Things We Said Today - love is luck or love is love?

When I first heard the original recording of Things We Said Today, I thought the lyrics were: “me, I’m just the lucky kind, love to hear you say that love is love”

I thought, what an LGBTQ thing to say! Love IS love!

Then I saw the lyrics and found out that it actually says “love to hear you say that love is luck”

So then I went, ah, well, of course they wouldn’t say something so queer in a song in the 1960’s

BUT THEN!!!

I just happened to be listening to the Live at the BBC recording of it, and when it got to this part, I thought, huh! Kinda sounded like he said “love is love,” really didn’t hear the k at the end for it to be luck. And then I looked at the words…

Soooo I’m officially allowed to sing love is love instead of love is luck and pretend it’s about McLennon and also pretend that it’s a queer song

And honestly “love to hear you say that love is love and though we may be blind love is here to stay and that’s enough” not only sounds better lyrically but also goes harder

another bunch of aliens. this playlists a weird mix of species from multiple series, but in my AU this is supposed to be the set that ben unlocked at the end of War of the Worlds. I headcanon that it originally contained a Lewodan sample, but Rath wasn't fuckin having it and booted it out, which made room for Nanomech. Also both of Eatle's designs are now two subspecies, I like both of them... even if this means he's now even MORE similar to upchuck lmao

most of the changes to designs are like minor aesthetic changes or like.. body proportions/outfit swaps but i wasn't even 100% sure this WAS eatle for a sec before he started yaknow eating stuff
