
Éléanor’s hips rolled instinctively, urging him deeper, her breath coming in shallow gasps. “Patrick, move,” she whispered, her voice laced with need as her legs wrapped around his waist. She was losing herself in the feeling of him, the fullness, the weight, the stretch.
He started slow, his thrusts gentle but deep, each one sending ripples of pleasure through them both. Patrick could feel the way her body responded to him, the soft moans escaping her lips driving him wild.
As his pace quickened, he kissed her again, hard and desperate. His hands roamed over her body, one cupping her breast, kneading gently, while the other slipped between them, his fingers finding her clit again.
Éléanor gasped loudly, her body trembling beneath him as he worked her with expert precision, his cock moving in sync with his fingers. Every thrust, every touch, brought her closer to the edge, and Patrick could feel her body tightening around him, her breath coming faster, her moans louder.
He couldn’t hold back anymore, the pressure inside him building as he lost himself in the moment.
His hips moved with a deep, driving rhythm, each thrust intensifying as his fingers circled her clit with relentless precision. Éléanor’s breath hitched, her gasps quickening as her body arched beneath him, her soft cries filling the room.
“Patrick… I—I’m so close,” she whispered, her voice laced with desperate need, her body tightening around him as she felt the pressure mounting, ready to break.
Patrick groaned in response, his own control fraying as his movements became more urgent, his fingers working her with precision. He kissed her again, his lips crashing against hers as the tension in her body snapped with a particularly rough flick of his finger on her clit.
Éléanor’s orgasm hit her like a tidal wave, her body arching off the couch as her walls clenched around him. She gasped his name, her voice trembling with the intensity of her release, her fingers gripping his shoulders as wave after wave of pleasure washed over her.
Patrick followed her, his thrusts becoming erratic as he chased his own release. With a final deep thrust, he groaned her name, his body shuddering as he came, the condom filling with his cum. His body collapsed against hers, both of them breathless and spent.
For a few moments, neither of them moved. The only sound in the room was their soft, shared breaths and the crackling of the fire nearby. Patrick slowly pulled out, carefully removing the condom and tossing it aside before settling back down beside her.
They lay in a comfortable silence, their bodies entwined as the room slowly settled around them. The soft, golden morning light spilt in through the windows, warming the space as they stayed close, wrapped in each other’s presence. Patrick’s fingers traced gentle, soothing patterns on her arm, and Éléanor let herself sink into the comfort of his steady heartbeat beneath her hand.
She felt like she could stay here forever, wrapped in this quiet, unhurried happiness.

Sleep Aid~ Vera Farmiga x Reader
Tumblr media
summary~ you can't sleep, but vera is your sleep aid.
——————————————————————————
Grumbling in annoyance, I sit up in my bed and stretch my legs. Atleast a solid 1 hour and a half I've been trying to sleep with no luck at all. Huffing, I get out of bed and grab my fluffy blanket and throw it over my shoulders.
Grumpily, is walking downstairs, I poke my head around the corner of the living room, where Vera was quietly watching tv also scrolling on her phone. I make my way over to her and stand in front waiting for her to notice me. She looks up, confused as she thought I was sleeping.
"You okay hun?" she asks softly
I say nothing and simply open my blanket, making grabby hands. She shifts her position allowing me into her lap. I curl up on her lap and hold onto her tight feeling instantly better in her presence.
"What's wrong my love?" She inquires, rubbing my back gently with one hand, turning down the tv with the other.
"I can't sleep" I grumble into her chest "I've been trying for hours"
she begins gently rocking back and forth, "I'm sorry hun, come on sleep now"
Before long i find myself drifting off to the sound of her beating heart against my ear.
———————————————————————————
Vera debated on getting up, needing to put you to bed, but wanting to do so without waking you.
She finally decided that she too was a little tired and to get you to bed.
After shutting off the tv, she gently secured her hands under your thighs. Carefully standing up from the couch making her way to the bedroom doing her best not to wake her sleeping girlfriend. When she gets to the bedroom, she tries to lay you down without stirring you but fails. You barely opened your eyes "Don't leave" you barely whispered out.
Vera suppressed her chuckles, reassuring you "I'm not going anywhere, I just need to change and I'll be right back to snuggle up okay hun" you let out a big yawn and snuggle in further to your blanket. Soon, as promised she crawls into bed laying herself down behind you and wrapping her arms around your front to hold you close.
As you feel her slide in behind you, you stir a little and turn around to face her. You let out a few mumbled sounds and snuggle your face into her chest taking in her scent, settling yourself to sleep.
She kissed the top of your head and said a quiet 'I love you'
Together the two of you both drift off with a small smile on each of your faces.

- Hey son, how was school today? – Ed Warren asked as soon as his son got in the car.
- It was ok – (Y/N) replied.
(Y/N) was not ok.
He always felt there was something different inside him, always felt out of place. Since he was a child, the boys at school teased him for being the son of “psychics”, and for a while (Y/N) didn't care. Then he began to see and feel things, just like his mother. Sometimes he spent too much time staring into the void, which wasn't always empty, and things got worse.
But ever since he entered high school it was as if things had escalated from 100 to 1000 at breakneck speed. He was the boy with the creepy basement at home, the boy who could see ghosts, and now he was also the boy who liked boys.
And that terrified (Y/N) far more than any apparition or demon that could show itself to him. He could deal with disapproval at school, with not having friends, with everyone being a little afraid of him. But he couldn't handle his parents' disappointment, and it terrified him completely.
In the last month things seem to have gone downhill from 1000 to 1500 when Theo started school. He and his family had recently moved to the United States from Mexico, and since that was a despicable country, obviously Latino immigrants suffered prejudice.
Firstly (Y/N) thought it would be nice for the boys to have someone else to pick on and forget about him, but he couldn't be more wrong. Theo was alone in class, just like him, no one sat next to him, or with him at recess. So (Y/N) decided that he would try to talk to the boy.
And what a big mistake he made.
Because now he felt like a magnet pulled him to Theo and his wide smile, pulled to how his accent was nice to hear, pulled to the way the boy made school a little less bad.
And he was confused, because he always felt a strange frenzy whenever they touched. And today everything had just fallen apart when Theo, thanking him for a favor, kissed (Y/N) on the cheek. The boy had never felt so ecstatic in his life. But the feeling didn't last long, when one of the boys from the school saw it and started spreading it to the whole school that the two were gay... but with worse words.
- Are you sure it's okay? – Ed asked again noticing that his son was more airy than usual.
- Yes? - (Y/N) asked, still lost in his thoughts.
- I asked if it's really okay.
- Yes, I'm just thinking about the algebra test I have to do this week.
- Okay, you know you can tell me everything, right? - Ed said still suspicious.
-- Uhmm. - (Y/N) replied, still distracted.
The trip home didn't last long, they soon arrived at the comfortable house they had in a good neighborhood of the city. The two, father and son, entered. Lorraine was making lunch when her son and husband came to greet her.
- Hi my love, how was school? – the woman asked
- It was okay. -(Y / N) replied and soon went upstairs to his room.
He wasn't well, he was confused, afraid, afraid of being a complete freak not only in the eyes of his classmates, but also in the eyes of his parents and God, in whom he faithfully believed.
- Did something happen? – Lorraine asked her husband downstairs.
Lorraine had a great sixth sense not only for supernatural things, but also for people's emotions, especially her son's, whom she knew like the back of her hand. She had always loved the boy more than anyone else, and since he had displayed the same gift as hers, her concern for him had redoubled. She knew school wasn't easy for him, but she would face human or demon so nothing would hurt her son.
- I don't know, but I think so. He didn't want to tell me anything during the trip. Usually he at least complains about how classes went. Is he... seeing something? - Ed questioned.
Ed Warren was the best dad in the world, and (Y/N) would never deny that. Even at the age of 15, he never felt ashamed when his father showed up at school, or when he publicly showed affection. Ed wasn't as good with words as Lorraine so he showed his love for his son through touch and quality time. He and (Y/N) would always hang out together to see the latest horror movie that was playing, and they loved to talk for hours about how wrong the films' approach to demon affairs was. Ed wanted to be everything his own father wasn't.
- No, I would feel it too if it was something like that. – Lorraine argued with her husband. – Did the new friend, Theo, do something that could make him upset?
- I don't know, but I know we should talk to him.
- I'll just turn off the pans and let's go upstairs. - Lorraine said.
They always dealt with their son's issues that way, together. They wanted (Y/N) to know that there was no secret between them and that he could always count on both his father and mother for whatever he needed.
(Y/N) was lying down, still wearing the same school clothes, he was staring at the ceiling thinking about Theo and how his body reacted to the boy. It wasn't as if he didn't know what puberty was, and what happened to boys during that period, his parents had already had a rather awkward conversation with him about it.
