hello, I'm transguy who's on diy T for two months because transitioning banned in my country, I wanted to ask what blood analysis I should do for my first check up(next month) to know that I'm not in danger? sending love
hello, thank you for taking the time to send this ask, i appreciate it. this is something i need to be educated on as well, so i'm going to try to ask the community for help for you as much as i can
i would say be careful. we do want you to get bloodwork to make sure that your blood pressure is okay, your liver enzymes, your red blood cell count, making sure your levels aren't too high or too low. i do worry that asking for a test may alert them to your situation and potentially out you as trans to them. however, what i would say in your situation is to tell them you have naturally high testosterone and avoid the HRT question for now. you need the care
asking for anon, please help if you live in a country where transition is illegal and you are DIYing transition with hormones:
how do you think its safest to go about asking for tests that cover these specific areas? hrt affects very specific parts of the body and our various systems. we need to make sure that there is a focus on your red blood cell count, your blood pressure, your liver enyzmes, your estrogen levels as well (they may be too high). is there a way to ask for this test that doesn't mention hormone levels?
we want to ensure your safety. i don't know if it's illegal for doctors to out you for these kinds of things. push comes to shove you can ask for certain tests if you tell a gynecologist or other doctor that you feel like something is wrong with your hormone levels, or that youre having issues with certain things like facial hair, fucked up menstrual cycles, and so on. i'm not sure how safe it would be to outright ask for the test but we also want to ensure your safety. i'd love to get feedback from people who live in countries where it is illegal to transition but have done so anyway. i want you to be safe
please let us know if you can give anon help. we really want to learn about this. i can only speak from my experience because i live in america in a state where it is legal to do so. there are states in the US where it isn't legal to transition, so if any of you have experience with this please let us know as well. there are unfortunately many places in the world where transition the healthiest way isn't accessible.
please feel free to send asks if you have information on this. for now, take care anon, stay safe. you are more than welcome to ask any more questions you may have

holy shit, mra, against dyi hrt, pick a fucking struggle
my brother/sister/enby in christ , diy hormones exp testosterone can be harmful , it's even harmful to pepole that produce them naturally , for example i strained tendons several times because testosterone does cause tendon stifness , so yeah hormones aren't to be played lightly , they modify your body and can cause health problem , so since i care about pepole i don't want them to face serius health problems because of DIY stuff , it is not somenthing i want to be responsable of ...
and men deserve to have dignity , such as not having your friends throw you on the ground while you have a broken leg , and slap you until someone with some sense comes and stops that ... ( one of my male class mates endured this ) and in regular feminist talk , that is nothing , because it was cis men being horrible towards other cis men , and i guess caring about that is being an MRA , or smt idk ...
like seriusly what is the issue with wanting to tear down the patriarchy also because men suffer under it ?
is doing the right thing for reasons you don't care enough problematic now ?
i guess an anon on tumblr has problems with caring about pepole and not wanting them to be harmed it would seem ...
they also didn't feel confident enough in their convictions to talk outside of anonimity , as if me being a men makes me some dangerous creature ...
i had enough internet for today ...

Me talking about the tv show because I just finished my rewatch & I’m absolutely obsessed yet again
Aka a viewing guide
Spoiler warning
Sorry this is so long omg- I probably forgot so much too
Pilot:
Honestly the only true plot that interested me was Tim Shepard & Tim Shepard only. Steve’s care was pretty cool. Some dope Stevepop moments. Nice tarry content. Just nice Darry content over all. Dallas’s scene in the beginning keeps sending me thoughjskakfk
Ep 1:
Honestly I hate hate hate what they did to Sodapop’s character I absolutely hate it. They did him so freaking dirty. But we love pro choice Steve & Two Bit was also pretty scrumptious in this episode as well. I dislike this episode. It’s a no for me.
Ep 2:
This one is smack full of delicious tarry content for everyone to gobble on. Darry is absolutely scrumptious and I love the whole dynamic between him and Tim. I, again, hate soda in this episode. I hate him so much it’s unreal. Why is he like that. But I do love the way they did Buck so oh well. Kinda sad about the lack of Stevie.
