I don’t want to sleep alone -Preference- Set B
Warnings; Mentions of anxiety and past trauma, typical canon violence, mentions of manlipuation and obsession. A/N; Requests are open! Guidlines are pinned at the top of my page Credit to @cafekitsune for the divider and banner
Daryl Dixon; After you and Daryl reunite after the prison fell, neither one of you wants to be out of each other's sight. Except you are both too nervous to admit it. However, one night before you go to bed, Daryl starts moving your stuff closer to his. He's not always great with words, yet his actions speak for him.
Milton Mamet; It occurs after your and Milton's third date. He drops it suddenly, and you ask him if he's positive. Milton is adamant, he even makes the promise of breakfast with coffee. When you tell him you need to grab your things, he offers to escort you.
Glenn Rhee; Glenn and you are setting up camp on the farm. making sure everyone had a tent and a space to sleep. As you go to put up your tent, Glenn suddenly gets tongue-tied. He doesn't want to sleep alone anymore. He blurts the question at you. You laugh, but ask him where he wants to sleep.
Morgan Jones; Morgan's sitting outside admiring the view. He enjoys sitting back, reflecting on the day's events and the possibilities of the future. When you step out, he immediately turns adjusting in his chair holding his hand out for you. When you tell Morgan you don't want to sleep alone, Morgan tells you, you don't have to, but asks for five more minutes
Ceasar Martinez; Ceasar and you argued. It was over your safety. He didn't want you to go on patrol but you were insistent on attempting to prove yourself. Ceasar's well aware of your capabilities, but he's terrified of losing you. He's trying to fall asleep on the couch when you walk over to him and hold out your hand. Ceasar doesn't say anything as he follows you. He's just grateful he'll be able to sleep tonight.
Ozzy; Ozzy comes to your room after a night full of tossing and turning. He needs his mind to settle and there's only one person to successfully help him. It's you. He doesn't know how you do it. Maybe it's the way you run your hands through his hair lightly tugging or how right it feels when you sleep beside him.
Spencer Monroe; Spencer comes to you after he's completed his chores. Ever since he spent the night with you he's struggled to sleep. He doesn't have anymore on his mind than usual. His body is screaming at him to sleep, but sleep evades him. It's got to be you. He can't be tired like this all the time anymore. So he heads to your place so he can crawl into bed beside you.
Brandon; Brandon is watching you as you slowly begin to nod off. He goes to make his way out of your room when you grab hold of his arm. When you ask him not to leave, Brandon unlaces his boots, shedding his clothes and gets into bed sides you. He pulls you close and quickly drifts off with you in his arms.
King Ezekiel; Ezekiel has a lot of pressure on his shoulders. He has an entire community of people to look after. Naturally, sometimes he needs to be looked after. It's late when you remind Ezekiel to go to bed. Instinctively he begins to protest. You remain firm reminding him, he's no good to anyone if he's dead on his feet. Reluctantly he agrees as long as you come with him
Dwight; Dwight thought he'd lost you. He's walking through the Sanctuary when he sees you. His heart is racing as he approaches you. His mind cannot fathom it's truly you, even after you're in his arms holding onto him for dear life. He's not going to let you out of his sight from now on. Where he goes you go and vice versa.
Aaron; It's your fifth date when Aaron finally asks you if you would like to sleep over. He knows you don't live very far away, but he would like to wake up beside you. Perhaps you could go for an early morning walk before the two of you get some breakfast before your day truly begins.
Tyreese Williams; Tyreese tells you he doesn't want to sleep alone on the first night he arrives at the prison. You're both in a new place with new dynamics. You both need something familiar. Secondly with you close by, he'll be able to keep you safe. Tyreese is still trying to figure out if the prison is a safe place for you all.
Simon; Simon's becoming more and more infatuated with you. You are everything to him. His focus is solely centered on you. He refuses to let you out of his sight. He asks you to sleep in his room so he can keep his eye on you, to keep you safe.
Phillip 'The Governor' Blake; When you approach the Governor tell him you don't want to sleep alone, the governor smirks, explaining you don't have to. Slowly his plan is coming together. Soon he'll have you in the palm of his hands. To access where your old group is currently hiding. So he can move in and take over.
Dante; Dante was supposed to be working on the inside for the Whispers, however, he never intended to meet someone or fall for them. Yet here you were. You walk into the infirmary one day with a smile on your face to ask him if he has any plans. When he reveals he does you ask him if he'd want to stay at yours. He agrees.
Bob Stookley; Bob has a lot of demons. He's fighting to be a better partner to you and a proactive member of the group. Some days are worse than others, so as you go settle for the night he asks you. You don't say a word as you grab his hand and lead him towards his cell.
Aiden Monroe; When you tell Aiden you don't want to sleep alone, he finds it endearing. He knows his parents won't mind you staying over. They adore you. Besides both of you are always so nice, it's nice to spend some time with you, even if you both are technically asleep. Aiden plans to make you breakfast in the morning.
Otis; When Rick's group comes to the farm, Everything is pure chaos. You hadn't been feeling the most comfortable with all the new people dotted around the place When you stepped into Otis's room that night, he was quick to reassure you. To provide you with a quiet space to breathe and accept the changes going on around you.
Paul "Jesus" Rovia; It had been a rough day dealing with the Saviours. Everyone was tired and stressed out. One by one everyone begins to turn in for the night. When you go to head in Jesus entwines your fingers together, asking you to come to bed with him. You nod as he leads you towards his room.

THE OFFICE'S HALLOWEEN
Jim Halpert x gn!Reader, but Pam and Dwight are also in this. :) Word count: around 600 Summary: Reader needs to quickly think of a Halloween costume to not get K.O.'d by Dwight's ego. Author's note: I became obsessed with X-men again after seeing Deadpool & Wolverine and I've got this idea! Enjoy!
As you step into the office, a sinking feeling hits you like a ton of bricks. The atmosphere is different today, buzzing with an excitement you can't quite place—until you look around. Every single person is in a costume. Pam at the reception, with her whiskers carefully drawn on and a headband with perky cat ears, looks up at you and offers a soft smile. Across the room, Kevin stands proudly in a superhero costume that’s almost comically tight, and, unsurprisingly, Angela is also in a cat costume… and Phyllis too.
You freeze for a moment, dread creeping up your spine. Halloween. How could you forget?
You walk to the reception, greeting Pam. Then, like a scene from a horror movie, you catch sight of Dwight. He’s sitting there, shrouded in a long black hooded robe, his eyes piercing you.
“You’re late…” Dwight announces, his voice dripping with ominous intent, clearly trying to stay in character.
“Yeah… there was crazy traffic down there,” you respond, scrambling for an excuse.
He inhales deeply, then lets out a dramatic sigh, clearly enjoying his role a little too much. “What are you supposed to be?” His tone suggests he’s already anticipating your failure.
Your mind races. You can’t let him know you forgot it was Halloween. That would be handing him a victory in whatever unspoken battle the two of you are constantly fighting... sometimes three of you, when Jim joins.
You need to think of something fast. Something that’ll completely throw him off.
You got it.
Dwight opens his mouth to speak again, ready to announce your defeat. “I could’ve—” he starts.
You cut him off, smoothly drawing your index and middle finger up against your temple and squinting your eyes in concentration. “—thought so…” you finish his sentence, trying to mimic the deep, contemplative voice of someone who’s just accessed the hidden corners of their mind.