But (Y / N) never imagined that his body would have these reactions to a boy. He knew what homosexuality was, of course. He read a lot, and it wasn't something entirely forgotten about the classics of literature he loved so much.
But he also knew what the Bible and the Church said. And well... his parents were almost Church employees, so they should agree with everything that was preached, right? At least that's how (Y/N) thought.
A knock on the door takes the boy by surprise from his daydreams.
- (Y/N) it's mom and dad! Can we come in? - (Y/N) managed to hear his mother's sweet voice outside.
- Of course, the door is open.
(Y/N) was very grateful that his parents respected his privacy in his room, God knows how many awkward moments he has lived alone inside his little hiding place.
- Is lunch ready yet? - (Y/N) asked while his parents came in and sat on the edge of the bed.
- Yes. But we need to talk first. – Ed told his son.
(Y/N)'s heart went into panic, already wondering if something had left the school corridors and reached his parents' ears. He definitely didn't feel prepared for this conversation.
- My love, we know there's something wrong going on, you're not very good at hiding your feelings. And your mom here is even better at knowing when you're not feeling well. - Lorraine said with a worried voice.
- You know that whatever is happening, we will help you, we are here for you. – Ed said, sitting next to his son and taking his hand.
That was enough for the boy to start crying profusely. Lorraine and Ed soon hugged their son, looking at each other now even more worried about what was happening.
- Hey calm down, it's going to be okay, we're here – Ed said while stroking (Y/N's) hair.
The boy, for a little while, managed to compose himself and felt that there was no point in trying to hide his feelings from his parents anymore, maybe they could help him repress them and understand what was wrong with him.
- Do you remember the text of Leviticus 20.13? – The boy asked sinking into his place on the bed.
- Not exactly, nor do we know all the texts of the Bible dear, why? - Lorraine said.
- "The man who lies down with another man as if he were a woman, both committed an abomination" - The boy said quickly, without pausing to breathe between words.
- Yes, one of the commandments for the Hebrew people. But where are you trying to get son? - Ed asked genuinely a little confused.
- I think... I like boys. How am I supposed to like girls, and I know that's horrible, that it's a sin, so I want you to know that I'm sorry and I'm going to pray more for these impure feelings to leave me.
Ed and Lorraine looked at each other with a little regret, they had never made it clear in the family that this was a space open to love and only love.
- Is that what you were worried about? Lorraine asked.
- Yes. - (Y/N) said looking down with a lot of embarrassment.
- Oh my love.
Lorraine hugged her son as tightly as she could.
- Son, this text was written millennia ago and not even the Church itself considers everything that is in the ancient laws. - Ed said joining the hug.
- But what about the texts of the New Testament? - (Y/N) asked.
- You know they were mistranslated, we've talked about this before. – Ed replied, kissing his son's hair.
- But... what about what the Church talks about?
- The Church says a lot of things that are wrong. Do you remember what is the most important commandment in the Bible? - Lorraine said.
- Love your neighbor as yourself. - (Y/N) replied a little confused with where his parents where getting into.
- Exactly! Why would God condemn love when he himself said that love is above all things? - Lorraine said still hugging her son.
- So does that mean... everything's fine? - (Y/N) asked looking at his parents.
- Of course it's okay. This is never a problem. - Ed said.
- But what about God? Don't you think He would despise me?
- You, of all people, have a unique gift! God chose you for this, do you really think He would despise you? And even if your gift wasn't what you have, all people are loved equally by God. - Ed said.
(Y/N) hugged his parents and cried again, but this time not with sadness but with relief and joy, knowing that those he trusted the most were not disappointed, or sad with him, but that they would welcome him no matter what. And in that particular moment, he felt like the most loved boy in the entire universe.
-But tell me, which boy should I threaten if he breaks your heart? - Ed said getting out of the hug and wiping his son's tears.
- Dad... (Y/N) started to say.
And in that instant, in that particular moment, the Warren family was more united than ever, and it wouldn't be demon, or any social prejudice that would take away Ed and Lorraine's love for their (Y/N).

The tv was playing as you were all gathered around it. Your parents in one sofa, your dad’s arm over hers. You sat in the other sofa with a blanket over you. You pulled it tighter around you, letting out a shiver. It alerted your mom Lorraine. – “Are you cold honey?” – she questioned. Ed looked around, trying to feel the temperature for himself. – “It is rather warm in the room.” – he stated lowering his hand once more.
“Just a cold shiver.” – you responded, not sure what it was. – “Okay.” – Lorraine answered turning her attention to the tv once more. You snuggled under your blanket to keep as much of your own body heat as close as possible. After half an hour or so, you started to feel sleepy. Your eyes almost falling shut. Blinking rapidly, you sat yourself better.
It made your dad look briefly at you, reposition yourself. You couldn’t understand as you felt wide awake an hour ago. Not long your eyelids started to fall shut. You let them close for a second, before waking yourself up. Flashing your eyes back open to focus on the tv. You hid a yawn by moving your blanket in front of your mouth. Lorraine laughed at something on the tv.
Overcome with exhaustion, you were debating to give in to it or not. It was just 8pm. Barely any time to go to sleep, unless you were a child. For a brief moment, you were wide awake. Only for the exhaustion to kick in double. This time you yawned loud, body shivering. – “That boring?” – Ed joked pointing with the remote to the tv. You shook your head. – “Just a bit tired.” – you responded.
“Do you need some Camille tea?” – Lorraine suggested. You politely shook your head. – “No thank you mom. I think I’m just going to head upstairs. Occupy myself a bit to get this out of my body.” – you went on, pulling the blanket from you. – “Okay.” – Lorraine spoke watching you get up. You went over to them, bending over to give them a kiss on their cheek.
“Night mom.” – you said receiving a kiss on your forehead in return. – “Night dad.” – you then spoke, leaving a kiss on his cheek. Ed drew a cross on your forehead for protection. Something he had done since you were born. It was a habit now. – “Night darling.” – he answered.
You left the room, heading upstairs. Hearing the last of your father chuckle at something on tv. Getting up the stairs, you started to notice just how exhausted your limbs were. Feet barely wanting to move. Your knees buckled as you needed to clamp onto the railing to stay upright. Panting loud, you had no idea what your body was experiencing.
With a lot of effort you, made your way up. Everything felt sore. Groaning soft, you barely had the strength to brush your teeth, but you did anyways. Entering your room, you wondered what to do to occupy yourself. To get yourself to wake up again. Nothing came to mind or seemed to tiring to put the energy into it.
With a soft groan, you let yourself fall onto your bed, face forwards. Your mind told you to get back up, but your body wouldn’t budge. Instead they kept laying stubbornly still. Exhaling loud, your eyes closed as your world turned blank.
Lorraine and Ed silently went up the stairs. – “I’ll just check up on our girl.” – Lorraine said standing in the corridor upstairs. Ed nodded heading for the bathroom. Lorraine knocked gentle on your door. – “Y/n, your dad and I are going to bed. You should too…” – she said upon entering.
She frowned seeing you lay down on your bed, the lights still on. Lorraine approached the bed. – “You must’ve been really tired.” – she whispered, lifting your legs up to move them under the blanket. She then pushed your body a bit, to get you to lay in a more comfortable way. She tugged you in, leaving one last kiss on your head.
Flashing the lights out, she left your room. She joined Ed in the bathroom. – “Already fast asleep.” – she told him. He hummed soft with his toothbrush in his mouth. They went to their bedroom. The Warren’s house falling silent.
Around 3 pm you woke up. Your sleep interrupted by own doing. Your mind simply let you know to open your eyes. Groaning soft, you sat up, rubbing your eye. Then the soreness came. A pain moving through your limbs. They shuddered as you shivered. Despite it being blazing hot under the covers, were you cold.
You had to lay down again, not sure what was happening. Touching your forehead, you felt that it was warm. Rather hot. Wrapping the covers around you, you tried to close your eyes once more. It was no use as the bothering in your body was ever present. Tiredness expressed in your limbs as everything felt too exhausting.
Even your limbs resting felt tiring. Touching your forehead again, you knew you were coming down with a fever. Exhaling deep, you rolled over. Eyes wide open as you couldn’t catch any sleep. Staring at your wall, you watched the hours tick by till morning hit.
You heard your parent’s bedroom door open. They were awake. You barely had it in you to get up. Stomach hurting now as well. Since you’ve been awake for several hours  now, your stomach interpreted it into I need food. There was no denying it now. You were sick. Groaning loud, you rolled over to the other side. You knew your parents had an important interview. One they couldn’t miss.
