even with their imperfections and inconsistencies, i really put a lot of thought and work into drawing my thumbnails so i feel like they deserve their own posts. heres the thumbnails for my first 10 episodes of etern1ty <3

ok so mianite bitches on tumblr get a load of this shit

theres a mc server (1.21, vanilla+) i play on regularly (the Etern1ty SMP, a lot of ppl are making videos n stuff for it) thats pretty damn active and has like 20+ active players on the whitelist, basically none of whom know anything about mianite except for myself and this one other guy

about two weeks ago, i set up three little shrines to the three gods in their relative dimensions to see what the players did with it with no context for any of them as a sort of like social experiment

so far:

someone has been regularly offering items to Ianite, mostly because why not

someone has straight up sacrificed themself to dianite

someone else straight up sacrificed themself to ianite after the dianite person did it "so that it all evens out"

2 out of the 3 signs got vandalized to be renamed to uwu speak, which as the shrines' janitor i felt obligated to go back and fix afterwards

afaik nobody has offered anything in the interest of order yet

since the gods themselves mean nothing to most of the whitelist (which makes sense considering they have essentially no direct presence here- i'm not going to bother acting any of them out), they've been donating and sacrificing things according to what each god represents

which is fucking fascinating to me

anyways, do what this what you will. just thought y'all would appreciate knowing that

hullo, if i may ask: what's etern1ty smp?

HI sorry for not responding to this sooner we have been very busy lately and tumblr ate the first draft of our response to this but basically

The Etern1ty SMP is a vanilla+ Minecraft multiplayer server with 20+ or so active players on the whitelist, many of whom make videos and other content for the server. A lot of it is MCRP, of course, but there's also a ton of genuine silly moments.

It's the sequel to the Ephemeral SMP, which only lasted 5 hours, and is very much haunted by its predecessor.

Individual POVs

Lucky (luckyrabbitclaws) @luckyrabbitclaws - With well-edited, well-acted episodes, Lucky's perspective is the best to start off with for those new to the series. Not only does it provide context for many of the events on the server, but he also puts a lot of time and effort into the details, drawing the thumbnails for the episodes himself and making sure to add trigger warnings to the start of his episodes when applicable.

Gallade (Galladegamer) @galladegamer - Guy of all time who gets into every situation ever and is involved with basically everything on the server. This makes his POV great if you aren't put off by how many episodes he has! Gallade is one of the funniest people on the server in my opinion, and that extends to his editing style as well- it's simple but well-done, with fantastic comedic timing. 100% recommend. His latest episode includes an ARG that leads to some extra bonus content, too, if you're into that.

Keys/Six (darubyprincxx) @syn4k - Server admin, started recording late (about two weeks into the server), perspective covers topics like learning to move on from the past, the complexities and weight of knowing what will happen in the future (they can see past the 4th wall), and how to deal with the knowledge that you messed up. A couple of their more recent episodes include ARGs with bonus storytelling snippets and extra content that's relevant to the Etern1ty storyline as a whole.

i made an etern1ty smp fan discord, it's pretty barebones atm but! it exists! (smp members can join too, i don't mind)

so fanon!watchers are usually purple eldritch angels, right?

i don't remember if admins are the same things as watchers in etern1ty lore, but either way, i feel like etern1keys' true/non-player form *isn't* the typical fanon!watcher vibe

idk how to explain my vision, but like. take a fanon!watcher, mix it with the code monster from qsmp, put it in a blender, and slap some chromatic abberation on it and that's it's appearance