Dwight’s expression falters for a second, his usual expression of suspicion giving way to genuine shock.
“I am Professor X, Charles Xavier,”you declare, trying to sound as confident as possible.
He snorts, immediately slipping back into his usual skepticism. “No you’re not. He’s bald.”
You roll your eyes. “Jesus, just imagine him young!”
“He was always bald, because of his mutation, dumbass,” Dwight snaps back, and you can tell he’s savoring this moment.
You lean in closer to Pam and whisper, “What a nerd.”
Pam stifles a laugh, as she watches you stroll to your desk, which, unfortunately, is directly across from Dwight’s.
“And you are?” you ask, gesturing to his dark, ominous ensemble.
“I am a Sith Lord,” he declares, his voice dripping with melodrama as he pulls back his hood slightly, revealing his intense, steely gaze.
You tilt your head and smirk. “Oh really? I thought you were having an identity crisis. No offense.”
Dwight opens his mouth, ready to retaliate, but he’s suddenly distracted by the sight of Jim walking in through the door. Jim is wearing his usual attire, except for three black circles taped to his shirt.
Dwight is done. “And you are supposed to be?”
Jim glances down at his shirt, then back up at Dwight with a grin. “Three punch holes, Dwight. Normally I’m just Jim. Today, I’m three-punch-hole Jim.”
Dwight stares at him, annoyed that no one seems to take Halloween seriously here. “You’re both so boring. Seriously, you’re made for each other,” he mutters, shaking his head as if the sheer absurdity of it all is too much for him to process.
Jim gives you a look, clearly remarking the last sentence Dwight said. You can’t help but blush slightly. Suddenly Dwight storms off in disgust, robe billowing behind him like a dark, disgruntled shadow, making you, Jim and Pam laugh uncontrollably.
In this bizarre office, it’s the small victories that matter, and you and Jim know you’ve just won this round without even trying.
Another author’s note: I know Professor X as James McAvoy had hair in the films, but they only know the X-Men with Stewart + I read somewhere that in the comics he didn’t have hair at all so Dwight may be right. :D

Looking out for you
Dwight Schrute x reader
Warnings: None
Requested: @thoughts-and-thistles
Summary: Dwight stands up to Angela for you when things don’t go as planned
~~~
“Isn’t 7:00 a little late for lunch?” Kevin asked.
“You had just ruined me, (Y/n)! Don’t you think I don’t plan on returning the favor.”
Angela was throwing a fit over a small mistake that could be simply fixed, instead, she chose to take her frustration out on you.
It was almost a promise if it already wasn’t when she made that statement to you. You felt horrible for screwing up and you wanted to fix it immediately. What happened was, as you were helping Angela put up the “Launch Party” sign up, you didn’t realize your mistake in spelling as it now read, “Lunch Party.”
“Lunch party?! It’s supposed to say Launch Party!”
You never wanted to admit this out loud, but Angela intimated you. Not knowing how to handle it when she treats you this way, you remain as is and just takes it until she’s finished.
There had been quite a number of times that Angela brought tears to your eyes and once that happened, Angela showed no signs of remorse. It was killing you inside but you took it as an attempt to stay on her good side, it was her tone she used that frightened you most of all. You hated it when others raised their voices at you, it made you feel alone, unappreciative, and in this case, it made things awkward between you.
What you didn’t know was that you had a guardian angel looking out for you over in sales, his name is Dwight Schrute. Dwight Schrute, as in Shrute farms. After Dwight had started picking up on the way Angela had been treating you, he didn’t like it at all, nor was he appreciative of it and he wanted to do something about it. Dwight wanted to step in and defend you, he just didn’t know how to do so properly and professionally. While those were running in his mind, they were interrupted by Michael Scott, the manager having a little run in with Angela of his own.
“I care!” Angela exclaimed.
“Wow! Calm down booster seat.”
Now with Michael gone, Dwight continues to surveillance by eavesdropping.
“I don’t understand, (Y/n)! How can you be so stupid?!”
You weren’t going to lie, but that one hurt. However, upon hearing Angela say such a thing to you was his final straw and finally took a step into your rescue.
Dwight made sure to stand between you in case a fight would happen.
“Okay, Angela. That’s enough.
“But-“
“Did I stutter? I said that’s enough! Whatever mistake had been made here can be easily fixed by me. Now, I don’t want you messing (Y/n) around like that. Have I made myself clear?”
Angela sighed in response, in annoyance before walking back to her desk as if none of this just happened.
Once Angela was gone, you turned to Dwight. “Thank you for that, I truly appreciate it.”
“It’s nothing. I’ve been keeping an eye from the way she’s been treating you. I should have stepped in sooner, but I didn’t have the right words to say. But that all felt good.”
“Oh well, thank you again. For defending me when I couldn’t defend myself. You’re truly a hero.”
Dwight gives you a blank look before referencing Star Wars and Han Solo.
“Do you think he did that just to become a hero? I don’t think so. You know who the real heroes are? The ones who come to work everyday.”
That was amusing to you and you couldn’t help but chuckle.
“Of course, he didn’t.”
“Exactly what I thought.”
It goes silent again before Dwight speaks up. The truth was, Dwight had a bit of a crush on you and has been wanting to ask you out for a while now.
This moment, Dwight finds the small talks as his window of opportunity to do so.
“Can I take you out for a coffee after work tonight, (Y/n)?”
It was the last thing you expected for him to say, but you happily agreed.
It’s a date!
You’re going on a date with Dwight Schrute!
Your first date!
~~~
A/N: Requests are open!

clause of attraction (luke cooper x reader)
Michael's nephew is single, that's a sign to be a matchmaker (even if it's with the new lawyer).
tags n warnings: lawyer!reader, suggestive, forced proximity, mentions of bdsm, heels kink, language, teasing, small age gap, roleplay, the office characters included, comedy, second hand embarrassment. word count: 2.6k masterlist
You stepped out of the car, slamming the door shut behind you as you made your way to Dunder Mifflin. Jan had already warned you—Michael Scott needed another lawyer. The last one quit because, apparently, he couldn’t stop cracking inappropriate jokes. Great. You already had a sense of what you were walking into.
Pushing through the front doors, you caught sight of what looked like a bizarre meeting. Pausing for a moment, you finally knocked on the conference room door.
“Uh, excuse me…” you called out, knocking again. All heads turned toward you. “Michael Scott?”
“Whoa, hey there!” A man who fit the bill jumped up, grinning as he walked over. He offered his hand, and you shook it politely, though his energy was a bit... much. “And who are you, gorgeous?”
There it was—the exact behavior Jan had mentioned. You introduced yourself, gently pulling your hand back as his grip lingered a little too long. Glancing around, you noticed a camera pointed in your direction.
“Alright, everyone, listen up!” Michael clapped his hands together, turning to the group. “This is the new lawyer for Dunder Mifflin! Let’s give her a big ol’ round of applause.”
A smattering of weak claps followed. Some people didn’t even bother, opting to roll their eyes instead.
“Okay, Mr. Scott... If this isn’t a bad time, I’d like to talk—”
“Whoa, whoa, hold up. Call me Michael,” he cut you off, waving his hand dismissively. “But, uh, can I just say? You’re way too pretty to be a lawyer. I mean, I thought you’d be, like, old. The last one? Jeez, talk about a buzzkill.”