You didn’t want to be the reason for them missing the interview. There was only one option left. You needed to lie. There was a knock on the door. – “Honey time to wake up.” – it was your dad, speaking through the door. – “Okay.” – you answered. You waited for his footsteps to die out before leaving your room. Rushing into the bathroom. You almost freaked out at the state of you.
The lack of sleep wasn’t glorifying with the illness. You looked even worse. Splashing some water in your face, you hoped to wake up more. When it appeared presentable enough, you got dressed and went downstairs. Your muscles aching with sore and tiredness. Every step, every movement felt like taking up too much energy.
“Morning Y/n darling.” – Lorraine said baking some eggs. – “Morning my girl.” – Ed spoke whilst setting the table. Normally you’d help him out, but today it felt too exhausting. You sat down, trying to look alive as possible. Lorraine quirked her eyebrow up, eyeing her husband at your unusual behaviour. Ed shrugged it off, thinking it probably just wasn’t your day. – “So honey, you know mom and I have that interview today right.” – Ed began.
You forced a smile, knowing it damn too well. – “You’ll have to eat lunch alone. Don’t worry we’ll be back around 5.” – he explained coming to sit down as well. Lorraine hummed loud to agree. – “Okay…” – you responded softly. – “It is only for a couple of hours.” – Lorraine said, setting the pan down. She moved over to you, kissing your head before you could keep her at bay.
Her eyes widened slightly, moving your head back, pressing her hand against your forehead to feel. – “Mom.” – you groaned out, pushing her hand away. – “Y/n feels hot.” – she expressed wanting to feel again. You slapped her hand away. – “I’m fine. Just go do your interview.” – you answered a bit bitsy.
“Y/n?” – Ed said confused to from where your sudden behaviour came. – “What’s wrong?” – he asked. – “Nothing.” – you replied. Lorraine surprise attacked you, pressing her hand against your forehead again. – “You’re burning up. Are you coming down with a fever?” – she called out worried. – “That’s it, we’ll post-pone the interview.” – Ed declared. – “No!” – you blurted out. – “Y/n…” – Lorraine looked worriedly at you. – “It’s just an interview.” – she explained.
“A really important one. Me being sick isn’t a reason for you to stay home.” – you ratted yourself out with your own stupidness. Sighed soft, there was no lying about it anymore. – “Were you feeling like this since last night?” – Lorraine wanted to know. You nodded as she tilted her head to the side. – “Y/n darling why didn’t you say anything.” – she asked. – “Because you had that interview.” – you explained. Ed got up, going round the table. – “Nothing is more important than our girl.” – he wrapped his arms around you.
Lorraine joined, giving you a good squeeze. – “Ed, post-pone the interview.” – Lorraine ordered. Ed nodded, already heading over to the phone. She took your hand, pulling you up. – “We are going to take care of our daughter.” – she said. She helped you back upstairs, tugging you back in. Ed came running up the stairs with some medicine.
Lorraine accepted it, assisting you to some medicine. – “You’ll feel better and be able to get some sleep.” – she said. Ed laid his hand on her shoulder. – “We’ll be right here.” – he spoke. You smiled at your parents before laying your head down and trying to catch in on that sleep.

Lorraine had her arms wrapped around your waist holding you close to her as she kissed a line up your neck, your hands were resting on her thighs as you leant backwards into Ed’s chest. His hands were slowly massaging your breasts through your shirt, as his lips sucked and nipped on the other side of your neck. Your head was tilted back eyes closed as you whimpered from the attention the Warrens were giving you.
“Lorraine, Ed,” you moaned squeezing Lorraine’s thighs before stroking them, up towards her covered pussy. You grinned at the whimper that you pulled from her when you pressed against the wet fabric of her pants and stroked upwards, circling your fingers before pressing against her clit.
“Ed, I think our girl is getting eager,” Lorraine murmured into your neck. Her arms slid around to press against your shoulders, pressing you harder against Ed until he lifted you up enough for him to wiggle under you before sitting you back down onto his lap. You whole body heated up at the display of strength. You wiggled a little, feeling Ed’s harden cock under you, you wiggled again grounding down as much as you could, your grin turning into a smirk as he groaned in your ear thrusting his hips up as he pulled you down tighter.
“I think your right, love,” Ed agreed, he moved back against the arm of the couch, pulling you with him and spreading your legs with his, pulling your skirt further up your legs and giving Lorraine a perfect view of your panties, the front of which was soaked through with your arousal.
The new position Ed had you in allowed Lorraine to crawl in-between your legs, her hands stroking up your thighs squeezing them as she stroked back down your legs and then up again and under your skirt. The humming that your body had started doing around these two had reached a new height from the moment their hands had touched you. Your body was tingling with electricity from the kisses, your nipples had hardened and become sensitive from the attention Ed had given them. While Lorraine was giving attention to your legs, and teasing you by bringing her fingers to the edge of your panties and only ghosting them against your pussy before taking them away, Ed had gone back to kissing your neck while his hands slipped under your shirt. His fingers started to tease you along the edge of your bra, slipping under it enough to brush against the bottom of your breast. Your moans started to get a whiny edge to them as your body was teased expertly by them.
“Please,” you begged, wanting so much more and everything from them.
“What do you want, pretty?” Lorraine asked, as her lips started to kiss along your thighs not going any further then the end of your skirt, her lips pulled into a satisfied smile as she saw what her ministrations were doing to you. Your lips were getting redder from your teeth biting at them as you ground down into Eds lap, trying to get some attention to your throbbing pussy and pushing your chest outwards trying to get Ed’s hands on them without anything acting as a barrier.
“I want everything,” you whined. “Please stop teasing.”
“Aw,” Ed smirked into your neck, his eyes locking with Lorraine’s as she sucked a mark on your inner thigh just above your knee. “Doesn’t she just beg so prettily? How could we possibly think to deny our beautiful girl?”
“I don’t think we can,” Lorraine agreed. “Is that what you want?”
“My hands on your breasts, teasing your pretty little nipples?” Ed whispered into your ears, his hands circling around your nipples still over your bra. “And my wife’s mouth on your wet, throbbing pussy?”
“Fuck,” you whimpered, nodding your head. “Yes please, I want that.”
“Then our girl shall have that, even if she has a naughty mouth,” Ed chuckled.
He removed his hands from under your shirt only long enough to remove it from your body after getting your approval. His hands trailed up from the band of your skirt to cup your breasts over your bra weighing them in his palms before he softly squeezed them. You pushed your chest into his hands, letting your head fall back against his shoulder, your nose nudging against his neck. He reached for the front clasp your body thrumming in anticipation as he remove your bra, lifting your back from his chest only enough to slid the bra down your arms and throwing it to the side. He allowed you to rest against his chest again, as his hands finally covered your breasts with no barrier. He rolled your nipples around pulling them taut before letting them go, and repeating the action when you whimpered in his ear, your hips rolling down into his lap before you pushed your pussy towards Lorraine’s questing fingers.
Lorraine grabbed the hem of your skirt and pulled it down, with Ed’s help they lifted your hips enough to drag it down and off your legs leaving you in your panties that were soaked through from your arousal. Lorraine pressed kisses all along your thighs, nipping at the skin but still ignoring your pussy, as she worshipped your thighs, gently squeezing the flesh until she hooked her fingers under the band of your panties. She locked eyes with you as she dragged them down, revealing your wet pussy, you could feel Ed groaning, his chest rumbling with the sound against your back as he peeked over, his hands sliding down from your breasts to quickly swipe through your arousal, barely touching you. Your eyes tracked his fingers as he brought them to Lorraine’s lips rubbing against them before pushing them inside her mouth, Lorraine’s eyes fluttered closed as she sucked your arousal off his fingers, moaning at the taste.
“How does she taste?” Ed asked his voice gravelly. The sound making your pussy throb and a whimper fall from your lips.
“Delicious,” Lorraine hummed. “You’ll have to have a taste after me, before you fill her up with your cock, while she eats me.”
“Oh, fuck,” your hips twitched at the image that sentence created in your mind. “I want that so much.”
“Good girl,” Lorraine smiled. “Now continue to be a good girl and keep these lush thighs apart for me.”
Your legs were already spread wide from where they were hooked over Ed’s thighs but he found a way to push them open even more, his hands trailing back up to your breasts as he continued to tease them. His lips back at your throat and shoulder, where there was plenty of room from how you had your head resting against his shoulder. You were squeezing your eyes shut, the attention from two people was almost overstimulating but you didn’t want it to stop.
