I was surprised when I realized it's already been 3 years. First of all, I would like to thank all of the fans that have continued supporting us!!

I'm sure we've already made so many great memories together in Japan by now, but for me that's nearly not enough. lol

I'm sure everyone else feels the same, and I want to work hard and do more activities in Japan as well; I really really want to see you all again.

Although it's difficult to see each other in person right now due to the circumstances, we will continue to do our best to create wonderful memories with everyone, as we have done in the past, so please continue to support us!

My name is Johnny and I’ll be your peer mentor for the next two weeks! In this e-mail you’ll find all of the important schedules that you’ll have as well as a map of the campus. For now, the most important document is the one with the information on how to get the key to your temporary room, it’s the first thing you gotta do when you get here!

On the first day we’ll have two meetings. The first one will be just a general introduction about the University, the campus and all that important business. Then I’ll take you to a tour of the campus. The second meeting we’ll be about the finalization of your transfer process, so it’s very important you assist to that one!

Kun pushed his suitcase with one hand as he held the map of the campus with the other. He was trying to figure out where the dormitories were so he could get his key and pass out for the night. His flight had been postponed and he had ended up arriving later than planned, which ruined his plans of seeing a little bit of Korea for the day. Now, the only thing he craved was rest.

When he finally figured out how to read the map, he sighed in relief and made his way there. His legs ached. At first because of the somewhat cramped space in the Economy Class of the flight he had taken, but now because he had been walking around like a headless chicken trying to decipher the campus’ map. That tour was certainly going to come in handy.

He folded the map and shoved it in his pocket as he got to the building. The lady behind the desk was quite kind and understanding as she guided him through the registration process, and soon enough he was holding the miraculous key in his free hand. His room was on the second floor, which was ideal because he didn’t want to climb too many stairs while carrying the suitcase.

The room was a decent size and it had two beds on opposite sides. He knew he would need to share rooms once the classes started, but for now, he was grateful to have it for himself. Kun chose the bed further away from the door and sat on it, laying down the suitcase to begin pulling stuff out. He was tired, but his future self would be grateful to him if he didn’t have to struggle looking for clothes the next day.

Once he had put everything away, Kun flopped on the bed and took out his cellphone. He had bought a plan just so he could use it in Korea during his stay, but he would probably have to change numbers until he finished his studies. He had a couple of messages from his fathers and some friends, but decided to answer them later. He was still a little bit surprised he was actually going through with his decision to study in Korea.

He didn’t have an actual reason to do it. He had made the decision unprompted and just gone through with it, and now he was only a couple months away from starting his universitary studies in Korea. His fathers had been very supportive of him, like they had always been, but it still surprised him a little bit that they had just let him go to a whole other country. Still, Kun was sort of glad with his decision, if only because it made him excited.

He raised his arm and looked at the horse pacing on his skin. It was really big, even for a soulmate tattoo, and from what Kun had researched, he knew it was a Clydesdale. Whenever it was on his hand, it covered more than half of the back, and it made him feel somewhat small. It was funny though, because his fathers usually told him his soulmate must be someone really tall, even though the tattoos weren’t actually tied to the physical aspect of the person.

Kun sometimes wondered what the animal that represented him was. But more than that, he wondered if he would ever find his soulmate at all. He knew it was difficult to find your soulmates and that a lot of people were happy even when they never got to meet them. Still, he was allowed to hope. Maybe that was the reason he had left China in the first place. He sighed and turned around, falling asleep shortly after.

The next morning, he woke up with enough time to get ready and have breakfast. The problem was that he didn’t have food nor did he know where the nearest convenience store or cafeteria was. Fortunately, he had packed protein bars for such occasions. He opened one and shoved two more in his pockets before picking up his backpack and heading out, map in one hand and protein bar in the other.

His backpack had nothing but a notebook, a couple of pens, and his cellphone’s charger. Honestly, he didn’t even think he would need to take that many notes to begin with, and felt silly for bringing such a big backpack with him. It was a little too late to be second-guessing his outfit, so he just followed the map to the best of his abilities to the auditorium where they would be introduced to the university.

Kun finished his protein bar and shoved the plastic wrapper in his backpack before entering the auditorium. There were already people there. A kind senior student gave him a folder containing notes with what they were seeing that day, before directing him towards the seats. Kun walked down the aisle and sat down, keeping a certain distance from the other foreigner students waiting for the meeting to start. He still didn’t feel quite ready to make friends.

Little by little, the auditorium filled until the clock marked the time for the meeting. Kun took out his pens and made his own notes over the papers he had been given. The peer mentors told them a little bit of history about the university and explained to them how each department was divided. Kun paid close attention to everything, while simultaneously wondering which of those students was ‘Johnny’.

He had liked the first impression he had formed of his peer mentor through the email. He seemed kind and helpful. As far as Kun knew, most peer mentors were also foreigner students that had been new to the university at some point, just like them. Johnny was, according to his limited knowledge, an English name, so he wondered if his peer mentor came from England or maybe America.

“Now, let’s go through a quick overview of the campus’ map, and then your peer mentors can take you on a tour!” The student at the front said, as the presentation changed to a slide with a map of the university.

Kun compared it to his own map which he had been using so far, but it wasn’t of much help, as he had truly no idea how to even locate himself in the map. The tour would surely be helpful. The meeting came to an end shortly after, and the mentors pulled out papers with their names printed on them. Finding Johnny was easy enough.

His mentor was a tall man. His hair was long and bleached, half of it held back in a little bun. He was holding his sign high and moving it around with a silly smile on his face. Kun couldn’t help but smile, although he tried to suppress it as he walked towards him. From close up, Johnny was even taller, but his smile made him approachable.

“I think this is all of you,” Johnny said with a smile, as he folded the paper and put it back in his pocket. “My name’s John Seo, but please don’t call me John, it makes me feel old. You can also call me Youngho, as that is my Korean name. Whatever makes you feel more comfortable!”

As it turned out, three out of his four new colleagues were also Chinese, which immediately made him feel more comfortable. Junhui and Yanan were both taller than him, but the first one looked like he was up for mischief and the second one had a very nice smile. Handong looked like you didn’t want to mess with her, but she turned out to be quite funny and nice. Alexandra (or Alex, as she had asked them to call her) was very friendly and immediately bonded with Johnny over coming from America.

