So, for the past little while, I've been working on a fursuit for my Dutch Angel Dragon, Dusk. His head and handpaws are officially done and I'm getting ready to start working on his tail! I thought I'd share some images from my journey making my first real attempt at a fursuit.

Finished my first fursuit partial commission!

Head:

Lined

2 velcro tongues (one long one with a magnet, and one short one)

Extra floppy ears

Alternate eyelids

Pockets for accessories

Paws:

Fully lined puffy paws

Squeakers in the paw pads

Retractable claws

Finger Escapes

Armsleeves:

Fully lined

Velcro strap for easy storage/easy take off (just unstrap the velcro and slide them off)

Wings:

Extra flappy wings

Foldable for easy storage

Sewn in eye details

Tail:

Removable tail pillow for easy washing/storage

Removable stuffing

Detailed cutaway

Tail belt clip to keep the feathers off the ground

Pocket large enough to fit a phone

I had so much fun doing this! Since I'm a full time college student, it took me about a year. I also experimented with new methods to make things (for the head and the paws), and made completely new pieces (the wings and tail).

Overall I'm really happy with how this came out, and I plan on making a few premades + possibly taking one or two more commissions after this. It'll all take me a while since I'm still in school, but I'll post the premades here when I have the concept art.
