Milka's diary: **We moved to Willow Creek... I kinda miss rainy Brindleton Bay, but it’s not too bad here. Oh, and while I wasn’t jotting things down in my little diary, something else happened — Kris and I finally made our dream come true: we completely overhauled our wardrobe, and now we look like a walking vintage closet, he-he. Anyway, Bess and Pancho are doing just fine, and their kids are with their parents — they’re probably even happier there. I just hope our new neighbors are decent people. Ugh, this paranoia of mine...

Sometimes I swear Pancake, our neighbor, has it out for me. She gives me these looks, like I’ve done something to annoy her. Kris says I’m just overthinking it, okay, fine... Tomorrow’s our wedding anniversary, so Kris and I are hitting up this club nearby. It looks like it’s been around since Willow Creek was founded — super basic, but whatever. You won’t believe what an amazing date Kris and I had in Ravenwood! 😍 We were standing by the lake, near a bench, sharing a box of chocolates. Everything was perfect... until Kris dropped one. You know how he is — always a little clumsy, but that’s what makes him even cuter. I was embarrassed for a second, but then I realized that’s exactly why I adore him. He’s just... real. No pretenses, no masks — just Kris, who might drop a chocolate but still make your day perfect. 💖

And Ravenwood... it’s just magical! The atmosphere here, especially by the lake, is so cozy. The quiet, the nature, and just the two of us. I can already imagine us walking around here with Lunella, showing her everything, while she laughs and reaches out to the water and those beautiful trees. She’d love it here! 🌳🌸