Johnny turned out to be an excellent guide. He let them know where the most important markers were and how to use them as guides to get to their destinations. The campus was really big, and they ended up only looking at the main buildings. By the end of the three hour tour, Kun was exhausted and famished. Fortunately, he wasn’t the only one, so Johnny took them to his favorite cafeteria on campus.

“Personally this is my favorite place to eat on campus,” he explained as they all picked something from the menu. “But you can always eat outside if you find time to come and go, there’s plenty of stuff around here.”

“Johnny-ssi-” Kun began, but he was quickly stopped.

“Hyung, please,” Johnny said with a smile. “What is it?”

“Johnny-hyung…” The word felt weird on his tongue since he didn’t actually know Johnny that well, but the oldest seemed content with his effort, so he was willing to let it slide. “Is it true that there’s going to be a treasure hunt?”

“A treasure hunt?” Junhui immediately piped in, eyes open wide.

“Ohh yeah.” Johnny clicked his tongue. “Spoiler alert, it’s quite hard.”

They followed him to a table. Kun sat in front of him, so it would be easier to ask him questions and listen to him without having to turn around. Johnny prompted them to eat their lunch while he explained a little bit more about the treasure hunt. The first bite tasted like glory to Kun, although he wasn’t certain if it was because of his hunger or because the food there was as good as Johnny had bragged it was. 

“There’s prizes, mostly things that will be useful for your stay here. It can range all the way from supplies to food coupons which, honestly, can be life savers.” Johnny took turns to talk and eat, trying not to leave details out. “But it is pretty hard, since the campus is so big.”

“We should team up!” Alex suggested, and the rest nodded.

“Is it obligatory?” Handong asked, leaning closer.

“Oh no-” Johnny shook his head- “none of the activities are obligatory, they’re simple recommendations.”

“Will you participate in the treasure hunt?” Kun asked.

“Well, technically I can’t,” he said, after swallowing a bite of his meal, “but I will help prepare it.” Johnny winked knowingly, and Kun found himself needing to look away.

Johnny was very friendly, and very confident. Which he had a right to be, because he was also very attractive, but that only made Kun feel more flustered and awkward. It wasn’t that Kun didn’t have self-confidence, because he did… just not as much as Johnny. He just hoped he would be able to overcome it soon, because Johnny was going to be his mentor for two whole weeks.

“Right.” Johnny pulled his cellphone out of the bag and passed it to Yanan on his side. “Please put your Kakao account, it’ll be easier to talk through there than through emails.” Yanan sent himself a friend request and then passed it to Alexa. “Also, I would like to invite you all for dinner tonight, it’s on me. I’ll text you the details.”

Once they were done eating, the five of them returned to the meeting room while Johnny stayed behind to do some other stuff. This time, Kun did sit next to his new friends, finding it a bit more comfortable. Soon enough they were all added to a chatroom by Johnny, and Kun used the opportunity to add them all as friends.

This meeting was a lot more tedious, as it was packed with important information. Kun could barely take notes fast enough in Korean, so they ended up a mix of Korean and Chinese that probably only he could understand. It didn’t matter as long as he was able to use them for their intended purpose. 

After the meeting, they went their separate ways, as they all wanted to use their free time differently. Kun simply went back to his dorm, thinking that he should ask Johnny for some places to visit over dinner. He kind of knew where he wanted to go, but getting the opinion of someone with more experience than him seemed like a better idea. Just as he was thinking of that, Johnny sent a message to their chatroom.

Johnny-hyung: meet me outside the dorms at 8-ish Johnny-hyung: dinner’s on me!

Kun programmed an alarm and then flopped on his bed to take a nap. He was exhausted and it took him no time to fall asleep. He barely heard the alarm when it sounded, and woke up with a start. He managed to fix his hair and rinse his mouth before storming off to the dorm’s reception. Despite waking up right on time, he was still the first one to make it besides Johnny, who smiled brightly upon his arrival.

“For a moment I thought you’d stand me up!” He said as a form of greeting. Kun bowed slightly, apologetically. “Don’t worry about it, the others said they’re on their way here. It seems like they had a busy afternoon.”

It took about ten minutes for everyone to get there, then Johnny called cabs for them and off they went. He took them to a grill house, and as soon as the smell of grilling meat reached them, they all felt hungry. A waiter took them to the table Johnny had reserved, and they all sat promptly, eager to eat.

When the meat arrived and Johnny began grilling it, Kun immediately offered to help. At least it was something he could do, and it made him feel better to have some sort of control over the situation. Everything felt so foreigner to him, which was kind of ironic when he was in a group full of other foreigners.

“Ohh!” Johnny exclaimed in admiration. “It seems like our Kun is good at grilling meat!”

Alex let out a cheer as Kun placed a handful of juicy pieces of meat on her place. Junhui tried to steal from her, but she protected her plate fiercely. Kun chuckled and served Junhui next, to avoid a war from starting at their table.

“It’s nothing, I just like cooking.” Kun smiled, feeling warm at the compliment.

“Really now.” Johnny smiled, taking care of his own side of the grill. Kun glanced at him briefly, but looked away once he discovered Johnny was looking at him.

Once everyone had meat on their plates, Johnny grabbed his glass and raised it to the center. The others followed him, glancing curiously at him.

“I want to propose a cheer for all of you,” he explained. “May your first year at the university be successful!”

“Cheers!” They all exclaimed in unison, clinking their glasses and then drinking for them.

Kun glanced at Johnny briefly, and the oldest smiled at him, reassuringly. He felt his shoulders relax as he took another sip of his drink before going back to grilling meat. Maybe he would be able to find himself in this unfamiliar place after all.

t a e y o n g(태용): Taeyong seems like someone who tries to meticulously plan things out before acting upon anything.He would probably get to know you first and slowly become friends with you, getting to know all of your interests and dislikes. Taeyong(태용) would love to take you for a wonderful date and would try to convince you to go to a super expensive(비쌉니다) restaurant. However, his plans were thwarted when he forgot to make a reservation(예약). Instead he would take you to all of the well-known street food places and you two would enjoy a night out in Hongdae(훙대). When he brought you home he would confess and it would feel like a weight was lifted off his shoulders.

t a e i l(태일): It has been said that he is one of the quieter members, which could mean he is just really shy(수줍어하는). Cutie! Taeil(태일) might have a hard time openly confessing to you. That being said, he would still make an effort to show his feelings for you. Less through words and more through subtle actions. For example, he notices that you don’t have a pen and gets you a box of pens in your favorite color. Or you mention that you’re hungry(배가 고픈) and he buys you food(음식) and attaches a sweet note(메모) to it. Eventually you start to add up all the generous things he has done and ask him about it. It is then that he would more than likely confess his feelings bashfully(수줍게).