He leaned in closer, completely ignoring the concept of personal space.
“Honestly, compared to the grump who was here before, anyone would look like a model,” a man with glasses chimed in, standing up straight. “Dwight Schrute, Assistant to the Regional Manager.”
“That’s not even a real title,” a tall man commented from across the room, smirking.
“Can it, Jim! She’s just the lawyer,” Dwight snapped, sitting back down in a huff.
“Alright, alright, let’s not get caught up in the boring stuff. Here’s what really matters,” Michael interrupted, pointing right at you. “You single?”
“Uh, yes? But what’s that got to do with anything?” you asked, your brows furrowed in confusion.
“It’s got everything to do with this case,” Michael announced proudly. “Now, sit down. This is gonna blow your mind!” He gestured to an empty chair.
Reluctantly, you took a seat, feeling all eyes on you.
“Buckle up,” Jim muttered under his breath, his lips quirking into a knowing grin.
You frowned, unsure what to make of his comment.
“My dear,” Michael began, puffing up his chest, “you’re gonna absolutely love meeting my nephew!” He pointed dramatically toward the door. Everyone turned to look—but the doorway was empty.
“Uh... hold on, gimme a sec,” Michael stammered, rushing out of the room.
He rushed out of the room, leaving everyone exchanging looks—some surprised, others bored, as if this were just another day at the office. You shifted uncomfortably in your chair, feeling increasingly out of place. Maybe Michael’s nephew had something to do with the case after all.
Moments later, Michael reappeared, standing beside the door with a strange, almost giddy laugh. “Alright, folks. Let’s try this again. You’re gonna love meeting my nephew... Luke Cooper!”
“Oh, no.” The room groaned in unison as a young man strutted in, waving with a mischievous grin plastered on his face.
______________________________________________
“Luke Cooper back in the office, folks,” Oscar muttered, laughing nervously as he squirmed in his chair. “We’re *****”
“I swear to God, if that kid pulls one more stunt, I’m gonna need that damn lawyer,” Dwight hissed, glaring daggers in Luke’s direction.
"You know when grandma stops you and just says you need to meet their lazy useless son?" Jim clicked his tongue, spreading on the chair. "Pretty much the same."
"Luke being here is not completely wrong, he made the selection, interview and all the things." Toby sighed, scratching his head. "But I think this is worse than the last time. It's... Legal... Unfortunately."
______________________________________________
“I love the warm welcome, everyone. Really makes me feel loved,” Luke chuckled, blowing exaggerated air kisses to the room with a mocking grin before plopping into the chair right beside you.
You stood up, crossing your arms. “Michael, can we talk in private for a moment?”
“No can do, sweetheart. Whatever you gotta discuss, you can take it up with Luke. He’s sitting right next to you,” Michael replied, beaming like he’d just orchestrated a match made in heaven.
You glanced at Luke, hoping for some sort of shared understanding, but he looked just as bewildered as you.
“Aw, don’t play dumb, you two. You’re perfect for each other,” Michael added, clasping his hands together dramatically.
“That’s it. I’m done,” a blonde woman muttered, abruptly standing and leaving the room. One by one, the rest of the office followed her out, clearly over it.
“Stay put. I’ll be right back,” Michael whispered theatrically, tiptoeing out the door. Just as quickly, he slammed it shut behind him, locking it.
“Hey!” you shouted, rushing to the door and jiggling the handle, but Michael was already outside. With a smug grin, he tossed the key into a nearby vase and strolled away.
“Damn it!” you muttered under your breath.
______________________________________________
“What do I think of the lawyer?” Luke repeated the question, staring at the floor for a moment before looking into the camera with a mischievous grin and winking.
“Don’t get me wrong,” Angela said primly, addressing the camera. “They do look cute together. She seems like a smart young woman. Michael’s nephew doesn’t deserve her. But, if they end up together, maybe she can straighten that boy out.”
“What do I think about Luke and the lawyer?” Jim echoed, tilting his head and tapping his chin. “Well, if she’s into 22-year-old guys with a rebellious brat streak, sure, it could work.”
“He’s probably gonna love having a babysitter around,” Pam joked, nudging Jim with her shoulder. He chuckled along with her.
______________________________________________
"Just so you know, I had nothing to do with this," Luke remarked, stretching lazily in his chair, his body language nonchalant but slightly restless.
“This company is going to have serious problems! I’ll sue you, Michael!” you threatened, your voice firm with frustration. But then you froze, realizing with a grimace that you were the company’s lawyer, not its opposition. With a resigned sigh, you dropped back into your seat beside Luke. “How do you think we’re getting out of here?”
“Maybe after I propose to you and whisk you off to Hawaii,” he quipped, letting out a dramatic huff as he ran a hand through his messy hair, giving you a crooked smirk.
“You’re just a kid. You shouldn’t even be thinking about that kind of thing,” you retorted, shaking your head as you leaned back in the chair, your arms crossed. Your gaze drifted to his face, studying him for a moment longer than you intended.
“Hey, I’m 22. I’m not a kid,” he grumbled, his tone defensive as he crossed his arms tightly over his chest.
“You’re literally acting like one right now,” you teased, laughing softly. His eyes narrowed as he rolled them dramatically, dropping his arms back to his sides in mock defeat.
“Well, I’m not that much younger than you—what, three years? That’s nothing,” he argued, his expression softening as he tilted his head toward you.
“Three years makes all the difference to me,” you shot back, smirking.
“If my uncle finds out you’re 25, he’s gonna lose his mind. You should just pretend you’re some teenage prodigy or something,” he suggested with a playful grin.
The idea made you laugh, finally easing the tension between you. “Do you really think Michael even read my file?”
“If he did, he wouldn’t be throwing you at me. You… you seem way too cool for that,” he said, his voice quieter, almost self-deprecating as his eyes shifted down to his hands.
“What do you think? If we kiss, will he let us out?” you joked, raising an eyebrow at the absurdity of the thought.
“We could pretend to be doing way more than kissing,” he shot back with a mischievous grin, leaning closer as if testing how far he could push the joke.
You rolled your eyes, laughing despite yourself. “God, you’re impossible.”
He smirked, leaning back. “You know, people usually only roll their eyes at me when they’re having fun.”
“Go find something better to do, kid,” you said, giving him a light shove. He rocked back in his chair with exaggerated flair before settling again.
“Wouldn’t be the worst idea,” he murmured, raising an eyebrow at you with a look that bordered on flirtatious.
“This violates, like, a thousand codes of conduct,” you exclaimed, throwing your hands up in mock exasperation.
“Good thing I’ve got a lawyer with me,” he countered, his grin unapologetic.
You stared at him, momentarily speechless, trying to process his audacity. But his words were real, and so was the way his eyes drifted over you, scanning your frame before locking back onto your gaze. That look lingered, holding a mix of curiosity and something unspoken that made the air between you feel heavy and charged.
"Tell me, counselor. Would you sue me if I kissed you right now?" Luke asked, his voice low as he leaned in closer, his eyes flickering between yours and your lips.
"As a representative of Dunder Mifflin, or as a person?" you countered, your tone steady, though the heat of the moment made your heartbeat quicken.
"As a man," he clarified, swallowing hard. His Adam's apple bobbed as his gaze lingered on your lips, the tension between you thick enough to cut with a knife.
