Like I know there's a whole doggy eateregg in both re4 and re4make, but I can't stop seeing Leon as a cat person. Specifically the type of cat person that coddles and is overbearingly affectionate with a very grumpy little man, because it's risk a scratch or risk human contact, the latter in which he'd rather eat his shit.

The dog Easter egg has nothing to do with Leon. It's an acknowledgement/homage of/to the fact that an early build of OG RE4 became Haunting Ground.

And Wesker calling Leon a dog is a creepy sex thing and you can't convince me otherwise LMAO

I learned that we all have some extra time at home. So how can I entertain you, guys? How about boosting your egg-dying skills?)) Natural dyes are much safer than ready-made food dyes and pretty simple to make! Boil the eggs and the dyeing ingredients together. For half a liter boiling water you need: 1. Yellow💛 add 2 spoons of vinegar and 3 tablespoons turmeric to the boiling water. 2. Brown-Orange ��add 2 spoons of vinegar and 4 cups of yellow onion skins to the boiling water. Add eggs. Check until the color will change. 3. Pink 💟 add 2 spoons of vinegar and 4 cups of chopped beets. Berries will give a colder hue, onion skins will make it more Red ❤️. 4. Blue 💙add 2 spoons of vinegar and 3 cups of chopped red or purple cabbage. For robin's egg blue, let the eggs soak for half an hour or leave in the fridge overnight. 5. Orange 🧡 add 2 spoons of vinegar and simmer 100g chopped carrots for 15 minutes; strain. 6. Green 💚 add 2 spoons of vinegar and 3 cups chopped spinach Let it boil slowly for 30 min, if not other is stated, let it cool. Yep, it takes time! I just wanted to say that i frekken love and im obsessed with the whole BSUniverse, from the main aftrrmath fic to TS&TS and the red room and rhe oneshots. It blows my mind to think you've been working and writing since 2016. So first of all a round of applause for the hard work and for not giving up 🙌 (side note: you're almost at 50.000 hits on ao3 🥳🥳🥳)I dont know why but it makes me so happy and proud of you even though Ive only known you since last july/august lol Happy 60th chapter!

Reading and still thinking about chapter 60 makes me so jittery and anxious (in a postive way?) about all the 2010/11 stuff, especially from the dune pov. Also cant help but wonder if the billy russo from the punisher #references are about him being tsts season2 villain.

Rami malek as rook and Christoph Waltz as Novak.. is being a sexy motherfucker a requirement for being a villain with capital V in this universe?? 🤔 also cant forget ace.. we know so little of him and that makes me even more curious: who do you see portrayed as him?

Speaking of evil, we cant forget villainapprenticebitchboy Wraith. Ive seen very little asks about him, maybe bc we know veeery little of him. I think the majority of us readers think its Danny behind the mask .. cant help but wonder if you've been gaslighting us since forever, but either way with the wraith face reveal imma scream so loud you'll be able to hear me from the other side of the world.

Will we see more of his side/background only in Aftermath or there will be little tiny cheeky eatereggs in ts&ts2 too (since ghost came back here)?

Honestly cant wait for more evil business from Novak, Wraith and Ace.

For a more generic question (maybe easier and non spoilery as the others??) did you plan every turnup and have you already planned future ones? Do you know how the aftermath fic ends or its a day by day carpe diem mindset? 🤙 how do you pace yourself with the writing and brainstorming ideas process?

Generally, I'm flying by the seat of my pants. I have zero clue what's going on most of the time but I make it work.

Wraith was never supposed to happen. The Ace of Spades was never supposed to happen. Novak was supposed to be the bad guy, end of story.

But.....then I thought "Well...wouldn't it be fun if I had more baddies to play with?" So I made more bad beans.

And I think I decided it early enough that it still made sense 🤞🏻 hopefully

I know the general area of how it ends but it's subject to change depending on how some of the plot points go.

Things translate differently on paper than they do in my head so I'm constantly tweaking things until it makes sense.

how do you pace yourself with the writing and brainstorming ideas process?

Since I have a vague idea of the route we need to take, I always start with a summary. I do a quick rundown of what each character is gonna do through the chapter:

Ghost does this while dealing with this. Boone discovers this while Duke and Jack do this. Wraith continues to be a nefarious piece of shit.

Then I'll go into a real outline and I'll keep in mind that most of the time, we're gonna wanna stay with Ghost. So if we can weave her into most of it, or a little of everyone's chapter arc, we're good.

From outlining I got straight into scripting. I find that it helps me get better dialogue and it helps the writing process go faster because I don't have to come up with what my characters are gonna say on the spot I just have to add their actions.

