Having watching the two tournaments closely I know that the two are as chaotic, although in this case the Euro IS the more chaotic. Also, the ref is a huge factor, in Euro the refs are more inclined to call the fouls and penalized the players, but in Copa, the refs are more inclined to only call the fouls.

I make this while sleep deprived. I'm sure there are lots of other things that can be pulled out from this data but I'm way too tired to speculate more and I need sleep to watch the upcoming matcheess..see you all soon! XO

Ok so it might be controversial but both Argentina and Croatia deserved to win.Both teams played well, Argentina nt even aknowledged it. And you could see that they respect Croatia and the team (look at Di Maria and Modric, for example). Sure, it is worth critizing that FIFA does show favouritism towards certain teams is valid, but IN MY OPINION it is more apparent with "big" european teams and money wise ( see the first Ecuador goal against Netherlands that was offside, offside mis huevos pero bueno or one the goals against Qatar that was also offside, again offside mis huevos) and a team being favoured can happen and such.

Anyways both teams and countries are amazing and the game could have gone in many different directions and end with a bunch of different outcomes. Sure, some things and decisions maybe affected the outcome (the penalty kick) but there are other things that happened bc well they happened. A team was stronger at some point, the other not. See, both Croatia and Argentina have an amazing defence, nobody will convince me otherwise bc both Otamendi and Gvardiol have had amazing performances, Livakovic and Dibu Martinez too.

My point here is that in this house we respect both Argentina nt(As a South American, I am so proud of that team, it is time for a South American win) and Croatia nt (Croatia, sweetie, you did amazing. Two World Cup Semifinals in row is something amazing and worth remembering. One day, you will win)