Ep 3:
Definitely my favorite episode because iykyk. Steve is just absolutely scrumptious omg they really did a musical episode huh. And that song was really a banger huh. And he really had to look that good? Also Two but was absolutely scrumptious. The whole greaser band was a damn treat I wish we got more off. I will not be addressing the Ponyboy situation because no. Disgusting. Absolutely vile & perverted. No thank you & never again. But omg I cannot describe to you how amazing the band is guys ugh I cannot I cannot they are so cute & I want more content pronto. Also the bonding between Darry & Buck was kinda cute too. Like dar has a bit of a father figure again, it’s sweet.
Ep 4:
Pony is a damn flipping idiot. Wtf is he thinking. Like. Why. Why would he ever do that in a million years. Steve though, was looking fine again. And rip Soda even though he doesn’t die. I think Pony & Soda both nearly dying in this episode is so funny. Also kinda ooc of Darry? Like? Hospital bills are a deal ton and he is just gonna roll it off? Steve was more like Darry than Darry. Probably cause his boyfriends was dyi-
Ep 5:
We will not be addressing Tim & Cherry. Never. But omg. The tarry again guys the tarry omg I died. They’re so domestic & for what?? Also why is Pony such a moody little crap. I hate him in this because he cannot make up his little hormonal mind for a second. Also why can’t they put pants on? The lack of Two & Steve was very sad but ig the tarry vibes can make up for it. Idk what the brothers were on though agreeing to all that-
Ep 6:
A very close second favorite omg. I love the exploration of both Two and Pony’s friendship & the friendship between Steve and Darry. The scene was short but I really loved the dialogue between Steve & Darry. I think this was the one episode they tried (poorly) to give Steve the spot light & ehh. I love him & I loved hearing more about his dad & his relationship with his dad but there should’ve been more idc. I think the whole fact they all idolize old dead white men is a tad weird. But two’s speech on Elvis was the highlight of the episode by far omg. I just think Steve & Darry were idiots for continuing to work but it produced good content ig. Poor Darry though rip almost lol. I loved the Steve plot line of it all even if it was smaller than hoped for.
Ep 7:
Forking hate this episode. It adds absolutely nothing to the plot besides defiling Soda’s character even further. I think it was a poor poor attempted at ‘omg let’s all get along lol’ but came off incredibly racist & umm. It was an uncomfortable watch that is for sure. Honestly I plan on skipping this episode on my next rewatch it really isn’t worth the time imo. It’s just. Weird.
Ep 8:
Every time I think about this episode I think it could be my favorite hdjskkd but idk. I absolutely freaking adorable the tarry & how they both protect each other. Please they are literally on a date. Soda is an absolute idiot but we know that. Steve was by far superior in this episode & he was a fine specimen too omg they Hawaiian shirt did wonders. Also Stevebit??? Omg please the way they blatantly flirted was so freaking fruity. Darry being a hero & saying the day in an epic way because again, Soda is a complete moron. Idk. Jewel was kinda vibey but Pony was good as well in this episode. Omg this is long but Tim & his parole officer sent me to the moon omg I see why Darry was crushing so hard.
Ep 9:
Ahhhh the two bit centric episode we all needed! I liked seeing how the stayed pretty close & true to his character, besides the drinking. It was fun & nice to learn more about him & his family aside from him just being a wise crack & I think both Pony & Steve saw that. That’s why they both helped him out. & I especially love the way the whole gang stood up for him in the end omg Tim Shepard was scrumptious but isn’t he always. I just love seeing more of two bit & his life & friendships outside the gang. However the scene with Sodapop was absolutely hilarious in an odd way- weirdo boyfriends. Also. Tim borrowing Darry’s suit is by far so tarry & I love them. Tim’s character exploration was also scrumptious in this episode.
Ep 10:
OK BUT- ok but this one also might be my favorite JSKSKKS I’m just gonna keep saying it. Two & Steve are absolutely complete asshole boyfriends. Especially Steve. The energy between two & Steve & soda is absolutely off the charts. Sodapop definitely lost his mind a little bit & I still don’t understand how Buck rationalized his decisions. Pony was just having the time of his life it was so funny. I feel bad for Darry omg it was his birthday & he was stuck being the responsible adult for a loaf of dumb ass kids. But honestly. Soda. You idiot. I know I should feel bad for you. But that sucked. How could you believe that. Buck too. Steve & Two are such fruity cuties though riding around, pranking, smooching, scheming together. Also, steve can draw & is musical? Ok king am I you or are you more attractive that I thought awooga woo
Ep 11:
Haven’t rewatched it yet, will update with I do. Kinda homophobic that it’s missing the first part.
