Eco Lifestyle Thoughts...

The world aesthetic is very OK to me. I feel like it could be an extension to so many worlds we have already and I really want more variety with the worlds. Hopefully, that survey recently means they are working on some new ones.

At the same time, I wonder if we’ll be able to really have an impact on the world, in that, my Evergreen will look slightly different than the next. The feature about community voting makes me think we’ll have some options what we want to do with the world other than to clean it up or not clean it up.

Candle making, that’s cool. I always like new hobbies and crafts so that’s a plus.

So, the biggest issue with this pack is that yeah, it doesn’t look like it is going to generally affect gameplay (in other worlds). I’m sure there will be lots of build/buy things and CAS items though and a lot of new gameplay objects like most EPs.

Is it what I wanted for the next EP? No, but, that doesn’t mean its terrible or that no one asked for it, I remember they did have ecostuff in the surveys and people did want some of these things.

I’m kinda guessing this is just left over ideas and stuff from University, Sulani, Tiny living, and it is stuff they can put out right now while the bigger ideas are still being developed. 

I think a lot of people are just disappointed more with the timing, maybe if this was released in March or something people would have just shrugged it off but it feels like we’ve been months without much activity from the sims team and then we get this, but, I think people should also consider that development has probably slowed down a little with them having to change from offices to working from home, i know some other games development has slowed down because of that too.

At the end of the day, it’s just one pack, I didn’t get what I want for this one but maybe it’ll be good? Maybe the world will be Windenburg sized? Maybe the next pack will be more my taste? We’ll see!