You felt Lorraine’s breathe against your pussy as her fingers finally stroked through your arousal swiping it from around your pussy and using it as lube as she started to tease your clit. Flicking it before circling it, alternating from almost no pressure to almost too much, sending a bolt of pleasure right to your core. Ed was watching the actions of his wife, and almost copying the motion of her fingers against your nipples before fully cupping your breasts, squeezing and pulling on them.
“Do you like that?” Ed whispered into your ear as your body shuddered. Lorraine had just pressed a kiss to your pussy, before she flicked out her tongue and teased your opening with it, not quite pushing in yet.
“Yes,” you whined, voice raising as Lorraine pushed her tongue inside, swirling it around and stroking your walls before she locked her lips around your opening and sucked, thrusting her tongue in and out as her fingers continued to tease your swollen clit, now tugging on it lightly in between the circles her fingers were making. You felt Lorraine moan against you, the wet noises that she was making as she sucked and licked at your opening had your stomach muscles clenching as the heat built up in your core, drawing more and more arousal from you. Your walls fluttering, your hips rocking up against her mouth and fingers.
“You like having my wife’s mouth you, while I tease these heavy breasts of yours?” he asked going back to tweaking your nipples, smirking as you moaned. “Feeling her tongue licking you, her fingers playing with the gorgeous clit of yours.”
“Never would have taken you to be such a dirty talker,” you teased, voice very breathy. These two had you acting in ways you never had before. They had you feeling needy and wanton, beautiful and sexy. You normally always teased your partners in bed but you found it hard to do so with these two, as they worked your body to the point of only being able to moan and whine.
“Oh sweetheart, you have no idea what Lorraine and I are capable of,” Ed promised you. “But don’t worry, we’ll show you.”
Lorraine removed her mouth from your pussy, licking your arousal from around her lips, her eyes burning with lust as she looked up at you and her husband. She slowly dragged her fingers away from your clit preening a little as you whined in complaint hips twitching to try and get her fingers back on your clit, but Ed’s hands moved from your breasts to hold down your hips, as he slowly thrusted up into you. You could feel the press of his cock against you through his pants. There was something about the fact that you were completely naked and the Warrens were full dressed, not a single button undone that made the whole situation even hotter, your body was burning brightly at this point.
You gasped as Lorraine’s fingers circled your opening as she lowered her head back down, this time her tongue focused on your clit. She flatted her tongue as she licked up and down, occasionally swirling her tongue and flicking it with the tip of her tongue before she took your clit into her mouth and sucked on it, careful to keep her teeth away from it until she knew if that was something you liked. While her tongue was working on your clit, she slowly slid one of her fingers inside of you, your walls squeezing against her finger as she thrusted it and out, twisting it and stroking your walls.
“That’s it, good girl,” Ed kept whispering encouragement and praise in your ear, as his hands squeezed your hips, his long fingers stroking along the top of your crotch. “You look so beautiful between us, your body withering in pleasure. I can’t wait to have you between us in a different way, with my cock pounding into you as you fuck my wife’s pussy with your tongue.”
Your next moan became drawn out as Lorraine slid two fingers inside on the next thrust. You were aroused enough that there was only a little stretch as she continued to thrust her fingers in and out, scissoring them to stretch you some more before she starting stroking your walls. She twisted her fingers and stroked back along the top of your walls, searching for that one spot. She smirked against your clit when your hips bucked up against her, and not even Ed could stop you.
“Lorraine!” you shouted, eyes squeezing shut as you nuzzled into Ed’s neck.
“Love, I think our beautiful, beautiful girl is close,” Ed told Lorraine, one of his hands leaving your hips to stroke through her hair gently as she continued to suck on your clit and put pressure on your g-spot.
Your legs were twitching, it was only Ed’s legs keeping them as open as they were, and your body was rolling with pleasure as your pussy continued to throb and your walls clench around Lorraine’s fingers. Your body was heating even more as you felt the ball of pleasure behind your core start to over fill, Ed moved his hands back up to play with your nipples as he started to suck on your neck. All it took was Lorraine stroking your g-spot, sucking on your clit and Ed twisting your nipples for your orgasm to hit you. Your pussy spasmed as your hips twitched and ground your pussy against Lorraine’s mouth as she continued to suck your clit through your orgasm before she moved her mouth to cover your opening and lapped up the wetness that was released during your orgasm. Ed continued to tease and pinch your nipples as your body twitched, your mouth stayed open as you whimpered through the attention, he had also continued to grind you down into his cock as he thrust up into you. Your breathe heaving as you started to come down from your high, you felt a body cover yours as Lorraine crawled over you to kiss her husband and share some of your cum with him. You moaned at the sight above you, your pussy throbbing once as you started to get aroused again.
“Hmm, wasn’t she such a good girl for us?” Lorraine whispered into Ed’s mouth. “She made the most gorgeous of sounds, as she came for us.”
“She was gorgeous,” Ed agreed sucking his wife tongue into his mouth seeking more of your taste. You reached up with your hands, the last remnants of your orgasmic high leaving you so you were able to start undoing the buttons of Lorraine’s shirt, dragging her attention from her husband to you.
“I need you both naked,” you stated getting to the last of her buttons, revealing her breasts clad in a simple bra to your eyes. “Now.” You stretched up to start nipping at the skin at the top of her breasts, licking along the edge of the top of her cup. Lorraine hummed at your action.
“Very eager you are,” Lorraine lowered her self-down her lips hovering above yours. “What you do say?”
You raised an eyebrow, not entirely sure if a “please” is exactly what she is after. You thought about it, and although your light flying feeling was there it didn’t grow, but you thought about adding two words to the “please” and your light flying feeling soared. Your cheeks flushed a little, and you lowered your gaze away from hers, the darken blue in them looking at you in a very knowing way.
“Come on, pretty girl,” Lorraine encouraged you. Ed was watching the interaction with interest, he had a feeling what Lorraine was pushing for but that was only from knowing his wife for 15 years. You flicked your gaze back to her, allowing her to see the hesitation there but she pressed a kiss to your nose in encouragement.
“Please, won’t you and…daddy get naked, mummy?” you asked flushing all the to your ears. Lorraine felt her pussy throb at the words, her body flushing as she claimed your lips with hers. She couldn’t stop herself from grinding down into your pussy, rubbing against your clit and pushing you into Ed’s hard cock, forcing a groan from his lips, both from your words and the pressure from you being pushed into him.
“Fuck, Lorraine,” Ed hissed. His head coming up to grab a handful of her hair as she continued to devour your mouth, the gentle kiss from before gone and replaced with a more dominant side of Lorraine. “How did you even know?”
“Our girl would clench down on my fingers and would get wetter every time you called her ‘our girl’,” Lorraine shrugged as she moved back from you. “So, she has a praise kink but I guessed there would be a little something more.”
You wiggled in between them, needing more contact, needing something more, you whined in need. Ed grinned, his fingers moving down to stroke up and down your sides which caused you to sigh in happiness.
“I think we should move to the bedroom,” Lorraine said standing up and letting her shirt fall off her shoulder before she started taking her pants off the front completely ruined from the arousal dripping from her pussy and from when she ground against you, your arousal coating the front of them. Eating you out had turned her on in a way she hadn’t been for a while, pleasuring you to orgasm had nearly been enough for her.
“Hm,” you agreed trying to get up but before you could Ed had swept you up into his arms. “Christ, this shouldn’t be as attractive as it is.”
“You like me carrying you?” Ed asked grinning at Lorraine, who was watching the two of you as she led the way to the bedroom.
You merely nodded locking your arms around his neck, kissing his cheek before you nuzzled into his neck. You nipped on his skin, kissing along his neck up to his ear and along his jawline. You kicked your legs when he squeezed your side and your thigh.  You grinned when he came up to the door to their bedroom to see Lorraine already stretched out on the bed.
“It’s for my husband to devour you, baby girl.”

A few hours full of lazy kisses and warm cuddles later, Patrick went out to collect more firewood as Éléanor’s phone buzzed on the table. Glancing at the screen, she saw Virginie’s name pop up and smiled. She knew what was coming. With a deep breath, she stepped outside into the crisp morning air to take the call.
“Did you fuck him?” Virginie's voice burst through the line before she could even say hello.
Heat rushed to Éléanor’s cheeks, and she immediately glanced around to ensure Patrick was still out of sight, gathering firewood near the forest’s edge.
“Virginie!” she hissed, lowering her voice. “Can you keep it down?”
“That’s a yes!” Virginie practically squealed with delight, her excitement palpable even through the phone. “Oh, ma chérie, I knew it was only a matter of time. Is he any good? Wait, no—how good is he?”
Éléanor sighed, leaning against the porch railing, her breath forming clouds in the cold air. “I am not having this conversation with you.”