"Probably," you replied, your voice softer than you intended, the weight of his stare making it harder to maintain composure. His eyes finally lifted to meet yours, the delay making the moment even more charged.
Luke ran his tongue over his lips, letting out a faint click of his tongue. "And would you put me in jail?"
"I’d do my best," you answered, trying to sound firm but feeling the cracks in your resolve. Your fingers unconsciously curled into the fabric of your skirt, the tension in the air making it impossible to sit still.
He noticed your fidgeting, his lips curling into a sly smile. "Chains and all?" he teased, his voice dropping even lower.
"Okay, that’s enough!" Michael’s voice cut through the charged atmosphere, startling both of you. You instantly straightened in your chairs, awkwardly adjusting your clothes as though you’d been caught doing something wrong.
"Wow, I see you two are really hitting it off," Michael said, grinning ear to ear, clearly oblivious to what had just transpired.
"She’s the love of my life," Luke joked, throwing a smirk in your direction.
You let out a quiet, nasal laugh, quickly covering your mouth with your hand, hoping to disguise your amusement.
______________________________________________
Ryan just stared at the camera, wordlessly throwing his hands in the air. “He did it. I... I..."
“Wow,” Jim breathed.
“How do I feel about being a living matchmaking service?” Michael asked the camera, his grin childlike and self-satisfied. “You already know my answer. Guru Scott, at your service!”
“I mean, ‘m not lying about she's the love of my life. She got that office siren vibe, that thing that could step her heels on me.” Luke sighed, his eyes distant. “I'm head over heels for her, man.”
"I saw a movie like this once," Kevin started seriously, approaching the camera to whisper "And it doesn't end well on the guy's balls."
“Don’t let her put her heels on him.” Kelly threatened with tears on her face. “It's Yves Saint Laurent.” she cried out, leaving the room to search for Ryan.
“Why did Yves let people make shoes of her skin? Snakes are way better,” Creed spoke, crossing his arms. “And that girl doesn't seem to have good skin for that."
______________________________________________
Michael finally let you and Luke out of the room, and you could finally breathe again. With a sigh of relief, you got back to work, handling the paperwork with Michael to formalize Luke as an official employee. This time, he’d gone through a proper hiring process rather than being handed the job outright. The whole ordeal took longer than expected, and by the time you were done, it was already late at night. Michael said his goodbyes and left you alone in the office, still finishing up the last of the documents.
“Hey, counselor,” Luke’s voice suddenly sounded behind you, making you jump. You spun around, clutching your chest.
“Are you trying to give me a heart attack, kid?”
“Are you saying I’m your death?” he quipped, raising an eyebrow with a smirk.
“You’re so funny,” you replied, your tone dripping with sarcasm.
“Good at kissing too. But I bet you like to work with evidence, don’t you?” he teased, leaning casually against the desk.
“In some cases, eyewitness testimony is enough,” you shot back, narrowing your eyes at him.
“So… you wanna see me kiss someone?” he asked, his boldness catching you off guard.
You froze for a moment, staring at him, both intrigued and slightly impressed by his audacity.
“You’re not gonna give up, are you?”
“You’re the love of my life, remember?” he joked, referencing his earlier comment. You couldn’t help but smile, placing your hands on your hips.
“You’re impossible.”
“Always living on the edge of the law,” he quipped with a wink, stepping closer. His gaze softened as he looked down, locking eyes with you. “And you’re way too beautiful to give up on.”
His compliment caught you off guard, and you felt heat rising to your cheeks. For a moment, you didn’t know how to respond, shyly smiling back at him.
That smile seemed to throw Luke off his game for a moment, but he recovered quickly, slipping his hands into his pockets. “Always works on them,” he joked, though his voice held a softer tone.
“Them? Are you that sought after?” you teased, laughing lightly, though your shoulders remained tense.
“Nah, I’ve dropped all of them. Can’t risk making a certain lawyer mad,” he replied with a soft laugh.
You smiled again, tucking a loose strand of hair behind your ear. “This isn’t exactly professional, Luke.”
“Am I bothering you? Harassing you?” he asked, his tone suddenly serious.
“No,” you admitted, shaking your head.
“Then we’re good,”
The absurdity of it all made you laugh. This company was bizarre, and so was Luke, but maybe that wasn’t such a bad thing. Taking a step forward, you closed the distance between you.
“I’m gonna arrest you,” you said playfully, narrowing your eyes at him.
“I have the right to remain silent,” he whispered, leaning in closer.
“Good, so you’re aware of your rights,” you murmured back, your eyes dropping to his lips.
“You can remind me of them later.”
When his lips finally touched yours, it was feather-light, barely more than a brush, like he was testing the waters.
You found yourself leaning into him without thinking, the tension in your shoulders melting away. Your hands hesitated before lightly brushing against his chest, grounding yourself as his lips moved just a little more firmly against yours. It felt natural, like he was waiting to match your pace, reading every subtle response.
When he pulled back, just slightly, his eyes fluttered open, meeting yours again with a mix of nervousness and a hint of a smile. His voice was soft, almost a whisper. “Okay, that was… better than I imagined.”
You couldn’t help but smile back, your cheeks warm. “Not bad for a first attempt.”
His grin grew a little wider, and he rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. “So, does that mean I passed the test?”
You chuckled softly, shaking your head. “Let’s just say… you didn’t fail.”
“So it means ‘m gonna do my best,” he muttered before brushing your lips together again.
______________________________________________
“What did we do after that?” Luke echoed, ruffling his hair as blush came across his cheeks. “As a Quentin Tarantino fan, i foreshadowed the last interview.” he looked all around, leaning closer to the camera to whisper. “Heels and chains.”
“Good thing he's in jail.” Dwight grinned, adjusting his glasses. “Justice always prevails. Thumbs up to that lawyer.”
You smiled shyly, sighing. “I'm a good lawyer.”
“You're the best.” Luke completed, sitting next to you with sparkling eyes. He looked back at the camera and closed with his hand to kiss you.

I live for goofy moments with survivors mid serious matches tbh. Nuthin'better than throwing the game because some guy found a way to jump on the table!
Ace, Rebecca, Feng and Dwight with a usually ferocious killer, who's easily amused and/or distracted? They basically see red at all times, running and slashing and tearing everything apart.. untill people stop running away and start doing something unconventional for the place. They see a survivor behind the counter in the Dead Dawg Saloon? Yeah, no, it's not a hunt anymore, it's a bar night. Someone watches TV at Lery's memorial? That's their favourite thing to do now, too! And the carnival games.. Don't even get them started on carnival games. So it's mostly the matter of "who can entertain the said killer for the most time possible" instead of "who can outrun them" most times :)
🦞 uhavefuntoo
this was a fun one to write hehe!! fun fact i based the dwight one off of an experience i had in-game, i can't remember if i was playing dwight at the time but i had gone to pet maurice with two of my teammates and while we were petting him our killer, a nurse, came over and just watched us for a little bit, then left. IIRC, she massacred us, but it was funny X)
(i also tried to amuse a sadako in a similar way...i pretended to be watching one of her TVs, crouched in front of it, was pointing at it, and so she teleported through it, which got me to laugh. she also ended up killing me though lol)
Dwight Fairfield:
For the most part, Dwight is so afraid of you that anything funny or distracting he might do is completely by accident. For example, when he was trying to hide from you on the grounds of Father Campbell’s Chapel. He ducked down by Maurice’s favorite tent, hiding slightly behind the horse hoping you wouldn’t see him. He began gently petting Maurice to calm himself down, because he swore he could feel something looming over his shoulder. The feeling kept nagging at him as he pet the animal…until he decided he should turn around, and saw you staring at him. But there was something different about your demeanor — you seemed to have calmed down. He was still petrified, of course. Especially when you moved closer and crouched down beside him. He almost bolted away, but you started petting Maurice with him. Confusing as it was, he decided…whatever keeps you from killing him. Maurice seemed happy, too.
