Not in our #lifetime, you say? #NoPROBLEM says #CAMH #Brain #Disease #Psychiatry. Thanks to #transforminglives,, that won't be long at all! If #CAMH Psychiatrists - especially former CEO Paul Garfinkel - had been #clientcentred as opposed to #corporate client-centred and had developed the hospital accordingly it need never have become the #nexus of a #condo #wasteland a grotesque #travesty of a #JaneJacobs #mixedneighborhood. As long as #CAMH remains #SCAMH - a #cult #compound for the #welltodo #unwell right across #QueenWest from their favorite #bars and #boutiques - #Parkdale is #atrisk of becoming an #expensive #hole like #QueenWest and #Ossington - and in the shortest unhappiest lifetime! #Hatsonformentalhealth? #Eatyourhat!

I'm still trying to figure out what non-racial heritage these people are celebrating.

It's Time to Stop Flushing the Toilet
This Tumblr is dedicated to conservative wing-nut predictions made by political pundits and elected officials alike. These predictions will be graded for veracity on a three tier system: I’ll Be Damned, Ambiguous, and Eat Your Hat. Predictions will be allowed to gestate in the amount of time given therein. For example, if Pundit X says “Mark my words- Obamas (sic) will run for a third term ushering in the Fourth Reich and the Mark of the Beast”, we have a simple expiration date for the prediction- the end of 2016. At that point, the prediction will be re-posted as an update with a rating (most likely an “Eat Your Hat” in this case). Why is this important? My step dad parrots warnings and predictions by Glenn Beck daily. He seems to conveniently forget the multitude of predictions that never come true, whilst trumpeting the lucky few that do seem to come true (what was it they say about a broken watch?) Many victims of right wing punditry and elected chum slingers fall for the same confirmation bias that proponents of spiritual mediums do. “Focus on the hits; Ignore the misses”. Once a prediction matures without coming to fruition, it is swallowed into that gaping maw called the memory hole and the offending prophet is off the hook, free to continue bilking his or her audience (for Cash 4 Gold ad buy revenue or super-PAC donations I assume). I’ll try to keep commentary and/or satire short and sweet so as not to offend the TL;DR crowd. Your seconds are precious to me too! I encourage you to use #eatyourhat to shine a light on these charlatans and their reckless fear peddling. We need to say “We’re not going to flush the toilet! You shit big and everyone’s going to see it!”. That was crass. Sorry.