j o h n n y(영호): Yeongho is not a shy guy!The two of you would  have been friends(친구들) for a while so the atmosphere between the two of you was very relaxed. After a night of drinking and eating Korean BBQ(고기구이), Johnny would have dragged you to one of the nearby karaoke bars(노래방). After many rounds of Twice(트와이스), SNSD(소녀시대) and Shinee(샤이니) songs Yeongho would ask you to close your eyes. Reluctantly you did until you heard Taemin’s “Move” playing.  Johnny would put everything he had into the song and would flirtatiously smile at you throughout the song. Directly after finishing the song, Johnny asks to take you on a proper date.

y u t a(유타): Yuta and you had been planning to hang out when he got back from touring. It was going to be a day filled with shopping(쇼핑) and eating(먹는), and when the day came you threw on your favorite outfit and met him at the mall(쇼핑몰). The two of you were so excited, you hardly noticed that the outfits you two had picked out looked like a couple’s outfit(커플룩) until an employee asked if you were looking for matching shirts. Yuta(유타) died laughing while a blush appeared on your face as you tried to laugh off the slight embarrassment. Throughout the day, Yuta and you had taken some amazing pictures(사진들) together. While trying on a pair of shoes(신발) you found interesting, Yuta was looking through the pictures you had taken and simply stated, “We would make a great couple.(우리는 멋진 커플이 될 거야.)” You looked up from putting on your shoe and stared at him for a minute before he flashed you his healing smile and hugged you, moving on to looking at another pair of shoes to try on.

k u n(쿤): You and Kun had been friends for a while, and knowing how busy he was you were okay with not getting much time to hang out with him. However, the two of you kept in contact by FaceTiming and texting constantly. One day, he asked you to come over and of course you hurriedly got dressed and when you arrived at the dorms(기숙사) it was quiet. You had been expecting to at least hear Chenle(천러) screaming. Before you could knock, Kun(쿤) opened the door and greeted you with a big hug(포옹하다). He led you to the kitchen table and lit some candles. Finding this slightly humorous you jokingly stated, “Kun, I know you’re a good cook. But I didn’t know you had a private restaurant.” Kun laughed and turned off the lights before putting down an amazing meal in front of you. Right before you could start eating Kun pulled out a deck of cards and said, “Pick a card.(카드를 뽑다.)” Rolling your eyes and laughing you picked the King of Spades. Right before your eyes Kun changed it to the Queen of Hearts that had “Will you go out with me?(나랑 사귀어 줄래?)” written on it.

d o y o u n g(도영):The whole day had been a mess. It started with Doyoung picking you up from your apartment(아파트)/house(집) and the two of you walking to a nearby cafe(카페). On the way there, Doyoung accidentally is staring at you and is slowly walking closer and closer until he bumps into you, knocking you to the ground. You laugh it off, telling him to watch where he is going, but this sends Doyoung into a full panic. When you get to the cafe and place your drink on the table Doyoung tries to pull out your chair(의자) so you can sit down but he pulls it too far causing you to almost fall. This leads you to asking him if he is feeling alright while laughing. As you continue talking about how everything was while he was away on tour he was texting Johnny and asking him for some advice. Of course, Johnny(쟈니) tells Doyoung to just relax and not think too much about it. When he finally looked up from his phone, you had turned to look at the other pastries the cafe offered. He noticed you had a crumb(부스러기) on the side of your face but just as he went to wipe it off you had turned your head causing him to accidentally hit you. Doyoung’s face drops to the table and he says, “This isn’t a good first date is it?(이것은 좋지 않은 첫 데이트에요?)” Your eyes go wide and he looks up and says, “Of course, it’s only a first date if you want it to be!(물론, 네가 원한다면 그건 첫 데이트일 뿐이야!)”

t e n(텐): Ten had dragged you to the new cafe(카페) that opened up around the block from his dorms. You had gotten there so early so that he could pick the exact spot he wanted. He even tried a couple out before deciding to move to another seat, which earned the two of you strange glances from the workers. After finally picking the ideal seat, Ten went to order an Iced Green Tea(아이스 녹차) and a piece of chocolate cake(초콜릿 케이크) to share. The both of you would be taking pictures of not only the food(음식), but together as well.  While looking over the pictures(사진들) you took he would feed you a piece of cake. He chuckled, noticing how focused you were and asked, “What are you doing?(뭐 하는 거야?)” “I’m looking through the pictures we took today! I had such a great time!” “You know we could have more days like this...  It doesn’t have to be our last date.” When you looked at him in surprise he would simply shrug his shoulders and say, “I’m just saying. I’m going to get more cake.(그냥 말하는 거야. 나는 케이크를 더 가져올 거야.)”

j a e h y u n(재현): He radiates hopeless romantic vibes, therefore I feel as though confessing to you would be as easy as drinking water for him. However, he doesn’t want to just simply confess, he wants it to be special!Expect flowers(꽃들), cards and maybe even chocolate(초콜릿).  Jaehyun would call you one morning and tell you to get ready! The whole day would be spent visiting a cute cafe(귀여운 카페), where the two of you would eat pastries and drink coffee(커피). The next stop would be this cute museum(귀여운 박물관) where they let you take pictures! And finally, Jaehyun would bring you to this small restaurant(작은 식당) that had an intimate atmosphere. When you two left the restaurant he would ask,“So did you enjoy our day together? Do you want to do this more often? Because I do!(그래서 우리 함께 즐거운 하루를 보냈지? 너는 이것을 더 자주 하고 싶니? 왜냐하면 내가 하기 때문이다!)”

w i n w i n(윈윈): This soft boi would be a blushing mess around you. I think instead of directly telling you he would make it obvious through his actions. He would occasionally bring you ice cream(아이스크림), especially when you were studying/working(공부/일하기), and would constantly sneak glances over at you when you aren’t looking. Slowly he would start to build up some courage(용기) and the next time he brought you ice cream, he would say, “Maybe next time we could go to this ice cream shop that just opened up.(아마 다음번에는 막 개업한 아이스크림 가게에 갈 수 있을 거야.)”

