Open RP - Felix and Nicholas Gold - OUAT/Eragon AU

Nicholas stood outside the pawnshop, looking out to the Storybrooke library. He had a number of thoughts going through his head as his brother came out of the shop.

"Were your words to me not, 'You'll be walking home this evening with that attitude?" Felix had closed up shop and was locking the door when his brother's eyes looked over to the other man.

"Considering you're not the crippled of the two of us, you should be walking home." The younger twin shrugged at the thought of it.

"Unfortunately, it's the only upside to our lives here." He says low, hearing the sound of footsteps coming toward the shop. "I'm sorry, we are closed for the evening." Felix shifted to meet the person coming up to them.

11 years ago, I did the first quick chapter for a series titled 'Dead Ringers', which is of course taken from the movie title. It was never meant to be an exact thing, just a title to go with a series based around twins 'Felix and Nicholas Gold' who are actually The Shade Durza and The Dark One Rumpelstilskin. 

Last night, I re-read, edited, added, and posted the next chapter of the series. So far, there has been some interest, and I am also very interested in continuing the series as I am re-watching Once Upon a Time! 

The name so far for the story will stay the same, but I am thinking of changing the title. 'Haunting' works for the first chapter but not the story itself.

Roleplay Wishlist Idea;

Rumpelstiltskin and Carsaib are twins; this is, of course, based on my old 'Dead Ringers' fanfiction idea from a decade ago.

{Dead Ringers}

Carsaib is sent to another realm, and Rumpelstiltskin is left on his own. Carsaib dies and becomes The Shade Durza, and Rumple is cursed to become The Dark One.

Both reunite in Rumplestitskin's realm and the cursed town of Storybrooke. Durza challenges Rumple for Belle in fairytale land, but both mourn her departure in Storybrooke.

Felix Gold is Durza, and Nicholas Gold is Rumpelstiltskin.

This would be set around the time of season 1 or at the very end of season 1.

I’m having to keep myself awake so I won’t be too strung out tomorrow while starting my first night shift. If anyone wants to RP. Just speak up! I don’t have much to reply to so I’m just working on old stuff. Which are mostly between me and @ofheroismandsacrifice. 

Don’t be afraid to send random shite for characters or anything. I’m pretty much up for it.

"The Sherriff?" Felix asks, finding that to be fairly odd, considering the police in town worked for Regina. "Are you certain that's who sent you?" Nicholas smirks at the idea that Regina's mercenaries would be turning against her. "Whoever sent you here, they clearly understand that we may be able to help you if it calls for it. I'm a lawyer, or was once upon a time." The older Mr. Gold explains before he gestures to her brother.

"We also own the rental properties in this town, as well as most of the time itself. So it's highly unlikely for something like this to occur without our involvement." 

Felix scoffs not at his brother but at the situation. "The mayor is just trying to get you to cave and shut down so she can do whatever she wants with your shop...or yourself."

His answer gave Belle a small bit of reassurance. Still, she did worry about what exactly the mayor could do. “ Thanks. And… the Sheriff told me. About you, I mean. “

She inwardly wondered if either Gold could help.

Felix knows what she's getting at, considering the propositions his brother puts them in. "I am," Nicholas answers, bringing his cane to rest before him as he looks at the woman. "Well, when the price is right, I can make a deal work." He tells her as his brother looks the woman over as they speak. He already knows he and Felix are thinking the same thing.

"Are you interested in making a deal, dearie?"

His answer gave Belle a small bit of reassurance. Still, she did worry about what exactly the mayor could do. “ Thanks. And… the Sheriff told me. About you, I mean. “

She inwardly wondered if either Gold could help.

Felix catches sight of the woman, and he steps back, noting her appearance. His breath was lost on him a moment before he reaches to touch his brother's shoulder. "What is it?" Nicholas asks before his eyes fall on the woman. Hearing her speak before they both are staring at her like she's a ghost. "W-who are you looking for?" Felix asks her as they both are looking the woman up and down.

"Maybe we can help you find them?" He speaks again, trying to get her to talk.

Nicholas practically glares at the woman when she speaks of Regina. "She has no legal right to do something like that." He tells the woman before Felix smirks, coming to stand next to his brother.

"He's correct; Mayor Mills can try, as in she can bring your business to the attention of the town council to have it shut down, but it would need to be voted on by the city...she can't just shut it down." The older man of the two looks to Felix, and the younger brother already knew what he was thinking. 

"Who sent you to us, dearie?" Asks Nicholas after a moment.

"Which Mr. Gold?" Asks the older of the two men before a smirk appears on Felix's face. "Perhaps she is speaking of both of us?" Nicholas rolls his eyes and makes his way over to the woman. A limp in his step and a cane at his side as he approaches her. "Whichever one of us you're looking for, you've found them. How might we be in your service, my dear?" Asks Nicholas.