Ep 12:
Also will update when I rewatch

There’s a trans girl in the outer rims of my social circles who’s also a drug addict. She’s had a shitty life so far, dysphoria is a bitch, and she uses drugs as a way to escape that. She tried to get clean a few times, but it doesn’t stick, because sober life sucks big time for her.
But to transition here you need to be clean. Like, no one even considers helping you transition, if you’re not clean. So basically, she’d need to transition for her life to suck less so getting clean would be easier, but she needs to be clean to transition. Which means she was stuck in a loop on being miserable about not managing to get anything done to make her life better, which led to her taking more drugs.
Me and some other people tried to keep her out of trouble for a while, but it was no use. The best we could do was getting her to trust us enough to tell us which drugs she was using, so in case something went wrong we’d be able to tell the doctors. Sometimes I’d make her help me cook at the self organized non-profit place we both went to and told he how very helpful she was and how great she was doing. That seemed to help a little bit now and then and at least gave her something to do that wasn’t getting wasted.
At some point we had a discussion. We all knew dyi hormones isn’t the safest thing, but is it less safe then taking a cocktail of drugs you buy from shady people on the streets?
So someone got her black market estrogen and made sure she won’t run out.
I talked to her today. She’s doing better, actually managing to get close to getting clean (it’s not easy, with some of the drugs she’s taking, withdrawl can actually kill you if you’re not careful). She has a girlfriend now. She seems to have actual plans for her future.
It’s almost like telling people to get clean before you help them is a really shitting idea if you want to get them off drugs. Who would’ve thought

Lots of Love Day 6: Spa Day Everyday
self care acts
I don’t know about you, but after digging deep this past week with our Lots of Love Challenge, I need a little TLC (you can still get in on our Lots of Love Challenge that’s filled with guidance to love yourself unconditionally both inside and out!) And TBH, pampering ourselves is a MUST-do every day. Something as easy as taking a few moments to relax with a face mask can reset our psyche for the rest of the day.
You’re gonna love our DYI facemask recipes that use all-natural ingredients that you likely already have in your fridge, like oatmeal, eggs, honey and yogurt—and even cocoa! Yum. Our DIY facemasks are so hydrating, calming and sooooothing, you’re gonna def have glowy skin–and also glow from within.
I’ll admit. Getting out of our emotional comfort zone can get kinda rough! Some of us have been unearthing some deeply buried emotional stuff, but remember… it’s a process–for our body and our minds. We need to take the time to create little luxuries along the way to reach the finish line. Take it slow, because as we all know, slow and steady wins the race.
Girl, I can’t say this enough: Self care truly needs to be an Every Day Thing; It’s tempting to be the superwoman production machine you’ve been. But it’s time to change direction and sked a little time for yourself on the daily. You are just as important as all the sh*t you need to get done.
OK so real life: This is hard. And it’s hard on your skin. So many studies have shown how stress negatively affects your skin’s water retention, i.e. causing dry skin. According to dermatology experts, chronic stress creates continuous increased levels of hormones that can have negative effects on our skin health. So in addition to exercise and eating right (Have you tried our Hot Body Meal Plan yet? It can change your life by helping you focus more on nutrition), creating an at-home spa experience can help give you a place to decompress. And let’s face it, blotchy patchy skin isn’t exactly a great look. So go ahead and slather this gooey goodness all over your beautiful face and trust us, you’ll feel better and minimize some pores along the way. Let’s say yes to self care acts not just today, but everyday!

6 Bedroom Design Ideas for Getting Better Sleep
While getting better sleep often involves adopting a few healthy habits, your bedroom design also plays a role. Setting your sleep space up for a better night’s sleep is easily achieved through a few simple techniques.
Check out these ideas for transforming your bedroom into an inviting sleep sanctuary to escape from the daily stresses of life, and melt away into total relaxation.
Bedroom Design: Start with Feeling and a Purpose
You know the key purposes for your bedroom: relax, sleep and recharge. Therefore, your bedroom design should capture this overall feeling with a space that feels comfortable and inviting. Create a space that entices you to crawl into bed.
The first thing you need to do is cut the chaos. If your bedroom performs double duty as an office, it’s time to clear out the computer and paperwork. If this is impossible, make it so it can be hidden away – out of sight out of mind. A desk with a roll cover or within a cabinet works well for this. Ditto goes for children’s toys. This is your sanctuary, and your chance to unwind your body and mind.