j u n g w o o(정우): Everyone knows how affectionate this cutie(귀염둥이) is with his members. Therefore, I think he may be 10X more affectionate(다정한) toward those he likes or has a crush on. Whenever he sees you he greets you with hugs(포옹) (as long as you’re okay with it of course!) and has a huge smile(웃음) plastered on his face. He constantly compliments your pictures and always just shows so much interest whenever you talk. One day when you guys are just relaxing(긴장을 풀고 있다), he would be staring at you. When you finally noticed he would just ask you out as if it was a normal ordeal. It would seem so random and casual, but it would be such a big deal for him.

l u c a s(루카스): I feel as though you only have to watch one video(비디오로) with Lucas in it to find out how confident(자신 있다), loud(시끄럽다) and funny(웃기다) this boy-man is. That being said, it is incredibly easy for him to confess his feelings for you… however. He. Is. EXTRA! I feel like since he is the member that eats the most, he would spell out your name with samgyeopsal(삼겹살) on your plate surrounded by a heart made of kimchi(김치). When he showed you he would get all excited and say, “It’s great isn’t it?! Do you like it?(굉장하지?! 마음에 드십니까?)” When you burst out laughing he would be so happy. Your laugh makes his day!

m a r k(마크): Mark would most definitely be at practice or at the studio(스튜디오). When he finally took a break he would text you and snapchat you a lot. That being said, Haechan(해찬) being Haechan would love to bother him about his crush on you. While Mark went off to continue practicing, Haechan took his phone(전화) and asked you out for Mark. At first Mark would be mad, but that would soon subside when he thought of how long he had waited to ask you himself.

x i a o j u n (샤오쥔): This sweet boy would have had a crush on you for a while, but he was just too afraid you would reject him. So when you asked him if he could teach you how to play the guitar(기타를 치다) he quickly agreed even if he was nervous. While he was watching you figure out the strings and strum the guitar playfully, he would quietly mutter to himself, “I love them.(나는 그들을 사랑한다.)”  Unbenounced to him, you heard. You stare at him and while smiling he becomes a blushing mess and tries to bring the conversation to playing the guitar and as he is leaning close to you, you whisper , “I love you too.(나도 사랑해.)”

h e n d e r y(헨드리): The two of you had been friends for a while, so day trips were a normal thing. While on one of your day trips, just through Yongsan Park(용산공원), during the spring(봄). The flowers on the trees(나무들) had just bloomed and Hendery really wanted to take some selcas together. It seemed like the two of you had taken 20 photos(20장의 사진) and when you two sat down to view them Hendery said, “Wow! You’re always so pretty!(대박! 넌 항상 너무 예뻐!)”

r e n j u n(런쥔): This artistic baby would most definitely stress over trying to confess his feelings to you. He would plan out a whole speech(말씨) and try practicing it multiple times in the mirror until Jaemin convinces him that he should just make a card. The floor would most definitely be covered with balled up cards that failed to explain his feelings. The card he finally settled on was a Moomin(무민) shaped card that was written in both Korean, Chinese and English(한국어, 중국어, 영어, 스페인어)[And he google translated Spanish as well(Just in case!)] He would deliver it to you with a single orange tulip(오렌지 튤립) and box of chocolate(초콜릿 한 상자).

j e n o(제노): The two of you would be playing phone games(전화 게임) together on the phone while having a relaxing day in the dorms. The members would joke about how you two never look away and how you two probably don’t even know what day it is. Jaemin(재민) came inside for a minute to grab his pink cardigan(핑크 케리건). While he was putting his shoes(신발) on, Jaemin asked the both of you if you wanted to grab ice cream with him and Donghyuk(동혁). Jeno immediately said, “No, we’re okay.” Jaemin left and Jeno sat up from his laid back position and grabbed your phone so that you would look at him. When you did he asked , “Do you want to get ice cream?” “Didn’t Jaemin just ask if we wanted some and you said ‘no’.” “I didn’t want to go with Jaemin. I want to go with you.(나는 재민이와 함께 가고 싶지 않았다. 나는 너와 함께 가고 싶다.)”

h a e c h a n(동혁): Hyuk would be playing a game on the computer(컴퓨터 게임) whilst you were on your phone(전화기). You were used to his loud antics and hearing him rage at his teammates. However it was so normal you blocked it out. You were so focused on what was on your phone, you hadn’t noticed he turned around and asked you a question. When you didn’t respond he would throw a pen in your direction. When you asked him to repeat himself he said, “I asked if you wanted to go on a date.(데이트를 하고 싶냐고 물어봤다.)”When you blushed he would just laugh and go back to playing his game. This led you to believe that he was just teasing you, but then he said, “You pick the place and we’ll go.(네가 장소를 정하면 우리는 갈 것이다.)”

j a e m i n(재민): This boy is a massive flirt(시시덕거리다)! He knows he likes you but I feel like you would figure it out anyway. There would be months of him showering you with compliments and giving you small gifts(칭찬과 작은 선물). One day in particular was when he became extra flirty, and once he saw you blush he would laugh and hug you tightly. “I’m just teasing you! But we should go on a date soon. I don’t know how much more of the cheesy flirting you can take.(얼마나 더 오글거리는 시늉을 할 수 있는지 모르겠다.)”

y a n g y a n g(양양): Our sweet YangYang speaks almost five languages(which is incredible!). I think the two of you would have to be friends(친구들) in order for him to even tickle the idea of confessing to you. But when he does, he talks so fast that it comes out as a jumble of the five different languages(5개의 다른 언어) and he ends with “You know what I mean?(무슨 말인지 알아?)” This causes the both of you to laugh and for him to take a deep breath before grabbing your hand(손) and pulling you off to go find an ice cream shop(아이스크림 가게) to eat at.

c h e n l e(천러): This sunshine would laugh at all of your jokes and try to be as funny(웃기다) as possible. The two of you would be laughing(웃고 있다) so hard and he would randomly say “Wouldn’t it be funny if we dated?(우리 사귀면 재밌지 않을까?)” He would laugh it off to make it less awkward, but when you stopped laughing he would as well. Poor boy would become so nervous of you saying ‘no’ that he would try to stutter a response. When you just started laughing again and agreed to go out with him, this boy’s smile would create world peace.

j i s u n g(지성): This awkward baby would have such a hard time even being around you if he had a crush on you. He so badly wanted to ask you out that he decided to get tips from his hyungs(형들). However, all the advice he was given would be tossed out the window the second he saw you coming towards him. But he took a deep breath and said, “Y/n would you like to go on out with me?(나랑 데이트 할래?)” He said it so fast that you almost didn’t make out what he said, but the blush on his face confirmed what you thought. This boy would be so happy that you said ‘yes’ that he would immediately go straight to talk to his hyungs(형들)!

