In Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, directed by Henry Selick in 1993, Jack Skellington is presented as an all authoritative figure above even the mayor of halloweentown while Santa Claus is large commercial boss who is presumed to run all of Christmas town. The Easter Bunny, though never shown, being depicted as more animalistic and inhuman plus the more obscure rituals associated with the holiday leads me to believe the Easter Bunny is a religious figure in Eastertown, revered as a God who must be appeased each spring.    WHAT’S THIS,  WHAT’S THIS  ?  halloweentown,  christmastown,   and  all  the  others  ;   filled  with  everything  and  everyone  revolving  around  their  holidays  coming  together  in  their  happy  (  or  horrible,   looking  at  you  halloweentown  )  towns.  at  least,  that’s  how  it  was,  before  the  black  out.  who  knows  what  caused  it.   everyone  has  their  suspicions,   most  of  which  point  to  halloweentown  and  their  pranksters.   something  happened,  oh  it  did,  and  when  everything  went  dark,  the  barriers  came  down,  unleashing  every  holiday  town.  now,  the  ghouls  and  elves  and  angels —  everyone,  they  all  have  to  get  along.  or  try  to,  perhaps  pretend.

7/8/2016: The "Easter Kangaroo" from Rise of the Guardians moved to an apartment on his own instead of-his words- "being lumped together with the other little buggers". He was too big to live in the same neighborhood as most of the other Easter bunnies, making this a radical departure from the other holiday themed toons living together. I think one other reason is that he couldn't stand the saccharine color scheme of Eastertown. -Wheezy