Banishing the television also offers perks. Most late night programming stimulates, rather than relaxing. News can create stress and anxiety, and entertaining shows suck you in. The light itself also affects melatonin signaling. Better solutions? Curling up with a book and dimmer lighting, listening to relaxing music, or listening to an e-book.
Some of the most popular bedroom design styles are mid-century modern (using clean lines and solid colors); edgy glam (think bold and upscale); and transitional (a mixture of different styles like contemporary and rustic). Create an inspiration board online or from magazines to see what styles, colors and fabrics will contribute for your perfect escape.
Make the Bed a Focal Piece
Draw attention to the bed as the functional anchor piece for the room. Your eyes should immediately gravitate to the bed as it invites you in.
Considering the amount of time you spend sleeping, a good mattress is one of the most important pieces of furniture to invest in. (Time for a new one? Take a look at our guide to the best bed brands in 2020).
If your partner moves or you sleep on different schedules, make sure your mattress rates high in motion isolation so that their movements do not wake you. Swap mattresses every 8 – 10 years or when they no longer feel comfortable, and pillows every 18-24 months.
The most comforting material for sheets and bedspreads are natural fabrics, such as cotton or bamboo. Satins and flannels are pretty, but lack the breathability of other fabrics and won’t be as effective as wicking away moisture throughout the night. Even in the winter, you don’t want to wake up sweaty.
Plush bedspreads prove ideal in the cooler months, but swap bulky duvets for a lighter cover when temperatures warm up. Cooler temperatures are best for sleep, so you don’t want to be fighting with a hot bed at night. One smart option is layering a light duvet with a coverlet or blanket at the foot of the bed in case it gets chilly.
For a frame and headboard, go simple, solid or as elaborate as you wish. If you are crafty, the headboard and accent pillows are good places to showcase your DYI skills. But, try to keep frilly bed pillows to a minimum — less is more in bedroom design and they can get in the way.
Finally, make your bed daily so you can easily slip into a world of relaxation and calmness at the end of the day. And, don’t forget to wash those sheets and pillowcases regularly (experts suggest every one to two weeks at a minimum).
If you are going to design a kid’s bedroom then this cannot be done without a right bed and right mattress for kids. Follow the given tips for your child’s room as well.
Choose Colors that Soothe
There are a few different directions you can go with color when it comes to bedroom design. It’s thought that shades and hues have some effect on our senses, with certain colors inspiring energy and others calm.
A soft, muted palette of light colors remains one of the more preferred options. These include soft greys, whites, light blues and greens. These colors generally inspire calm and relaxation.
If you like a bolder, more passionate bedroom, think deep, rich hues. These are best reflected in accent wall colors, thick rugs, and plush bedding. Both bold modern and eastern-influenced design schemes tend to apply here, with deep purples and reds, rich blues, golds and silvers and lots of texture or velvety fabrics.
Whatever direction you decided to choose, ensure that the color and style separates your bedroom from the rest of the house. It should immediately set the tone for rest, with all attention focused on the bed.
Double Duty Details
The accessories and secondary furniture you choose serves to complement the overall design. It may also play double duty to helping you get a good night sleep.
Blackout curtains help keep light out while adding to the ambience of the room. These can range from heavy velvets to stunning satins and every style in between. Long drapes add a touch of elegance, and also let you sleep in peace until the alarm rings.
Look for attractive objects, such as a gorgeous potted plant or unique vases to replace the television and computer that you should have taken out of your room by now! With fresh plants, you have the added boost of air-cleansing oxygen. With electronics, you might find yourself staying up later than intended and missing valuable shuteye. Avoid noisy clocks or ones with glowing numbers.
If you need additional air circulation, look for a fan for the floor or side table, or install a ceiling fan that complements your décor. Create a tropical feel with a wicker bladed ceiling fan, go vintage with a small antique side table fan, even modern with a tower fan. If you tend to have dust issues, opt for one with a filtration system to keep your air fresh.
Fans can also help with noise reduction, as your hearing gets more acute when you are in a quiet room. A white noise or sleep machine also make smart bedroom partners in noisier locales.
Lighting Softens the Mood
Lighting plays an understandably important role of your bedroom. It should help to create a mood and ambiance that promote relaxation. It also serves important physiological functions with the regulation of your internal clock and the production of melatonin – the hormone that helps you fall asleep.