[INTERVIEW] Baekhyun, Kai - 200314 Vogue: “K-Pop Supergroup SuperM On Friendship, Fans And Fun Times”

"As the South Korean pop group embark on their first-ever world tour, we go backstage with band members Baekhyun, Taemin, Kai, Taeyong, Ten, Lucas and Mark to talk about their latest album.

There’s a cacophony coming from behind a door, backstage at their first world tour. SuperM are recording greetings for fans and media. “Hi, we are…” begins Baekhyun, the group’s unofficial-official leader. The six other members cheerfully join in… “SuperM!” The cadence isn’t quite right and Baekhyun’s cackle, as distinctive as his singing voice, rises above the boyish shouts of genial failure. They repeat the line so many times it seems plausible that if you ever woke one of them abruptly, they’d sit up and shout the phrase automatically.

SuperM are a bona fide K-pop supergroup, and like all supergroups, they’re not running to schedule. “We have to halve your time,” whispers a PR apologetically. SuperM’s greetings and gleaming smiles are casual and friendly, but little can distract from the extraordinary human wall of talent they present. Twenty-six-year-old Taemin, SHINee’s vocalist and legendary performer, sits between EXO’s Baekhyun, 27, and main dancer Kai, 26. Perched on a sofa behind them are members of SM Entertainment’s newer groups: WayV’s Ten, 24, and Lucas, 21, and NCT’s rappers Mark, 20, and Taeyong, 24.

From South Korea to the world

Last October, SuperM’s eponymous first EP entered the US album chart at number one, the cherry on top of a media blitz that included shutting down LA’s Vine Street to perform outside Capitol Records. They’re only the second South Korean group to have reached the top spot, but that was always part of the goal — their record label, SM Entertainment, put the US in the crosshairs and SuperM was going to be its golden bullet. But although NCT 127 (an NCT sub-unit) have been promoting themselves in the US, it’s the first time for Taemin, Baekhyun and Kai.

“It felt like re-debuting,” Taemin says. “The fact that we’re targeting different audiences felt like a new challenge we were all taking on.” With bleached blond hair and a delicate build that belies a robust physical strength, it’s not just Taemin’s seniority as an artist in SuperM’s ranks that makes everyone listen intently — his manner is assertive without being overbearing, and his earnestness has you believe you’re not just one more addition to a blurry, months-long line of interviewers. “We’ve grown together, we’ve gained confidence and it gets easier as we see the fans’ reactions. It’s fun; it’s working.”

It’s no secret that, in part, SuperM had their work cut out for them. Their union had Twitter fan groups up in arms, with calls for SM Entertainment to allow the members to concentrate on their respective groups or solo careers. When a hazy, distorted sliver of their debut single leaked, naysayers predicted a flop.

The single, Jopping, Taemin points out, showcases the label’s SM Performance dance project and in its fully remixed, remastered glory, it was a swaggering, audacious and riff-heavy bop that took itself as seriously as it didn’t. It was there to be danced to and though much of it was in English, its titanium-strong hooks refused to pander to western trends. SuperM’s style recalls the years before intricate concepts (such as EXO’s alien superpower origins story) came to cradle much of current K-pop. The album might revel in its layers of production, but it’s refreshingly escapist, and shifted 164,000 physical copies in its first week.

Breaking the stage, one continent at a time

With all this in mind, it’s unsurprising that one of Baekhyun’s goals is “for people to say only good things about SuperM”. Their fans, who’ve filled arenas in the US, Mexico and Europe, are noisily adoring and with good reason — SuperM’s stage show is compelling. Theirs is a punishing schedule — mid-interview, Taeyong is unable to smother an enormous yawn — but on stage, their energy lights up the cavernous space.

Choreographed numbers, such as I Can’t Stand The Rain, are mighty and aggressive. With You (a loose, routine-less chance to interact with the audience) and No Manners, where they slither around a simple elevated set, seem easy to emulate, but are completely reliant on mesmerising presence and cohesion. “There are so many different stages and performances at a SuperM concert,” says Taeyong, more matter-of-fact than boastful. “You’ll never get to see this chemistry or these members performing together [anywhere else].” Taemin adds: “The fans have shown so much support, and it pushes me to want to perform to even bigger audiences on an even larger scale.”

K-pop is relentlessly accused of being manufactured, with its performers supposedly just going through the motions, but SuperM subvert this idea with a warm spontaneity and rakishness on and off stage. They’re each other’s most fervent cheerleaders and bearers of the most merciless roasts — the atmosphere is more akin to a lads’ holiday than a multimillion-dollar music project. “Thank you for noticing that,” laughs Baekhyun, who puts it down to a “natural chemistry. If you saw us [just hanging out] you would get even more of that feeling!”"

Sailing pop’s high seas

Mark, who was born in Canada — funny, and wise beyond his years — likens SuperM to a ship. “When I practised with these guys, the energy I absorbed was actually very interesting,” he says. “The knowledge and experience is incomparable to anything we [younger members] have. It’s not a competition or anything — it’s something we learn from.

“Taemin would be the ship’s wheel,” he continues, happily developing his theme. “He knows the direction we want to go in. The EXO-hyungs [older males] have a lot of talent — they’d be the sail and that’s where we get the boost. NCT and WayV, we’re like the hull, holding the talent [together]. That’s a pretty cool ship,” Mark grins. SuperM’s concert visuals might well be having a subliminal effect on Mark: during Jopping, a pirate ship bobs across the huge screen behind them.

Thailand-born Ten, known for his quick wit, adds: “Taemin sees stuff very differently to us. [He thinks about] what kind of make-up or uniform [costume] we need to wear, and we’ve never thought about that before.”

The hyungs get a sense of vitality from their younger bandmates, although Taemin and Baekhyun scrunch their faces at the prospect of being old enough to need a top-up. “They’re the foundation for whenever we feel tired,” Baekhyun laughs.

Secret names

Off the back of touring, SuperM have developed a number of in-jokes and nicknames that, when asked about them, sets them off. “Lucas-tonkotsu?” mumbles Taemin with a sidelong smile, making Lucas — all long legs and big grin — double over. Mark slowly chants “B-A-E-K-hyung” which Baekhyun, the corners of his mouth curving upwards, tries to ignore. “There are secret names we like to call each other, but we want them to remain within the group,” he says. Mark nods, “Yeah, they’re just for us.”

