Okay I need me some Vasant x Krishna (/plat) hcs
OK SO... Let's get into it....
(I'm gonna assume he has a avatar and also I won't say anything about any ships - other than RukminixKrishna elopement - because I don't know what anyone prefers)
He's a flower vendor from Mathura.
– When Krishna first came to Mathura, on his way to Kans' palace he meets him for the first time.
– After everything happens, and when he and Balaram finally gets the chance to roam around they again spot.... Nalin? (It means lotus)
– Ofcourse the three of them instantly bonds together and spends every second of the gushing about flowers.
– When Subhadra is born, Nalin becomes the sweet neighbourhood bhaiya to her.
– They grow up like that and when Krishna moves to Dwarka, Nalin goes with his flower bestie ofcourse.
AND also ofcourse given the know-in-all Krishna is, he ABSOLUTELY knows who Nalin is
Now coming to when Krishna is Dwarkadhish..
Remember that starbharat Mahabharat version where Krishna takes Arjun with him to elope with Rukmini? I don't know what everyone prefers so I am going with the canon version here, where Krishna rushes of all by himself
– He takes Nalin with him but leaves him somewhere behind before going near the temple. (Nalin actually returns with Balaram to give the new couple more...‘privacy’)
– When Arjun was in Dwarka ofcourse both of them instantly vibes together that also through dancing.
– Nalin actually helps in the Subhadra-Arjun abduction case. Though Balaram kinda becomes annoyed with him because of that but they patch up anyways...
– When Pradyumna is born OFCOURSE Nalin is delighted his long lost bestie is back... But sadly it lasts only for a moment as Pradyumna is again kidnapped and doesn't return for a long time..
– Over all he is there being the chill “Mama” (yes mama because I really like that one and it also gives space for both Lakshman and Balaram to shine as uncles) to all of Krishna's and Balaram's kids
– When Abhimanyu is there Nalin bonds with him quickly too and becomes his third mama... They actually bond the most after Pradyumna and Krishna..
He's there being the flower bestie to everyone and dumping flowers on everyone and anyone
Uhhhh tell me if I am forgetting anything other than that anybody is welcome to add anything else, I didn't go outside canon...

I’m going to rant about Rukmini real quick
Yk it really bothers me that Rukmini isn’t remembered as much as Radha is. Like I do not understand why she is so remembered when she was in Krishna life for only ten years, eleven at most. And he was ten or eleven when he left to kill Kansa, I highly doubt a toddler was romantically involved with someone like people say. That’s like the last thing on their mind.
Although some people believe that she didn’t exist and was made up by later texts since she wasn’t mentioned in Ved Vyas’ original texts. I personally believe this or that it wasn’t a romantic relationship at all, more of a devotion or friendship, she could’ve been been his babysitter or something and he really looked up to her since she was older than him, to the point that her marriage was fixed with someone else.
But it really bothers me that people remember her the more than other wives of Krishna. Especially when she was barley in his life compared other women. And it really bothers me that people don’t even know who Rukmini is. Rukmini deserved to be remembered along with Krishna just as much as Radha. She was the one who fell in love him without even seeing him or meeting him. She only had his stories that were told to her by other people. She was the one who left her family to be with him, risking never seeing them again. She was the one who planned the whole “kidnapping” because she knew that no one but herself would be able to save her from that marriage. She was the one who had endure the separation from her first child. She was the one who shared her husband with 16107 other women, it couldn’t have been easy. And she did it happily too, something no women today would be able to do. She was the one who took care of Dwarka when Krishna was off helping the rest of the world. She was the one who assumed the form of Mahalaksmi and blessed Sudama and his family with prosperity and beauty. She was the one who held the fort and after Krishna died she was the one who made sure everyone was safely on their way with Arjuna before committing sati. Some say that Dwarka only drowned after Rukmini committed sati because it couldn’t handle being separated from its Queen. After everything she only gets one temple in Dwarka dedicated to her and that away from Krishna’s temple too, when she was the queen of Dwarka while Radha is one of the deities in the Dwarkadhish Temple. Whenever I search up Rukmini and Krishna, Radha is always there, whenever I search up murtis of Rukmini and Krishna, Radha and Krishna are the first to show up. How is that fair?
She’s barely mention in those feminist retellings of the great women of Mahabharata/Hinduism or just videos/books that talk about the awesome/underrated/or misunderstood women in Hinduism, even Gandhari gets a mention but not Rukmini. Lakshmi is sometimes excluded too. I didn’t even know about Rukmini until my parents made me watch the B.R. Chopra Mahabharata over quarantine. I absolutely fell in love with with her and it just makes me upset how people don’t recognize her enough.
Rukmini deserves this too, she deserves all the stories, the songs, the bhajans, the shows, the movies and for her name to taken before Krishna. She deserves so much better and so much more.