It’s best to have lighting options other than bright, glaring overhead bulbs. By installing dimmer switches, or having dim reading lamps by your bed for a lower lighting option, you will signal to your internal clock that it is time to wind down and sleep. For a more romantic feel, try a small chandelier. Ideally, look for bulbs in the yellow to reddish hues and avoid blue, brighter hues.
When it comes to sleep time though, your room needs to be dark. If you need to arise in the night, avoid turning on bright lights. Instead use a small flashlight, or baseboard level nightlights. Some nightlights filter out the blue frequency of light that prevents melatonin production; possibly helpful if you tend to get up often.
Scents
Essential oils such as lavender and ylang-ylang help with a relaxation response in the large muscle groups. Studies have found that pleasant smells like lavender promote relaxation and rose was even shown to promote more peaceful dreams.
Make sure no trash, food, plates or dirty clothing is lingering in your bedroom come bedtime. Try a DIY room spray, put a few drops on your pillow, or place an essential oil diffuser on your side table to recreate a spa like experience.

How to Prevent Wrinkles – Expert Advice
The skin is an organ that constantly renews itself. The rate of renewal of skin cells slows down with time. In this article, Dr. J. Shetty providing you the expert advise about how to prevent wrinkles and delay the skin ageing through using natural ingredients and healthy lifestyle. Aging is linked to impaired cell repair mechanisms. Internal factors such as hormones play an important role in skin aging. Receptors of skin cells (keratinocytes, fibroblasts) lose, over time their ability to process the hormonal inputs necessary for their development. The decrease in hormonal activity further accentuates skin aging.
External factors related to the environment and hygiene of life are strongly involved in the acceleration of skin aging. Sun and tobacco can weaken skin cells: they become more fragile multiplies less easily.
While anti-aging medicine delays the body and skin effects of aging, the speed of appearance of these signs is therefore strongly linked to sun exposure since childhood and tobacco consumption.
THE EFFECTS OF THE SUN ON SKIN AGING
The sun is useful to health for its anti-rickets action related to UVB (UVB stimulates the synthesis of vitamin D in the skin). The sun is the first enemy of the youth of the skin.
The danger of ultraviolet rays from the sun is known. Under the effect of ultra-violets, skin cells become fragile and can no longer make a quality “fabric”. Under the effect of UV the skin is stiffer, thinner, less resistant. The body accumulates the effects of UV over the years. Skin aging will depend on the total dose of photons received and natural resistance of each.
EFFECTS OF TOBACCO ON SKIN AGING
Tobacco significantly accelerates the aging of the skin. Clinical studies have shown that tobacco is an independent factor of skin aging. Studies show the importance of the dose of tobacco. Women would be more affected. These effects are dissociated from solar exposure and are enhanced by UV.
The Effects of Smoking are Multiple:
Alteration of the basic structures of the dermis (hyaluronic acid) cause poor elastin production,
Decreased water in the stratum corneum,
Decrease in collagen synthesis by assignment of connective tissue fibers,
Acceleration of destruction of elastic fibers.
HOW TO PREVENT WRINKLES
Generally used to combat the adverse effects of time, anti-aging medicine is a preventive medicine. Anti-aging medicine is comprehensive and proposes to act on internal factors: nutrition, micro-nutrition, hormonal system. Aesthetic Medicine provides external aids to prevent and repair skin aging. It allows to delay the heavy interventions of medicine or cosmetic surgery (prevention) and to rejuvenate facial features and skin (repair).
WHEN SHOULD ANTI-AGING MEDICINE BE USED?
It is better to act from an early age, before the appearance of signs of aging in order to stimulate the tissues and keep its health and youth capital. Aging of the skin is natural and begins at the exit from childhood. Anti-aging medicine is often solicited by from the age of 40, when the signs of aging begin to be visible and impair well-being.
Aging is an inevitable phenomenon, aesthetic medicine complements the physiological and individual approach by providing support to cells and tissues to prevent skin aging and delay the appearance of wrinkles.
AESTHETIC MEDICINE AND SURGERY
The self-image can be altered by the signs of the weather visible on the parts of the skin that are daily exposed to the eyes. Social and mental well-being can be degraded and lead to dysfunctions in daily life and relationships, thereby limiting activities or projects.
The use of medical techniques to combat aging or skin rejuvenation is a complementary solution to life hygiene.
ANTI-AGING TECHNIQUES
Anti–aging medical techniques make it possible to prevent, delay and correct the signs of weather on the skin. These techniques, whether chemical (peeling) or physical (energy sources such as the LASER) can act on the effects due to time (loosening of the skin) and on the effects due to the sun (stains on the skin).