Baekhyun raises his eyebrows and looks at his bandmates. “I love you!” he sing-songs with a smirk. Groans and laughter are the only replies.

NCT 127 e spm gonna make an asian tour together. Sperm will have a tour with Nct,This was SM’s plan from the beginning. EXO has the biggest fanbase in Asia,using two exo members to take that fanbase from EXO&make it NCT’s.Sperm was never created for EXO,Capitol might want it to collaborate but Sooman created this group for NcT.

2. Your parents/siblings/very close friends get offered a tour around europe with no cost for a month or so and they ask you to come w/ them. Considering your current status, what would you do? 

Well I’m graduating uni in a couple months so if we could go then, I would be very down! But I would also probably feel the anxiety of needing a job and financial stability throughout the whole trip rip Also I don’t think I could travel w/ my parents rn bc we did go to europe for a while this summer and although I love my them a lot, I would rather travel with my sister or my friends for the time being :)

MX IS HAVING THEIR M O M E N T RIGHT NOW  and korea needs to pay attention! LIKE THEY RELEASED THREE (2 KOREAN, 1 JAPANESE) ALBUMS THAT ARE A++ WITH BOMBASS MVS/TITLE TRACKS, PROMOTING THEMSELVES LITERALLY EVERYWHERE WITH THE WORLD TOUR AND NOW JINGLE BALL AND ARE DOING IT WITH SO MUCH ENTHUSIASM EVEN THOUGH THEY MUST BE SUPER EXHAUSTED FROM WORKING NONSTOP THIS YEAR. And not to be that person but seeing them last year and then this year in concert really hit it home for me how much they’ve improved as artists and performers (not that they were bad to begin with) so in an ideal world, I would give a big award to Monsta X ❤❤

Song of the Year- Shine by Pentagon (lol sorry cloud)

it was a debate btwn shine or love scenario for me but shine did a lot more for pentagon’s popularity and name recognition than love scenario for ikon i think (since ikon already had ~ikonic~ songs like my type, rhythm ta, etc). The song itself is cute and really easy to get stuck in your head but not in an annoying way?? Plus the choreo made the hammer dance a thing (at least in my mind) and the way it rose up on the korean charts was p cool :)

hmm i’m really curious how ppl do gfx actually..like they’re always so pretty and creative and i’m always in awe but i don’t think i have the artistic mind for it. Also, writing fics is also something I respect and lowkey wish I was good at (even tho I never tried lol) since I find the process of transmitting my thoughts onto paper really difficult and it takes me forever to write stuff in general

     hello, my friends ! it is i, lexi, ready to bring you the cringiest introduction ever ?! right HERE is her uglee pinterest ( because i suck at making boards ) and underneath the cut is just going to be a little crash course of this lil’ baby ! btw, i’m open to literally anything dramatic, angsty, or fluffy... i’ll do my best with plotting alskdjalkjd.

is that PARK SOOYOUNG ? no, silly, that’s AHN MINA ! they’re the TWENTY-ONE year old MAIN DANCER of KSYD. everyone says that they’re -FICKLE, and -PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE, but i think they’re really +DRIVEN and +UNDERSTANDING. their musical anthem is TOUCH by NCT 127. god, i can’t wait to see HER on tour !

she was born in the united states ( nyc... i’m thinking. this is subject to change ) and her father is an investment banker ! she lived there until she was eight and then her dad got a job back in korea again, so they moved back. this technically made her a first generation american ? tbh, her parents didn’t really ... need mina to have a ‘real’ job so they don’t mind her / support her being an idol ? she has an older brother though who is following the footsteps of her dad !

she’s been with the company since she was a freshman in high school ! i’d say that since she’s the visual of ksyd she got scouted on the streets first, but then as she got into training they realized she’s actually a really good dancer ? she had been doing dance for a while and sort of saw it as maybe her ticket back to america ( like to dance for university or something ) –– but it opened this door too and she’s pretty happy with it !

so, that being said she came to sonic when she was 14 years old and now she’s 21, so it’s been a solid 7 years ! she still graduated with her class and everything but she’s been around this ‘idol culture’ for such a long time that it’s sort of engrained in her she thinks ? like it makes her very insecure about herself because she’s always just been comparing herself to others and such.

although she’s Soft, she wouldn’t say she’s ever experienced the bubblegum, lovey-dovey things that ksyd probably sings about ? the only way she gets romantic experience is through the romcoms she watches... Rip !

okay this is where things start to get juicy ! and probably... really meh. i’ll try and keep it as short as possible

mina’s an extremely hard worker to the point where she can get tunnel vision sometimes, but in the beginning she was literally doing anything she could to make her debut and for a while she really thought that she was going to debut with valkyrie, but ultimately they decided she was a little too young and a little too soft ! it broke her heart because she got a little taste of it, but didn’t quite cross the finish line. she decided to take it as something that would continue to motivate her further

she began to lose hope for a while because it didn’t seem like sonic was coming out with any other groups that she seemed to fit. to her, it seemed like she was working so hard, but not with a lot of gain ? when ksyd came around, she was really ... thanking the heavens ! if you want to know more about this just ask alkdjalksjd. i just figured it could create some really interesting connections with her.

anyway, she knew that she was going to be the main dancer for the group and dancing is definitely what she was strongest in ( i wouldn’t say that she’s a bad singer, i would say that her voice is unique ), so when her spot was solidified it was as if something had been lifted off her shoulders. ( in case you couldn’t tell, it has practically become her life by now... oops ! someone give her a break ).

a little headcanon that may or may not work is that they didn’t decide on the visual right away ? so mina worked hard on dieting and staying in shape to give herself the best shot at getting another important role in the group ( since she’s been with the company... seven years now... ). when they finally told her that she was going to be the visual, she felt hella Validated ( but she still feels a lot of pressure and can definitely be insecure )

okay this stuff really isn’t as important but it’s a cute little facet to her. her favourite accessories are rings and necklaces. she remembers that her mother not only wore her wedding band, but also these other pieces of jewelry that would perfectly accent whatever she was wearing. she loves stacked rings and simple necklaces. the girl cares abt her fashion !

