S09 E05 - Cradle of Darkness
I already love the victorian/futuristic aesthetic of the episode. It's my favorite blend.
A young woman goes back in time to the victorian era in Austria to do something very inportant for the future of people. I will bet it has something to do with Hitler? Yup, baby hitler is here.
I haven't commented on this till now but let me just say that the opening fucking slaps, it's Korn's redemption of the original theme and all the graphics are very early 2000's and that is all I could ask for! Iconic!
Is it vicorian? I'm kinda lost, what year was adolf hitler born? It looks super victorian.
Anyway, I like that she finds out adolf's father was a royal asshole.
Uh oh, she met the poor mother and now has a bond with her, and she loves the baby so much.
Ew the asshole is into her.
She decides to jump into the river with the baby, but guess what? The maid who wants to be the asshole's next wife sees a poor woman on the street with a baby and buys him.
I guess the twist is that the poor woman was the woman who the asshole was bitching about for being romani.