“Not having this conversation with me?” Virginie gasped dramatically as if scandalised, “Oh no, no, you are definitely having this conversation with me!”
There was a rustling sound through the phone, and suddenly the call switched to video, Virginie’s face appearing on the screen, her wide grin taking up most of the frame, “Turn the camera around. Let me see the aftermath.”
Éléanor sighed, rolling her eyes as she turned on the front camera, attempting to conceal the blush on her cheeks.
Virginie’s eyes sparkled with a mischievous glint as she leaned closer to the screen, inspecting Éléanor’s face with hawk-like attention. “Oh wow, he did a number on you…”  Her voice was laced with amusement, and she didn’t bother to hide the laughter threatening to spill over.
“What?” Éléanor muttered, uncomfortable under her friend’s scrutiny. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
Tilting her head, Virginie’s eyes narrowed as she scanned the faint marks on Éléanor’s neck and collarbone.  “ Oh my God, are those love bites? Enrique! Come see this,” Virginie called out, practically buzzing with excitement. “She’s covered in them.”
Éléanor’s eyes widened as she caught sight of the man lounging next to Virginie, leaning over just enough to glance at the screen with an easy, half-amused look while taking a sip of his coffee. “Are you seriously calling me with your... boytoy right there?”
Virginie burst into laughter, dismissing Éléanor’s concern with a carefree wave. “Oh, please. Enrique doesn’t mind, do you, darling?”
He shrugged, smirking slightly. “Seen worse.” His tone was light, with just the faintest edge of teasing.
Éléanor groaned, her fingers dragging down her face as she shook her head. “Why do I let you do this to me?”
Virginie cackled, clearly relishing every second of Éléanor’s discomfort. “Because you love me, and you secretly enjoy it.”
Éléanor looked up from her hand, catching her reflection on the screen—marks and all. A sigh escaped her, mingled with laughter she couldn’t quite hold back. “Remind me why we’re friends again?”
“Because I keep your life interesting,” Virginie replied, winking. “And apparently, so does Patrick .”
Éléanor’s cheeks deepened in colour at the teasing. Virginie leaned in, her eyes glinting with mischief. “You owe me some details! How big was his dick?”
“Virginie!” Éléanor’s voice dropped to a frantic whisper as she cast a quick look to the forest edge where Patrick was still chopping wood, muscles taut under his shirt. “He’s right there! I am not answering that.”
Virginie’s laughter rang out again, echoing through the call. “Oh, come on! Give me something. Was it good?”
Rolling her eyes, Éléanor couldn’t keep the grin from spreading across her face. “Yes, it was good. Happy now?”
Virginie clapped her hands, delight dancing in her eyes. “Very. But seriously, you haven’t even sent me a proper picture of him. What are you hiding? Is he that perfect?”
Éléanor glanced back towards the forest, knowing Patrick was out of sight, but still half expecting him to just appear behind her. “I’m not showing you because I’ll not be parading him in front of you like some trophy.”
“Oh, so he’s trophy-worthy ?” Virginie’s smirk widened, leaning closer to the screen with a gleam of triumph. “Don’t tell me you’ve got a crush already!”
Éléanor groaned, resorting to rubbing her forehead in exasperation again. “It’s not like that. We’re just... figuring things out.”
“Uh-huh, sure,” Virginie said with a sly grin. “So, what’s that you’re wearing? Don’t tell me you’re in one of his flannels.”
Éléanor looked down, feeling a twinge of embarrassment as she took in the flannel she was wrapped in. It was, in fact, Patrick’s—oversized and with the sleeves rolled up unevenly. “Shut up,” she said, the words half-laugh, half-groan.
Virginie’s laughter echoed through the phone, clearly enjoying every bit of Éléanor’s discomfort. “Come on, live a little! We’re on video now—you might as well show me the guy!”
“No way,” Éléanor said, shaking her head firmly. She didn’t want to invade Patrick’s privacy like that and she didn’t want to give her friend even more ammunition for teasing her. “I’m not sending you a photo or putting him on camera for you to inspect!”
“Fine, fine,” Virginie replied, raising her hands in mock surrender but still smirking. “But I want all the details later. You owe me, you dirty little thing.”
Éléanor, already feeling the heat creeping back into her cheeks, quickly cut her off. “Look, I’ve got to go. Patrick’s going to come back any minute, and the last thing I need is for him to overhear you grilling me about his... assets.”
Virginie pouted dramatically. “Okay...you’re off the hook. For now. But I expect a full report later. You cannot leave me hanging like this!”
“I’ll think about it,” Éléanor muttered, shaking her head, a mix of amusement and frustration washing over her. After a few more playful exchanges, she finally managed to say her goodbyes, much to Virginie’s disappointment.
With a groan, Éléanor pocketed her phone just as she saw Patrick returning with his arms loaded with firewood. She paused, watching him from the porch as he trudged through the snow. The early morning light cast a glow over him, illuminating the streaks of grey in his hair and the stubble darkening his jawline.
In the few days they’d been out here, the ruggedness that had always been a part of him seemed to have intensified, and the sight of him—so solid, so unpretentious—sent a wave of warmth through her.
It wasn’t just the way he looked that made her stomach flip; it was everything.
The way his jeans hung low on his hips, his sweater clinging to his broad shoulders, and those strong hands of his gripping the rough wood with ease. Each movement was fluid and confident, as if he belonged out here in the wilderness. She found herself staring longer than she should have, completely absorbed in him.
As Patrick got closer, he caught her gaze, a slight smile tugging at his lips—the kind that made her heart stutter in her chest. He set the firewood down with a thud and wiped his hands on his jeans, a casual gesture that somehow drew her attention. “Everything okay?” he asked, his tone warm and low.
Éléanor cleared her throat, trying to snap herself out of her daze. “Yeah,” she managed to say, nodding as she forced a smile. “Just Virginie being... well, Virginie.”
Her mind briefly flashed to the call she’d just had, and her cheeks flushed again at the memory of Virginie’s relentless teasing.
Patrick chuckled, stepping closer, the glint in his eyes shifting when he noticed the flannel shirt she wore—his shirt. A slight darkness passed over his gaze as he took it in. “That looks good on you,” he said, voice dropping an octave. “You should keep wearing my things.”
Éléanor’s heart skipped a beat, and she instinctively wrapped her arms around herself, feeling the soft fabric beneath her fingers. She tried to play it off, though the heat in her cheeks betrayed her. “It’s warm,” she murmured, a shy smile tugging at her lips. Then, feeling bold, she added, “And it smells like you.”
His grin widened, amusement mingling with something deeper in his eyes. He closed the distance, the heat of his presence cutting through the chill air. “Not a bad thing, I hope?” he teased, voice velvety.
She shook her head, eyes lifting to meet his. “No,” she whispered. “Not a bad thing at all.”
Turning towards the cabin to escape the intensity of the moment, her heart raced from the sheer magnetism Patrick exuded.
But as she moved to grab the door handle, Patrick stepped up behind her, his arms sliding around her waist. His broad chest pressed gently against her back, and his warmth enveloped her, filling the cool air with a closeness that made her pulse flutter all over again and caused her to shiver.
Patrick lowered his head, his lips brushing the shell of her ear as he spoke. “So…are you cold?” he murmured, his voice like a low rumble that vibrated through her body.
“A little,” she admitted, her voice unsteady as she felt his breath fan across her neck, sending a shiver down her spine. She could feel every inch of him—the hardness of his chest, the way his arms tightened protectively around her waist, the warmth that seemed to seep from his body into hers.
It was overwhelming in the best possible way, and she found herself leaning back into him, seeking more of that heat, that closeness.
Patrick chuckled softly, the sound vibrating through his chest and into her back. His hands rested gently on her stomach, his thumbs brushing the fabric of the flannel in slow, lazy circles. For a moment, neither of them moved, just standing there on the porch, wrapped in each other’s warmth as the cold winter air swirled around them.
Éléanor caught their reflection in the cabin’s window—his rugged, stubbled face resting near hers, his blue eyes softened, his lips curved into a small, contented smile that hovered close to her ear. It felt almost surreal, seeing themselves like this, as though they’d slipped into a moment where nothing else existed.
She wasn’t sure how long they stood like that, but time seemed to stretch out, the world narrowing down to just the two of them. Patrick’s hold on her was firm but tender as if he was anchoring her to the moment. The snow fell gently around them, the air crisp but quiet, and for a brief second, Éléanor felt like nothing else existed outside of this—outside of him.
Eventually, Patrick broke the silence, his voice soft and teasing. “Let’s get inside and warm up,” he said, but his arms remained around her, making no move to let go just yet.