🍓🥛Nct 127- Confessing🥛🍓

A/N: The blurbs below are just my opinions. I could be incredibly far off for reality but I think it was a cute little blurb and I thoroughly enjoyed writing it. If you would like to see Nct 21 please click here.

t a e y o n g(태용): Taeyong seems like someone who tries to meticulously plan things out before acting upon anything.He would probably get to know you first and slowly become friends with you, getting to know all of your interests and dislikes. Taeyong(태용) would love to take you for a wonderful date and would try to convince you to go to a super expensive(비쌉니다) restaurant. However, his plans were thwarted when he forgot to make a reservation(예약). Instead he would take you to all of the well-known street food places and you two would enjoy a night out in Hongdae(훙대). When he brought you home he would confess and it would feel like a weight was lifted off his shoulders.

t a e i l(태일): It has been said that he is one of the quieter members, which could mean he is just really shy(수줍어하는). Cutie! Taeil(태일) might have a hard time openly confessing to you. That being said, he would still make an effort to show his feelings for you. Less through words and more through subtle actions. For example, he notices that you don’t have a pen and gets you a box of pens in your favorite color. Or you mention that you’re hungry(배가 고픈) and he buys you food(음식) and attaches a sweet note(메모) to it. Eventually you start to add up all the generous things he has done and ask him about it. It is then that he would more than likely confess his feelings bashfully(수줍게).

j o h n n y(영호): Yeongho is not a shy guy!The two of you would  have been friends(친구들) for a while so the atmosphere between the two of you was very relaxed. After a night of drinking and eating Korean BBQ(고기구이), Johnny would have dragged you to one of the nearby karaoke bars(노래방). After many rounds of Twice(트와이스), SNSD(소녀시대) and Shinee(샤이니) songs Yeongho would ask you to close your eyes. Reluctantly you did until you heard Taemin’s “Move” playing.  Johnny would put everything he had into the song and would flirtatiously smile at you throughout the song. Directly after finishing the song, Johnny asks to take you on a proper date.

y u t a(유타): Yuta and you had been planning to hang out when he got back from touring. It was going to be a day filled with shopping(쇼핑) and eating(먹는), and when the day came you threw on your favorite outfit and met him at the mall(쇼핑몰). The two of you were so excited, you hardly noticed that the outfits you two had picked out looked like a couple’s outfit(커플룩) until an employee asked if you were looking for matching shirts. Yuta(유타) died laughing while a blush appeared on your face as you tried to laugh off the slight embarrassment. Throughout the day, Yuta and you had taken some amazing pictures(사진들) together. While trying on a pair of shoes(신발) you found interesting, Yuta was looking through the pictures you had taken and simply stated, “We would make a great couple.(우리는 멋진 커플이 될 거야.)” You looked up from putting on your shoe and stared at him for a minute before he flashed you his healing smile and hugged you, moving on to looking at another pair of shoes to try on.

d o y o u n g(도영):The whole day had been a mess. It started with Doyoung picking you up from your apartment(아파트)/house(집) and the two of you walking to a nearby cafe(카페). On the way there, Doyoung accidentally is staring at you and is slowly walking closer and closer until he bumps into you, knocking you to the ground. You laugh it off, telling him to watch where he is going, but this sends Doyoung into a full panic. When you get to the cafe and place your drink on the table Doyoung tries to pull out your chair(의자) so you can sit down but he pulls it too far causing you to almost fall. This leads you to asking him if he is feeling alright while laughing. As you continue talking about how everything was while he was away on tour he was texting Johnny and asking him for some advice. Of course, Johnny(쟈니) tells Doyoung to just relax and not think too much about it. When he finally looked up from his phone, you had turned to look at the other pastries the cafe offered. He noticed you had a crumb(부스러기) on the side of your face but just as he went to wipe it off you had turned your head causing him to accidentally hit you. Doyoung’s face drops to the table and he says, “This isn’t a good first date is it?(이것은 좋지 않은 첫 데이트에요?)” Your eyes go wide and he looks up and says, “Of course, it’s only a first date if you want it to be!(물론, 네가 원한다면 그건 첫 데이트일 뿐이야!)”

j a e h y u n(재현): He radiates hopeless romantic vibes, therefore I feel as though confessing to you would be as easy as drinking water for him. However, he doesn’t want to just simply confess, he wants it to be special!Expect flowers(꽃들), cards and maybe even chocolate(초콜릿).  Jaehyun would call you one morning and tell you to get ready! The whole day would be spent visiting a cute cafe(귀여운 카페), where the two of you would eat pastries and drink coffee(커피). The next stop would be this cute museum(귀여운 박물관) where they let you take pictures! And finally, Jaehyun would bring you to this small restaurant(작은 식당) that had an intimate atmosphere. When you two left the restaurant he would ask,“So did you enjoy our day together? Do you want to do this more often? Because I do!(그래서 우리 함께 즐거운 하루를 보냈지? 너는 이것을 더 자주 하고 싶니? 왜냐하면 내가 하기 때문이다!)”

w i n w i n(윈윈): This soft boi would be a blushing mess around you. I think instead of directly telling you he would make it obvious through his actions. He would occasionally bring you ice cream(아이스크림), especially when you were studying/working(공부/일하기), and would constantly sneak glances over at you when you aren’t looking. Slowly he would start to build up some courage(용기) and the next time he brought you ice cream, he would say, “Maybe next time we could go to this ice cream shop that just opened up.(아마 다음번에는 막 개업한 아이스크림 가게에 갈 수 있을 거야.)”

j u n g w o o(정우): Everyone knows how affectionate this cutie(귀염둥이) is with his members. Therefore, I think he may be 10X more affectionate(다정한) toward those he likes or has a crush on. Whenever he sees you he greets you with hugs(포옹) (as long as you’re okay with it of course!) and has a huge smile(웃음) plastered on his face. He constantly compliments your pictures and always just shows so much interest whenever you talk. One day when you guys are just relaxing(긴장을 풀고 있다), he would be staring at you. When you finally noticed he would just ask you out as if it was a normal ordeal. It would seem so random and casual, but it would be such a big deal for him.

m a r k(마크): Mark would most definitely be at practice or at the studio(스튜디오). When he finally took a break he would text you and snapchat you a lot. That being said, Haechan(해찬) being Haechan would love to bother him about his crush on you. While Mark went off to continue practicing, Haechan took his phone(전화) and asked you out for Mark. At first Mark would be mad, but that would soon subside when he thought of how long he had waited to ask you himself.

