i was born with a cleft lip, but i had surgery to fix it once i was 3 months old. since then ive had a very visible scar from my nose to my upper lip that a lot of people ask about, and to add to that, my lips are very assymetrical because of it. i know many people have it worse, but always having to be told that i should use more makeup, that i should get scar removal surgery, or that i look ugly has rlly messed with me. your reply to that scar ask helped me feel a bit better ab myself. ty

I’m sorry people have been so shallow with you, there is no reason why you should change or hide your appearance to suit anyone’s ideas but we do live in a world where this is a lot easier said than done. still, your experience is unique and the look of you is shaped by that - I think your scar sounds pretty badass, honestly! own it!
