Chet Zar’s dark imagination seeps through the canvas and in to the world of his audience. His fascination with the strange and the dark surrealism portrayed in his work is unignorabley magnetic. Reminiscent of characters you’s find in classic horror movies, the conceptual realism of Chet’s works take you on an uneasy journey to another dimension.

Over years of painting and sculpture, Chet has truly crafted an entire world! That’s why it’s so exciting that he’s finally making us a field guide! So that we can better understand his characters and the environment they inhabit.

I have always been fascinated by the dimensions of reality that we create for ourselves. Whether through writing or the visual arts, humanity has a long standing history of building worlds of our own and telling their stories. They have a strong connection to our dreams and our subconscious minds.. I for one am super exited to delve deeper into the realm of Chet Zar’s Dy5topia!
