I may be pressing the issue a bit, but what is still happening in our society (the double standard) the Racism, Hating & Bullying just has to end. For instance, here's one of my favorite Male Pop Artist right now. He's someone I do follow on social media because I admire his talent & songwriting skills & he's a Berklee Grad. He's massively successful with a huge listenership & support base. He recently posted this on Tiktok. I just have to wonder if he gets the type of "Hate" msgs like the one I got yesterday on Tiktok. Why do I even bother you may ask. Well, because I don't feel he does. Why? Because he doesn't look like me. He's not a PoC, but idk prolly came from "White Privilege". I nvr met him, but most likely he did. Berklee is not cheap to attend. Let me just put it that way to be freakin' real. I know it's trendy now for men to wear nail polish. But quite frankly, I wore nail polish back in the day, before such trends were even popular. It's not Adam Lambert @adamlambert. I love his work, talent, & courage. I wonder if he gets hate mail idk. We both grew up in SD. Most likely from very different backgrounds & areas. I'm just breaking out, but will I need a bodyguard like my little cuz Dylan Jacobs @dylanjacobs, when my debut album Rebirth does drop idk. Our society & country really needs to seriously address the continuing "Hate" & "Harassment" of PoC &/or anyone in the LGBTQ community. We can't stay complacent or silent. These social despairities should nvr be left unaccounted or accepted as, "Well it is what it is" as #45 previously has said to the American Public. President Biden is right by saying, "It's not going to be easy, but there is nothing America can't do; if we do it together.". I'll get down off my soapbox & begin focusing on what matters. For me, that's being: a good person, staying positive, making music, & trying to leave a positive footprint & make a difference in this world!