Peeling or dermabrasion can indirectly stimulate cell renewal by accelerating the cleansing of dead skin. Skin cells can be destroyed to the dermis. These techniques can be very aggressive, they bring random results and have adverse effects.
Triggered laser photorejuvenation (Q-Switch) is a preventive intervention, indicated for people of all ages allowing the skin to make new collagen. Collagen is the main protein of connective tissue (supporting tissue). It brings strength and flexibility to fabrics. Triggered laser photorejuvenation (Q-Switch) creates a “neocollagenesis” by specific heating of the vessels of the dermis. The production of new collagen by the skin will allow it to keep its tone and delay the installation of facial wrinkles.
Non-ablative fractional photo thermolysis (NFP) is a method that diffuses energy (photons) on the skin through small microscopic treatment Zones. The laser is passed on the skin, deep heating of the very small areas only. Affected tissues can be repaired without significant side effect. Skin not affected by light is not altered, this which contributes to the rapid healing of the treated surface. It allows to treat wrinkles and fine lines, pigment and vascular disorders. It also acts on the texture of the skin.
The principle of action of fractional photothermolysis is the rise in temperature of the target area, it is a thermal effect. Thermal effect: mechanism of action most exploited in laser treatments, it is a complex process that can be broken down into three stages: conversion of light into heat, heat transfer and tissue reaction related to temperature and warm-up time.
The wavelengths used for nFP are close to infra-red and are absorbed by water. NFP techniques offer great flexibility in the choice of energy doses deployed. Treatment can easily be adapted to each person according to the desired results. The individualization of the protocols also allows to control the treatment sequences. Non-ablative fractional photo thermolysis (NFP) is a safe technique that benefits from 10 years of practice and recoil.
Combined Techniques: Several laser and light techniques can be combined for this indication. The triggered laser photo rejuvenation (Q-Switch) is completed episodically by a non-ablative fractional LASER treatment. In addition to the benefit of “neocollagenesis” induced by the 2 lasers, the non-ablative fractional LASER allows an improvement of existing wrinkles.

How to Prevent Wrinkles Using Natural Supplements
Here we share with you the best supplements and most effective natural remedies to prevent wrinkles. In order to age in beauty and avoid vitamin and mineral deficiencies, here are natural supplements and remedies that are recommended by specialists to strengthen your skin health and to prevent wrinkles.
Vitamins C and E
Vitamins C and E are antioxidants that fight the effects of free radicals. Vitamin C and flavonoids act within the cells themselves, while vitamin E protects the fat membrane around them; it strengthens the immune system of older people, thus keeping away the risk of age-related conditions, such as cardiovascular disease, certain forms of cancer and, perhaps, Alzheimer’s disease. Other antioxidants are probably even more effective: green tea (long touted for its effects on longevity), selenium (40 µg 2 times a day) and Grape Seed Extract (100 mg 2 times a day), which contains many antioxidant flavonoids.
Folic Acid
Folic acid, a Vitamin of Group B, maintains the level of red blood cells in the blood, protects the heart and contributes to the proper functioning of the nervous system. Its action is promoted by vitamin B12, which contributes to the proper functioning of the brain. Elderly people have an interest in taking this vitamin as a supplement, since many of them no longer assimilate vitamins brought from food. However, a deficiency of vitamin B12 may cause nervous disorders, accompanied by depression. It is probably better to take B vitamins in the form of polyvitamins and minerals that strengthen immune defenses and keep away the risk of infection in the elderly.
Beer
Brewer’s yeast, which brings all the vitamins of Group B, is also an excellent supplement to compensate for the metabolic deficiencies of aging.
Caution: if you are undergoing medical treatment, consult your doctor before taking any supplements.

Vitamin E could prolong human life. A study conducted by the American Institute of Gerontology showed that the risks of dying from cardiovascular disease were half lower in people taking vitamin E supplements. According to another study, this vitamin strengthens the immune system of individuals over 65 years of age. Also, A study conducted on a group of elderly people demonstrated the existence of a link between the presence in the blood of high doses of antioxidants (beta-carotene and vitamin C) and better memorization ability.
Did You Know?
Although appetite decreases with age, the need for vitamins, minerals and other nutrients increases with age. In addition, physical exercise, including walking at a rate of 4-5 km per day, is one of the best ways to combat aging. Before taking supplements and natural remedies, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