Vishnu’s avatar’s subjects have a habit of mistreating his wife. I’ll forever be mad at Ayodhya for questioning Sita and than being all sad after she left them. Those fake bitches had it coming. I’ll forever be mad at society for not recognizing Rukmini enough for her her kindness, and generosity.
Kashibai was right, the lover will always be more remembered than the wife. (RadheKrisha, BaijraoMastani)
And this is not to say that I do not like Radha or anything like. This is just me expressing my feelings about the worlds treatment about how she and her love is treated they the society. I know that probably they didn’t care about being remembered or anything material like that, that she was just happy being with Krishna. But doesn’t mean she doesn’t deserve it, in fact that is more a of a reason she should be remembered
#rukmini#rukmini deserves better#krishna rukmini#krishna#i love rukmini#her love for Krishna deserves to be remembered just as much#as radha’s

Dwarka and Ahmedabad Trip - Family Travel form Korba Chhattisgarh
As I packed my bags at my residence in Korba, Chhattisgarh, I felt a thrill within me. This tour was not just a simple vacation; it was a family trip meant to unite relatives from all corners. Our destination was the sacred town of Dwarka and the bustling city of Ahmedabad.
Setting Off from Korba
The day was just breaking when the family embarked on the trip. Loading my bags into the car, I felt emotions of excitement and anticipation. The journey to Bilaspur from Korba was familiar, yet each trip had its own story. Along the highways, we passed green plantations and small-scale farms that dotted the landscape.
In about an hour and a half, we reached Bilaspur, where my relatives from Bhilai joined us. It was like an informal family gathering in the parking lot. After a quick meal together at a nearby hotel, we headed to the railway station to catch our train to Dwarka.
The Train Journey: A Time for Bonding
The train journey was filled with fun and shared stories. The energy within the group was high as we traveled from the territory of Chhattisgarh to Gujarat. Along the way, we spotted beautiful peacocks and wind turbines. The home-cooked Chhattisgarhi dishes we’d brought turned into a communal feast, enhancing the bond between family members.
As evening arrived, I watched the sunset in Gujarat, noting how the sun lingered longer than it would back home. Spending this time with positive, cheerful relatives in beautiful surroundings made the journey unforgettable.
Arriving in Dwarka
After a night on the train, we arrived in Dwarka, greeted by the early morning sunlight on the ancient temples. We checked into our hotel, where my grandparents chose to rest while the rest of us headed to the Dwarkadhish temple. Walking through the throngs of devotees, the temple's intricate sculptures left us all spellbound, and the sense of peace within its walls was overwhelming.
The next day, we visited Bet Dwarka, a small island accessible by ferry. The kids were excited, and we bought real pearls with plans to make earrings for family members. This island, believed to be Lord Krishna's first residence, held great historical significance. We explored its temples and beaches, soaking in the spiritual and natural beauty of the place.
In the afternoons, we wandered through vibrant markets, sampling local crafts and delicious food. I made sure to pack some native dishes, including fish and dried fish, to bring home. In the evenings, we gathered as a family, sharing stories over meals at small dhabas, creating memories over shared plates.
Journey to Ahmedabad and Exploring the City
After a few days in Dwarka, we set out for Ahmedabad, a scenic drive across Gujarat. Upon arrival, we checked into our hotel and set off to explore the city. Our first stop was Sabarmati Ashram, where Mahatma Gandhi lived for many years. Walking through the peaceful surroundings, I felt a renewed sense of respect for the man who had left such a lasting impact on Indian history.
That evening, we visited the bustling night market at Manek Chowk. I found myself drawn to the hot and salty street food, steering clear of the sweet Gujarati flavors that don't quite suit my taste. But dining together under the market's bright lights made the evening perfect.
Cultural Experiences and Wildlife Adventure
The next day, we explored Ahmedabad's architectural and cultural landmarks, including the beautiful Adalaj Stepwell. This Indo-Islamic architectural marvel, with its shaded steps, offered a cool respite from the heat.
Afterward, we went to a water park, where we were surprised to see Raftaar, who was performing at a concert that evening. Meeting him added an unexpected thrill to the day!
The following day, we continued our adventure with a trip to Gir National Park, home to the majestic Asiatic lions. The safari through the park was a thrilling experience as we spotted not only lions but also other wildlife, including deer and exotic birds. The raw beauty of the forest and the excitement of spotting animals up close made it a memorable addition to our trip.
Coming Home
On our journey back to Korba, the car was filled with animated conversations about the trip’s highlights and the question of when we’d have our next family gathering. This trip was about much more than just visiting new places; it was about being with loved ones and creating memories that would stay with us for years.
As I unpacked my bags at home, I felt fulfilled by the laughter and experiences we had shared. This journey from Korba to Dwarka, Ahmedabad, and Gir National Park left me eagerly awaiting our next family adventure, knowing that travel is truly enriched by the company we keep.