Feng Min:
Feng has quite the penchant for messing with killers. Whether or not they ever enjoy it could be up for debate, but it doesn’t stop her from doing it, and she always has fun with you. Every time the two of you are running through the Dead Dawg Saloon, she’ll make some distance between you and her and dive behind the counter inside the saloon, and when you finally catch up to her, she pops up from behind it and announces she’s here to take your order. Seeing the immediate change in your demeanor amuses her to no end, when you suddenly stop and politely approach the counter. Typically, you two will end up playing barkeep for the rest of the match while Feng’s teammates finish generators and everything. Sometimes, other survivors will wander in and either be confused by the scene or decide to join in your games. Either way, Feng loves having fun with you like this.
Ace Visconti:
Of course, Ace is no stranger to testing his luck, especially when it comes to killers. He was testing wacky ways to lose you or direct your attention to something else long before he knew how easy it really was to distract you. He didn’t truly discover this until one day, when running from you around the carnival grounds of Father Campbell’s, he decided to stop at one of the booths. It was a milk jug ring toss game, he figured if he landed a shot, maybe it’d amuse you enough to leave him alone for now. To his surprise, you actually stopped your bloodthirsty rampage to watch him play the game, and you even took a turn after he’d thrown a few. He soon realized, after a couple rounds, was actually having fun with you. A killer…! If he would’ve known this was going to work, he would’ve done it a long time ago.
Rebecca Chambers:
Rebecca doesn’t tend to goof off during trials, not even with other survivors, especially not with a killer. Normally, she wouldn’t be particularly inclined to waste time either, but during a trial between the two of you inside Lery’s Memorial, as she was running from you she was quickly realizing she was running out of ways to keep you distracted. She noticed a television up the hallway, and as a last-ditch effort, sprinted towards it and called a time-out to watch TV together. She didn’t think it would work. But you actually stopped and lumbered towards the TV with your head cocked, and you stood next to her in front of the screen. She was still tense, but internally, she heaved a sigh of relief. Somehow, it had worked…she had gotten you to calm down and stop terrorizing everyone for a few minutes. In a way, it was nice, almost….

Imagine going on a date with Dwight. For him this is the first time he's going out with anybody since leaving prison.
He's super nervous and thinks it doesn't show, but his fidgeting gives it away. He's constantly looking over as if checking to see this is real, that you are real. He can't believe his luck to have found a woman as beautiful as you. Occasionally, he rubs his palms together and you have to fight real hard to contain your laughter. He's just utterly adorable.

Getting into an Argument with them
Dwight, Jane, Adam
Dwight Fairfield
When Dwight gets upset, you know he's either been pushed to the limit, or it was just that bad.
He doesn't like to argue with anyone.
But today was just Hell.
Shitty trials, shitty killers, shitty survivors.
It was all shitty.
So he was short.
And when you commented on that.
"Well, you're just a fucking bitch!"
And it will come out of nowhere.
When Dwight's upset, things just come out of his mouth.
It's like he's a whole other person.
Immediately, he'll realize what he said.
And he'll feel so bad about it that he shocked himself into silence.
He'll just make incoherent sounds trying to form an apology.
After about a minute of stuttering, he'll run into your arms and pull you into the tightest hug.
"I'm sorry; I didn't mean that! I'm sorry! I'm so so sorry!-"
And he will start crying too.
He'll continue blubbering apologies until you're able to stop him.
If you don't stop him, he'll go on for hours.
He'll remind you how much you mean to him. How much he loves you.
He might even be begging at your feet for forgiveness.
These arguments are extremely rare, so cut him some slack.
If you're upset anytime, he'll understand.
In the meantime, he'll do everything you like to make it up to you.
Because he loves you; and he never wants to lose you.
Jane Romero
Jane is very vocal when she's upset.
It doesn't matter what happened. You'll know when she's upset.
Usually, she tries to stay out of everyone else's path.
She doesn't like taking out her anger on people who don't deserve it.
If you accidentally cross her path while she's upset, she'll probably snap at you.
Most likely, she'll tell you fuck off.
You have two options at this point: walk away or engage with her.
If you walk away she'll likely scoff at you.
"Oh, now you're too good for me?"
When she gets angry she just lashes out.
If you engage with her, get ready for a screaming battle.
Jane has a very loud voice and she isn't afraid to use it.
No matter how loud you yell, she'll find a way to yell louder.
And even if you do try to yell over her, she'll keep interrupting you while you're talking.
She has a habit of shutting people down when she's upset.
It's a: my way or the highway type of deal.
It's best to give her space.
Give her some time to cool off before approaching her again.
She'll be very embarrassed and apologize sincerely.
She knows what she did was wrong and, even if why she was upset was your fault, she shouldn't have said those things.
She's very good about fessing up to her mistakes, even though she doesn't like to.
She won't be upset if you're angry with her. She knows she would be too if she were in your shoes.
After a little time to decompress she wants to talk about what happened.
"Bottling up your emotions isn't healthy."
She knows she has a temper, and she wants to work on it.
She's aware she isn't perfect. She knows she has flaws.
But she's willing to work on them with you.
Because she loves you and can't imagine a world without you.
Adam Francis
It's very rare that Adam gets upset.
He's usually very mild-mannered and calm.
Being one of the more mature survivors, he knows how to control his emotions.
However, like everyone else, he has his breaking point.
And, well it's very hard to reach that breaking point, it is achievable.
He's always around to lend an ear or help anybody in need.
But, the stress does get to him occasionally.
Adam is the one who is usually mediating fights between other survivors.
But when he's upset, he isn't going to be helping anyone.
If anything, he'll make it worse.
But he isn't doing it on purpose.
When he gets upset he's very short and sarcastic.
And that usually creates more tension.
He isn't one to yell, instead, he'll try and seclude himself or give very short snippy answers.
Or, he'll give you the silent treatment.
He won't let you know that he's upset. He doesn't want to start a verbal argument with you.
Mostly because he knows it won't fix anything.
If you passed him enough, he may snap at you.
"Yes, I'm angry. Now could you leave me the fuck alone?"
He won't shout, but he'll be very stern.
Like he talks through his teeth and tries not to yell.
Kind of like a growling.
Then he'll storm off.
Don't follow him.
It's better to just let him have his alone time.
After he's calmed down, he'll return to you and apologize for his behavior.
He'll want to discuss what had happened and what led up to the chain of events.
And how things could have played out better.
This is to improve your relationship for the future.
It may seem unnecessary at the moment. But it's only because Adam loves you and never wants to lose you.

Back To You
Summary; Dwight comes face to face with someone who he presumed was gone. Pairing; Dwight x Female Reader WordCount; 522 A/N; Requests are open. Losely based on a preference I wrote a while ago. Credit to @cafekitsune for the divider and banner!
