An AI-penned remake of the Iñárritu film without actors, or anything resembling the original film. Instead it's just a bunch of dictionaries piled up into a tower. Eventually a plush Duolingo owl is thrown from off screen and knocks over the tower.

While we’re on the topic of various horror! Readers, I’ve always loved the idea of the boys meeting a mermaid. Logistically since they live next to a beach it could happen, and it’s kinda fun to imagine mermaid reader and one of the boys potentially trying to seduce (and eat) the same victim

You get dragged up from the depths during a storm, or maybe some illegal deep sea fishing went wrong and YOU were hauled up instead of the usual catch. Either way, you wash up on the beach outside of Santa Carla, half dead and extra freaky looking, and when you come to, you’re surrounded by four scruffy-yet-glam vampires who are all arguing about whether or not your blood would kill them.

Initial shock and hostility aside, you all start getting along pretty well. You’re too weak and too useless on land to attack them, and they’re not stupid enough to go in the water and get pulled into the death roll from hell, so you’re all at a bit of an impasse. The boys realize they can drag their leftovers to you and you’ll dispose of them, bones and all, since down in the depths there are all sorts of whale carcasses you’re used to snacking on, and slowly but surely you begin recovering.

As your health returns, so does your bioluminescence. One evening, as you’re dozing near the surface, the boys come outside to see your entire body dotted by tiny blue green lights, and it’s positively hypnotizing. Who knew that vampires were just as gullible as fish?

You can’t eat them, though. They helped you, even though they’re always poking fun and calling you things like “sushi,” whatever THAT is, and you enjoy the free meals. So you stick around, and they keep visiting, and sometimes you hang out with just one or two at a time and sometimes it’s all of them. You learn more of their language and all sorts of new words, and you try to teach them yours, but they aren’t very good at it so you eventually give up (although dwayne keeps up with his mermaid duolingo lessons).

Eventually, they reveal their lair to you, and the fact that the sunken hotel has a few rooms-turned-grotto inside that you can reach via underwater caves. You start hanging out there, and you meet Laddie—and double triple pinkie swear not to eat him OR any of his midway prize plushes—and soon, your ethereal siren songs echo throughout the entire cave, and it’s as if you had been there with them from the beginning. 💕

My dramatic change in lifestyle since living in the end:

One lesson of Duolingo in the morning and one before bed, learning SP’s native language.

Scripting in the morning and before bed, the night one is for revision.

1 hour of exercise per day.

Better diet, every meal is well-presented because I deserve it.

All my progress is logged so I feel successful.

2-3 hours watching that 1000+ episodes anime while I do other things.

Keeping my house tidy and spotless every day.

Dedicating time to research for my job.

What I’ll incorporate soon is:

Waking up really early.

Going back to drawing.

Reading 1 hour per day.

Practice tarot and oracles some days of the week.

Making a fixed LoAss routine.

Taking notes on how to make my life better.

I’m actually trying to embody the self that lives without roommates and shares a roof with SP. In fact, I’m actually ordering a plush doll of a mascot character that reminds me of him so I can take him with me to do things together. I work better with placebos plus this will be a wonderful addition to my plush collection when SP is back.

A friend even joked about me cursing SP to become a plush doll and won’t become human again until his way of thinking changes and bends because he finally realized many things about me 😂. I mean, I love reading and I love a good romcom so I guess I can buy this as my “manifestation story” in a way. I mean, my life is already too serious so, I might as well have fun with this.

At the moment, I’m using a smaller plush doll but I cannot wait to get this one.

Currently Working On: Aaaalways thinking about/working on my stories but recently made more progress on my rpgmaker version of my main one, TLS, (I might post a little of it someday but its more of a personal project), finishing art WIPs and trying to improve in general, an animatic I'll probably never finish, got a few polymer clay figures I'm attempting to make decent, an outfit for my Stitches plush to look more like my Pocket Camp one, my Live2d model, Duolingo Spanish, trying new recipes, eventually learn to play the guitar my dad gave me, gardening, I learned how to make an oragami crane a while back! Hmm… I got a few other random things I wanna try but unfortunately my brain is a tornado. Other than that life, physical and mental health- the works.