Éléanor smiled, feeling her cheeks flush again, though this time it wasn’t from the cold. “Yeah,” she breathed, her voice barely above a whisper. “We should.”
Patrick lingered for another heartbeat, his lips brushing lightly against her temple before he finally loosened his grip and took a small step back. His hands slid down her waist as he moved, and Éléanor felt an odd sense of loss as the warmth of his body left hers.
Together, they stepped into the warmth of the cabin. The familiar scent of wood and smoke greeted her, the fire crackling softly in the furnace. She didn’t need to glance back to know that Patrick was right behind her, his presence steady and comforting.
_____
Later that day, Éléanor led Patrick through the dense, snow-laden woods, their hands intertwined as they navigated the winding trails that she knew by heart. The world around them had fallen into a serene, snow-covered silence, the storm having paused to leave the forest blanketed in a pristine, untouched layer of white.
Each tree branch sagged gently under the weight of the snow, creating a delicate, wintry canopy above them. The air was crisp, cold but clean, and the only sound that broke the stillness was the soft crunch of their boots pressing into the snow. It was a world completely at peace, the kind of solitude Éléanor had always cherished.
“This spot here,” Éléanor said, her voice hushed but excited as she pointed ahead, “this is where I come to sketch sometimes.” Her smile widened as she led him toward a clearing nestled at the edge of the forest, where a large, weathered boulder sat like a silent sentinel overlooking the space. “There’s something about the way the light hits this spot in the afternoon,” she continued, turning to glance up at him. “It’s perfect.”
Patrick followed her gaze, letting his eyes roam over the open expanse. The pale winter sunlight filtered through the skeletal branches of the trees, casting a soft, ethereal glow over the snow, which sparkled like crushed diamonds.
It was the kind of scene that made time feel like it had stopped entirely—just him, her, and the quiet beauty of the woods. His hand tightened slightly around hers, a gentle, wordless affirmation of the moment, and Éléanor’s heart fluttered at the simple intimacy of the gesture. He was seeing it— really seeing it —the way she had always wanted to share this place with someone.
“It’s stunning,” Patrick murmured, his voice quieter than usual, as though he didn’t want to disturb the stillness that hung in the air. “You weren’t kidding when you said you find inspiration here.”
Éléanor smiled softly, her heart warming at his words. She felt understood in a way she hadn’t expected, and it made her love for the place swell even more. Slipping her hand from his, she reached into the worn leather bag slung over her shoulder, pulling out a well-loved sketchbook.
“I’ve been coming here for years,” she said, flipping through the pages and revealing a collection of pencil sketches and watercolours—quick studies of the forest, the clearing, the changing seasons. “This place… it feels like mine. Like it’s a part of me.”
Patrick’s eyes scanned the sketches, lingering on each one with an appreciation that made Éléanor’s chest tighten. His gaze settled on a watercolour of the clearing on a bright winter’s day, vibrant with white grass and animal tracks in the snow, the sky a brilliant blue overhead. “You’re really talented, Éléanor,” he said, his voice full of quiet sincerity. “These are beautiful.”
Éléanor felt a shy smile tug at her lips, her cheeks warming despite the cold air. She quickly closed the sketchbook, tucking it back into her bag with a bashful shrug. “Thanks. It’s just something I do to relax,” she said, her voice quieter now, not quite able to meet his eyes.
But Patrick’s gaze never left her, and when she finally glanced up, his expression was soft, his blue eyes warm and full of something deeper—something unspoken but unmistakable.
He leaned casually against the boulder, crossing his arms as he looked back out over the clearing, taking it all in once more. “I get why you love it here,” he said after a moment, his voice thoughtful. “There’s something about the quiet... it’s grounding. It feels real. So different from the noise of the city.”
As they continued their walk, Éléanor led Patrick along the paths, pointing out little hidden gems along the way.
Her voice would brighten with excitement whenever she introduced him to one of her secret spots—the quiet glade where the trees parted just enough to reveal breathtaking views of the distant mountains or the frozen-over stream, its surface glistening under the pale light of the winter sun.
“There’s something magical about this place when everything’s frozen,” she mused, her breath hanging in the air like a soft cloud. She gestured toward a patch of trees where icicles clung to the branches like delicate glass ornaments. “It’s so quiet, like the whole world is asleep.”
Patrick watched her as she spoke, admiring the way her face lit up as she talked about the land, her connection to it so deep and personal. It was as if she was sharing a part of herself with him, unveiling pieces of her soul in the landscape. He loved how her passion for this place seemed to radiate from her, making even the coldest winter day feel warm.
“Up ahead,” Éléanor said, a touch of excitement creeping into her voice, “there’s this old cabin that’s been abandoned for years. I always think about fixing it up someday. It’s small, but it’s got this charm to it, you know?”
Patrick couldn’t help but smile as she spoke, her enthusiasm contagious. He could tell how much the cabin and this entire place meant to her—how deeply connected she was to the quiet solitude of the woods, the hidden corners that she had claimed as her own.
After a few more minutes of walking, they finally reached the cabin.
It was tucked away between two towering pines, as though nature itself had been trying to shield it from the rest of the world. The roof sagged slightly under the weight of the snow, and the windows were cracked, their frames weathered and beaten from years of neglect.
The wood siding had faded to a dull grey, worn by time and the elements. But despite the decay, there was something undeniably charming about the place—a quiet beauty in its isolation, a sense of hidden potential waiting to be uncovered.
Éléanor stepped forward, her boots crunching through the snow as she approached the cabin’s doorway. She peered inside, her expression softening as her gaze swept over the interior. It was empty and cold, but her eyes gleamed with imagination as though she could already see what it could become.
“Imagine it,” she said softly, her voice taking on a dreamy, almost wistful tone. “A cosy little place, maybe a studio for painting. A place to escape even further. A nice open kitchen with a big wooden table, the crackling of the fire in the living room…” She smiled as she spoke, the idea of transforming the cabin into something new and beautiful clearly bringing her joy.
Patrick moved to stand beside her, his breath forming small clouds in the cold air as he tried to see the vision she had painted with her words. He glanced around, letting his imagination stretch to match hers—the worn wood walls replaced, the windows repaired, a fire flickering warmly inside. It was easy to picture it, easy to see why this place captured her heart.
“You’ve got the vision,” Patrick said, his voice warm with admiration as he shared in her dream for a moment. “I can see it.” He chuckled softly, glancing over at her, the sincerity in his voice clear. She had a way of making him see the potential in things, of finding beauty in places most people wouldn’t even notice.
Éléanor looked up at him, her smile soft but full of warmth.
The look in her eyes was more than just appreciation—it was an invitation, a quiet hope that maybe he could be a part of this dream with her. “I’d love to do that one day,” she said, her voice quiet but filled with longing. “Maybe have someone help me with it.”
Patrick’s eyes flickered with something she couldn’t quite put into words, something she saw in the depths of his gaze. But instead of vocalising it out loud, he simply nodded, his voice low, almost hesitant as he replied. “Maybe.”
He stepped closer, wrapping his arm around her shoulders, his warmth immediately enveloping her. Together, they gazed out over the expanse around the house. His presence felt steady and grounding, and she leaned into him, feeling the calm rise and fall of his breath as he murmured, “It’s perfect. Just like you said.”
Éléanor felt a sense of peace settle over her, a contentment she hadn’t expected. With Patrick here, sharing this place with her, it all felt... right.
Eventually, they made their way back through the woods, the silence between them comfortable and full of unspoken understanding. Their fingers intertwined as they walked, a simple but intimate connection that felt as natural as breathing. Éléanor couldn’t help but smile to herself as she glanced at him from time to time, still half in disbelief that he was here, that this moment—this person—was real.
There was something about showing him these places—her places—that felt like opening a door to a deeper part of herself. And the way Patrick had embraced it, had embraced her, made her heart beat a bit faster.
When they reached the front porch of his cabin, Patrick paused, turning to face her. The snow had started falling again, delicate flakes drifting down from the grey sky, but they hardly noticed. His gaze was soft, his smile sincere, and Éléanor felt the warmth of it settle in her chest.
“Thank you for showing me all that,” Patrick said, his voice quiet but full of meaning.
Éléanor smiled back, her heart swelling with affection as she gave his hand a gentle squeeze. “Thank you for letting me,” she replied softly.

i know our mornings (were as good as it ever could be)
Tumblr media
synopsis: eddie thinks he's doing a pretty good job at hiding his relationship with the youngest dunne sister. until he isn't.
warnings: smut, dirty talk, usage of alcohol & drugs, billy dunne
a/n: thank you so much for the love on the previous eddie post! this is shit but it's eddie smut and that's all that matters
♡
It all happens so fast you think you’ve imagined it - one minute you’re snorting your (fourth, maybe fifth) line of coke and reaching for another glass of beer, and the next you’re being pulled by your hand until you can breathe in the fresh evening air through your slightly powdery nostrils. You’re still looking down at your feet, hands outstretched and trying to regain your balance, which is a surprisingly hard thing to do using a coked-up brain, when the mystery assailant, probably Billy, starts speaking. You sigh and brace yourself for yet another lecture.