Dwight's eyes haunted him. Creating false imagery of you, the love of his life. Lost. Dwight was uncertain. You could be alive, lost, searching for him. Or you were now gone, walking among the undead.
Dwight looked away. Inhaled and exhaled before he glanced back up. Excepting the image of you to have disappeared. Except you hadn't.
You were still deep in discussion with Arat. Dwight felt his heart pounding in his ears as the box slipped out of his hand crashing onto the floor. You turned reacting to the sudden sound.
It was you without question.
Time appeared to slow around you both. Dwight closed the distance in a matter of large strides. Not a word was spoken when Dwight finally reached you. With calloused hands, Dwight grasped your face as his lips collided with yours with a bruising impact.
Even as you pulled away, neither let go. Silent tears expressed a mountain of emotions you'd need to process. Arms circled around bodies, both holding on for dear life, afraid the other might suddenly disappear.
As Dwight leaned down to kiss you again, he took his time. Wanting to absorb every feeling, every sound, every touch. The softness of your lips sent him back to easier times.
The way you clutched onto his shirt as you attempted to ground yourself. The way lips twitched ever so slightly when Dwight leaned in for another kiss.
So many memories came flooding back, Dwight found a home within you. He would do anything he could to protect that.
Dwight realized there was so much at stake. The Sanctuary was hazardous. There were too many dangers within the walls. Always someone attempting to win Negan's favor.
The two of you would need to take off. Somewhere safe. Somewhere where people weren't constantly fighting for more power. Dwight considered asking if Alexandria would take you in.
It would be a long shot, but what did Dwight have to lose?
"Baby, I've got so many questions, but I've got to deliver this package. Wanna come with me?"
"I can as long as we collect the bundle of clothes I'm meant to be fixing." Dwight retrieved the box from the ground, deciding to take the weight in one arm so the other could hold onto your hand.
"Alright. Then we're going to head back to yours. We're packing up your stuff so you can move into my room."
They were walking around doing their duties, while so much uncertainty hung over the two.
"You know we're gonna figure it out. What to do next? One thing is certain we're not staying here long term. I don't know how. I don't know where but we're going to find somewhere safe."You nodded. Dwight wrapped his arms around your shoulders. The apocalypse had taken a lot from Dwight. Life as he knew it, but he refused to let it take you.

Michael Scott Headcannons
Michael Scott x reader
Requested: @maleahoswick
***
• In the beginning, the relationship is kept secret until Dwight finds out about it shortly after you and Michael inform David Wallace
• Not everyone in the office is approving, Kevin is always on the lookout to see if it’s true, sort of how he spied on Pam and Jim. Angela doesn’t approve, she likes to believe that your love is fake
• Most everyone in the office is approving, even in the warehouse below, they all approve and it’s most surprising to know that Roy is one of those that is more supportive than others
• You and Michael seem to have everything in common but you honestly don’t
• When you’re sick, Michael will make you take a sick day, even if you’ve taken them all up he will make you stay home and rest
• Being insulted by the fact Ryan invited you and not Michael to his weekend campout was easy for you turn him down and say you wouldn’t be going if Michael was not invited
• Seeing that Michael is still a little vulnerable to Jan, you have no problem sticking up for Michael whenever she tries to pull a fast one on him, trying to talk him into leaving you, you just weren’t having it
• When it happened one too many times, you let her have it and from that point on, she stays from you both
• You take things slow in the start of your relationship. By about a year into it, you move in together and two years after, you both are engaged
• If you have to work any late nights, Michael will stay with you. But as each person is leaving, he’s doing it more in a way as your boyfriend than he is your manager, and that is something kept between the two of you
• If someone disrespects you in anyway, especially in front of him, Michael will get upset and start defending you immediately, putting that person in their place
• Michael is your comforter during panic attacks and surprisingly, so is Dwight at times if he’s there as well
• Sometimes he likes to leave little gifts on your desk before you arrive. It could be anything from your favorite chips, soda, to your favorite candy with a little note attached to it
• When you had gotten the iPod during secret Santa, you knew immediately it was from Michael and had sort of the same reaction as Ryan did in that episode, only you were more gentle about it
• It wasn’t like you didn’t appreciate it because you did, to you, it was always the thought that counted but truth be told, you were a little embarrassed this happened in front of everyone
• You both LOVED pretzel day, Michael would always wait in line for you both and would brings yours back when he returns because you were often busy with some work
• When you meet Michael, he was with Carol at the time, and because you weren’t there when she rejected his proposal, you comforted him as he told you about it
• This all happened before you got together, so when she refused while breaking up with him, you agreed to go to Jamaica with him, and that’s where things begin for you both
• Michael becomes overly protective of you after Roy’s attempt to attack Jim, so he bans Roy from the building unless escorted by Hank. Your safety to Michael has always been his top priority.
• Michael loves to brag about you and to show you off when given the open opportunity
• Threat Level Midnight was a blast to film
• Michael just loved you to pieces as you did for him

You knew Dwight well enough to sense that something was bothering him, or that his mind was spinning in circles like a hamster on its wheel. You also knew that, eventually, he would reach some bizarre conclusion that made sense in his own happy little world, and he would blurt out something strange or off-the-wall. It would either make you laugh or leave you feeling unsettled; there was never an in-between with him. In his mind, it would make perfect sense for an elephant to be perched on a spider's web. You figured as much because, on "Take Your Kid to Work Day" a few months ago, while you were looking after Jim and Pam's baby as they were in a meeting, you began singing the classic song your parents used to sing to you, making the little girl laugh with funny gestures and silly faces. Anyone watching would have thought it was adorable to see a baby smile, and they might have even noted some maternal instincts in you. But the moment Dwight looked at you with that familiar expression and suddenly asked whether it was possible for an animal weighing tons to be held up by a spider's web, the humour of the situation vanished, replaced by a shared moment of incredulity. And of course, the camera that followed you around during and after work caught it all.
"You don’t have boobs."
For a moment, you thought you might choke on your coffee at his comment, but thank God—or whatever is up there—that you didn’t. You couldn’t believe what you had just heard.
"What?" you asked, tilting your head in utter confusion. It was like you couldn’t comprehend the words that had come out of his mouth, repeating yourself as if to make sense of them. There was no way Dwight had said something that ridiculous. At least, you hoped not. "What did you just say?"
Dwight, the Dunder Mifflin salesman standing with you in the kitchen, gave you another once-over, much like he had that morning, though you hadn’t noticed at the time. He even circled around you as if you were some kind of circus animal, eyeing you up and down, particularly the areas most people consider… erogenous—namely, your breasts.
He had noticed a strange change in you over the past few months. Nothing too glaring, but it was enough to trigger alarms in his mind—alarms born out of concern and fear that something might be wrong, and he wouldn’t realize it until it was too late. You’d put on a little weight, but not in the usual places. Your body fat no longer seemed to settle in your thighs or hips, nor even your butt, but in your abdomen and arms. Then there was the slight deepening of your voice, which you had explained—blamed, really—on your plant allergies that acted up every year around the office. Dwight knew, however, that this wasn’t entirely true. As winter set in, your voice only grew rougher, lasting throughout the year to the present day. And your breasts—how could he forget? They had practically disappeared. They weren’t huge to begin with, but they were noticeable in your suits. Now, there was nothing but a flat plane where once there had been two small mounds.
