Also I have this imagination in my mind going on about how Leon would try to help his girlfriend from recovering from her mental health issues since she’s always helping him. I was recently thinking about how he would react finding her not moving on the bathroom floor and trying to bring her back! I rewatched American horror stories and the scene with tate and violet in the first season episode 6 (ig?) is always in my head. I‘m still recovering from my past and my unhealthy habits and tbh recovery never felt better.

I had a terrible period in my life when I was a few steps away from doing something like this in my life and unfortunately this shit often comes out. I'm not sure that such texts help me work through my psychological traumas, which were, in fact, inflicted on me and continue to be inflicted by close people who do not consider me a person, but at least such works help me to vent my pain, which I cannot permanently bury in myself.

I have been postponing this request for a long time because I was probably waiting for the right moment to write this text.

There are mentions of suicide, psychological trauma, severe self-doubt and anxiety, so if this is not acceptable to you, then please just block it.

Perhaps there is a similarity with my previous texts, but I am writing this with strong emotions now that I am trying to cope with it again.

Common situations in a routine life...

The kitsunes are spirits. Imagine a visit to a library-museum, which happens to exhibit works of ancient culture. Could it be that those beings always danced in the sky in such a way? Those kitsunes. Lost yourself looking at each one of those images but after seeing so many, ignored the last one. Just for a moment! When turned over that painting, it only had flowers and branches. What a strange composition for the time.

After 3 days, you felt like you were being followed and watched. And after 4 days, you almost thought you were crazy. In your house the chairs moved, and the furniture! The fan turned on by itself... Yor phone... Well. Tired, threw yourself on the bed, but it didn't feel like your bed. You had just lain down on a 2-meter orange fox.

It wasn't difficult to understand that only you could see it, that 2-meter beast that walked beside you on the street. Luckily, didn't have to give explanations. It walked along the bars of the house, floated through the air, danced in the wind for you. It went with you to the market and with its paw it pushed products into your shopping cart. Now, the fox is by your side all the time. He continues to accompany you to the market, thowing healty food in your basket. Hair creams or skincare too.

He greets your neighbors and tells them he is taking good care of you. "What a good boyfriend you are, Cater!" And he puts that fox smile. He told you. He's a shapeshifter. Do you see him as a pet? Well, to the neighbors, appears to be someone else.

Cater wouldn't mind wearing that collar you want to put on him at all. He sleeps by your side every night like a faithful fox, wrapping his tails around your waist and legs, hugging you. His tails are soft and fluffy. Can't you move? Can't you leave? How bad~

Over time, Cater began to sleep with you in his human form, retaining his tails and ears, as well as fangs and nails. little summaries of the kentucky route zero chapters ive played so far to try and convince more people to play this game:

act I: a man pulls up to a gas station where the power is out. there's an old dog wearing a straw hat that you either get to name or declare you don't know it. there's a glow in the dark 20 sided dice. an old television with ghosts in it. a mine where you have to turn all the lights off to listen to a 20+ year old tape recording of miners singing. and more!

limits & demonstrations: a brief interlude where you get to look around a gallery exhibition of impossible art installations that defy the laws of physics

act II: an application to the gaston trust of imagined architecture. a ghost highway that is an endless ring road that changes every time you switch direction. the bureau of reclaimed spaces is an old cathedral repurposed multi story office building, but the organ is still there, and you get to listen to a performance. one of the offices just has bears in it. a museum with no exhibitions in it, just dwellings. and a giant fucking eagle.

the entertainment: another interlude, this time a student production that combines two plays into one. you play a character who has no lines. you get to witness the action between the characters as well as watch the audience, read the script notes, the lighting cues, the playwright's foreword, and more. debt is out to get us all.

act III: a truck. a motorcycle with a sidecar. a two person band that has no people in it. a beautiful performance of a keytar love song "whisperwave" ballad that literally blows the roof off the building. a cave inhabited by a burning computer. the dog and the keytar player become kindred souls. someone gets employed against their will. there's whiskey.

here & there along the echo: dial the information hotline for the bureau of secret tourism so that a dry-humoured, deadpan but earnest man can tell you about the sites of interest and cultural history of the river echo. learn about subterranean birds and the iron pariah and underwater islands.

that's how far in i am at the moment... there's 10 acts and an interlude between each one! i never want this to end.