“The fuck do you think you’re doing?”
Welp, that’s definitely not Billy. You don’t know if you should be happy about it or not.
You look up and meet Eddie’s eyes, his eyebrows so furrowed that the annoyed wrinkle between them is especially pronounced - you want to reach out and smooth it out with your fingers, you want to tell him that as hot as he looks when he’s pissed off, he shouldn’t be getting wrinkles this early on. You don’t do any of that.
“What does it look like I’m doing?” You respond instead, putting a hand on your hip with such force that you make yourself stumble a little bit. In the blink of an eye, Eddie is holding you by the waist, concerned, and you pray to every single entity out there to just make the goddamn sequin dress separating your bodies disappear into thin air, simply to feel his large hands against your skin. “I’m having fun.”
Eddie lets out an exasperated sigh and tilts your head upward, cleaning up the cocaine residue around your nose. A part of you finds it weirdly cute.
“Too much fun.” He tells you and you shake your head.
“I’ve seen you do, like, six lines one after another. You can’t just lecture me when you do the exact same thi-”
“That’s because I’m used to it, I can handle it.” Eddie interrupts, grabbing you by the chin gently. He’s looking at you right in the eyes, wanting to drive his point home, but all you can focus on is his lips. “You could barely handle a shot of whiskey before and now you’re drinking and doing lines like you’ve done it all your life.”
You roll your eyes, although you understand what he’s trying to say.
“Eds, just leave me alone. I’m not going to die or somethin’. I’m just having fun.” You defend yourself, but the hiccups in-between your words do absolutely nothing to convince the man in front of you.
In fact, something flashes in his eyes. It’s a look you see rarely, but one you recognize as the look he gets when he sets his mind to something. You don’t get to dwell too much on it, because he’s crouching and picking you up, and before you know it, you’re thrown over his shoulder with such ease it makes something at the bottom of your stomach flutter.
“Eddie, put me down, now! What are you doing!?” You protest and hit his back with your fists as hard as you can, waving your legs in the air. He doesn’t even flinch and instead places a hand on your calf and squeezes, a gesture you can only interpret as “calm the fuck down” - and something in you listens, despite the drugs and liquors in your system screaming at you to keep acting bratty.
You vaguely recognize Warren’s wolf-whistling at the pair of you, but you don’t pay him any attention - by the time he’s asked for your room key at the reception desk in that deep voice that drives you crazy and you’re in the luxurious elevator, you’re already half-asleep but still have enough leftover energy to complain.
"Can you put me down now? You’ve proved your point.”
In response, Eddie’s hand moves higher up your leg, slipping underneath your dress. You can feel yourself blushing as he starts drawing circles on your inner thigh.
“Hm, I really don’t think I have, sweetheart.” He tells you and you want to strangle him for knowing exactly what buttons to push to make you speechless.
The rest of the elevator ride is spent in torturous silence, as he absentmindedly drags his fingers across your skin and you stubbornly hold in your whimpers and gasps, because you’d rather die on the spot than have him know how sensitive his touch makes you.
Only he can make me feel like this, you think to yourself in a striking moment of clarity.
After what feels like an eternity, you finally arrive at your floor. Eddie confidently walks towards your room and opens it - as soon as the door closes, he strides over to the bed and gently drops you onto it. You’re looking at the ceiling, thinking about nothing and everything at the same time, as he removes your heels. When he stands up and kisses your forehead, ready to leave so you could get some sleep, you grab him by the collar.
Sleep is the last thing on your mind right now.
You kiss him hard, and he responds immediately - you feel his heart thumping when your chests press against each other, and you’re pretty sure he can feel yours too. He moans into your mouth when you tug on his hair and you feel like you’re on the brink of getting what you want - except, he pulls away from you. You look at him, confused, and when you reach out to try and bring his face towards you, he grabs your wrists in one hand.
“You’re drunk, sweetheart. We can’t.” He explains and you want to cry. Why did he have to be so thoughtful?
“But I want you.” You try and he just smiles at you, wide and toothy, as he stands up. You catch his hand. “Can you…can you at least sleep next to me? We don’t have to do anything, I just..."
He turns to look at you and you see surprise painted across his features. You open your mouth to take it back, tell him you don’t know what you’re talking about, play it off as the drugs talking, but he’s already dropping his jacket on the ground and getting into bed with you before you get the chance to say anything.
He opens his arms, inviting you to come closer and you gladly take the invitation.
"You're cold." You tell him when you lay your head on his chest and feel him wrapping his arms around you. He smells like cigarettes and citrus. It’s your favorite smell in the world.
“You’re hot.” He responds, grinning as he kisses the top of your head, and you giggle.
It’s the last thing you remember before you fall asleep.
You wake up horny. Not unusual by any means, considering you fell asleep horny and next to Eddie. Still, you know you can't ignore it for long.
As your eyes adjust to the sunlight pouring in through the windows, you feel Eddie, still asleep, wrapping a long arm around your waist and pulling you towards his chest. His gentle hums do nothing except fuel the growing need in you to have him. You decide to do just that.
Careful not to wake him, you slowly move down his body and when you reach the part you're craving the most, you greedily undo his belt like you're opening a Christmas present. You pull his jeans and boxers down at the same time, impatient, and immediately get to work.
You run your tongue from the tip to the base, savoring the shiver you receive in response. You do that a couple of times but as soon as you take him in your mouth, Eddie gasps and you know you've woken him up, because you feel a hand in your hair.
"Shit, baby, good mornin' to you too." He laughs and the rasp in his voice makes you throb.
You take him in deeper, tracing the vein in his shaft with your tongue and Eddie practically howls. Biting his lip, he buries his other hand in your hair too as the sounds of your gagging and his moaning overlap.
"I love this fucking mouth on my cock." He breathes out. "God, I can't get enough of you. Come 'ere."
You shake your head as you press open-mouthed kisses down the shaft.
"No, I want you to cum in my mouth." You declare stubbornly and he swears out loud at your words.
"I'll cum in that pretty little mouth as much as you want me to, but I need to be inside of you right now, baby, please." He almost begs and you look at him beneath your eyelashes.
He's panting heavily, his bottom lip slightly bloody because he bit it too hard, brown eyes glazed over and hair splayed out on the pillow beneath his head like a halo. He looks like a mess and it's the prettiest thing you've ever seen.
Well, how can you say no to that?
You crawl towards him and he grabs the dress you've slept in from yesterday and pushes it up your body, hastily trying to remove it. You help him and soon, the dress is a mere clothing item on the floor. Left in only your underwear, he licks his lips as his eyes look you over. If it was anyone else, you would have felt like a piece of meat being ogled at, but his look only turns you on even more.
You tug on his shirt, wanting it off, and he complies immediately.
As you climb into his lap and undo your bra, Eddie watches, mesmerized, when you start grinding on his cock like a woman starved, your tits bouncing along with every movement. In an attempt to tease him, you reach out to play with your nipples, but he smacks your hands away, shoves his face in your chest and starts worshiping your tits with such vigor you think you can cum from this alone.
"Eddie! Oh!" You mewl and he groans in response, tugging your underwear down your thighs. He rubs a finger against your folds and your head gently knocks against his when his finger glides right inside of you.
"So fuckin' warm and tight and all for me. Only for me." Eddie whispers, kissing your neck. You nod, burying your fingers in his tangled hair.
"Only for you. Always for you." You whisper in his ear and he exhales sharply, relieved, like he's being told something he never once thought would be true.
You don't even notice when one finger has become two, and two has become three in your haze of pleasure until Eddie pushes you down onto the bed, looking at you like you've hung the moon and stars. You smile at him and pull his face down to kiss him, and you can feel him chuckling against your lips. Wrapping your legs around his waist, you melt in his embrace. In response, Eddie grabs your hips, something you've noticed he really likes doing, and carefully enters you. You open your mouth in a silent scream, and he groans loudly, squeezing you so hard you're sure he'll give you yet another pair of bruises. You don't mind though, not at all.
"You okay, sweetheart?"
"Very much am, Roundtree."
---
"What did you just say?"
Warren laughs nervously, scratching the back of his neck.
"Look man, I don't fuckin' know, all I'm saying is that I saw them leaving together."
It's quiet in the breakfast hall as Billy ponders on what to do.