200315 K-Pop Supergroup SuperM On Friendship, Fans And Fun Times

As the South Korean pop group embark on their first-ever world tour, we go backstage with band members Baekhyun, Taemin, Kai, Taeyong, Ten, Lucas and Mark to talk about their latest album.

There’s a cacophony coming from behind a door, backstage at their first world tour. SuperM are recording greetings for fans and media. “Hi, we are…” begins Baekhyun, the group’s unofficial-official leader. The six other members cheerfully join in… “SuperM!” The cadence isn’t quite right and Baekhyun’s cackle, as distinctive as his singing voice, rises above the boyish shouts of genial failure. They repeat the line so many times it seems plausible that if you ever woke one of them abruptly, they’d sit up and shout the phrase automatically.

SuperM are a bona fide K-pop supergroup, and like all supergroups, they’re not running to schedule. “We have to halve your time,” whispers a PR apologetically. SuperM’s greetings and gleaming smiles are casual and friendly, but little can distract from the extraordinary human wall of talent they present. Twenty-six-year-old Taemin, SHINee’s vocalist and legendary performer, sits between EXO’s Baekhyun, 27, and main dancer Kai, 26. Perched on a sofa behind them are members of SM Entertainment’s newer groups: WayV’s Ten, 24, and Lucas, 21, and NCT’s rappers Mark, 20, and Taeyong, 24.

From South Korea to the world

Last October, SuperM’s eponymous first EP entered the US album chart at number one, the cherry on top of a media blitz that included shutting down LA’s Vine Street to perform outside Capitol Records. They’re only the second South Korean group to have reached the top spot (BTS being the first), but that was always part of the goal — their record label, SM Entertainment, put the US in the crosshairs and SuperM was going to be its golden bullet. But although NCT 127 (an NCT sub-unit) have been promoting themselves in the US, it’s a first time for Taemin, Baekhyun and Kai.

“It felt like re-debuting,” Taemin says. “The fact that we’re targeting different audiences felt like a new challenge we were all taking on.” With bleached blond hair and a delicate build that belies a robust physical strength, it’s not just Taemin’s seniority as an artist in SuperM’s ranks that makes everyone listen intently — his manner is assertive without being overbearing, and his earnestness has you believe you’re not just one more addition to a blurry, months-long line of interviewers. “We’ve grown together, we’ve gained confidence and it gets easier as we see the fans’ reactions. It’s fun; it’s working.”

It’s no secret that, in part, SuperM had their work cut out for them. Their union had Twitter fan groups up in arms, with calls for SM Entertainment to allow the members to concentrate on their respective groups or solo careers. When a hazy, distorted sliver of their debut single leaked, naysayers predicted a flop.

The single, Jopping, Taemin points out, showcases the label’s SM Performance dance project and in its fully remixed, remastered glory, it was a swaggering, audacious and riff-heavy bop that took itself as seriously as it didn’t. It was there to be danced to and though much of it was in English, its titanium-strong hooks refused to pander to western trends. SuperM’s style recalls the years before intricate concepts (such as EXO’s alien superpower origins story) came to cradle much of current K-pop. The album might revel in its layers of production, but it’s refreshingly escapist, and shifted 164,000 physical copies in its first week.

Breaking the stage, one continent at a time

With all this in mind, it’s unsurprising that one of Baekhyun’s goals is “for people to say only good things about SuperM”. Their fans, who’ve filled arenas in the US, Mexico and Europe, are noisily adoring and with good reason — SuperM’s stage show is compelling. Theirs is a punishing schedule — mid-interview, Taeyong is unable to smother an enormous yawn — but on stage, their energy lights up the cavernous space.

Choreographed numbers, such as I Can’t Stand The Rain, are mighty and aggressive. With You (a loose, routine-less chance to interact with the audience) and No Manners, where they slither around a simple elevated set, seem easy to emulate, but are completely reliant on mesmerising presence and cohesion. “There are so many different stages and performances at a SuperM concert,” says Taeyong, more matter-of-fact than boastful. “You’ll never get to see this chemistry or these members performing together [anywhere else].” Taemin adds: “The fans have shown so much support, and it pushes me to want to perform to even bigger audiences on an even larger scale.”

K-pop is relentlessly accused of being manufactured, with its performers supposedly just going through the motions, but SuperM subvert this idea with a warm spontaneity and rakishness on and off stage. They’re each other’s most fervent cheerleaders and bearers of the most merciless roasts — the atmosphere is more akin to a lads’ holiday than a multimillion-dollar music project. “Thank you for noticing that,” laughs Baekhyun, who puts it down to a “natural chemistry. If you saw us [just hanging out] you would get even more of that feeling!”

Sailing pop’s high seas

Mark, who was born in Canada — funny, and wise beyond his years — likens SuperM to a ship. “When I practised with these guys, the energy I absorbed was actually very interesting,” he says. “The knowledge and experience is incomparable to anything we [younger members] have. It’s not a competition or anything — it’s something we learn from.

“Taemin would be the ship’s wheel,” he continues, happily developing his theme. “He knows the direction we want to go in. The EXO-hyungs [older males] have a lot of talent — they’d be the sail and that’s where we get the boost. NCT and WayV, we’re like the hull, holding the talent [together]. That’s a pretty cool ship,” Mark grins. SuperM’s concert visuals might well be having a subliminal effect on Mark: during Jopping, a pirate ship bobs across the huge screen behind them.

Thailand-born Ten, known for his quick wit, adds: “Taemin sees stuff very differently to us. [He thinks about] what kind of make-up or uniform [costume] we need to wear, and we’ve never thought about that before.”

The hyungs get a sense of vitality from their younger bandmates, although Taemin and Baekhyun scrunch their faces at the prospect of being old enough to need a top-up. “They’re the foundation for whenever we feel tired,” Baekhyun laughs.

Secret names

Off the back of touring, SuperM have developed a number of in-jokes and nicknames that, when asked about them, sets them off. “Lucas-tonkotsu?” mumbles Taemin with a sidelong smile, making Lucas — all long legs and big grin — double over. Mark slowly chants “B-A-E-K-hyung” which Baekhyun, the corners of his mouth curving upwards, tries to ignore. “There are secret names we like to call each other, but we want them to remain within the group,” he says. Mark nods, “Yeah, they’re just for us.”

Baekhyun raises his eyebrows and looks at his bandmates. “I love you!” he sing-songs with a smirk. Groans and laughter are the only replies.