The Black Eagles dorms were hit harder than he expected, and as such it was only fair to repair that damage for the young woman he's grown to care about in the way he knows how.

It's from one specific merchant he'd met on the Adrestian roads that the plush is delivered, purple and gold bow wrapped around it with the crudely made mimic of a cocoa can in its hands and a note attached to it that needs no name attached in his opinion. "Get well soon... Bernie." The product of strictest guidance in its creation for the person he's come to care about in his own unique way.

bernadetta misses her room.

she counts her blessings for the friends she has—for against all odds, still, she had made some—she counts the handful of roofs offered for her refuge, she counts the kindnesses that keep piling up at her feet. she counts the number of deeds it will take to repay them. through all of this, bernadetta drifts closer to a revelation she had never dared humor before. maybe home is not always four solid walls and two deadbolts on a door.

it is not an infirmary's cranny with scarce privacy and sterile curtains—but maybe it can be the parcel forwarded there, addressed to one bernie, seemingly tailored for her with its color scheme and contents.

—though she is surprisingly dull-witted in regard to sleuthing out its sender. the cocoa can, mistaken for a cookie jar—its meaning escapes her faster than the rest of her day.

but at the end of it, when the sun has set and the night reigns on, nestled in bernadetta's arms is the plush that helps ease the pain of the one she had lost. for some reason she dreams up the face of one mr. von vestra that night—horrifying, as usual, but somehow less of a nightmare this time around. his cackle easily runs off her other fears instead.

William Hogarth, Strolling Actresses Dressing in a Barn

So much of Hogarth's work combines exquisite detail with subtle meanings that works on many different levels, and this engraving is an ideal example. The original painting was unfortunately lost to a fire in 1874.

A traveling theater company has made use of an old barn as a dressing room, leading to this surreal scene. The actors play Roman gods and goddesses, contrasting the worlds of the divine and the mortal, the lofty and the mundane.

The playbill, in the lower left, identifies the production as The Devil to Pay in Heaven, and Hogarth may be poking fun at the church-sponsored morality plays so common at the time. A contemporary viewer would also have been aware that Parliament had recently passed a new law, which heavily censored dramatic productions and outlawed unlicensed troupes. This will be their bittersweet final performance.

In the center, Diana practices her pose, though she hardly looks like a chaste goddess. To the right, two children dressed as devils drink from a mug of beer, as if taking an offering from an altar, while to the left Flora, the goddess of the spring, dusts her hair in front of a broken mirror.

A woman grasps a cat as an actress playing a ghost draws blood from its tail, which was apparently a folk remedy for an injury from a fall. Below them, Juno memorizes her lines, Night darns her stocking, and a monkey urinates into a prop helmet.

To the top left, Cupid recover a pair of stockings for Apollo, and below, a Siren gives Ganymede a drink to help numb his toothache. Aurora is frustrated with fixing Ganymede's dress. An actress dressed as Juno's eagle feeds a child, with the bowl resting on a crown and a copy of the Act against Strolling Players. The playbill is precariously perched over a chamberpot.

My favorite element of the picture is a caricature of a vanitas painting at the bottom, where two kittens are playing with an orb and a harp. And if you look very closely, a man is peering down through a hole in the roof, referencing the myth of Actaeon seeing Diana naked.

The little things that happen on Earth are like reflections of the grand drama we imagine is playing itself out in the Heavens, sometimes as a comedy, and sometimes as a tragedy. Do the gods also have to worry about intrusive politicians, or how to feed the baby after losing one's livelihood?