"I get that she's our little sister, but she's grown up now. Even if she is, y'know, sleeping with him, why should that matter? I mean, it's Eddie, do you really think he'd do anything to hurt her?" Graham argues, gesturing with the utensils in his hands as he speaks.
Daisy and Karen nod in agreement.
"He's got a point, you know. I really don't think it's that big of a deal. They've had the hots for each other for a while now, too, it's only natural." Karen adds and Billy's mouth turns into a tight line as he death glares the uneaten toast on his plate.
"Good morning everyone!" Eddie greets his band members when you and him enter, suspiciously cheerful. Billy's glare only becomes more hateful.
"Morning." He greets with gritted teeth, carefully observing the way Eddie gallantly pulls out your chair first, before sitting on his own. Everyone else around him also seems to notice, if Daisy and Karen's quiet giggles and Warren and Graham clearing their throats were any indication.
"Aren't you going to get breakfast?" Graham questions and you smile innocently back at him.
"Nope, I've already eaten." You respond and Eddie adds a "I'm very full, actually."
Awkward silence descends on the table for a moment before Roy arrives as well.
"Hey, Roundtree." He starts, an accusatory finger pointed at the bassist's neck. "What kind of vampire were you fooling around with? Jesus Christ, son, look at the size of that thing."
A beat passes as Graham chokes on his water.
"Roundtree, you fucking son of a bitch, I'll kill you."
---
BILLY DUNNE: The prick was fucking my sister behind my back. Of course I decked him.
KAREN SIRKO: And people call women the emotional ones.
WARREN ROJAS: Dude, I thought I was hallucinating, for real.
DAISY JONES: So overdramatic.
GRAHAM DUNNE: [sighs]
EDDIE ROUNDTREE: Worth it. [smiles]

masterlist of introductory materials for the hebrew bible and new testament
below are resources intended for beginners. these would be assigned to upper level undergraduate theology courses or first year theological master degree courses. they represent academic/ "the Academy's" mode of introducing material. bold are titles most frequently used in syllabi.
these are just general introductions, done well but limited by scope. they attend to the testaments as a whole, not their individual books. i recommend, after getting introduced, that your self-study explore particular books, and then, particular hermeneutics: womanist theology, feminist, mujerista, postcolonial, queer, liberation, etc.
as always i recommend reading the texts themselves: an nrsvu(e) translation is expected in academic theology, and this one is a great annotated version.
sefaria is also useful—a jps translation that allows you to see alternative translations for each word

To Love | Another Love Part Three | Eddie Roundtree x Reader
A/N: As of right now, this is the final part of this series unless I get requests asking for another installment. Thank you for all the support 💕
Warnings: Kissing, saying goodbye
Part One | Part Two | Part Three
Daisy Jones and The Six Masterlist
Tumblr media
You didn't see Eddie for nearly another year. It was hard, especially once you figured out what that feeling in your heart was. What had started off as a friendship had quickly become something more. The longer you were away from him, the more you realized your feelings for him.
While you may not have seen each other, the two of you did talk on the phone as much as possible. He told you about what was happening in LA, and you filled him in on life in Pittsburgh.
There were nights you fell asleep listening to the sound of his voice. You plugged your phone in by the bed so the cord wouldn't have to stretch so far just so you could talk to him longer.
Even when the two of you didn't have anything to talk about, you found something. Whether that was construction on The Strip or new animals in the zoo.
Hours would pass before one of you would have to hang up to get some sleep, even if you hated saying goodnight.
There weren't any labels on your relationship. You weren't even sure if Eddie saw it as anything more than a friendship. But you needed to see him. To feel yourself nestled into his chest again.
As soon as he told you they were coming to Pittsburgh, you told him not to bother with getting a hotel, that he could stay with you. It was closer to the concert venue, anyway.
He agreed and then had to be pulled off the phone for rehearsals. You bid him goodbye, falling onto your bed with a smile on your face. As giddy as a teenage girl, you imagined how it would be to see him again.
---------------
Warren dropped Eddie off at your apartment on his way to fill up the van's gas. Everyone else was already at the hotel, unaware of Eddie's plans to stay with you over them.
As soon as the buzzer rang, you raced downstairs to help him with his bags.
He had to drop his luggage as you ran fullforce to him, draping your arms over his shoulders.
"You didn't miss me at all, did you?" He teased, setting you back down on the pavement, grabbing his suitcase.
You took his other two bags, slinging one over your shoulder and holding the other in one of your hands, "No, not in the slightest."
"I can carry them, I don't mind."
Turning on your heel, you tilted your head, "You don't feel comfortable letting a woman carry your bags? Guess you're not as perfect as I thought."
Flustered, he shook his head, "No, no—that's not—I just—"
You broke out into a fit of laughter, "I'm messing aith you, Ed, don't worry."
He nodded, relief washing over him before another thought popped into his head, "You think I'm perfect?"
"Don't let it go to your head."
-------
Luckily for Eddie, you had a spare bedroom with a bedframe and mattress already set up. You had put on the sheets that morning, making sure everything was perfect for him before he arrived.
That night, with a record playing in the background, you poured both yourself and Eddie a glass of wine. Bringing it over to him on the couch,
That night, the two of you settled down on your couch, a record playing in the background as you poured yourselves a glass of wine.
Clinking glasses, you both took a small sip before you set the glass down on the sidetable.
"Can I ask you a question?"
He nodded, turning his body towards you, "Go for it."
"Everyone in the band—even Warren—has seen or is seeing somebody," You said, eyes wandering the room, "Why not you?"
Eddie looked down at his glass, swirling the wine around as he thought about how to respond.
"I'm sorry if I'm prying," You said, taking a large sip of wine, "You don't have to answer if you don't have to."
"Y/N, I—"
The buzzer rang again, cutting him off.
Groaning, you set your glass back down and went to the buzzer box, "Hello?
The other line was quiet for a moment, "Y/N?"
"Who is this?" You asked, the other end distorted.
"It's Graham."
You paused, "What do you need?"
"Look... Can we talk? Please?"
Looking back at Eddie, you hesitated, "I don't know."
"Just give me five minutes, please."
"Okay."
You buzzed him in, turning to Eddie.
"Who was that?" He asked.
Pursing your lips, you met his eyes, "Graham."
"Oh," Eddie frowned, "Should I—Should I give you two a minute or...?"
"No, you can stay there. It shouldn't take long."
There was a knock on the door a few minutes later. Taking a deep breath, you opened it, revealing a disheveled Graham on the other side.
"Your five minutes starts now, Dunne," You sighed, crossing your arms and leaning against the doorframe.
Nodding, he began, "I made a mistake, Y/N/N. I made a mistake when I walked away from you—from us. I want to give us a try. Please."
You were silent for a moment, not wanting it to hurt him too bad that you already had an answer in your head, "No."
"Please, Y/N. I want you. I'm choosing you."
"I don't want there to have to be a choice between me and someone else. I need someone who is with me without hesitation," You explained, "Graham, I've moved on."
He looked you up and down, in your nicest sundress, "Am I interrupting something?"
"Yes, Graham. You are," You said, growing increasingly frustrated with him, "What about Karen? Does she know you're here?"
"Karen and I are—I don't know," He said, tears swelling in his eyes, "No. She doesn't know I'm here. We had a fight."
You shook your head, "Graham, all you've ever really wanted in life was to be loved. Just because you can't get that for one second from one woman doesn't mean you can run to the next one you find and get it from her. I can't be that woman for you."
"You don't—you don't love me anymore?"
"A part of me will always love you, but I'm not in love with you. I haven't been for a while."
He nodded, accepting your answer, "Okay."
"Okay," You repeated, "Go get her, Graham. You don't want to lose this one."
With that, you closed the door, turning back to Eddie.
"I'm sorry about that," You apologized, "I didn't think it would take that long."
He rose from the couch, walking towards you, "Did you mean what you said? You're not in love with him anymore?"
You nodded, "I haven't been for a while, Eddie."
"Is there... Is there someone else?"
You began slowly stepping towards him, "There is."
"Who... Do I know him?"
"I'd say you know him pretty well."
The two of you were inches away from each other.
"I believe our conversation was interrupted," Your voice was just above a whisper, "So let me ask you again: Is there anyone on your mind?"
He nodded, tilting his head, "There is."
A dreamy smile appeared on your lips, "Do I know her?"
His lips were mere seconds from being on yours, "I'd say you know her pretty well."
With that, you closed the gap between the two of you, your lips moving against his.
Eddie's hands cupped your face before slowly moving them down to your waist. Your arms tangled around his neck, smiling as you leaned into the embrace.
There was someone else—and that someone was Eddie.