"You don’t have boobs," he repeated, with no shame at all, causing your brow to furrow. You were angry, angrier than you had ever been. "What? I’m just stating a fact. You look like a man without them."
You clenched your teeth, and for a moment, you believed you might actually punch Dwight. He wasn’t insensitive, at least deep down, you thought. He wasn’t a bad guy, based on what Pam had told you about his past, and he certainly didn’t discriminate against everyone around him. For God’s sake, Stanley, who was Black, and Oscar, who was gay and Mexican, both worked with you. He couldn’t be like that. You refused to believe he could be discriminatory, especially not toward you, and especially not over something beyond your control.
But as Dwight kept staring at you, he began to realize his mistake. Jim had already warned him to be careful with you and to choose his words wisely because you weren’t the same person anymore. You weren’t a woman and had never truly been one. You were a man trapped in a woman’s body, who had suffered through comments from old colleagues, lifelong friends, and even family who had turned their backs on you because you weren’t who they thought you were. Or at least, that’s how Jim had explained it. Dwight hadn’t paid much attention to the details.
The person in front of him was you, yes, but not the same you had known a few years ago when Andy and the Stamford people had joined. Now you were a little taller, with all the changes mentioned before and without the physical attributes that had once made your body resemble that of a woman. It was weird, and a bit confusing for him, but deep down, he didn’t see anything wrong with it. You were a guy, after all—just another guy at Dunder Mifflin.
"You’re unbelievable…" you murmured, placing your mug on the counter as you braced yourself for what might come next, like so many other times with different people. "Go ahead, laugh. That’s what you want, right? To laugh at me because I’m not like you. To laugh at me because I’m not a woman, because I identify as a man, because I am a man." Your voice shook with frustration, already anticipating the worst. "Well, guess what? This is me. And no, I’m not confused. I’m tired of people telling me I’m confused just because… because I was born trapped."
Dwight simply stared as you let out all the pain, the frustration with society, with the world around you, venting your anger at the prejudices that had shaped your fears of judgment from anyone and everyone. You knew how difficult it still was for people in the 21st century to come out as gay, even though it had become much more normalized. Today, same-sex couples could be seen walking down the street, but even that still sparked controversy in much of America. Being transgender, on the other hand, was still something "worse" because there hadn’t been as many public cases.
"Can you explain to me why I would laugh at my coworker, or why I would say you’re confused?" Dwight asked, causing you to frown at his question. "Why are you looking at me like that? Now I’m confused. Is this some kind of mental game? I’m not prepared for that right now; I’m not in a defensive position, stop—"
"No, no," you interrupted, shaking your head in exasperation, trying to offer some sort of explanation to your colleague. "But you… do you think this is normal? I just told you I’m a man, that I identify as a man."
Dwight simply shrugged at your emphasis, as if it wasn’t a big deal or the world’s biggest problem.
"Why wouldn’t it be normal? You’re gay, like Oscar, but as a woman. Aren’t lesbian women like men?" he asked, raising an eyebrow, causing you to sigh and run a hand down your face to calm your nerves.
"No, Dwight, I’m not a lesbian, and a lesbian woman isn’t like a man—it’s not the same thing," you responded, trying to find a way to explain it to him properly. Schrute was a farm man, a guy from the countryside, and maybe he had a more closed mind. But if Michael had been able to understand it, even if you had to draw pictures and put on a sock-puppet theatre show, you were sure Dwight could get it without all the theatrics. "I’m transgender. I was born in a woman’s body, but I feel like a man, and I consider myself a man. I’m a man trapped in a woman’s body."
"Like butterflies?" Dwight asked. "Caterpillars wrap themselves in cocoons and then turn into butterflies."
You couldn’t help but gesture with your hand, trying to show him that it wasn’t exactly like that, but close enough. At least you wouldn’t have to put on a theatre show, but you’d need metaphors he could relate to so he’d understand.
"More or less, not exactly, but let’s say yes," you nodded. "I’ve been a caterpillar my whole life, and it’s been an awful struggle because I wanted to be a butterfly. I’ve lost people along the way, people who meant a lot to me, and I’m still really afraid of losing more now that I’m becoming that butterfly."
Dwight nodded slightly.
"Okay, but I have a lot of questions," he admitted, which made you look at him with interest, ready to answer the typical queries people had about your transition and how you realized your identity and everything that came with it. "Do you already have a penis? How exactly does it grow?"
A small smile appeared on your face as you tried to hold back laughter.
You knew what lay ahead now that you had shared this "secret" with Dwight—strange questions and perhaps some off-colour remarks. But deep down, you were grateful that he hadn’t rejected you. He didn’t care how you identified; he’d keep it in mind to make you feel comfortable, but he would never turn you away or distance himself from you. Because, despite everything, you were still you.

Dwight’s prank
Pairing: David Wallace x reader
Warnings: None
Requested: @ricflairdrip20
Request: prompt # 23 & #29
***
For as long as you can remember, you’ve always been the one who had been the most hurt by those who thought you could call your “friends.”
One of the things that has attracted you to David Wallace is the fact that he was a good listener to anyone who needed an ear to trust. Though he hasn’t listen to you yet, he was more than willing to. Seemingly more than willing to do it and when he took notice in how you seem down one day, that was when he decided he was going to walk up and talk to you.
David stopped halfway, his tongue had gone dry as he couldn’t form the words he wanted to say to you. He always chooses his words wisely when it comes to talking to someone, but now he realizes it’s when he’s about to walk up and talk to you. Finally, something in mind had come up and he started to speak, but he spoke in a soft voice that you almost missed it. It was surprising to say the least, it spooked you as were deep in thought and you never get spooked, that wasn’t like you at all.
“What’s on your mind?” he asks softly, causing you to jump.
You deny the fact there was anything wrong at all.. well, at first.
As eerie as this may sound, David Wallace had been noticing you better than noticing anyone else in the office. David didn’t mean to do it, he was just so taken by your beauty that he couldn’t help but to keep an eye on you. Before you could speak to even try to deny things, David noticed as he looked closer that you seemed to be short of breath and and sweating as if you had just come back from running a marathon. Seeing you in this condition is where his concern for you grew even more than it already had. You said nothing as David takes the empty spot next to you as he asked you again, a bit differently this time.
“What’s happened? Did something happen?”
You don’t respond at first, but than decide it was best to be honest with him and so you told David why you were looking so upset and how your day had been going so far. You didn’t want to get anyone in trouble, but you felt you had no choice this time and called that person out to David as you begin explaining.
David wasn’t too pleased to say the least after hearing your story and he wanted to get to the bottom of it.
“You know that weight loss competition we’re doing?”
David nods as you continue.
“Well, Dwight thought it would be funny to trick me into thinking I’m helping him out with a new client and what does he do? Well he drops me off at an abandoned warehouse in a bad part of town and left with my purse as well as my phone.”
“Are you serious?”
“Yes.. but don’t worry! I’m okay, I wasn’t before but now I am.”
David sighed.
“Stop pretending you’re okay, because I know you’re not.”
“I’m not pretending-“
“Yes you are!”
Before you could say another word, David storms away and you know exactly where he’s headed.
So you follow him.
