Last week @reidmccallum and I made a quick trip to Florida and Alabama! We took our chances and flew standby and it turned into quite an adventure. We started the vacation by showing up for a red eye flight at 11pm on Friday night... didn’t get on that flight so we went home and slept for 3 hours before getting up again at 4:30 to try to get on a 6am flight. Long story short, we didn’t get on a flight from SLC to Atlanta until mid-day Saturday. Once we got to Atlanta, after buying me a ticket to FL thinking it was the only way we could both get there, we realized that Reid actually couldn’t get on a flight the same day. So after contemplating just going home, at 9 PM we made a last minute decision to DRIVE to Florida. And FIVE hours later, at 2AM, we drove into the Grayton Beach area. It was chaos and exhausting, but once we got there, so relaxing and fun. We sat on the beach, went for a great run / walk on the beach and ate lots of AMAZING seafood.