After scripting I dive into writing, following both the outline and the script and changing a few things as we go.

I know its not really a question to ask.. but Whos you're favorite child? Whos your favorite character to write?

But, for real, Boonie is the most fun to write because she's all over the place. But I've loved Duke ever since y'all didn't like him when he showed up in New Eden for the first time. And Ghost is wonderful too, because she's a smart, troublemaking badass.

And then there's Belov and the rest of Alpha 2 that are really growing in me because of TS&TS. It's really hard to pick a favorite when there's pieces of me in each and every one of them.

Dustin s2 easter egg- verifying Mileven isn’t in love :)

* (From s2) notice in dustin’s room he-man & Et next to each other (along with a ghost buster sign above them, and the ghostbusters-trap next to et). I’ve already talked about this in past posts to death. But this really just reinforces the mileven eastereggs I’ve already talked about -  and how they want you to make the connections  about mileven not being in love. They showed et next to he-man, so the next he-man ref would connect in a more obvious way to mileven.  Same with Et next to the ghost trap. In s1 el even watched he-man

-Erica in s2 makes he-man and barbie kiss: “Hey , They’re in love!”Lucas (livid- and standing right next to a rainbow forcing them apart): “No, actually,  they’re not. they’re not even from the same planet.”  Cue El and mike being compared to ET and Eliot -WHO AREN’T FROM THE SAME PLANET (by the Duffers in multiple interviews and in the pilot script-pic below ) .And Mike when dustin says El is like “a wizard” (like Will) Mike corrects Dustin and says “more like yoda” (another alien from a diff planet than Mike). Then there’s the  old euphemism of “girls come from Venus, and boys come from Mars”. So El telling mike he should ‘stick with his own species’ (aka boys). And the Duffers saying mileven isn’t in love cause they’re not from the same planet (aka the same gender) -is just them telling us Mike is gay so he can’t fall for El-who is a girl/diff species. They literally have Will say to Mike “welcome to my world” as a contrast. 

 The El/et refs are everywhere: the bike-scene, eggos vs reeses pieces, etc. The Duffers even discussed how they did the s1 makeover &  had  el dress like a ghost cause et did so in the movie - and then for the extra burn they made mike a ghost hunter/buster. 

- In contrast, They have Mike and Will parallel  Diane and Venkman. In ghost Busters, Mike -is Venkman- and Will -is Dana Barret- who Venkman flirts with shamelessly until she is possessed. Dana finds a demon-dog in her fridge, and hires the ghost busters. And right before Venkman goes on a date with her she is possessed by the big-bad, Zuul, and is transformed into the gate-keeper (who controls demo(n)-dogs). Venkman proceeded to try to talk to the real Dana , ignoring her possessed form and eventually realizes how serious her condition is, is forced to sedate her. Eventually with the help of his team, Venkman closes the gate to Zuul’s dimension, rescuing Dana in the process. And Venkman plants one on Dana before riding away in triumph. While, El is a ghost and Mike is a ghost hunter XD

-also el watching he-man and the romantic pairings being dissed. Is like how el watches all my children and pretends to be with Mike roy- and that pairing wasn't endgame either.

so yes... the Duffers set up that eateregg to show there mileven disses in full display. They’re so petty , I love them XD

*it’s unrelated but it’s like the s2 star wars ref also dissing mileven (they do it a lot).Mike in s1 writes a d&d story for Will inspired by star wars.  in ep one Will tells Mike “it was a 7, the demogorgan it got me.”At the end of the season Mike writes a whole story of him and his friends killing a 7 headed monster, and showing the decapitated head of the monster to king Tristan (Will). Similar to how at the hospital he tells Will to not worry cause “it’s dead now”. This is right after Will rolls a 14 (cause Mike and Will are 7s together). And Mike who is a fan of starwars has King Tristan give them medals after killing the monster. Cause he wants Will/king tristan (instead of Leia -a girl) to present him with medals and be his romantic love interest (and praise him for being a hero). Meanwhile- in s2 mileven is compared to luke/leia (the ‘trap’ ref). 2 characters who kissed before realizing they’re siblings . s1:  “will be like my brother?” /  “you can’t go with your sister (to the snowball) I mean you can but it’d be really weird.” *kisses her*. 

* the duffers in the youtube vid ‘Every Major Stranger Things Movie Reference Explained By the Duffer Brothers | WIRED’ explicitly stated in s2 El was ‘luke’ (pulling the train like Luke pulled the ship) along with how they wanted to dress her up as a ghost in s2 and in the dress /wig to call back to her being Et. It’s a good watch. I’d recommend checking it out.