Once you got to the office, David walks up to Dwight and interrupts his phone call. Dwight immediately gets defensive and even more so when David confronts him of what he did to you.
“Let’s make this the last time I hear of this!”
“Oh come on..”
“You left her in a bad part of town, Dwight!”
“So? I took her purse what’s the big deal?”
“It is a big deal, Dwight!”
“She burned calories walking back here-“
“That’s not how healthy weight loss workout!”
David had to pull himself out of there as he was close to losing it, you followed. Once he had calmed down enough after the events of defend/protecting you, he turns towards you and says only one thing.
“You don’t deserve to be treated that way. You deserve so much better, (Y/n).”

˗ˏˋ dating dwight fairfield would include. . . ´ˎ˗
warnings: none! gender neutral / no pronouns used for reader. feedback is always appreciated <3
anxiety. its no surprise dwight is an anxious person and if you are too then same boat, same hat! that anxiety is what makes him powerful though. in your time of need the leader comes through to calm you down and once you do, he calms down too. panic can spread and that’s not good for the team!
integrity. he feels like he cannot hide anything from you. if he fucks up, he will apologize even if he doesn’t see it at first and always keeps it in the back of his head to make himself better. consistency is key after all. you two simply move on in a consistent upward growth!
comfort. this matters a lot to dwight. he wouldn’t be a good boyfriend if he didn’t care for your comfort! he’s one of the best people to go to when you’re upset and he tailors it to you. whether its him having your arms around you as you cry into his shoulder or hearing you vent about what is on your mind, he will be there for you.
conversation. he’s awkward at first but when he gets used to you he just cannot seem to shut his mouth and its endearing. he rambles about anything really he likes, which can include you. its even better if you like to talk too because you two can go off into some really interesting conversations. he mentally notes things you like so he can ask questions later just to hear you talk more :)
yearning. dwight can be a little clingy and he yearns for you constantly. your voice, your eyes, your entire being. you are the first thing he thinks about when he wakes up and the last thing he thinks about when he goes to bed. you make it worth it for another day.
affection. expect a lot of affection from him when he sees you. his eyes immediately light up and he cant help but immediately be drawn to you. its a tight, warm hug followed by a quiet “i’ve missed you” in your ear. he also likes to press kisses to your nose. he gets a little embarrassed about pda though. most he’ll do is hand holding or a small kiss to the cheek.
gentleness. he’s a very gentle person. he’s tender in a lot of ways; from the way he holds you to the way he looks at you. everything with him is soft and loving. it’s not that he thinks you’re fragile or anything, its just how he is and again: your comfort matters the most to him.

yasss, your reqs are finally open again!! so happy to see it <3
could you do Ash, Thalita, Dwight, Rebecca and Ace with a killer s/o (or crush (or friend)), who's just..very chill? Trials with them filled with zero sadism or hard feelings, they are just, yk, doing their job. Sometimes giggling at the stupid things survivors do, ask if everything's alright if someone falls or bumps into something, and letting everyone go on a good day if they just ask good enough!!
🦞loveyou
this was fun to do!! looove survivor x killer lol <33
also tried to make the relationship ambiguous so it can be read as either romantic or platonic!
Dwight Fairfield:
If you asked him, Dwight wouldn’t lie, you still scare him a little bit, even though he knows you’re generally harmless outside of doing what the Entity asks you. And you being friendly doesn’t really help him make sense of his feelings. It’s a confusing concoction and he never knows how to act around you.
If you come to help him after he falls on his face while trying to vault away from you, his face flushes red — he still tries to act brave in front of you, though. He quickly tells you he’s alright and dusts himself off. He kind of sits there awkwardly in front of you for a moment before gesturing that you should get back to your chasing.
He’s usually the first to ask if you can let everyone go. Typically blurted out in fear when you have him down, but sometimes he very awkwardly walks up to you after you’ve hooked or downed someone to ask if you’ll let them all live, fidgeting with his hands. He knows chances are you can’t, but he also knows it doesn’t hurt to ask if you’re willing to listen.
Ace Visconti:
Of course, Ace is a gambling man. When he noticed you looming over him while he worked on a generator, he decided he should try his luck committing to the generator. You didn’t immediately stab him, so maybe it’ll work this time — out of the hundreds of other times he’s tried it. He was surprised when he realized he had finished the generator and you had left to bother someone else. Looks like his luck is finally turning around…
He usually takes risks like this with you. It’d happen with any killer, honestly, but he feels more safe taking gambles when it’s with you. He’ll commit to working on generators, instantly run to save teammates, try to pull himself off of the hook, even. Sometimes it doesn’t pay off the way he wants to, if you decide to mess with him, but that doesn’t dampen his spirit.
This means he’s usually also the first to offer himself in place of one of his teammates. He kind of banks on you loving him enough you’ll spare both of them, but he knows sometimes he needs to go or you enjoy messing with him a bit. He tends to see it as more of him earning points to cash out with you, like you’ve killed him this many times, you should let him go this time. This works a little better.
Ash Williams:
Ash’s bravery — perhaps more accurately, stupidity — regarding evil creatures isn’t exactly a secret. He was always bold and hanging around you when he shouldn’t have been, he was the first to find out that you’re relatively harmless compared to most of the other killers. Due to said “bravery,” of course — but he finds it just groovy that you’re a cool killer.
If you’re in a trial with survivors who don’t already know you’re chill, he loves casually hanging around you and seeing the panic on their face as they try to get him away from you. This would fall on deaf ears even if he didn’t personally know you, but he really gets a kick out of it. You and him can always share a laugh over little things like this.
He will test his luck sometimes by being annoying or baiting hits from you. He knows you don’t actually want him dead, so he has fun messing with you and seeing what he can get you to do. He loves when you get a little playful and go along with it, pretending like you’re really out to get him — it’s so much fun for him.
Rebecca Chambers:
Rebecca would have surprised you by being brave enough to trust that you didn’t want to hurt everyone for your own pleasure, rather than for your job. She may have seemed hesitant, but eased up when she saw how comfortable you were with everyone. There was no bloodlust or craving for violence — you seemed…normal. As normal as you can be, at least, she guessed.
She first got close to you when she ran up to heal a downed teammate and saw you standing there. She felt safe getting them up in front of you, and even gave you a thumbs-up when you let them run off. There was a moment between the two of you before you began chasing her instead.
She doesn’t typically mind when you have to kill a few of the survivors. She knows you have to. As long as you’re nice to everyone and knows you’re not doing much more than a job, she, at least, accepts it. She treats you with the same respect you treat all the other survivors with.
Thalita Lyra:
Thalita was sure her people skills would earn her favors with a killer at some point. Even a monstrous serial killer should be able to be charmed by her, she thought. She was relieved when you had agreed to spare everyone’s lives after a tough, long-winded trial. She knew at that moment you couldn’t be as bad as the rest of them.
She’s competitive and enjoys a bit of fun with you, often baiting you into chasing her around so she can see how long either you or her will last. Of course, there’s the added bonus of this allowing her teammates some time, but it’s mainly to sate her competitive spirit. The others frequently see the two of you running around the grounds laughing to yourselves.
She honestly loves being with you. It makes her feel like she’s building a community again — building a bridge between the survivors and the killers. Perhaps you’re the first step to the two groups coexisting. She knows it’s probably a pipe dream, but you know her, so you know even if that’s true she’ll still work towards it, now with you.
